The Murados

Of Smallville

Disclaimer: Hello all! Sorry for the lack of updates from me in this fic, just hadn't had any inspiration lately until this little crossover idea came to me. In this, Scott and Kira after season 6 found themselves thrown 7 decades back into the past. Eventually, the two move to Smallville as Scott and Kira Murado, a play on Kira's last name and Scott's mom's original last name. They are also the ones who bought the Talon from Nell instead of Lex Luthor and work with Lana to restore it with her working for them as a waitress instead of as a co-owner like in the show.

This is set during season 2's 'Ryan'.

Summary: Not long after Mr. Murado makes young Ryan an offer, an acceptance of said offer is had.

"I take it you're gonna take me up on my offer, kid?"

"Y-Yeah, I… I don't wanna die, Mr. Murado. I want to be able to live and stay with the Kents." Replied one Ryan James with a sniffle as Mr. Murado came up to him as his red glowing eyes faded to their normal color.

Ryan James had long thought about the offer made to him by Mr. Murado, the co-owner of the Talon of Smallville, Kansas. One that could change his life forever if he was to accept. Said offer even possibly saving him but also possibly not as it had a 50 percent chance of working if his body accepted what Mr. Murado was offering. Which was a Bite from him to turn him into a bonafide Werewolf like the older man. Mr. Murado, or rather, a time displaced Scott McCall, gave the kid a sympathetic look and hoped like Hell this would work for him. Even if it did have the strong potential to be rough on him should his body accept the Bite. And if it did work, Scott would hopefully be able to implement an idea of his where Ryan's telepathy is concerned.

That is, if his contact was able to come through for him that is. And he had a feeling said contact would do so as he hadn't failed yet. Over the years, Scott had Bitten exactly 7 people while he and Kira tried their best to stay away from certain key moments of history. Even if it had been rough as can be on the two since there was a number of things they would have loved to change but knew that doing so could probably cause problems. His and Kira's Pack also lived in Smallville as well and despite some of the oddness it had, it was definitely a peaceful place to live. In addition to the 7 people he had turned into Werewolves, others had come to join the Pack over the years. And not all of them Wolves either but of other Supernatural races.

Stepping up to the kid in the dead of night in one of the fields belonging to the Kents, a scene which would probably be creepy in the eyes of most other people, Scott placed his hand on Ryan's shoulder. "You're worried." Ryan told him knowingly with a small flinch.

The flinch being the result of his mind reading ability and the experiments on him making things more and more unpleasant for him as his final days came. Sure, the surgery had helped, but it had only been able to do so much. The ride on the hot air balloon really had been perhaps the most peaceful time Ryan had ever had and if this worked, he hoped he could get Clark to take him again. "Yeah, I am. Because if this works, Ryan, it will forever change your life. And that'll involve some dangers of its own."

"I can accept that, sir. Cause I know I'll have you and the Kents watching out for me." Assured the boy, making Scott smile.

"That's true, kid, that's really true. You'll have a whole Pack watchin' out for you."

"Now… You ready?"

Ryan nodded and Scott knelt down and raised his shirt sleeve up to where he intended to Bite wouldn't be as noticeable. He then looked at Ryan with a serious look on his face. "This will hurt, Ryan." Warned the Alpha seriously.

Earning a gulp in response before being told to go through with it. Scott nodded before Shifting and Bit him. A scream of pain came from Ryan as Scott's red eyes glowed brightly as fangs and teeth sank into Ryan's arm. The pain of the Bite nearly made the boy pass out but thankfully, it was over seconds later and Scott quickly wrapped his arm up. "You… You carried gauze on you?" He asked weakly.

"Yep. Figured it'd be a good idea for you so that way, nothing's too noticeable."

"Oh… Okay." Mumbled the boy as Scott finished his work.

"Now, let's get you back to the Kents before they discover you aren't in bed."

Ryan was a little nervous at that and thankfully, the Kents wouldn't have a clue about what happened that night or about his Bite. Thankfully, the Bite would be accepted by his body and in turn, it would prevent him from dying as it would heal the damage in his mind. Greatly surprising everyone by this miracle but making everyone extremely happy in the process. The Kents quickly ensured he was a bonafide Kent through adoption much to his and Clark's happiness and the Murado Pack would have a brand new Pack member in the process. Which would bring about the next great challenge in trying to encourage Clark to stop being on the side lines so to speak where Lana was concerned.

Even if Scott and Kira hadn't exactly had a clue as to why he was so hesitant and the like aside from the weird smell they got from him. Scott could have made Ryan tell him but he was never that kind of Alpha and he didn't want to destroy the trust he had with his newest Beta. Figuring it was just best to wait until Clark himself felt ready enough to talk about his great secret.

Author's Notes: Hope folks enjoyed! I had started to think of either using Malia or Cora for this instead of Kira, but I don't think the Murado thing would have worked quite as well.
