A/N: Here is Chapter 2! I hope you enjoy… as we begin the series.
Last time on Poké Rangers Relic Hunters…
The Mystic Force Rangers had no rest for the weary when Archie wanted to steal the Primal Weapons. Learning that the Mystic Library is unsafe, Rachel seals off the Mystic Mansion. Maxie and Archie show up with modified weapons to destroy the rangers. They were successful in destroying the Mystic Morphers. Kidnapping Camille, Etna and Marianne, the rangers must find a way to get the weapons back before the Crown of Weather is shown. Luckily, for Jack, he is their lucky chance. What is he talking about? Stay tuned.
Chapter 2: The Crown of Weather Part 2
The winds were roaring with thundering rain as Team Aqua's vehicles were driving up Route 119. As the raindrops kept getting bigger, a wave of torrential downpours surrounded the route as they noticed the Weather Institute, which stood high among the trees. The vehicle pulled up as two Team Aqua Grunts opened the car door, turning to the back of the car opening it up. Camille, Etna and Marianne were walking with their hands behind their back. Archie followed them from behind. The door swung open with full force, breaking the glass that currently was intact. Archie laughed manically, knocking the three of them down to their knees. He grinned as a few scientists were tied up.
"Good," said Archie, "All is according to plan. Using this, I plan on finding the location to get the crown."
"So… breaking into the Weather Institute was your big plan? That was probably the dumbest idea I have ever heard," Camille stated, "There's nothing here. It's just a Weather Center!"
"Oh, you weren't here when I tried to steal Castform," said Archie.
"I heard about that. Brendan stopped you, didn't he?" Camille asked. Archie hissed as Camille grinned from ear to ear. Brendan was the trainer that stopped Archie and Maxie's scheme years ago. To hear his name come out of her mouth, it made Archie a very angry man. For Camille, she called him out, grinning from ear to ear.
"DON'T BRING HIS NAME UP IN MY PRESENCE!" he roared.
"Ah… Archie," a voice said. It was familiar.
Archie turned around, noticing three familiar faces. Maxie laughed as he looked at the three trainers and the Team Aqua soldiers.
"Maxie… but… how?" asked Archie.
"Simple… The Crown of Weather is located right above the mountains of the Weather Institute… you are going to the most northern point of the region are you?" Maxie asked.
"What's it to you?" asked Archie, he raised an eyebrow, "Unless…"
"Simple…," said Maxie, "There's a hidden cave north of here. It required Waterfall. So…"
Archie's eyes enlarged, "You mean to tell me you had to beat us first so you can use to climb Waterfalls? Maxie, find your own way."
Maxie grinned as he turned around, snapping his fingers. Immediately, Magma Grunts dashed over as they took Etna, Camille and Marianne. The Magma Grunts laughed as they grabbed them by the arm. Archie turned around, "They're mine!"
"No… they're mine. Unless, you give me the Primal Weapons… they are bonded to them… so, if you don't give them up, I would have to kill them," said Maxie, grinning. He walked over toward Archie, "And last time I checked, if I kill any of them, Kalos's Knights would be here the next day… and it would be on your head. Be smart, Archie."
Archie grumbled as he looked at Maxie. He snapped his fingers. Shelly walked over with the bag, giving it to Courtney. Courtney grinned as Maxie turned to him, "Take us up there."
Ten minutes later…
After Team Aqua used their special technique to climb waterfalls with their equipment, the team finally arrived on the top of Route 119. Etna saw it all as the rain slowed down. The sun was shining down on the river side and there was a current that was heading straight toward the waterfall. As both teams headed up north, fighting through the grass, they stopped at a massive cave. This cave, unmarked, caught Archie's eye. On the ground, there was a lake that was shimmering from the sunlight.
"Well, what do you know… the cave is open! Come on, scamps!"
Suddenly, the Aqua Grunts grinned as they took out their Poké Balls. Throwing them up in the air, a school of Carvanha landed in the lake. Laughing, Team Magma turned around as they looked at each other. Turning around, Maxie withdrew his Poké Ball, "We were supposed to have a truce."
"Not on my watch!" said Archie, grabbing the Primal Weapons, "Shelly, Matt… stop him while I take the crown!"
As Archie dashed into the cave, Shelly and Matt went to take out their Poké Balls. As they went to throw, Courtney and Tabitha took out their Poké Balls, looking at their leader.
"Go chase Archie," said Courtney.
"Thank you!" shouted Maxie.
The admins went at it as Maxie dashed into the cave.
Archie was walking along the cave, grinning as he carried the weapons. He had the Omega Gauntlets on his back with the Aqua Trident and Emerald Saber in both hands. As he walked along the path, he continued on his way, heading deeper in the cave.
Meanwhile…
Jack sighed as the rangers arrived at the center of Slateport City. The six rangers were accompanied by the original red ranger as they headed toward a museum that was shining. As the doors suddenly opened, the rangers were astonished by the beautiful museum. It had an aqua background with various artifacts. Jack grinned as he turned to the team.
"Guess you have never been here," said Jack.
"The last time I was here…," said Rachel, "We were defeating Metallico before he tried to force Sally to open the gate. We didn't have a chance to explore."
Zander grinned as he turned to Jack and the others, "Well, this is quite fun. But, I have never seen the Slateport Museum… at least the interior."
Jack grinned as he led them into the elevator. As the doors closed behind, Jack took out his ID card, swiping it along the card reader next to elevator. As the elevator continued going down, underneath Slateport Museum. The rangers were in shock as the elevator doors opened. Opening, the rangers were surprised at what they saw. They were walking in a glass tube where they were surrounded by the water and currents of Route 134. Noticing a black and red car that holds ten seats, the rangers climbed in. Jack pressed a few buttons. The black and red car accelerated along. As the rangers were looking at the Tentacruel and the other water Pokémon that were playing along. In one minute, the car slowed down at the other end, seeing a huge land mass. The rangers got out of the car, walking toward the door. Opening the door, the rangers stood in surprise as they noticed a massive bay. They were amazed with what they saw, which was robotic giant like Pokémon being fixed by scientists. Jack headed toward the stairs, where the rangers stood in awe.
"Wow…," said Lamar, "Do you think they are zords?"
"Possibly," said Urara, "… I wonder."
"What?" asked Rachel.
"Nothing. Just observing," said Urara.
As they went through another door, the rangers were noticing a white office with a red table in the center with ten chairs. There was a screen on the front with the regions of the Pokémon World. On their right, there were bookshelves with glass casings. In the back, the rangers stood in awe as suits of previous Red Rangers stood in glass. Rachel walked over as she noticed her suit.
"How… why?" asked Rachel.
"Welcome to Ranger HQ… located north of Route 134 and the Sealed Chamber… and it's a secret place," said Jack, "I am Chief of Operations here…"
He turned around, snapping his fingers. As the door opened on the other side. The rangers stood there in surprise as some of the previous rangers walked into the main room.
"No way… some of them seem familiar… or at least, heard of them," said Lamar.
"Rangers, let me introduce you my team. I picked these guys due to their talents, experience and training," said Jack.
The first ranger stood in front of the group with a grin. He was dark-skinned with short black hair and brown eyes, wearing a blue baseball cap. He wore a navy shirt, black jeans, and tennis shoes. On his left wrist was a silver brace with a blue Armor Fossil installed in it.
"JT Glover, I am basically the I.T. here. I was originally the Blue Dino Thunder Ranger," he grinned.
The next person stood up, grinning as she was smiling from ear to ear. She was a woman with pale skin, that looks even paler because of her short white hair and she had sparkly blue eyes. Anyway, she has a small nose, and her upper lip has a scar on it shaped like a crescent moon. She was about 6 feet tall barefoot. She had a grey and white knee length dress and black boots. She also had a thick black belt around her waist.
"My name is Amy. I was an assistant to the team of Poké Rangers Bandstand. I also am a Chief Scientist. Originally, I came from the Verger Region."
The third person stood in front. He has brown hair, black eyes and wore a white dress shirt with black dress pants and brown shoes. On the front of his belt, he had a white bracelet on his left hand.
"My name is Max Steele. The White Mighty Morphin' Poké Ranger… I am the Chief Archaeologist."
The rangers nodded as Jack grinned as he looked at the team.
"This is my Senior Staff," said Jack.
Rachel grinned as she nodded her head, "We are the Mystic Force Rangers, nice to meet you."
Lamar turned around as he looked at Rachel. He shook his head as he turned around, "Forgive us, I don't think she understands that we were rangers and our magic no longer works."
Amy raised her finger, "We know. We were analyzing your moves and how you not also succeded in defeating Master Hades, but we saw how you tried to stop Team Magma and Aqua."
JT nodded as he noticed the broken Mystic Morpher that Urara was playing with. JT walked over as he noticed the morpher. Sighing, he turned to Urara as Amy grinned, looking at the morpher. Looking at her morpher, she nodded as she turned to JT. JT nodded as he turned around, "Urara, can we borrow this for further study?"
Urara raised her shoulders, "I don't see why not. We won't be using them anymore."
Zander turned to Jack, "Jack, no offense. I am glad you brought us here. But, we need to find Maxie and Archie so we can save our friends."
Jack sighed as he turned to the team. He raised an eyebrow as he looked at them. He sighed, "Well, if I brief you in on what you are getting yourself into… not also will you complete your final mission as Mystic Force Rangers… but our Ranger Mission to retrieve the Crown of Weather."
"We need the Crown of Weather in order to revive Rayquaza," said Max.
Seb eyes narrowed as he looked at Max, "A legendary Pokémon has never died… from what I heard. How?"
"Fourteen years ago, Mariah's goons broke in one day, destroyed his life source," said Jack, "And destroyed the Sky Pillar… hence why its now just a memorial. But, with my team… we did some research."
"Explain," said Lamar, now skeptical. Jack nodded, "Two years ago, I was out at the Sky Pillar…"
Sometime in January 2018…
Jack was sitting down at the Sky Pillar, looking at the Mighty Morphin' torch that stood, making him remember the good old days. Reading the article of the Heaven Force Rangers destroying monsters, he looked up at the sky. The clouds were glowing bright green with thunder rumbling. As a green lightning bolt struck, he dashed around. Looking up, he noticed a woman dressed in an emerald dress. She had long dark blond hair she often keeps up in a high ponytail with some hair falling against both of her front shoulders and violet-blue eyes. She had a golden staff as she knelt down, looking at him.
"Jack," she said.
Jack turned around, noticing her, "Fiona… or I should say Princess?"
Fiona shook her head, "It's all good."
She snapped her fingers as a red light appeared next to her. He had blackish hair with red tips. He had red eyes that were sparkling with anger. He also had a silver earring on his left ear. He wore a red hoodie jumper and denim shorts. His black and white sneakers dug into the ground.
"Greg…," said Fiona, grinning, "You're late."
"Sorry, you're majesty. I wanted to look my best for the leader of the Poké Rangers."
"Leader of the Poké Rangers?" asked Jack, "I am the leader of my team and my team only, which retired in 2007."
"We know," said Fiona, "We also need to tell you… Greg…"
Greg nodded as he stretched out his hand. Jack examined it. He noticed a green emerald that was sparkling.
"What is this?" asked Jack.
"This emerald is the essence of Rayquaza. He will be revived," said Fiona.
"Wait… how did you find this? I don't understand," said Jack.
"When you, Jenna, Amii, Derik and Danny went to retrieve the Overtech Crystals to save the world from pure Armageddon," said Greg, "There was a presence that was left in the Sky Pillar when the world was reversed back. Rayquaza left an emerald, which contains his life source."
"The only way to revive him is to find the Crown of Weather," said Fiona, "The Crown of Weather will ignite the emerald and evolve Rayquaza back to his form."
Jack grinned as he looked at it, "You know… my heart still stings that my only mentor was killed. You have given me hope. Thanks for your help, Greg, Princess…"
Greg grinned, "We are Red Rangers… we've got to look out for each other."
Jack turned around, "So, what must I do?"
"You must find the three Primal Weapons: The Omega Gauntlets, the Alpha Trident and the Delta Saber. Once you combine them, you will be able to locate the crown, which is north of Route 119. It is supposedly written in history books as a 'legend' or 'myth'. But, it's true," said Greg.
Jack nodded, "I will start my research."
Jack turned around, "When I began my journey, I started looking everywhere. Until I learned about three civilians from a different region bonding to the weapons and tied them to you. Because I knew there would be critical times, I had to get a team of top technicians and scientists."
JT nodded, "Danny Dragonfly asked me to join Jack as the Mighty Morphin' team did research one day. We learned that Rayquaza is indeed alive after making connections with the Heaven Force Rangers and the Rayquazian Kingdom."
"Which is where I come in," said Amy, grinning, "Fiona, the Yellow Bandstand Ranger, asked me to come help. She gave us some valid clues when she was doing research."
"As someone who studied historic relics, I knew this would be a great thing for me to do," said Max, "As a historian, I scanned the emerald. It's genuine… Rayquaza is currently re-energizing."
"But, we need the crown," said Jack, "And I ask you rangers for your help."
Urara turned around as she looked at them, "How can we do so without our powers?"
The door swung open to their left. The rangers turned around as they noticed another former ranger. The former ranger wore a blue and white hat, blue polo shirt with white pants and red shoes. He smiled as he had brown eyes, looking in the area with black hair tied into a ponytail. His Astro Morpher was attached on his left hand. He carried a golden briefcase. Walking toward the group, he placed it on the table. Opening the briefcase, the rangers were in awe as there were five morphers. There were silver with a black covering on top. On the bottom of each morpher, there was a golden spinner with a red and black logo with a Poké Ball. On the side of the morphers were little scopes attached.
"My name is Ray Hoover. I am the Blue Space Ranger. JT and I work together in the technology and I also work with Amy in the science department. I am glad I got here in time. Courtesy of PNET Technologies."
"What are these?" asked Seb.
"Relic Detectors," said Jack, "They give three modes: analysis, communication… and if we can get it working…"
The rangers looked at him as Jack grinned, "Become a new squadron of Poké Rangers."
"Wait…," said Rachel, looking at one, "How?"
Jack grinned, "I'm glad you asked. The Mighty Morphin' Rangers and myself channeled some of our Poké Coin energy from our morphers into our Morphin' Grid and then we were able to channel them to these morphers."
Urara sighed as she looked at them, "Well, there are only five."
Rachel nodded as she stepped aside. The rangers turned around as she looked at them. Rachel took a deep breath, "This is not my mission. I am a magician and a Magiland native. If you want to face Team Aqua and Magma, go ahead. But, I should not be. My mission to defeat the darkness is complete."
"No…," said Seb, "Technically, I am the sixth ranger… you should join the team and I will find a better way to help out."
"But, this is an Earth issue," Rachel stated.
"Right…," said Seb, walking over, "Last time I checked, Team Aqua was THIS close… to finding out about Magiland. Your world is in danger just as much as ours."
Urara sighed as she looked at them, "Rachel, are you sure?"
Rachel nodded as she turned to them, "Yeah."
Amy sighed as she looked at Urara. Urara turned around as Amy grinned, "Hey, Urara… we could use you in the Science Department here."
"But, what can I do? I was just in an internship with my degree. It was on hold to fight," said Urara, "I might as well go back to resume."
Amy grinned as she looked at her, "What if I told you… you can finish your hours of lab work here… and graduate on time… and your field of research will be confidential?"
Urara turned around as she looked at Amy. Urara grinned as Amy walked over. Amy nodded as she turned to them, "Based off what I can tell, you must have had a rough life. You fought to save the planet… protected yourself… and I know you want to do more… but we could use your skills and still do twice as much."
Urara looked at the other rangers. Lamar and Zander looked down as they turned to Grace. Grace sighed as she was looking at Urara. Grace walked toward her as she hugged her. Grace looked at her as she turned to her.
"Are you going to be okay without me?" asked Urara.
Grace grinned, "You will always be a ranger. When we get our magic back, definitely."
Urara grinned as she started to tear, "This is why you are amazing!"
Jack nodded as he turned to Urara, grinning. As she stepped next to Amy, Jack picked up the morphers and gave them to the five rangers. The rangers turned to each other as Jack walked in front of them, "So… the following morphers you received will give you new zords, new technology and new weapons," said Jack, turning to Grace.
"Grace Jackson. You are the Pink Relic Hunter Ranger," said Jack.
Grace stood there in shock, "Ew… Pink?"
Urara laughed, "I'll donate my pink t-shirts."
Grace shook her head as Rachel turned to Jack. Jack raised an eyebrow as he turned to her, "Rachel, as much as you are the leader of the Mystic Force Rangers… sometimes its good to swap colors sometimes. You are going to be the Yellow Relic Hunter Ranger."
"Yellow?" asked Rachel, "I could get used to it."
"I'll trade you," Grace stated, but Rachel shook her head. Immediately, Jack laughed as he walked over to the gentleman.
"Zander Jackson, you're her brother?" asked Jack.
Zander grinned as he looked at her, "Yep."
"So… interesting. Never had a brother-sister duo before," said Jack, grinning, "So… you are the Blue Relic Hunter Ranger."
"Nice!" shouted Zander.
Lamar turned around as he looked at him, "I loved blue."
"And Lamar, with your skills, it would be great to have you join them… you are the Black Relic Hunter Ranger," said Jack.
Lamar shrugged, looking at Jack. Jack grinned as he turned toward Seb. Seb looked at him as Jack placed his hand on his shoulder.
"You were led by Rachel this whole time and as an auxiliary ranger, it must have been hard. You also served as their mentor at times," said Jack, "As one red ranger to another, its glad to have you in red."
Seb looked at him in astonishment. He turned to Rachel. Rachel nodded her head as she looked at Jack, "Jack, as a former red ranger… I have no doubt with Sebastian. He is strong, courageous… and he is a team player. He does deserve to wear the red suit. I think my team can vouch for that."
The rangers, plus Urara, nodded in agreement. Seb nodded as he turned to Rachel, "I'll make you proud."
"You already have," said Rachel, "Just don't be reckless and take on what I did."
Seb chuckled as Jack grinned. He turned around as he looked at the team, "Alright, rangers. Right now, we do not have your morphers ready. But, I ask that you head up to Route 119. I have a feeling Team Magma and Team Aqua have already took your friends to find the crown."
The rangers nodded. Seb turned to the team, "Rangers, our adventure begins!"
"The zords are not ready for transport yet, either," said Ray, turning to them, "I do have an idea."
Meanwhile…
As the Pokémon battles intensified, Camille, Etna and Marianne were caught in the battle. Camille looked at Etna as she was trying to break free. Marianne screamed as she was trying to get out. Camille nodded as she reached for something. As she turned around, a Carvanha went over toward Camille. Camille screamed as Carvanha went to open its mouth, chomping on the chains. Breaking out, Camille stood up as she broke free.
"Ah, one of them broke free!" they shouted.
"Yep!" shouted Camille, taking out her Poké Ball, "Dragonite!"
As the Dragonite ignited out of her Poké Ball, Dragonite slashed the chains off oMarianne and Etna. Marianne and Etna took out their Poké Balls.
"Blastoise!"
"Pyrorar!"
As their Pokémon were released, the attacks were then focused on them. Etna stood forward as Pyroar charged, "Fire Blast!"
Pyroar released a stream of fire, knocking some of the Poochyena out of the way as well as some Carvanha, despite the type advantage. Marianne turned around as some of the Numel arrived, ready to strike.
"Pummel them with a Hydro Pump!" shouted Marianne.
As a blast of water emerged from Blastoise's cannons, the Numel were soused in water. As the three of them started dashing, Matt and Shelly stood next to Courtney and Tabitha. Their Sharpedo and Camerupt stared them down.
"Dragonite, Hyper Beam!"
As Dragonite charged through, a golden blast aimed straight at the four of them, causing an explosion. The four Pokémon landed on the ground as the three girls used roundhouse kicks and tornado kicks to knock the admin team away. The rangers dashed toward the cave. As they swung around the cave, they got deeper in the cave, noticing a light shining down above them. Maxie and Archie were fighting over the crown that stood there.
"The Crown!" whispered Etna.
"We need to get it…," said Marianne, turning to Blastoise.
"We need our weapons first," said Camille.
As the three of them stepped forward, watching the battle. The three of them began to glow in a red, blue and green aura. Picking up their weapons, Archie turned around as he looked at them. He noticed that Camille was heading toward the crown, trying to grab it before the other two villains went for it.
"OH NO!" shouted Archie.
No sooner as Camille went to grab it, Archie pushed her back as he took the crown. The crown was golden with a ruby, sapphire, opal, quartz and onyx jewels. As Archie touched it, a golden aura surrounded him. Looking at him, Maxie went to grab the crown. The two started fighting over the crown.
"We got to stop them," said Marianne, "Blastoise!"
Before Blastoise could move, a golden aura froze Blastoise in place. As the other Pokémon tried to break free, the earth started to shake. The ladies landed on the ground as their Primal Weapons were given to them. A golden light struck out as they were hit. Archie and Max grabbed the crown as red bolts surrounded them. Screaming, the golden beam shot out through tunnel, heading outside the cave. Matt, Shelly, Tabitha and Courtney were blinded by the light as well as the other grunts.
Meanwhile…
The rangers were walking toward another hall. As they swung around, they noticed a room with a large platform with seven circular platforms on top. The back of the platform had red and blue designs. Seb turned around as he noticed a silver console. Ray grinned as he looked at them, "I managed to copy the designs from the Kyogre Megaship into here. The Transporter Room… as we call it."
"Kyogre Megaship?" asked Lamar, "Is it a battleship?"
"Starship… and has a Megazord mode," said Ray, grinning.
Zander laughed as he looked at Lamar, "Now, I remember. Yeah, that Megazord was awesome. But, really you had to put in something from like… I don't know, Star Trek?"
"Can we get to business?" Rachel and Seb asked in unison. The two looked at each other and Rachel nodded as she stepped on a platform. The other rangers followed suit. Ray walked over as Urara turned to him, seeing a green grid on the screen. Ray scanned over the location of where they were, seeing the cluster of people. Ray pressed a few buttons as white lights surrounded the bottoms of their feet. Zander was startled as he looked at Ray.
"You will be fine," said Ray, pulling the lever. Immediately, a synthesizing sound emerged around the teleporter as the rangers began to shine in a golden aura, disappearing into the teleporter.
"Where did they go?" asked Urara.
"Their molecules are currently scrambled and they will materialize right in front of the location… as you can see," said Ray.
Outside the clearing, five beams of light arrived as the team teleported out of the cave. The golden beams were shooting out as the team ducked. Lamar looked up as five jewels shot out of the cave. Looking down, the beam diminished as the team looked at each other.
"Are we okay?" asked Seb.
"Yeah," said Lamar.
He then looked up as he noticed something different about the grunts. The Aqua Grunts were no longer humanoid. They had blue and black designs on their bodies with blue and silver sabers. They also had Croconaw like heads with green eyes. The Magma Grunts were also no longer in human form. They were red and white designs on their bodies with Charmeleon like heads.
"What the hell happened?" asked Seb.
As the team dashed, four people stood in front of Seb. Two from Team Aqua and two from Team Magma. The two from Team Aqua started laughing as they looked at each other.
"We feel strong now!" Matt shouted. Matt was no longer humanoid. Instead, his whole body was made of black quartz that were hard as diamonds with blue sapphire jeans. He donned black and gold boots and a golden net that shocks. His face was a Feraligatr with red eyes. Shelly, next to him, wore a blue body suit with silver and gold beads. She had golden gloves with black fingernails. She also carried a golden spear on her back. Her hair was black and curly with a Tentacruel on her face.
"Matt and Shelly…," said Rachel. She stood in shock, turning to the Magma Admins. They looked more advanced than their human selves. Tabitha was wearing red and black armor with golden boots that had silver rims. He had ruby chest armor and stainless-steel claws with a golden crossbow. His face was deformed, looking like a Charizard's head. Courtney was wearing a ruby body suit with black and gold boots with silver and gold gloves. She had a silver and gold blaster with two nozzles. She had a helmet that was shaped like a Houndoom.
"Tabitha… Courtney," said Grace, "My Arceus!"
"This is amazing!" shouted Tabitha.
Suddenly, the sounds of screams occurred in the cave. Camille, Etna, and Marianne landed on the ground with their weapons. The rangers ran over to assist as their Pokémon were thrown out. Camille's Dragonite groaned as the Pokémon pointed to the cave entrance. The rangers looked at the mouth of the cave. Two people walked through the mouth of the cave. The rangers stood in shock as they noticed the Crown of Weather within their grasp.
First, Maxie was shown in his new form. Maxie wore red and black armor with blue designs on it. He had silver and golden boots. He also wore a ruby cape. Attached to his ruby belt was a golden saber. His face was shaped like a Camerupt. Next, Archie was dressed differently. He had a black/sapphire robe with sapphire armor underneath. He had dark obsidian gloves with black and gold boots. He was armed with a golden like trident. Finally, his face was shaped like a Sharpedo.
"Maxie… Archie," said Seb, "Where's the Crown of Weather?"
Archie grinned as he looked at him, "The crown?"
Maxie laughed as he raised the crown, "It's property of Team Magma now!"
"What?" asked the rangers.
"What?" asked Archie, turning around.
"Simple…," said Maxie, "If it wasn't for me, we wouldn't have gotten these new forms."
Camille coughed as she got up from the ground, "That's not what happened. And it looks incomplete now."
Maxie struck her saber as it was pointed at Camille. The rangers turned to Camille as she walked over, "The Crown of Weather had five jewels attached to it. I touched the crown and it started to activate. Then, these guys grabbed the crown, causing a massive energy surge. It knocked everybody out. Because of this, the jewels are gone. Everyone changed form… except us."
"Why not us?" asked Marianne.
"Because we are still bonded with the weapons," said Etna, raising the Omega Gauntlets.
"And WE are going to take them back!" said Maxie.
While that was going on, someone dashed over, grabbing the crown from Maxie's hand. Maxie turned around as he looked at his hand, looking up in horror, he turned around as Urara arrived with the crown in hand. She grabbed the Crown of Weather as she jumped toward the team.
"Urara!" shouted the rangers.
Urara grinned as she turned around, "Ray had some sweet gadgets."
"GET THEM!" shouted Archie and Maxie.
Urara laughed as she took out a red and white blaster, "Blade Blaster, fire!"
Pulling the trigger, red beams pierced the ground, causing an explosion around them. As the smoke continued, Seb took out his Relic Detector, "Ray… 10 to teleport!"
As the smoke cleared, Matt went through the smoke. He stood there astonished. Not a single person was in sight.
"They took the weapons and the crown!" he shouted.
"Damn!" shouted Maxie, "Team Magma, retreat!"
The Magma Grunts, Courtney and Tabitha began their descent. As Archie waited to see them, the grunts began to speak in anger and emotion as they were following. Once every Magma grunt was gone, Archie nodded as he turned to Shelly and Matt.
"What about us?" asked Matt.
"Yeah?" asked Shelly.
Archie grinned as he looked at them, "You see… Maxie didn't do his research…"
"What do you mean?" asked Matt.
Archie laughed, "The five jewels escaped the crown… we need to not also get the crown back… but the jewels now. And I have a feeling I know where they may be going."
Camille, Etna and Marianne were amazed as they arrived at Ranger HQ. The rangers took a deep breath as Jack stood there in surprise. Max sighed as he looked at the relic, not pleased with what was going on.
"So…," said Camille, "This is different than the mansion."
"True," said Marianne, "Nice to meet everybody."
"This is amazing," Etna said, grinning. Jack shook hands with the ladies as they all sat down. Seb nodded as he folded his hands on the table, "It does beat the mansion."
"Rangers…" Max said, looking at them, "Do you have any idea what this has caused?"
Camille turned around, "I am sure after seeing beastly forms, I am sure it turned for the worst."
Jack raised an eyebrow, "Wait… Team Magma and Aqua…"
"They look like actual villains that you and I would fight," said Rachel, turning to the screen. Amy pressed a button as they saw the villains on the screen. Pausing the button, Amy pressed a few buttons, seeing a huge scanning screen. As Archie and Maxie's body was scanned, they noticed some changes.
"So…," said Urara, "It looks like their humanoid systems are still intact."
"Yeah…, but look at the cell structure," said Amy, zooming in on the hands of both villains, "The cells have been infected, changing their structure of the DNA."
"It has to do something with the Crown of Weather," said Jack, tapping on the table. Max nodded as he turned to them, "Well… here's the issue. The jewels are gone."
Marianne nodded as she turned to Max, "Yeah, that's true. When Archie and Maxie were fighting over the crown, the crown released the jewels on the crown."
"… They can be anywhere," said Jack, sighing, "And the Crown of Weather is only supposed to be touched by those who were worthy… meaning the ones who bonded with the Primal Weapons."
The rangers darted their eyes at Etna, Marianne and Camille. Etna looked at them as they looked at her friends, "Look, guys. We didn't know."
"We know," said Max, sighing. He stood up as he looked at the rangers. He then turned to them, "Look… we now need to find the jewels. However… I think its best that Etna, Camille and Marianne stay here for now."
"But…," said Marianne, "We need to fight them!"
"True," said Amy, sighing, "But, I believe its best if you stay before things get crazy. I highly doubt Team Aqua and Team Magma will come here… but I would rather make sure you are safe. Once we can get them out of our hair, we can send you back to Kalos."
"Guys," said Etna, "I don't think it's a good idea."
"She's right, you know. Even though we need to help out here, we do have Yvestros and Team Flare," said Camille, sighing as she turned to Seb. Marianne didn't say a word, but Camille agreed. The Knights of Order needed to be at full strength. Before Seb could say anything, Camille's Delta Saber began to glow in an emerald light. As the rangers turned around, a golden cloth materialized. Seb turned to Max as Max looked at the cloth. The cloth opened up, noticing an animal heart but it had alpha designs and Kyogre symbols. Attached to it, there was a map. Max raised an eyebrow.
"Wow… of course! The Heart of Kyogre!" shouted Max.
"The Heart of Kyogre?" asked Seb and Camille.
"Yes!" said Max, turning around, walking back toward the briefing room, "There's a legend about this artifact. This artifact is one of the primal components. You see, there are Legendary Artifacts that enhance powers or life sources… some come from Legendary Pokémon. If the article is used incorrectly, it could bring devastation to the planet."
"Legendary Artifacts?" asked Lamar.
"Yes…," said Max, "This cloth has to lead us to the first jewel. But, I am going to need your help. The Heart of Kyogre is located on the bottom floor of the Seafloor Cavern."
The rangers turned to the map as they noticed where Max was pointing. Urara looked up as she turned to Max, "How?"
Jack nodded as he turned around, "We can use the zords… if need be."
"The only zord that is ready to go is the Swampert Relic Zord," said Amy, turning to the others. Zander nodded as he walked over toward the group. He nodded as he stepped forward, "I'll take the plunge."
Rachel and Lamar looked at him as he turned to them. Rachel crossed her arms, "I am going with you."
"Same," Lamar said instantly.
"Good," said Jack, turning to the group. Jack grinned as he headed toward the communication system, pressing the red button on the panel, "JT… this is Jack."
"Yeah?" asked JT.
"I need the Swampert Zord ready to go. Do you think you can get it ready?" he asked.
"Yes," said JT, "Not a problem. I will have the other zords done shortly. Have Zander come down."
Zander nodded as he headed with Jack. Rachel and Lamar nodded as they followed him to the elevator. As the three rangers stood together, the doors opened as they entered the elevator. Turning around, the doors closed in front of them, heading toward the Zord Bay. As the door opened, Zander walked outside, passing scientists as they headed to a silver office. JT stood in his office as he was working on the computer. He turned around as he looked at Zander. JT stood up as he took out his keys. There was a black closet next to him. Opening the key and pressing a few buttons, the door opened, releasing five silver briefcases. Grabbing the middle one, he headed toward Zander. Zander looked at this as he saw it. It was a silver briefcase with a black and red wheel that was used as a handle. There were two silver slots on the same side. Camille, Etna and Marianne were also amazed with the designs of their headquarters as they arrive in JT's office, watching Zander receive one of the briefcases.
"This is your Relic Driver… place it in your cockpit and your zord will be up and running," said JT.
"We get suitcases to pilot zords?" asked Lamar.
Zander nodded, "Yeah, for once we don't transform into Pokémon. I am going to have some fun with this, but I have never driven a zord before."
Grace giggled, "It's like when you first learned to drive-."
"Don't bring it up," said Zander, eyeing Grace.
The three rangers walked along the silver passageway, noticing four other zords on the left. One was a Blaziken, getting a finishing touch. Next to the Blaziken was a Houdoom, which was getting its armor installed. To the far right, there was a Manectric Zord finishing repair with a Gallade Zord being built. As they stopped at the Swampert Zord, they noticed its size. Walking up the platform, they climbed up the ladder, opening the top part of the zord. Zander, Rachel and Lamar climbed into the cockpit. The cockpit was silver with a black screen behind him. There was a seat that appeared in the center as the door closed.
"So, how does this work?" asked Zander.
He placed the Relic Driver on top. Placing on top, the wheel popped up and the scanners turned on. As the lights turned on, the main lights surrounded the cockpit with a black screen illuminating blue. The three rangers stood as Zander stood there, freaking out.
"Well," said Zander, "That was interesting."
As he turned around, Jack's face was shown on the screen in front, "Zander, place the Detector Morpher in the slot to your right."
Zander nodded as he placed the morpher on the right side. Immediately, the device began to activate. The ladders and pipes connecting the zord began to detach and shrink as the Swampert Zord's exterior lights turned on.
"Nice…," said Lamar, "I can't wait to see what our zords do."
"Same," said Rachel.
Zander sat down as he placed his hand on his morpher, "Relic Hunter Zord 3: Swampert… Go!"
Pressing the number 3 on the morpher, he then spun the golden Poké Ball on the morpher. The rangers held on as the Swampert Zord started leaving the zord bay, heading toward the exit to the bay.
An hour later…
The Swampert Zord was swimming through Route 128 as they were following the map. Lamar and Rachel were breathing heavily as they were surprised by Zander's driving skills. Lamar turned around as Zander chuckled, looking at the two of them.
"I regret it… I wish I was a Viziron again," said Zander.
"You and me both," said Lamar, "You crashed into too many boulders."
Rachel sighed, "I miss being a Moltres… at least flying was easier when you don't have a steering wheel."
As the rangers were getting closer, a green arrow was pointing on the GPS. Immediately, the rangers saw a dark alley that filled the waterways of Route 128. Immediately, the Swampert Zord slowed down.
"What's up?" asked Lamar.
"We're supposedly here," said Zander, "But, I don't see anything."
He went to press the button, contacting the headquarters, "Headquarters, we are at the location, but where is the Seafloor Cavern from here?"
Immediately, Seb's face popped into the screen, "You know you need to dive right?"
Zander nodded as he pressed a few buttons. The three rangers held on for dear life as the Swampert Zord dove into the water. As they were floating underwater, Seb and Grace were on the other line with Urara standing with them.
"How is it?" asked Urara.
"Well… this is definitely not like what we are used to," Rachel said.
"Yeah," said Lamar, "Look at all of this."
Zander continued driving as they noticed the cave ahead. As they entered the mouth of the cave, the Swampert Zord dove through as they arrived at the mouth of the cave. Turning on the lights, the white lights showed the cave passage. As they floated toward a wall, Zander pressed a few buttons, noticing a few ripples in the surface. Pressing the button, the Swampert Zord floated toward the surface. Rising from the water, the Swampert Zord stood in the entrance.
"So…," said Zander, "We've arrived."
Rachel and Lamar nodded as they walked toward the ladder. Zander pressed the red button as the hatch opened. Lamar and Rachel climbed up from the exit, sliding down the zord and on the surface. Lamar and Rachel took out flashlights, walking into another section of the cave.
Arriving at the next section of the cave, Rachel and Lamar were looking at the dark cave paintings and the stairs. As the two continued searching through the cave, a bunch of wild Zubat flew through the cave, smacking into the two rangers. As Rachel tripped, Lamar turned around as he went to catch her. As they fell to the ground, the rocks crumbled as they yelled flying through the sedimentary bedrock. As Rachel broke free, Lamar grabbed her side as he took out a silver and golden scope that had a handheld device.
"Scope Shot, engage!"
Pulling the trigger, a silver dart popped out with a string attached, smacking into the bedrock surface, holding the two. Rachel looked down, noticing the silver spikes that were on the ground.
"That was close…," she said, looking up.
Lamar nodded as he lowered the rope. As he swung down, holding her. The two landed on the surface, just avoiding the spikes. Walking around the Seafloor Cavern base, the two continued heading toward a dark chasm. Climbing through another passage, Lamar walked around as he touched a string that was on his leg, breaking it, Rachel turned around notice a turret popping out. Rachel threw Lamar down as five poisonous darts flew out, hitting the opposite wall. Lamar looked up as he noticed the turret.
"This place is booby trapped," said Lamar.
"What are you talking about?" asked Rachel, panting.
"We need to watch some of those adventure movies. You see many years ago, civilizations would arm traps to prevent intruders from getting precious artifacts," said Lamar, guiding her as they continued on their way.
Heading into another corridor, the two of them noticed a huge room. This huge room was bright blue with white and grey structures. There was a grey structure that had golden puzzle pieces. Rachel and Lamar looked at each other as Rachel used her Relic Detector. A blue light scanned the puzzle pieces, noticing the Hazard Level.
"Well…it has a Hazard Level of 10," she said, "Do you think?"
"This puzzle will lead us to the artifact?" asked Lamar, "Probably."
Rachel opened up her Relic Detector, "Zander, we may have a clue. Stand by to pick us up."
"Understood. I'll contact Seb and the others," said Zander on the intercom.
For the past hour, Rachel and Lamar worked on the golden puzzle. As Lamar worked on the corners, Rachel was placing the pieces that were connecting. As they managed to get the puzzle connected, it shaped into an organ of a heart. There was one more piece left, which Lamar had. As Lamar placed the final piece in the puzzle, the puzzle began to shine brightly. Next, the room began to shake. The rangers freaked out as they felt the room rise. As the cavern began to rock, the top of the Seafloor Cavern began to rise as the top of the cave was exposed, connecting to an island.
"No way," said Rachel, looking outside, noticing windows were created. There were palm trees, sand and everything that surrounded the top of the cave and below.
"This cave is actually on an island," said Lamar, turning to the puzzle. He then turned around, noticing an orange arrow. As he reached for his Relic Detector, a blue aura surrounded the puzzle. A compass popped open on his screen as he noticed the director.
"I got the direction. The Heart of Kyogre must be somewhere on this island," said Lamar.
Rachel turned around as she then noticed pebbles on her face. Looking up, an icicle shaped boulder, even though the material was made from limestone and pyrite, started to creak with a few boulders about to collapse. Grabbing Lamar, the two rangers jumped out of the cave as the boulders crushed into the room, exploding the top of the cave.
The Swampert Zord continued floating toward the island. Landing on the island, Zander withdrew his morpher.
"Rachel… Zander, come in!" shouted Zander.
There was no response from what he heard. Hanging up, he started dashing toward the island, "Seb, come in!"
"Yeah," Seb asked.
"Where are you?" asked Zander, "Lamar and Rachel are missing somewhere on an island on top of the Seafloor Cavern!"
"I am on my way," said Seb, over the intercom, "The Blaziken Zord and the Gallade Zord are just finishing their final tests."
Zander nodded as he continued to dash toward the island. Running on the beach, he froze. He quickly threw himself to a bed of rocks as he turned, noticing a few Sharpedo like submarines. He looked up as he noticed Archie, Shelly and Matt with a few of the Aqua Grunts in their monstrous forms.
"Argh, scamps… this is perfect… I knew we could find the Heart of Kyogre on this island. I am sure the Legendary Artifacts will get us the jewels… and then, we kill the rangers from the crown," said Archie, laughing.
"Great…," said Zander, looking up to watch, "That's what we need… someone else after it."
Quickly, Zander dashed deeper into the island. He then turned around as he activated his morpher, "Lamar… come in!"
Hearing rustling in the bushes, Zander turned around as he noticed beeping noises. Turning around, Zander noticed Lamar as he went to say something. Rachel turned around as she looked at Zander. The three of them met together as they looked at each other.
"So… what did you find?" asked Zander, "I thought you guys were dead for a second…"
"Well," said Lamar, "We thought you were crushed when the Seafloor Cavern rose up to the island."
"Anyway, the puzzle was no more than a clue," said Rachel.
"A clue?" asked Lamar.
"A clue?"
The rangers turned around as they were about to put their hands up. Seb and Grace arrived as they walked toward the group. Sebastian walked over as Lamar had his Relic Detector, "Apparently, when we analyzed the puzzle that we solved, it gave a direction. We need to move west…"
"Alright," said Seb, "The Relic Hunter Zords are here and they are ready for us when we leave."
"Great… we may need them for a fast escape. Archie's here," said Zander.
The rangers turned to Zander. Zander raised an eyebrow as he looked at them, "And he's also looking for the Heart of Kyogre. He is looking for the jewels as well to finish his mission and has targeted us. He won't quit until he gets the crown."
"I am not surprised," said Seb, turning to the others.
"I mean, we did anger him," Rachel said, "Look, I think we just need to get the Heart of Kyogre before he gets it."
"Yeah…," said Seb, "Let's go!"
As the five rangers continued toward the trees, the five began to dash as they got on flat land. The team started running on the trail, dashing west. As the sun was shining toward them, they were noticing the sun facing them as they continued dashing toward the mouth of the cave. As they arrived at the mountain, Shelly and Matt were also there. Archie turned around as he laughed, looking at them.
"You! So… you are after the heart," said Archie, "I for one am not going to let you stop us… Aqua Grunts, kill the scamps!"
"I think it's time we showed them our arsenal," said Seb.
"How about morphing?" asked Rachel.
"We can't yet. They have to do one final test," Grace said, "Seb?"
Seb nodded as he took out his Relic Detector. Pressing 1 and enter, he used his arm as a platform as he dragged it across. Immediately, five blasters arrived in their ranger color in a flash of white light. They were silver blasters with black and red stripes that had pipes connected from the handle to the blaster. There were golden nozzles attached.
"What?" asked Archie.
"Take them!" said Seb.
The rangers nodded as they grabbed their weapons. Seb noticed a huge cluster of Aqua Grunts with their harpoons, ready to strike.
"Relic Blasters, fire!" shouted Seb.
Immediately, red beams shot out of their blasters, piercing bursts of burn holes on the grunts. The Aqua Grunts screamed as they fell to the ground. Archie stood there in shock as Seb aimed his weapon at him, "Archie, we have been waiting for this…"
"Matt and Shelly… do something!" said Archie.
"Lamar, Rachel, get to the cave and find the heart. We'll keep cover," said Seb.
"Got it," shouted Rachel.
Archie turned around as he looked at them, "No!"
Grace turned around as she kicked a few of the Aqua Grunts. As she used a spinning hook kick and then a back kick, a few of them fell to the ground. Grace stretched out her Relic Blaster, pulling the trigger. A golden blast shot a whole bunch of the Aqua Grunts. Turning around, Shelly arrived as she grabbed her spear, "You are going to pay for this!"
As she went to strike with her spear, Grace was hit as she landed on the ground. Pressing the silver button, the silver blaster flipped 90 degrees. A red saber popped out of the nozzle as she blocked the attack. Shelly screamed as she went to strike. Grace dodged the attack as the spear broke a boulder in half.
"Come back here!" she shouted.
As she went to strike, Grace blocked with her saber. Breaking free, she slashed Shelly multiple times. Shelly screamed as she landed on the ground. Getting up, she went to continue her onslaught.
Zander completed a shoulder roll, blasting a few of the Aqua Grunts. Turning around, Matt pushed him to the ground. Turning around, Matt went to punch him in the face, only to get blasted. Zander screamed as he was hit hard by the attack. Zander looked up as he flipped forward with his weapon up. As Matt and Shelly went toward Archie, the three of them went to attack. Seb looked up, noticing the boulders. Pulling the trigger, four golden beams struck as the boulders came down, causing a barrier to surround them. As the Aqua Grunts showed up, Seb, Grace and Zander took out their Relic Blasters, shooting all of them down.
"Come on," said Seb, "By the time we get out, they will still try to get out."
The three rangers dashed into the mouth of the cave. As the rangers swung around the corner, they noticed Rachel and Lamar, who stood there in awe as they saw what was going on. There was a land bridge that stood between them and the artifact. Underneath the bridge, there was nothing but magma that surrounded it.
"So…," said Lamar, "We were wondering how to do this… because it looked like a trap."
"Trapped? Too many relic movies," said Zander, laughing.
"I hate to tell you, but we almost died in the Seafloor Cavern," said Rachel, "This could be booby trapped."
"Let's stay together," said Seb.
The five began their trek across the land bridge. As they started crossing, they felt a huge rumble. Grace turned around as they continued moving, noticing the land bridge that they were once using was disintegrating as they walked. Grace turned around as she looked at Seb.
"So… Seb, I suggest we run," said Grace.
Lamar turned around, "Yeah, Seb!"
Seb turned around. His eyes enlarged as the land bridge started to disintegrate. The five rangers started dashing across as the land bridge fell into the magma. As they were getting closer, they felt the land bridge about to go underneath them. Quickly, Seb and the others jumped. Flipping forward, the five rangers landed on the ground. Immediately, Seb was looking at the heart. The casing was sapphire with red and blue lines that appeared on the artifact. It also had a shape of a Pokémon heart. Grace quickly scanned the artifact with her Relic Detector.
"Hazard Level: 265… and its in red…," she said.
"This is a Legendary Artifact," said Zander, touching it. Upon touching it, duplicates of the artifact filled the whole cavern. As they floated across, Zander looked up as he noticed this.
"This is the real one," said Grace, picking it up, "But, why?"
Lamar turned around as he examined the one closest to him. As he went touch, a golden aura surrounded the artifact. Ducking, the heart exploded. The rangers turned around, noticing the explosion. They headed toward Lamar, who carefully got up.
"So…," said Seb, "It's basically a mine field."
"What do we do?" asked Lamar.
Seb sighed as he looked at the Relic Blaster, "Well…"
"At this range, we could explode them and probably send us to our doom," said Rachel.
Seb nodded as he looked at the heart, "I do have a theory."
Without words, he grabbed the Heart of Kyogre. As Seb threw the Heart of the Kyogre, the rangers watched as the artifact was bombarding the other fakes. The fakes collided with each other, creating mini explosions. As the rangers turned around, they noticed that the Heart of Kyogre arrived on the other side. Seb and the others took out their Scope Shots, piercing the wall on the other side. Gulping, the rangers jumped up, going from one side to the other. As the rangers arrived on the other side, the rangers grabbed the Heart of Kyogre. Leaving the cave, they arrived, noticing Archie has already popped out.
"The Heart!" he shouted.
"Yep!" said Archie, "So long, scamps!"
Immediately, the five rangers dashed away from the rubble. Shelly and Matt managed to get out. Archie nodded as he snapped his fingers. The two followed him as they headed down the hill.
In the woods, the five rangers dashed down the hill, jumping over brooks and streams as they headed toward the lake. Dashing toward the lake, the Aqua Grunts arrived in front of them. Laughing, they aimed their weapons at the crew. As an explosion surrounded them, the Heart of Kyogre flew across. Before Seb could react, Archie grabbed it.
"You are going to die at my hands!" he shouted.
The rangers stood in a circle as they were surrounded by grunts. Before they could do anything, a golden aura surrounded them as their weapons disappeared. Immediately, Seb got a call from his Relic Detector.
"Sebastian, the Morphing Grid is ready to go!"
"We're going to need it," said Seb.
The five rangers stood in a line. Archie stood there, laughing away, "What are you puny humans going to do now?"
"Archie… Matt… and Shelly. It's time we take things to the next level," said Seb.
