Interlude: Acacia Aurora Woods
"Vulna. The Nation of Honor. The Water and Dark Guardians made a solemn vow to preserve the peace of this nation and its citizens. Over the course of a century and a half the two Guardians guided Vulna in establishing their place in the world, and its unique culture.
Eventually, with Dust being discovered in large quantites at the beginning of Vastel's golden age and the Water Guardian teaching them to harness the power within the crystals, Vulna saw massive growth in many major fields.
In time, Vulna became an industrial nation that housed ports established by the Water Guardian. The people revered the Water Guardian, and to thank her for all she had done for them, they named her 'Ocean Princess of Vulna'.
Happy with the love her people had given her, the Water Guardian wanted to share that love with the Dark Guardian. However, the people grew weary of a guardian of his status watching over them. Their perception of the dark ended with the Dark Guardian being associated with those with ill intent. Little did they know that the two Guardians had been equal in the help given to Vulna and its people; the only difference was that the Water Guardian was the face of Guardian help while the Dark Guardian worked behind the scenes.
While she advanced and aided the mortals under the light of the sun, the Dark Guardian protected the mortals from being led astray. The Water Guardian did not know what evils her friend faced, but she wanted to face those evils with him. And for her ultimate goal, she wanted to unite the Guardians to guide the world to prosperity and keep it there. And when everyone was happy, she would be happy…or so she hoped.
Unfortunately, her somewhat naive wish met a bitter end. One hundred years later, when Humanity and Faunus kind began their wars, Father Vastel tasked the Guardians to put an end to the conflicts before Vastel fell. However, one by one, her beloved fellow Guardians were betrayed one after the other by the mortals they trusted. The Ice Guardian was slain by the people under her protection, causing the Wind Guardian to abandon them. The Earth and Thunder Guardians went missing from their respective regions and were never found again. And the Light and Dark Guardian..."

~~Vulna the Nation of Honor: Wayfields~~
~~May 14th (Saturday Evening)~~
~~One Year before the Alisen Indicent~~
Wayfields. A small city nested at the borders between Vulna and Staneia. On nights such as this, the streets are quiet save for the wind rustling the leaves. However, tonight would be different: the sharp retort of a gunshot rang out through the street.
Inside a small department store, a late-night robbery had taken place. Five bandits occupied the store: one was stationed outside the entrance while the other four took hostages and pinned them against a corner.
Their leader, a male Faunus in a tan suit, held the cashier at gunpoint.
The cashier with her hands as high in the air as she could muster, pleaded. "I-I don't want any trouble! P-Please! Take whatever you want!"
"Shh..." The leader said as he played around with his gun, spinning it around in his hand, "Just taking the money and leaving? Where would be the fun in that? I'm not some cold-hearted crook, you know? I'm the businessman of a wealthy medical company... Imagine that, a businessman turning to rob a department store. Isn't that hilarious?" As the man began to let out a laugh, the cashier also laughed with him but out of fear for her own life. Annoyed, the bandit shouted. "Who told you to laugh at my misfortune, huh?!" He pointed the gun at the ceiling and fired the gun.
Outside, at the alleyway next to the store, a teenage boy with spiky orange hair leaned up against the store wall. Hearing the sounds of shouting and gunfire, the boy let out a sigh. "Another idiot who loves to waste bullets." He then took out a walkie-talkie. "Acacia, we got four of them. One at the front, the other at the counter, and two in the back. I'll go up to the rooftop and drop in once you get inside."
Meanwhile, a teenage girl with bright, orange hair slowly made her way across the empty streets of Wayfields, aware that the residents have yet to rush out of their homes. "Alright, Hyacinth."
Her hair, tied up in a ponytail with a lilac ribbon, extending to her back, was thick and messy with a mix of curls and waves. Her fringes rested on both sides of her face at the same length as the rest of her hair. Grey headphones played music in her ears.
The teenager, Acacia, approached the front of the store, which a bandit was guarding. She had her eyes closed as she hummed the melody of the music she listened to.
"Store's closed, girly." said the bandit that stood between her and the store. "Beat it."
Acacia opened her round, dark green eyes and looked up at the bandit, showing him her oval face with dark freckles, soft curves, and gentle angles.
The bandit examined her top to bottom. She wore a lilac dress that reaches the knee, form-fitting around the torso but loose and flowy from the waist down, with a jewel neckline with no sleeves. A wide dark iron gray belt covers her waist with three straps with silver belt buckles. The top buckle depicts a waxing moon crescent, the middle a full moon, and the bottom and waning moon crescent. She also wore an open, lavender-colored hooded vest with two dark iron gray lines running down the back. Near the middle, they run diagonally down outwards and then run diagonally down inwards, before running down straight again. The parallel lines create a large diamond shape, without either side touching. Beneath her dress, she wore lavender running shorts that go to mid-thigh, a pair of lilac socks that stop just above the knee, dark, iron-gray ballet flats, lavender arm warmers that stop just above the elbow, a pair of greaves covering her shins, knee guards, and matching pauldrons over her shoulders.
The girl before him tilted her head, looking confused. "I'm sorry. Did you say something just now?"
"I said, store's closed." The bandit repeated.
"Huh, doesn't look that way to me." Acacia looked over at the lights in the store before glancing back at the bandit. "I was hungry for some triple chocolate chip muffins and this store sells the best ones."
"Do I look like I care? Last warning: get lost."
Watching the bandit flash his pistol resting in his pocket at her in an attempt to intimidate her, Acacia let out a sigh. "Alright, I'll be right on my..." She trailed off as she placed her hands on her abdomen and leaned downward.
"Huh?" The bandit raised an eyebrow as he leaned closer to check what is happening to her.
Acacia smirked. In a flash, her right hand had grabbed an iron gray tonfa with lilac blades near the rear head. They were resting behind her back, unknown to the bandit whose arm she struck with the blunt end, causing him to scream in pain before she covered his mouth with her left hand and land a knee strike in his abdomen, knocking the wind out of him. As he stumbled and fell to his knees, Acacia took out a second tonfa with her left hand and knocked the bandit out.
"I love it when they don't see Pressure Grove coming," Acacia said, satisfied that she pulled off the knockout.
Inside the department store, the bandit leader let out a sigh and asked the cashier, "If I'm being honest, I'm all new to this sort of robbery. I was once an honest worker of Vulna...until some woman bought out the company and fired me and several of my coworkers. You'd think I would get some compensation when they laid me off, but that woman's more obsessed with her bottom line than even you can imagine, I tell you. Heh, I doubt you even believe me."
"Robert! What are you doing, talking to her?! Just get the money!" Shouted one of the bandits at the back.
"Ah shut up!" Robert shouted, "The folks here don't have any hunters or police. We don't need to worry about the authorities."
That was when the orange-haired girl entered the department store with her headphones back on her head listening to music.
Robert's eyes widened. He didn't know how she'd gotten past his man at the door. Maybe he'd left for some reason, but there wasn't a scratch on her, meaning that one way or another, there hadn't been a fight. Pointing his gun at her, he yelled, "Hey! What the hell are you doing here? How did you even get in here?!"
Acacia didn't listen to him as she walked over to the aisle edge and looked over the items placed on the shelves.
"Hey!" Robert shouted, getting annoyed at the girl ignoring him. He grunted as he walked up to her and pointed his gun at her head. "Headphones! Off! Now!"
Acacia picked up a cone-shaped object with orange stripes and turned to the man. "Ah, just in time, Mister." She put down her gray headphones and showed him the cone-shaped object, which turned out to be a small confetti cannon, "I need some help here. How do you use this thing?"
Theme Song: 'Black Rover' (Black Clover)
Party decorations blasted into Robert's face, making him raise his hand to defend from the glitter and confetti. Before he could recover from the shock, Acacia took out her tonfa's and knocked the gun out of his hands, and proceeded to perform consecutive strikes on his chest.
"What the?!" the bandits took notice of what was going on and proceeded to rush to the front.
Acacia knocked Robert into a coffee machine. She then activated the machine, letting the scalding hot coffee pour onto his face. It wasn't long until she saw two bandits, pointing their guns at her. She smiled as she held her tonfas up in a defensive stance.
"Fire!" A bandit shouted as they both shot bullets at Acacia.
Acacia's tonfas became surrounded by a blue aura. Her dark green eyes glowed as she created two water clones that each deflected the bullets.
"Wh-what in the hell?!" A bandit shouted, his eyes widened.
"What are those things?" Another asked.
"Keep shooting! Whatever they are, they can't stop high-speed bullets!"
The bandits continued their volley of bullets at Acacia and her water clones. As her clones deflected the bullets successfully, Acacia transformed her tonfa's into a pair of handguns and aimed at the bandits. And with two precise shots she knocked their guns out of their hands. The force of having their guns blown off their grip caused the bones of their hands to break, the pain made the bandits scream out in pain.
Acacia closed the distance while transforming her weapon back into their tonfa mode and landed a swift hit on both bandit's abdomens with the blunt end of Pressure Grove, causing them to stumble into the dessert shelves and knocking all of the products down before losing consciousness due to the sheer impact of Acacia's recent attack.
A muffin flew into the air but Acacia caught it in her hand and made a quick glance at it, and she smiled as it was her favorite: triple chocolate chip. She turned to the cashier. "Sorry for the trouble! You mind putting my muffin on their tabs?" She gestured to the crooks on the floor.
"O-oh, sure." The cashier said, breathing a sigh of relief as she set Acacia's order in front of her and went to call the authorities.
However, as Acacia took a bite of her muffin, she noticed another bandit exiting the bathroom.
"Ah, that took way too long..." The bandit muttered before he noticed what had occurred in the room.
"Another one?" Acacia muttered.
The remaining bandit's eyes widened as he quickly took one of the nearby hostages, a girl who decided to shop there at the wrong time, he held her at gunpoint. "Not another move! Or I'll blow her brains out!"
"No! Please! I don't want to die!" screamed the female hostage.
Acacia slowly raised her hands. "Relax. There's no need to do anything rash."
"I don't know how you did all this, girlie, but I'm not taking chances!" Shouted the bandit, "Drop your weapons!"
"Alright...just don't hurt the girl." Acacia slowly dropped her tonfas. "Just a question...you didn't happen to turn the bathroom lights off when you left, did you?"
The bandit raised an eyebrow, "No? Why?"
A moment passed as Acacia smirked and picked her tonfas back up.
The bandit pressed the gun up against the hostage girl's head, "Did you forget what I just said? I'll kill her! I mean it!"
"I know you can." Acacia said, "But...can you?"
"You think this is a joke?! Fine!" As the bandit tried to pull the trigger on his gun, he couldn't. His eyes widened, "Wh-what?! I...I..." His hands began shaking. His brain is trying to send waves to his body, but it was no longer responding. "I can't move my body!"
Acacia let out a smirk as she took the hostage away from the bandit. "Took you long enough, Hyacinth."
Behind the bandit was the orange-haired teenager, Hyacinth, lurking in the shadows with his foot resting on the bandit's shadow. "Sorry, Sis. The vents were a bit more complicated than I expected." And with a motion of his hands he forced the bandit to drop his gun and kick it away.
"I told you not to eat those pocky sticks before we came here." Acacia giggled as she noticed a group of soldiers wearing knight armor surround the building. "Ah, here comes the cavalry."
Once the commotion had simmered down Acacia and her brother, Hyacinth, turned the bandits over to the Vulna Knights.
Acacia and Hyacinth sat on the other end of the street watching as the knights placed the bandits into the prisoner trucks.
Hyacinth sighed, taking a bite of his new pocky stick, "Another night, another robbery. There's been a lot of those lately, hasn't there?"
"I'm starting to notice that too." Acacia took a bite of her chocolate muffin. "And I could have sworn I've seen those bandits apprehended on the news a few years back."
"You sure you're not just imagining it?"
Acacia didn't answer. She pondered on whether or not this is just her imagination playing tricks on her, but deep down she knows not to ignore her gut feelings.
"There you are." A female voice called.
Acacia and Hyacinth turned over to see a female knight with blonde hair and dark green eyes approaching them.
Hyacinth's expression turned sour. "Time for another lecture..."
Acacia waved to the woman as she finished her muffin, "Hey Mom!"
"Don't 'hey' me, young woman." Acacia's mother, Lillian Woods, said as she placed her hands on her hips. "You mind explaining to me what you two were doing out this late? Certainly notmerely for some snacks."
Hyacinth leaned in to whisper to Acacia. "I told you we should have explained things to her before we left."
"As if she would have let us go out," Acacia whispered back.
"I can hear you, you know," Lillian said, tapping her finger on her armor.
"Oh, Mom. You'll grow wrinkles on your gorgeous face if you keep up that stern look." Acacia casually said as she hopped to her feet to face her mother with a smile. "We took care of the bandits with no casualties. No need to thank us. Hyacinth and I were doing our duty to Wayfields and her citizens."
Lillian let out a sigh. "Every night you two do this, your father grows another silver hair. You two are going home, and we'll continue our discussion once I finish up here."
"But Mom..." Acacia was about to protest, but Hyacinth placed a hand on her shoulder. She looked back at her brother, seeing him shake his head. Letting out a sigh, Acacia chose to obey and returned home with her brother.
~~Woods Residence~~
~~One Hour Later~~
Acacia and Hyacinth sat on the living room couch across from their mother and their father, an orange-haired man wearing glasses over his light blue eyes. In stark contrast to his wife, who kept her stern glare on her two children, the father had a warm smile as his soft eyes remain glued to the book he was reading.
Acacia cleared her throat to break the suffocating silence. "So...how long are we going to keep this staring contest going, Mom?"
"I'm not sure." Lillian replied, "How long are you two going to keep playing hero?"
"Come now, Lillian, the kids are helping our fellow neighbors, just…not with conventional methods." said the father, not taking his eyes off his book, "I know worrying comes naturally to you, but I think there is no need."
"Aster..." Lillian knew that her husband would side with Acacia and Hyacinth on any occasion; especially when it came to taking responsibility.
"See? Dad agrees!" Acacia said.
Lillian sighed. "You need to back me up here, Aster. Sure they can handle a couple of armed thugs..."
"Five, just to reiterate," Acacia said.
Lillian continued. "But what if next time they go up against more than just disgruntled former employees? Or hell, more experienced ones who know what they're doing?"
"Is that not what the Vulna Knights are for, Lillian?" Aster asked, looking at his wife. "With Vulna being the most industrialized nation, the Vulna Knights are more capable of dealing with threats than most other nations. Add that with the blessing of a lack of Grimm attacks to our lovely city, and it should be no surprise that our kids are facing only bandits."
"Yeah, but I don't think we would mind going up against a Beowulf or two." Acacia said with a confident smile, "Anything to help protect our home."
Lillian looked back at her children. "Neither of you two seem to understand the weight of your actions. While I and many of my knight comrades are somehwat grateful to you and your brother for helping us with our arrests...there is a reason I have been so against allowing you two to help."
"A reason?" Hyacinth asked.
"Ah, I bet she's referring to the balance of powers between the military and hunters," Aster said, "You two are not aware of this, but despite the impressive strength hunters have with their dust affinity and weapons, they are not granted the authority to carry out certain actions as the military and law enforcement can. One of them being the authority to make arrests."
"Wait, really?" Acacia asked in shock.
"There are other restrictions placed upon hunters by the government, but that is the main one every hunter needs to know," Lillian explained.
"Is there a particular reason why such a restriction exists?" Hyacinth asked.
"There could be a multitude of reasons, or any combination of them." Aster closed his book and placed it on the table, "A common-sense reason would be to prevent hunters from becoming too powerful for humanity or Faunus to control."
"Hold on, so if we arrested those bandits..." Acacia whispered.
"You would have become a hunter drunk on power, and you'd become a criminal right then and there for impersonation of a law enforcement officer," Aster said with a sinister smile.
Lillian let out a giggle at the slightly freaked-out reaction from Acacia. "Relax, Acacia. Your father's just kidding."
Aster let out a chuckle. "You should have let it sit in their heads longer, Lillian."
"The real reason is to make sure hunters don't run around bashing someone's skull in over parking in a handicapped zone. Plus, hunters have better things to worry about than bandits and robberies."
"Oh...I see," Acacia said.
"That's why I wanted to warn you two," Lillian said, "I didn't want you to be out there making arrests and getting the government involved. You can still help people in the city, but..."
"Hm, that doesn't sit right with me," Acacia said, trailing off in thought.
"That means we can't be going out to beat up robbers and thieves," Hyacinth said, "Not without the authority to do so."
"I know it sounds like a weird world to live in," Lillian said, "Have you two considered joining the Vulna Knights? I may be against putting you two in danger, but it would be cruel of me to deny you both the chance to do what you do best and seem to love doing. Properly."
"I have thought about that, but for some reason, needing a badge to help people doesn't feel right to me," Acacia said, "I want to help people because I want to."
"That's an admirable desire, Acacia," Aster said, "But the rules and laws are there for a reason. Have you two considered becoming hunters?"
"Huh? Hunters?" Acacia had never thought of such a concept.
"Really?! We can become hunters?!" Hyacinth jumped up from the couch wearing a wide smile, "Please say yes! I would do anything to be a hunter!"
"Calm down, Hyacinth. You'd have to get a recommendation from a hunter first," Aster said, turning to Lillian, "Isn't that right, dear?"
Lillian's eyes widened as she snapped in Aster's direction. "Honey, please don't tell me you're suggesting I call her."
"I am. I'm sure Miss Chandani won't mind measuring these two."
"Wait, are you talking about Miss Aoife?" Acacia said, "If she's the one we need to prove ourselves to, I'm confident we can pull it off."
Lillian sat in silence thinking about whether she should allow her own children to be hunters. She let out a sigh. "You two love Wayfields that much? Are you both willing to put your lives on the line for our city?"
"Without hesitation!" Hyacinth proudly answered.
"Vastel's enemies are Wayfields's enemies," Acacia said, "As hunters, we'll do everything in our power to protect our home."
Lillian looked over to Aster, who smiled at his children. She also mimicked the smile with her own as she stood up from her chair, "Then I'll give Miss Chandani a call. Hopefully, she's not too busy."
A moment passed as Lillian called Oroseia Academy. After a brief conversation, she returned to the couch.
"So?" Acacia asked in anticipation.
"Miss Chandani will meet you at Chandani Sweets next Friday," Lillian said.
"Awesome. We'll prepare to meet her expectations until then!" Hyacinth cheered.
"Thanks, Mom. You're the best," Acacia said then turned to face Hyacinth, "Hyacinth, let's go out for some exercises tomorrow."
"Sounds like a plan."
Their parents watched as Acacia and Hyacinth headed to their rooms.
"I hope they don't get into trouble," Lillian said.
"I'm every bit as concerned as you are, Lillian, but even if we didn't allow them to follow their dreams, they would find a way to do it without our permission," Aster said, "Trying to hold this door closed only delays the inevitable. Would it not be more suitable to allow our children to explore what's behind it?"
Lillian let out a smile. "There you go again with your poetic analogies, and as usual, you make another fair point."

~~Chandani Sweets~~
~~May 20th (Friday Noon)~~
~~Six Days Later~~
Acacia and Hyacinth both went to one of the popular bakeries in Wayfields, Chandani Sweets. Inside, they see an old lady behind the counter.
The old lady heard the doorbell ring and looked up to the Woods siblings with a smile, "Ah, if it isn't Acacia and Hyacinth. Are you here to order your usuals?"
"I wish, Miss Ainea, but we're here to meet up with an Aoife?" Acacia asked, unsure of what relationship the old lady has with this Aoife.
"Ah, I thought it was odd when Aoife suddenly stopped by my shop today," Ainea said as she turned to the kitchen, "Aoife, my usual customers are here to see you!"
"Just a second~!" A female voice called back.
A few seconds later, Aoife walked out of the kitchen wearing a pink bakery outfit with an apron. Her face is covered in flowers and sugar. "Ah, Leelee's kids. Acacia and Hyacinth, right?"
"Leelee?" Hyacinth asked.
"That's us," Acacia said, "I guess you're Miss Aoife?"
Aoife nodded as she turned to her mother, "I'll go over to talk with these two, Mom. Is that alright?"
"It's no trouble at all," Ainea said with a smile.
With her mother's permission, Aoife took Acacia and Hyacinth to a table.
"Okie, since this is our first time meeting, I'm going to ask if you two are okay with nicknames," Aoife said.
Hyacinth's eyebrows raised. "Nicknames?"
"Mmhm!" Aoife nodded. "Let's see..." She looked over to Acacia, "Acacia...Acy...Acacy? No, sounds off. Cialy?"
"You can call me Acy," Acacia said, "I guess you do this with everyone you meet?"
"Only if I'm friends with them," Aoife said, turning to Hyacinth, "Hmm..."
"I'd...rather you not give me a nickname, please," Hyacinth said.
"Teehee, the only way you'll make me not call you by my nickname for you is if you beat me in a fight, Hyacy?"
Hyacinth let out a sigh, already feeling annoyed at his awful nickname.
"Anyways, I heard from your mother you two want to be hunters, am I right?" Aoife asked.
"That's right," Acacia said, "She told us we would need a recommendation from a hunter and she pointed to you."
"And she was right to do so," Aoife said, "I heard about what you two have been doing on the news. Just the two of you against two bandits. You're not normal kids, that much is certain."
Hyacinth let out a smile, "We were trained by the top members of the Vulna Knights. Eventually, we studied about fighting tactics of hunters."
"Is that so? Does that mean you have an elemental affinity?" Aoife asked.
"Elemental affinity?" Acacia asked.
"Yes, every being in Vastel is said to have an elemental affinity with the regions they are born in. No one knows why this phenomenon occurs, but most speculate it is linked to the Guardians. My affinity is Water because I was born in Vulna." Aoife created a bubble in her hand. "It should be the same for you two if you were born here. I'm guessing it's either Water or Darkness."
Hyacinth's eyes widened. "Whoa, you guessed it right. I'm able to do stuff with people's shadows while Acacia can make water clones. I never thought of it beyond that."
"Water clones and shadow manipulation?" Aoife asked, "Skills like that don't grow on trees, and not everyone can activate their elemental affinity so easily if they are not a hunter."
"Does that mean the two of us are special?" Acacia asked.
"I wouldn't go that far, but you two certainly are not the regular kind, if you get my meaning." Aoife smiled as she took out a letter of recommendation. "Since both of you are considering becoming hunters, I don't think there's a harm in letting you both attend Oroseia Academy."
"Oh, heck yes!" Hyacinth reached for the letter, but Aoife quickly pulled it back.
The red-haired woman gave the two a serious glare, "But I need to warn you two. The life of a hunter isn't like the children's books you read lead you to believe. If you say you are willing to lay down your life for Vastel, you need to mean it. Understand that there will be no turning back if you become a hunter. You both could even die on the first day; and if that happens, all the comfort you get is knowing that you weren't the first, and certainly won't be the last."
Hyacinth felt a wave of nervousness hit him as the once energetic woman was now warning them about their possible death.
Acacia, although also shaking a little at the menacing stare Aoife gave, looked into her amber eyes and placed her hand on the handbook. "If my death can save the life of even one defenseless person, I will gladly make the sacrifice."
"Acacia." Hyacinth looked over at his sister. Seeing the look of unwavering determination on her face helped calm his nerves. He looked down at the recommendation letter, smiled, and placed his hand on it as well, "Nothing is uncertain in our future, I know, but that doesn't mean I'll back away from a chance to help people. I'm ready for whatever the hunter's life has to throw at us."
Aoife stared at both of them with a serious expression before she, in a snap of a finger, returned to her happy smile. She slid the letter of recommendation over and took her hand off, "Then come to Oroseia Academy next year in August. We would be happy to have you both as students!"
"Thank you, Miss Chandani!" Acacia said.
"Oh, no need to be formal, Acy," Aoife said, "I'm looking forward to having either of you two as my students. If it were up to me, I would pick..." She stopped.
"You would pick...?" Hyacinth asked, hoping she would continue.
"Teehee, that's for me to know." Aoife stood up from her seat,
"Anyways, I need to get back to helping my dear mother. I look forward to seeing you two next year~!"
As Aoife returned to the bakery kitchen, Acacia and Hyacinth both began reading the handbook, learning about the entrance exam and what is to be expected of new students.
"We have a year to do this, Sis," Hyacinth said, "Think we can pull it off?"
Acacia smiled and answered, "I know we can pull it off, Hyacinth. Let's work our butts off until then!"
In her mind, Acacia couldn't help but feel ecstatic about the opportunity. Protecting her home has always been her passion and she has the chance to become stronger. Her confidence is at an all-time high now and she is not going to give up that confidence as long as she lives.

Jurabi: Back at it once again! Hello, everyone! I hope you enjoyed Acacia's interlude chapter. Let's get to know her better.
Acacia is both friendly and slightly reserved, happy to talk but not about herself, at least nothing in-depth if she can help it. A bit mysterious and a bit cryptic, it can be very hard to get a straight answer out of her, especially when she's purposefully trying to stall or redirect a conversation so she either doesn't have to answer something or simply divert/distract someone's attention for whatever reason. Also she likes to do that just for kicks, talking someone in circles and confusing them is remarkably fun. A bit of a shit-stirrer, certainly a smartass, with plenty of sass and sarcasm to go around, friend or foe, though she tends to be more snarky and vicious to those she doesn't like. Acacia is the sort that likes getting into trouble, but hates getting caught in it. She also hates getting dragged into other peoples drama... unless it's dangerous or fun, and even if it's not, sometimes she will get involved because it's for a friend/she owes someone.
So in other words, Acacia is more chaotic than she might appear. For a long while, I felt like I was struggling to get her character right, but now I feel like I managed to nail it home. With that, we are half-way done with the interlude's.
