Jaded Tears

His slate grey eyes glared, making them no bigger than a slit as his blond hair plastered itself lifelessly over his left eye. His jaw clenched. His hand gripping tighter his beautifully crafted slytherin sword. He shifted his arm making his sword sit an angle behind him as he stalked towards his enemy. They had their back to him, he walked slowly shouting for them to turn and draw. They hadn't moved as if they hadn't even heard him. Walking a little faster the blond raised his voice a little asking them once again to turn and draw. Still, there was no sign that they had heard him. He ran at them shouting for them to turn and draw for the final time.

With one swift movement the person turned round and stared at the blond. Emerald eyes stared at him. The blond stopped in his tracks. In front of him was the one and only thing that could make him stop like that.

"Draco?" growled the raven- haired youth.

"Harry?" Questioned the blond, his voice sounded delicate as if it would break if it were to rise.

There was a clattering of swords as they hit the ground. An echo resounded throughout.

"What are you doing here? I have to do this on my own. Leave me. Just walk away." Said Harry huskily.

"Harry I can't do that! I won't do that! Stop being a fucking hero! Let me help you please!" cried Draco. "I love you!"

Harry stopped and turned away from Draco. "I love you too. So much more than you will understand."

"Then let me help you Harry."

"I can't" said Harry his voice constricting.

"Yes you can."

Draco bent down and retrieved his sword off the cold stone floor.

"I'm sorry." Said Harry. Tears falling slowly down his cheek.

Draco stared at him, wondering why he was crying.

"What are you sorry about? There's nothing to be-"

Draco gasped.

"NO!"

Draco closed his eyes. When he opened them again he was standing outside of the great oak doors of the great hall.

"Harry! I'm not leaving you alone. I will find you!"

"Avada kedavra!"

A jet of green light missed Draco, screeching past his left ear.

"Hello dear nephew." Said a low female drawl.

Draco knew that voice.

"Bella." Growled Draco.

A heavy lidded woman stood in front of him, lowering her hood. She gave an icy sneer.

"Where's your lover traitor…Oh! I do believe he is fighting the dark lord now." She said taunting Draco.

"CRUCIO!" yelled Draco.

The curse hit her straight in the chest. She fell on the floor screaming and writhing in pain.

Draco ran hoping and praying he would find Harry in time.

"Don't worry love I will find you."
