Hello again everyone! Thank you for all the lovely comments about me taking my moving break! #
It was a little longer than expected due to one of my best friends since childhood battling COVID since August. She lost her battle on the 28th.
I hadn't finished this chapter yet, it was going to be a little longer but I wanted all three of my stories to be posted at the same time.
I am now back and wanted to ask you all something. Normally I try to get my chapters around 7 to 8 pages. Would you rather I did smaller chapters like this and update more regularly, or stick to longer and monthly?
See you all around the internet Enjoy!
As they flew across the Atlantic again, in the private plane the two adults sat on either side of the young witch. Neither of them wanting to have the conversation they were about to have, but both knowing it was necessary.
Stop her drawing.
"Hey Munchkin can we talk?"
She nodded, snuggling between them.
"You remember when I told you about Daddy being famous, and how that meant that sometimes people look at him, or say things about him," Tony said watching her expression intently.
"Yeah,"
"Cause I am your Dad, that makes you famous too, here in the Muggle world, you understand so far."
"Yeah, so people will talk about me too?" she said, looking at him for conformation.
"Sometimes," Tony said honestly.
"Mim, do you also remember how we told you about the magical world and how there your Dad isn't famous," Remus said gently.
She nodded again.
"He's muggle famous, not magic famous," she said matter-of-factly.
"Right, but you, Mim, are famous in the magic world too," he said; as Remus was talking Tony didn't take his eyes off his daughter's face, she was now frowning.
"Not because of Daddy, cause he is muggle famous… Why am I famous in the magic world?"
"A couple of reasons," Remus said closing his eyes.
"You know the lightning scar on your head, Munchkin," Tony chimed in saving his friend.
"Yeah,"
"It's a very special magic scar." He said carefully. "And you are on the only person in the world with that magic scar,"
"Why?"
"Because, a bad man tried to hurt you with a nasty spell," Remus said.
Tony said kissing the top of her head. "But, cause you are so amazing you only got a scar because of the bad spell. So that's one reason you are famous, you were ok after he tried to hurt you."
"And after he tried to hurt you, he went away." Remus said.
"So… people think I made him go away?" she asked her uncle, biting her lip.
"Yes,"
"Did I?"
"We think so, but we don't know," Remus answered honestly.
"Will he come back?"
"We don't know Munchkin, but" Tony said holding her face and looking in her eyes. "Know, me and everyone who loves you will keep you safe from him if he does, ok?"
"Ok," she smiled hugging her father.
They all settled back down, Mim started to draw while the adults read.
After an hour Remus got up to check on the little girl.
His blood left his face as he saw what the child was drawing. This did not go unnoticed by Tony.
Without speaking to Mim, Remus made his way back to his seat. Tony walked up to Mim.
"Wow, that's a lot of green? You like green Mim?"
"Not this green," she told him "This is an angry green,"
Remus dropped the book he was holding, causing Tony to become even more suspicious.
"Why don't you draw a nice picture for Uncle Remus? I think he doesn't like flying to much."
"Ok," she said, grabbing a new sheet of paper. As she began to draw Tony made his way over to where Remus was sat.
"What is it?" he asked the werewolf.
"It's the killing curse," he whispered.
Tony's eyes widened, he peered to look at his daughter, who was in her own little world sketching.
"She remembers?"
"I don't know, Tony. Perhaps not completely, but she has fragments at least. She called it an angry green. Even if she doesn't remember –"
"Her subconscious does." Tony finished looking at his daughter in concern.
