Chapter 12

Izumi POV

It's been a few days since the sports festival and classes had resumed. Since Izuku was allowed to leave school grounds, we had spent a lot of time hanging out and catching up with each other. Kat came along a couple times but was usually a bit stand-offish.

I've been trying to help her get out of her shell again like when we were kids but it's been slow. Anyways, everyone was sitting in class, waiting for school to start, wondering what we were going to do today.

When Aizawa finally came in, he had a very serious look. "Alright, shut up and sit down. Most of you have been scouted by heroes. Over the next few days, you have to look over a list of the people who want you to intern for them." He pressed a button on a small remote he had and a list of names appeared on the chalkboard with numbers next to them.

Izumi Yagi - 7342

Katsumi Bakugou - 3276

??? - 3142

Stella Vermillion - 2753

Fumikage Tokoyami - 360

Iida Tenya - 275

Denki Kaminari - 272

Momo Yaoyorozu - 121

??? - 87

Eijiro Kirishima - 68

Ochaco Uraraka - 20

Hanta Sero - 14

Shoto Todoroki - N/A

Katsuki Bakugou - N/A

"The numbers are normally more varied. Anyone that didn't get an internship request will be given a list of fourty names to pick from. These are heroes that work closely with our school."

Everyone was excited to get to work with real heroes. I was confused on why there were two names that weren't being shown so I raised my hand. "Sir, why are there two unnamed students?"

"That's my next thing to talk about. Since the results of the sports festival, Nezu decided to switch out students from each hero course. Katsuki Bakugou, Shoto Todoroki, you're going to class b.

Shoto and Katsuki stood up out of their seats. "Bull shit!" The two shouted.

"Shut up or I'll put you both in general studies." Aizawa activated his quirk and the two finches and sat back down. "The two that are going to replace you should be here soon." The two looked furious. "Also, Izuku, Nezu wants to talk with you about something after this."

"Yes sir." I looked at Izuku behind me and he smiled at me. "Don't worry, Zumi, I'm not in trouble." I nodded. The door opened and everyone saw who it was.

——

No one POV

Two girls were walking down the hall towards their new class. One looked over to the other and saw how nervous she was and elbowed her. "Shoka, calm down. There's nothing to be nervous about."

Shoka looked over to her green haired friend. "But… what if they don't like me?"

"Come on, don't think like that. I know you've only just started coming out of your shell, but look on the bright side. You'll get to see that Izuku you keep talking about~."

Shoka blushed when she heard that. "I-I haven't been talking about him that much."

"Oh, I hope Izuku likes me. Me and him used to be such good friends. I hope Izuku gives me a great big kiss~." The girl said trying to mimic Shoka.

Shoka got even reder. "Setsuna, I never said that!"

"But you were thinking it~." Shoka lowered her head in embarrassment as her face grew even reder and Setsuna pulled her in for a sideways hug as they walked. "Hey, there's no need to feel ashamed." She looks and sees that they're near the door to class 1-a. "Hey, we're here."

The two walked up to the door and opened it. They walked in and stood at the front of the room. "Okay, Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugou, get out and head to 1-b."

The two begrudgingly stood up and walked out of the room. As Shoto passed his sister, he shot her a glare. Shoka would normally look away from him but this time she stood her ground, determined, and glared back at him.

"Okay, introduce yourselves." Aizawa walked over to his desk and got into his sleeping bag.

"Hey everyone, I'm Setsuna Tokage. My quirk is called lizard tail splitter. It allows me to seperate parts of my body and control them." She raised her hand and it began to float off her arm. "If it is off for long enough, it'll go still and I'll need to regenerate it which makes me tired."

"I'm Shoka Todoroki. My quirk is half fire half ice. It's basically a stronger version than my brother's quirk." The two girls took the empty seats.

After they sat down, Aizawa stood up. "Okay, now that that's over, it's time to pick hero names."

——

Almost everyone in class had picked their hero names. The only ones who hadn't were Izuku, Izumi, Stella, Katsumi and Shoka. "Izuku, are you ready to present?" Midnight asked.

"Yes ma'am." Izuku stood up with his whiteboard and walked up to the podium. "I'm going to be "The twin sword knight hero, Mura."

Izumi then walked up next. "I'm going to be Emerald Force."

Then Shoka. "The flaming cold hero: Snowflame." She looked over at Izuku who was smiling at the name.

And Katsumi. "The impact hero: Ground Zero." Everyone in the room cheered for her name, saying that it was great.

And finally Stella. "I'm gonna be the sword maiden: Scarlet Knight."

When that was over, Midnight left the room and everyone was given their list of heroes that requested them. Izuku left the room to head to Nezu's office but on his way out, he shot a quick glance towards Iida.

Ever since the sports festival, his brother was in the hospital from being attacked by the hero killer and when Izuku looked at Iida, he saw the eyes of someone bent on revenge.

Izuku knew that there was nothing he could say to stop Iida since he hated Izuku but couldn't let him walk into his death. As Izuku walked through the halls, towards Nezu's office, he thought about what he could do.

Finally arriving at Nezu's office, Izuku walked in to find Nezu sitting at his desk. "Sir, you wanted to see me?"

"Ah, Izuku, yes. I have two things I wish to talk to you about. First, I want you to pick four people from your class and train them."

"Of course sir. I already have four people in mind."

Nezu nodded. "Good. Next, I want you to try and track down the vigilante, Stain. He's been managing to evade police almost as well as you have and has been killing heroes on a much bigger scale recently. I would prefer if you bring him in but kill him if it's necessary."

"Don't worry, sir, it won't be. I've been meaning to go after Stain for a while before I was captured. From what I've been able to observe of him, he's a decently capable swordsman. His weapons, though, seem to be mostly made to bleed his enemies which likely plays into his quirk. Either way, he shouldn't be much trouble."

Nezu nodded, his smile never leaving his face. "Then I'll leave it to you."

Izuku POV

I left the room and headed back to his class where I saw everyone talking about their requests. I looked over and saw Izumi was looking at her list while going through her notebook, mumbling to herself so I walked up to her.

I picked up her notebook and looked through it. "Wow, even more detail every time I read these."

"Hey Izuku. Who are you going with?"

"Oh, I'm not going with anyone. Nezu told me I'm not participating in the internships."

Izumi look surprised. "What?! But you won the sports festival!"

"Yeah, I did but he did tell me something else." Izumi looked at me curiously. "I'm allowed to pick four people to train and I want you to be one of them."

Izumi looked surprised and gasped. "Really? Yes! Who else are you gonna ask?"

I looked over towards Katsumi and Shoka who were going over their list of names. "I've got a couple ideas."

——

I was in the training room with Izumi, Stella, Shoka and Katsumi. Shoka and Katsumi were both hesitant to accept my invitation to train with me for their internships but Izumi talked to them and they accepted.

I had everything planned out for them. Their quirk training, weight training and so on until Izumi had a question. "Hey Izuku, could you teach me to use a sword like you?"

I thought about it for a second and knew I could. "What about you two?" I asked Shoka and Katsumi.

Katsumi looked hesitant but answered me. "W-well, I would like to learn too. The way you fought in the USJ and the sports festival was really cool."

"Yeah. I wanna learn to use a sword too."

I looked at the group and nodded. 'Since Stella already had some sword training, I would only need to refine her skills but, I'll need to train the three of them from the ground up like my master did for me.' "Alright, let's get to training, everyone."
