Her clothing consisted of a red sweeter with yellow cuffs, a matching yellow scarf, a skirt that matched her hair and scales along with black leggings and red boots she was carrying a brown shoulder bag that contained food, a sketch book, paints and a deerfox named Twig she was taller than most eleven-year-olds her name was Hilda.
Hilda: Hahaha.
She quickly flies down to the river and dips the tip of her wings into the water a water spirit appears next to her and she waves happily at it she then flies up above the clouds and lands on a large woff, Twig sticks his head out of the bag Hilda picks him up and holds him in her claws.
Hilda: Isn't this the life Twig fresh open space magical creatures all around.
She jumps off the woff and unfolds her wings flying in the air she sees something that catches her eye and flew towards it she lands gently on the ground and places Twig down she grabs her notebook a jar of grey paint and some black ink.
Hilda: Would you look at this Twig it's a troll rock I've never seen one this close before they don't usually come here due to lack of caves.
Twig: (Growl)
Hilda: Don't worry Twig if anything tries to hurt us then I'll do this (inhales)
She exhales causing a mixture of magic and flame to come out of her mouth as blue flame with slight green tint at some of the edges.
Hilda: Now let's eat.
Twig walks up to her and sits down Hilda joins him in sitting and takes out a cucumber sandwich for her and small piece of meat for Twig she opens the her note book and the two jars she places the note book on the ground and dips her tail into the ink and starts drawing.
Later
Hilda has fallen asleep a dull blue smoke leaking out of her mouth wings wrapped around herself and her tail wrapped gently around Twig keeping him close to her body an insect flies onto Twigs nose waking him up he then nudges his guardian waking her up she yawns and throws the hair out of her face reveling a pair of frills in the place of ears, they flutter as she yawns and a puff of smoke escapes her mouth.
Hilda: Oh, we stayed out to long.
They then heard stone cracking and turned to see the troll awakening she grabs twig and put him into her bag she flies into the air only to fall in pain when she hears a ringing sound causing her to clutch her ear frills in pain, the troll dose the same thing only it seems to move towards the sound much to her confusion until she saw it. A baby troll with a bell tied around its nose clutching its head.
Hilda: Who would do something like that to a baby!
Hilda gathered her will and walked towards the shivering child and clutched the bell with her clawed hand crushing everyone relaxes with the ringing gone and she unties the string the baby troll hugs her and she returns the hug
Hilda: Aw your welcome but now I have to go.
She lets the baby go and flies away to return home Twig pokes his head out of the bag and looks at her she looks back.
Hilda: No wonder they were out here they couldn't stay with other trolls due to the bell they must have been in so much pain hope they can go home now.
They soon arrive home to see Johanna waiting outside.
Johanna: Did you have fun you two.
Hilda: Oh yes mum I did some flying saw some spirits rested on a woff and drew a troll rock.
Johanna: A troll rock, out her?
Hilda: I was surprised to.
Johanna: Well then let's go inside its getting cold.
Hilda and Johanna both sit down and drink some tea they hear knock on the door and turn to see wood man open it holding a log and a book.
Wood Man: Hello I brought fire wood for the fire.
He places the log in the fire and sits down to read his book Hilda files above him to get a look she sees that it has travel information about a place called Trolberg the Wood Man gets up and walks away leaving out the front door Hilda flies back to the couch she looks at her mother.
Hilda: Um mum?
Johanna: Yes sweetie.
Hilda: What's Trolberg?
Johanna spits up the tea a little bit before regaining her composure
Johanna: Why do you ask sweetie.
Hilda: Wood Man was reading a book about it.
Johanna: Oh, Trolberg is the city I grew up in it was a nice place at first but some bad people made it dangerous those bad people are all gone and the city has gotten better but I still worry sometimes.
Hilda: Oh.
They then heard a knock on the door Johanna gets up and opens it she looks around and sees a tiny note on the floor she picks it up and brings it inside.
Johanna: Hilda dear do you think you can read this.
Hilda: Sure mum
Hilda picks up the paper and looks I over she frowns.
Hilda: Its another tiny threat letter.
Johanna: Again, they wont even tell why they want us to leave its just annoying at this point come on let's play a game.
We then cut to the three asleep on the couch Johanna hugging her child while Hilda wraps her tail around her mum and Twig, they wake up when they hear tiny footsteps.
Johanna: (Groan)
Hilda: Huh?
Twig: (Whimper)
They then see a bunch of different objects get knocked over fall to the ground Johanna grabs a broom while Hilda and Twig bare their claws and fangs.
Johanna: Get out you little pest.
She swings her broom with extreme precision knocking the invisible people away from herself and their possessions
Twig: (Bark bark)
Twig manages to chase after them with great precision due to his heightened senses.
Hilda: (Growl) Get out now!
Hilda who at this point is really crossed with the intruders stamps her clawed foot down where ever she can detect them small blue flames whisp out of her mouth, as the final one leaves Johanna looks around and sighs.
Johanna: If this keeps up, we may have to move.
Hilda's wings, tail and ear frills spring out in shock.
Hilda: What but where would we go
Johanna: most likely Trolberg.
Hilda: But I wouldn't fit in look at me!
She stretches out all her inhuman parts.
Hilda: No one would want to be near me.
Johanna: Oh sweetie, one half dragon or not people will love you for you because your kind and brave and two you and I both know you have the power to embrace one of your half's to temporarily become either a full dragon or human know go get some sleep tomorrow will be new day.
Hilda: Well, I'm going to send them a strongly worded letter since that's the only way that these… what are they exactly.
Johanna: Their called elves Hilda.
Hilda: Thank you.
She grabs a piece of paper an envelope and a inkwell and starts writing.
Later in Hilda's room Hilda is woken up by a small voice calling her name.
Alfur: Psst pst
Hilda: Uh who's their…ahh!
She trips on her own tail and falls off the bed Twig looks down at his guardian laying on the floor with her wings wrapped in the blanket.
Alfur: Oh, my are you okay?
Twig: (Whimper)
Hilda: I'm okay… wait a second.
She takes the blanket off her wings and spreads them out small flames escape from her mouth.
Hilda: (Hissing) Your one of those elves what are you doing in my room?!
Her ear frills open up wider trying to locate the elf by his voice
Alfur: I'm sorry for breaking in but I read your letter and I want to help you.
This causes her to relax her wings and swallow her flames.
Hilda: (Gulp) okay but how is this going to work when I can't even see you?
Alfur: No need to worry about that I have prepared a contract in advance and took the liberty of filling it out you just have to sign your name.
She looks at her desk to see a tiny pile of tiny paper she looks over it before taking one of her clawed hands and dips the tip into an inkwell and then writes her name down.
Hilda: So, what now?
Alfur: Look down
She looks to see a tiny creature covered with white fur and wearing red clothes with stick like limbs.
Alfur: Hello.
Hilda: Hi… so you're an elf.
Alfur: Yep
Hilda: Your Fluffier than I thought.
Alfur: Why thank you I take pride in my personnel hygiene.
Hilda: So how do we do this?
Alfur: Well, we should probably discuss the situation of your home.
She lowers her head so that one of her eyes was leveled with the elf Alfur could see a ring of glowing blue fire decorating the edge of her iris.
Hilda: Tell me why do you want us to move out this home is owned by my family and nothing will change that.
Alfur: Well, you see this house was built on elf land so our new prime minister promised that if we chose him, he would remove you.
Hilda raises her head and calmly breathes in and out causing small flames to flicker out of her mouth.
Hilda: So how do I get him to stop?
Alfur: Well first you would have to ask the mayor.
Hilda: And where is he?
Alfur: Bring me to the window and I'll show you.
Hilda picks him up and brings him to the window when she looks out, she can see many tiny houses scattered out across the yard.
Hilda: Wow.
Alfur: see that castle like building?
Hilda: Yes.
Alfur: That's the mayor's office I can arrange a meeting for you.
Hilda: Thank you.
Alfur: I should go now but I'll tell you after I set it up.
Hilda: Yah I should be sleeping thanks for the help.
She sets him on to the ground.
Alfur: No problem.
He leaves and Hilda lays herself onto her bed Twig lays himself next to her and her tail wraps around him wings draped over body and blanket draped over wing eyes closing as she drifts of to sleep.
(Meanwhile in Johanna's room)
Johanna was sharpening her old sword sparks come off the enchanted Damascus steel blade it's magic keeping its shape until the whetstone cuts clean in two, she sighs and puts her sword into the stand and walks towards the painting on the wall she remembers painting it a picture of her love in dragon form she cries.
Johanna: I wish you were here I'm scared of what I'll do if I have to go back even if the knights are gone what will are daughter do? She should make friends with others but she's scared of being rejected I found the chest you left and I read the spell book but even so if she can't master the spell then.
She sits on her bed crying she looks at the chest under the painting decorated with the symbol of a golden and two glowing blue eyes.
