Enough's Enough!

It's been a couple of days since everyone's encounter with Abidos, the (so called) undefeated pharaoh. And so far, nothing new happened. It was another peaceful day on the island. Back over the Obelisk Blue Girls dorm, Jenny was in their private kitchen (which was very fancy), and worked on some sandwiches. There was a picnic basket placed on a table. She hummed for herself as she added some salad to one of the sandwiches.

"Jenny! Jenny?" Someone called out. She looked up towards the entrance of the kitchen and saw Jasmine and Mindy coming in.

"There you are!" Mindy said. "Where have you been up to?"

"Was it something you wanted?"

"Well, not that too important, we just..." Jasmine trailed off when she noticed the food and picnic basket in front of her. "Oh! Are you preparing a picnic?"

Jenny blushed and looked away. "Yeah. I'm about have one with someone."

Mindy suddenly gasped in excitement. "Don't tell me... you're going on a date with Andrew!"

Jenny's blush deepened.

Jasmine shared Mindy's excitement. "A picnic with your boyfriend? Now that's romantic!" She then reached for the food. "Hey, can we help you with something..."

SLAP!

"OW!" She yelped as she got slapped on her hand. And it was then, Jenny's face got close to them, and they flinched when they saw her glare.

"I'm perfectly fine on my own...

They then found themselves right outside the kitchen, sweat drops at their heads as Jenny peeked out from inside. "Now, be so kind and let me handle this alone!" She then went back inside.

Unbeknownst to them, someone watched through a window. And this person wasn't really happy. "That's it! I can't take it anymore! It's time for Jenny to become mine, once and for all!"

At the Ra Yellow dorm, Andrew was in his room. He just got out the bathroom with nothing but a towel that covered the neither part of his body. "Haa! There's nothing like a shower after a hard exercise."

He sat on his bed, resting for a little bit. And then suddenly, heard a beeping coming from his PDA. He picked it up and pressed a button.

"Hey Andrew." Jenny greeted with a smile.

"Jenny." Andrew smiled back. "What's up?"

"I just wanted to ask you something." She then noted his wet hair. "You got out of the shower?"

"Yeah, I just finished my exercise. It sure do wonders..." His stomach suddenly growled. And judging from her giggle, Jenny was able to hear it, much to Andrew's embarrassment. "Of course, sometimes exercises can work up the appetite."

Jenny nodded. "Then that's perfect. Because I was wondering if you would like to spend the afternoon with me. I thought we could have a picnic."

"A picnic?" Andrew repeated and smiled. "Sure. I would love to!"

"Great! Then it's a date. I'll be there soon!" She then hanged up.

Andrew couldn't help but blush at the thought. "My very first date with my girlfriend. And I thought I would end up asking her out."

Moments later, Andrew was waiting outside the dorm. He decided to leave his yellow jacket in his room. Without it, he was wearing a blue t-shirt. As he waited, he was thinking about his relationship with Jenny. He felt like he was lucky that he and Jenny got together. At some point after they became friends, there was a small part of him that felt that he wanted them to be more than that. Of course he was too shy to ask her. And not to mention that he was oblivious when she tried to tell him. He never realized she had feelings for him. Not until their latest duel.

"Hey Andrew." A feminine voice greeted. He turned and saw Jenny walking up to him, picnic basket at hand. He noticed that she was wearing something different from her uniform. She was wearing a white blouse and light-blue skirt. She also had the angel-like hairpin she received from her mom. It really looked good on her. "Did you wait long?"

Andrew smiled to her. "No, not at all." He then offered her his right hand. "So, shall we go?"

"Right." She smiled back and grabbed it as they left the area to find a good place to have their picnic.

The couple walked for a while until they found themselves near a lake. A lake where you could almost see the girls' dorm from the other side. Jenny seemed to be fine with this place. "Well, this looks like a great place. Let's sit down here, Andrew."

"Sure." He agreed as he sat on the ground. Jenny right next to him and placed the basket between them.

"This is a nice view, isn't it?"

"You said it. Your dorm sure is lucky to have this kind of view."

"Yeah, but as me and the others mentioned once, I won't let the luxury affect my view on other people."

(Growl)

Jenny turned to Andrew, who blushed due to his growling stomach. She giggled. "Someone's really hungry, huh?"

"Yeah."

"Then let's eat." Jenny declared and reached into the basket. "For starters, I made some..."

SNAP!

"Huh?" Both them turned to the direction the sound came from. It was they saw Jasmine and Mindy, with the latter standing on a twig.

The two girls laughed awkwardly. "Sorry." The former said.

"Don't mind us." The latter added.

Jenny stood up slowly and narrowed their eyes. "Were you watching us?"

They flinched at her question. "N-no! We were just passing by!" They simultaneously.

Jenny then picked up the picnic basket. "Come on, Andrew. Let's go somewhere else."

"Um, okay." Andrew replied and followed her.

"Let's find some place where we can have some privacy." As she finished her sentence, she gave Jasmine and Mindy a warning look, making them flinch again.

"I don't believe it." Jenny mumbled in frustration.

"Don't think about it." Andrew soothed her. "There other places we can choose from. And I think I know where we can head to."

"Where?" Jenny asked.

"Just follow me." Andrew grabbed her free hand and led the way...

"How about this?" He asked as they arrived.

They place the came to was the garden in the forest. And there were more flowers planted around the area than before. There were even hedges with roses on a few spots. And there were a little humber of students who visited the place. They were either walking around, or sitting on the benches

"Oh, I know this place." Jenny noted with a smile. "Cynthia mentioned that the Chancellor had people make this garden."

Andrew turned to his right and smirked at what he saw. "And speak of the devil."

Jenny followed his gaze and saw the green-haired girl in sitting on one of the benches. And she wasn't alone. Sitting right next to her was Shiori, and he was clearly nervous as he chatted with her. "Well, isn't that cute?" Jenny giggled.

"Yeah, guess we aren't the only ones on a date."

"Cynthia works fast, that's for sure."

"Even faster than us." Andrew added. They then looked at each other before laughing a bit.

"Come on, let's find a spot."

Moments later, they were sitting under a tree near the outskirts of the garden. And so, they enjoyed the picnic. Especially Andrew, who was munching on one of the sandwiches.

"Mhm.~ It's so tasty. I really like it."

"Thank you." Jenny replied happily. "Hm?" She noticed something red at the corner of Andrew's mouth. "Looks like you got some sauce there."

"Hm?" He blinked. He then widened his eyes as Jenny wiped the sauce with a napkin.

"There."

He blushed a bit. "Thanks."

"Oh! And for dessert, I made this..." Jenny took something out of the picnic basket. It was wrapped in paper. She removed it and revealed some kind of cake on a plate. "A strawberry cheesecake."

"Oh!" Andrew eyed on the cake with interest. "It looks yummy."

"I baked it myself." She cut a slice and held it up for him. "Here..."

"Hey!" Someone yelped. And that someone fell down on Jenny.

"Ah!" Which surprised her and made her toss the cake upwards. And as a result...

"Gah!" It landed on top of Andrew's head.

Jenny turned to the person who bumped into her, and saw it was Daniel. The lazy Slifer who once dueled Cynthia.

"What's your deal?" Daniel asked, glaring at two Obelisk boys who sneered at him. One with spiky red hair, and one with short white hair.

"The deal is that slackers like you are not welcome here." The one with red hair said

"Yeah, this garden is for the elite."

Daniel gave them a deadpan look. "You two probably had wax in your ears when the Chancellor mentioned this, but this garden is for everyone. Take it up with him."

The boy with white hair grabbed his collar and brought him close to his face. "We don't take orders from you, Slifer. Now beat it or... huh?" He suddenly thought he saw a red aura. He then flinched when he saw Jenny, who slowly got up. And he could sense a certain thing from her. And so did his pal. And that...

...was anger.

"Unbelievable!" Jenny fumed as she and Andrew were walking through the forest. "How many times do we have to get interrupted?"

Andrew gave her a nervous look. 'I don't think I've seen her this angry before.'

And of course, no one would blame his nervousness. Especially since the two Obelisks were left laying on the ground. Each of them with a black eye.

Eventually, the couple arrived at the beach. And it was almost empty, with only a very few people nearby.

"And I was hoping we could get some privacy. This is so frustrating!" Jenny said in exasperation.

Andrew placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry that things didn't go as you were hoping for. Honestly, I'm not much happy about that myself. But... I love spending some time with you. And that's good enough for me."

Jenny turned to him, smiling slightly. "You mean that?"

"Yeah. Plus..." Andrew grinned. "Even though I didn't get eat so much of that cheesecake, it was delicious."

Jenny giggled. "Glad I didn't disappoint." She then wrapped her arms around Andrew's neck.

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"I'm glad we're together." Jenny said.

"Me too..."

They were both about kiss, but...

"Stop right there!" A new voice called out, startling them. When they turned to the source, they couldn't believe their eyes.

"You've gotta be..." Andrew started.

"Kidding me." Jenny added.

That voice belonged to none other than Norman Johnson. The stalking Obelisk boy who's been after Jenny. "I won't let this go on any further."

Andrew was getting really annoyed and stepped forward. "You really are getting ridiculous, Norman! Why can't you just leave Jenny alone!?"

Norman gave him s dirty look. "Why don't you stay away from her!?"

"Because Jenny is my girlfriend! You're an obsessed nutcase who doesn't truly care about her feelings!"

"You don't deserve a girl like her, Wilson!" The green-haired Obelisk protested. "So just walk away and-"

"I think you should walk away." A calm voice spoke up. However, the boys turned to the voice's owner slowly and paled. Jenny was once again surrounded by the aura reflecting her anger.

"Eh?" Norman blinked.

"I don't see how it is so difficult for you to understand..." She approached him slowly. "I don't like you. In fact, I never like you to begin with, so just stop with your delusional nonsense and back off!"

Andrew was once again nervous by her rare, angry tone.

And Norman almost felt like he was gonna wet himself, but didn't back down. "N-no way. I want to be with you! Surely I can prove to you that I'm better than-"

"Fine!" She interrupted.

"Huh?" Norman blinked.

"Jenny?" Andrew questioned.

"If Andrew couldn't get something through your thick skull, then I guess I have to knock some sense into you!"

"W-what do you mean?" Norman asked slowly.

"You and I... are gonna to duel! If I win, then you'll stop bothering me and Andrew. If you win, then I'll break up with Andrew and become your girlfriend."

"Say what!?" Andrew exclaimed.

"Deal!" Norman replied loudly. In his mind, he grinned evilly. 'Actually, I was hoping this would happen. Because with what I have in store in my deck, my dear Jenny is as good as mine.'

"Jenny, are you really sure about this?" Andrew asked worriedly.

She nodded. "Positive. As I told you once, this is my problem, so I'm the one who should handle it."

Andrew stared at her for a moment before he gave her a nod. "Right. Then take him down!"

Moments later, the two Obelisks took their positions and activated their duel disks. "Here goes nothing." Andrew muttered.

"Are you ready?" Jenny asked.

"I'm as ready as you are, my dear." Norman replied with a smirk.

The fairy duelist scowled before drawing her opening. "Let's get it started."

"Well then..." Norman drew his own hand.

"LET'S DUEL!"

Jenny: 4000

Norman: 4000

"Alright, first off..." Jenny drew her sixth card. "I activate the field spell, The Sanctuary in the Sky." They found themselves near the stone palace in the clouds. "So from now on, I won't take any battle damage from the battles my fairies are involved! Next I'll call forth Nova Summoner in attack mode!" The orange circle-like creature with wings appeared. (ATK: 1400 DEF: 800 LV: 4) "Then I'll end my turn with a facedown!" A card appeared at her feet.

"Then it's about I'll get our relationship started!" Norman drew. "And for my first move, I summon Snipe Hunter in attack mode!" A short, purple-skinned fiend clad in black appeared in front of him. And it was holding some kind of gun with a colorful number wheel. (ATK: 1500 DEF: 600 LV: 4) "And now I discard one card from my hand in order to activate its effect." As Norman discarded a card, Snipe Hunter took an aim with its gun. "You see, my monster's gun chooses a random number between one and six. And here's the fun part; if the number I get is neither 1 or 6, then one card on the field is destroyed. And I think I'll start with your field spell!" The number wheel started to spin...

"I activate the trap card, Divine Punishment!" Jenny's facedown card flipped up. "Thanks to my field spell, this trap card negates your monster's effect and destroys it!" The top of the stone palace fired a ray of light and destroyed Snipe Hunter. "You gotta do better than that, Norman!"

In response, the Obelisk boy smirked. "Actually, I was hoping you'd do that. Because now I know you don't have anything to stop me from activating my own field spell! Go, Yami!"

Jenny gasped as Norman placed his card into his field spell tray, making the heavenly area getting swallowed by shadows.

"This is bad." Andrew said.

"You can say that again." Norman grinned. "Because with this field spell in play, all fairy type monsters lose 200 attack and defense points..." (ATK: 1400-1200 DEF: 800-600) "And at the same time, all spellcaster and fiend type monsters get 200 points stronger. And now I'll play this..." "Norman held up another spell card. "Premature Burial! This card lets me pay 800 life points in order to summon a monster from my graveyard..."

Norman: 4000-3200

"So now, say hello to my friend; Brain Golem!" From a dark portal, a big, orange brain emerged. It had a pair of long arms with sharp-looking fingers and eyes all over its body. (ATK: 2500-2700 DEF: 1800-2000 LV: 6)

"Eeww!" Jenny grimaced.

"Now Brain Golem, destroy her Nova Summoner!" The brain-like creature swung one of its long arms and slammed the circle-like creature.

Jenny: 4000-2500

"You just triggered Nova Summoner's ability! After being destroyed, it lets summon another light fairy type monster from my deck, as long as it has 1500 or less attack points! So come on out, Marshmallon!" From a flash of light, the pink blob with its upside down face appeared. (ATK: 300-100 DEF: 500-300 LV: 3)

"That little thing won't help you so much. Especially since my Brain Golem has a special ability. After destroying a light attribute monster, my Brain Golem can attack a second time!"

Jenny narrowed her eyes. "Sorry, but my Marshmallon can't be destroyed in battle."

Norman grinned. "Oh no? Then what if I told you about my Brain Golem's second ability? It negates the special abilities of all light attribute monsters on the field!"

Jenny gasped as she and Andrew widened their eyes.

"Which means your little buddy won't survive this attack!" Brain Golem slammed the pink blob, chattering it into pixels.

"My Marshmallon!" Jenny could hardly believe what just happened.

"I think I've caused enough trouble for you. So I'll end my turn by playing this spell card..." Norman inserted a card into his duel disk, making its image appear. "Field Barrier!"

"Oh no!" Andrew said. "As long as that card is in play, both players are unable to play a new field spell!"

"And not to mention that my field spell can't be destroyed." Norman added. "So you better not try something funny."

Jenny frowned. 'So not only does he have a monster that makes practically all my monsters useless, but I can't get rid of his field spell, unless I can get past his Field Barrier. Looks like Norman prepared himself really well this time.'

"Just hang in there, Jenny!" Andrew cheered. "I know you can turn this around!"

Jenny smiled to him. 'Thanks Andrew.' She then glanced at her deck. 'Now then.' She drew. "My turn!" After looking at her hand, she figured out something. "This will do!"

"Hm?" Norman blinked.

"First I summon Zeradias, Herald of Heaven!" Jenny was joined by a certain man with a green helmet with red horns and a pair of green feathery wings, wielding a double-bladed javelin. (ATK: 2100-1900 DEF: 800-600 LV: 4) "Normally, this monster is automatically destroyed, unless The Sanctuary in the Sky is on the field. But thanks to your golem, that won't be the case."

"Too bad he's too weak to take it down." Norman smirked.

"I'm just getting started. I activate the continuous spell card, The Sanctum of Parshath!" A statue resembling Sacred Arch-Airknight Parshath rose up behind Jenny. "As long as this card remains on the field, all fairy type monsters gain 300 attack and defense points." (ATK: 1900-2200 DEF: 600-900) "Then I'll end my turn with a facedown." A card appeared at her feet.

"Come now, Jenny. There's no way you can win this. Why don't you just give up?" Norman insisted.

"Why don't you just make your move?"

"Okay. If you want to play hard to get, then fine. My move!" Norman drew.

"I activate my trap!" Jenny's facedown card flipped up. "Light of Judgment! By discarding a light attribute monster from my hand, I can send one card from your hand or field to the graveyard!"

"Hold on a second!" Norman protested. "I know how that card works! And that includes the fact that your trap won't work without The Sanctuary in the Sky! And when I last checked, that card was destroyed."

Jenny smirked. "That's true. However, there's one thing you should know about The Sanctum of Parshath. Whenever it's on the field or in the graveyard, its name becomes 'The Sanctuary in the Sky'."

"Come again?" Norman widened his eyes.

"So therefore, I can use my trap card without any problem." Jenny discarded her remaining card before a pillar of light enveloped Brain Golem. When the light died down, it was gone. "And there's more. The monster I discarded was Radiant Jeral." The emerald statue appeared. "And this monster has an ability that only works when The Sanctuary in the Sky is on the field. Whenever it's sent to the graveyard, gain 1000 life points." The statue emitted a light that enveloped Jenny's body before disappearing.

Jenny: 2500-3500

Norman clicked his tongue. "No way I'm giving up here. First I play Pot of Greed!" He drew two more cards." I play a monster in defense mode and end my turn."

"I draw!" Jenny drew her next card. "And I activate the second effect of The Sanctum of Parshath. Once per turn, I can take 3 cards from my graveyard and place them on top of my deck. However, those cards must be fairy type monsters or counter traps. So I'll take back Nova Summoner, Marshmallon, and Divine Punishment." The three named cards came out of her graveyard slot. She then took them and placed on top of her deck. "Now Zeradias, destroy his facedown monster!" The Herald flew over to Norman's field and stabbed the facedown monster card. After it shattered into pixels, a monster took its place. A certain giant, single celled organism. (ATK: 1000-1200 DEF: 100-300 LV: 2)

When the monster exploded, Norman smirked. "Sorry, you destroyed Giant Germ. And due to its effect, you take 500 points of damage."

Jenny winced when a red aura enveloped her.

Jenny: 3500-3000

"And as a bonus, I can summon two more Giant Germ's from my deck." True to his words, two more Giant Germs appeared. (ATK: 1000-1200 DEF: 100-300 LV: 2)x2

Jenny held up a spell card. "I activate the spell card, Pot of Greed! Now I can draw two cards!" She drew her extra cards. "I play monster a monster in defense mode." A facedown monsters appeared. "Then I'll end my turn with a facedown card." A card appeared at her feet.

'That facedown monster must be Marshmallon. And the other card is obviously Divine Punishment.' Norman thought. 'If she thinks I'm gonna fall for her traps, then she's. mistaken.' He drew his next card, looked at it and smirked. "Perfect! Just what I needed!" He then held it up. It unleashed a bright light as Jenny's two monster vanished.

"What is this!?"

"By sacrificing your two monsters, I'm allowed to summon Lava Golem to your field!"

"Lava Golem!?" Andrew repeated.

And then, Jenny's field was enveloped in a bright light, making her close her eyes. Eventually, it wasn't bright anymore. Jenny opened her eyes... and gasped when she found herself trapped inside a cage, held by the lava-based behemoth. (ATK: 3000-3200 DEF: 2500-2700 LV: 8) "No way!"

"Yes way. But don't worry. I promise I'll give you a good time when this duel is over. But for now, I'm gonna switch my two Giant Germ's two defense mode and place a card facedown." The card image of the named monsters appeared underneath them as a card appeared at Norman's feet. "It's your turn."

"Then here goes." Jenny drew her next card.

"And this now Lava Golem's effect activates!" Norman interrupted. "During of your standby phase, you take 1000 points of damage!" The golem started to melt a little.

"I activate the trap card, Divine Punishment!" Jenny's facedown card flipped up. "Now your Lava Golem is destroyed!"

"Not quite! Thanks to my Seven Tools of the Bandit!" Norman grinned and revealed his facedown card. "By paying 1000 life points, I can negate a trap card and destroy it!"

Norman: 3200-2200

Jenny's widened as her trap card shattered into pixels.

"So you won't escape from me, or Lava Golem's effect." Some lava from the golem's body splashed around the cage, making Jenny wince due to the heat.

Jenny: 3000-2000

"So then, what will you do?"

Jenny frowned and looked at the only card in her hand. 'I only have Nova Summoner, I doubt it could help in this situation. If I attack his two Giant Germs with it and Lava Golem, I'll take another 500 points of damage for each of them. And that will cost me way too much. I need to get this around somehow.'
"I end my turn."

"Running out of moves, are we?" Norman asked and drew. "I'll just play a facedown and end my turn." A card appeared at his feet.

"Then it's my move." Jenny drew a card.

"And once again, you'll take damage from Lava Golem. But first, I activate a trap..." Norman revealed his facedown card. "Mask of Restrict! With this in play, none of us can sacrifice monsters in any possible way!"

'Which means Jenny won't be able to sacrifice Lava Golem!' Andrew thought worriedly.

The golem melted even more, with some more lava splashing around the cage.

Jenny: 2000-1000

'I'm almost out of life points!' Jenny thought, feeling frustrated. 'At this rate, I'll lose in no time! What was I thinking about challenging Norman with my and Andrew's relationship at stake!? What if... what if I...'

"Jenny." A feminine voice spoke up, getting her attention. She looked up and saw Tethys floating right in front of her. "You need to calm down. If you panic now, You've already lost. You can still win this duel. Remember, I'm always with you." She smiled to you. "So don't give up."

Jenny calmed down a bit and smiled a bit. 'You're right. Thanks Tethys.'

"Hey!" Norman called out. "What's with that smile? Are you starting to realize how awesome I am?" He asked with a smirk.

'Not really.' Andrew thought with a deadpan look.

"Actually..." Jenny spoke up. "I'm smiling because this duel is still on." She then held up the card she drew. "And I'll start with this: Cards from the Sky. This lets me remove a light fairy type monster in my hand from play and draw two cards." She put her Nova Summoner into her pocket and drew two cards. "With that, I'll end my turn with a facedown." A card appeared at her feet.

"I don't know why you're so confident. You only have 1000 life points left." Norman drew. "And that means you're done for. Why don't you just..."

"Zip it!" Jenny cut him off, now getting annoyed. "I'm tired of hearing your nonsense about you wanting me to be your girlfriend and stuff. You're just one of the boys who only care about my looks." She placed a hand on her chest. "Andrew, on the other hand, can see more about me than just that. And that's one of the reasons I love him. He's someone you can't possibly be."

Norman gave her an angry look. "Yeah, so what!? I'll just end my turn! And as soon as you begin your turn, you'll be mine!"

"Don't be so sure about that." Jenny replied and drew.

"Oh, I'm most certainly sure! because you'll suffer Lava Golem's effect again!" The named monster started to melt again...

"I activate the trap card, Aegis of Gaia!" Jenny's facedown card flipped up and created a barrier that protected her from the dripping lava.

"What!?"

"When this trap card is activated, I gain 3000 life points, so I haven't lost yet."

Jenny: 1000-4000-3000

"Nice!" Andrew cheered.

"So with that out of the way, I end my turn."

"My turn!" Norman drew. "And I activate the spell card Polymerization!" A fusion vortex appeared above his field. "And with I'll fuse my Summoned Skull with Necro Defender in order to summon Archfiend's Manifestion!" The familiar skeleton fiend entered the vortex along with another fiendish monster. It was purple, and looked skeletal. It had three horns on its head and a giant skull like face on its chest. While this monster had no legs, it really. big arms that were long to act like legs. And then, from a flash of light, the Summoned Skull duplicate with purple horns and wings appeared. (ATK: 2500-2700 DEF: 1200-1400 LV: 6) "And thanks to his special ability, all Summoned Skulls on my field gain 500 more attack points. And despite his name, he counts as a Summoned Skull." The fusion monster sparked with purple lightning. (ATK: 2700-3200)

"It's just as strong as Lava Golem." Jenny noted.

"And that's why I'm gonna use my Necro Defender in my graveyard!" The named monster appeared as a spirit. "You see, by removing this monster from play, I can make it so one of my monsters can't be destroyed in battle, and I take no damage from that monster's battles. The best part is that this effect lasts until the end of your next turn." The purple spirit was absorbed the fusion monster's body.

Jenny narrowed her eyes.

"Now I switch my two Giant Germs into attack mode!" Their card images vanished. "Now Archfiend's Manifestation, destroy Lava Golem with Sinister Lightning!" The skeletal fiend fired electricity at the molten behemoth. It was zapped until it exploded, leaving Jenny alone, free from its cage. "I may be kind of enough to let you out of your prison, but Giant Germs don't share my friendliness! Now attack!" With that, the two germs tackled Jenny, making her fall on the ground.

Jenny: 3000-0600

"And that's enough for now! Make your move so I can end this!"

Jenny reached for her deck slowly before a transparent hand was placed on top of her own. She turned and saw Tethys again. "Don't worry, Jenny. There's still one chance. I know you can beta him.'

'Thanks for the support.' Jenny thanked mentally. 'Let's end this together.' That earned her a nod from her duel spirit. "My turn!" They drew the next card together and looked at it. Jenny smiled to Tethys. 'Thanks for the help. This is just what I needed.' She then focused on Norman. "I activate the spell card, Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen!" The named spell card appeared. "Since I have no monsters on the field, I can summon a fairy type monster directly from my hand."

Norman paled. "Uh oh."

"So now I summon Splendid Venus!" All three people watched as the sky shined brightly. And then, moments later, the familiar, four-winged angel in golden armored dress descended, wielding its golden scepter. (ATK: 2800 DEF: 2400 LV: 8) "And with The Sanctum Parshath still in play, she gets stronger, even with your field spell in play!" (ATK: 2800-2600-2900 DEF: 2400-2200-2500)

"It's been a while since we saw her." Andrew said with a smile.

"And I bet you remember her special ability." Jenny replied with a smile before focusing on Norman again. "As long as Splendid Venus is on the field, all non-fairy type monsters lose 500 attack and defense points."

"Say what!?" Norman exclaimed as the angel's scepter emitted a light so bright that his monsters trembled. (ATK: 3200-2700 DEF: 1400-900) (ATK: 1200-700 DEF: 300-0)x2

"Too bad for you, Norman. Since you were dumb enough to attack with your Giant Germs, you left yourself vulnerable for my next attack!"

Norman cringed.

"Now Splendid Venus, attack with Celestial Punishment!" The four-winged angel held up her scepter as the red gem in its center glowed before it fired a strong energy beam. It struck one of the Giant Germs and an explosion occurred, sending Norman flying.

Norman: 2200-0000

The holograms disappeared, including the Yami field that faded, revealing the beach.

"Nicely done Jenny!" Andrew complimented as he approached his girlfriend.

"Thanks." She smiled to him. She then turned to Norman.

"Nngh..." He groaned before he got up in a sitting position. When he looked up, he saw Jenny staring down on him with narrowed eyes and her arms crossed.

"There you have it, Norman. I won this duel. Now leave."

Norman slowly got up on his feet before he spoke up weakly. "Can I at least-"

"No!" She cut him off, making him flinch. "You agreed to leave me and Andrew alone. Now go!"

Norman slumped his shoulders and whimpered as he left the beach.

Jenny sighed. "Glad that's over."

"Yeah." Andrew agreed.

"Too bad our didn't go as I was hoping for. Geez!" The fairy duelist complained. She then felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see Andrew's smile.

"Do you still want to spend some time with me?"

Jenny blinked. "Not that I don't want to, but what do you have in mind?"

"Something simple, but also nice."

Some time later, Andrew and Jenny were at the edge of a cliff. What Andrew suggested was to enjoy the sunset there. Which is just what they did, while sitting under a tree.

"Now this isn't too bad." Jenny said, leaning against Andrew's shoulder.

"Yeah." He agreed.

"This may not have been going as planned, but this certainly makes up for all the interruptions earlier." She looked up to him. "I'm glad we're together."

"Me too."

"One more thing."

What is it?" He turned to face her, only to let grab his face gently and kiss him on his lips. It just took him 1 second before he returned it. When they separated, she spoke up.

"Thanks for everything."

"No problem." He smiled to her before they turned back to the sunset. Even though this date was shaky, this was the best way to end it...
