A/N: Thanks for the reviews, PMs, follows and favorites for this one. Much appreciated.
I know it's been two months since the last update, and some of you may have to reread the earlier chapters before starting on this one; I'm sorry about that.
Beta thanks go to MarkeyDeSad who had to work with me on this chapter, to make Chuck seem stronger than in my first attempt. If that worked, thank him, if not, blame me.
After the events of the last chapter, Chuck and Sarah were faced with what to do about Shaw and Hannah. Beckman has ideas. I don't think either Chuck or Sarah is prepared for this.
From Paris, With Love
Chapter 4: Seduction
Sarah stormed out of Casey's apartment. Chuck tried to stop her, but she eluded him. "Not now, Chuck," she muttered as she pushed past him. Chuck knew exactly how she felt, and felt it just as much, but he could see the reason for Beckman's order.
An amused grunt sounded behind Chuck, who turned to see the older man lean back into his chair. "Not what either of you want, but it is the best way."
Chuck was torn between discussing this further with Casey and running to catch up with his very pissed off girlfriend. The latter won, and he turned to go.
"Look out for her, Bartowski," Casey added. Chuck nodded and ran out of the apartment. He guessed she would be heading for her car. He just hoped he got to it before she drove off.
Sarah was sitting in the driver's seat when he got there, with her head in her hands. He approached her, cautiously, and tapped on the window. "Can we talk about it?"
She looked up at him. She already felt bad about how she had behaved at Casey's. She pointed to the passenger seat, so he walked around the car and got in. He dropped down into the seat and tried to collect his thoughts on what to say.
Sarah, however, spoke before he could, "I can't believe she wants either of us to do this."
He huffed. "It makes sense, just doesn't fit with our real relationship."
She placed her palm against his cheek. "We'll also have to explain it to Ellie, Devon and Morgan."
He hadn't thought about that. On top of the dangerous situation that they were about to put themselves into, now they also had to make it believable to these perceptive people. God, he thought that now he and Sarah were in a real relationship, the lying would significantly decrease, but he had never expected to have a fake breakup with the beautiful blonde sitting next to him. The more he thought about it, the bleaker it looked.
"Ellie will never believe it," he stated flatly. He looked at his girlfriend. "How could she? She's seen how much I'm in love with you."
She smiled for the first time that morning. In a soft voice, she said, "We've never actually said we love each other, Chuck."
He clasped her hands. "But we do, don't we?"
She nodded her head and leaned over the center console to kiss him; a lingering kiss that neither wanted to end. However, they needed to focus, so she pulled away, breaking the spell.
"We'll have to tell her that we've had arguments, bad disagreements and you're not staying with me anymore." She looked at him. "And you will have to stay away from the hotel."
He knew she was right, but the thought of not being with her hurt. "I'm not sleeping with Hannah," he declared, before looking away.
She took his head in her hands, pulled it back to make him look at her and said, very carefully, "Neither of us is sleeping with anyone else, Chuck. I definitely don't even want those slimy hand near me, but may have to do that, but nothing more." She kissed him hard to emphasize her point.
Sarah reflected back on the briefing.
Hearing that Chuck needed to play along with Hannah's wants had really upset both of them. It was exactly what they wanted to avoid. Sarah had no idea what this Ring agent had planned. Would she try to rape Chuck? The general dismissing their concerns with the comment that Casey would 'keep an eye on things' was just bullshit.
Then being told that Shaw was staying longer was the next blow, and bad enough in itself, but then being told that she needed to 'encourage' his attention was what had made Sarah so angry. To have to do that to 'draw him out and find out his intentions' disgusted her. Not only that, she worried about how Chuck would react to seeing her with Shaw, in any way, remembering how he felt when Bryce was around her, and Cole, too.
All she wanted was for these two unwanted people to just disappear so that she and Chuck could just enjoy being with each other.
Knowing that their time was about to be disrupted, she did up her seat belt and told him to do the same. Then, she turned on the ignition. "Hold on, partner," she commented before accelerating off. They would have to go to Castle in an hour's time, but that still left enough time for one last quickie in Maison23.
Chuck knew exactly what Sarah had planned and just thinking of making love to her lightened his mood. this may have to be quick, but he knew they would each savor every second of it.
Spending the whole day apart was going to be really hard. Chuck just desperately wanted Sarah to come over to the Buy More or for him to have a reason to head over to Castle, but they both had to play their parts.
He'd only been at the desk for an hour before Hannah had sidled up and asked, "No blonde bimbo today?"
Inwardly he bristled at her choice of words. No one could be further from a bimbo than Sarah Walker. However, he had the script in his head that he and Sarah had agreed, after an amazing time in her bed before driving to work. "We've split up." Even saying it hurt.
He looked sad, which was easy because he was, not because what he said was real, but because he and Sarah couldn't be together again until after they had achieved Beckman's mission objective, whatever that was.
Hannah responded instantly. It was as if his words were the trigger for her to come to life. "Want to go for a coffee to talk about it?"
He pretended to be too absorbed in self-pity to hear her. "Feel like everyone is looking at me, pityingly in the break room."
"Let's go to the coffee shop, then." Hannah's words were what he needed, getting her away from the others and to see what she did somewhere else, but it still felt like cheating on Sarah and he hated that thought. However, he 'reluctantly' agreed and stepped round the desk.
Casey looked at him and nodded, acknowledging that Chuck was heading out with Hannah. "Just a quick coffee," Chuck told him as he passed.
After collecting their coffees Chuck and Hannah sat. He was finding it relatively easy to appear despondent, seeing as how he was going to Ellie and Devon's apartment tonight and wouldn't be seeing Sarah at all. Yeah, pretty despondent. However, showing an interest in Hannah was going to be difficult.
"Breakups are hard," Hannah informed him.
He almost choked on his coffee as she said that; he knew it only too well. "Yeah," he muttered.
"Best thing to do is get right back out there and try to forget," she offered.
He was curious. He wasn't sure her suggestion, if it worked and he went with her, how would it achieve any Ring goals, or was it just to help Shaw's aim to get together with Sarah. Were they wrong about Hannah? Was she just a civilian wanting to be with him? Then, he remembered the mask she had in the museum.
"Is that what you do in these situations, Hannah?" he asked.
She nodded emphatically. "I do."
He hated it, but had to feed her the line, "Not sure anyone would be interested in me."
And there it was. Her cool hand placed over his wrist. He looked up into sympathetic, but interested eye. "Maybe someone closer than you think, Chuck."
He felt a tightening in his gut. He knew the quicker he got on with this, the quicker it would be over, but he just couldn't right now. It felt awful doing it when all he wanted was Sarah in his arms again, like earlier. But it also would be completely out of character for Chuck Bartowski to end one relationship and start another on the same day. He completely ignored when he had done exactly that when he started going out with Lou. He shook his head. "Thank you, Hannah. You know how to help someone who's hurting, but I can't talk about this right now. It's just too new, you know?"
He saw a flash of anger in her eyes, then the sympathy reappeared. "Sure, Chuck. Remember I'm here for you, when you're ready."
He looked down at his latte and took another sip. It was hot, but he had no difficulty drinking it. He then pushed it away and stood. "Thanks for the coffee, Hannah." He turned and walked out of the place, knowing he'd be berated for his failure, but he didn't care at that moment.
He walked back into the Buy More and Casey raised an eyebrow at him. Chuck shook his head and got a scowl back.
For the rest of the day, Hannah kept coming to him and asking how he was feeling. To be honest it was getting creepy. Chuck had never had a stalker before, but now sympathized with those that had.
By mid-afternoon, Casey had obviously had enough. He spotted Chuck heading toward the restroom and slipped in before him. A quick scan confirmed it was empty.
When Chuck walked in, unfocussed, Casey grabbed him, pinning him to the wall. "What the fuck are you doing, Bartowski?"
Chuck had half expected something like this, just not as brutal. "I can't do it, Casey," he confessed.
Casey leaned close and growled into Chuck's ear. "That's fine if you never want to get your paws on Walker ever again. Think about that, moron." Casey released him and walked out of the restroom.
Chuck slid to the floor. Casey was right. He and Sarah had no chance of getting back together unless he did this.
After finishing in there, Chuck stepped out with renewed determination. He would seduce Hannah.
Shaw had not been in Castle when Sarah arrived. It was a relief. She knew she had to do this, but the whole thing galled her. Why couldn't they use the material they already had to get Shaw out of their hair?
She got on with her other work, but occasionally watched the feed from the Buy More. Consequently, she saw Chuck and Hannah leave. Looking at the cameras covering the parking lot, they walked over to the coffee shop and entered.
She huffed. Chuck was progressing his assignment whereas she was just sitting on her ass achieving nothing.
She was surprised when Chuck left the coffee shop with Hannah trailing after him, not looking happy. She also saw Chuck's slight shake of his head to Casey. He obviously did not get a date! Part of her was overjoyed, but mostly she could see this separation lasting a long time and Chuck possibly getting hurt because she wasn't with him.
She tried to relax, saying to herself he could do this. He just needed to want it.
Mid-afternoon, she'd just looked up and watched Hannah approach him. The woman was obviously aware of his 'availability' but was then rebuffed by Sarah's wonderful, and ridiculously loyal, boyfriend.
She called Casey. "He's not getting anywhere, Casey. Help him."
"He's being a fucking idiot," the seasoned agent replied to her. "Gonna 'talk to him.'"
She watched the two of them walk into the men's restroom and then Casey walked out. It was a little while before Chuck followed. Sarah guessed that Casey had given him a piece of his mind.
Still no sign of Shaw, so she felt like she was wasting her time. She decided to call the general to find out what was going on. When the video link connected, the general looked harassed, but responded, "Agent Walker. Problems?"
"Do you know where Shaw is, General. I haven't seen him all day and wanted to talk to him." Beckman knew exactly what Sarah meant and sighed. "He has been here, Sarah. He arrived last night. Something is happening within the Ring and he was called over here." She paused. "I understand he will be returning overnight. You should hear from him tomorrow, if not earlier." She ended the call leaving Sarah reassured that she wouldn't be called out for failing to connect with Shaw. She looked back at the Buy More monitor. Chuck, however, would be in trouble if he didn't get his act together.
She watched him walk to the Ring agent just as she was finishing with a customer. Maybe this was it. Sarah felt the lump in her throat and looked away. It seemed that she couldn't watch this.
He was repeating his words mentally so he would make no more mistakes.
He approached her as her last customer walked away. She turned to see him, her face brightening. "Chuck?"
He recited the words he'd planned, "Hannah, I'm sorry I've been moping and being stupid all day. Probably being rude too. Can I make up for it by taking you out for dinner tonight?"
She beamed at him. "I'd love that."
"Greek alright?" It was Sarah's least favorite cuisine.
Hannah took no time to even think before replying, "Perfect."
He wondered if any and all cuisine would have received the same response. "Give me your address and I'll pick you up at…" he looked at his watch as if that would tell him the right time to pick Hannah up, "about 7?"
She nodded. "Sounds great!"
As he walked away, his nervousness was mounting. She was so eager, whether for herself, Shaw or for some nefarious Ring purpose, he felt that she was going to try to try to get him in bed that night.
Help me, Sarah!
At 5:30 pm, Chuck left to head home. Hannah had already left.
Casey caught him on the way out. "Don't screw this up, Bartowski." He then seemed to think, before adding, "Screw the Ring agent, but don't screw up the assignment."
"Thanks, Casey, really helpful," Chuck grumbled, turning and walking away.
He drove to the car park Sarah had texted him and waited. It wasn't long before her black Porsche pulled up alongside him.
They were, as planned, in an area beyond surveillance cameras. However, Sarah had no confidence that they couldn't be seen, so stayed in her car. Chuck started to get out of his, but she hissed at him through her open window. "Stay in there, Chuck."
He did and then explained the plan as far as it went.
Sarah bit her lower lip. She could see this ending with the Ring agent not only in bed with Chuck but overwhelming him in that bed. She knew he would struggle between doing the job and being faithful to her. He had done seduction missions, but this was very different. There was no clear goal in mind. Beckman had nothing she wanted to get from the woman other than a vague 'something' that could implicate her as a Ring agent. A seduction mission shouldn't end in sex or it had failed, but at what point could Chuck get the information he needed in order to then knock the woman out?
As she thought this about what he'd been asked to do, she realized her instructions were just as nebulous. Both of them could end up having sex with their mark and get nothing out of it but shame.
"Chuck, you will end up in bed with this woman. I can't see a way around that."
"I haven't before," he started, looking annoyed that she even suggested it.
This isn't like the seduction missions you've done before, Chuck. You had a goal then, something to get from them. You could also drug them and get away. If you don't have anything out of her, we'd have to keep her around and, in that case, you would have committed to her. Don't you see that?"
He hadn't considered this, but now did. "Shit!"
"Exactly," she replied.
They both sat in silence trying to think of a way forward. Sarah eventually said, "I think for tonight, we'll have to stall things. We need to discuss this with the general, but you'll have to progress things, but drug her, just this time, then you don't need to have sex with her."
"But you said drugging her wouldn't work here because we'll still have to work with her," Chuck pointed out.
"If she thinks she's had sex with you, she will think she's progressed her agenda. Then we discuss with the general how to proceed."
The look of relief on his face spurred Sarah on. "The contents of the sedative tablets you have will be essential here. Buy her drinks when you are out and add it to her last, as long as she doesn't see it. Make sure she drinks it and doesn't discard it. Appear to get drunk yourself. Then, when she is in your bed, find a reason to delay and only go to bed when she has passed out. The sedative will also cause her to forget the events of around thirty minutes before she's gone."
Her thoughts darkened. "She will need to wake up naked, Chuck. Either you strip her or call me over to do it. Whatever, you need to be out of the room before she wakes up or all that will be for nothing. She'll demand sex and you'll have no reason to withhold."
Chuck didn't like any of this. Sarah could see he was understandably struggling with all this. It was awful having to do what she said and then to sleep in the same bed with that woman. She wanted to help him as much as she could. She loved this man and just wanted to get him through this horror. She softly said, "Call me, Chuck, and I'll come over."
He saw the love, concern and care in her eyes and did appreciate it. "Thank you, Sarah."
She nodded and drove off, still hating what he'd been asked to do with no clear goal. Then thoughts of what she faced the following day crept back into her head. She had to work out how to avoid the fate she'd described for Chuck. She'd never had to have sex with anyone she didn't want before. How the hell did she manage it this time?
Chuck had no difficulty holding his liquor. It seemed as though Hannah was less capable. However, he was mindful that she could just be acting. She was however consuming a lot of booze. He kept an eye on her and not once did she try to discard her drinks.
Things had worked out differently at the start of the 'date'. She'd called and asked to drive to his place and they go from there in a taxi. She claimed that was because there were no available parking spots anywhere near her place due to a party in the next building. He had no idea if that was true, but went along with it.
He wanted her to be fairly drunk before giving her the dose and felt she wasn't when they left the restaurant and moved on to the club next door. He didn't spike her drinks there either, but by the time they left he was confident she was drunk.
Casey had provided him with information on the dosage, so he knew it would take about ten minutes for the dose to work, so planned this for a nightcap.
Hannah had been getting more and more handsy since they got to the club. It was why they'd left, in fact, getting a taxi back to his place.
Neither had questioned why she came into the apartment. Both with plans for what would happen there. She thought they were the same. Thankfully, Devon and Ellie were both at work that night.
She'd just knocked back her nightcap, and Chuck was slowly drinking his final beer as she went into the bathroom. He put his drink down, feeling nervous about the next steps. Adrenaline was flushing out the effects of the alcohol he'd consumed through the evening.
Hannah stepped out of the bathroom and beckoned to him so he knocked back his beer and walked to the bathroom himself, noticing she had just climbed into his bed in what looked like very sexy nightwear.
Once in the bathroom, he turned on the shower and called Sarah to head over.
He waited long enough to have had a shower, but just tipped his head in to get his hair wet and to then dry it with a towel.
Looking at his watch, he saw that eleven minutes had elapsed since she finished her drink.
He stepped out of the bathroom in his t-shirt and shorts and walked to the bedroom. Hannah was dead to the world. Just looking at her lying sprawled across the bed, dressed as she was, made Chuck desire his girlfriend so much more; if she were in here dressed like that, she wouldn't be wearing it for long. His woman, he had no desire to touch and was glad Sarah had offered to do so. He walked over to the window and unlatched it, lifting it slightly so that Sarah would know it was open.
However, he now saw that part of Sarah's plan was pointless. Hannah was going to wake on her own in the morning. So, there was no reason for him to have to sleep next to her overnight. Something to discuss with Sarah when she arrived. He went and sat on his chair and started to wonder what would happen the next day. He hoped it would all be easy because he was exhausted. He felt sleepy and hoped Sarah would arrive soon.
As Sarah pulled into the parking lot she saw a black van parked there. Her suspicions raised, she drove to the far side, in the dark area and switched off her lights and engine.
She couldn't call Chuck in case Hannah was still awake, so she called Casey. As soon as he answered it, she said, "Black van parked near the building."
Casey grunted and went to look at the surveillance cameras. "There's a spot where the cameras are out of action around there. My cameras in the courtyard are still on, though."
"I think Hannah has set a trap for Chuck," she snarled.
"Looks that way," Casey replied. "I'll call for backup, but they may take too long. Might be just the two of us. unless Bartowski is less drunk than he looked when he arrived. Mind you, with his aversion to guns, he might not be much help anyway."
Sarah ignored the slight on her boyfriend, just being focused on the current problem. "They'll need room for Chuck and probably Hannah in the back of the van, so I doubt there's more than five or six of them in there, if it's empty apart from them," she estimated.
Another grunt. "Easy,"
She chuckled. "If we take them at the van when they get out, you could take the side by the building and I'll take the other side. We could get them all before they react."
"It's a plan," he replied.
"Suppressors, though, Casey. Less chance of waking your neighbors." She was just screwing on hers, shaking her head, she so rarely used it. "Ping me when you're ready." She also took a tranquilizer gun from the passenger side. She smiled at that, Chuck's gun.
She then slipped out of the car and keeping low, headed closer. She stopped when she reached the end of the parked cars and dropped low, ready to shoot. She notified Casey and a few seconds later got the return notification.
Now they just needed to wait for the action. Crouched down like this was not comfortable, but Sarah had endured worse.
Five minutes later, the doors of the van opened. From Sarah's view point, she saw the driver get out and two people emerge from the back door. All easy targets. Two with bullets to the necks and the driver with a tranq dart to the neck and a bullet to one knee. All dropped silently to the ground. As she walked up, the driver, who had only dropped because of his knee and had been trying to get up, finally slumped down as the tranquilizer took effect.
Walking round the car, she found Casey standing by two dead men. "I'll call for the team to collect them and a cleanup crew. You go check on your boytoy and the woman."
"Driver's tranq'd for questioning," she replied.
As she rushed to get to Chuck's old window, she thought she didn't like Casey referring to Chuck as her boytoy or the mention of Hannah in the same breath, but at least he didn't call Hannah 'his new girl.'
Sarah got to the window and hissed for Chuck to come to her. There was no movement at all in the room, so she pushed the window up and climbed in. Turning on the light, she found Hannah dressed in far too reveling nightwear, slumped across the bed and Chuck, much more conservatively dressed in dark t-shirt and shorts, in his chair slumped forward. Sarah rushed to him, worried that Hannah had poisoned him. Thankfully, he was still breathing, but unconscious.
As she'd partly expected, after realizing it was a trap, he'd been drugged, which was ironic as that must have been Hannah dosing him at the same time as him doing the same to her.
Sarah called, Casey. "Both of them out for the count."
He chuckled. "He'll feel like shit when he recovers, but he won't have to worry about her again."
That was right. Hannah had actually made it easy for them. Sarah just hoped things would be as easy with Shaw.
Casey knew that Chuck would be relieved that he didn't have to introduce Hannah to his sister the next morning, as he'd expected to do. However, there was still the subject of Sarah and Daniel Shaw.
Casey was watching Sarah biting her lip as she paced his floor. He found he wanted to help her; she was, after all, the best partner he'd ever had. Watching her fraying at the edges like this was getting to him. He guessed Sarah hadn't talked to Chuck about Shaw, but had put all her effort into helping him with Hannah, or perhaps more importantly, making sure she was the only one having sex with him. He shook his head. These two were so obviously made for each other, even down to their clinginess and insecurities.
He looked down at the sleeping nerd on his couch. Even if Sarah had wanted to talk to him, she couldn't for a few hours.
He decided it was time to step out of his own comfort zone. "Walker, sit down."
She mumbled something about needing to pace, but he couldn't talk to her like that. He spoke louder, "Walker!" She stopped and looked his way. "Sit. Down."
She reluctantly sat, but was still on edge, so he started. "I know you and Bartowski are together." He took a deep breath. "And I know you helped him with…" He waved over at the apartment across the way. "… that. But I don't think he could take it if you slept with Shaw. No matter what Beckman thinks, both of these orders were wrong, but you and Shaw… that would kill your nerd."
He could hardly hear her as she replied, "I know."
He continued, "We need a better plan than you trying to seduce someone trying to do the same to you."
She looked exasperatedly at him and spoke louder, annoyance clear in her tone, "I know, John. I can't think of anything, though."
He pondered that for a while, then said, "We need to set a trap."
She looked sharply at him. "Do you have one in mind?"
He admitted, "Not yet, but let's work on it together while we don't have sleeping beauty involved."
Sarah liked the phrase, but didn't mention it. She started by explaining her view of the problem. "As you say, Chuck can't see me with Shaw. He wouldn't cope, but I am having difficulty planning this as I don't have a goal other than a vague 'prove he is compromised.' We know he is, but how does this 'getting closer to him' achieve that? And what will be the trigger to stop him, other than distaste?"
She huffed. "On a seduction, if you haven't got the target before they get too far, you tranq them or kill them and retrieve it. That doesn't work here, where I have no idea what I am after."
Casey could see the dilemma and was about to speak when she went into a complete spiral. "I'm worried that if I show he has a chance, how do I stop him? I'm worried he might come to my apartment and I wouldn't have an excuse to fight him off. Or he does it in Castle when you aren't there. Or-"
"Stop!" Casey's command cut through her spiral. "That's why we need a better plan. Or a particular goal from Beckman." He could see that last bit obviously appealed to her. "Let's call her."
She looked down at Chuck then up again, nodding.
Casey set up the video call.
"Progress?" was Beckman's first word.
Sarah sighed, knowing they should have reported this first. She and Casey described what had happened.
Beckman nodded. "Good. One down, although this woman must be kept from Shaw. Where is she being held?"
"Local NSA field office at the moment, General," Casey replied.
"Shaw may find out when he can't see her in the Buy More," the general pointed out.
"He never looks at the monitors, General," Sarah informed her.
Casey stepped in. "I suggest we take her away from Los Angeles quickly to an NSA site Shaw knows nothing about."
"Do it," Beckman replied. "And Shaw?"
"That's something we need to discuss, Ma'am," Casey chipped in.
Beckman looked his way. "Explain."
Casey took the lead on describing the problem with Shaw. Sarah was glad that he did.
Beckman eventually looked at Sarah. "You can't see how to avoid him having sex with you or what that itself would actually achieve," she summarized.
Sarah nodded. "I can't see a reason to justifiably stop him once he starts his attempts to 'win me', so to speak. If I allow him to start, all it would achieve would be for him to have 'his way with me' as the phrase goes." She paused for a second, then asked, "What are you hoping for? What insight are you hoping to gain and what evidence do you need to give that to you?" She huffed. "I am completely lost on this, General."
Beckman didn't have an immediate response, so Sarah felt the need to explain how she felt. This was new for her, she'd never done it before, but in the absence of a clear goal, she thought it might shape Beckman's thinking. "General, after Chuck gave us the antidote, I was still pretty much out of it. Chuck went to tend to Hannah, and Shaw, who recovered quicker, held me in his arms… stroking me." Sarah paused and shivered at that point. "I felt powerless to stop him. I've never felt less in control."
Beckman spoke then, "And you don't want to be in that situation again." It was a statement, not a question. "I'd not really thought this one through," she admitted. "We don't want to you in that situation, Sarah. Play him a different way. Act like you are unsure about a relationship. String him along. He doesn't know about you and Chuck does he?"
Beckman only called her Sarah on these sensitive topics, so she obviously knew how the two of them were taking it. So, why did she start us down this path?
Sarah got a handle on herself and replied, "No, so I could do what you are suggesting, but still don't know what we are trying to get from him."
Beckman glanced in Casey's direction. "Major, can we prove his obsession with his wife's killer with some false leads?"
Casey grinned. "Certainly, General. Is that enough?"
"Enough to show he lacks focus. And not suitable to work on this dedicated team," Beckman replied.
Sarah liked that. "And I'll string him along until he goes off. Would Casey follow him?"
Beckman grinned for the first time. "I'd expect him to."
At the end of the call, Sarah felt so much better.
"When Sleeping Beauty wakes, can you take him away? He's cluttering up my living room," Casey grumbled.
Sarah grinned. "Want to wake him with a kiss?" she teased.
Casey grunted. "I suspect even your kisses wouldn't wake him yet."
Sarah didn't either, but she needed something help her get over the tension. "Let's see." She knelt in front of Chuck and gave him a long kiss. He didn't respond at all, but somehow his lips on hers still felt good. The curse from behind her was good to.
She sat back on her legs and chuckled before settling into a chair to wait. As she sat there, she thought about the plan. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.
A/N: This replaces the very start of "Chuck Versus the Fake Name". More of that episode in the next chapter.
What do you think?
