Hello there everyone! I'm finally back with an update to this story for you all, and hopefully you like it.

I meant to get this posted before the New Year, but obviously I missed that by a day. I got all behind when I decided to write that little Dawsey Christmas story I posted last week, and that kind of messed me up in terms of getting this chapter done. But it's finally finished, and I can't wait for you all to read it!

We're nearing the very end of Gabby and Matt's time in Puerto Rico, which also means we're nearing the end of this story as well. But we're not quite there yet, so in the meantime I hope you all like this chapter and the last little bit of Dawsey's time in PR.

As always, thank you all so much for reading. I hope you all enjoy it, and if you have a minute once you're done it would mean the world to me if you could tell me what you thought. Thank you so much.

I'll see you all next time!

part twenty

The sound of the television played softly in the background of their apartment while Casey started taping up the first full box in front of him, the man having been working on getting a few things together while Gabby was off in the shower. She'd been in there for a while, ever since they got back to the apartment nearly an hour ago now as from the moment they left work this morning, she'd been desperate for a real shower. One that wasn't taken at a job site, like all of theirs had been for the past two months as that was the last time they'd been able to make it back over here to the apartment.

So this was certainly something Gabby had been looking forward to, and considering he could still hear the water running through the open door to the bathroom, he knew she was making this shower count.

And while she did that, Casey decided to make good use of his time as well, as he'd slowly gotten started on the whole reason they came back to the apartment in the first place.

Which was to begin packing everything up before it was time to go home.

It was almost surreal to think about how quickly it had all gone by, how he'd been here for well over three months already. That their time in Puerto Rico was already coming to an end, and in just a few short weeks they'd be back in Chicago. It all felt a little strange, to the both of them. But it was also a good feeling, because Matt and Gabby were more than ready to get home.

Their time in Puerto Rico had been incredible, and after being immersed in everything here for so long, Casey could say without a doubt that this trip was something he desperately needed. Not only had it given him more time with the love of his life, but he had the chance to refocus, and clear his head, which is something he couldn't do at home. Even though he found it all a bit daunting at first, the idea of being away from Chicago for so long not being something he was used to, he could genuinely say this was one of the best decisions he'd ever made in his life.

Coming here, to be with Gabby, was not only the best thing that could've happened for them, but for him too, as Matt was the happiest here that he'd been in a long time. He'd been given a sense of peace, and purpose, that had been missing from his life, and becoming part of this incredible work they were doing here fulfilled something in him that he would forever be grateful for. And he knew neither of them would ever regret a second of the months they'd spent here together in Puerto Rico, as Casey was well aware that it would be difficult to leave this all behind in their final days here.

But despite all of that, he also knew it was time.

Even with the sad, somewhat bittersweet feelings he knew they had towards leaving this part of their lives- this part of Gabby's life behind, that didn't take away from the fact that they both felt ready to go. That no matter how wonderful these months had been, and how happy they were being here, it was time to get back to Chicago and start the rest of their lives together. He wholeheartedly believed that.

And more importantly, he knew Gabby felt the same way. Just like she'd wanted all those months ago, before he agreed to come here, she was ready to go. From the numerous conversations they'd had over the past few weeks, of Matt checking in with her constantly to make sure she hadn't changed her mind, and that this was what she still wanted, he knew without a doubt that it was. That she was ready to put this part of her life behind her, and go back home.

There were maybe a few lingering nerves on her end, just because of how long she'd been away. And stepping back into a life you'd left behind was never easy, but past all of that she was just excited to get back to Chicago. She'd said it over and over again, how she was looking forward to going home, with him.

And having that assurance made all of this a little easier as he worked on packing up another box, Matt feeling a complete sense of contentment knowing that no matter how sad it might be to leave here, as long as they were with each other that was all that mattered.

"God, that shower felt amazing."

The sound of his girl's voice brought an immediate smile to his face before he looked up to see her walking out of the bathroom, Gabby using the towel in her hands to get some of excess water out of her hair while she continued towards him in nothing but her bathrobe.

"Better than you were expecting?" He asked with a slight grin, while finishing up with his tape job.

"Definitely." She answered, scrunching up her nose slightly as she came to a stop just a few feet from him, her eyes moving around some of the boxes he'd been working on before she found his gaze once more. "I see you've been busy."

"A little, yeah." He responded with a shrug, Gabby chuckling softly before she placed her towel over the chair beside her. "I figured it couldn't hurt to pack up some of the bigger stuff while you were in there, the things I know we won't use again before we leave." He further explained, earning a knowing nod from her before he placed his second finished box onto the ground.

"Well, thank you. For getting started on that." She spoke with an easy smile. "I know we've got our work cut out for us these next few days, to get all of this packed up." She continued on while glancing around the apartment. Even though there wasn't an outrageous amount of stuff, Gabby had been living here for a few years, and they knew it would take them some time to get all of it together.

Which is exactly why they had taken these few days off now, away from the site, so Matt and Gabby had some time to focus on nothing but packing up all their things and getting it all ready to be shipped back to Chicago. Because with as hectic as her last couple weeks on the job would be, Gabby knew this was something they needed to do now instead of waiting, that way her and Matt both would be able to spend their remaining time in Puerto Rico at the job site to tie up whatever loose ends they still had.

Especially where Gabby was concerned, given she was leaving behind a lot more than he was. That there was more she had to delegate while preparing to say goodbye to everyone here. And, because as Matt knew better than anyone, she wasn't someone who could easily be replaced. She couldn't be replaced, and her work here in Puerto Rico was no different. Them no longer having her here would be a big loss for their team, and there was so much Gabby had to finish up and hand off to other people before they left, so this entire transition would go as smoothly as it possibly could.

"Yeah, but we'll get it done." He spoke surely after a moment before giving her a nod, while Gabby met his gaze. "As long as we just stay here, and don't get too distracted.. We'll be fine." He added on, seeing the way she raised her eyebrow before a soft breath left her lips.

"Well, I'm sure we'll manage to find some ways to distract ourselves." She told him, her words coming out slowly while she teased him, as Matt couldn't help the soft smile that graced his features. "But that aside, I'm sure you're right."

"I'm definitely right." He echoed, before starting to put together another box. "And before we head back out to the job site, we'll arrange to have all of this shipped to Severide's." He continued on, Gabby wincing slightly as she moved a step closer.

"Yeah… And you're sure Kelly's not gonna mind that?" She questioned, Casey picking up on a slight bit of hesitation in her voice before glancing back her way. "Having all of my stuff sitting around at his place for a little while?"

"Not at all." Matt answered simply, flashing her a gentle grin before continuing on with his task. "He knows we're gonna be crashing there for a bit, us and our stuff, until we can find a place for us." He told her, missing the content look that flickered in her eyes as he kept going. "I mean, it may be a little cramped for however long we're there, but it'll be fine. Sev offered for us to stay as long as we needed… Though I'm not anticipating us staying there for long, cause I'm excited for us to get into our own place again."

Her smile grew wider and wider the more he spoke, Gabby looking at him with nothing but pure love in her eyes as she gently crossed her arms over her chest, Matt sparing a quick look at her to find her watching him.

"...What?" He asked after releasing a soft breath, Gabby shaking her head slightly while continuing to move towards him.

"Nothing." She answered softly as he reached out to wrap his arm around her waist, Matt pulling her into him despite her still being a little damp from her shower. "I just like the sound of that."

"The sound of what?" He pressed while settling his hand over her hip, Gabby placing her hand over his chest while her deep brown eyes locked on his bright blue ones.

"Our place." She repeated, the near goofy grin that immediately covered his face sending flutters through her chest. "After so long, it just sounds nice… And it makes me happy every time you say it." She breathed out, the slight hint of vulnerability in her voice causing him to lean forward and place a soft kiss against her lips.

"It makes me happy, too." He echoed after pulling back, watching as the smile on her face grew even bigger before she nodded. "I know we have our life here, but once we get back home we'll be able to actually have a place that's just ours again. And I'm so excited." He continued, seeing her nodding in agreement once more as she felt the exact same way he did.

"Me too." She spoke before lifting herself up to kiss him, Matt tightening his hold on her waist for a few seconds until she started to pull back.

"Even though Sev might be a little sad that he's finally getting rid of me after all this time." He added on with a chuckle, Gabby shaking her head lightly before she said something.

"Yeah, you'll have to say goodbye to Kelly. At least as roommates." She replied with a slight smile, Casey laughing once more before the look on Gabby's face began to get a little more serious. "...And you're sure you're okay with that?" She questioned somewhat suddenly, Matt raising his eyebrows as he traced over her face. "Moving out of Severide's? That's okay with you?"

"Of course, yeah." He answered without a thought, seeing her pause for a moment before she nodded. "I mean, I'm pretty sure I've overstayed my welcome anyway." He told her while continuing to rub over her side, earning a soft laugh from her in response. "I only moved in out of necessity, and then just never left… And yeah, there's a part of me that might miss it. I'm so grateful to Sev for letting me stay with him, but it's time for me to move out. Because once we're back in Chicago, the only place I want to be is with you."

Gabby's smile started to reappear as his genuine words sunk in, her hand rubbing gently over his chest before giving him a slow nod. But Matt wasn't done, as there was still more he had to say to her.

"It's all I want, for us to live together again… For us to keep taking those steps forward. Together." He said strongly while keeping his eyes focused on hers, as Matt wanted to make sure she knew exactly how he was feeling. "I know there's still some things we'll need to figure out along the way. And we will. But right now, what I know for sure is that I want us to move back home, into a place of our own.

Warmth spread throughout her entire body as she took in everything he said, her gaze moving over his features until they locked eyes once more, before she leaned in for another soft, yet passion filled kiss.

"I love you, you know." She murmured against him, Casey letting out a soft laugh as he nodded slightly.

"Yeah, I know." He answered just as softly before he kissed her once more.

And that was where they both stayed for a few more moments, neither of them in any rush to move as their slow, gentle kisses continued, Matt's hand staying firmly in place around her side as he wanted her as close to him as she could possibly get.

It wasn't until they needed to breathe that they separated, Gabby giving him one last kiss before pulling away and resting her forehead against his, the two staying in this position for just a second longer until she slowly began to step away from him.

"Are you good?" He asked her while his hand lingered on her hip, Gabby knowing he meant more than just in general. That he was asking if she needed any more reassurances from him before they continued on with their day, the woman nodding slowly as her hand slid up to cup his neck.

"I'm good." She replied after a breath, before leaning in to steal one more kiss. "I'm gonna go get dressed, and then I'll start to help you pack." Gabby continued, earning a nod from him before she began to walk away, Matt instantly missing her presence the second she moved away from him.

Though he didn't let her get too far before his voice stopped her once more.

"Oh, and I've been thinking." He started, Gabby's steps slowly as she turned back around to face him. "I know we're trying not to distract ourselves too much while we're here," He told her with a gentle smirk, Gabby biting back a laugh before he continued. "But still, it might be good to try and look at a few of the apartment listings in Chicago over the next couple days."

Her face softened as he spoke before she gave him a small nod, Matt matching her grin as he kept going.

"I've had Kelly keeping an eye out, to see if he found anything promising. But I also know you can be very… particular." Matt said carefully, earning a playful look from her in response. "So I figured we could look at some whenever we have time. To maybe break up the packing a little bit.. And plus, the service is better here." He suggested, Gabby laughing softly at his words before she nodded.

"That sounds good to me, babe." She replied, seeing that child-like grin reappear over his face before he nodded back at her.

"Alright, good." He repeated, his eyes moving over her form for a moment before he glanced back towards the bedroom. "Now go put some clothes on before those distractions start too early." Casey spoke lightly, Gabby scoffing back at him before she continued on towards their room.

"Yeah, yeah I'm going." She told him, Matt chuckling lightly as he kept his attention on her until she disappeared through the doorway, his eyes lingering there for just a moment more before he went back to packing.

Heavy pants and moans filled the living room of their apartment as Gabby stalled on top of him, Matt's hands digging into her waist before he lifted his hips up into her once more, that one sharp movement sending them both over the edge as her legs shook around him. They both stayed in this position for a few moments, Gabby's body weight collapsing against him as her head fell into his neck, while he started to run his hands up and down her back in an effort to help calm her down.

They were breathing heavily, Casey able to feel her still trembling slightly before she slowly moved off of him, a low whine leaving her lips when they separated from one another while Matt was still fighting to catch his breath. Without a word, she settled down into his side, Casey wrapping his arm around her shoulders before his head fell down against the back of the couch, the two of them both completely spent while they sat here together in the living room.

"Well…" Casey started after a moment, rubbing his hand along her arm as there was a thick heat settling in the air around them. "I'd say our last day in the apartment has been well spent." He told her, Gabby chuckling softly while he was looking up towards the ceiling, the man taking another moment to regain himself before lifting his head back up.

"If that means having sex in every possible place we could, then yeah… I agree." She responded with a grin, reaching over to pinch his side before he shied away from her touch. Or as much as he could being cuddled up with her on the couch.

"Hey, that's not true." He defended, Gabby raising her eyebrows in amusement when she lifted her head up off his shoulder to look at him. "...We haven't made it to the kitchen yet."

She couldn't help but roll her eyes as he spoke, Gabby laughing softly once more as she reached out to swat his chest before tucking herself back into his side. She could practically feel the amusement radiating off of him while he pulled her even closer, Matt pressing a quick kiss against her head before he reached back to grab the lone blanket left on the back of the couch.

"And we've also managed to get a lot of packing done, too." He continued on while laying the blanket over their naked bodies, the soft fabric encouraging her to cuddle closer to him despite the heat still coming off of them. "Just in between all the sex."

"Charming." She replied dryly, earning another laugh from him while her eyes started to move around the apartment. The very bare, packed up apartment, as there were mountains of boxes stacked high around them, and not much else. But that was exactly what Gabby was hoping for after they'd spent the last three days here working on getting all of her things together, a sense of complete contentment settling in the air around them as she began to lightly rub her hand over his stomach. "Though I don't think we're gonna have any time to make it to the kitchen." She continued to tease him, feeling him laugh beneath her.

"Trust me, I'll make sure we find the time." He told her, Gabby shaking her head lightly before resting back down against him, Matt sliding his hand around to her side as a soft quiet fell over them, the couple happy to sit there basking in the afterglow of their time together for at least a few more minutes.

But when they heard his phone start to buzz against the end table, that started to pull them from their bubble a bit, Casey letting out a soft groan before he reached over to grab it.

"You could just ignore it." She commented, as she easily sensed his displeasure at whoever was trying to reach him.

"I would, but I've ignored it for the past few hours." He reminded her while settling back down against the couch, as they both knew this wasn't the first time someone had tried to reach him during their time together.

"You could've answered earlier." Gabby murmured while his eyes moved over the phone screen, the words barely having time to leave her mouth before he scoffed at her, Casey glancing away from the device for a moment to look at her.

"Not a chance." He breathed out, seeing the satisfied smile that covered her lips as he held onto her side a little tighter. "All I was focused on before was you."

Heat crept up her neck while he spoke, the euphoric aches in her body making themselves known as she rested her chin against his shoulder. "Yeah, I could definitely tell." She told him, knowing well of just how detail-oriented he could be as Matt chuckled softly in response.

"And you seemed to enjoy it." He spoke softly, Gabby scoffing lightly before watching him refocus his attention down to his phone, his silence not going unnoticed by her as he continued to read over the message in front of him.

"Who is it?" She asked after a few moments of quiet, Casey absentmindedly running his hand along her bare side.

"Boden." He answered, Gabby giving him a nod as he quickly typed out a response before putting his phone back down. "He was double checking to see if he had the dates right, for when I'll be back at the firehouse. And when we'll be home, since my leave is almost up." He elaborated as he placed another kiss against her head. "Though after all this time not being a firefighter, I might be a little rusty."

Gabby laughed softly before shaking her head against him, her hand patting his stomach gently as she spoke up. "I don't think you'll have to worry about that. The second you're back there on that truck, it'll be like you never left." She told him, her words bringing a small smile to his face before he nodded back at her.

"Yeah, you're probably right… You usually are." He added on, earning another laugh from her before a comfortable quiet fell over them once more. But that didn't stop Casey's mind from turning, as he couldn't stop himself from asking the question sitting on the tip of his tongue. "But, uh- while we're on the subject… have you thought about that at all?" He questioned, seeing as Gabby lifted her head up from his shoulder to look at him. "Work? And what you wanna do?"

A thoughtful look covered her face, her eyebrows furrowing slightly as he broached the topic they hadn't really gone near. They'd talked a lot about going home, and how things would go once they were back in Chicago. But the one topic that had kind of been avoided was work, as neither Gabby or Matt had made an effort to bring it up.

But with their days left here in Puerto Rico limited, he couldn't help but feel like now was as good a time as any as Gabby eventually gave him a shrug in response.

"A little bit." She answered after a couple seconds, Casey giving her a nod while he tapped her side, a flicker of hesitation appearing over his face before he said his next words.

"...Do you want to come back to 51?"

Her head tilted to the side a bit, Matt wearing a soft smile on his face as he waited for her to respond, Gabby clearly taking some time to think over the answer to his question before she slowly began to shake her head.

"Honestly… I don't think so." She told him truthfully, Casey unable to hide the quick flash of surprise he felt by her admission. But he soon recovered, the man nodding slowly while he continued to cradle her against him. "I mean, would I like to go back given the chance, sure... Maybe. It would be something to think about, at least. But there's not really any place for me there now." She continued to explain as an understanding look appeared over his face. "My old spot is filled, and has been filled for a while. And it's not like I could even try and go back on another shift, because then we'd hardly see each other… So I think 51 is just something that's a part of my past now."

Casey nodded slowly with a small smile, before he leaned forward to press a kiss to the side of her head.

"I get it." He murmured against her, Matt kissing her once more before he pulled back.

"Yeah… Though I think I'd still like to be a paramedic." She told him, seeing the smile on his face widen before he nodded once more. "I loved that part of my life, and I do miss it. I know I'd have to get re-certified, and there's no way to know where I'd end up… But I'd like to be a paramedic again." Gabby continued on, Matt not missing the way her eyes started to light up when she spoke.

"Then that's what you should do, as long as it's what you want." He told her, her smile growing a bit while her shining eyes focused on him. "Whatever you decide, you know I'll support you." He assured her, feeling her body relax slightly in his arms before she leaned forward to give him a soft, slow kiss.

"Thank you." She whispered against him, feeling his smile grow before their lips connected once more, the two slowly moving together as her hand slid up towards his neck, while he tightened his grip around her waist.

As the seconds passed their movements became more and more heated, the feeling of their bare skin against one another intensifying each moment as his other hand started to roam her body, neither one of them separating until air became an issue.

"Matt…" She breathed out as he began to trail his kisses down her jaw towards her ear, Gabby tilting her neck back to give him a better angle as his palm slid slowly towards her chest.

"Hmm?" He hummed against her, marking her skin for a moment before he pulled back to look at her, Gabby seeing an almost inquisitive look in his eyes. "...Are you wanting to move this to the kitchen?" He asked with a suggestive grin, Gabby huffing softly before she began to move back from him.

But she never said no, Matt leaning his head to the side as he watched her grab the blanket and wrap it around her while she slowly got up off the couch.

"You better at least feed me first." She told him as she made her way towards the other room, Casey's mouth starting to go dry before he hurried up off the furniture and followed after her, the man more than ready to continue their goodbyes to Gabby's apartment on their last night here.

Casey stood back in the corner of the dining hall while Gabby moved around the large group of people, his face wearing what had to have been a permanent smile ever since they arrived here about half an hour ago, as they were currently enjoying the small going away party some of the team had decided to throw for Gabby.

It was their last day here at the job site, their last full day in Puerto Rico, as bright and early tomorrow morning they would be flying out. And to celebrate, and say goodbye, they all had planned a little get-together, giving Gabby, and Matt, the chance to see everyone they'd grown so close to before they left.

Though, with Casey only being here for such a short time in comparison, his goodbyes hadn't taken nearly as long. He'd made some friends here, and gotten to know a lot of the people close to Gabby, but for the most part he hadn't been here long enough to form those close connections like she had. Not except for with Travis, as he and his friend had already had their long and somewhat emotional goodbye, the two men promising to keep in touch whenever they could.

But after that, it was really Casey just saying goodbye to people he sort of knew, it not taking Matt long at all before he was able to make himself comfortable over off to the side of the room, and instead focus on Gabby. And all the people she was currently saying her goodbyes to.

Though while she did, it was impossible for his mind not to start wandering, as Casey still couldn't quite believe their time here was finally done. That over the last couple weeks, they'd managed to finish up everything they needed to, while also handing off the things they couldn't. How Gabby was able to complete so many of her projects, while Casey had just finished working on that school with Travis before it was time for them to leave. And that all of their work here was finally done.

He almost couldn't wrap his mind around it, how there'd be no more late evenings here at the site, or those even later nights spent together in the tent. How there'd be no more meeting up for meals after working for hours, with their bodies so physically tired it was almost hard to stand. There would be no more spending months of their lives here doing some of the most fulfilling work they'd ever done. And it was a strange feeling to accept.

But still, they didn't have any doubts about the choice they made, and all they could do now was soak up every last minute of their time here before it was time to go.

Which is exactly what they planned on doing.

"Hey man."

Casey snapped out of his focused headspace when he heard Antonio's voice, the man glancing over to see Gabby's brother standing beside him with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Hey Antonio." Matt greeted with a soft smile.

"You enjoying your party?" He asked, Casey huffing lightly before he nodded over towards Gabby.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just her party… But I appreciate them including me." Matt said with a laugh, Antonio mimicking the action before he nodded in agreement.

"You're not wrong there." He replied, Casey offering him a small grin before he looked back over towards his girl to see her now surrounded by a lot of the children from around the city, the ones Gabby had grown so close to during her time here, as all of them crowded around her while they said their tearful goodbyes. "They like you, but Gabby is just… She's like a savior to most of these people who live here." He breathed out, earning a proud yet sad look from Matt before he nodded. "And the team too, she's so loved by everyone, they're all gonna miss her… Which is why you two are probably gonna have to sneak out of here in the morning, cause I don't think they'll let her go." He finished lightly, Casey chuckling softly in response.

"I don't doubt it, cause everything you said is true." He breathed out, his eyes staying locked on Gabby for a few more moments before he glanced back towards Antonio. "I hate that it's already time for us to leave, it feels like these past four months have just flown by… But we also feel ready to go, you know?"

"I do, and that's what Gabby's told me too." Antonio replied as he caught Matt's gaze. "That she's gonna miss all of this, but she got what she needed from coming here. And now she's ready to go home." He repeated her words, Casey's eyes softening before he nodded.

"Yeah, that's what she's told me, too." Matt echoed, the two sharing a knowing look before he continued. "But, uh… what about you? You figured out what you're doing yet?" He asked, seeing the older man sigh before he gave a slight shrug.

It was no secret to anyone that the reason Antonio first came here to Puerto Rico was because of Gabby. Because he was drowning in Chicago- in a way, like she was, and he needed to get away. He needed time and space to deal with all of it, while also being in a place where he had someone in his corner. And that was here, with his little sister.

But now that Gabby was leaving, it had been a topic of conversation over the last few months as to what Antonio would want to do. If he would choose to stay, or go back home, and as far as Casey knew, he hadn't really given Gabby an answer.

"Honestly, I'm not sure." Antonio replied after a moment, Casey giving him an understanding nod as he leaned his weight back into the wall. "I mean, I wouldn't be leaving right now regardless, but I… I think I'm leaning towards sticking around for a bit." He admitted, Matt looking over him for a moment before Antonio continued. "I don't think I'm ready to leave yet."

"That's understandable." Casey told him, the older Dawson offering him a small smile in response.

"Yeah, I just- I don't know, being here has been really good for me. And I don't feel like it's something I want to leave behind just yet." He continued on. "I've talked with Gabby about that too, about how I've been since coming here, and how it was for her and I… She told me that for the longest time, being here helped her more than anything. That it was the best thing for her, and gave her a chance to heal. And I think that's where I am right now." He told him, Matt a little caught off guard by his vulnerability. But he stayed quiet regardless, as the last thing he wanted to do was interrupt him. "Gabby isn't in that place anymore, but I think I am. So I want to stay, at least for a while."

"Then you should." Casey spoke strongly, Antonio pausing for a moment before he nodded. "Whatever you need to do, that's what you should do… I've gotten just a little taste of how much being here can help. How it can clear your head in a way nothing else can, so if you're wanting to stay then you should."

Antonio nodded once more before offering him a slight smile, Casey matching his look as the older man spoke up.

"Yeah, I think I'm going to. I'm gonna do what Gabby says, and do what's best for me by staying here… Just like Gabby's doing what's best for her by leaving." He told him, seeing the way Matt's smile grew just a little bit. "Though I hope you know you all are still gonna have to come back and visit." He added on lightly, Casey chuckling in response as he lifted his hand up to rub over his jaw.

"Trust me, we'll definitely be coming back at some point." Matt answered with a soft gleam in his eye. "Gabby's gonna want to come back to check on things, and see everyone… We'll be back."

"Good." Antonio told him, the two men sharing one last smile before they returned their attention back out to the party, Matt's focus staying on Gabby before he eventually decided to make his way back over to her, Casey not wanting to be away from her any longer as they spent the rest of the afternoon saying goodbye to everyone here.

As well as saying goodbye to their life in Puerto Rico.
