Chapter Nine

"Anakin, Anakin." Someone shakes him. Anakin opens his eyes to see the familiar pinkette over him.

"Now this is a view I wouldn't mind waking up to everyday," Anakin tells her and causes her to blush with some snickering from a few onlookers. He grunts himself upwards with some help from Sakura. "So what's up? Is one of you guys next?"

"It's my turn," Shino tells him, walking down the steps. Anakin looks over to the screen seeing that Shino will be going up against someone named Zaku Abumi. They all give Shino good luck.

"So what have I missed in my nap?" He asks after the match has started.

Sakura answers him, "Quite a bit actually. Shikamaru won against Kin Tsuchi, Temari won against Tenten, Dosu Kinuta won against Choji, Neji beat Kiba's teammate (embarrassing the poor kid so much that I doubt he'll keep being a ninja), and lastly Kankuro won against Misumi Tsurugi."

"So it's just you, Clan Head, Hinata, Ino, Gaara, and the other guy from Kabuto's team?" She nods and Anakin goes back to watching the match, but not before seeing Guy come back up the stairs.

Kakashi looks to Guy, "How are your genin?"

"Tenten has some cuts and bruises while also being unconscious, but they think she'll be awake and about in a few days. Lee on the other hand…" The green jumpsuit jounin sighs, "It's not life threatening, and that's the good news. The bad is his leg was bent forward enough to not only break, but to cause bone protrusions with moderate blood loss. On top of that, he has multiple other broken bones all over his body both from Anakin's attacks and the fallout of opening the gates. Speaking of which, his chakra veins are overloaded from opening the gates. The doctors couldn't use medical jutsus without causing more damage, so everything has to be healed the old fashion way. They said he should be able to leave the hospital in a month if he's lucky, but he won't be able to use his leg for months. Even when his chakra is back to normal, no one there would be able to use medical jutsu to fix it.. If Lady Tsunade was here then it might be a different story, but that is the best they can do at the moment."

Kakashi looks down and pats his fellow jonin's shoulder, "Months will definitely set his ninja path back, but it's good he'll make it through."

Guy gives Kakashi a nod before moving towards his last genin. Anakin stops him before he can get there. "Master Guy, with your permission I would like to pay my respects to Lee in his hospital room. I didn't mean to cause him so much pain during our match." Anakin bows for his request.

Guy studies him for a moment, "Just one thing before I give you an answer. Have you ever used that power before or had knowledge beforehand?"

"No, I honestly had no idea I could do that until our match. He had me out matched and I was disparate in finding a way to match him," Anakin answers.

Guy looks him over before nodding, "Alright I don't sense a lie from you, so I believe you are telling the truth. You may go see him, after getting yourself fully checked out yourself. I don't wish to see you harm yourself in your guilt about his condition. Just promise me you won't use that power again until your sensei thinks you are ready otherwise."

Anakin nods. "Of course, though I don't know what I did."

"It's called Sage Mode," Kurenai tells him and begins explaining to him everything Kakashi has already said previously to everyone else. "And I agree with Guy-senpai about you not using it without my say so. Though if the Hokage or the Toad Sage Jiraiya thinks you are qualified enough to, then that is equally okay. Just make sure to give me a heads up. I don't want you using it untrained and end up as stone or getting an ally hurt or killed."

"Yes Master," Anakin agrees. A scream brings their attention back to the fight and they see that Zaku's arms are blown out. Shino is declared the winner soon after and they give him their congrats.

"Alright, will Hinata Hyuga and Ino Yamanaka please make your way down to the arena," Hayate says.

Anakin nudges Naruto towards her, "Go on and tell your girl good luck."

"She's not my girl," Naruto protests, causing Hinata to look down for a moment and getting everyone to look at him like a fool. Oblivious to the situation, Naruto goes to her, "Good luck Hinata-chan! I know you can win!" This gets her to perk back up and mumble some kind of thanks to him. Kakashi and everyone gives her one as well before she heads down.

"Hinata's going to win," Sakura states out loud.

Anakin arches his brow, "Not routing for your childhood friend?"

She shakes her head, "Ino is like me before I started training with you. She focuses on staying skinny and 'looking good' for Sasuke. She's not physically training at all, and I doubt she's putting much effort in her clan's ability training either. Though that being said, that ability is pretty much all she has going for her in this match. The problem is that Hinata takes her training with us very seriously and will not allow Ino to be in a position to use a mind transfer. So without that, Ino will get beaten fairly easily in this short taijutsu battle." True to her words, the match starts and plays out exactly how Sakura said. Hinata rushed Ino and never stayed in one position to give Ino a line of sight shot before all of her chakra was closed off by Hinata. Without chakra and poor taijutsu, she forfeited the match.

"Congrats Hinata-chan!" Naruto shouts out and causes her to blush deeply on her way back up. Everyone else also congratulates her as well.

The screen starts randomizing again before stopping. "Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha, please make your way down!" To say this matchup was surprising to the Leaf genin and a few jonin would be an understatement, for it was known to them that Sakura used to be the lead fangirl to the young heir of the Uchiha clan.

"Umph," Sasuke grunts in amusement as he makes his way down, "this will be a piece of cake."

"Don't mind grouch butt Sweetness, you've improved much over the last months." Anakin says reassuringly.

Sakura gives a quick chuckle, "You know this is almost funny. I used to be head over heels for him, but now I'm dating the only other member of his clan and about to kick his ass."

"That's the spirit." Anakin then kisses her, "Good luck down there."

She gives him a smirk, "Don't worry, I won't do anything you wouldn't do."

He pales, "Based on my past actions, that's only going to worry me more. Perhaps just don't do what I would do as well."

She pats his cheek before giving a glance over everyone else. Kakashi catches her eye for a moment which prompts him to tell her, "I'm not kissing you." She takes the embarrassing moment to scutter to the arena floor and absentmindedly not hearing any 'good luck' from anyone else. Hayate gives the order to start the match.

"Sakura, I do acknowledge you've gotten better lately, but adding anything to zero will make anything look better. So I'll do you a solid favor and allow you to forfeit this match. It'll be a far cry for a scrawny book smart girl to even fight rookie of the year." Sasuke states.

Sakura puts a hand on her sword, "Don't get up on your high horse just yet. I know for a fact you are currently in a weakened state. So my chances of winning are closer than you might think."

"So you'll take advantage of a handicap and try to claim a hollowed win that you don't deserve?" He asks rather annoyedly.

"Of course. A ninja must take every advantage," She pulls out the sword in reverse grip, "I am only applying that well known knowledge."

Sasuke pulls out a kunai and shifts into his stance, "Even with only taijutsu, beating you is simple enough I wouldn't need my sharingan anyways. You'll regret not taking the out I gave you."

The physical fight as soon as the psychological one ends. They both speed towards each other and the clash of metal is heard throughout the arena. Sakura tries to take command by taking a few swings, but Sasuke had other plans. His kunai meets her attacks and he closes the distance by taking a jab at her ribs. She's unable to block and winces. She then backs away and flips her blade upright adopting the Shii-Cho style. Sasuke once again tries to close the distance, but Sakura is now using the reach of her blade to keep him away. He swings his kunai to her left side and she quickly blocks it, however he doesn't stop his attack and keeps pressing his weapon and causing her to do the same. He moves to grab her sword arm with his free hand and brings a knee up. Dammit Sakura, mind your surroundings. Your left is completely exposed to his knee. Anakin thinks watching from the stands. Sakura gives a quick wide eye look before taking her left foot and kicking his shin. Wait, did she hear my thoughts this time? Anakin asks himself. Sasuke's hand still grabs her sword arm, but he is currently a little off balanced from the hit to the shin. She then releases her left hand from the sword and seemingly flexes it before placing it back. Sasuke gains control of the struggle and pushes her down. She hits the ground and he digs his kunai into her shoulder. Though that only causes her body to disappear into sakura petals.

He blinks for a second before cursing himself for falling for a simple trick. Anyone worth their salt knows it pointless to use genjutsu against an Uchiha, so he dismissed the idea before the match even started. Hindsight states he should have not been so dismissive of someone who's been training under the Genjutsu Mistress. He clears himself of the genjutsu and finds himself standing back up with no sight of her. However on instinct, he ducks and feels wind coming from a sword swinging above him. Sasuke sweeps a leg around and trips her up for real. As she falls forwards, he catches her hair and pulls it back while pressing a foot down on her back. She screams in pain before making a sacrificing decision of cutting her long hair with her sword. Although freed from his grasp, his foot is still bearing down on her back. Sakura completely falls to the ground and Sasuke steps on the hand holding her sword. He rips it free from her hand and chucks it away before turning her over and pressing a knee on her chest. He stabs her in the gut, "How's this as a handicap for you?!" He digs and twists the kunai around making her scream more.

Anakin grits his teeth and his knuckles turn white holding the armbar. Kurenai places a hand on his shoulder to calm him from his emotions. She's seen what happens when his anger wins, and she would rather not have him rush in and end up getting both himself and Sakura disqualified, or worse he ends up killing someone. She also knew that it was important for him to remain so that both of them can learn something from this match. Anakin to learn that he has to have faith in Sakura's abilities and Sakura to learn to get out of situations such as his. Anakin senses the message she is trying to send and lessens his grip on the bar. That does not mean he won't bite his lip at the frustration of having to watch.

What shocks everyone is what happens next. Sakura lets out a powerful screaming grunt, sending Sasuke crashing into the ceiling and falling onto the ground. The Leaf shinobi and Hokage pause for a moment before looking to Anakin for answers. However they find Anakin is just as shocked as they are, though he shows a small sign of realization. Now the Force Bond he felt from her earlier has an explanation. Midi-chlorains aren't native to this world, which points to her being a descendant of the group that crashed here. That means she's Force sensitive! I spent the most time with her lately, so how did I not sense this?! He questions himself. Sakura is the most shocked out of everyone. She never knew she had this within her, and it causes her to feel both great joy and fear. Joy to be able to do what Anakin can, but fear about people possibly targeting her as the weaker of them both and forcibly breeding said ability down. Anakin quickly catches her thoughts, sending her waves of calming reassurance. She receives his emotions and cools herself down. Sakura then grunts standing up and pulls the kunai out of her. She then quickly tears off a piece of clothing to make a makeshift bandage to close the bleeding.

The one person not in a shocked state is currently on the ground in a state of rage. Rage that he is currently being held back from his full self. Rage that he was easily pushed aside! Rage that a weak clanless girl has the same power as the coward in his clan! Rage that said coward won't teach him that power to get revenge! Rage because he is currently unable to force Anakin to teach him it! But that won't be an issue soon. For when Sasuke becomes a chunin after winning the exams, he will be able to take his official position as Clan Head. Then Anakin will be forced to teach him. Then he will kill him for withholding the power from him. After that, he will kill Itachi and finally avenge his clan! However that is for his future self to worry about. Now he has to deal with the pest before him. A voice calls out to him to use its power and the mark on his shoulder is radiating with intensification. Sasuke momentarily pushes the voice aside but eyes Anakin looking at Sakura with concern. On second thought, nothing would be sweeter than to cause that coward pain. He gives in to the curse mark and feels it covering him. Power rushing through his body felt great. Yes, this power could also be used for his purposes. He pushes himself up and locks eyes with Sakura. Her shocked expression is doubled when he speeds at her faster than before. She is left with little time to defend herself, which isn't long enough for her brain to tell her body to move. Sasuke grabs her by the throat and lifts her up above him. He then uses his other hand to tear off the makeshift bandage and jam his hand in the wound, tearing it even wider. He digs his fingers around the wound and starts pulling whatever he can grab. Sakura struggles to work up a scream as the choke hold prevents her from getting air along with the blood that is being choked up. Sasuke grins in pleasure as he watches the reactions of Anakin. This feeling is only reinforced by the curse mark giving him more of a rush.

The onlookers are in a horrified state seeing the gruesome scene in front of their very eyes.. The jonin are quick to come out of it and multiple blurs rush to the scene. One second, Sasuke has Sakura in his hands. The next second, he is being held back from Kakashi. What scares him next is the sight of red eyes in front of him being held back. However it isn't Anakin's sharingan that he is scared of, for he has his hands on Sakura's wound as Hayate calls the match and for a medic. No the red eyes in front of him is the murderous expression of Kurenai. It's only the strength of Anko, Asuma, and Guy that her kunai is only inches away from the Uchiha heir's eyes.

"YOU FUCKER!" Kurenai squirms as she tries to escape the hold she is on. "There is a difference between injuring your opponent to weaken them and torturing for pleasure! Well let's see how you like being on the receiving end up of it when I tear your precious little eyes out! Get off me!"

Guy shifts around and grabs her kunai from her, "Kurenai what Sasuke did was very unyouthful, but-"

"Take your youth shit and SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS!" She spats out. "The Hyuga clan knows all about having sticks up their asses, so ask your genin to help you with that!"

"Kurenai," Asuma starts, "I know how much you care for your genin, but you have to calm down."

"I will not calm down! That brat was killing her in the most painful way possible! I will not-" Everyone gets stopped by a dark presence filling the room. At first it was the killing intent coming from the Hokage they felt, but it was quickly dwarfed by something darker. They all follow the trail until they find Anakin at its source. His eyes remain focused on Sakura's wound. With silence finally came, he closes his eyes and send his energy to the wound. The wound slowly stops bleeding and everything that was taken out is moving back in. A sweat forms on his forehead as he concentrates before he relents and pants for breath. The wound is only part way closed, and the medics quickly arrive to take over. The lead glances over to Anakin with an impressed look, before lifting Sakura onto a stretcher. The medics race out of there both to bring her to the hospital and to get away from the darkness Anakin is producing. Anakin gets up and looks everyone over with crimson sharingan eyes. Unexpectedly, he shifts his focus away and walks back to the stands without a word. No one dared to say a word either, for they would rather not see the outcome from such a powerful unknown that is Anakin.

There is one red head genin who is loving every second of this. He looks on from the stands with an evil smile on his face. Mother wants, no demands for both of the Uchiha's blood. They will give him what he wishes for. Temari and Kankuro see the look their younger brother is making and recognizes it immediately. They don't know what's scarier, the calm but powerful force coming from Anakin or the murderous intent from Gaara. Previous experience lens towards the later, though they would not want to be on the receiving end of either.

Sasuke and the jonin settle down, but not before Kurenai gives Sasuke one more rage filled look and walks with Anakin to the stands. He gives her a small look of appreciation as his sharingan recedes back to his normal ice blue eyes. They make their way up in the stands and take positions next to Shino. Anakin pats his teammate's shoulder for reinsurance. Even if Shino doesn't outwardly express it, the rather low but angry buzz is heard from the literal swarm circling around inside him. Sakura is his teammate and friend. He has grown to care for everyone on his team, so to say he is upset is an understatement. The pat dims the buzz even lower, but remains nonetheless.

The excitement dying down also causes the curse mark to die down. Which means Sasuke is drained of energy as he falls into Kakashi's arms. The masked jonin wisely takes his genin out of the arena and away from Team Eight. Everyone else resumes their previous positions as Hayate surveys the area. "Sakura Haruno is in no condition to fight so Sasuke Uchiha is declared the winner." Darkness looms the room as the proctor gulps, "Hey I still got a job to do and we have one more match. We are ninja and there will be uncomfortable situations that you will have to push through. If you can't push through this, then I suggest you turn in your headbands and find a different line of work!" No response is given. "Good now let's finish this last match so we can all leave. Gaara of the Sand and Yoroi Akado make your way down here." Both contestants end up in front of each other in the arena. "You already know the rules by now so begin!"

The gourd on Gaara's back pops open with sand rushing out. Yoroi's hand glows blue and he charges the redhead. The sand around his feet rises up and blocks the attempt. A few of the sand falls to the ground from the touch of his hand, but more just springs forwards and latches onto his arm. He tries to pull his arm free, but that only invites the sand to invade onto his other arm. The sand works its way up his arm as he continues to struggle to no avail. Everyone watches as Yoroi is swallowed completely by the sand. Gaara raises his hand and closes his fist. Moments later a crunch is heard throughout the arena as blood oozes out from the sand. With a grin on his face, the sand returns to the gourd with the lid back on it, and he looks to the proctor.

Hayate looks to the mangled body on the floor, but the previous fight already desensitized his and everyone watching senses or feelings. "Gaara of the Sand is the winner! Clean up crew, please take Yoroi's body out of here and inform whoever is close to him. Winners, please come forward as we decide who will fight who in the finals." They all make their way down and each one of them pulls out numbers from a pouch. Hayate looks over each number before announcing the results. "That leaves the last number for Sasuke Uchiha. I'll make sure he and Kakashi know about the selections. Alright everyone listen closely, you will have a month break before the Chunin Exams finals where it will be publicly displayed. Remember, just because you don't win doesn't mean you lose your chance at becoming a chunin. The judges will be basing their decisions by everything you do. That also means you can possibly win the whole thing, but still not qualify to be chunin material. Now listen to how the bracket in the finals will work. The winner of Match One will fight the winner of Two. Three will fight the winner of Four, and the By will fight the winner of match Five. The three remaining will have a free-for-all battle at the end. The rules will remain the same as the preliminaries. All that leaves now is the upcoming matchups. Direct your attention to the screen then go and prepare for your fights." Everyone looks up to the bracket and a few found some amusement looking at some of the match ups.

By: Naruto Uzumaki

Anakin holds the hand of Sakura while she's lying in a hospital bed. Sakura has been unresponsive since that day of the preliminaries a few days ago. The hospital staff have done all they can and say it's just a waiting game until she wakes up. So Anakin has been waiting by her bed since, only leaving for the restrooms. Others have come by, but other than a little small talk there is nothing they can say. It's this time that a blue glow appears. Anakin already knows who it is, and waits for his grandfather to grab a chair and pull it next to him.

"You alright there?" Skywalker asks, already knowing the answer.

"Ye-" Uchiha pauses before realizing he's talking to someone who can feel his emotions with the Force. "No I'm not. Far from it actually."

Skywalker rests a hand on his grandson's shoulder, "That's okay. I'd be more concerned if you were alright. That is why I am here, a way to express your feelings to someone who understands what it's like being Force sensitive."

Uchiha dips his head with a sigh, "I don't know why, but I have less control over my emotions in this life than I did in my previous one. My anger pops out more often and I can tell I'm getting a bit arrogant. I should have never thought I could fight Lee without the full use of my powers and abilities. He dedicates his whole life to being a ninja without ninjutsu or genjutsu and even my experience with a lightsaber doesn't fully transition with the swords and fighting styles of this world. My arrogant way led me to discovering the 'Sage Mode' and took him away from being a ninja. Even if it is temporary, he's young and he will be missing a good half of a year of training and experiences."

Skywalker nods along with his explanation, "Hindsight will always be greater after the fact and the fact that you know your faults means you can find a way to correct them. Perhaps Sakura here can help you with that," He nods his head towards her. "As for your emotions, perhaps it's something to do with being an Uchiha. As I understand it from watching over you, that clan is driven by their emotions. Take the sharingan for example; they unlock it through great loss and trauma. Upgrading it seems to follow the same emotional thought process. Your kin Sasuke is another example of being driven by emotions; his whole life is centered by the massacre that scarred him and being driven by rage to avenge them."

Uchiha looks over to his grandfather, "So I'm destined to be forever be a slave to emotions?"

"No. While you will experience it much more often, you don't have to be a slave to it. I was a slave to my love for your grandmother and look where that got me. You have seen the recordings from R2, so you know what happened. And I know you may try to push it away or release it to the Force like the Jedi are taught, but that does not always work and probably will never be a long term solution for you here. Instead take control of it, and I don't mean cannonball into the Dark Side. I mean use your emotions to your advantage. Use your love to do good for others. You did this a few days ago when you healed Sakura. And I know it might seem contradictory to what I just said, but you should use your rage as well. You have tip toed the line of the Dark Side, but I'm suggesting going up to your ankles with it. Enough to help you out, but not enough to fall in the pit of the Dark Side. I know it might be tricky at first, but I believe you are capable of it. There was a Jedi back in my time named Mace Windu that found a good balance of harnessing the Dark Side without being a slave to it. While he and I haven't been on friendly terms, I can at least respect him in his strength in the Force. He was the Master of the Order after all. If he found a way, then I know you can do it. You're a Skywalker afterall and playing with the Dark Side is what we end up doing." Skywalker ruffles Uchiha's hair.

Uchiha swats the hand away, "Okay stop I get it." He then gets a small smile, "You always know the best time to show up when I need it don't you?"

Skywalker shares the smile, "Of course I do. I'm not about to leave my grandson helpless and alone. Not when I have the power to do something about it. Besides, someone wise has to give you guidance."

Uchiha arches a brow, "Wise are you? Falling to the Dark Side to save a life doesn't sound all that wise to me."

"You're right, it wasn't." He agrees. "However after becoming one with the Force, I have spoken long with my former three masters and have learned much from them, Yoda especially. He told me that failure is the greatest teacher and we must pass down our moments of failure to our students. While I no longer have any apprentices around to pass down my knowledge to, I do have you and the rest of our family."

"Speaking of which, how are they doing? Last time you only told me what they did once I died, not how they are now." Uchiha asks.

"Well I'm sure you'll be glad to know the war is over and…" Skywalker begins to go on about the adventures of the family and friends Uchiha once knew.

"Jacen really named a Star Destroyer after me?" Uchiha asks.

Skywalker nods, "Yep, his grief for you is driving him to the Dark Side. I told him about you still being alive, but that doesn't seem to be doing much for him. You aren't there and that's what matters to him. You being here seems to only drive him more. Your friend seems to be following your brother as well. They have… a very unhealthy thing going on. I fear for those two, but the best I can do is offer counsel to those who are willing as I do with you. The rest of the family is both glad to know you are alive, but saddened they can't be with you."

"Well how far is this world to the galaxy? Would they be able to come and see me like that? That might help Jacen and Tahiri."

"It's not that simple," Skywalker tells him. "This world is in a totally different galaxy far, far away. Plus there are no hyperspace lines to this world. They'd be flying both blind and long. The trip here could take anything from a few months if they are lucky to years or decades if unlucky. No one, not even as great of pilots as Luke, myself, or your father, would make that trip with ease. And before you ask, no transmitter would be able to communicate at this distance."

Uchiha looks down for a moment before drifting his eyes over to Sakura. He instantly gets an idea, "What about Force Bonds? I remember reading about them at the academy. Powerful ones can be able to feel or even speak to each other from across the galaxy. Surely even in this body, my bonds with them should still be tied to my soul."

Skywalker rests a hand on his chin, "Possibly. It'll take a lot of work. For one, death tends to sever bonds. You'll have to reattach them again with each one of them. Then you'll have to put a lot of patience and dedication with the Force to make them grow to such a length. It'll probably take at least a year or so if you're lucky. I'll speak to Master Qui-Gon about it and mediate with him, Master Yoda, and Obi-Wan on it."

"Thanks Grandfather."

"I'm just doing what I should do for my family." Skywalker brushes the complement away and turns his attention to the girl. "Anyway, enough about them, let's talk about Sakura here."

Uchiha gets a red face, Shit! I was hoping he would leave my love life alone.

His grandfather pops a smirk, "As much as I would love to pester you about your girlfriend, I'm speaking about her Force sensitivity. Now that it is known, she's going to need a teacher. It'd be far too dangerous if the Sith found out about her and took advantage of her."

"I know, though I did realize recently you never told me who the Sith is I'm here for." Uchiha pushes.

Skywalker tilts his head side to side before shrugging, "The Force seems to be unwilling to allow me to tell you. However I can give you a hint. He has a relation to another Sith Lord from a certain tyrannical government. Man, even giving you a hint, the Force changes what I can say. Can honestly tell you that it is a weird feeling."

Uchiha doesn't need a second to think, "So it's the Emperor then? Since Darth Vader is currently sitting beside me, that's all he can be."

Skywalker briefly looks at his grandson and then stares at nothing. He takes a breath before speaking, "I can't say anything on the matter other than 'understand the clue and the answer will reveal itself.'" He turns back to the young genin, "A Sith Lord is not to be taken lightly, no matter who it is. Even the weakest of Sith can create a very destructive chain of events. You will need all the help you can get. Which is why Sakura having Force sensitivity is important. I know Konoha centers around teamwork and there is no better one than a master and an apprentice."

"I understand Grandfather. I already have promised if the Leaf Village had someone who could use the Force that I would teach them. Sakura having it just makes it easier. We already have that kind of relationship when it comes to teaching her the Lightsaber Forms," Uchiha explains.

"That I can see. However if you are teaching her how to use a reverse grip, you yourself need to understand it better as well."

"I know, but no one knows anything about it nor is there a book on it lying around." He tells him.

"Ahhhhhh…" Skywalker drags out, "If only there was a man next to you who trained apprentices that used reverse grip both as a Jedi and a Sith you could ask…"

Uchiha smacks his head, "Of course! How could I have forgotten Aunt Ashoka and Uncle Galen both used it?"

"That's alright. Luckily since I'm a generous grandfather, I'll share my memories of training them with you." Skywalker places a hand on his grandson's forehead and shows the boy what he needs. After the information is shown, he takes his hand back. "You got it all?"

Uchiha closes his eyes and sees from his grandfather's perspective of the training. Smiling he reopens his eyes, "Yes I have what I need."

Skywalker stands up, "Excellent. I do believe I need to be going now. I'm already straining myself to be here this long and I'd much like to get my strength back before I need to return."

Uchiha stands and hugs him, "Thanks again. Send my love to everyone else will ya? Also keep doing your best to help Jacen and Tahiri."

"I will, don't worry about that. You have an exam to train for and a girl to care for. Keep your focus on those for now. I'll speak to you again." Skywalker turns his attention to the door before bowing. "I thank you for watching over my grandchild and hope you continue to guide him in this world." He takes the confusion of the genin to disappear. The remaining Anakin turns to the door and kicks himself for not sensing his master's presence earlier. Kurenai comes in with a look that tells him he's in store for a barrage of questions.

Author's Note:

Well I'm pretty satisfied with this chapter. I know I glossed over a lot of fights, but the majority are the same from the original Naruto story and I found no need to rehash them. I'm sure some might not like what I had Sasuke do, but I see it as Orochimaru seals a little bit of himself in the Curse Seals then he will influence the user when they use it. I'm probably making it up, but it's what makes sense to me. Next it's Sakura being Force sensitive, I always planned on her having it and having her take a different path from her original counterpart. Sakura haters might not like it, but oh well. Lastly I'm sure legends fans know that Ahsoka and Galen Marek (Starkiller) never were part of the that EU, but I see no reason to not mix Legends and Canon together. They won't be making an appearance btw, only a few mentions.

DS2010: Happy to seeing you liking it. I agree that Rancors are beautiful creatures. The baby one from Bad Batch was fairly cute and the one from Boba Fett looks really peaceful when it's not fighting oversized droids or flamethrowers. Anakin had a general timeframe for a while, but the Sith has been relatively quiet so he hadn't thought much of it till the snake sannin appeared.

ChaseTheSoul: Sorry you don't like it, but I know I can't please everyone. Hopefully you find a story you like more.

dragon44pride: Appreciate that, thanks.

Anyways that's it for me. I'll talk at y'all next time!
