Supper
Disclaimer: I've been sitting on this idea (or, well, having it in the back of my head anyway) for a long while now and thought I'd finally write it out.
Summary: A little reflection between two people in a land not truly their own. Or something close to reflection anyway.
"Sup is soon and you're not even dressed." Commented a deep male voice.
One filled not with judgment but concern. The cause of his concern, a beautiful young Blonde woman, let out a sigh as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, a brush laid almost forgotten near it. "I know… Its just… I got to thinking again."
"About our old homes?" The male questioned gently.
The young woman turned to him and nodded. The male let out a sigh as he knelt down in front of her and took her hands in his. "Erica, I'd be lying if I said I didn't ever think about Beacon Hills myself, but I think its just time we finally accepted the fact we never are gonna get back."
Erica, known fully as Erica Reyes and one of the few Derek Hale had Bitten after becoming an Alpha, just sniffled. "Its… Its just we've been here for almost two years and part of me still hopes that either we're gonna make it back or that this has all just been a dream, Vernon."
Granted, a dream she wasn't sure if she wanted to wake up from or not given that just prior to arriving in the land of Caleef via some kind of weird portal, she and Vernon Boyd The 4th had been surrounded by a group of Alphas who clearly meant them harm until that portal swallowed them up and spat them out in a forrested part of Caleef. And that hadn't necessarily been the easiest of things either given the language barrier that existed for her and Vernon with the locals they had ended up meeting. Sure, the Mage had been able to cast a spell that allowed easier communication but it wasn't able to last forever. Making it so that they had to learn the slow and occasionally hard way. And as she and Vernon would learn, the land of Caleef was home to the Kingdom of Be'Hill, ruled by its Queen, Meli'Sa.
A fair and just woman with a healing touch. Seeing the woman had greatly stunned Erica given her likeness to one Nurse Melissa McCall. Though Scott was no where to be found, long believed to be dead after a terrible war that saw the Moon Kingdom burn in a fiery blaze a number of years ago thanks to the unkind wrath of the Silver Faction. Erica felt Vernon wrap her up in a hug and she cried against him. Grateful once again for his support and love for her.
Author's Notes: Glad I FINALLY got that out of my head. Dunno if I'm ever gonna do more with it but its up for grabs if anyone wants to make it more then just a teaser. But of course, let me know you're doing it!
