Still don't own Harry Potter.
Sirius would have made a great Hufflepuff.
You're thinking I'm bonkers. Sirius Black, a Hufflepuff? The same guy who nearly who nearly killed Snivellus last year, never seems to do any work, and above all, betrayed his own family? NO loyalty, people say. Nobody trusts him.
The people who doubt him (read: everybody) don't know how difficult the transition from Black to Gryffindor was. I know. I fought with him – literally, screaming and/or physical fights – every step of the way. Then there's the endless hours we spent on the Animagus transformation. We spent more time on that than in detention, and that is saying something.
It's storming, and I'm alone in the dorm. Remus is down studying – with Dria, of course – Peter offered to do something for Sprout, and Sirius is off explaining to his current girlfriend, Linda Shields, why he can't be with her tomorrow night.
Tomorrow is full moon. See what I mean about loyalty?
It strikes me sometimes. Like last year, when he and I were in the middle of the worst fight we'd ever had. I had been horrid to him; I know it now. But when my life came crashing down at my feet, he was the one to come back and apologize. Because there's only so much a guy can take at once. And I needed him then.
Sirius could have got Hufflepuff the recognition it deserves, but I have to say I'm glad he wound up here instead.
The end. If you read, you can review. Please? Pretty please?
