Hey, cows! (Not an insult haha, it's just what I call the readers of this fic, thanks to the Discord server for clowning about that. XD) Here we are now with part two of Episode 1! I own nothing here except for Dimetrius and Dustin as everyone belongs to their respective owners.

I'm not too proud at the outcome of this chapter. Just a warning. XD

Enjoy!

Episode 1 Part 2: Neue Gesichter

"How fitting-" were the first two words that sent the second half of the episode into a threshold. "I thought you would just spill the beans and let them know they're rightful resting places, raven-haired one."

Chris could only roll his eyes at Dimetrius' antics. The voice certainly did not help him either way for the first day of the game. Sure they made a bet and all and Chris was supposed to be the one helping… this presence but nope, seemed as though he was already done.

"Well what are we supposed to do? It'd be boring if we just immediately send them onto their rooms- no action and all." Chris reasoned himself to the voice.

"If you say so short one," Dimetrius echoed. "As long as you are able and capable to do of what I would wish, I have faith in you."

"I am not that short-" Chris sighed, as he had no way to defend himself other than verbally. "Very well then. Be my absolute guest."

The Chevaliers were all inside the dining area as they thought that looking in there first would be the most ideal. The room was unusually long for a dining room, but considering how long the table is, that would be the case. The mahogany dining table was donned with a fresh white table cloth embroidered with blue that made it look exquisite.

There was also a cabinet for different silverware, as well as white and gold plates that could shatter if you drop them. And if you do… you might as well prepare to face the wraith of Dimetrius...

"Huh, I didn't expect this place to look so… spiffy." Tala nodded to herself, staring over towards the huge potted plant that was in the corner.

"Found something?" Foster asked the mathematician.

Tala snapped her gaze out of the plant before shaking her head. "Nope, not as of late."

Silence ensued among the rather large team but they all kept on looking for the key in order for them to complete their challenge.

"Allan thinks that there is no key in here." Gerald informed everyone.

"And who may be this Allan you are talking about, hmm?" Maelle asked him in the most polite way possible.

"...My friend! He's been with me for a long time. Sometimes, whatever his gut tells him, he says it to me and usually, he ends up being right." Gerald explained his side.

No one talked for a moment until Pandora ended the silence. "Well if that's the case, I'll go check on the hallways." She declared, making quick adjustments to her camera in case she has to snap a picture of something up in a jiffy.

"I'll try and see if I could find one on the other hall." Naka added, the Korean-Indian already exiting out of the dining hall, heading for the right corridor whilst Pandora headed for the left.

"I will stay here." Maelle announced as a matter of factly but with a small smile on her face to contrast her somewhat intimidating vibe. "I apologize, but I cannot be so sure if I should believe your… friend."

"That's alright. Me and Allan are gonna be looking for keys just outside the hall." He said, and without hesitation, he sauntered out of the dining area.

On the other side of the dining area, Tyler and Jeremy were looking just by the cupboards.

"Found anything?" asked Jeremy, who opened up a cupboard only to see several glass cups neatly placed in it.

"Nope… no luck." Tyler sighed.

Tyler (Chevaliers): He sighed again. "These kinds of challenges aren't really of my thing. Is there going to be a challenge where I get to show what I can do? Because if there isn't… I think I'm in big trouble."

Jeremy suddenly gasped, much to the surprise of the others around him.

"YOU GUYS!"

The team all heard him and came in rushing to where Jeremy and Tyler were at. The musical nerd was now seen holding a glass cup with a lid on it. Inside of it was a silver key.

"Aha, nice job! Looks like we got this one in the bag!" Tala laughed and cheered, the team exchanging wide grins with each other.

"Does it have to be inside the manor, though?" Jessica's voice was heard through one of the manor's backdoors, obviously putting even more emphasis at the inside more than any other word of her sentence. They were currently in the kitchen, somewhere not too far away from the dining hall where the Chevaliers were at.

Laila's face eventually fell with evident defeat written all over as she heard the Chevaliers erupted with cheers from the dining area. "Well what do you know, we are officially losing. As long as I do not have to be the one going in this luxurious property, I gues we all should be fine." She rolled her eyes as opened up a drawer from a kitchen cabinet, also to sneer at herself as she felt dust on her fingers.

"Oh come on, maybe the Lytsari team hasn't found anything yet." Eli said, hoping to at least enlighten up the moods of some as they were thinking that they were falling behind.

Fridge opened up a cabinet door and out came a pan. With a gasp of shock and almost little to no time to react at all, he swerved to his right, making way for the pan to fall into the floor with a loud clang that could even pierce your ears.

"Be careful-" Aditi winced, being closest to the fallen pan, it was true that she heard its crash the loudest.

"I'll try-" Fridge side as he closed the cabinet door, only to bust out its doorknob. He sighed in defeat, telling himself over and over to not touch anything anymore, or else it could give him big trouble. "Maybe I should just stick to looking for things using my eyes."

"Well, it's for the best." Hector nodded, moving his wheelchair towards them by putting much force on the wheels so that he wouldn't need the assistance of anybody. He sighed as he had a disadvantage of his own. Or better yet, everyone in his team had some sort of disadvantage.

Compared to everyone else present in the area, Laverne didn't looked too tensed up with the challenge. Best to save up for the future ones, she thought. Otherwise, she could've been… in some sort of predicament.

She searched through a cabinet where different mixing bowls were placed, primarily for cooking.

"Boom." Laverne laughed, seeing a small key just by one of the smaller mixing bowls.

"Found something?" asked Eli, who seemed to be ready to give up despite his optimistic vibe.

"Yes." Laverne responded, taking the key into her finger and spinning around it for a few seconds before securely clutching her fist with it. "All we need to do is to find whichever door this belongs too."

"Shouldn't be too hard." Jessica said with a smirk, proud at the fact that they could be finished at any moment now. "So, where do you think we should start first?"

"As long as we're getting a room that has zero speck of filth anywhere, then any is appreciated." Laila answered a matter of factly.

Jessica heaved a sigh. "Well, I wasn't talking to you, but okay. Let's just go on ahead. Come on, team."

An eerie silence was given by the Lytsari crew as pretty much no one dared to speak a single word at all. It seems to them that the more effective method was more looking, less talking.

"So are we literally just gonna search every single nook and cranny in every single room? Damn, you guys are so industrious in doing this crap." Wyonetta snided out sarcastically. Fatigue was already creeping up among the group soon and it didn't help that no one was making any suggestions as to make the search even faster.

Summer sighed as she placed her hands on her knees. "Guys, it's been forever. I have a feeling the other groups already found their keys and on their way to finding the rooms."

"Now would ypu like to think about this, though-" Sheldon began as he placed a finger on his chin. "Maybe only one of the three teams gets an extremely decent room while the other two teams sleep on garbage?"

"Oh hell no, Sheldon. Don't make that theory come into life." Pierre grimaced, not wanting to sleep in somewhere like the dumpsters or just in a bag of garbage. "I've had enough garbage in my life already so why do we need to take it literally?"

"Meaning?" Jace questioned. The Lytsari team all looked at Pierre, with Wyonetta about to beat him into a pulp if he didn't make things confusing, or in this case, his speech confusing. "I mean, I'm sorry if your life is… grabage or whatever you just said… but now is not the time to discuss things."

"Yeah bro, Jace is right." Rory chimed in, cracking his knuckles for a bit. "We should at least be in the mood for finding this thing. This key, or whatever. Maybe in that room over there?"

Rory pointd towards a slightly cramped storage room full of boxes and shelves, which probably will fall on you if you weren't careful enough.

"I don't now about you freaks. I'm staying out here. I don't want to get cramped on with a bunch of bozos." Wyonetta rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, let's go." Sua narrowed her eyes at the room for a bit before being the first to enter, not really afraid of anything that could possibly happen to the group. "You too, Wyo-unnie."

"Shut up."

A few minutes passed as the team began searching inside the storage room. They have lifted boxes, checked its contents and removing dust bunnies away in the process… to nothing.

Wyonetta was the first one to sigh in defeat, whilst groaning in the process. "Ugh, you know, we are never gonna find these darn keys. Like, this place is just big and who in the world thought of a good idea to hide three freaking keys in a mansion?"

Summer checked on a nearby shelf just by the door. "Maybe it's here..." she muttered to herself. Unfortunately, a frown grew on her face as there was nothing. "Well... never mind."

Suddenly, she flinched as she could hear the door slam shut.

"What was that?" Rory asked from the other side of the room.

Jace, who was the second nearest to the door, had his hand on the doorknob and jiggled it in case it would open. To his dismay, it didn't. "Oh... well, I think we're trapped."

"Tra-what?" Sheldon immediately exclaimed, running towards the door. "Merely impossible! There is no being sauntering on the other side of this door! Who on beneath the hands of mother earth would just lock us up in here knowing that there are obviously people in this room?!"

Pierre sighed as he looked around the room. "Looks like we have to find another way out of here. How about the window?"

"I don't think that will work..." Rory opposed. "But I guess we have no choice. Who could've done this though?"

"It is obviously Dimetrius, Rory-oppa." Sua answered, staring at the door, before violently kicking it with a loud thud. The door didn't barge however.

"That's not gonna work, you kpop dancing buffoon." Wyonetta snarked before continuing to quickly search for the key in hopes of the team making it out of the room.

Jeremy sighed as he tested the key he was holding onto several door locks by turning, twisting, and pushing them within each lock. It's either the key was too big to fit into the hole, or the key was so small that it could slip inside the hole and you would never be able to get it out unless if you have a backup that will lead onto the other side.

He sighed in defeat at every single failed attempt to unlock anything.

"Well…" Maelle slowly sauntered up to the musical nerd, an uncertain expression on her face. "Maybe you didn't find the right key after all."

Jeremy could only look down towards the ground as things were not quite working for him.

"Maybe we could try upstairs." Pandora suggested to the group, pointing towards the grand staircase in the foyer that they could see through the rather lavish and vast hallway.

"Let's go then." Naka eagerly stated with a smirk on her face, eventually leading the team via walking through the hallway and up to the stairs. "We could try the key and see if it fits any of these other key holes."

"Here, you try." Jeremy handed the key over to Foster who gladly took it with a nod. The survivalist determingly stood in front of a mahogany wooden door and inserted the key into the key hole. Unfortunately, he was unable to turn it.

"I think it's too tight." Foster sighed.

"Wrong door again?" Tala groaned, not liking the fact that it failed again.

"Yeah, most likely." the survivalist stated, giving a glance at the doorknob for a few seconds before-

"Hey Foster, Allan says we should try that door over there." Gerald pointed towards a door on the edge of the hallway.

The door by the edge looked black and dark… somehow giving eerie and creepy vibes from it. It didn't help as the window not too far away produced howling sounds from the morning wind.

"Or maybe we could just go for a different door…" Tyler spoke up. "A door that doesn't look… you know, creepy at first glance."

Naka looked at the other side of the corridor. "This way."

The team of eight (or… nine if you count Allan) kept on walking silently on the left corridor. Tyler looked back at the dark door again for a few seconds, before snapping back his gaze towards his team.

Tyler (Chevaliers): "I have a feeling that there are… weird things hiding in this place…"

"This one?" Pandora pointed to a red door that blended well with the area because of its texture and color. Foster, who had the key, inserted it on the key hole and twisted it. The team all beamed at each other in victory as they heard a click coming from the door.

They opened the door and it revealed to have some bunk beds along with single beds beatly placed on the sides. There was also enough space for them to put their stuff as well as some wardrobes and dressers, while a white rug laid in the middle of the room.

"Fantastic, looks like the room is ours!" Maelle beamed gleefully, immediately calling out for one of the single beds.

"Hm, are we all sleeping in this room though?" Pandora wondered out loud. "Like… no other room for the girls or anything?"

This sudden point caused the team to look at each other, trying to not think about the… possibilities that could happen.

"We can manage." Tala immediately dismissed everyone's thinking with a reassuring smile, calling on one of the other beds. I'm sure we'll be fine."

"Yeah…" Jeremy nodded hesitantly.

The sounds of footsteps plus the wheels of Hector's wheelchair squeaking echoed throughout the narrow corridor as the team were on the verge of giving up. It had been roughly an hour already… and still nothing?

"Ugh, we are probably going around in circles at this point." Laila whined. "I am exhausted. Not to mention, my feet will not be able to walk themselves at this state."

"We'll find the room soon, don't worry." Aditi tried cheering the tired group up.

"But where is the room?" Jessica jutted her chin, not wanting to give up, but it didn't help that she was feeling tired from all the walking also. "If I'm not mistaken, we might as well explored the whole manor at this point."

"See, that key Laverne is holding is fake." Laila immediately declared, sending an accusing glare towards Laverne who was about to give the snob a piece of her mind.

"Mind telling me how do you know that this is fake then?" Laverne asked, already not wanting to get into a fight but for a girl like her… yeah, not much of a choice.

"Ladies-" Hector cleared his throat, not wanting any fight to happen as well. "This manor is huge, there are probably a couple of rooms that we haven't checked out. Plus there's probably an attic."

"Oh no, not the attic-" Fridge sighed, as he thought about sleeping in an attic with crealy wooden floorboards that could possibly break down once he enters now that he thought about it. "Hector!"

Hector immediately stopped his wheelchair as soon as he heard Fridge's voice.

The hole that Dustin fell in not too long ago was right before the team, not too mention, one inch away to Hector's doom.

"Whoa, okay now I have this sudden feeling that the materials used in this manor are old as heck." Eli theorized. He wasn't the type to think about a certain thing, then again, it probably hit him.

"That's probably some sort of way to the basement." Aditi said, looking into the hole. Her face suddenly lit up. "We could check it out!"

"Not now, Aditi. It's the basement. Who knows what's down there." Jessica countered. Aditi did not pout, but instead just hung her head low in disappoinment.

"Maybe the key could be for the basement?"

"Oh no, please no." Hector shook his head rapidly. "Not everyone can sleep easily in the basement."

"So we probably should skip it." Eli said. "Maybe we recheck a few more rooms and return here if there aren't anymore left."

"Yeah, let's do that." Jessica nodded, before turning her gaze onto Laverne and Laila with an annoyed look. "And try not to argue while you're at it or else it would cost you."

Laila still had the accusing glaze at Laverne, while the model couldn't help but return almost the same look back at her.

Laverne (Ritter): "The key? Fake? Yeah right. This key, for your information, is not made out of plastic." She twirled the key on her fingers. "I don't want to throw insults, but you know what's even more plastic? Laila's attitude."

The team had reached the final hallway in the mansion. At this point, Laila was trying so hard not to crawl on the ground.

"Please tell me that this is the last hallway we're going through."

"Most likely." Eli panted, he was also getting exhausted at this point. He looked at Fridge and Aditi who were still as energetic as they were when they first arrived. "How are you two okay with this?"

"Well, my adventures told me otherwise." Aditi beamed with a huge smile on her face. "And Fridge is super athletic so I guess that explains him."

"Right you are, Frienditi." Fridge chuckled.

"Frienditi?" Aditi laughed at the sudden nickname. "Never saw that one coming, but I like it!"

Fridge (Ritter): "It's just me… but I have a way with werd nicknames…"

Jessica looked at Laverne. "The key. This must be the room."

Laverne handed the girl the key. Surprisingly, it didn't took long for it to open.

"Thank goodness this search is over." Hector sighed in relief. The team cheered as the entered the room.

The room appeared to be a bit of the same size as the Chevaliers' room, only to be filled entirely with bunk beds and cabinets for space purposes.

Laila had a grin on her face. "At long last."

"Ugh, whoever locked us up in here is a piece of shiiiiiiiiiit!" Wyonetta shouted on top of her lungs, hoping that someone could here her frustration.

"Shouting is not gonna help." Jace simply stated, checking at his notebook every now and then in case if a ripped page falls out.

"How are you so calm in the middle of this BS? Like, all you even do is just stare at your notebook 24/7 probably!" Wyonetta retaliated.

"Hey, writing is just a hobby of mine, chill!" Jace defended himself, a ripped page falling out of his book. The writer looked at the piece of paper that flew into the air, swinging back and forth on the process before smoothly landing just by a hole in the wall.

Sumemr flinched. "A hole in the wall… I'm not gonna be surprised if there are rats in here…" she shuddered briefly, turning her gaze away from the hole.

"Unnie, wait." Sua spoke up, before crouching down onto the floor. She found something… copper-like so she pulled it out.

A key.

"Aw sweet! Looks like we've got one!" Rory beamed, fist-bumping the idol in the process with a wide grin on his face. "Now to get out of here."

"Or, the key that Sua had just obtained is our way out of this room and not for the room that we will rest on." Sheldon stated as he held up a finger.

"Sheldon, for goodness' sake, don't make this hard for us." Pierre sighed.

"I am not making things even more difficult for our reach, I am just stating possible facts." Sheldon countered.

"Possible facts, my ass. You know what, we're tearing this door down to pieces whether you shits like it or not." Wyonetta retorted, geting herself ready to kick the door down to the ground.

Summer yelped. "I uh- Wyonetta? I don't think that's a good idea. I mean, what if that weird voice finds out and starts haunting us?"

"Shame on you, you're just scared." Wyonetta snarked, sending a powerful kick towards the door.

Nothing happened.

"According to my calculations, it would take you about… roughly two hundred and seventy-five kicks for this door to open as this is not made out of wood." Sheldon explained himself.

"Wood, who cares if it's made out of wood or not, we're out of here and that's on me." Pierre said, grabbing an axe that was conveniently placed on a shelf and whacked the door with it.

"Oppa, wait. I have to see if it fits." Sua said, attempting to insert one key into the doorknob. Too small. There was another so she did the same. Too big. "Or we could just do the hairpin technique. It… doesn't really work often but… maybe." The idol added, taking a bobby pin out of her hair and inserting it in the doorknob. After turning it left and right for about three times, the door opened.

"Sua, I don't know if I should say this, but you're awesome at this shit." Rory laughed, playfully punching the idol on the shoulder as she let out a chuckle.

Sua (Lytsari): She holds up the key and widens her eyes. "...That was stupid… I didn't know there were two keys in this key ring. Maybe one of them is just an extra but it looks too big to be a duplicate. I don't think they were gonna fit in the doorknob anyway due to their sizes but at least the hairpin technique worked."

"Knights-" a voice rang throughout the entire mansion, which could only mean one thing:

"Your challenge is over." Dimetrius' voice rang. As to logic, it appears that he able to increase the volume of his voice to the point where the whole mansion could hear him… as he is merely just a voice after all. "Chevaliers and Ritter, congratulations on eventually finding your spaces. Lytsari, as you failed to find your room you must sleep in the attic in the duration of the season."

Fridge (Ritter): He sighed in ultimate relief.

Summer (Lytsari): She was now on the attic. It looked… completely different from the rest of the mansion considering how dusty it looked. Plus there were no mattresses for them to sleep on. "This… is gonna be a pretty long season…"

The camera switches the scene after a few blinks to where Chris was standing outside the mansion, with a smirk on his face. "Well well well dear viewers! We have apparently reached the end of our first episode. And it seems as though our knights… or that's how Dimetrius calls them… will be put into the test."

The scene then shows a glimpse of the next episode. Everyone was seen in their formal attire in the banquet hall and there was a huge feast placed before them on the tables. Chris was also seen on the scene in the middle of everyone, about to commence the feast.

The scene then changes to a room with coffins with black roses surrounding the whole room with a figure entering the area. This gives an unsettling mood into the atmosphere.

"We'll find out next time when we return on Total Drama Knightfall!" Chris announced as the screen fades to the credits.

This episode was so short to the point that I should have combined this with the first part. Let me tell you that I was not really proud with how this one turned out, it honestly felt like a burden writing it due to this sudden excitement to write the next episode. XD

As of now, I am done with school and I hope to post… not really frequently, but I'm hoping that the wait for a new episode wouldn't take as long as this one!

'Till next time! Please let me know any opinions and feedback on the reviews!

Meaning behind the episode title: Neue gesichter, according to sources, means new faces in German. (Credits to a few of you who have pointed that out! XD) Since we all know that this is the first episode in which everyone meets each other for the first time, it would mean that everyone's their new faces towards each other, as no one met anyone beforehand.
