Troublesome Concern

Part 2

Disclaimer: Is it really me!? Yes, yes it is!

Summary: Things really aren't going the way Deucalion thought they would when he brought in his son. And he's definitely not pleased about that one bit.

"I think it to be stating the obvious when I say I am not happy with the way things have gone since I had you come here, Cromus." Deucalion declared icily.

Cromus smirked at the man in front of him, whom was actually on his knees staring up at him with his vision restored thanks to a very much dead Darach courtesy of Cromus himself. "Yeah? Well, you shoulda expected it considerin' why I left your sorry ass to begin with. Oh, and kidnapping my kid!"

Not to mention being an idiot to underestimate him as well! Deucalion having Cromus come to Beacon Hills had been meant to be a stop gap measure to ensure he had the upper hand in order to force Talia Hale and the others to his way of doing things. And it looked like that was going to be the way of things but the Demon Wolf had unfortunately underestimated his son and his bunch after Cromus had put him at a standstill. Effectively keeping him from making any more moves, something that only increased once Cromus had gotten his kid back from the blind bastard thanks in part to some inside work that Cromus long had in the works where Deucalion and his bunch was concerned. "And so what now, son? You're already an Alpha so killing me won't make you one. Thusly, wasting my power in the end. Will you allow one of yours to take it for themselves? Or perhaps one of the fools who live here in Beacon Hills?"

"I had hoped you could see reason, Deucalion." Threw in a disappointed Talia.

This got her a scoff from her old friend, showing her what he clearly thought of that. "Ending you and your Power is the safest alternative. For I fear anyone who inherits yours would only become as twisted as you." Satomi Ito added.

"Oh spare me the bleeding heart sentiments, Ito."

"You know, Argent actually gave me one of his more special bullets and I think I know just what to do with that little gift." Spoke up Cromus as he stared hard at his 'father' with his gun being held steadily.

Of course the legendary Hunter had practically shoved it into his hands and ordered him to shoot Deucalion as soon as he got the chance. Chris may be a little more tolerant of the Supernatural than what his wife and father was, but that tolerance only went so far when his own father gets torn to pieces by the Demon Wolf. Along with his only daughter ending up in the hospital with a broken arm by one of Deucalion's Wolves when she'd been defending some kids from the bastard. "Do you think you can really do it then, Cromus? Can you take your own father's life? I know you've done quite a bit, my boy, but I don't think you can do that."

A loud bang was heard seconds later and Deucalion fell to the ground with a hole in his head. "Guess you thought wrong, asshole." Sneered Cromus as he put his gun away and oddly feeling a sense of peace sweep through him with the man's death.

"So, now what?" Asked Talia after a short period of silence.

"We go on with our lives and re-build from the chaos Deucalion left in his wake." Satomi said.

"And I go see one of mine in the hospital as that boy went the distance."

And after that? Cromus didn't know as while he wanted to head back to homebase, something about Beacon Hills made him want to stay as it felt kind of like home for him. Which was just weird for the man all around.
