"Stay sharp beansprout!" The eldest Zenin twin spoke with self-assurance, but a cheeky smile on her face. Twirling, whirling and twisting her red spear with an exceptional dexterity, thrusting and jabbing at her opponent/friend with super precision. Keeping him on the defensive, causing him to block and evade her attacks. She wore usual training attire consisting of black jersey with dark colored cuffs, collar, and bottom edge, dark colored shorts over black pants, and white shoes.

"Ye-Y-Yes ma'am!" The oldest Okkotsu sibling stammered with a concentration expression on, trying to heed her words while also focusing on her strikes. He was doing a fairly good job, countering and avoiding her with cat quickness. His training attire was a dark blue Adidas tracksuit, with matching shoes.

"Don't call me ma'am twig!" Maki said with a tad bit of annoyance, punching Yuta in his right shoulder with the blunt end of her spear in retaliation, then twisting her body and the staff to give a sharp slap to his left thigh. He yelped out an apology and understanding.

The young jujutsu sorcerers had been sparing for ninety minutes, with no breaks in between. They were currently on their thirty-first round with Maki having seventeen wins and Yuta with thirteen. Which impressed both Toge and Panda, especially when concerning Yuta, who was still fairly new to the supernatural world. It had been six months since he enrolled in Jujutsu High School, two months since Suguru Geto failed attempt to invade the school.

"That Maki and Yuta are something else, huh Inumaki?" The Cursed Corpse asked the Cursed Speech user. Who gave an affirmative nod of his head.

"With these two, Jujutsu High School. The sorcerer world as a whole has a bright and secure future ahead of them!" Panda declared proudly.

"Salmon, Salmon." Toge said in agreement.

The two continued to watch the competitive sparring match between their friends with attentive eyes from their stonestep seats.

Yuta had made leaps and bounds in his development and progress as a sorcerer. But Maki still had quite the edge over him, not just with her physical prowess. But with her in depth skill, knowledge and experience in martial arts and combat. And it was starting to show, she placed a well aimed graceful kick in Yuta's midsection. Which caused the swordsman to skidded across the stones in the courtyard.

As soon as he came to a stop, Maki pounced on him like a tigress with her prey. Yuta backflipped out of the way of her vertical downward slash. Seeing a small brief opening in Maki's stout defense. Yuta performed a front flip over Maki so now he was behind her, grabbing her by left shoulder and pulling her so her back was against his chest. He brought his katana to her throat.

"Yield Maki! I got you, it's over." Okkotsu spoke in a panting whisper into his teammate's ear, sending a tingly impalpable sensation down her spine. Making the hair's on the back of her neck stand up. She couldn't quite describe the sensation, but she liked it. And she liked even more that the feeling was caused by Yuta. Not that she would tell him.

"Oh….You think so Yuta?" The Spear Wielder questioned, the timbre in her voice having a husky pitch to it. Dropping her weapon. She melted her posture to be more leaned up against Yuta, particularly her backside to his groin. Who let out a shudder and gasp, inhaling her pine scent that was mixed with the aroma of her jasmine shampoo made his mouth moist.

Maki got the result she desired, Yuta's defenses eased up. The grip he held on his sword with his right hand became loosened, she took advantage. Swiftly disarmed him, using aikido disarming technique. Kicking the blade away before it touched the ground. The weapon turned until it was embedded into a nearby tree.

Throwing the disarmed swordsman to the ground, still gripping his arm. Maki maneuvered Yuta so he was on his stomach, face down in the stones. She pinned his arm to the middle of his back. His left was held down by her left knee when she straddle him. She leaned down so she could whisper in his ear.

"I think you should yield instead Yuta." The Dark Green haired sorceress purred into his ear, sending tantalizing vibrations through his entire being. Giving into the desire to do what Maki says and wanting to make her happy, he capitulated.

"Ah-I -uh you're so strong! I yield Maki, the victory is yours." Yuta sputtered out, even trying to tapout with his trapped hands.

Letting out a brash chuckle, the spear user got off her friend's arm, but kept herself mounted on him. Ignoring how the burning in her loins went straight to her heart. Then the heart went to the mind, and the mind created some rather lewd images. Maki shook her head hoping to clear the pictures in her mind, along with warm blush on her cheeks. She got off Yuta and helped him up.

"Not bad yourself Yuta, you've gotten pretty good. Really good actually. But you gave up a little too easily and you need to be more aggressive in your attack. You stay on the defensive too much. I understand the strategy and it's pretty good in most situations. Using a strong defensive technique to essentially outlast an opponent, waiting until he/she began making mistakes due to frustration or fatigue, before taking advantage of these lapses and countering. However, this tactic can run the risk of fatiguing the user if said user faced an adversary who could maintain an aggressive but cautious offense. Prolonging a fight unnecessarily can lead to death." Maki gave instructions to her friend.

"Maki has a point, Yuta. Her kinetic ultra-aggressive but cautious offense. Was able to break and penetrate your stout but at times static defense. Have more faith in your offensive capabilities, try being the initiator at times. You might surprise yourself with the result. Panda gave encouraging advice to his friend. Him and Inumaki walked up to their teammates handing them towels and cool Grape and Lime Gatorade, seeing that they need to chill themselves down after a competitive sparring match. In more ways than one.

The platinum blonde hair teen backed up his friend's words with nods of his head.

"Understood! I will try my best and do better next time!" Yuta said with attentiveness, taking another sip of his Lime refreshment and wiping his sweat from his face a second time.

"So…..that last round took a rather interesting turn. I never saw you use that tactic before Maki. Is it a technique exclusive to only Yuta?" Panda teased suggestively, drawing a glare from the blushing spearwomen and sheepish look from the blushing swordsman.

"Salmon Salmon." Toge again backed up his Cursed Corpse friend, having his own implying tone wiggling his platinum blonde eyebrows to help his point.

"Shut The Hell Up Both Of You! Okkotsu got a little ahead of himself and let his guard down for a second too long! You Didn't See Shit!" The flushed agitated glasses women said to her classmates, walking up to Panda to give him a playful slap in the arm. She looked to do the same with Toge, who evaded the strike. Maki tried again but got the same result.

Yuta watched the scene between his friends with a genuine smile and on his face, being around them and his cousin made him feel safe, strong and at home. Laughing softly at himself, walked to retrieve his weapon from the tree. He noticed the blade was no longer there, he was going to question. Going to wonder. Until he sensed the immense cursed energy of his cousin.

"Not bad at all lil Cuz! You held your own quite nicely. Even took a few rounds. Here's your sword." Special grade jujutsu sorcerer spoke cheerfully, presenting the katana to the young sorcerer. Who took the blade calmly and thanked him. Having gotten used to the spontaneous appearance of his older cousin out of nowhere.

"Whe-Were The Hell Did You come from Gojo!?" Maki inquired with a new annoyance in her voice, she ceased her playful abuse of her friends. Now focusing on her teacher. She had a feeling the man was here for a reason, a reason she was going to regret sooner or later.

"Oh, I was just in the neighborhood and thought I would check in on my precious first years. Now that was a very interesting move Maki! I have film. If you want to go back and watch it?" The white hair man said, teasingly pointing at his IPhone 12. He was wearing his usual spiked hair, down. With a black bomber jacket, white t-shirt, black jeans and black air forces shoes. Even his signature black blindfold was replaced with dark sunglasses.

Maki's glare grew more sharp, amusing her friends.

"So here for just a casual visit senpai?" Yuta asked his older cousin, knowing it was an ulterior motive behind the sudden appearance.

Satoru regards the young man inquisitively. Noticing and liking how the perception of the young sorcerer had grown, to the point he could even perceive that he had other motives for appearing.

"Yes….And...No. I came to treat you guys to some lunch. But I come with an assignment, exclusively for Maki and Yuta." The teacher said, his tone still upbeat despite his students' apprehensive looks. Seeing that he should provide a little more explanation, he did.

"I will go into more detail while we eat, but…." Satoru's gaze focused on the swordsman and spearwoman, who came to stand next to each other.

"Maki Zenin and Yuta Okkotsu, you both have been given the mission to investigate some nasty murders that have happened in the city of Shinjuku. So get ready you two lovebirds. You're both going to Shinjuku for at least two weeks." Gojo finished, tone never changing. Hold up two fingers to emphasize his point.

All Maki and Yuta could do was look and their teacher in disbelief which only made that cheshire cat smile grow.

Was supposed to be a very long one-shot. But YutaMaki has consume me my thoughts and heart, so stretch it out. I love this pairing.
