"We were supposed to meet at the wharf." Mozzie irritated, the beta stomped through the streets with a pissed off omega. They were at the wharf all night, they watched the sun fall and rise on the water's edge with no sign of the dashing ex-con man anywhere. They were really starting to worry now.
"We waited and there is no sign of him." Peter feeling anxious. They walked down the busy streets, the omega noticed no one was paying attention to him as much but that heat suppressant pill doesn't help how he is feeling. There was still some slick and he was sweating. He feels sick to his stomach, he stops to lean against a wall to suppress the nausea.
Mozzie stopped irritated, "He is the island most wanted and if you read 'Team Thefting 101' you would now you would not leave the rondue point."
"First that is not a thing and if you read 'Catching 'Neal Caffery 101' you would know." Peter gestured his hand to the waitress at the cafe. "Always start with the lover."
"Okay" Mozzie stopped, turned to Peter smirking "So where's Neal, Peter?"
Peter blushed bright pink. "Shut up, we aren't lovers, he was just acting like that because I was in heat." Peter looks down at his feet. "Plus he is straight and likes Alpha or Betas."
"Sure." Moz rolled his eyes and walked across the street to the cafe. "But you know people change, I mean Neal did"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Moz just shrugged and continued walking. Peter stood there thinking about what Mozzie just said. Peter was entering unknown territory that had no direction. Granted he liked the idea of having Neal be his alpha, he fantasized it even before Peter knew Neal's class. But now that it's here, he is having a hard time accepting it.
'Plus Neal doesn't like me like that.' Peter thought grimmly.
"Yo suit!" Mozzie said across the street.
Peter shook his thoughts away, there are many other things to be worrying about. The waitress is mixing drinks at the small bar, they approach her with purpose. She notices us before we say a thing, smiling at Moz then glaring at Peter.
"Senorita" Moz greeted.
"Barry what are you doing here?" Maya said.
"Barry?" Peter whispered silently laughing and smirked. 'What a name for Moz'
Moz ignored him. Maya glared at Peter then ignored him like he was nothing but a pile of shit on the sidewalk. Eventually she started spreading her scent. Peter wrinkled his nose in disgust. Maya just smirked turning to the beta.
"I thought you left with Neal last night?" Maya confused.
"That was the plan. I take it you saw him." Moz said.
She glanced over to Peter and snared. "Who exactly are you?"
"Peter we met yesterday, I'm with Neal." Peter said straightening up. She growled smally but soon became a smirk.
"O yes the in heat omega who stunk up my bar and caused a fight to break out. O yeah thanks."
Peter was taken back by this, he was never rude to her personally. They aren't even competition, Neal would choose her, right?
"Back to Neal." Mozzie cleared his throat, starting to feel claustrophobic with all the angry alpha scent, trying not to breathe too deeply.
She glared at me. "She wanted to meet you both but there were too many people looking for him. So I helped him and took him to Dobbs"
"Dobbs?" Peter questioned looking at Mozzie, rolling his eyes at the alpha pride.
The small man nodded. "Protector from the storm. He is probably still there."
"Will you let me know when you find him?" she asked gently touching Moz's arm "I don't want to lose him, I mean we shared such a special night."
"Sure." Mozzie nodded scooting away from her, brushing her hand off. Peter rolled his eyes, 'Of course he slept with her and now she has to rub it in."
Even though she is a bitch, Peter still could tell she was worried. "One thing I know about Neal, he knows how to run."
She looks confused but hopefully. She nods at Peter and goes back to work. Mozzie and Peter head over to Dobbs, figuring out the best way to get Neal and get the hell out before Collins finds out.
*Dobb's Mansion*
Neal sat on top of a crate in the mini jail cell, all four walls were bars. Neal shivered at the memories. He needed to get out and fast. He was handcuffed behind his back, with an old rag shoved in his mouth. Neal was sweating through his shirt, moving around until he felt a nail popping out the crate behind him. He slowly picked the handcuffs watching out for anyone that came by. A soft click sounded and Neal sighed in relief. One hand was free now, he shook it out getting the blood back in his hand. He stood taking out the filthy gag. He started looking around the cell, trying to find any breakpoint so he could escape. The alpha looked around making sure that no one was there or coming near. He went to the back of the cell and started to get the nuts loose on the bars by using the cuffs. He grunted as he held one side with the cuffs and the other with his hand. Bingo! He got one nut down, he scooted down the wall to the next one. Quickly looking behind his shoulder to check for anybody or any sounds. He grunted softly and got the nut to unscrew but before he could get it, it dropped out of the cell. Neal got to the ground outstretching his arm getting close. Then he heard the sound of footsteps, he got up quickly shoving the nasty gag into his mouth, sitting on the old wooden crate, and putting his hands behind his back making it seem the cuff was on.
"See? Just as we left him." Dobbs said, guiding a smudge Collins into the room. Dobbs unlocked the door to the cell. Collins slid in like the snake that he is.
"Two more hours Caffery. It's only a short flight to the Canary islands and then home sweet home." Collins grabbed the gag out of Neal's mouth and gave the alpha some water. Smirking at the stance he has on the ex con alpha. Neal wrinkled his nose and spit the water at Collins. Collins whipped his face and started laughing walking around the cell glancing at the bolt on the floor.
"I came for help, Dobbs." Neal looked at Dobbs.
"Don't know why you did. I will not hide a fugitive." Dobbs said.
"I paid you." Neal spat.
"To help establish yourself on the island." Dobbs spoke. "Never said anything about the U.S government."
Neal looked at Collins but went straight back to Dobbs. Collins started to push on the set of bars behind Neal. The wall came crashing down with a heavy clank. Collins glared at Neal angry and flaring his nostrils. Dobbs looked at Neal in surprise.
"You should get that fixed." Neal acting innocent.
"I told you I didn't want him here." Dobbs yelled and growled at Collins stalking behind the agent. The agent held up his hand and walked slowly over to Neal, suddenly he pounced and jerked Neal into a standing position into the corner of the cell.
"Caffery, you only have to be good for a couple of hours and as long as you have two good legs you're going to find a way to run" Collins lifted his gun out of the back of his pants aiming at Neal and growled.
Neal put his hands up in a defense mode, with one hand dangling with the long forgotten handcuff. "You're a Federal Agent."
"You were in the act of fleeing. You could be armed." Collins said cocky, quickly aiming his gun at Caffery's right leg. Before Neal could breathe, all he could hear was a shot.
"OHH… GOD..AHHHH!" Neal howled in pain, holding his leg watching blood ooze out of the wound and dripped down his white pants. He slumped to the floor grunting, trying to hold the tears back. He wouldn't give Collins that satisfaction.
"No more running." Collin smirked. Dobbs looked at Collins then at Caffery, with a completely blanked face.
*Moz & Peter Duo*
Mozzie and Peter were on top of the cliff walkway behind Dobbs's house, trying to get a good look to see if Neal was there. Currently Peter had the binoculars, spying on the house, trying to find any sign of devilish looking ex-con man.
"Let me guess you didn't get big brother's permission to use the satellite." Mozzie said leaning against the stone wall.
"This trip was not in big brother's favor." Peter said not paying total attention to Mozzie then looking over. "You know for a beta you are very annoying."
"Shut up. You're omega. How is that any better?" Mozzie grumbled smiling, shoving Peter's shoulder.
"Doesn't mean I can't take you out." Peter smirked, shoving back. They both lightly laughed. Suddenly Peter felt a sharp pain in his stomach and he doubled over. Mozzie grabbed Peter before he hit the floor.
"Sorry, just been having pains." Peter said, trying to catch his breath.
"Do you need to rest?" Mozzie concerned.
Peter shook his head and stood up, brushing off his clothes. He nodded to Moz and went back to spying. saw people set up tables and chairs in the plaza with decorations. "Looks like they are setting up for a party."
"Dobbs party where he pays all his minions or island officials." Mozzie making dramatic gestures then taking his tone to a serious note, "Look suit I have to ask you something once we get off this island, hypothetically, what are your intentions with Neal? Like your feelings for him. I just want to look out for my friend. I want to make sure he doesn't get into more trouble."
Peter glanced at Mozzie and could see the genuine concern. Peter sighed, resting the binoculars for a moment. He thought for a minute then let out a soft laugh. "I can see why El likes you." Mozzie looked shocked and blushed about to speak when Peter continued. "I really do care for Neal, I want the best for him which probably isn't me. But do know I have all good intentions, he is my friend too."
Mozzie snorted "Yeah 'friend'" putting friends in air quotes.
"Hey, it was only the heat!" Peter exclaimed
"Whatever you say suit," Moz patted the omega on the back. "I've known Neal for a long time and trust me when I say you were one of the best things to come in his life...after the jailing part of course."
Peter blushed at the words. He mumbled a quick thank you to the beta. Even with their differences, they have bonded. They both want the best for the people that they care for. Going back to looking at the house until he stumbled upon a person he graved to meet.
"Moz, 11 o'clock." Peter tapped Mozzie.
"Shit"
They saw Dobbs and Collins talking about something in a corner of the mansion, Dobbs was almost hiding behind a pillar. Mozzie started talking photos and trying to read the lips but he could only make out so much with being so far away.
"Collins... Dobbs handed Neal in." Mozzie sighed.
"How much did you pay that guy?"
"Not enough apparently."
"Alright but eventually they have to bring Neal out if they want to catch the next flight out."
"That when we make our move." Mozzie glanced over at Peter.
Mozzie and Peter started figuring out the best plan that they could with the time they have been given. Luckily no one knew who Moz was, so that helped some of the planning. They eventually reached a plan to put in action, all they have to do is wait. Peter smiled with a skip in his step ignoring the pain from the suppressants.
"I'm coming to get you Neal."
*Dobb's Mansion*
Caffery sat in Dobb's office, making indents in his fist from his teeth. He tried his best not to squirm while the female beta was trying to pull the bullet out. HSe was cleaning his wound and it burned like a motherfucker. His one hand was squeezing his leg, his knuckles turning white. She picked up the foresaps and dug right into the wound, pulling the bullet out. Neal slammed his fist on the table next to him. She examined the bullet and dropped it into the bowl.
"You're lucky it didn't hit anything life threatening." She began cleaning the wound again.
"Sure" Neal grunted sarcastically, while he thought 'Yea I am so lucky I got shot and it was not an artery and you pulled it out with no numbing agent. Oh no that doesn't hurt at all. Hooray, just fucking hooray.'
"It is going to hurt for the next few weeks but it will heal." She said grabbing the needle and thread. "Look away, focus on the boats."
"Fine." Neal turned forward looking at Dobb's mini boats in the bottle display. "Esmeralda…, Isabella…, Claudia, Annette…"
Dobbs walks in with an irritated face. "What are you saying?"
"I'm admiring your boats." Neal gave a scornful look to Dobbs. Neal wanted nothing more but to fucking stab the asshole alpha but he didn't want to get shot again and he wasn't exactly in fighting condition. The woman finished up the stitching, disinfected one late time.
"Stand up. Collins is waiting for you outside." Dobbs spat at Neal.
Neal looked around trying to not focus on the pain then he noticed a bowl of key goodies on the table near the door. He thought up a quick plan, It was a long shot but Neal really didn't have anything to lose at this point.
"Thank you doctor." Neal tried to stand, he grunted and plopped right down back into the seat with a hiss.
"Whoa. Stay off your feet. I mean it." The nurse growled. "No pressure or it will open again."
Neal looked at her then gestured towards Dobbs.
"Well that's going to be tricky. Being that I have to go walk to the car." Neal snarled, Dobbs walked over with a pissed off look. The Doctor just rolled her eyes and stopped paying attention. Dobbs yanked Neal out of the chair and gripped his arm hard. Neal hissed.
"Believe me this is the last time I ask you for help." Neal grunted, sliding his leg behind him.
"Good." Dobbs growled, dragging Caffery like a ragdoll.
"You didn't need to turn me in." Neal glances at the bowl trying to make sure he gets the right keys.
"This isn't a halfway house. You jeopardized me, my home." Dobbs stops and snarls at Neal, right by the bowl, like planned.
"How much did they offer you?"
"I don't need money."
"No, you need the U.S. law enforcement out of your hair. Wonder why?"
Dobb paused for a minute and swallowed. "They are looking for you not me."
Dobbs gave another tug to Neal's arm. Neal grunted and stubbled, Dobbs continued to drag him but at that exact moment, the ex-con grabbed and slipped the keys without anyone noticing. He quickly put them in his pocket before Dobbs noticed. He continued to be dragged to the small blue jeep where Collins stood waiting.
*Moz & Peter Duo*
"There's Neal zipped tied to the dash." Peter groaned. There was no way of getting out those zip ties without a knife, Collins learned quickly not to use handcuffs again.
"And there's Collins. They're hitting the road." Mozzie sighed as they watched Collins start the car getting ready, he looked over at Peter. "Hey. Are you going to be able to do this? You look really sick."
"Let's put it as this; I will never take a suppressant pill while in heat." Peter said leaning against the wall. He took a deep breath and stood up. It's been since yesterday that Peter took the heat suppressant pill and it is still making him sick. 'But at the same time Neal has been away for almost that long too.' Peter ignored the thought. "Let's go grab Neal."
"Okay" Mozzie said.
"Are you sure this plan will work." Peter asked. "Will it stop them?"
"Does a wine have tannins?"
Peter glared at Mozzie but then heard Collins start the car. He perked up, shoving Mozzie with him to the car, they started it up following a safe distance behind the Jeep. He heard the fruit, starting to drop in the distance. He smirked.
*Jeep to Hell*
Collins abruptly stopped the car behind a car and growled. "What the fuck is this?"
It seems that a certain fruit stand got knocked over laying in the street. Mangoes, watermelons, bananas, pineapples and more laid in the street. A couple people trying to help the owner, a little boy, pick up the fruit and get the stand up again.
"I don't know I have been stuck in a cell, shot, and tethered to a dashboard." Neal said yanking on the zip ties.
Collin honked his horn trying to get them going faster "COME ON!"
"You know those mangos aren't going to move themselves." Neal smirked. "I am happy to lend a hand if you'd – Ow." Collins tightens the zip ties even more, cutting into Neal wrist. Neal let out at small hiss in pain.
"Don't make me shoot you again." Collins got out of the car moving towards the small crowd. "Hey! Move those carts." He growled "What is this? Andale!"
A certain small beta taps on blue Jeep to let Neal know that they are there to save his ass. Neal followed the person with his eyes then wore a devilish smirk who exactly will be the one uncutting his ties. He started sniffing the air waiting for that intoxicating smell.
"Excuse me, sir, are you yelling at these children?" Mozzie asked Collins.
"Don't you get into it, Beta." Collins hissed, he didn't like 'Lower Status' people telling him what to do.
"You aren't from here are you?" Mozzie questioned, completely unfazed by the snide remark. "Well show some decency and help clean up." Mozzie pushed a box at him,
"Come on, I got a plane to catch." Collins argued.
"I hope you end up paying this kid for so—sir!" Mozzie said, giving a wink to Hector. He looked at Collins "Help me with these watermelons"
The last thing that Mozzie said before scuttling past the cars to Collins and the "accidental" fruit stand fell "Don't you start making out with Neal in my car!"
Peter blushed deep red. After a couple moments, he heard Mozzie yelling at Collins about picking up fruit. He smiled, jumping over the side of the car. Looking both ways for goonies in the shadow, crouched down and jogged to the Blue Jeep. It seemed the closer to Neal he got the more the sharp pains from before went away. He stopped at Neal's side and was about to annocent his presents when he looked up and saw Neal staring at him with a wolf grin, Peter blushed hard and swallowed, frozen.
"What took you so long?" Neal spoke softly to Peter, trying his best to touch Peter. The alpha chuckled and gestured zip ties, "Mind helping me here?"
Peter stared at Neal then zip ties a couple times, then realized what he was there for. He looked around making sure that Collins was still busy with the fruit, sliding his out his small pocket knife flipping it open. "We have a car parked a block from here and we're going to have to make it quick."
Peter leaned in over Neal and cut through the zip ties easily, he swore he felt Neal sniff his hair. The blue eyed man rubbed his wrist then turned to Peter sliding his injured leg, sitting sideways.
"Yeah but quick may be a problem." Neal said, gesturing to his leg. Pete instantly saw what he was referring to, his stomach dropped at the sight of the bloody bandages.
"You were shot." Peter cringed at the word "I- I expected you to be mobile."
Peter grabbed Neal giving him a hug trying to comfort the alpha. He rubbed his head against his chest, getting on his tiptoes. Neal started to blush at the action and held the omega, he looked over at the wreckage in front to make sure Collins was still distracted. Mozzie always knew how to keep a person distracted.
"Well, Collins thought ahead." Neal leaned down, kissing the top of Peter's head, then ruffled his hair.
"Maybe I should call it." Peter choked up a little bit at the thought and dug deeper into the alpha, clenching harder.
"What? No. No, I am not going back to prison." Neal pleaded. "I'm not letting go of you again."
Peter looked up from his place in Neal's chest. "Are you sure?" Not sure which part he was referring to.
"Yes." Neal raised one of his hands, caressed Peter's red cheek.
"We should start going." Peter said letting go of Neal, getting him out of the Blue Jeep.
"Yea." Neal grunted when he put pressure on his bad leg.
"So what is the plan?" He put his hand around Neal's waist, and neal's arm around his shoulder. Practically half carrying him to the retro light and blue convertible. They quickly make their way to the car.
"The marine. I have access to a yacht." Neal said proudly "I stole the keys to Dobbs boat. I don't think he'll mind."
"I have to text Mozzie. He hates it when you deviate from the plan." Peter said.
"And he really hates it when I drive his car." Neal gets in the backseat laying down but with a painful expression and holding his injured leg.
Peter backed up and sped to the Marine. In the distance, Peter could faintly hear a person scream; "CAFFERY!" Peter smirked and dashed through the streets, rounding the corners like a drag racer. The car jerked to a stop when they got the marine.
Peter rushed out of the car and headed to the back of the retro car where Neal laid. He helped Neal get out of the car, carrying him to the small building with the balcony that overlooked the boats. They get to the metal railing where Neal rests his hand on, the other one slowly, sneakily sliding down Peter's shoulders onto his waist. The omega leaned into it purring then the arm was suddenly gone before he could catch a glance at Neal. Neal flips him around, slamming him into the railing. He softly moans at the pain. Neal crawls up onto him balancing one leg until he towered over him, licking his lips. He grinned going in for Peter's neck.
"You know your scent is very intoxicating." Neal spoke huskily into his ear, proceeding to bite the spot behind his ear.
Peter bite down a moan. "Nea- Neal we have t-to get back t-to the pl-plan."
"Don't want to." Neal said, gliding his tongue up Peter's Neck, nibbling at the spot near his bonding gland, bringing one hand to grope the whimpering omega's ass making the poor thing squirm.
Peter pushed him slightly to get the Alpha to focus. "Neal, the only reason you want me is because of my heat. The pill must not be working."
Neal stopped mid-bit, slowly pulling back with his tongue hanging out a bit. He looked up at the agent confused. "Peter you aren't in heat anymore."
"Then why are yo-"
"You know if I have to see you two like this often take the decency and tell me or something. Even a sock on a door." Mozzie interrupted. The two men looked at each other then slowly coming apart with a sigh. "Also you ditch me. You stole my car. I had to take a taxi. That was not part of the plan. So what the hell happened to you?"
"Hi Mozzie." Neal sighed, he still wouldn't let Peter get too far. He wrapped his arms around Peter's waist and slid his chin onto his shoulders, facing Mozzie. He leaned against the railing with his bed leg on the outside of Peter. (His favorite spot) Peter followed suit and put his hands on Neal's.
'I'm not in heat? Then why is he doing this? What is happening?' Peter's thoughts going a mile a minute with so many questions that needed answers.
"I'll explain, later." Neal whispered nibbling on the omega's earlobe.
"Neal, are you listening?" Mozzie yelled, tapping his foot on the ground with his arms crossed.
Neal smirks and goes back to the shoulder.
"I'm sorry. What was that again?" Neal asked innocently.
"Maybe if you didn't keep holding your FBI boy toy then you could listen." Mozzie snapped back.
"Hey!" Peter spoke
Mozzie just rolled his eyes. "Nevermind that, we got to get Neal off of you so—." Mozzie stepped one foot towards them and Neal growled real loud and clenched Peter tighter. Mozzie took several steps back.
Peter laughs "It's not like you haven't been warned before."
Mozzie slumped over and rolled his eyes. "Fucking alpha bullshit."
"What was that?" Neal stares and smiles.
"I said-"
Peter interrupted Mozzie "Okay guys, back to the plan." He moved out of Neal's arms to the front of the railing. "Neal whi-"
"Hang on FBI boy toy Neal didn't answer my question before." Mozzie demanded. Peter looked at the two in question. "Which one?"
Mozzie pointed at Neal, "What happened that made you drive off in my car?"
"I got shot." Neal said, pointing his right leg.
"Oh" Mozzie paused. "Welcome to the club."
"It's good to be a member." Neal said sarcastically, moving to right next to Peter on the railing.
Peter rolled his eyes "Do you know which one is Dobb's boat?"
"No" Neal said, leaning against the railing.
Peter sighed, he took Mozzie binoculars and started looking out on the water, for any sign of a 'flashy' boat that an island millionaire would own. He started to get frustrated (Looking silently like an anime girl frustrated) "Do yo-"
Neal gave Peter a quick peck on the month, making the omega freeze in his tracks. "You are so cute."
"Neal!" Mozzie yelled, shaking his hand and stomped his foot.
"What?" Neal with a million dollar grin on his face.
Peter blushed hard and coughed "Let's just on with the plan."
"Okay First we need to find Dobbs boat." Neal said rubbing Peter's back.
"O, well, the middle one doesn't have deep-sea-fishing mounts, and Dobbs went out last week."
"Scratch the middle that leaves with about a dozen." Peter sighed
Neal took the binoculars from Peter and started looking around at the many boats, stopping at a white boat with the word 'Maria' in cursive navy blue writing. "The model boats in Dobbs's library—they all had women's names." Neal said.
"Oh yeah...um.. There was Claudia, Annete, Adele…" Mozzie read the names from what he could remember.
"Esmerelda, Isabella…" Neal continued.
Peter gasped, remembering an old tune he learned at bootcamp. He started singly softly *"Isabella, I can tell- a Esmerelda find Adele- a"*
"Peter, this is not the time." Neal looked up.
"What?" Mozzie looked confused. The two con men looked at each other, wondering what the hell was happening. Neal gestured to Peter. "Hey don't look at me, he is your omega."
Neal grumbled at him.
Peter ignoring their actions *"Mirabella, so Compella"* Peter hopped up turning to Neal grabbing him, being weary of the bad leg. "Was there a Mirabella?"
"Yeah." Neal looked completely confused.
"Rob's Fair Ladies." Peter grabbed both of Neal's cheeks and gave him a big smooch, Peter started jumping in excitement.
"Did he get into the rum?" Mozzie asked.
"I don't know but I like the kiss effects." Neal said dreamily.
Peter suddenly got serious, hunching a bit and putting his hands forward. "These were the names of Dobbs's boats."
"Yeah. How'd you know that?" Neal said, calming Peter down and rubbing his back affectionately.
"Who cares? Why did you just defile a nursery rhyme?" Mozzie criticized, pointing a finger at Peter. Neal looked at the man. "What?!"
"Forget the boat." Peter said, side hugging Neal. "I think I might have a way to get you back to New York."
