At the Council Lori bedroom, the Councilor Loris were either applying their makeup or reading books.
"Is this your idea of fun?" Councilor Lori #100 said.
"Well, we could check up with the Councilor Lori that went to Carol Planet." Councilor Lori #12 said as she braided Councilor Lori #2's hair into a braided ponytail.
"We could..." Councilor Lori #2 shrugged, but suddenly, 2 Guard Loris entered the room, with a concerned and confused look on their faces.
"Guard Loris #193 and #201?" Councilor Lori #2 asks, confused. "What is it?"
"Lori #200 has arrived with more Loris." Guard Lori #193 said, worried.
"Yeah, so?" The Councilor Loris asks, shrugging nonchalantly.
"But they're not clones, they're as genuine as the original Lori, but from alternate realities." Guard Lori #201 said, rubbing her neck. This prompted the Councilor Loris to jump up in shock.
"But if they didn't come from the cloning machine," Councilor Lori #13 asks, confused. "How did they get here?!"
"Interdimensional travel..." Councilor Lori #1 said, rubbing her chin in thought. "I mean, it's a long shot, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was possible that some Loris came to this citadel via Portal Gun."
"Well, can we talk to them?" Councilor Lori #23 asks, worried.
"Perhaps it's best if wait for a moment. Let them get settled." Councilor Lori #2 said, concerned. "I mean, they're from alternate worlds, so let's let them stay with us for a while."
Lori #200 walked in, overhearing most of everything, saying, "Some of them could stay with me and Clone #2."
"What?" The Councilor Loris asks.
"Why not?" Lori #200 said, shrugging. "Just recently, a Young Lori clone just went into our room for last night."
"She must've gotten lost..." Councilor Lori #1 surprised by the remark. "How old did she look?"
"She was no older than 8, but according to Clone #2, she seemed really scared." Lori #200 said.
"We'll worry about that later, but these interdimensional Loris should be our main concern." Councilor Lori #90 said, waving it off. "We'll let them stay with us for the time being, but in terms of aging, should we have a potion that will stop them from aging past 18?"
"Let's discuss that with them first..." Lori #200 said, annoyed.
At the Taber Education Center, in one of the classrooms, the Child Loris and Young Loris were working on learning new things, when suddenly, a couple Loris were followed by all the Child Witch Loris, Child Lokis, and a Lori carrying a familiar Young Lori that's scared.
Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 said, "Why are we here?"
Lori #18423 replied, "A place where Loris learn, basically a school for the younger versions of us.
"Why are there more of us?" A Child Lori asks her teacher.
"The Citadel is making more clones. Some of them are witches and know magic." Lori #18423 smiled.
"Magic?" All the Child Loris said, eagerly.
"And some of the newest clones happen to be Male versions of Lori," Teacher Lori said as the Child Lokis entered the room, surprising some of the Child Loris.
"Boys?" Child Lori #36 asks, confused.
"We'll just stay here until class is over..." Child Witch Lori #39 said.
However, Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 was a little nervous as Lori #18423 placed her down on the ground, but the little one refused to let go of the pant leg. She was scared of what other Loris might think of her once they find out what Viltrumites are like. Sure, as far as she was concerned, they'd be okay with the Kryptonian part, but Viltrumites?
"It's okay, I'll be back to pick you up after class." Lori #18423 said.
"But I'm not comfortable here!" Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 pleaded.
"You'll do fine." Lori #18423 reassured her as she left. As the class was now full of Loris and Lokis, they all took their seats, Child Loki #1 sat next to Child Lori #36 and her group of Loris.
"So where are you guys in terms of class?" Child Loki #1 asks, curious.
"Right now, we're working on Mathematics." Child Lori #36 said.
"Multiplication." Nerdy Lori #9 said, adjusting her glasses.
"That shouldn't be too hard." Child Loki #1 said, chuckling. "I mean, what problem are we on?"
"Problem #12: ((63/9)*34)+193." Child Lori #36 replied, frustrated.
"Okay, that's going to be complicated..." Child Lori #1 said, surprised as he laughed.
At a table, some of the Child Loris and Lokis were surprised to see Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 sit by herself. Teacher Lori looked at this in concern as she walked over to Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1, worried as she said, "Don't you think you would be happier with some of the other Loris?"
Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 quietly said, "I prefer not to. I just want to get my math started."
"Sweetie, I think you should try to mingle with other Loris," Teacher Lori said, concerned.
"Not at the moment, I would just like to get some work done." Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 said. "I'll try to befriend them after class."
Teacher Lori was about to try one last time to convince her, but the quiet, hushed tone of her voice made it clear that she just wants to be left alone for now. Shaking her head, the teacher goes back to her desk as she looks over the notes for the next lecture.
Some of the other clones look on in concern. What could they do? They have no idea how the Viltrumite/Kryptonian Hybrid Loud clone feels, and no matter how many times they tried to talk to her, nothing seemed to work. So, they decided to leave her alone for now.
Child Lori #29 looked on in concern. She knew that the new clone must be lonely in this new world and felt like she had to do something.
At the Child Carol Base, it was now Young Lori #1's turn to hide as all the other Child Carols were to seek for her this time. She was hiding in another part of the jungle gym, covered in blankets. She then thought about how all the Carols were being nice to her, in her mind, was she too hard on Carol? That may be the case.
"These girls seem nice to me!" Young Lori #1 smiled. "Maybe I'm being unfair towards Carol."
"Carol, I think I saw her go this way!" Child Carol #23 was heard. The Child Carols entered the place, and saw a bunch of blankets in the area, with that in mind, the girls yanked the blankets away, revealing the Young Lori clone as she noticed.
"Dang it! I knew I shouldn't have brought all those blankets to help me hid." Young Lori #1 said, pouting.
"It was fun, right?" Child Carol #23 said, helping her up.
"I guess so." Young Lori #1 smiled as they walked towards the slide. "What was it like when you first came into this world?"
"Well, there was this cavern with water in it," Child Carol #100 said, adjusting her glasses. "The real Carol's DNA was placed into the water, some machine uses it to generate clones in the cavern's water, and it happens 24/7."
"That's unique!" Young Lori #1 said. "My Citadel has 7 different cloning bases that clone at least up to 2000 Loris a day. I found myself living with 2 older Loris. After I was created, I got lost in the Citadel until I found their room."
"It must've been sweet of them to let you stay with them." Child Carol said. The Loud Girl clone nodded back.
Curious, Young Lori #1 asks, "So what else do you do here?"
"We go to school, we play together." Child Carol smiled. "We even meet other Carols."
"For example, some of the scientist Carols just introduced us to a few Saiyan Carol Pinegrey clones from another dimension. They said in that Carol's world, Lori's family are Kryptonians and Viltrumites." A Child Carol said as they all slid down the slide, cheering all the way. "2 races of superpowered beings."
"Are there any friends that the Kryptonian/Viltrumite version of me had?" Young Lori #1 said, becoming more curious.
"Well, you did have Carol as a friend, alongside with Bobby, more or less Becky, and you knew other supers in that world, that version of you knew Rex Splode, Duplikate, and you would've taken a shine to Omni-Man and his son, he's..."
At the Council meeting, Scientist Lori #2949 grabbed the contactor and called the Council of Loris, hopefully they weren't too busy.
The contactor beeped as Councilor Lori #1 tiresomely asks, "Is anyone there?"
"Yes." Councilor Lori #13 replied in the other end. "What seems to be the trouble?"
"The Council of Carols would like to have a meeting with you." Lori #2 said. "Something about an alliance?"
"We've got our own problems, there's a new batch of Loris." Councilor Loris were heard.
"Clones?"
"No, Genuine Loris from different dimensions!"
"You're kidding!" Lori #2 said, stunned.
"No. There's an alternate universe version of Lori from 1930s, for example, I just saw her with a Lori from the 1990s talking about a horse adopting 3 orphaned children." Councilor Lori #24 replied.
"Look, if you'd like, we can go back to the Citadel while we look after the multiverse Loris." Lori #2 said, curious.
"That won't be necessary. You could stay for as long as you need." Councilor Lori #39 said. "We have some other Loris coming to see them. #12 and #16 after their visit to the Citadel of Lenis."
"Leni?" Lori #2 said, confused. "There's a Citadel full of Leni Clones?"
"Some of the other Loris were meeting them."
"Either way, can you come to the Planet of Carols as soon as you can?" Lori #2 said, curious.
"As you wish."
The contactor hung up as one of the Councilor Carols glanced at them, "You know, we've been getting Carols from different dimensions as well, they're in the Interdimensional Base. Would you like to meet them?"
"Well, sure." Lori #2 said.
"And while we're at it, can we see the ingredients to your cloning process liquid?" Scientist Lori #2949 said, adjusting her glasses.
"Very well." Councilor Carols said.
Scientist Lori #2949 whispered to Lori #2, "We'll talk about this idea I had for setting a good example for other Loris on the flight home."
"Really?" Lori #2 said, interested.
After class ended, some of the other clones approach her, wondering if everything will be alright. They all look at her with concerned expressions but say nothing.
Child Lori #29 just shook her head and walked up to the Viltrumite/Kryptonian Hybrid Loud clone as she said, "Hi."
"Um... hi." Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 said, awkwardly. She didn't expect company so she just walked with her as they started a conversation. "Is the place scary?"
"No. It's actually nice." Child Lori #29 giggled. "Most of us are friendly in fact. Why are you so afraid to be social?"
"Well, it's probably because I have powers beyond your imagination." Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 said.
"What kind of powers?" Child Lori asked, curious.
Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 told her. "I'm much more strong than I look, I can freeze people with a deep breath, and I can fly."
"Cool!" Child Lori #29 exclaimed. "Do you want to hang out with us at the Child Lori base?"
Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 was very surprised at the question. After thinking about it, Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Loud Clone shook her head, uncertain. "You probably wouldn't like me. Maybe I can play a game or two, but as long as it's a board game."
"C'mon, there's so much more we could do!" Child Lori #29 pleaded. "If you really don't like hanging out with us, then maybe there's another way for you to make friends..."
"Like what?" Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 asked, unsure. The more she talked with these children, the more she started to feel safer being around them. However, she still couldn't bring herself to tell them her secret, and why she's so afraid and ashamed of it. All these possibilities running through Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori's brain.
"We can hang out together." Child Lori #29 says confidently. "Let's start right now, you can come to our base whenever you want to."
"I'm not so sure." Young Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 whispered to herself.
"Come on! We'll give you a chance." Child Lori #29 grinned, encouraging her.
She sighed and nods in agreement to her offer.
At the Scientist Lori Base, all the Scientist Lori Clones were working on their seperate inventions and chemicals. Some were building devices for their own uses, and others were creating machines that would allow them to use those inventions without having to pay for it. A few had even created an android or two, with some of the Scientists being so curious as to why one such machine could be made.
Suddenly, a few clones came in, it was some of the Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori clones from earlier.
This surprised Scientist Lori #13 as she asked, "Are you the recent batch of clones?"
"Yes. Clones of a version of Lori that's half-Viltrumite, half-kryptonian." Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 smiled. "We're just here to visit, before we get settled in."
"Very well," Scientist Lori #14 replied, gesturing towards the room.
"And there might be resources around the universe worth using to your profit to help you and your allies across this universe." Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 brought up out of genuine interest.
"We've never planned that ahead," Scientist Lori #2 said, surprised. "But, if there is something I can do to help my fellow Loris, then I'm sure I'd be happy to take part in whatever you need us to make."
"If you could find any information relating to where the ressources are at, we would appreciate it," Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 added.
Science Lori nodded.
"I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can," she assured her guests. "But for now, we're trying to help a group of Lori Clones that are literal beings of fire."
As she started to leave the room with a watch with a dial on it, a Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #2 walked over to her and asked, "Is there a glitch in the cloning process? Are some Lori clones imperfections?"
"No. Infinite realities mean infinite possibilities." Scientist Lori #99 chuckled. However, by Sheer coincidence, they saw a scientist Lori with two heads, trying to walk into the laboratory. It was Scientist Lori #30 and #75, now coinjoined.
"What happened to her?" Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #29 asks as some of the Loris went to work.
"We ended up questioning a witch's magic." Scientist Lori #30 and #75 said, embarrassed.
Viltrumite/Kryptonian Lori #1 gave a knowing smile and left the room. She knew that some scientists were still busy, so she shouldn't waste their time. She was going to try to find out more about the cloning process, and the Citadel.
