Brawl at the Tavern
(Author's Note: Hard to believe I head the double digits in the story, also been a bit since I got a review, I don't mind the reviews, it let's me know how you readers think of the story, however the Guests on the other hand, previous chapters would explain. But for any of the account holders, feel free.)
The following day, the Academy was a buzz over two rumors going around, the first shocked the Ras and Slifers but pissed the Obelisks off; The number one student being an Obelisk lost a duel to a Slifer. The Slifers were the most thrilled by this rumor, some of them thinking this could get the Obelisks to back off, while the rest believed it could make them become like the Obelisks themselves but didn't want to act in such a way. The Ras looked over the video that Mai recorded trying to figure out how the duel went the way it did. The Obelisks, believed it was all a lie. A Slifer couldn't beat Zane without cheat as they believed, however, a few began to theorize that if they beat the Slifer they would be the new number one student as a Slifer would be a mockery of the Academy. The second rumor; was the Tag Duel in three days. Some were excited wondering why this Tag Duel was happening, and who would be doing it. Near the Slifer Dorm, Draco found a hidden pathway, while talking with Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy on his PDA; trying to find a perfect spot to duel Syrus and without any Obelisks trying to duel them or to bring Syrus down more. Draco followed the path down the rocky cliffside finding a large open seaside cavern.
"I think I found the perfect place for our duel training." Draco said.
"It's well hidden?" Alexis asked.
"Yeah the path is hard to find, But I think I can leave a subtle mark on a nearby tree that will lead us to the path."
"But how will we see it?" Mindy asked.
"I'll make the mark when everyone is with me so that way—"
"We'll be able to know what to look for." Jasmine interrupted him.
"Exactly." Draco responded, "I think this spot is large enough. Hell, just find a down tree trunk nearby, get some help to drag it down here, and there would be spot for friends to sit and watch."
"You want us to sit on a dirty piece of wood?!" Mindy and Jasmine asked.
"I'm not uncivilized, I can try to get some help to clean it up and crave it into a seat."
"You can do that?" Alexis asked.
"No, I sucked at woodshop." Draco admitted hanging his head in shame, hearing the girls giggle lightly, "But, at least I could get it cleaned up."
"I don't suppose Bastion could help with that seat?" Alexis asked with a slight tease.
"Honestly I was going to give him a call, to have him analyze this place to see if it would work." Draco replied, and hearing his PDA chimed which the girls heard.
"What was that?" Jasmine asked.
Draco looked at his screen reading; "Incoming Call: Bastion Misawa!"
"Well speak of the devil." Draco joked, "He's trying to call in right now."
"Talk about luck." Alexis stated, "We'll let you talk to him and we'll make our way to the Slifer dorm."
"Alright, Alexis." Draco said, "Love you."
"Aww~!" Jasmine and Mindy cooed out, causing Alexis' cheeks to brighten slightly.
"L-love you too, Draco." She replied, slightly embarrassed.
Both of them ended the call, Draco chuckled softly, before accepting Bastion's call.
"What's up, Smart Guy." Draco said, jokingly but friendly.
"So, rumor has it a certain Slifer won against Zane Truesdale, Duel Academy's number one student." He replied smirking.
"And based on your analyzation you came to the conclusion it was me?"
"There's that." He replied, making Draco raise a brow, "And the video that a Ra recorded of the duel, behind Zane."
"Wait, someone recorded it?" Draco asked, "Indeed." Bastion replied, "Care to explain?"
Draco told Bastion why the duel happened, and even explain what was intended, "I was just going to talk to him to back off from Syrus and if he didn't or said anything like a waste of time, then I would have challenged him."
"Hmm, so you just happen to be there right as he told Syrus to give up and go home?" Bastion asked.
"Yeah, and the next thing I knew, I just punched that asshole." Draco replied, "Anyways, is that why you called to confirm your theory?"
"Indeed, I did, dear friend." He answered, "Unless you have something to ask me?"
"I do." Draco told him, "I found this great seaside cavern, I'm going to turn my screen around so you can analyze it and see if it's big enough to be a dueling practice grounds and if friends could sit and watch."
"Well, let me see it."
Draco flipped the screen over, allowing Bastion to see the area, as he slowly pans his PDA so Bastion could see the whole area, all the while hearing Bastion pondered the area.
"Hmm, area is large enough for a full field on both sides. Spells and Traps are good as well, nothing will go over the sea side and disrupt the hologram." Bastion noted, "And what about this watching area you spoke off?"
Draco panned his PDA to the cliffside wall and cavern above as Bastion looked it over, "Hmm, maybe I might have to look at it myself."
"Could it be sometime today?" Draco asked, "Don't tell anyone, but the Tag Duel everyone is talking about, Syrus and I are the ones doing it."
"What's the reason?"
"We may have entered the Abandon Dorm, but for a good reason, and Crowler wanted us expelled, however Ms. Fortaine and Alexis had proof that lighten it to a Tag Duel."
"So, you have to duel in order to stay." Bastion finished.
"Yup." Draco replied.
"Alright, I'll have a look. Should I head to the Slifer dorm?"
"That would be great, and I'll see if I can find a trunk big enough for those not dueling to watch."
The two ended the call, Draco began to walk up the path back into the forest, looking at the tree that was right on the hidden path, he thought about the symbol he was going to use, before something else caught his eyes. Looking at some down branches and some vines, he removed them carefully and saw a log carved bench. It was in bad shape but easily to repair.
"Huh? What are the odds?" Draco asked himself, "We just need to be careful in moving this down there, and sand it down."
Back at the Slifer dorm, Syrus sat on the ground, his duel disk in front of him, unaware above him on the second floor, Dark Magician Girl looked at him and sighed out.
"You really care for him, don't you?"
The sudden voice, caused her to gasped out and look behind her, seeing Kendov leaning against the wall.
"H-how did you?"
"The Young Lord is in the same room as Syrus." He replied, "Sometimes we just appeared here to get our thoughts out."
"Oh, I see." Magician Girl replied, "And which one are you?"
"The Fighter of the Dragon Guard, Kendov." He replied.
"I guess you know who I am?"
"Of course. The apprentice of the Dark Magician." Kendov replied, "Who Sophitia believed to be an assassin."
Dark Magician Girl relaxed a little and looked back at Syrus as she leaned over the rails.
"I'm just worry if this training that your owner—"
"Lord Draco, isn't my owner." Kendov corrected her, "He is the son of Queen Saffira. I have severed her for years and I have sworn to serve her bloodline."
"Hold on, his mother is Duel Spirit?" She asked.
"Lord Krono, is also one as well."
"Both of his parents?!" she gasped, "But, that makes him—"
"In normal circumstances, he would be, but being born in the Human world, he is by all accounts a human."
"Does he know?"
"He does, Queen Saffira and Lord Krono never hid that fact that they are Duel Spirits, the outside world however they have hidden that fact for 30 human years." Kendov explained.
"Is he also aware of other Spirits?" she asked.
"He is." Kendov replied, "In fact if he was here, there is no doubt he would see the two of us talking."
Kendov noticed that four other students were walking up to the dorm as he huffs in amusement, "Seems like the Young Lord's court is here."
Alexis, Bastion, Mindy, and Jasmine arrived at the dorm, just as Mana, left her dorm room, waving at them and met them at the ground level, as they looked and sat next to Syrus.
"What's on your mind, Sy?" Mana asked him.
"I'm having second thoughts about his whole training Draco planned for me." He replied, "I'm not a great duelist."
"Again, with this?" Mindy asked him.
"Hey, Syrus?" Jasmine said as he looks at her, "You may not have known this, but during your promotion duel? Mindy and I were secretly rooting for you to win."
Syrus looked at them, slightly shocked, "Y-you were?"
"Yeah, but because we were around other Obelisks, we kept it to ourselves." Both girls smiled at him.
"Plus, you did manage to bring out the Dark Magician Girl I gave you." Mana added, "And it seemed when you did your attitude changed."
"I never noticed." He admitted, "I just feel like I could end the duel with her is all."
"Hey, the gangs all here."
All five heads turned as Draco returned to the dorm, "Everyone ready?"
"Yeah, we are." Alexis replied, as Mindy and Jasmine smiled with thumbs up.
"Ready for anything." Mana added.
"100% into your planning." Bastion added.
"I guess so.' Syrus said, picking is duel disk up.
Draco nod his head, "By the way, Bastion? Did you bring what I asked?"
"I did. One wireless Sander." He stated, "But, what do you need it for?"
"Just follow me and the answer will be clear."
The group of friends walked down the forest path, as they walked, Mana did what she could to keep Syrus' spirits up, Jasmine and Mindy admitted that even though the Slifer dorm looks like a motel building, they agree it has the best view on the island, Alexis couldn't help but agree with that statement, while Bastion showed Draco a graph paper with every measurement he made from the PDA scan of the cavern and believes everything can fit down there. Draco noticed the tree that marked the path, and Bastion handed a chisel he happens to have on him and lightly made a runic symbol on it.
"Alright, this tree is where the path begins, I placed a faint rune on it that if you take your time and look for it you can see it." Draco told them, as they all lean closer to the tree and notices the rune he craved.
"Smart." Alexis commented.
"Indeed, I almost had to scan the tree a third time before I finally saw it." Bastion added.
"I may have to come back, every now and then to lightly crave it back in, so we can see it." Draco stated, "Now, for the Sander. It's over here."
Leading them from the hidden path, Draco showed them the old log bench, and Draco explained that his view of it, it was in good condition just needed a sand down. Everyone seemed to agree, and with their help, got all the vines off, then Bastion and Draco carefully cared it down the hidden path, Mindy and Jasmine guiding Bastion down, as Draco tried to keep his grip and footing so no one got hurt. After a bit they manage to get it down in one piece and putting safety goggles on, Bastion began to sand to bench down to remove the rough wood and splintering edges, taking only five minutes.
"There we go, good as new." He announced, "And it's large enough for all five of us."
"Man, talk about a lucky find, Draco." Alexis joked.
"I know, I was worried we might have to make one from scratch." He replied, then turning to Syrus, "You ready, little buddy?"
"As ready as I'll be." He replied sighing out.
"And a little warning." Draco stated, activating his duel disk as everyone looked at him, "I'm not going easy."
"Y-you're not?" Syrus asked with slight panic.
"This training is to help your performance anxiety and being under pressure."
Syrus gulped as his arm holding his duel disk shaking wildly as it also activated.
"Just stay calm, Syrus!" Mana called out, "This is nothing but a duel between friends, no pressure what-so-ever!"
"You did hear, Draco's going all out, didn't you?" Mindy asked her.
"I'm trying to get him to relax!" Mana replied through her teeth.
"DUEL!"
"D-d-duel."
Draco LP:4000
Syrus LP:4000
"Alright, here we go." Draco announced drawing his first card, in his starting hand, plus drawn card; Drake the Dragon Guard Recruit, Draining Shield, Dinok the Berserk Dragon Guard, Heimwahl the Dragon Guard Blacksmith, Summon the Dragon Guard, and Tavern of the Dragon Guards.
"Hmm, one of my Field Spells right off the start."
"This is it, you guys." Alexis told the others, "Get ready to give Syrus your support."
"I active the Field Spell, Tavern of the Dragon Guards!"
Draco slid the card into the Field section of his duel disk as the entire area around them all, turned into a medieval tavern with the works and patrons being anthropomorphic people and even some feral dragons. The entrance of the tavern was rather large for the fully grown feral dragons to enter, some stalls from them to rest and tables for anyone to eat, drink, and talk. The lively chatter fell silent as all eyes turned to Draco and Syrus, he visibly started to panic.
"Oi, if it isn't Draco!"
Draco turned behind him, seeing the bartender and tavern owner waving at him, being an anthro wolfman, "Haven't seen you in over five years, boy. Word was that you were last seen in the Town a few months ago."
"A few months ago?" Alexis asked.
"Wasn't that when Draco dueled Chazz?" Mana asked.
However, Mindy was puzzled more as she pressed her hand against the table that was placed in front of them by the field spell, and her hand didn't faze through.
"Hey guys." She said, "I'm physically touching this table."
"I find that hard to believe, Mindy." Bastion stated, "it's all a hologram, watch as I—"
Bastion was cut off by a sharp pain, from banging his fist into the table with all his might, and groaned out, before slamming his head against it, "I wish I didn't do that." He whimpered.
"I had to change the hologram settings in my duel disk." Draco told them, "This field is now a simulation, you can interact with anyone and anything."
"Why would you do that?!" Syrus asked.
"Syrus, when I was younger than you, I also had performance anxiety." He explained, "My parents would do this until I finally got over it."
"Seems like another scaredy-cat here!" a patron on the second floor yelled out, only to get smacked by a barmaid.
"Dumbass! Draco just said, he has issues when in front of crowds!" she hissed.
"Another outburst like that and I'll have you thrown out!" the Bartender stated.
The others looked at each other surprised at this new info from Draco.
"Man, Draco had anxiety as well?" Jasmine asked.
"That would explain why he doesn't panic when a crowd is watching or panic when the odds are against him." Mindy stated.
"So, in theory," Bastion theorized, "what helped him, he hopes helps Syrus."
"I now summon, Drake the Dragon Guard Recruit in attack mode!" Draco announced, returning to the duel.
A dragon appeared once more, red scales, cream color under belly, wearing a dragon theme armor being black in color and golden trims, miniature dragons, on his right shoulder pardon, and shin guards, the inner thigh of his armor was a golden scale armor. The hilt of his sword even had a dragon design as its sheath was brown leather with golden trims stood proud, and ready for battle as he unsheathed his sword, until he saw Syrus.

"What the?" Drake question, before looking at Draco, "Are we really dueling such a small fry?"
"He happens to be my friend, Drake!" Draco snarled at the Recruit, "And he happens to be my friend, so show him respect!"
"Are you serious?!" Syrus yelled out, causing Draco, Drake and the patrons of the tavern to look at him, "Even your own monster thinks I'm a joke! If a stupid hologram in this simulation you put up, doesn't take me seriously, then what hope do we have in the Tag Duel!?"
"As his name states Syrus, he is the Recruit." Draco stated, getting him to calm down slightly, "He wants to prove himself to the other Dragon Guards, so he is a little naïve!"
The last statement made Drake slightly flinch, "Anyways, just relax, calm down, and try to give me your best shot, Sy. I end my turn with this face down."
Syrus gulped as he looks at his deck, Draco notices his shivering and loud panting, even his hand reaching for his card was wildly shaking.
"Syrus!" Draco called out, getting him to gasp loudly and look at him, as Draco began to motion his hand and body, silently telling him to take deep breaths and relax.
Syrus nods, and begins to loudly take deep breaths, causing Drake to get the signature anime sweat drop.
"Oh man." Jasmine said, "Syrus is a total wreak."
"At least he is trying." Mindy commented.
"Would the five of you like to have a drink while you wait on your friends?"
They all looked from the duel, seeing a black panther bar maiden looking at them holding a serving tray to her chest.
"Umm, could you give us a second?" Alexis asked, unsure how to truly answer her. She smiles warmly and nods her head, as they all huddle.
"Are we even able to drink anything in this hologram?" Alexis asked them.
"We are able to touch the table." Mindy stated.
"And Draco did say we can interact with anything and anyone." Bastion reminded them.
"But if this is supposed to be a tavern like with knights and all that," Jasmine began, "wouldn't that mean all they serve is alcohol?"
Mana however, looked at the panther girl, "Do you have water?"
"Yes, we do." She replied, "So five waters then?"
They all nod their heads, making her tail swish behind her, "Alright, I'll be right back with your order."
Syrus' breathing finally began to become more relaxed, and drew his card, his current hand; Truckroid, Gyroid, Drillroid, Pot of Greed, Machine Conversion Factory, and Shield Crush.
"Hmm, guess this is all I can do." Syrus said, placing a monster face down.
Draco wasn't convinced that was all he could have done, as he drew his next card. Looked at his new card, being Sahlos, he smiled before placing her in his hand and reached for a different card.
"I'll summon Heimwahl, the Dragon Guard Blacksmith, in Defense mode!" he announced.
Placing the card sideways, but didn't see the blacksmith next to Drake.
"Oi, Bartender! A pint of your finest Ale!"
The sudden voice, caused Draco to jump and spin around seeing his blacksmith at the bar.

"I'm in Defense mode, lad." He replied, "And it's been sometime since I had a good pint of Ale. I'm not going to get destroyed anytime soon."
Draco sighed out shaking his head, and looked back at Syrus, "I pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon Sahlos, the Dragon Seductress."
Placing the card, he just drew on the field, the Dragoness appeared as she sat lean on a table nearby.

Drake slams his sword into the cartoonish helicopter, but nothing happened. He began to try and impale the glaring machine repletely.
"Umm, I have more attack points that this thing's defense." Drake stated, "Why isn't it getting destroyed?"
"That's Gyroid's Special Ability, you'll need to attack him twice to destroy him." Syrus answered, smiling.
Drake hops off of Gyroid and embarrassedly walks back to Draco's side of the field, "Wish you would have said that, before I embarrassed myself." He softly spoke.
"Alight Sy, make your move." Draco told him.
Syrus nods his head, drawing his card, looking it over and began to think on his next move. Their friends watched, well most of them, Bastion was still puzzled on the solid table and trying to figure out how it was solid even though it's a hologram.
"Sorry for the wait."
They looked at the panther girl returning, placing the serving tray down on the edge of the table and placed a mug of water in front of each of them.
"I had to wait for the water to get cold, before serving it." The bar maid told them, "If there is anything else, don't hesitate to call on me."
After she left them, Mana was the first to actually touch and left the mug up, after which Mindy put her finger into the mug and felt the water.
"This may sound crazy," she said, "But I don't think this is a hologram."
"But, that's impossible, we saw Draco activated the field spell." Alexis stated.
"I have so many theories going through my head right now." Bastion stated, "When this is all done, I have to test them."
"I think this will help." Syrus said, "I'll activate my Continuous Spell card, Roid Upgrade."
The spell's image was that of many of the Roid monsters on a conveyor belt, with welders, upgrading the Roid monster in the front.
"What this card does, it gives all of my Roid monsters, 300 extra attack and defense points."
Gyroid ATK/1000-1300 : DEF/1000-1300 (Continuous Spell Boost)
"I'll now use, Pot of Greed, to draw two cards."
Draco gave a small smirk as Syrus began to take this training seriously, as Syrus drew two new cards.
"I'll summon Steamroid in Attack mode!" Syrus announced, summing his second monster, being just as cartoonish as Gyroid, but being a locomotive train instead, standing on its rear wheels as the front wheels were acting as arms.

"I'm not even done powering him up." Syrus called back, "I now activate Machine Conversion Factory, giving my Steamroid, 300 more attack and defense."
Steamroid ATK/2100-2400 : DEF/2100-2400
"Oh great, it's stronger than me." Drake bluntly stated.
"Quit your complaining, lad." Heimwahl spat out, getting a third pint, "Still not enough to actually harm us."
"Funny that you say that." Syrus remarked, "I active Shield Crush!"
"And what does that card do Sy?" Draco asked, while the blacksmith began to gulp down his third pint of Ale.
"It lets me destroy a monster you control that's in Defense mode." Syrus stated, which caused Heimwahl to spit the Ale in his mouth out before coughing out.
"Are you fucking with me, boy-o?!" he asked.
Without any warning Heimwahl shattered to pieces, destroyed by Syrus' spell card.
"Now Steamroid!" Syrus yelled out, "Attack, Sahlos!"
The cartoonish train blows its whistle, and began to charge towards Sahlos, with her not caring until the Special Ability kicked in.
Steamroid ATK/2400-2900
It slammed both of its "arms" into Sahlos, causing her to groan out before shattering as well, Draco braced himself with the shockwave grunting out.

"Nice try, Sy." Draco commented, "But now I Special Summon Dinok, the Berserk Dragon Guard!"

Draco looked back at the bartender, "What the hell do you mean, you just fixed it?" he asked, "You said it's been five years since I was last here. You're saying it took you five years to fix a simple hole?"
A puma bar maid walks by and as blunt as possible, "He still doesn't have insurance."
The wolf anthro owner lays his head on the bar and whimpers to himself. Draco sighs out and slightly chuckles before returning to the duel.
"Is that all Sy?"
He was shaking at the sight of the large armored muscular dragon huffing angrily at him.
"Y-yeah, that's a-all." Syrus stuttered out.
Draco smiled and drew his card, "I active Card of Sanctity." After which he drew four cards and Syrus drew his two, Draco noticed something off, one of the cards Syrus drew, he saw fear and utter dread in his eyes. Draco ignored it for now.
"I now activate Double Summon." Draco announced, "I first summon Rith, the Slasher Dragon Guard."
This Dragon appeared same height as Drake, however had wings, he wore a full set of armor, by that, no one could see what scale colors he had, pale gold with light green trims and his two swords that matched his armor and trim.

"Well, to give you a hint," Draco teased, "One can attack all of your monsters, but can't attack you directly, and the other can attack twice, and only deal half the damage."
Draco could tell that Syrus was terrified, but Draco went a little easy, "Dinok, attack Steamroid!" Draco ordered, "Berserk Claw Barrage!"
Dinok let out a furious roar, and leap out towards the train, kicking up debris, causing Draco to grunt out, as Dinok closed in on the train rearing his right extended claw.
"Aw, f-*toot* me." Steamroid whined, before the claw tore through the little train.

"If I attack with Dinok, I lose 500 Life points." He explained, "It's sort of the draw back for his power up for his fallen allies."
"If that's true," Mana called out, getting the dueling field to look at her, "Why haven't you paid for when you attack with him during the duel with Chazz?"
"I was wearing the Berserker's Gauntlets!" Dinok snarled out, "He no longer has to pay for my attacks, but I can't attack him directly!"
The sudden snarl caused the group of friends to lean back in the bench, in fear, "Dinok, knock it off." Draco told him, "I could have simply told them of your Special Ability."
He just huffs at Draco and looks back at Syrus, "Alright Sy, your turn." Draco called.
Syrus drew his card, which was Polymerization, as Draco's Card of Sanctity, gave him Monster Reborn.
"I'll use Monster Reborn, to revive Steamroid." Syrus said, as his train monster returned and went pale seeing Dinok glaring at it, "I now use Polymerization to fuse my two monsters together and Summon Steam Gyroid!"
Syrus' new monster looked much like Steamroid, the only difference is it had the copter tail fins at the back, and his "arms" were replaced with the copter blades, having all four of them in the middle.

"I have a name you kn—OH SHIT!" Drake yelled out as the copter arms spun rapidly, towards him.
"Sorry, Syrus." Draco said, "I activate my face down card, Draining Shield!"
Syrus gasped out as a barrier appeared at the last second, stopping the attack, as Drake sighed out heavily in relief, "Don't wait until the last second to use that card!"
Draco LP:1700-4200
Syrus ended his turn, at this point Draco knew something was up and drew his card which was his Polymerization.
"I activate Polymerization, and fuse the Slasher brothers together!" Draco announced as the two dragons turned into beams of light shooting into the swirling clouds that formed in the Tavern, before lightning began to shoot everywhere.
"Descend to the field of battle and strike with your lightning blades! Strunqah, the Lightning Dragon Guard!"
The new Dragon Guard emerged from a bolt of lightning full body armor, Main color being a shining silver, secondary being gold, and the third, being a violet with neon blue in some of the seems of the armor his two large blades one in each hand, matching the main color of the armor and the arm guards being the gold, the blades having the blue glow in it.

Syrus hits the ground with a grunt.

As Syrus' Life Points hit zero, the tavern began to disappear, and cause Bastion to faze the through the table as their mugs vanished. When the cavern returned to normal, Draco walked up to Syrus as his little buddy sighed out.
"I knew this was going to happen." Syrus sighed out, however Draco wasn't having it, he looked at the card Syrus dropped after the attack, and noticed one.
"So, you also have Power Bond?" Draco asked, causing Syrus to gasp out and try to reach the card, but Draco pulled his hand back, which shocked Syrus and everyone else.
"Syrus, why didn't you use this card?" Draco asked, "If you did, your Steam Gyroid would have been have been at 4700 attack points, even with Kinbok, Zooruvhun wouldn't be strong enough to beat it, which you know is the strongest Dragon Guard in my deck."
"I…I can't use that card." Syrus said.
"Syrus, are you only saying that because it's what the fucking bastard told you?"
Again, everyone looked shocked again, Syrus this time was shaking visibly, not from Draco's snarl but more from a memory.
"I just can't use that card!" Syrus yelled out, "I'll never be good enough to use that card!"
Draco kneeled down and looked at Syrus as he had tearful eyes, "Syrus. These dueling practice I'm having us do is to help you and to prove you are a great duelist." He told him, "This card would have turned the duel to your favor."
"You don't understand!" he yelled.
"You're right I don't!" Draco yelled back, actually getting Syrus' attention, "I don't understand, but what I do understand is your brother pretty much bullied you into thinking you will never be a good duelist."
Syrus was obviously in tears at this point, "But Sy, you are one of the top three Slifers at the Academy, Prof. Banner said that has never happened before. Plus, unlike your brother, you actually have friends."
The others came by and kneeled by Syrus, "And we are from different dorms." Alexis said.
However, Draco looked behind them with a smirk seeing Dark Magician Girl smiling at Syrus as well. Draco looks back at him as the tears was visible streaming down, and Draco pulled Syrus into a bro-hug, in which caused the group of friends to join and let Syrus let out his disbelief out, with each of them telling him "It'll be alright."
Magician Girl just smiled before was greeted by Kendov, "The training is going well." He stated.
"How is it you know that?" she asked.
"The Young Lord takes what he learned from his parents. This is what they called 'letting the fear and all they were told, out of their body'." He explained, "In other words, helping him believing in himself."
"You think this will work?"
"Believe it or not, that dread look from Power Bond, wasn't from he was told he can't use it, but also from 'feeling a problem'. Like how the Young Lord was when he first began dueling."
They look at the hugging group, "Syrus is a great duelist." Magician Girl stated.
"And this is the start of showing him." Kendov added.
