This is a one shot following South Hallway, 3rd door on your right.
Disclaimer- I don't own Harry Potter, unfortunately.
Knock
Harry spun around, his eyes falling on the door. He knew full well who was on the other side, but opening that door would be admitting that she too was dead.
Lily opened the door once again. There she stood, her red curls flowing down her back. Lily stepped away from the door and joined James, Sirius and Dumbledore in the corner to watch.
"Harry."
"Ginny."
"I'm dead, right?"
"Yeah."
"And I get to stay with you forever?"
"I wouldn't have it any other way."
"Me neither."
"You really shouldn't have done that though. Your family."
"You matter the most."
"But Gin..."
"It's your own fault. You prat."
"My fault? How...?"
"You're the one who got yourself killed in the first place."
"Hey! I killed the Voldemort!"
"I know you saved us all."
"Not you."
"Well, you did. That is until you were killed too."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be, it doesn't matter now. They made a statue in your memory."
"I saw."
"And you hate it."
"Of course."
"I knew it."
"You know me well."
"How could I not? I love you."
"I said the same thing to my dad, earlier."
"So you got to meet your parents."
"Yeah."
"That's wonderful Harry. Now I'll get to meet them too."
"You should be meeting them in fifty years."
"So should you."
"Hey, I died saving the wizarding world."
"We gone through this before, Harry."
"Well, it didn't change."
"I'm proud of you."
"Then it was all worth it. I'm glad to see you again, even if its too early."
"Then it was all worth it too."
They looked into each others eyes from where they stood 10 feet from each other.
"Oh Harry!"
"Ginny!"
Ginny ran into Harry's open arms and held him tight, both crying into each other's embrace. Unknown to them, but to Dumbledore because of his mind reading abilities, they were both thinking the same thing.
"Yes, it was all worth it."
