"So given what happened, we're on the lookout for these villains," Sensei explained in class right before the end of semester. "And we've had to cancel our usual accommodations at the last minute. We won't reveal our actual destination until the day we depart."

"HUH?!" everyone exclaimed.

"But I already told my parents!" cried Sero.

"That's precisely the point," Yaoyorozu explained to him. "The school can't control who learns what or how."

"As long as we're not canceling the whole trip altogether!" said Ashido.

Over in their corner, Bakugou growled at Midoriya, "You, broken bones or not, you should've killed him."

"Come on, Bakugou!" Hagakure reprimanded him. "Didn't you hear how it was for Midoriya?! Besides, using quirks in a public place is totally illegal."

"Do I care?!" he snapped back. "Just break those freaking bones."

"Kacchan…" muttered Midoriya.

In his own way though, that was a bit like a compliment…

But just like that, the curtain closed on our action packed first semester. And after only a few weeks of summer break, it was finally time.

First Day of Training Camp.

We were all lined up in the early morning sun outside the buses that were to take Class A and B to camp. Monoma, the Class B boy with a grudge against our class, appeared at once to gloat.

"What? Some Class A kids are getting extra lessons? That means some of you failed!? Huh? How weird is that? You're supposed to be so much better, and now this? Wow!"

Kendo appeared as if from nowhere to slap him, and turning to us, said "Sorry about him."

"Monoma's scary," said a Class B girl near her.

"We don't resent you for all that Sports Festival stuff," said another B girl with lizard teeth. "Glad to be working with you Class A."

"Class A's bus is this way!" Iida called us to attention. "Please line up in order."

Soon enough we were all on the bus; I was seated with Aoyama, so the ride was noisy and flashy.

"Let's have some music! Something summery, some tube songs!"

"YOU SHOULD BE SEATED!"

"Now way, nothing beats Carol's end of the summer in summertime. But it's not the end!"

"Let's play the I spy game! I spy a BANK!"

"I spy money in the bank!" , etc.

We stopped about an hour in at a dusty rest stop in the mountains to get out and stretch.

"Hold on, what kind of rest stop is this?" asked Sero.

"Right? and where's Class B?"

"Of course, we stopped here for a reason," said Sensei.

"Heya, Eraser!" chirped a female voice none of us recognized.

"Sorry. Haven't seen you in a while," he replied.

"ROCK ON WITH THESE SPARKLING GAZESS!"

"STUNNINGLY CUTE AND CATLIKE!"

"WE'RE THE WILD, WILD PUSSYCATS!"

Two women in miniskirts, high heeled furry boots, giant paw gloves, midriff tops and headpieces like ears were posing as kittens in front of us.

"These are the pro heroes who'll be helping us out this time. The pussycats," explained Sensei.

"They're a four member hero team who all work under a single agency!" came Midoriya's predictable fancying. "This veteran team specializes in mountain rescue operations! They've been in business 12 years now -"

The blonde jumped over time and clapped a paw over his face. "We're 18 at heart."

"This whole area here is our territory," explained the brunette. She pointed to somewhere deep in the forest. "Your lodging is at the foot of that mountain over there."

"So far away!"

"Huh?" said Uraraka. "Then why'd we stop halfway?"

"Uh oh," cried Sato. "Let's get back to the bus!" called Sero, starting to sweat. "Hurry!"

"It's now 930 AM," smiled the brunette, starting to look sinister. "I'm thinking around noon, at the earliest?"

"Aw, crud, no way!" groaned Kirishima.

"Run!" called Ashido.

"Back to the bus, quick!" Kirishima called as we all turned to run all out back to our way of escape.

"Kitties who don't make it there by 12:30 won't get any lunch!" smirked the blonde.

"Sorry kids," we heard Sensei as the ground beneath our feet erupted, like a landslide dragging us all over the cliff and onto the ground. "The training's already begun."

"This is our private territory," called the brunette. "So feel free to use your quirks. You've got three hours to reach the facility on foot. Make it through the beast's forest."

"The beasts forest?" cried Midoriya.

"Seriously, it's like a name straight outta dragon quest," Muttered Kaminari.

"No point complaining, we'd better start moving along.

From the trees we heard a scream. Minute had run off and encountered a giant screaming monster!

"AN ACTUAL BEAST?!" cried Kami and SEro.

"Calm yourself, creature!" Kodak called out next to me. "Please back down!"

But the beast hadn't stopped.

It seemed it was a dirt clod being controlled by one of the cats.

With that in mind, it seemed we had no choice but to jump in - and fight this thing head on.

Myself, Midoriya, Iida and Bakugou jumped into action.

5:30 PM.

All of us exhausted and worn down, aching and in excrutiating pain, had finally arrived at the training camp building - a big multilayered facility with small wooden tables outside. Sensei and the two pro heroes were waiting for us.

"Only take three hours? Yeah right," mumbled Sero.

"So hungry, gonna die," cried out Kirishima.

"Sorry, that's how quick we would've made it," bragged one of the cats.

"Flaunting the power gap in our faces," moaned Sato. "That's cruel."

"Mew mew mew," said the blond. "We actually thought it'd take you longer. But you dealt with my beast pretty easily too. Not bad. Especially you four," she pointed at Midoriya, Bakugou, Iida and me. "I'm guessing your past experiences allowed you to act without hesitation. Gonna have fun three years from now!" she added, running up to us and swiping as if to seize us.

"You didn't tell me she was like that," said Aizawa worriedly.

The brunette said "She's at the age to take a mate."

"Speaking of people's ages," Midoriya began. The blond grabbed his face again. "Choose your next words carefully.

"I've been wondering," he said, pointing to a little boy I hadn't noticed before. "Who's that?"

"Oh, he's actually my nephew," explained the brunette. "Kota! Come over and say hello. You'll be spending a week with these guys after all."

Midoriya leaned in to smile at the kid. "Hi, I'm Midoriya. Nice to meetcha!"

The brat punched him in the balls.

Iida ran to his side. "You brute of a child. Why'd you do that?"

"I can't abide jerks who wanna be heroes," snarled the brat.

"Abide?! how old are you, kid?"

"Cute kid," smirked Baukgou.

I gave him a glance. "You two are a lot alike."

"A lot alike? Buzz off! I don't wanna hear anything outta you, Mr Threw the match!" he screamed at me.

"Sorry," I muttered. To myself, I thought, So much alike.

Sensei pointed us to the cabin. "Enough of this. Go get your luggage from the bus. Drop your things off in your rooms, then come to dinner in the mess hall. After that, you'll bathe, then it's bedtime. The real training starts tomorrow. Now hurry up."

Thankfully, as if to make up for the exhausting day, our dinner was delicious. Then, after dinner, we all went to the hot springs to relax.

As I was walking in, however, everyone's eyes were drawn to Mineta, who seemed to be trying to invade the girls' side of the camp. To peep at the girls in our class.

"Stop that at once, Mineta!" Iida reprimanded him. "What you're considering would bring shame to both yourself and our female classmates!"

"So strict," he gloated, then began climbing the wall. Fortunately, the boy named Kota was positioned atop the wall - unfortunately, he pushed Mineta back off it and he landed on poor Iida's face.

Still, we had time to relax, and go to sleep all together as a class. It was startling, really, being surrounded by so many students the same age as me.

The next morning we were hauled out of bed at 530 AM for training. Sensei was waiting for us.

"Today the real training camp begins. Ideally, you will all emerge stronger, strong enough to acquire your provisional licenses. More specifically, there' s a growing hostile force out there. Through this, you'll be prepared to face it. So stay sharp and work hard. To start - here, Bakugou. Try throwing this."

"This is from the strength tests," Bakugou murmured.

"Last time, right after school started, your record was 705.2 meters. How much have you grown since then?"

"Oh, we're testing to see if we've improved!" said Ashido.

"We've been through a lot these past three months! I bet he can make it a whole kilometer!" cried Sero.

"Throw that sucker, Bakugou!" Kirishima cheered.

He did as they suggested and blasted it sky high screaming "GO TO HELL!"

"709.6 meters," Sensei reported.

"Huh? That's not much farther than before."

"Yes, you have been through a lot these past three months," Sensei informed us. Undoubtedly, you've all grown. But it's only your techniques and minds that have matured. And your bodies a bit. But as you've all just seen your quirks haven't kept up with the pace. Starting today, you'll improve on your quirks. This'll be so harsh you'll wish you were dead, so do your best to stay alive."
