Dancing Hale

Disclaimer: Clips of the 'Step Up' films inspired this.

Summary: Cora's always had a passion for Dance.

For as long as Cora Hale could remember, she had a passion for Dancing. Initially starting out in Ballet as a child and gradually going from there. It'd also become her refuge of sorts when the Hale Fire happened and she'd had to go into hiding just to be on the safe side. The Dancing allowed her to take her mind off things in the years after the Fire and when the Alpha Pack kidnapped her, it had helped to some degree. She'd also managed to keep Erica Reyes from doing something foolish like attacking the members of the Alpha Pack and potentially getting herself killed in the process by teaching her to dance. This had made things a little difficult when her brother, his Beta, and some others he knew like the Argents of all damn things, had chased after her, Vernon, and Erica after they got freed from that damned bank vault. And when she had rested up from that ordeal and gradually came to know the others surrounding her brother, Cora continued to Dance as it still helped her out a great deal in dealing with things.

Her passion for Dancing had made Derek happy as it was a reminder of the times before the Fire as he wasn't sure what he would've done if that wasn't still a thing in her life. Cora would even incorporate Dancing into her fighting skills to help throw off anyone she fought. Now it didn't necessarily work considering she only had started doing it where the Alphas are concerned but it would be something she would keep doing. And when all was said and done and Scott 'The Kid' McCall had become a True Alpha of all things in the aftermath of the defeat of the Alpha Pack and the Darach, Cora decided to stay in Beacon Hills. Not because of a boy or anything like that, but rather that she didn't want to leave again. Regardless of bad memories and used the argument that with the Argents and those like Scott around, she'd be safe there. That, and she didn't want to go on the road with her Brother and Uncle for whatever it was they were needing to do. And thanks to her sticking around, she'd rope the others, though mostly the girls, into getting in on the fun of Dancing while also finding a Dance Class to get involved with.

Making for an over all, happy Cora Hale, regardless of this or that threat that came and went to the town.

Author's Notes: I probably could've done more but I think this works. Plus, I didn't want to go a predictable route of involving romance. Also had the weird but fun idea of Cora and Kira being a thing recently that I may explore at some point.
