Day of Spirits

The gang sat at the table in the cafeteria, enjoying the well deserve lunch, of course they did get some stares. The Slifers were baffled that three from their dorm were hanging with a Yellow and three Blues. The Ras found it odd that the group of friends ignores the dorm color. As for the Obelisks, were pissed; The girls of the dorm couldn't believe that, the Queen of Obelisk Blue was hanging with "Slacker Trash" as they called them and even gossip about that display Alexis and Draco did on the stage, but the boys were more pissed at said "Slacker Trash" believing he is blackmailing Alexis as all of them had a crush on her. However, none of them paid any mind to them, enjoying their lunch and praising Syrus for finally using the one card he never used. Draco took hold of is drink and raised it.

"Here's to Syrus!" He called out, "All that training paid off, and he is free from his bastard of a brother's shadow!"

The others join him in the toast, getting Syrus to blush at the attention, "I don't really deserve this praise, guys." He told them, "It was all Draco doing the work."

"That may be." Bastion stated, "But it was you, that decided to play Power Bond."

"Bastion's right." Mindy agreed, "If you didn't have the courage to play that spell, Those Paradox brothers would have been picking away at you."

"However, that Grand Healer would have been giving them Life Points faster than they would be losing." Mana stated.

"Guys." Draco called out getting their attention, "we may be celebrating our duel win, but it's more towards Syrus becoming his own duelist."

"Draco is right." Alexis said, "Syrus told us why he wouldn't use Power Bond, but today he overcame that fear and doubt becoming his own person."

"Yeah I guess you guys are right." Syrus admitted, "But I am right, Draco even got me this card." Showing them the fusion card.

"Well, all you need now is a powerful dragon to use that card, without my help." Draco stated.

They all enjoyed their meals as the chatted the lunch hours away, it wasn't long before they got on the topic of Duel Spirit Day.

"Man, tomorrow is going to be so much fun!" Jasmine squealed out, "I know! Duel Spirit Day is so much fun!" Mindy added.

"Speaking of that." Draco said, "You girls said you had costume between the three of you, what is it?"

They all looked at each other, blushing between themselves, "Did I say something wrong?" Draco asked, noticing the blush.

"Well, no." Alexis replied, "It's more like a surprise really."

"Alright, I won't push the topic." He said, "What about you Bastion?"

"Afraid I won't be dressing up." He stated, "I'll be busy making formulas to try and defeat your deck."

Draco chuckled and smiled, "Well, good luck on that." He told him, "What about you Sy?"

"If it's in my size, thinking of Dark Magician." He replied.

"What about you Mana?" Alexis asked.

"If anything, people will just tell me to go as Dark Magician Girl." She said, "I've already been teased by people just for looking like her."

"Well, not trying to agree or start arguments." Jasmine said, "But since Syrus is going as Dark Magician, why not go as Dark Magician Girl?"

"Yeah, I bet you two would win best costume couple." Mindy teased.

This made both Mana and Syrus to blush deeply and look at each other shocked, before the each began to freak out, talking over each other, as everyone else only heard a few things, before bursting into laughter. After a few minutes, they finished their meals and each went their own way; Bastion went back to his dorm, telling Draco to "watch out", Syrus and Mana awkwardly went back to the Slifer dorm, Jasmine and Mindy went back to their dorm to work on the costumes, leaving Draco and Alexis to just walk around for a change since the classes were canceled for the duel.

"Hey, something just crossed my mind." Draco suddenly said.

"What's that?" Alexis asked.

"Duel Spirit Day is Wednesday right?" getting a nod from her, "Today is Monday."

Alexis thought everything over and then sighs out, chuckling, "Oh man, I must have been so drawn into the duel." She said.

"It does happen." Draco commented, "So you think tomorrow everyone will be working on their costumes?"

"And help set everything up." She stated, "So, what are you going as?"

"Now that is a surprise." He told her.

"You're teasing me." Alexis told him, "Hey, you said your costume was a surprise, so mine's is as well." He replied.

They walked through the forest for a bit, until they came to a lonely hill with a single tree on top, Draco smiled as he led Alexis to the tree and sitting down with her next to him.

"Well, we finally have some time to ourselves." He said, placing a hand on her hip as she sighs and lays into his chest.

"Don't jinx us." She teased, "But you're right."

She sat up and looked at Draco, smiling warmly at him as he returned the smile, each leaning closer to each other.

"So, shall we try that kiss from earlier again?" Alexis asked with a slight tease, Draco placed his fingers on her chin and lean closer to her, placing a deep kiss on her lips. Each closed their eyes and moaning softly in their deep passionate kiss, before Alexis backed from it and laid her head his chest, and smiled Draco draped his arms over and around her, never opening their eyes.

"I don't know what it is." Alexis thought, "But I just feel safe with Draco around me."

"This feeling." Draco thought, "Something is just telling me to protect Alexis, even if it costs me my life. What is it? Could be the Dragon's Lust? Or something else?"

The rest of the day went uneventful, the next however, the entire Academy was alive with a buzz. All the students, ignoring their dorm colors, helped set up stalls for games, food or working on their costumes. Up in the Obelisk Girl, Alexis finished brushing, drying, and rinsing her hair getting the right coloration of pink.

"Hey Alexis?" Mindy asked from the bathroom, "Yeah, Mindy?" she asked.

"I'm starting to have second thoughts about this."

Emerging from the bathroom, Mindy wore a Harpie Lady costume, most of her chest, stomach, and thighs exposed.

"I knew we were going as the Harpie Lady Sisters but isn't this too revealing?" she asked.

"Aw, come Mandy." Jasmine said walked from behind her into the bedroom, wearing the same costume, and just as revealing, "I think we look sexy."

"And plus, it's not like we can get into trouble after all." Alexis stated, "It's a Monster after all. I thought it'll be fun to use the original design."

"This wouldn't have to do anything with Draco, would it?" Mindy asked, causing Alexis to blush.

"N-no it doesn't!"

"Pretty quick to jump on that answer to defend yourself." Jasmine stated, teasingly.

As Alexis tried to defend herself from her friends, meanwhile at their hangout dueling spot, Draco was sitting respectfully as Koraavnu sat in the same position in front of him.

"So, you want to know if you have a Duel Spirit form?" he asked.

"That's correct, Master Koraavnu." Draco replied, "You were one of my training teachers when I was at home at a young age."

"And you still show respect even though you are no longer my pupil."

"I'm only asking since, my mother and father are Duel Spirits." Draco explained, "Wouldn't I have a form as well?"

The Blind Sage placed his claws on his chin, thinking or meditating, it was hard for Draco to tell with his Sage Teacher with that sash over his eyes.

"Hmm, it could be possible." He said after three minutes, "Since the Queen did say the Dragon in you has awaken."

"I think that was between my parents and myself, Master." Draco stated.

"However, I think you'll be only able to reveal your 'Dragon Side' as it was, only on Duel Spirit Day since the Gateway between the worlds will be open for us, so should your Spirit Powers."

Draco's face seems to lighten up as he smiled, "However!" Koraavnu snapped, sensing the smile, which vanished, "I would not recommend that you try to force it."

"Umm, may I ask why?" Draco questioned.

"If you force it, there is the possibility you won't be able to reverse it." He replied, "And unfortunately, unlike Lord Krono and Queen Saffira, you haven't trained to use the Illusion that gives them their human form."

"In other words?"

"You will have to leave this world for a number of years to train yourself."

This news brought dread to Draco's eyes before the Sage raised his hand, "But to help you feel the flow of your Spirit Powers, let's start with this training of your control over the White Flame of the Holy Dragon and the Black Flame of the Dark Dragon."

"The what flame?" Draco asked, "the Flames you inherited from your parents, that they each inherited from their parents." Koraavnu explained, "Well, the Queen inherited the White Flame and Lord Krono the Black Flame."

Draco just stared at the Blind Sage, before he cleared his throat, "Alright just hold your hand out and try to force your energy into your palm."

Draco did as instruct, taking deep breaths before small flickers appeared then became a small swirl of white and black flame.

"That's a start." The Sage said, "This is to help harness your Spirit Powers to change your form tomorrow."

"How long will it last?" Draco asked, before groaning out as Koraavnu bashed Draco's head with his staff, "This is training; no talking!"

At the Slifer Dorm, Syrus looked aimlessly for a Dark Magician costume that would fit him, but having no luck, until some Slifer girls decided to give him a hand, measuring him and getting the right materials for it, Over with Mana, she looked at her robes that was pasted through her family, belonging to her ancestor, who she is named after, being a white silk and it matched the style of Dark Magician Girl, still unsure if she should wear it or not. Over at the Ra Boy Dorm Bastion and a few crumple papers with formulas that seem to have failed.

"Hmm, the real problem is the higher-level monsters and that Quick-play spell card." He pondered, "And then there's his Fusion Monsters. Mostly, he only uses them if they are needed, but worst is that luck of his."

And finally, at the Obelisk Boy Dorm, Chazz looked out over the balcony that came with the dorm room on the second and above floors, still raging over Alexis' and Draco's display, as he gerent his teeth.

"That damn Slifer Trash!" he hissed, "Nobody and I mean NOBODY, touches my Alexis."

"Chazz, you ready for round two?" a girl asked, laying in his bed drench in sweat as she panted out lustfully.

"Because we are ready for more of your superior skills." The other cooed out in the same position as the first girl.

"Although, I can just prove I'm better with these two."

Duel Spirit Day was up with all the students and staff members, were a buzz with fun. Draco was lucky enough to be in his dorm room alone, taking deep breaths before he was consumed by the swirling flames. Once the flames died down, Draco was revealed in an armor similar to that of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, but the span of the wings, that connects to his shoulders were black with a few ruby-like round stones infused with it, the black scales extend over his shoulders chest, after which it, it goes to his sides down his legs, stopping at the knees, a bit of black scales on his wrists and the side of the "helmet" on his head. Looking in the mirror over his Spirit Form.

"Hmm, is it me or does this body look like a mix of Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes?" he questioned.

"Being the son of Light Dragoness and a Dark Dragon, it is natural you have both since you have the White and Black Flame."

Draco yelps out as it turns seeing Kendov leaning against the bed, solid.

"Kendov? How did you get in here?" Draco asked him.

"We can still travel as Spirits, Young Lord."

"But if people see you, they'll think you'll part of the Academy, or worse thinking you're a family member since my family are the only one that knows of the Dragon Guard." Draco replied.

"Not by choice." The Fighter simply replied, "Queen Saffira ordered us to watch you today."

"Are you kidding me?"

"We are not the only spirits to cross over, some happen to be dragon hunters and would do anything to have the head of dragon prince. Vonzun and Gahlot are the ones truly watching you, the rest are to blind into the crowd."

"That's the problem." Draco told him, "Only Kinbok, Koraavnu, and you know how to blind in well the others don't actually blind, especially Sophitia."

"Hey!"

Draco looked at the door hearing the whine, "I'm outside the door, Young Lord. No need to be straight forward."

Draco groans out, banging his head on the wall. Outside the dorm, Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy walked up to the dorm, of course getting stares from the boys, mostly from the Blue Dorm, Mindy feeling awkward from all the boys hitting on them, Jasmine blew and even flip them off, yelling at them. As Alexis, kept repeating to them to stop trying to ask her out.

"Let those young ladies through!" a voice yelled out getting all the boys to yelp out and stumble back, getting a view for Alexis and her friends to see Kinbok and Sahlos standing close by. The girls walked up to the two dragons, before Alexis sighed out in relief.

"Ah, thanks for that." She said, "I didn't think anyone at the Academy also knew about the Dragon Guards."

"We are not of the staff." He replied, "My sister told us to head here to keep an eye on her son, but to respect his social life."

"Your sister?" Mindy asked, "Who is your sister and who is her son?"

"He is talking about, Draco." Sahlos responded, "My- umm- husband's sister is in fact Draco's mother. She's a little protective with him."

"So, she's asked the extended family to watch him?" Alexis asked slightly annoyed.

"Well, in a way." Kinbok replied, "Like I said we are not interfering with his social life. We'll just peak in his direction every few hours or so."

This didn't seem to change the glare Alexis was giving them, until Sahlos wrapped her arm around Alexis by the shoulder and whispered to her.

"Don't take it personal, I know you want an actual date with Draco." She told her, "Besides, I'm doing the same with him." Motioning to Kinbok which and Alexis grin.

Alexis bid them farewell, and Jasmine informed her she and Mindy will do their own thing. Going their separate ways, Alexis spotted Syrus, fighting with the hat of his Dark Magician costume.

"Hey, Syrus." She said, getting him to look up and suddenly blushed by her revealing costume.

"Al-Alexis?" he stammered, "What are you supposed to be?"

"I'm a Harpie Lady." She replied, "the original design of one anyways. What about you? Who are you waiting for?"

"I'm waiting for Mana."

Alexis looked up at the door she did see, Mana walked out from the training days and headed there and knocked on the door.

"Hey Mana?" she asked.

"Y-yeah?"

"Syrus is waiting for you. Is everything alright?"

"Umm, kind of." Mana replied.

"What's the problem?" Alexis asked.

"Well, my outfit is that my ancestor wore being passed down through the family." She explained, "And it's a little small around the chest."

"How small?"

Not getting an answer Alexis rolled her eyes and opened the door walking in and seeing, "how small" Mana stated.

"It's a little tight around my chest." Mana said, showing how the top of the robe hugged her chest, almost making her breasts puffier.

"Well, at least it covers you." Alexis stated, "Look don't let it bother you, I'm not letting my costume bother me."

Alexis just bid her farewell, and went to Draco's, Syrus' and Chumley's room, knocking on the door, before Sophitia spotted her, about to make a run to the door before getting head smack by a staff.

"Ah, ow!" she yelled, "What was that for?!"

"Stopping you from blowing your cover." Koraavnu stated, "She's fine. Let the Young Lord and her be."

"But-" Sophitia complain before the staff was in her face, "Don't make me use this." The Sage replied.

"Yeah?" Draco asked through the door, "Hey Draco, it's me." Alexis replied.

"Oh shit! Hold on! I don't have much room in here due to the accessories of the costume."

Alexis waited outside hearing the occasional "Ow!" before the door open and they both looked at each other slightly blushing.

"W-wow." Draco stuttered, getting Alexis to blush more and hug her arms, slightly pumping her breasts up.

"Draco." She said, "This is a little embarrassing with you staring."

Draco shook his head and blushed realizing what he was doing, "I'm sorry Alexis." He apologized, "It's just I never thought you could get more beautiful. You really pull off as a real Harpie Lady."

"You think so?" she asked looking at Draco, "Yeah, I do. I mean you even got the wig to go with it." He replied, before taking a closer look, "Wait, that's not a wig."

"No, it's not." Alexis replied, "I dyed my hair for today to give it the natural look."

"Even with the classic Harpie look." Draco stated, "Yeah, Jasmine and Mindy did the same." She stated.

Draco finally left the room closing the door as he couldn't take his eyes off of Alexis.

"So, what are you supposed to be?" she asked, "It looks like a mix of that ritual card Lord of the Red and Blue-Eyes White Dragon."

"Yeah, even I don't know what I'm supposed to be." He replied, "My parents said it was a prototype for a card that never got made."

"What was the card called?"

"I don't know." He replied, "But I don't think it's that important." Draco looked at Alexis taking his arm out as she giggled before just taking his hand into her "talons"

"Can't really wrap my arm around yours with these 'wings' on my arms." She told him.

Draco just smiled as they walked away from the dorm, however on the roof two dragons watch them walk off before leaping off fast enough, they vanished. The day went on with Draco and Alexis running into their friends, playing games, dueling assholes, Draco rolling his eyes or facepalming himself as he noticed one of the Guards or when they came up and talked to them. The only time Alexis and Draco had time to each other was during the game stalls or when they decided to eat.

"By the way, Draco?" Alexis asked getting his attention as drank the soda he purchased, "How did you manage to make that in a single day? It seems too well detailed to be made in a single day."

"Well, my parents actually made it for me when I was young, and told me when I got older, I would be able to wear it." He told her.

"So, they just had this around for you?"

"Yeah, Duel Spirit Day is a holiday my parents love." Draco replied, trying his best to hide the truth.

Alexis just smiled and continue eating the salad that he got for her as he ate his, every now and then he would feel his tail swaying happily behind him.

"Fuck! How do I control that?!"

The day continue as everyone had fun even running into Prof. Banner asking if he could get a picture of them, with Alexis being unsure with the revealing costume, before Draco grabbed one of his wings and wrapped it around her, angling themselves so she was covered but she wasn't hidden, keeping her head and a bit of her shoulder and arm in the picture. It was starting to get to the late afternoon when things started to calm down, a few duels here and there, after getting another drink, Draco and Alexis sat on a bench near the Slifer Dorm before Alexis stood up and began to walk.

"Are you ok, Alexis?" Draco asked her, "Yeah, just need to use the restroom." She replied with a smile, before quickly returning to him and gave him a quick kiss on his cheek.

He smiled watching her go into the restroom, before his eyes caught a glimpse of a familiar black tail, and growled softly getting up and walking to the hidden figure.

"Sophitia!" he snarled out, rounding the corner facing the Guard, "Have you been tailing us the whole day?!"

"It's my duty to watch you, Young Lord!" she replied, "Not to mention, her Highness, ordered us to watch you!"

"She ordered Gahlot and Vonzun to watch me and they did a good job not being spotted!" Draco snarled, "but the rest of you, do you know how hard it was for Alexis and I to have a normal date without having any of you coming over to talk or when I look over and see you guys looking in our direction?!"

Nearby, Alexis stood on the other side of the door, hearing Draco argue with someone, "Who is Draco talking to? And what does he mean they have been watching us?"

"We have tried to have a normal date, or just to have time with each other, but shit always got in the way, we were only able to do it after my Tag Duel with Syrus!"

Sophitia growled, before glaring at Draco, "That is enough, Young Lord!"

"Young Lord?!" Alexis thought, before leaving the restroom and staying quiet to hear this argument.

"We can not argue the orders, Queen Saffira gives us!" She snarled.

"I may have to have a talk with my mother about this Gahlot and Vonzun was enough to keep anything that would harm me away!" Draco snarled back, before his eyes met Alexis. She looked confused while he was shocked, she heard him.

"Young Lord." Sophitia said, Draco respond with hand jesters to get her to stop, "You are the first heir of the Queen of Dragons, many would want you dead to ensure no one takes that throne!"

"Sophitia." Draco quietly growled, "Shut up."

"Sorry, Young Lord, but this time I will say what's on my mind." She replied, ignoring him, "You are the son of Queen Saffira and Lord Krono, the heir to their throne and the next Dragon Lord! You must stop acting like a child that feels like he can do anything without consequences, Prince Draco!"

Draco grit his teeth, inhaling in a hissing sound before facepalming in shaming, before Sophitia's eyes widen and looked ashamed as well.

"There was someone behind me, wasn't there?" she whined out. She then slowly turned seeing Alexis looking in pure disbelief, she took a step back before was stopped by a Sai blade by her neck with a dark dragoness snarling behind her and a dark grey dragon with a dagger out in front of her.

"Gahlot! Vonzun! Stand down!" Draco ordered them.

"This human heard too much!" Gahlot hissed out, only causing Alexis to get more confused and frighten.

"Draco what the hell is going on?!" she asked.

"Gahlot! Remove your weapon from her neck!" Draco ordered again, "Incase, you have forgotten, Alexis is my girlfriend and will not be harmed!"

Vonzun looked at Draco before sheathing his dagger, "You heard the Young Lord, Gahlot." He said, before standing up and walking away.

Gahlot hissed out, before removing her Sai from Alexis and twirled it in her hand, "As you command, Young Lord."

Alexis panted out, her eyes darting at the Guards before looking at Draco with fear, "Wh-what the hell is going on?!"

Draco could feel the fear and anger in her voice, "Well, I guess to simplify everything." He said, "There is a reason this is call 'Duel Spirit Day'."

Alexis again looked at each of the Guards, piecing everything together, "You're saying they are real Duel Monsters?" she asked.

"We prefer the term Dragon Guards." A voice spoke up, getting her to gasp out and jump slightly as Draco looked at Koraavnu walking up to them.

"So, who spilled the beans, Young Lord?" he asked.

"Why do they call you that?!" Alexis demanded from Draco, as he sighed out and sat at the bench, patting next to him, asking her to sit down, which she did.

"They call me that, because that's what I am." He replied, "The truth is, my parents, both of them are Duel Monsters."

He looked at her as she continues to look disbelief, clearly not buying his words until the look in her eyes changed.

"Wait, you're not joking." She realized, "But, if you're serious, doesn't that mean you're a Duel Monster as well?"

"I don't know." Draco replied sighing out, "I have asked them but even they are unsure since my mother said I was born a human."

"Young Lord, it doesn't matter—" Sophitia started before getting a bone crunching smack on her snout, causing her to hold her snout, groaning loudly as blood slowly dripped form her hands. Everyone looked at the Blind Sage as he placed his staff back down.

"Unfortunately, Royal Guard, you have no room to speak after revealing everything to this lady." He stated.

"Did you really have to smack her snout?" Draco asked, getting the Blind Sage to chuckle.

"I didn't smack her snout, Young Lord." He replied, "I broke it."

This made everyone besides Koraavnu and Sophitia shiver, "Agh, you mother—OW!" Sophitia whined out.

"So, your parents?" Alexis asked, "My father is Lord of the Red, and my mother is Saffira, Queen of the Dragons." He replied.

"Then, that makes you a prince?" Alexis asked looking at Draco, "And this is your true form?"

"No, it's not." Draco replied, "This form isn't my true form."

"But—"

"I was born a human and raised as one." Draco stated, interrupting her, "Alexis, I don't want this to ruin what we have."

"This is a lot to take in." she admitted, Draco looked away slightly sadden, thinking it was over, before Alexis took his hand into hers. Well, the talon of the costume, "But I can understand why it was kept from everyone."

"Does that mean?" Draco asked before she leaned closer, kissing him deeply. After which she smiled at him.

"Draco, you have put a slight challenge for me in our duel at the lake by the girl dorm, saved me from a mercenary, and to be honest, I feel save around you." She told him, "You are also kind, smart, always ready to help friends."

"He has always put others before himself." Vonzun stated, before looking over seeing Kinbok and Sahlos approached them.

"Well, seems the family has gathered here." Kinbok said.

"Drop the act, Kinbok." Draco told him, "Alexis knows everything."

"How did she find out?" Sahlos asked, before everyone pointed at Sophitia, who was still dripping with blood and whimpering.

"She decided to argue with me and Alexis heard it all." Draco said, "So, why is it you guys came here?"

"The day is nearly over." Kinbok replied, "I'm gathering everyone so we can return to the Spirit World."

"So, this is the only time I can see any of you?" Alexis asked, "Not at all, we can come and go as we please." Sahlos answered.

"They can only be physical during Duel Spirit Day only." Draco stated.

"If we wish, you can see and hear us." Kendov stated joining the small group, "Which I could tell is no problem, but for now I think only the Princesses will be enough."

"Princesses?" Alexis asked, "You know, Kulaas and Suraasven." Draco stated, "What about Vahraniik?"

"I think the Healer would also be a good starting companion for her." Kinbok stated.

They all stayed by the restroom as the day ended, the sign was Draco was suddenly consumed by the swirl of white and black flames and reverting to normal, wearing his Slifer blazer.

"Hmm, guess that means the Gateway is closed." He stated, looking a t Alexis smiling.

"So, you weren't kidding?" she asked, "The other, wasn't your real form?"

"I think I may need further training to change without the Spirit World." He stated, before sitting back down.

Alexis smiled and lean her head on his shoulder, "Was it weird?" she asked.

"Weird?"

"You know, the wings and tail?"

"Yeah it was a little weird." Draco admitted, "I had no control over them, every now and then they would move on their own."

They both stood up, and began to walk back to the remain of the fair as the students not in costume began to clear up, Draco helped out after telling Alexis good night as she left with Mindy and Jasmine to change out of their costume. It didn't take long to clean the stalls up and getting the occasional glares from the Obelisk boys before a voiced called out.

"Hey, did someone get hurt over here?"

Some people went over to where the student mention seeing the small puddle of blood.

"Oh dear, did someone get hurt?" Prof. Banner asked, looking at the puddle.

"I don't know I just saw it." The student replied.

"Well, I hope whoever was hurt is ok now." Banner stated.

Back on the mainland after the Guards returned to their transparent state, Saffira glared and snarled down at Sophitia as she kneeled down, still holding her snout.

"You exposed everything to a human?!" she snarled out, causing the Royal Guard to flinch.

"I am sorry, Your Highness." She whimpered out, "Koraavnu already broke my snout as punish for not keeping my mouth shut."

"He should have done much more!"

"Saffira, calm down." Krono told her, only adding fuel to the white inferno around her.

"CALM DOWN!?" she roared, "There is a human who knows about our family's true forms and you want me to calm down?!"

"Aunt Saffira." Kulaas said, "This human, is a kind person and happens to be in a relationship with your son."

"WHAT?!" Saffira roared out, causing Kulaas to duck behind Kendov.

"Princess Kulaas is correct, Milady." He said, "The human, Alexis Rhodes as she is called, is Lord Draco's girlfriend."

"Guys stop adding to that inferno of hers." Krono pleaded, seeing the large white flames.

"Don't you joke about that Kendov!" she ordered, "I am master martial artist, Queen Saffira. Joking is one thing I never do." Kendov told the raging queen, "Also, Lord Draco risks his soul against the Archfiends to save her from them."

"Your Highness." Sahlos butted in, "We have met her, she was overwhelmed with the information, but it didn't seem to change how she feels for the Young Lord."

"It could be possible she is the one for him." Koraavnu stated, as he meditated.

"What the hell does that mean, Sage?!" Saffira growled out.

"Just like how you and Lord Krono were meant for each other," he explained, "perhaps she and Draco were meant to be as well."

"He has a point, my Queen." Kinbok said, before Saffira could erupt, "We may be pure dragons now, but all humanoid dragons can trace their bloodline back to a feral dragon and human."

Saffira continued to growl before the white inferno died down, "I want to see this human."

"You might be able to." Vonzun said as he kneeled down returning from his "mission".

"Where have you been?" Kinbok asked, "Getting information. They have a winter break coming up in a few months." Vonzun replied.

"Good." Saffira said, "I'll talk to Draco about meeting this human."

Saffira, enough!" Krono snapped, "If you tell him, no doubt Draco will blame the Guards for telling you, let him tell us himself."

"Krono, you don't—"

"What? Understand? I understand you are being too protective over Draco." He replied, "He's no longer the little dragonling we would help put to sleep or sing him that song. He is a young adult dragon. Give him the respect as such."

This actually cause the Dragon Queen to tear up and covered her mouth trying not to sob out, but did so as Krono held her in a loving embrace.

"B-but he's my-my little—"

"I know my love. But he's not little anymore."

"Captain, I advise we give the Queen some privacy." Kendov suggested.

"I agree." He replied, "Dragon Guards, we are done here."

Back at the Academy, Draco sat on the ledge looking over the ocean as he quietly sang to himself, giving a soft smile as he finished up.

"What song was that?" Syrus asked, as he and Mana just finished taking their outfits off.

"It was just something my mother sang to me when I was little, to help me get some sleep." He replied, "I never forgot it and just felt like singing it."

"The last part was like a different languish." Mana stated, "That's because it was, Mana." Draco replied standing up and stretching.

They headed back to each of their dorms, Syrus saying he and Mana had a fun day, Draco saying the same with Alexis, before they each turned in for the night. With Mana however, she was on her dorm room's computer talking to someone.

"I don't know what languish it was, but I did feel some magic in the words." She quietly said.

"Do you know what was said?" the other end asked, in a distorted voice, "If we know what was said, we can narrow the search for this boy's origins."

"I didn't hear any words, Brother." Mana replied.
