Disclaimer: No Titans here, just wishes.
Just a little ditty I was inspired to write by MutilatedBliss. She dared me to write a story where Robin's eyes are grey, so here it is! Review please! –Ash

She is drowning in the grey;
The deep swirls of almost blue swallowing her in a single glance,
Leaving no chance
For her to return to the world she once knew.
Lost
The dark surrounds her, fire swirling in the deep colors of the pools she struggles in.
Drown
She can not escape from the grappling color, nor does she want to.
Gone
She is perfectly content with her fate, the never ending journey
Of struggling for air in
The deep grey sea.
Death
This is where she finds release,
Sought after peace
From her life and from the villains she must fight daily.
Him
This is where she longs to be
While controlling fate,
This deep airless jail she loves.
Safe
No one can reach her here;
It is her safe house away
From life.
Escape
There is no rescue from the confines
Of these orbs, no man to drag her up
And save her.
Love
But she needs no hero to save her,
A simple woman resigned to her fate,
Drowning in the grey.
Leave
It leaves her breathless, with every breath he takes,
More life in the grey,
Less control will stay
With her as she falls deeper into the pools.

Raven finishes her piece with her customary three dashes at the bottom of the page and looks up from her desk. Robin is standing in her doorway, leaning against the cool metal frame. She smiles softly at him and closes her notebook, returning the ink and pen to their case in her drawer. The cloaked woman rises from the chair and lightly steps over a spell book before approaching the masked figure at her door.
"Hey, stranger." His voice is soft and low, barely breaking the former silence Raven loves to work in. In turn, she greets him with an equally soft 'hello' before brushing past him out into the steadily lightening hallways. He turns and follows her down the hall to the roof where they stand side by side, watching the sun continue to grow over the horizon. The light dances across the ocean, the deep grey giving way to blue as day breaks.
Grey skies turn pink and orange as rosy Dawn stretches her fingertips as far as they will reach, the points of light bathing the island and city in warmth and the promise of a beautiful summer day drops into the resident housing as a young boy flings papers into rose bushes as he pedals his way down the streets. Raven watches the grey of night turn to the pink of morning and she turns to Robin.
His mask has since fluttered forgotten to the floor, and she finds herself staring into a grey that will never give way to pink, nor blue, nor orange. She finds herself breathless once more with the pull of emotion and color drawing her closer to the superhero in front of her. And once more, she finds herself drowning without a breath as his lips find hers in the early morning light and his grey eyes close with hers, the color forever imprinted in her mind.
