Scientific Logic vs. Illogical Luck
The rest of the afternoon, Sophi and Alexis spent the day getting to know each other, every now and then they would use the Spirit Gate, to get Alexis used to the strange energy it gave off. The first few times, Alexis did feel weak or tired, until all it did was give her a slight headache, which was the Gate back to the front door, having cold drinks that they picked up, and some take out for the boys.
"You doing alright there?" Sophi asked.
"Just a little headache is all." Alexis replied, "You were right. It does take a while but after that, it won't do anything."
"That is correct." Sophi replied, "Normally it would take years for someone of this world to even just get headaches, but you did it within a day."
"Is that a comment or an insult?"
"A comment, I believe my son being around you could be the reasoning for having such a residence to the Spiritual Energy."
Sophi smiled warming before catching a glimpse of an energy field in the back yard, "Someone created a Spiritual Field." She stated.
"Spiritual Field?" Alexis asked, "What's that?"
"Well to put it in a nutshell, it's like how those Shadow Games are played, but we used it for Draco during his training days." Sophi replied, "With it up there can only be one answer."
They walked into the house and placed the food on the tale and walked to the back yard, at first they see Draco doing martial arts by himself in the yard, until Sophi motioned Alexis to pass into the Field, upon doing so and shaking off a headache, Alexis saw, Draco wasn't alone, but was keeping his martial arts skills up, with a solid Kendov, having a similar stance to Draco's, each throwing a punch or a kick in which the other blocked or redirecting each other's attack. Alexis slightly blushed, watching the two sparring, as Draco panted out, dripping with sweat, wearing some training bands on his wrists and a headband, slightly admiring how Draco looks, which Saffira noticed.
"See something you enjoy?" she asked, getting Alexis to slightly gasp and looked at the Dragon Queen, with a blush.
"What?" Alexis asked, still blushing.
"You seem to be enjoying seeing Draco shirtless." Saffira stated and teased.
"Well, when he did save me from the Abandon Dorm, I was able to see the muscles on his arm, since his blazer was off." Alexis explained, "But I never imagined him without a shirt."
"And now seeing him without one?" Saffira asked, still teasing.
"It-it's just something I never thought of seeing him without one." She stuttered out, she looks back at Draco, and smiled. Until she noticed Kendov's arm erupting into flames, recognizing the attack.
"Martial Arts, Dragon Style, Flaming Claw Strike!" Kendov roared out, charging towards Draco.
Draco took a deep breath as his right arm began to shoot electric sparks, "Martial Arts, Dragon Style, Quake Strike!" he roared out himself, slamming his fist into the ground, erupting lightning bolts from the ground, causing Kendov to stop his attack and began to make many hand signs.
"Martial Arts, Dragon Style, Magical Dragon Barrier!" he roared, before slamming his palm into the ground and a light blue magical rune circle surround him, before the lightning for Draco's counter strike, zapping over the barrier. After which Draco panted out, falling to his knees. Alexis looked worried at Draco, walking up to him, placing her hand on his shoulder as he looked at her. Alexis lightly jumped back, seeing Draco's eyes glowing and on closer look, his pupils were slits, like a feral creature.
"Dr-Draco?" she asked, concern.
"H-hey Alexis." He panted out, "Di-did you and M-Mom just get b-back?"
"We did, but are you alright?"
"There is nothing to worry about." Kendov spoke up, "His eyes just become that of his heritage or using his powers."
"I didn't know how much energy you guys use when using Quake Strike." Draco stated.
"Not at all." Kendov replied, "This is to train you on how to use your Spiritual Energy."
"Which, Krono and I plan to do for his winter break." Saffira stated, "After all, it has never once happened that an offspring of two dragons, having both Flames."
"I want to have a small talk about that, Mom." Draco said, his eyes stop glowing and return to normal, well normal for him.
After the yard was "Clean up" they went inside the house, waited for Krono to return home, and Draco explained what he had to say to them.
"Don't get me wrong." He stated, "I do want to train with you and Dad to help control the Flames."
"But?" Krono asked.
"But I would like if Alexis and I could have a normal date." Draco replied.
"Couldn't you do that at the Academy?" Saffira asked.
"We have tried." Alexis replied, "But it was always interrupted by teachers, or entitled Obelisks, trying to get Draco and myself to break-up."
"Saying our relationship isn't right, and it always ends in a duel." Draco added, "Some of them Alexis dueled herself, to really get them to back off."
"What about the Day of Spirits?" Krono asked, as Saffira silently sighed, looking away.
"We did try on Duel Spirit Day." Draco replied, and at the same time, clearing the different name for Alexis, "But if you remember, Mom sent the Guards to watch me."
"Oh, that's right." Krono replied looking over at her, smiling slyly as Draco and Alexis look at her as well.
"Don't all of you look at me!" she whined out, "You can't blame a mother for wanting to keep an eye on her child."
"If I was eight." Draco slightly snapped, "But really Mom, I'm sixteen! I can even use my Flames if needed."
"You did?" Saffira asked.
"When did that happen?" Alexis added.
"When I found Blair in Zane's room. I had to use my Mom's Flame Flare." Draco replied.
Saffira looked over to Krono as he looked at her, "Before you two ask," Draco stated, "Koraavnu taught me, he remembered how you did it."
"Well, that was something we thought over." Saffira said, "We believe we can't train you with your Flames."
Draco raised a brow in confusion, "Draco, your mother and I have separate Flames." Krono explained, "You have inherited both of our Flames."
"How is that a reason you guys can't train me?" Draco asked.
"I may not fully understand the whole 'Flame' thing." Alexis stated, "But, maybe they can't train you, because you have both of the Flames, and they have one."
"So, if they trained me, the other Flame would interfere with the training?" Draco asked.
"That what we think." Saffira replied, "If I try to train you to use the White Flame, your Black Flame would prevent the training."
"And the same can be said with the Black Flame with your White Flame." Krono added.
Draco looked at his hand, his eyes slightly flashed, as his palm was engulfed with his swirling Flames, "So, I have to train myself to use my Flames?" he asked.
"Well, you did say you used your mother's Flare." Krono stated, "What else have you used your Flames?"
"Hmm." Draco pondered for a few minutes, "Well, when that bastard Titan used that Cursed Pendant of his, that awaken my Flames, I seem to have instinctively, created a barrier."
"That's mostly how the Flames would work." Saffira explained, "Without training, the Flame would react to your emotions or just react to any danger."
Draco closed his fist, extinguishing the fire in his hand, "Well, does making fireballs, bouncing them around on my hands and fingers, count as training?"
His parents looked at each other for a moment, "Well, it could." Saffira finally spoke up.
"I think it does." Krono stated, "You have been doing that for a while, right?"
"Yeah, pretty much every day." Draco replied, "And has anyone, besides Alexis seen it?" Saffira asked.
"No one in our friend group has seen his Flames." Alexis stated.
"Well, Syrus did." Draco admitted, "When I was wrapping the duel with Titan up, but Kendov said he altered the memories to be a dream."
"Has he asked about that duel?" Krono asked his son.
Draco shook his head and lean back in the chair, "Not once, and I'm glad he hasn't."
"Well, that's good." Saffira sighed, "Don't get me wrong, Draco. I like the little kid, but if he questioned about your duel with that man."
"I doubt he would want to talk about it." Draco reassured, "He isn't one to try a bring up bad memories."
"And if he does ask?" Krono asked.
"If he does, I'm not going to hide it." Draco told them, "I'll just tell him the truth."
"About your heritage?" Krono asked.
"More just, my family is a long line of those with unique powers."
"And you think he'll believe that?" Saffira asked, with a raised brow.
"Ok, just changing the subject here." Alexis butted in, "I will have to agree with Draco about us having a normal date. Duel Spirit Day was the only chance, but Mrs. Kaitos, you did send the Guards to watch us and it was annoying."
"Again, I am sorry for that!" Saffira whined out, annoyed.
"And just trying to get some facts," Alexis continued, "Have you had the Guards, watch Draco here, in his hometown?"
"Umm, well." Saffira stuttered and muttered.
"I'll take that as a 'No'." Draco spoke up, "So Mom, while on the Winter Break, Alexis and I will be heading out every now and then to have a date, I don't want to see or sense any of the guards!"
"Alright, I get the message." She replied, "I won't send the Guards to watch your every move anymore."
"Starting tomorrow." All eyes turned at Alexis as she smiled slyly, "Tomorrow, I would like Draco and I went out on an actual date."
Saffira was about to roar out, but Krono covered her snout, as she lets out muffled rants and small flumes of fire escaped between his fingers.
"I believe that is a good idea." He said, before Saffira let out a muffled yelled, eyes became feral like slits as she death stared at her husband, "It's the least, we can do for you, after ruining your only chance for a date. Right, Saffira?!" he stated looked at the death glaring dragoness in his arms.
"Dad does have a point." Draco stated, getting his parents to look at him, "It'll make up for Duel Spirits Day for me, and for Alexis, that duel you pretty much started when you knew she was weaken by her first experience with the Spirit Gate."
Saffira sighs out in Krono's hand, as he slowly removes his hand from mouth, "You are right, Draco." She muttered, "Fine, but on some of the days, your father and I can tell what we did to gain control of our Flames, and see if you can use our training technics with your Flames."
"That could work in a form of training for me." Draco stated, "But that will be after the date."
They spent the rest of the late afternoon/early evening, talking, eating, and have a schedule for idea training for Draco, as well as days for just him and Alexis to hang out. Once all was said and done, they all decided to get some sleep, but with one minor problem.
"Saffira, there is a little problem." Krono said as she was walked up the stairs.
"And what will that be?" she called back.
"We didn't prepare the guest room."
Saffira stopped mid-way up the steps, eyes snapped open, "Oh, that is a problem."
"Alexis can sleep in my room." Draco suddenly announced.
"Draco, I don't think that's such—"
"Mom, we haven't done anything, all we have done is hold hands, hug and kiss each other." Draco explained, "We are still in school, we are not going to mate."
Draco's face slightly brightens as he said the last thing, as did Alexis' face, knowing all too well how embarrassing it was for him to say it. The was no argument, as Draco and Alexis walked to his bedroom, after the door closed, they each began to strip and change to their night wear, back turned to each other of privacy. Alexis removed her shirt and began to undo her bra, before stopping and slowly looked back at Draco as he removed his shirt.
"So, what do you sleep in?" she asked, blushing lightly.
"Mostly just in night shorts." He replied, "You know how some girls wear nightgowns?"
Alexis looked back, but didn't turn her head as she slipped into her nightgown, "Yeah I'm aware of that."
"Well for some guys, we wear a pair of shorts." Draco explained, "But unlike others, I don't wear a shirt."
"Why is that?" she asked, "I just feel constricted." Draco answered.
Draco removed the shorts he wore that day and slipped into his night shorts, before turning around and, his face lightens up, seeing Alexis wearing a silver-white silk nightgown, showing her cleavage and stopping right after her thighs. Alexis also blushed, getting a closer look at Draco's body build, from his martial arts and duel training, as well as seeing a few scars on his chest, on closer inspection, they seem to be claw marks.
"How… how did you get those?" she asked him, breaking his little trance on her.
"Oh, from Kendov." Draco replied, "Sometimes, during the training, he'll use his claws. They weren't very deep but, they were deep enough to leave scars."
Alexis hugged herself, accidently causing her breasts to pump out slightly as Draco looked back at her and stumbled with his words.
"So… I didn't expect you to wear that." He admitted.
"What? A nightgown?"
"I expected a nightgown, but not a silk one." He replied, "The nightgowns made with silk are like something that a princess would wear."
Alexis slightly blushed more, "So, I look like a princess then?"
Draco's face blushed deeper, as he gulped loudly and rubbed the back of his head, "Y-yeah you do."
Alexis and Draco stood there awkwardly for a while before she took the ring off her finger and placed it on his computer desk, and then they finally climb into bed, both having their backs to each other, trying to get to sleep.
"Oh, this is too awkward." Alexis thought, "I mean, it is the first time we are in the same bed, but I was really hoping that—"
Her thoughts were caught off as she suddenly felt Draco's arm wrap around her stomach and then pulled her closer to him, causing her to gasp lightly and blush deeply.
"U-umm Dr-Draco?" she asked stuttering from the sudden snuggle.
"Sorry." He told her, "My instincts, were just telling me to make sure you were safe."
She just smiled warmly, and began to slowly drift to sleep in his arms, "Sleep well, Draco. I love you."
"I love you too, my Princess." Draco replied sleepily.
On the other side of the house, Saffira sat on her bed, growling softly, as Krono groans out and looks at her, "Saffira. You really need come to bed." He told her.
"I can't." she mutters back, "I just know they are doing something."
"Alright, you left me no choice." Krono stated.
"Krono? What are you—" she began to question, before Saffira sudden gasped as her body began to shiver as her husband wrapped his arms around her, groping her bare chest and biting down on her neck, making her pant out.
"Y-you cheeky b-bastard." She panted out, as her mate began to massage her breasts, and snarled into her neck, "I-I wish I-I never to-told you how to-to—fuck it all, I can't stand it!"
Saffira laid back on the bed, forcing Krono to be on top of her, "Mate with me, your primal dragon!"
"As my dragoness wishes." He replied, shifting out of the illusion and growled lustfully at her, before biting her neck again, making her moan out again, before clawing his back as she felt him entering her. Meanwhile in the Spirit World, Kinbok, Rovit, and Silziigaaf just finished a mission about a village being plagued by the undead. Kinbok and Rovit ended up meeting Silziigaaf at the village, and his presents alone gave the hint of what was happening. After sending the souls back to the underworld as well as Silziigaaf slaying the Necromancer behind it all, and ensuring no souls were left in their land of the living.
"I can't thank you enough for what you have done for us." The elder of the village spoke to Kinbok.
"There is no need." Kinbok replied, "It is our duty to protect all civilians of the Spirit World."
"With how many undead there was, I'm surprised you didn't call on us sooner." Rovit spat out, getting a disapprove glare from Kinbok.
"Actually, we did try." The elder replied, "We know it's a day's ride from this village to your guild, but when night came and the undead rose up to try and get more of us to join them."
"We saw the messengers we sent among the undead." A woman spoke up in tears, as one of the messengers was her husband.
"Which means the one that came to us, was after Silziigaaf appeared and cleared a path safe for him." Kinbok theorized.
"The Necromancer was making sure we were not called upon." Rovit added, before hearing heavy footsteps, all eyes turned to see Silziigaaf returning for looking around.
"Anything, Silziigaaf?" Kinbok asked, getting head shake from the heavily fully armored dragon.
"Til los nid sil wah kos nun." He replied.
The villagers looked confused by the dragon's reply, "He pretty much said, all clear." Kinbok reassured them, "Before we return to our Guild." Kinbok pulled the picture of Atticus from his belt and showed to the villagers, "Have any of you seen this boy? He's not of our world but the Human World."
"Has he done something wrong?" the elder asked.
"No, he is a missing person of the Human World and the Young Lord theorized he could be somewhere in our world." Kinbok replied, "He happens to be the brother of someone close to him."
Each villager looked at the photo, all saying they haven't until, "I think I have seen him." A young woman spoke up.
"You have?" Kinbok asked her, "I think I have." She replied, "But he was wearing some sort of mask."
Kinbok looked at Rovit and Silziigaaf, both looking just as confused as him, "Do you remember what the mask looks like?" Kinbok asked the young woman. She nods her head, Kinbok hands the photo to her and some charcoal to have her try and draw the mask. She did her best, based on her memory of the mask, and handed the photo back to Kinbok, who looked at the freshly drawn mask confused.
"I'll see if our Mage and Scholar can work with this sketch." Kinbok said, "Alright, we are done here. Rovit, we're heading back."
"And what about him?" He asked looking to where Silziigaaf was standing but found no one there.
"He guards the gate remember?" Kinbok told him, "To ensure no soul enters the living."
"Yeah, clearly he does a good job at it."
"That's enough!" Kinbok roared, "Do you know how close you are to be put back on the recruitment line?!"
"I already pasted that section." Rovit stated back, "There is no chance of me going back there."
"Unless a Commanding Officer believes you need to relearn the basics." Kinbok snarled, "Your continuing disrespecting everyone has everyone believing that you need to go back to the basics, and I'm starting to agree with them."
"The hell did you say?!" Rovit growled, "You think you can send me back to the rookies?!"
"I can and will!" He snarled back, "I have grown tired of you disrespecting everyone! I should have sent you back to the recruitment, months ago!"
"So why didn't you, if you could?!"
"Because you are my nephew!" Kinbok snapped, "I thought when time went on that rebellions attitude of yours, would stop! But I was wrong! Tomorrow, you are off the mission board!"
"WHAT?!"
"You are confined to your quarters and will assist anyone who needs help at the guild until further notice." Kinbok snarled, "Rovit, I tried to be gentle with you since your father's death, but it's clear you need a rough lesson."
"And you think this 'punishment' will be enough?!" Rovit snarled.
"I'll also inform Kendov that he is to put you through some training, to beat that attitude out." Kinbok replied.
A new day as began, the sun shone brightly into the house, Alexis being the first to wake up, moaned softly as her eyes open, to see Draco sleeping peacefully, his arm still wrapped around her. Her head resting on his chest as her arm and hand draped across him.
"Guess we must have rolled over in our sleep." She thought. She eyes at the scars on Draco's chest, slowly and lightly tracing the claw marks with her fingers, "Hmm, that captain said if we were to- well do it- I would be clawing his back. I wonder, how would that feel?"
Draco groaned lightly as his eyes opened and looked down at Alexis as she looked up hearing him waking up, "Morning, Draco."
Morning, Alexis." He replied, "I take it you slept well?"
"I did." She replied, "What about you?"
"It was nice to wake up without a schedule." He replied.
"And it was nice to wake up to someone you love?" Alexis asked him teasingly.
Draco chuckled lightly as he pulled her closer to him, hearing her slightly moan, stroking at her body and her silk nightgown.
"You think your mother would walk in on us if we did a little more?" she asked.
"One way to find out." He joked, before pulling Alexis on top of him, caressing her back, before kissing her deeply. Alexis returned the kiss, moaning softly as she pressed into Draco, before breaking the kiss and blushing at him.
"Guess I was getting a little too into it." She admitted, embarrassed.
"Good call to stop then." Draco stated, before sitting up, still holding her, "I'll see if anyone else is up and downstairs."
"Alright, if it's fine with you, I'll take the time to wash up." Alexis said.
"Of course, it's fine with me." He replied, "The bathroom is the first door on your left when you leave my bedroom."
They both left the bedroom, Draco heading downstairs as Alexis spotted the door to their bathroom. Draco stretched out, groaning softly, before spotting a pure black tail, rounding the corner to the living room. He followed in pursuit and found his dad sitting in a chair with a small cup of coffee.
"Well, you are up a little early than usual." Krono stated.
"Yeah." Draco replied, "I guess with what you said is true. When one sleeps with their special someone, they have more energy than usual. By the way, Dad? Do you have the day off?"
Krono raised a brow before taking a sip of his coffee, "Why would you ask that?"
"Well, when you are out of the illusion, it's when you have the day off." Draco explained.
"Well, there was another reason, but you were too young for it." Krono replied, "But now, you are old enough. The other reason, if I'm out of the illusion, is I had to woo your mother."
"Umm, 'woo' Mom?" Draco asked, before his snapped open and he gave a slight disgust look and shivered, "Y-you mean?! Y-you and M-Mom?!"
"Unfortunately." Krono replied, "To be fair, she was thinking you and Alexis were doing something in your bedroom, so I had to dominate her to keep her in the bed."
"AAH! SHUT UP DAD!" Draco whined out, not wanting to hear anymore.
"By the way, where is your special friend?" Krono asked, chuckling at Draco's embarrassment.
"She went the bathroom to wash up." Draco replied, causing Krono to cough up as he took another sip of coffee, "Something wrong?"
"Draco, did you forget that your mother and I enchanted that door?" Krono asked, "So instead of the house bathroom, you enter our private royal bath chamber!"
Draco looked at his farther for a few seconds, before his eyes filled with dread, "Oh, fuck me." Draco muttered.
Meanwhile up the bathroom, Alexis stood at the doorway, looking into a large chamber with a large inground bathtub, much larger than the actual bathroom it should be.
"What the hell?" Alexis gasped out, remembering the house from the outside, "Th-there is no way this should even be here."
She gasped out hearing some water splashing, before a light blue scaled dragoness emerged from the water and sighed out as she stood in the center of the tub, the height of the water stopping at her waist.
"Ah, this feels amazing."
"Mrs.-Mrs. Kaitos?!" Alexis gasped out, causing the Dracon Queen to look at the doorway.
"Oh, hello there, Alexis." Saffira simply replied, "Came to the bath chamber to wash up?"
"M-more like the bathroom, but this is something else!" Alexis exclaimed.
"Well, I better explain then." Saffira stated, "Are you just going to stand there? Or close the door and join me in the large bath?"
After a few minutes, Alexis stripped out of her nightgown and sat in the warm water as Saffira sat next to her.
"Ok, to start." She said, "The actual bathroom, was just a stand-alone shower, half a sink and a toilet."
"Really? That's all?" Alexis asked, shocked.
"Yes, so Krono and I decided to use our Spirit Energy to have the door be a Gateway to our private Royal Bath Chamber." Saffira explained, "And it is much better, to put how big that shower was, I couldn't take a shower in my true form."
"Are you serious?"
"I am. It was insulting really. The building pretty much telling us, we had to be in our illusion to enjoy a shower."
"I think I can understand that." Alexis softly said, getting Saffira's attention, "You said the illusion was like wearing a swimsuit, and in your own house you couldn't strip down to enjoy the water running down your body."
Saffira smiled, and lean back slightly, "That is correct." She replied, "I wasn't going to be in an illusion in my own home. Krono may not give a damn, but for me I prefer my own body over being forced to be in an illusion 24/7"
They talked and chuckled for a good while before, Saffira suddenly gave startling glare, nearly feral stare.
"Tell me Alexis, did you and Draco do anything last night?" she slightly growled, startling Alexis, sending a shiver done her spine.
"All-all we-we did was sn-snuggle; I-I swear!" Alexis stuttered out in pure fear, "He-he suddenly wr-wrapped his arm a-around me and j-just said his in-instincts were telling him to do th-that!"
Hearing what was stuttered out, Saffira's glare turned to just a gentle stare, before chuckling softly, "Sorry about that."
"H-huh?" Alexis looked at her, completely confused, "Wh-what the hell just happened?"
"That's easy to answer." Saffira replied, "Whenever people tried to blame Draco for anything, I would give them that glare and they begin to lie through their teeth. I can hear, and even smell the lie from them."
"Because of that glare of yours?" Alexis asked, "Correct." Saffira replied.
"Oh, I get it now." She thought, "That glare, was like a dominance glare, like how an alpha would stare a down a pack member that stole from the kill. Sending them into a panic to try to explain their actions, but the alpha won't have it."
"You must understand." Saffira spoke up, breaking Alexis' train of thought, "Being the Dragon Queen I am kind but I must also be fierce when needed to keep everyone in line."
"And that goes to anyone trying to shame your family?" Alexis asked, getting a nod from her.
Saffira stretched out before standing up, causing Alexis to blush deeply, as she looked at the dragoness' figure and body, "Well, I think we left the boys alone long enough."
After drying off and getting dress with the usual morning wear, like a tank top, and short shorts, but Saffira still wearing her standard clothing and armor. Heading down the stairs, on the way down, Alexis hugged herself and rubbed her arms to warm up.
"Alexis." Draco called out getting her attention, "I'm sorry for not telling you about our bathroom."
"Draco, it's fine." She told him, "I will admit I was surprised when I saw it at first, but your mother explained to me why it was a bath chamber instead."
Draco sighed out and looked back at her, "Hey, you ok?"
"Well, just wondering, do you guys have the heater on at all?"
This time all three of them look at her, and Draco's parents groaned out, "Damn it! I knew we forgotten something Krono!"
"Sorry about that, Alexis." Krono said getting up and walked to the thermostat, "We all have the Inner Fire."
"Inner Fire?" She asked, "Is that why you two never feel cold during the winter?" Draco asked his parents.
"That's right." Saffira stated, "Now that you are an awaken dragon, your Inner Fire has been ignited as well."
Draco looked at his hand, thinking deeply, "Now that you mention it. I didn't feel cold at all today."
"Our Inner Flame keeps us warm during the winter and during those summer heats, it becomes a cooling flame." Krono explained after turning the heat up, "We just got to remember, that we have someone here who doesn't have an Inner Fire."
"So, Draco never had it before?" Alexis asked Saffira.
"Not before his first Shadow Duel." Saffira answered, "When he was younger, he spent all the winter in my arms."
Draco sighed out, "Mom, really?" he whined.
Alexis looked like she was in deep thought, picturing Draco being five- thanks to the picture on the shelf- and seeing him in Saffira's arm.
"Aww that's cute." She said.
"Alexis!" Draco whined, knowing what she was thinking about and blushing in embarrassment. Krono patted his son's shoulder and sighed out.
"Bear with it, Draco." He told him, "This comes with relationships."
After that embarrassing moment, and getting a warm breakfast, Krono shifted to his illusion, "Alright, I'm off to work." He said, "Saffira, I got the Smoker all see and ready to go, all it needs is the mutton."
"I know what I'm going to do while Draco and Alexis are out." She stated.
Draco stopped getting ready for his date, and looked at his parents, "Wait, are you guys seriously doing Seasoned Smoked Mutton?!"
"Of course, we planned on making it at least once while you were here." Saffira replied, "just enjoy your day out and when you return, you'll have your favorite feast."
"I love you guys." Draco said, finishing getting dressed, wearing blue jeans, as well as a jean jacket.
Alexis came back downstairs wearing blue jeans as well and a light jacket, "Did I hear that right?" she asked, "Did you say, Seasoned Smoked Mutton?"
"I did." He replied, "Just wait until it's time to eat. You are in for a real treat when we get back."
They all went their own way for the day, as Draco and Alexis walked around town, Alexis noticed Draco once more brought his duel disk, figuring it was part of his training, but still was concern.
"Draco?" she asked, "About your duel disk?"
"It was part of my training." He replied, "But it's also, my old school bullies said they would get back at me, not only for the Junior League, but also for the written entrance exams."
"They tried to enter the Academy?"
"They did, but like the League, they cheated." Draco spoke, "By that I mean their parents stole one test of someone trying to enter and used a copier, making it look like it was their own work, but there was a judge who saw through it, by trying to erase one of the answers."
"Of course." Alexis gasped, "All the tests must be written with a pencil for any mistakes made."
"That's right, and that same judge found it strange that five other test answers were exactly like one they received much earlier." He explained, "She even used an ink remover wipe and if it was just written it would have smeared."
"But it didn't and that's how she knew." Alexis finished, "I remember hearing that five Entrees were turned down to move to the performance exam, but I never understood why."
"They tried to enter using my written exam." Draco told her, "so, because they were found out, they were banned from ever entering any of the Academies and those bullies said they would try to get back at me for 'ruining' their lives."
"So, you think they might show up?"
"It's a possibility."
Luckily for them, none of Draco's old bullies showed up, and they spent the morning and early afternoon walking around, getting the warm greeting from neighbors and finally finding a restaurant to get some lunch, since they decided to get something to eat during the lunch rush.
"You seem to be well known here." Alexis stated, "Must be due to the wins of the Junior League."
"Actually, it was before that." Draco admitted, "I've always helped anyone since I was eight."
They were finally enjoying a nice date, no one came to either try to break them up or to duel Draco out of jealously, they enjoyed their food and the time with each other. Alexis began to talk about the Tuners she dueled and Draco commenting about her ritual cards.
"I actually mean it. "Draco said, "If you had any of your Ritual Monsters out, I think the duel would have lasted longer and it might have ended in your favor."
"I wouldn't know about ending in my favor." Alexis stated, "I mean I did see that Spell Assassin Fusion of yours I have no idea what it's capable of."
"True." Draco replied, "And I'm not going to tell you what she is capable of doing."
"Well, if I had to guess if a Spell card is activated, you could destroy something on my side of the field?"
"You are close, Alexis. But that's not quite what she can do."
"Is that who I think it is?" a voice spoke up, getting both Draco and Alexis to look at each other confused.
"Did that sound like?" Alexis asked, "Yeah, it did." He replied.
They both looked over their shoulders, spotting a man wearing a red classy business suit with white hair stopping at his shoulders, the banes covering his left eye.
"I thought so. The young inspiring duelist, Draco-boy."
"Maximillion Pegasus?" Draco asked in shock.
"The one and only." The man replied, "I'm quite surprised to see you here. You didn't get expelled from the Academy, did you?"
Draco and Alexis looked at each then back at Pegasus, "No, we're on our Winter Break." He replied.
Pegasus looked over at Alexis, looking somewhat surprised, "Hold on. Aren't you Alexis Rhodes?" he asked, "Currently the best Obelisk Blue Girl?"
"I am." She replied.
"Forgive my surprised reaction, but I just never would have expected to see you here." He replied, before slightly looking back and forth between the two, "Hold on, are you two a—"
"Yes." They both answered.
"And you are currently—"
"Yes."
"Well, this has got to be an exciting story how that all happened." Pegasus stated."
"Excited isn't the word I would use." Draco replied, "And no disrespect, but can't you just use your Millennium Eye to see what happened?"
"Well, I didn't want to intrude in your mind." He replied.
Alexis lightly tugged on Draco's jacket as he looked over before leaning closer to her, "Draco what are you talking about?" she asked.
"He has one of the Seven Millennium Items." Draco explain, "The Millennium Eye seems to let the wielder to read minds. After learning about my family and of my Flames, this surprises you?"
"Did I hear you right, Draco-boy?" Pegasus asked, "You did say 'Your Flames' correct?"
Draco's eyes dart over to him as he looked shocked, "H-how do you know about—"
"How else did you get the Dragon Guard cards?"
Draco thought the question over and over in his head, before one answer came to his head, "Which one of my parents?"
"That would be your father." Pegasus replied, "He tried for weeks to get an appointment with me about making you those Dragon Guards, easiest cards I ever made."
"So, how did you find out about his family?" Alexis asked Pegasus.
"Well, it was just a standard duel until Draco-boy's father played, Lord of the Red." He replied, "Instead of the monster appearing, he was just engulfed in black fire and emerged as the Lord of the Red."
"So, how were the cards the easiest ones you made?" Draco asked, curious about this.
"Well, All I had to do was create the image of each Dragon Guard on the card," Pegasus explained, "The next thing I know, the cards lit up and everything was there."
Draco and Alexis looked stunned at that information, "Y-you mean, their names, Attributes, stats and all that?"
"That's right." He replied, "My guess would be the Duel Spirits were there with him."
"Well, that does sound like them." Draco stated, "Anyways, I'm guess if my Dad put up a decent duel you made the cards?"
"Well, truth was that black fire of his prevented me from reading his mind." Pegasus admitted, Draco's eyes slightly widen at this, "Which means, since you have your own Flame it could be the same."
"Hmm, my parents did say I had to train myself." Draco muttered.
"I'm curious to see if this Eye does what you say." Alexis stated.
"Well, my dear. Seeing how Draco-boy brought his deck, go ahead and pick up the top card from his deck."
Alexis took the top card form Draco's deck and looked at it, as she did, Pegasus moved his hair covering his left eye, revealing the Millennium Eye. It gave a slight shine as he looked at Alexis, seeing the card she picked up in her head.
"Well, you just drew the more kind-hearted one. Kulaas, the Water Dragon Princess." He said with a smile.
Alexis' eyes widen, as Pegasus just named the card she was holding, "Oh shit. It is real." She gasped.
"Alright, let's see if I can read your mind, Draco-boy."
Taking the card Alexis, Draco shuffled his deck, drew the top card, and took some deep breaths to try and use his powers to prevent mind reading. Pegasus looked at Draco, the Eye shining again, seeing the card in Draco's head, before it was engulfed by the swirling Flames.
"Well, it seems you can do it." He told Draco, "Unfortunately you were not fast enough. The card is a Spell. Polymerization to be exact."
Draco sighed out, "Yeah, it is." He answered, "Guess I can stop Mind Readers, but I need more practice."
"If you don't mind me asking." Alexis said to Pegasus, "Why are you here?"
"Well Ms. Rhodes, if you must know." He replied, "I gotten word that Mrs. Kaitos just used the proto-types of the new branch of cards."
Draco and Alexis looked at each other again, she being confused before Draco motion to his eye, which she understood, "So, tell me Draco-boy. Were the cards any good?" Pegasus asked.
Draco looked at him and sheepishly chuckled, "Umm, I wasn't the one my mother used those Tuner cards on."
"Hmm? Just the Tuners?" Pegasus asked, confused, "Wait a moment, if you weren't the one, she used them on then was it your father?"
Draco looked over to Alexis, as did Pegasus, "She used them on you?" he asked.
"Well, yes." Alexis replied, "However it was more of that whole 'Are you good enough for my son' kind of thing."
"Oh, I see." He replied, "Well, knowing what she is, it's only natural she acted like that."
Alexis explained how the Tuners were in the duel, and explained how they were more for defensive use, Pegasus listen intently writing down everything she said.
"Well, this is very helpful." He stated, "I think I have everything I need for now. What you told me, Ms. Rhodes will be very helpful to try and design some Tuners for offensive use."
Hearing Pegasus saying design some new cards, made Draco's face lit up, "We may know someone at the Academy that could help." Draco stated, "In fact that's his dream job, to work in Industrial Illusions to make Duel Monster cards."
"Oh? Mind if I have look then?"
"I don't think I have any defenses up." Draco joked. He allowed Pegasus into his head, seeing a memory of him, Syrus and Chumley looking through his sketch book and at all the card ideas he has drawn up, with Pegasus seeing a few he personally liked.
"Oh my! He's prefect for the job!" Pegasus exclaimed, "I have never seen so much work, so much time, or so much love put into such art!"
Draco lean back in his chair, and chuckled sheepishly, from Pegasus' reaction. After a bit, his right-hand man informed him about the meeting they are about to be late for. Bidding farewell, Pegasus went on his way, leaving the two alone.
"Well, as usual we had someone interrupt our date." Draco stated.
"But this one was surprised by the creator of Duel Monsters." Alexis added.
Draco paid for the lunch and they continue their date for a few hours before returning back to Draco's home. While eating the Mutton, Draco told his parents about talking to Pegasus and told his mother that Pegasus knew about what they really were, which caused her to glare at Krono, with a burst of White Flame around her body as he sighs out. The rest of the winter break, Draco and Alexis went on date every few days, those they didn't, consist of Draco meditating to improve his mental strength and to be more effective with his Flames to protect against mind readers, as for Alexis, she and Saffira continue with the Spirit Gate, and every night Krono had to keep Saffira from going into Draco's room. The morning to return to Duel Academy came. Draco and Alexis got dress, wearing their Dorm Color, they both grabbed their bags and heading down stairs only seeing Saffira waiting for them.
"Where's Dad?" Draco asked, expecting to see both of them waiting for him and Alexis.
"Your father was called into work suddenly." Saffira replied, "His boss, threw his back out, and his grandson rushed him to the hospital."
"Is he alright?" Alexis asked.
"He's been through worst." Saffira replied, "Anyways, they left Téa to stay and watch the shop, but Mr. Muto didn't want her there by herself."
"So, they called Dad to get there much earlier than usual?" Draco asked.
Saffira nods her head, but smiles, "Where else did you think you got your willingness to help anyone in need?"
Draco chuckles as Alexis took hold of his hand, smiling at him. Saffira, changed into her illusion and opened the Spirit Gate to where they first arrived. Passing through the Gate, Sophi looked ahead, while Alexis lets out a small groan, rubbing her forehead lightly.
"Still gives you a headache?" Draco asked.
"Just a light one." She replied, "Glad your mother trained me to gain resistances to it though."
"Hey, Draco?" Sophi called back.
"Yeah, Mom?"
"When does your ship leave?"
"I think in a few minutes."
"Why do you ask, Mrs. Kaitos?" Alexis asked.
They walked up to her, to see nearly everyone had return, but no one was on board yet. Draco looked around and spotted Syrus, Mana, Mindy, and Jasmine.
"Hey, Mom." Draco said, "I can see our friends. Maybe they know what's going on."
"Alright." She replied, "I would stay to see you off, but I did promise your father I would check on his boss when we got to the port."
"It's alright Mom." He replied, giving his mother a loving hug, she returned the hug. They went towards their friends as Sophi walked away, heading to the hospital. As Draco and Alexis made their way to their friends, Jasmine spotted them and waved at them.
"Hey you two!" she called out.
"Hey Jasmine!" Alexis called back.
"Why hasn't anyone boarded the ship?" Draco asked, "It leaves in a few minutes."
"My parents." Syrus muttered.
Draco looked down at Syrus as he sat on the ground, looking ticked off, "Wait, your parents are keeping everyone off the ship?" Draco asked.
"Yeah, even though they were told to let everyone on." He replied.
"Does this have anything to do with—" Mindy started.
"Yes, it does!" Syrus snapped, "I told them not to make a big deal out of it, and even Zane told them not to do anything!"
Draco looked ahead seeing Syrus' parents arguing with the ship hand, as quietly growls and walks up to them.
"Draco?" Mana asked as she watches him storm off.
"Oh, this can't be good." Mindy stated, before they all followed after him.
"If the best is to go on first, why haven't you let my Zane on board?!" Mrs. Truesdale demanded.
"I have told, a thousand times, Mrs. Truesdale!" the crewmate replied, "We have orders from the Chancellor Sheppard, Zane Truesdale isn't the number one duelist anymore."
"And I have told you that's impossible!" she yelled back.
"Mrs. Truesdale!" Draco yelled, "The ship has a schedule to keep! You can't keep us all off just because you disagree with what has happened!"
She glares over to Draco as he returned the glare, "How dare you talk to me in such a matter?" she hissed, "Your parents clearly didn't teach you to respect your elders."
"They did teach me to respect my elders." Draco snapped, "But I am showing you the respect you clearly deserve."
She looked shocked as she gasped out, "How dare you, you nobody!" she gasped.
"Excuse me?"
Draco looked behind him, seeing his mother between him and his friends, glaring at Mrs. Truesdale.
"I might have heard you wrong." Sophi said, "But I think I heard you call my son a 'nobody'?"
"I did call him a nobody!" Mrs. Truesdale admitted, "Because he is from a family of nobodies!"
"You want to know what happen to the last person who called anyone in my family a nobody?" Sophi asked her, as she pulled three cards from her Dueling Deck, and revealing them to the Truesdale, making both of them pale in the face, as Zane looked shocked.
"Im-impossible!" he gasped, "How does she have all three Blue-Eyes White Dragons?!"
All of the Obelisks that weren't aware gasped out, "The last person that called me a nobody, I won the three Blue-Eyes from him in official duels of Battle City!" Sophi snarled out, "And to further his humiliation, I used a Fusion of Blue-Eyes to defeat him the third and final time!"
"Mrs. Truesdale." Draco said, getting her attention, "My mother and father are the ones that trained me in dueling. I have dueled my mother 685 times, and you know how many of those I have won?"
"H-how would I know that?" she asked still in shock, "Out of those 685 duels with my mother, I only won 10 of them." Draco told her.
All the students gasped out, the Obelisks turning completely white, Draco's friends, even Alexis looked shocked.
"685 duels?! And only won 10 of them?!" his friends all thought.
"Draco did say his mother was a great duelist." Alexis thought to herself, "With only 10 wins, I guess it's no surprised that I did lose."
"Know this, Mrs. Truesdale." Sophi snarled, "I was capable of beating Seto Kaiba three times, and as Draco stated, I'm one of the two who trained him. My husband and I began his training when he was only six."
The shipmate motioned his hand to Draco and the friend circle to the ship, Draco gave a nod as they began to board the ship, after which everyone else began to board the ship, Draco looked back still seeing his mother tearing into Syrus' mother, getting him to shiver.
"Man, didn't expect my Mom to still be around." Draco stated.
"Why do you say that?" Syrus asked.
"Well, she was heading to the hospital for my Dad, his boss threw his back out." He answered, "Don't worry, my Mom has said he has been through much worse."
They return to the private suite of the ship for the best student, taking the rooms for the ride and sighing out.
"Guess we'll just stay in here for the whole trip." Mindy stated.
"Yeah, seeing how if we leave the other Obelisks are just going to demand that Syrus and Mana to duel." Jasmine added.
"No." Draco said, getting to look at him, "If they want to duel, I'll be sure that they get the message not to bother us until the classes start back up."
"But Draco." Mana said.
"Mana, last time we gave them what they wanted." He replied, "This time I'm going to show them, they don't own anything."
Once the ship was moving, they left the room and headed to the hang out, dueling, and eating area, where they were confronted with Obelisks, that Draco told to back off or duel him, some backed off, others said they had dueled him, so the threat wasn't fair. To surprise everyone Syrus and Mana Tag Dueled a pair of Obelisks, ending with the Slifers win, in just four turns. After much duels it was down to one Obelisk, that Draco took on.

"I'm afraid to say you are wrong!" Draco snapped, "I equip to Kinbok, Unleash Hidden Potential!"
The Captain held his claymore more tightly before snarling our erupting in a golden yellow aura, glaring at the elven warrior.
Kinbok ATK/2400-3100
"I now the Quick-Play Spell, Gravity Lash! This Spell will make your monster lose Attack Points based on its Defense!"
Obnoxious Celtic Guard ATK/1900-700
"So what?!" he snapped, "You seem to forget my card can't be destroyed by monsters with over 1900 Attack Points. You Slackers never learn."
"You're the Slacker." Draco growled, "Because you forgot- yet again- Kinbok's Ability to still inflict damage to your Life Points, even with Defense Position Monsters!"
The Obelisk student's eyes widen, "Kinbok! End this duel!" Draco roared out, "Shattering Claymore Slash!"
Kinbok roared out, charging forward, with his claymore as the opposing monster lifted the chained shield, blocking the attack, but the weight of the dragon swinging the large sword into the shield causing a shockwave, making the Obelisk to be launched off his feet and slammed into the ground hard.
Obelisk Boy LP:100-0
"And that makes twenty wins for us!"
All the Obelisks that were defeated groaned and glared at them, "Let that be a lesson to you entitled pricks!" Draco roared out, "You Obelisks don't own anything! Not this ship or the Academy!"
"Says you!" one of them yelled out.
"So says the facts!" he snapped back, "You all lost to three Slifers! All of you lost to me twice already!"
"Just face the truth." Alexis suddenly spoke up getting everyone's attention, "Most of you Obelisks are in that dorm, because your parents bribed and had connections to Kaiba to get you into the dorm. Most of you don't even have what it takes to even earn that Blazer."
Of course, that fact made them all backtalk from all those that lost in the duel, before Draco glared at them, letting out a snarl making them shut up. The rest of the trip they had no other problems with the Obelisk, on the trip Draco and Alexis met with Jasmine's and Mindy's boyfriends, both in Ra and were amazing with Draco's dueling, even agreeing he should be in Obelisk. After a few hours, the ship arrived at the Academy. The Chancellor allowed the students to relax for the day, since when they arrived, half the school day was already over. Sheppard sat at his desk looking over to his computer seeing an e-mail sent to him from the headmaster of North Academy.
"Hmm, guess I need to call a little meeting with the teachers to see who will represent us in the duel." He said to himself.
Over the next few weeks, the friend circle reformed, seeing some new pictures hand drawn by Chumley, they all agreed that each one would be great cards. Draco asked Bastion if he had come up with the formula to defeat the Dragon Guards, which he admitted couldn't find the formula in the three weeks he had. As the days went on, a big surprised during the classes when Pegasus arrived and informed Chumley he wanted him to work as a card designer. Saying their good-byes and good lucks, Chumley left the Academy with Pegasus. During the first few nights, Draco and Syrus felt their dorm room felt empty with Chumley no longer there. As the weeks went on, some of the Blue dorm noticed that Chazz hasn't been seen of months, since before the winter break. However, Draco wasn't fazed by that at all.
Up in the conference room, Sheppard and the teachers talked about who would be the representative for Duel Academy, with Crowler pushing for Zane.
"Well, as much as a great Duelist Zane is, he did say he wishes to focus on his studies." Sheppard reminded him.
"Truth of the matter, I want to run simulations with that deck that Slacker's mother used." Zane thought, "If I beat the accurate deck, then I can beat him for sure."
"Besides, Crowler." Mai spoke up, "North Academy is using a first year. We should do the same."
"Oh, right." Crowler muttered, "I completely forgotten that fact."
"Well, I do have three candidates from my dorm." Banner spoke up.
"If you are thinking one of them is Syrus, he is not up for considerations!" Zane snapped, "He will be crushed under the pressure, and the only punishment for him should expulsion!"
"Harsh coming from you Hun." Mai muttered, "He has come a long way since then. He no longer panics if called upon to answer questions in class."
"He doesn't even panic during written exams." Sir Sartyr added.
"And I think you are also thinking of Mana as well?" Sheppard asked Banner.
"Indeed, however if any of them were not up for the consideration, my final candidate is Draco Kaitos." Banner happily said.
All the teachers, minus Crowler agreed on that suggestion, even Zane was agreeing.
"You can't possibly be thinking of a Slifer Slacker to be in a position as important like this?!" Crowler snapped.
"He has a perfect winning streak and was able to defeat Zane in a duel in front of us all." Sheppard pointed out.
"He does." Mai stated, "However, there is a Ra student with a perfect winning streak as well."
"Mrs. Wheeler are you suggesting young Bastion Misawa?" Sartyr asked.
"I am." She replied, "However- before Crowler jumps the gun- I think we should leave it to them to decide this matter."
"Aren't they taking the same class, right now?" Banner asked.
"You two as the dorm heads should head there and tell them." Sheppard told the two teachers.
At the gym, the Ras and Slifers for the class were playing baseball. The teams being the Raging Ras against the Slifer Strikers. Nearing the end of the game, the Ras were batting with the bases loaded and two outs. After the third Ra loaded the bases, the Slifers switched Pitchers having Draco get strike outs until the Ras sent Bastion to bat for them.
"Alright class." Ms. Fortaine announced, "If Bastion can hit even a single the Ras win, but if Draco strikes him out, then it's home run sudden death!"
"You got this Bastion!" a Ra yelled out.
"He can't strike you out! You know exactly what is being thrown at you!" another shouted.
"What they don't know, is that was able to read the movement of their arms and fingers on the ball." Bastion thought to himself, "That is why I have been able to hit all the pitches as well as when I pitch, seeing what their stances are is how I was able to strike them out."
Draco looked at Syrus as he was giving out pitching methods, the best he could, as Draco fondle the ball, before noticing one thing and smirked at Syrus, nodding. Taking the ball into his hand ready to pitch.
"Hmm, finger position, Fastball." Bastion thought. Draco reared back his arm and pitched the ball, before Bastion swung for it.
"Strike One!" Ms. Fortaine yelled out.
"WHAT?!" the Raging Ras gasped.
Bastion looked shocked as he remained frozen after his swing, "What was that?! I was for sure that was Fastball! But it suddenly curved away from me and back into the Strike Zone."
Syrus tossed the ball back to Draco as he was ready for the next pitch, again Bastion paid attention to the fingers, seeing Draco ready for a Splitter pitch. Draco again let the ball loose, at first being low to the ground, but again halfway down the path, it shot up.
"Strike Two!"
"Are you kidding me!?" a Ra shouted, "That was clearly a Ball!"
"Actually, it wasn't a Ball." Ms. Fortaine explained, "Before it went over the Home plate, the ball rose into the Strike Zone."
Bastion looked back at Draco shocked again, "Still haven't figured it out, Bastion?" he asked, "You're not the only one that can read body movement."
"Wait, you mean?" Bastion asked.
"That's right." He replied, "I noticed you watching my fingers, so I knew you were reading what Ball I was throwing. However, I have been doing something behind my head as I reared for the pitch."
"And that was what?" Bastion asked.
"Simple." Draco replied, "It's all in the wrist movement. By twisting my wrist at the peak of the pitch, I can change what I throw."
Bastion chuckled before getting ready for the next pitch, "Impressive." He said, "I was afraid you weren't going to give me challenge."
Draco narrowed his eyes and reared his arm back, before launching the ball, this time Bastion manage to see it was just a plain Fastball, swinging the bat, followed by a loud crack, Syrus groan out as something hit his hand as the others look up.
"What the?" Syrus gasped out, as the Ras yelled at Bastion to run.
"That's not the ball!" Draco called out, as the object fluttered to the ground, everyone out on the field came over to see it was the outer casing of the ball.
"Where's the rest of the ball?" a Slifer asked, Draco looked back at Syrus holding the rest of it.
"Syrus has it." Draco replied, "And that wasn't the only thing busted."
Bastion looked down and saw he was holding the bottom half of his bat.
"Well, that's unexpected." He muttered.
"Umm, I guess the game is a tie." Ms. Fortaine announced, "Class is over."
Bastion walked up to Draco, panting heavily, "I wasn't expecting your Fastball to be so destructive." He said.
"Well, to be honest." Draco replied, "I was using one of my Sensei's martial arts, he calls it the Bone Breaker."
"It breaks bones?" Syrus gasped.
"It's mostly a close range, when you have someone in an one arm lock followed by quick jabs in one spot in quick successions, that cracks, fractures, then breaks the bone." Draco explained.
"Ah, there they are."
Draco, Syrus, and Bastion looked over seeing Professor Banner and Sir Sartyr walking up to them.
"Professor Banner, Sir Sartyr." Draco stated, "Are we in any form of trouble?"
"Of course not, my boy." Banner replied, "But we do need to talk to you and Bastion."
They both looked at each other, before Sir Sartyr looked at Syrus, getting him to let out a startled yelp, "What we have to say is for Draco Kaitos and Bastion Misawa only."
"AH! Y-yes sir!" Syrus yelled out and took off running, "Anyway you two, we have important business to disgust with you."
After a bit of explanation and finding a quieter location to talk, "A Representative Duel?" Draco asked.
"That's right." Banner replied, "Every year two Academies are chosen at random and this year it happened to be our Duel Academy and North Academy."
"And it is always the best student of each being for the one to represent their Academy." Sir Sartyr explained, "And the teachers were stuck between you two."
"So, how is it you never came to a decision?" Draco questioned.
"Well, that would be difficult." Banner replied, "Since Sartyr and I would want the student in our dorm to be our choice."
"So, we decided to leave it to you two." Sartyr said with a smile, before it vanished as he saw Draco and Bastion grinning at each other.
"Well, seems an opportunity has presented itself for us to duel each other." Draco said.
"My thoughts exactly." Bastion replied, "And by the end of the duel I'll be the new number one."
"You seem sure you'll win."
"Uh, you boys have a few days before deciding what to do." Banner said nervously.
Both boys look at the Dorm heads, "Just give us a few hours." They both said.
Banner and Sartyr chuckled nervously "seeing" the intense flames the students gave off, "I think we may have made a bad decision." Banner whispered, "I agree." Sartyr agreed.
Only thirty minutes passed, both boys were in their dorm rooms, Bastion trying to formulate a deck to take out the Dragon Guards, while Draco used the Academy website to try and use the information on Bastion to study him and to figure out what he'll use on him.
"Draco!"
Draco snapped his eyes and looked at the door seeing Syrus, Mana, and Alexis entering the room.
"Hey guys." He simply greeted them.
"That's all you have to say?!" Syrus asked, panicked.
"Why are you dueling Bastion?" Mana asked.
"That's all you guys wanted to know?" Draco asked them.
"He happens to be our friend!" Mana snapped.
"Did you all forget?" Draco asked, "After his duel with Chazz, he said he wouldn't join the Blue dorm until he defeated me in a duel."
"That's right, he did say that." Alexis stated, "So, you two were really waiting for a chance to duel each other?"
"In a way, we were." He replied, "We just weren't expecting one to just show up. Now, guys I don't mean to be rude, but I need to study on Bastion to figure out what deck he'll be using."
They looked at each other before leaving the room, leaving Draco to return his research, before he sighed out, "Something on your mind, Alexis?"
"Do you think it's a good idea to face Bastion?" she asked.
"Well, I know he has six decks on him." Draco stated, "But I have a feeling he's going to try and build a deck that will weaken my Dragon Guard."
"If you are thinking that, won't he be thinking the same?" She asked him.
Draco thought for a moment, before he eyes snapped open, "I nearly forgotten about those cards." He muttered, then walking to his backpack, and pulling some cards out.
"Are those?"
"Cards I had for the Dragon Guards, but I had no use for them, until now. Also, I'm going ask one of my parents a little favor."
Over in the Ra Yellow Boy dorm, Bastion smiled at the formula he just finished, leaning back in his chair with confidence, "I have finally solved your deck, Draco. It's time for a new dawn to rise."
After a few hours, the students gathered in the Dueling Stadium, already the Blues talking smack, about how Draco will finally lose and be the trash he is, the Ras were believing that Bastion had the duel in the bag, not even worth to watch, the Slifers however believed it was going to be a tough one but they hope that Draco comes out on top. Draco waited in one of the entryways waiting to be called out, as he waited, hearing Chancellor Sheppard calm the crowd and began to explain the reasoning for the duel, before Kinbok appeared in front of him.
"Geez, what is it, Kinbok?" Draco asked him.
"Well, I was waiting for the time you and your mate—"
"GIRLFRIEND!" Draco snapped, correcting him for the hundredth time.
"WHATEVER! The point is I have news about her brother!" Kinbok snapped back, causing Draco's eyes to snap wide.
"What was that?" Draco asked, "You have news on Atticus?"
"I do." He replied, "It was about a month ago, during your winter break, however the person that saw recognized him from the picture said he was wearing a mask, we have a second batch of pictures of him so you can see for yourself."
"And now to be one of the Academy's representative!" Sheppard announced, getting Draco's attention, "From the Slifer Red Dorm, currently the number one student and by far, the best Dragon user I have seen in the Academy; Draco Kaitos!"
After his name was announced, Draco walked down the pathway and to the dueling stage, hearing the cheers from the Slifer Red and his friend circle, while ignoring the jeers from the blue dorm. Once he got into position Sheppard leaned to Draco, slightly concerned.
"I knew you had a bad reputation with the Blue dorm but this is insane." He muttered.
"Well, if they didn't spend each day pissing me off, and having me hunt them down." Draco stated.
"Fair enough. And now the other contestant to be our representative, from the Ra Yellow Dorm, the rising star and super genius, Bastion Misawa!"
The Ra student walked down his pathway, as Draco noticed in a very confidant way, taking his spot on the stage.
"Your walk was very confidant, Bastion." Draco stated, "Almost as if you were taunting me."
"And what would I be taunting to you in that way?" he asked.
"As if you found a way to defeat my Dragon Guards." Draco replied, "Of course, the only monster I know that can do that is Buster Blader and the fusion, Buster Blader the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman."
"Who do you think I am?" Bastion asked, "The first time we talked you said you had a card that protects them from the Trap Dragon Capture Jar, so I came to the conclusion you also had a method for both Buster Bladers."
Both duelist exchange decks to shuffle before handing them back and returning to their position for the duel to begin.
"Alright you boys know what the winner gets?" Sheppard asked them, getting a nod from both of them, "Alright now before the duel begins. A coin toss to decide who goes first."
A large hologram of a coin appeared in the center of the dueling field, "Call it!" Sheppard told the boys as the coin "flipped".
"Tails!" Draco called out.
"Heads!" Bastion called.
The coin landed, revealing the side it landed on, "Bastion makes the first move!" Sheppard announced.
At the sitting area, Syrus shuddered from the result of the coin toss, "You ok there, Syrus?" Jasmine asked.
"Just a feeling." Syrus replied, "Draco has always been lucky, but he just called wrong, like his luck was used up."
The rest of them looked nervous, but Alexis looked down at the ring and smiled, "I don't think that's it." She said, "Coin tosses are random after all."
"DUEL!"

"Alright, time to beat those Guards once and for all." Bastion said, drawing the first card, "I set two cards face down, and I summon Hydrogeddon in Attack Mode!"
After two cards appeared in his back row, taking the front line was a brown liquid looking creature, looking like a quad pedal dinosaur.

"That's all for this turn."
Draco looked over the field as he drew his first card, "Ok, that monster is obviously bait to trigger those face downs." He thought, "However, that monster is just one piece of one of his Ace cards, it'll be bad if I leave it on the field."
Draco looked at his hand carefully, eyeing one of the cards he just added, "Not yet." He muttered with a grin, "Alright, I'll start with Double Summon!"
"Hmm, unexpected." Bastion stated, "Just who are you summoning?"
"My first summon is Mindokah, Scholar of the Dragon Guard!" Draco announced as his first Dragon Guard appeared, giving a smirk as she struck a pose, slamming her staff into the ground.

Bastion looked a little blushing seeing her clothing or lack of, "Are you trying to throw me off?" he asked.
"Of course not." Draco replied, "I just never had the siblings out together for a while."
"The siblings?"
"With Double Summon, I now summon Mindokah's brother Rovit, the Dragon Guard Scout!" Draco roared out, summoning the second Guard.

"Now I activate Rovit's Special Ability!" Draco announced, "His Ability, lets me pick up the top card of my deck and if it's a monster, I can summon it, no tribute, or Special Abilities."
"Oh, this is one intense duel!" One student spoke up, "That Slacker is about to get three Monsters in one turn."
"That's if that top card is a Monster." Another stated
Draco took hold of the top card on his deck pulling it out and then looked at it, before chuckling, "The card on top is in fact a Monster." Draco announced, before slamming the card on the field, the shimmering light, had the stadium in awe, before it was replaced with shudders of fear as from the shimmering light came loud snarls, before a White Dragon emerged and roared out, even making Mindokah and Rovit to look back in shock.

"Wh-what in the world?!" Bastion gasped out, as the White Dragon snarled at him, "How do you have that card?!"
"I pretty much had to beg my Mom to use her card." Draco replied.
Flashback 20 minutes ago.
"Please?" Draco begged for ten minutes straight.
"No." Saffira bluntly replied, "Why would let you use all three Blue-Eyes and Twin Burst?"
"I told you," he replied, "My opponent is a friend and he thinks ahead like me. I want to throw him off."
"My answer is still—"
"Why not let them decided?" Alexis asked, "Let the Blue-Eyes decide if they want to."
That's a good idea, Alexis." Draco said, "Hey White Dragons, Twin Burst?"
All four dragons appeared behind Saffira, getting her to look surprised at the four large dragons, "Do you guys want to help me out in a duel that's happening in a few minutes?" he asked them.
The five heads look at each other, Twin Burst having two heads, before they all looked back at Draco and gave an approved growl.
"Oh, fine!" Saffira huffed, "It's clear that our subjects like you more than me, but you are only getting one!"
"I guess that's fair, Mom." Draco replied.
Flashback Ends.
"Besides, I just wanted to see how this worked in your formula." Draco told Bastion, "Blue-Eyes White Dragon, attack Hydrogeddon! White Lightning!"
"Well, I will say that was a surprised, but it still works in my formula." Bastion said with a smirk, "I activate my Continuous Trap; Out of Season!"
"Out of Season?" Draco asked, "What the heck is that card?"
"Think of it like Hunting Seasons." Bastion explained, "I just have to call out a Monster type, and as long as my trap is activated that Monster cannot declare attacks."
"There has to be a catch for activating that Trap." Draco stated, "So, true, I have to discard the Monster I wish to prevent attacking." Bastion replied, "And I happen to have a Dragon in my hand, I discard Hyuzanryu, to activate Out of Season!"
After bastion discard his Dragon card, Blue-Eyes White Dragon ceased its attack, letting out a threating hiss at Bastion. Draco looked at the remaining cards in his hand.
"I'll lay my remaining cards face down ending my turn." Draco said, his backrow appearing with three face downs.
"Oh man!" Syrus whined out, "Draco is a really in a bad spot!"
"I don't want to pick sides, since I'm not in Ra or Slifer." Mindy stated, "But I think Syrus is right."
"You two are missing one fact." Alexis said to them.
"And what's that, Alexis?" Jasmine asked.
Everyone looked at the duel trying to figure what Alexis meant, before Mana's eyes widen, seeing Draco smirking.
"Why is Draco smiling like that?" she asked.
"Because he has a plan." Alexis replied.
Bastion drew his card, and examined the field carefully, "Hmm all three in attack, his Rovit's Special Ability is only when summoned, but his Mindokah, I have no knowledge on." Bastion thought, "However none of his monsters can attack, but if I attack one of those face down could be trigger." "I'll summon my second Hydrogeddon and call it a turn."
A second brown liquid dinosaur creature appeared on his side, "No attack?" Draco question his Ra friend.
"Of course not." He replied, "If I did, I would have paid the price."
"Actually, you paid the price by not attacking."
Bastion looked at Draco confused, before all three of Draco's face down revealed themselves, "All of them were Jar of Greed?!" Bastion gasped out.
"That's right." Draco replied, drawing three cards, before drawing his fourth to begin his turn, "This is a duel between two smart duelists, the best way to duel one is to know how the other would think."
Bastion chuckled softly, being outsmarted for the first time, "My next card is Pot of Greed!" Draco told Bastion, drawing two more cards, "Alright, I'll set this card down, switch both of my Guards to Defense Mode, and activate my Continuous Spell, Dragon Guard Skill: Magical Barrier!"
The Spell that Draco showed was a large light blue alchemic circle rune, before sliding it into a slot as his Guards each took a knee, but Mindokah laid her staff down and looked into her grimoire, finding the page with the same rune, and taking a dagger, craved the rune into the ground before pulling a vile out with a light blue liquid in it, before pouring it into the rune she craved, before it glows brightly and then grew across Draco's field, surrounding the monsters.
"What does that card do?" Bastion asked.
"For now, not much." Draco replied, "Until, I can get its sister card is out, but until then, I only receive half of ability damage."
"Half of ability damage?" Bastion question, before realizing, "Wait, you mean if I were to have my Solar Flare Dragons out, instead of taking 500 Life Points damage from each of them?"
"That's right, I would only take 250 from them, same goes with Spells and Traps." Draco replied, "Like say Magic Cylinder; if I attacked with Blue-Eyes and you used that trap I would take 1500 points instead of 3000."
The stadium was murmuring hearing the power of the Spell, "How does that Slacker have such powerful cards?!"
"We should have those cards!"
"Except to use this card I also need a face up Dragon Guard on the field." Draco announced hearing the students, "My turn is over."
Bastion drew his card, giving an amusing huff, "Well, seems I just drew Pot of Greed myself." He announced, drawing two cards, "Well time to go on the offence. I summon Oxygeddon in attack mode."
A green gaseous taking form of a pterodactyl appeared roaring out.

"And now my face down, Bonding – H2O! With this I tribute both my Hydrogeddon and Oxygeddon in order to summon, Water Dragon!"

"So, that's one of the other Aces you have?" Draco said starring at the Water Dragon.
"Indeed, and now I think I'll get rid of one of those Guards." Bastion said, "Water Dragon attack, the Scout! Tidal Blast!"
The large dragon began to build up more and more water in it's month to launch at Rovit, as Draco gave a smirk, "Oh, almost forgot." Bastion added, "Incase, you try to use Negate Attack or Draining Shield, I'll activate this Quick-Play from my hand, Atomic Breath!"
"I'm going to take a guess and say, that card prevents me from negating your attack?" Draco asked.
"Right on the spot." Bastion replied, smiling, "Funny, I never said I planned on negating it." Draco replied.
Bastion looked bewildered, "I activated my Continuous Trap, Dragon Guard Skill: Physical Barrier!" The Trap had another alchemic circle but different patterns and runes from the other and was glowing a mild purple. Once again, Mindokah, looked through her grimoire, before craving the circle into the ground and poured the same colored liquid into the newly craved circle, then expanded to surround Draco's field.
"Wait, isn't that the other Barrier you spoke of?" Bastion asked.
"It is and now both of their full powers are unleashed." Draco replied, "Now Magical Barrier prevents my Monsters from being destroyed by card abilities. And Physical Barrier, at first will half battle damage, but now my monsters can't be destroyed in battle."
The Water Dragon let loose its attack a large stream of pressurized water gushed towards Rovit, before a barrier encased his field, intercepting the attack.
"Guess my turn ends." Bastion said. Draco drew his card and smiled, activating the card he drew, being Card of Sanctity, both of them drawing until they have six cards, in the teachers sitting section Banner and Sartyr, praised their student for each move that gave them an advantage.
"Well, this very interesting." Mai stated, "They both seem to know each other moves and managed to outsmart each other on every turn."
"Yes, they are doing that." Ms. Fortaine agreed, "I have heard and seen Draco's dueling skills, but not against someone who can think ahead."
"Indeed." Sheppard added, "I think it was a wise decision to let them figure out who should be the representative for the academy."
"And why is that Chancellor?" Crowler asked.
"Are you blind, Vellian? Just look at them. Friends from different dorms, not holding back."
"Exactly." Mai stated, "For this duel, right when they shuffled each other decks they gave the hidden message, 'We are friends but during this duel, that won't stop me from going all out.' They are not holding back as they shouldn't."
"Alright Bastion!" Draco called out, "I Special Summon Kinbok, Captain of the Dragon Guard!" Draco placed the card down, summoning his fourth monster, wielding his large claymore, ready for battle.

"And now I'll upgrade Kinbok's claymore, with this Sword of the Lightning Drake!" Draco called out, sliding the card down, causing his large sword to change its shape, the inner part becoming more jagged and a mix of light purple and blue, almost scale like, while the hand guard and blade became pale gold. The shape nearly resembling a lightning bolt, as actual lightning shot from a gem right above the hand guard.
Kinbok ATK/2400-3200
"Well, that put a dent in the formula." Bastion stated, "But it didn't destroy it. I take it it's my turn now?"
"That it is." He replied.
Bastion drew his next card, and began to chuckled, "Phase two is about to begin."
"Oh? Phase two?" Draco asked, "That's right my friend." Bastion replied, "I activate Bonding – CO2!"
"This deck has both Fire and Water Dragon?" Draco thought, "He must have gotten the other two Oxygeddon and Carboneddon with Card of Sanctity."
Bastion discard the three monsters to the grave, before a pillar of fire shot up and took from of a dragon, roaring out as well.

"It's a shame I can't destroy any of your monsters, so I'll end my turn." Draco drew his card, glancing over to it, before chuckling, "Why are you chuckling, Draco?" Bastion asked, "If it happens to be a good Dragon Guard you can't attack with it."
"It's not a Monster, it's a Spell." Draco replied, turning it over for Bastion to see, in turn caused him to gasp out.
"I forgot about that card!" He stated, "Mystical Space Typhoon!"
"And with this, it is officially open season!" Draco roared, "I can't believe I just made a pun with his Out of Season Trap." He activated the Spell, in turn shattering the trap, after which Blue-Eyes shook its head around, as Kinbok's stance got more serious.
"Alright, Kinbok! Attack Water Dragon! Dragon Lightning Slash!"
Kinbok snarled out, leaping forward as the sword, crackled and spark before the lightning from the blade erupted and nearly covered the field as Kinbok jumped towards the large Water Dragon, slashing the sword, serving the head.
Kinbok ATK/3200-4600
"Hold on, how did you monster get stronger?" Bastion asked.
"That would be the Sword of the Lightning Drake." Draco replied, "It was forged using the scale and the fang of a Lightning Dragon. When Heimwahl put the hammer on the blade to forge it, it always made sparks and lightning to flash off of it, showing the scale and fang had the life of the dragon."
"So, in other words?"
"In other words, the blade absorbs half of the strength of the WATER creature the wielder battles."
Bastion LP:4000-2200
"Blue-Eyes your turn!" Draco roared, "White Lightning Fire Dragon!"
The White Dragon roared out, as its mouth filled with the white plasma, before blasting a steam of white lightning at the Fire Dragon, making the flaming body dissipate until there was nothing left of the monster.
Bastion LP:2200-1900
"Oh man, that Slifer just knocked Bastion below the 2000 mark." A Ra student said to another.
"Yeah, I'm starting to believe those rumors."
"You mean the one about the Slifer being an actual Obelisk?"
"The very same."
"That damn Slacker!" an Obelisk snapped, "He doesn't deserve or have the honor that should have been giving to us Elites!"
"Go back to the slums where you crawled from your Slifer Trash!" another yelled out to the stage, only to jump back as the Blue-Eyes "hologram" glares over and snarls threatening at him.
"What the hell why did that hologram react like it heard me?"
"Way to go, Draco!" a Slifer cheered, "That's showing everyone that we are not a waste of space!"
Syrus and Mana hearing the cheers from the Slifers, before looking at each other.
"Draco really has boosted the Slifer dorm's moral." Mana stated.
"Well, we were two that could hardly duel." Syrus stated.
"And under Draco's training and our friend study group," Jasmine added, "You two are now tied to be the second best Slifer."
"I know it's hard to pick a side for you guys." Alexis said, "You guys want Draco to win since he is a Slifer, but you want bastion to win, thinking if he loses, he won't be friends with us anymore."
"Yeah, it is hard." Syrus replied, "Wait. Bastion is smiling."
They all look back at the duel seeing that was smiling, "Did… Did Draco play into his hand or is he having a blast?" Mindy asked.
"I have to say Draco," Bastion yelled out, "I haven't had someone keep up with me in both a duel and intelligence in ages."
"Glad to see you are having fun." Draco replied, "My turn ends, Smart guy."
Bastion drew his card, glancing at it, before slowly chuckling, "Alright Draco, thanks to you, Phase Three is all set. I activate the Ritual Card, Bonding – CH2O3!"
The stadium gasped out as Draco widen his eyes, "I take it that only works if you have the six monsters you used two summon Water and Fire Dragon in the grave?" he asked.
"Or I can just banished Water Dragon and Fire Dragon." Bastion stated, "Which I am going to do."
The two dragons return to the field before they both became pillars of their element and crashed in the center from where they stood, steaming up the stadium. After the steam cleared what remained on Bastion's field was a pile of black stones. Draco looked at the pile before it began to glow between them and then began to move and take a shape of a dragon, between the rocks, Draco noticed the glow was in fact lava, as the creature roared out.
"Behold my indestructible Obsidian Dragon!" Bastion announced.

"I take it can't be destroyed?" Draco asked.
"He can, but only by a monster that shares his Attributes." Bastion replied.
"Attributes?"
"Correct, my Obsidian Dragon's Special Ability has it so his Attribute is EARTH, FIRE, and WATER."
"Well, that just means, Kinbok will still get a power boost if he battles." Draco stated.
"Funny you mention that." Bastion stated, "I play my own, Mystical Space Typhoon!"
Kinbok slightly looked surprised before the sword returned to his standard claymore.
Kinbok ATK/3200-2400
"I also use this spell, Stop Defense!" Bastion added, "I'll switch your Scholar to Attack Mode."
Mindokah suddenly stood up in Attack Position before gasped out, "Obsidian Dragon, attack the Scholar! Obsidian Lava Burst!" Bastion ordered.
The black stone dragon reared back, as lava and obsidian pooled in its mouth, before launching a blob of lava covered obsidian towards the Scholar, before the Physical Barrier reactivated, taking most of the attack, but the splash of the lava still made it pass the barrier, causing Draco to grunt out.
Draco LP:4000-3100
"Hold on." Bastion stated, "The difference in our attack is 1800, why did you only lose 900?"
"That would be the Physical Barrier." Draco reminded him, "My Monsters can't be destroyed in battle and I only take half the battle damage."
Bastion facepalmed himself, "Ah, I forgot that. Well, my turn ends."
Draco drew his card, looking over everything he had, before he eyed the card he drew, "Well, guess it's my turn to bring something new out."
"What?" Bastion asked.
"I activate Polymerization!" once more a familiar vortex appeared over Draco's field, "I fuse Kinbok, Rovit, and Mindokah!" All three of the Dragon Guards leaped into the swirling vortex, before beams of light burst out, shining on the whole field, before a silhouette of the new monster began to descend from the vortex. As the light faded Bastion stared at a full body pale silver armored dragon as it unsheathed its sword under the heavy armor was a layer of pale blue scales as the dragon looked up at Bastion.
"Say hello to Stahdim, the Holy Dragon Guard!" Draco called out.

"So, what does he do?" Bastion asked.
"Glad you asked." Draco replied, "If I use only Dragon Guards, besides Kinbok, Stahdim can't be destroyed by battle. If I use only LIGHT Attribute Monsters any monster it battles, you will lose Life Points equal to half of its Attack Points."
Bastion took the information about this new Dragon Guard, before he gasped out, "Wait. You used only Dragon Guards and LIGHT Attribute Monsters!"
"That's right." Draco replied, "Which means he is at full power! But, it's not over, I now activate the Equip Spell, Sword of Healing Light!"
Stahdim's sword changed to be a sword that the blade was pure clean white, the metal in the center a bronze gold with a large pearl at the center of the hand guard.
Stahdim ATK/3000-3500
"What does that card?" Bastion asked, "What this card does, if it's equipped to a LIGHT Monster, any damage I inflict on you, I gain that same amount." Draco explained.
"So, with that Equip boost and his Ability?" Bastion began to analyze the situation, before his eyes widen, "That's impossible!"
"Afraid so, buddy." Draco confirmed his analysis, "Stahdim, attack Obsidian Dragon! Healing Slash!"
Stahdim gives a nod before charging at the large creature. Getting halfway across the battle field, hie leaped into the air as the Sword began to glow brightly, bringing it above his head, before swinging it down, clashing with the black stony head of the Dragon as some pebbles broke off, knocking against Bastion's head.

"Stahdim! Activate your Special Ability!" Draco ordered, "Holy Retribution!"
The Dragon Guard placed a hand on Obsidian Dragon's head before a blast of light engulfed it, causing Bastion to shield his eyes, grunting out.

The Ras were in complete shock, the Obelisks were pissed beyond words, before the Slifers burst into cheers, followed by the Ras for the great duel. The holograms vanished as Draco walked up to Bastion who was kneeling on the ground. He looked up as Draco smiled down and held a hand out, helping the Ra up to his feet.
"Your scientific logic has nothing on sheer dumb luck." Draco told him.
"For now." Bastion replied, "It just shows that this deck was not the one meant to defeat your deck. I'll just have to keep at it."
"And if you come across a new formula, I'll take you on."
"That was a fantastic duel from both of you." Sheppard announced as he gets to the stage, "I do hope to see another duel like that later on."
"Thank you, Chancellor." They said in union.
"And with that, Draco is our representative with the duel against North Academy!" Sheppard announced to the Stadium. The Slifers cheered on, the Ras applauded, but the Obelisks were mumbling, hoping that Draco would lose. The others in the friend circle got on the stage high-fiving and even hugging it out with the two boys, until Alexis and Draco hugged each other tightly.
"That was close duel." She told him.
"Close, but fun." He replied.
"I have to agree." Bastion said.
"The Representative Duel will happen in four days, Draco if you want you can take those four days to get ready for the duel." Sheppard said.
"Thanks for the offer," Draco said to the Chancellor, "but I'll take my classes and use the time between the classes and free time to work on my deck."
Meanwhile up in a snow-covered landscape, stood a building similar Duel Academy surround by an old western style village, and the occupants standing in front of the main building with Headmaster looking at the crowd with a student next to him.
"He has been here for a day and has proven to be the best here in North Academy." He announced, "And with his skills we will win the duel against Duel Academy and they will learn the power of our best student, Chazz Thunder!"
All the students began to chant, "Chazz it up!" over and over again as the student by the Headmaster chuckled evilly as he smiled with his arms crossed across his chest.
"The Chazz is number one!" he said, "Watch out, Slacker, your time is now up!"
