A/N: Here is Chapter 7… I hope you enjoy!

After a few days of hanging out with Captain Edward, the rangers returned to headquarters. The doors opened as the rangers arrived, backpacks and all. Yawning from their trip, the rangers sat down around the table as Urara stopped by. Urara looked at them as the group was grinning from ear to ear. She shook her head.

"What?" asked Grace.

"You could've invited me!" said Urara.

"Well… we didn't know how you…," said Grace.

Urara stared her in the eyes as Grace grinned, "You probably would have taken Gyarados Zord out."

"Or the Swampert Zord… because it needed maintenance updates," she said, looking at Zander. Zander turned around as he looked at her, "Not my Swampert."

As he turned to sit down, Max and Jack arrived as they met the crew. Seb stood up, giving the Crest of Cresselia to Jack. Jack grinned as he placed the artifact along with the others. Immediately, the artifacts began to glow a little.

"What's going on?" asked Seb.

Max turned around as he took out his black device, scanning the artifacts, "They are radiating jewel energy. I wonder if we are getting close."

"Good!" said Grace, "The more artifacts the merrier."

Zander sighed as he turned to the group, "Well, I am sure once we head to Fortree City, we will find another one."

"I think you may when you head back to Route 119," Max said, turning around. The other rangers were puzzled as they looked at him. Max grinned as he looked at the team, "While you were gone, we have been noticing disappearances."

"Disappearances?" asked Rachel.

"Yeah," said Max, "Ever heard of The Valley of Disease?"

"The Valley of Disease? That's a little morbid," said Rachel.

Max sighed as he turned to Rachel. He sat down with the rest of the group as he continued to speak. He sighed as he looked at the team. Max grinned as he pressed the button, showing Hoenn as it were 1,000 years ago in paintings.

"This fog comes once every 1,000 years," said Max, "Legend goes of a great rebellion that tried to overthrow the government of Hoenn. The king at the time was trying to fight off scarlet fever… a very dangerous disease. Unfortunately, he died of the disease and the government split. Usually, that fog lasts about a week and most travelers are asked to stay off the route. In this case, an artifact has been activated, causing mysterious disappearances."

"Disappearances?" asked Seb.

"Yeah, that's why I am glad you're back," said Urara, "While you were off on your little party, there have been missing Pokémon and trainers on the route."

Seb sighed as he turned to the group. However, he grinned as he looked at the team. He yawned as he looked at the team, "Well, gang. I guess we need to go exploring."

Lamar looked at him as he walked over toward the red ranger, "Have you lost your mind?"

"What?" asked Seb.

"I am not going in any fog where there's disease," said Lamar, "We don't even have magic anymore, so how are we going to do this?"

Seb stood up as he looked at him. The black ranger looked at Seb as he placed his hand on his shoulder. Lamar looked at Seb as he took a deep breath, "You haven't used magic in a while. This is the perfect opportunity."

Lamar took a huge deep breath as he turned to Seb reluctantly, "Fine. Let's go!"

Urara grinned as she turned to them, "And this time…"

The rangers looked at her as she grabbed her backpack, "You're not leaving me behind."

Chapter 7: The Fog of Disease

The sun broke through the clouds of Route 119 as the team continued its way up toward Fortree City, searching for the fog that was explained at headquarters. A few Tropius were hanging out, observing the sunlight and then looking at the trainers as they continued walking on the route. Route 119 was known for basically raining almost every other day. The downpours would continue so much that lightning would strike the ground. The vegetation and the rivers never seen a drought. The tall redwood trees of Hoenn stood tall and bright as the crew continued walking along the bridge. The rangers stopped walking on the bridge, noticing the river that was going southbound toward South Hoenn. Seb grabbed his backpack as he turned to the group. The last time they were here, they found the crown. However, this time, it was for something different.

"So…," said Seb, "Our goal is to investigate. But, I don't see anything."

"Not to change the subject, but at this point, we'll make it to Fortree City before it rains," said Lamar, following him. Seb shook his head, not expecting for Lamar to be random, but he was trying to change the conservation.

Zander sighed as he looked at the clouds. The clouds were getting thicker as they continued walking. Grace and Urara were walking side by side, bringing Rachel to be the last person. As she continued walking with the group, she noticed that her sight was fuzzy with a rain drop hitting her in the face. She looked around, trying to figure out what was going on. As the clouds gathered around, she began to walk around the route. However, it was so thick. She stopped. She tried to find a way to figure out where she was in relation to where the others were. As she took out her morpher, she went to speak.

"Seb…. Lamar… Zander… Grace…. Urara, anybody?"

As she heard static on the other line. She looked up as she turned around. She saw two bright white lights surrounding her. She stood, with her morpher at the ready.

"Relic Hunters, Start Up!"

Sliding her morpher across, there was no effects. Rachel placed her morpher away as she looked at the creature. The creature released a steel like claw, grabbing Rachel around the neck. She was then sucked deeper into the fog, screaming for dear life…

Meanwhile…

As the group walked up the stairs, the girls began to have a conversation. Grace sighed as she was looking at Urara.

"So… spill the beans, how are you and Seb doing?" Urara asked.

"Well… I am sure with Seb being leader, it has brought him a little on edge," said Grace, "But, with Rachel being there to help… it's been working."

"That's good," said Urara, grinning, "Maybe he will go back to himself once we get the jewels."

Grace laughed as she looked at Urara, "I love a man in red."

"And I am sure he looks hot chicks in yellow or pink," Urara said. Grace laughed as she looked at Lamar, who was looking behind him.

"You know I love ladies in red… like Rachel," said Lamar, turning around to see her. He turned straight forward. He then stopped walking as Grace bumped into him. Grace looked at Lamar as Lamar turned around.

"What was that for?" asked Grace, turning around to see Rachel absent. Lamar turned around, "You were saying?"

Zander turned around as he looked at the group. Seb turned around after Zander as he reached for his Relic Detector, "Rachel… come in… Rachel!"

"But…," said Grace, "How?"

Lamar turned around as he looked at Seb, "The Fog?"

"There was something…," said Zander, "It was a little foggy."

Grace turned around as she looked at them, "What if the Fog of Disease took Rachel?"

Seb turned around as he looked at Grace and then the other rangers, "Well, freaking out isn't going to solve the issue. Rangers, split up… let's search for Rachel."

The rangers nodded as they split up. Seb, Lamar and Zander headed in one direction. Grace and Urara searched in another direction. Hopping down the rocks, the ladies went toward the west. Urara had a scanner open as Grace took out her Relic Detector, searching for Rachel.

"Rachel?" Grace shouted.

No response. Urara turned around as she looked at Grace. Grace turned around as she went to look at the trees. Standing up on a rock formation, Grace pulled out a pair of binoculars, looking around as she was turning to see anything in the distance. She turned around as she hopped down from the rock formation. She waltzed over as she walked toward Urara, shaking her head as she stepped down.

"I am guessing nothing?" asked Grace.

"Nope," said Urara, "It's like she disappeared without a trace."

Urara turned around as she looked at Grace. Grace sighed as she turned to Urara, "You wouldn't have any flying-type Pokémon with you… do you?"

Urara shook her head, "They are back at the headquarters. At least the one we caught while we were traveling."

Grace sighed as she turned to the woods, "Great… I wish I had a Tropius."

As she sat down on the formation, a raindrop hit her in the face. Looking up, she noticed the clouds gathering.

"Hey… is it just me or is there rain?" asked Grace.

Urara turned around as she looked at Grace. Grace's body began to disappear into thin air. Urara dashed over as she tried to pull Grace out, only to be absorbed. The fog surrounded them as they screamed, disappearing from their world. The ladies turned around as they looked at each other.

"Where are we?" asked Grace, noticing the thick clouds.

Urara turned around as she scanned with her device. She turned around as she looked at her, "Well, I am not getting a signal."

"Which means… calling for help is probably not going to work," said Grace.

"Nor… morphing," Urara said, "It's not like the Mystic Morphers where we can morph in any dimension."

Grace sighed as she turned to Urara, "Thanks for the tip."

The girls turned around as they heard a loud noise. The ladies turned around as they noticed the similar creature. He walked over as he looked at them.

"The Cuberator… where is it?"

"What's a Cuberator?" asked Grace.

"Uh… good question?" asked Urara.

Immediately, his claws stretched out, grabbing the two girls. Screaming, the creature began to release blue and red beams, surrounding the girls as they were being electrocuted with ease.

Two hours later…

Seb, Zander and Lamar were climbing up mountains as they were looking around. Lamar sighed as he turned around, seeing Greninja splash up from the riverbank, landing beside him.

"Nothing, eh?" asked Lamar.

"Gre…," said Greninja.

Lamar sighed as he took out Greninja's Poké Ball, "Thanks for trying."

Returning Greninja to the Poké Ball, Lamar turned around as he looked at Zander and Seb. Lamar sighed turning to the group. Seb and Zander agreed. No contact from the girls and not a trace of them. It only meant a few things. They were captured by something… or someone. Lamar turned around as he was getting a bit anxious. Zander turned to Lamar, looking as the black ranger tried to reserve himself. Seb turned around as he looked at the others.

"I have an idea," said Seb, looking at them, pulling out his Relic Detector, "Amy?"

"Yes?" she asked over the intercom.

"Can you pinpoint Grace's last position?" Seb asked.

"Surely. Sending now," Amy responded.

Immediately, beeping noises surrounded Seb's Relic Detector. The gentlemen followed the path back. They went through bushes, trees and even pebble-stoned like passageways. As they continued going south Route 119, the group turned around as they noticed the area. There, Urara's bags were placed on the ground. As Seb turned around, he began to look at the rock. Seb turned around as he felt the rock, feeling the formation. He felt something damp as he looked up at the sky. There was not a cloud in the sky and then he turned around, not noticing a river. Seb turned around as he went to scan the rock with his morpher. As he did, he was getting some weird sounds. Looking at it, he noticed the red lines going up and down in waves.

"Something happened here. The water on that rock is not ordinary…," said Seb.

Zander turned around as he looked at the rock, scanning it. As he did, he saw something glowing in blue light. He looked at the morpher, "Seb… there's an artifact reading at a high level…"

"But, I don't see a physical location!" said Seb.

Suddenly, Max's voice interjected, "Rangers, there's one thing I forgot to mention. It is a possibility the Cuberator is active."

"Cuberator?" asked Seb.

"Believe it or not, the Cuberator at the time was a gourd that had the antidote for the scarlet fever," said Max.

Zander turned around as he looked at them, "Do you think someone is kidnapping trainers for questions on where to find it?"

"Could be… or…," said Max, "Someone found the Cuberator. I would head to the Hoenn Wasteland."

Zander turned around, "I might go with both options."

Lamar turned around as he looked at the two of them. He turned around as he looked at the two rangers, "Guys, I think it's best if we return. I don't like this."

Seb looked at him and said in a stern, calm voice, "If we can find the Cuberator, maybe we can save the girls from this and if there is someone yearning for it, we can give it back."

"I don't do well with spirits," said Lamar, "Even playing with magic was tough."

Zander sighed as he looked at Lamar, "Dude… we faced demons and underworld creatures. We can handle this."

Lamar turned around as he looked at him, "I hope you're right, Zander."

A few hours passed as the gentlemen continued their climb up the mountain. This time, they took a different route. Following up a rock formation that was on Route 119, the crew used their Scope Shots, hitting a rock formation. Seb turned around as he started climbing the mountain. Reeling up, he got on a rock formation and started climbing the rocks. Zander and Lamar followed suit as they continued climbing the mountain. The gentlemen eventually got a cliff, where they reached the edge. Grabbing on the cliff, Seb looked up as he got on the ground. He looked up as he noticed the platform. It was barren and cold. Helping up Lamar and Zander, the boys turned around as they saw nothing but a statue. The crew noticed the fog in the air.

"This is Hoenn Wasteland… the original place where the government stood," said Seb.

Zander nodded as he noticed the old buildings and temples. Lamar stood around as he looked around the area. He turned around, seeing a human statue. Lamar looked up as he noticed the statue. The statue of the emperor of the region. As Lamar went to touch the statue, a red aura surrounded it. Noticing what was going on, Zander dashed over, tackling Lamar to the ground as they took cover. The statue exploded in response. Seb turned around as he noticed the rubble. Dashing over, he saw the two of them carefully getting up from the ground.

"Ugh…," said Lamar, "Thanks."

"No problem," said Zander, brushing the dust off of his pants. The three rangers turned around as they noticed something. Lamar turned around as he scanned the wreckage. Turning around, he was able to see it digitally on his Relic Detector. As he looked at the statue, he noticed that the emperor was holding something. He then noticed the hands in the wreckage and then looked at the scanner.

"What?" asked Seb.

"He had something in his hand," said Lamar, "According to the original statue."

"And someone blew up the statue to get rid of the evidence," said Zander.

"Wait…," said Seb, looking at the statue base. As he brushed off the dust, he read the description on the statue. His eyes widened as he looked at the base, "Guys, I think we have something. This is his grave."

Lamar and Zander turned to each other and then at Seb. Before Lamar could say anything, a water droplet hit Lamar. Lamar turned around as a cloud of fog began to cover him. Lamar yelled before he could disappear. Seb and Zander turned around as he disappeared in the fog.

"LAMAR!" shouted Seb.

Meanwhile…

Lamar landed on the ground in the fog-like area. Looking up, he got on all fours and then slowly stood up as he noticed someone in front of him. The creature was a grey Slowking, The Slowking was thinner as he had a black and golden staff with red and black armor.

"Where is the Cuberator?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about… but you stole a few people… I would like them back!"

Before the creature could strike with ease, Lamar blocked the attack and then kicked the creature in the face. As hand to hand combat occurred, the creature was kicked multiple times. As the creature went to stab him with the staff, Lamar grabbed the staff and with his hand, he managed to smack the top of it. Due to how old the staff was sparks flew out. The creature stumbled as he went to strike, only to have golden beams shoot him down. The fog disappeared as the creature hissed. Seb and Zander turned around as he looked at him.

"You okay?" asked Seb.

"Yeah… That beast has something to do with the girls…," said Lamar.

Seb nodded as Zander agreed with his statement. Lamar nodded as he took out his morpher, "Let's do this!"

"Relic Hunters, Start Up!"

Red, blue and black lights surrounded them as they transformed into their ranger suits. The three rangers took out their Relic Blasters, piercing gold beams as the creature was hit hard by the attack. Seb, Lamar and Zander flipped forward as they went to strike. The creature screamed as golden beams struck, shooting the three of them. Explosions surrounded them as the three flipped back. Zander looked up as he pulled out his Relic Blaster, shooting the rock wall. Rocks flew across as the creature was hit. As a rockslide emerged, Seb, Lamar and Zander took their Scope Shots, aiming for the trees. As they lifted off, the creature screamed as the boulders crashed on Route 119. The three rangers jumped up to a platform. Landing on the ground, a red, blue and black aura surrounded them as they transformed out.

Meanwhile…

"… Rachel… Rachel!"

Rachel woke up as she looked around. She noticed nothing but cages and flame-like torches on either side. Grace and Urara grinned as Rachel looked at them, "What's up? Where are we?"

"We've been contemplating for hours," said Grace, "We can't get a signal though."

Urara sighed as she turned around, "Well… at least we are here. Now, how do we get out of here?"

"Simple, you don't."

Urara turned around. Grace and Rachel looked at each other. The three ladies stood in surprise as the Aqua Grunts arrived. Shelly appeared behind them as she looked at them.

"Shelly," Grace responded with anger.

"Team Aqua's behind this," said Rachel, "Aren't they?"

Shelly laughed as she looked at her, "Oh rangers… unleashing the emperor was the best thing we had in mind."

"Wait…," said Grace, turning to Shelly, "Come again?"

Shelly laughed, "Oh, rangers… we need to have a talk, even though you won't last long to see the end result."

Meanwhile…

Lamar was scratching his neck as the gentlemen sat down together. He turned around as Seb and Zander watch him scratch. However, even though he was scratching smoothly across, there was nothing there. But, Lamar felt otherwise.

"I feel targeted," said Lamar, "That raindrop that hit caused an itch in my skin when he tried to pull me in his dimension. Almost like a curse."

"Well, if you stop scratching, I can take a look," said Seb, "That was the emperor alright."

"But, isn't the emperor dead?" asked Zander.

"His body is… that statue, however, it is cursed," said Seb.

"And how do you know that?" asked Zander.

Seb turned around as he looked at the blue ranger, "Well… someone had to blow up the statue and take the Cuberator. It must have woken up his unrest soul."

Lamar sat down, looking at the rangers as Zander went to scan his neck. As he turned around, he noticed blue lettering on the back of his neck. He looked at it as the words scrambled.

"Beware of the Curse of Hoten… those that destroy my statue will be cursed by my soul," he said.

Lamar turned around as he looked at Seb. Seb turned around as he turned to Zander. Zander froze as Lamar stood up, looking for him.

"But, how do we get me free?" asked Lamar.

"The Cuberator," said Seb, "If we can purify… we can free you. We have no idea what this curse does."

"Well… I am not going to wait for answers," the black ranger said, pointing to the mountain, "We are heading back up there!"

Before Sebastian could say anything, Lamar marched forward as he was heading to the rock wall. Zander and Seb turned to each other as they followed suit, making sure that he wasn't going into anything perilous on his own.

A half hour later…

The crew climbed up the mountain, liked they did the previous time. As the three rangers helped each other to the ledge, they noticed the wreckage of the cursed body as they went through the mountain, seeing the pile of stones. Lamar stepped forward with anger, "Come on out! I have a bone to pick with you!"

"We know you have the Cuberator… let's be reasonable… we mean no harm," said Seb.

Zander nodded, "Yeah, and if you can return the girls, that'd be great!"

"Uh… not happening!"

The rangers turned around, noticing Archie and Matt on the top of the mountain. Archie grinned as he looked at Sebastian, "Why, hello."

"Archie," Seb said, "Matt… what do you want?"

Matt laughed as he looked at Lamar. The two of them jumped down as they looked at the rangers. Matt grinned as he took out a black gourd with blue stripes, but the base was the shape of a cub with green pointed corners. Matt looked at Lamar with laughter as he turned to him, "Well, we beat you to it."

"The Cuberator?" asked Seb.

"Its an antidote that can dwell Hoten's soul…. Seeing that we destroyed the statue and took the Cuberator, we figured we get the spirit to kidnap you one by one," said Matt, "And curse you, of course as we use this artifact. The spirit will be back to absorb your souls."

"This was a set up this whole time?" asked Zander, looking at Seb, "They set off the creature."

Seb turned around, "Disrespecting the dead is a whole new low for you."

"Well… to put you in a tight corner has succeeded. So, here are your options. Surrender the Heart of Kyogre, the Blades of Hoenn, Madness Castform and the Crest of Cresselia to me… and I can use this to our advantage and make an agreement," said Archie, "You can be my special task force."

Seb laughed as he looked at him, "Sorry… I don't plan on giving my humanity."

Matt laughed as he turned to him, "I'll let Shelly know. Their execution will be fun."

Seb turned around as he looked at Lamar and Zander. Meanwhile, a whirlwind arrived as Hoten arrived. This time, in the flesh as he landed on the ground. Matt grinned as he started to retreat. Seb turned to Lamar and Zander as he went to morph, but Lamar put his hand on Seb's shoulder.

"Save the girls… I'll handle Hoten," said Lamar

"Got it," said Seb, looking at the mountain, chasing after him. Zander and Lamar withdrew their morphers.

"Ready, partner?" asked Lamar.

"You got it, bro," said Zander.

The two rangers placed their Relic Detectors on their left shoulder, "Relic Hunters, Start Up!"

A flash of black and blue lights surrounded them as their digital blueprints arrived, transforming them into their suits.

"Hunter Sabers!" they shouted, pulling out their weapons. Zander and Lamar charged as Hoten followed suit, ready to destroy them.

Meanwhile...

Grace turned around as she looked at Shelly and the Aqua Grunts. Rachel turned around as she looked at them. Urara nodded as she looked at the other two. Morphing would give away that they were going to break out. Urara scanned as she turned around, the cages. Sitting down, she took out a laptop as Shelly looked at her.

"What are you doing?" asked Shelly.

Urara looked at her as she turned to Shelly, "Well, I am bored… so I am looking up items on sale, specifically dresses?"

Shelly looked at her as the Aqua Grunts walked over, grabbing the keys from Shelly. As one of them opened the keys, Urara winked as she was carried out. As Urara was thrown to the center of the group, Shelly turned to her as she grabbed her laptop, noticing the dresses.

"Oh…," said Shelly, turning around as she saw a Relic Blaster at her face.

"Did you think I would not come armed?" asked Urara, "Thanks, Shelly."

Grace pushed the gate open as she kicked a few of the grunts in the stomach. Rachel rolled over as she kicked a few of them in the stomach. She turned around as she did a spinning hook kick, knocking the laptop out of Shelly's hand. Urara grabbed the laptop as she chased for her backpack. Grabbing her backpack, Shelly charged forward. Urara pulled the trigger, shooting Shelly in the stomach. Sparks surrounded her as Urara kicked her in the face. Flipping forward, Urara dashed forward, seeing Matt and Archie. Archie laughed as he grabbed her by the neck.

"Hello, scamp! Escaping, eh?"

"Enough!"

The ladies turned around. Looking over, Seb dashed over, morphed, slashing Matt and Archie. Archie yelled as Urara broke free. The Aqua Grunts continued their onslaught as Rachel and Grace grabbed their Relic Detectors.

"Relic Hunters, Start Up!" yelled Grace and Urara.

A pink and yellow aura surrounded them as they transformed into their suits. As the Aqua Grunts were finished, Urara turned around as she looked at Seb, "Seb, they -."

"I know! Lamar and Zander are facing him now," said Seb.

Matt laughed, "The Cuberator is ours, rangers."

Rachel and Grace turned to each other as they heard a snarling noise and then a chomp. Matt screamed as Urara's Furfrou bit on his left wrist. The Cuberator fell to the ground as Urara grabbed it. As Urara collected the artifact, Furfrou jumped down.

"Good boy!" shouted Urara.

Seb, Grace and Rachel followed behind. Seb pulled the trigger as golden blasts shot the cave, causing a cave-in. As the four of them ran outside, the rangers turned around as they noticed what was going on. Hoten was crushing Zander and Lamar as they landed on the ground.

"Zander, let me handle this," said Lamar.

"But….," said Zander.

Lamar turned around, "I have an idea!"

Hoten released blue and yellow bolts from his saber, slashing the two rangers. Lamar flipped back as he landed on his back, cringing in pain as he sat up. Standing up, Lamar pressed his belt buckle, "Doom Hammer!"

He carried the Doom Hammer in his hands as he charged forward. Hoten released red and blue beams. Lamar kept dashing back and forth as he was heading toward him. Hoten went to strike him down, however, he deflected the blasts with his hammer. He jumped up as he raised the hammer. A black and red aura surrounded it.

"Shadow Slammer!"

A black and red aura surrounded his hammer as he crushed Hoten on the head. A red and yellow aura surrounded him as he exploded into pieces. Meeting up with Zander, the other rangers showed up. Urara grinned as she turned around.

"That was great!" Rachel shouted.

"Yeah, that was awesome, wasn't it?" Lamar asked, hugging Rachel tightly. Rachel looked at the others as she turned to him, "I was so worried."

"At least his soul is at peace," said Seb, "The Cuberator is secure, Team Aqua has failed another plan."

"Or so you think…" Archie shouted.

The rangers turned around, noticing Archie. Archie's eyes began to glow in a red aura. He stretched out his trident, as a red lightning bolt struck the corpse. He laughed as he saw Hoten grow. The rangers stood as they noticed a mega-sized Hoten.

"Hoten, they have your artifact… destroy them!" he shouted.

Hoten yelled as he raised his staff. His staff slashed a few trees and destroyed a few habitats along Route 119. The rangers screamed as they landed on the ground, falling off the cliff. Quickly, Seb and the others took out their Scope Shots, shooting at any random tree. Zander quickly grabbed Urara as he wrapped his Scope Shot around a tree. Immediately, they flew across as they landed on the ground. Hoten screamed as flames surrounded the crew. As the rangers looked up, red lightning bolts surrounded the rangers as explosions arrived. Not just sparks, we are talking bomb like explosions. As the rangers landed on the ground, Urara turned around as she opened her laptop, "I am sending the zords."

Within five minutes, the rangers turned around as the Relic Hunter Zords arrived. In a flash of white light, the rangers grabbed their Relic Drivers.

"Let's finish them off, team!" shouted Seb.

"Right!" shouted the rangers.

The rangers jumped into their zords, placing the Relic Drivers in the console. Seb turned around as he looked at the screen.

"Adventure Fusion!"

Pressing 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 on her Relic Detector, Rachel spun the device. The Houndoom and the Manectric got on all fours. The legs began to shrink as they turned into wheels. Leaving the heads where they were, their bodies lifted 90 degrees. The Blaziken Zord jumped up into the air as it landed on top of the zord legs. A red and golden charge surrounded the zords as they combined. The Swampert Zord divided in half. The Swampert's head and chest popped out as the body split in half, connecting to either side of Blaziken. The chest connected to the front of the Blaziken with the head covering the Blaziken. Last, the Gallade Zord flipped up as it put its legs together and spread its arms wide. Connecting to the back, Gallade Zord's arms wrapped around the chest. Golden eyes appeared on the helmet as the Megazord formed.

"Relic Hunter Megazord, Assembly Complete!"

The Relic Hunter Megazord was slashed multiple times by Hoten. Hoten released red lightning bolts as the rangers were hit hard by the attack. Explosions surrounded the crew as they held on.

"Let's get this show on the road," said Seb, "Relic Scooper!"

Immediately, a ruby colored scooper materialized in its hands. The Relic Hunter Megazord deflected another beam of energy as the rangers took a hit.

"Relic Axe!" shouted Lamar, pressing the button.

A sapphire pickaxe appeared, piercing Hoten repeatedly. Hoten turned around as he slashed the Megazord multiple times. As the Relic Hunter Megazord stumbled, the rangers went to deflect with the scooper.

"How about this? Adventure Saber!" shouted Zander, "The finisher!"

Immediately, the Relic Scooper and the Relic Axe began to shine in a golden aura, transforming into an emerald saber with golden designs. Cruelgatine stood there with fear as Seb held on. Everyone pushed the full accelerator as a red, blue and green aura surrounded the saber. A Poké Ball with a compass appeared behind the Megazord as the engines began to increase.

"Adventure Saber, Hunter Overdrive!"

As the saber went to strike Hoten, he raised his staff in the air. Red and pink bolts struck the sky as explosions surrounded the rangers. The Adventure Saber flew up in the air as the Relic Hunter Megazord landed on the ground, destroying a few hundred acres as Hoten walked toward them. Sparks surrounded the Megazord.

"Any bright ideas?" asked Lamar.

"I do have one… Beedrill and Gyarados!" said Seb.

"Hold on!"

The rangers turned around as Urara appeared in the cockpit. The rangers looked at her as she turned to them, "I would rather be up here anyway."

Seb turned around, "Okay… what's up?"

"You guys had issues with one zord at a time… you need to channel your grid power carefully!" said Urara.

"But, we don't have a choice though," said Grace.

"I know. I am just giving you my two cents worth. Sending the zords!" said Urara, "Relic Hunters Zord 6 and 7, launch!"

Hoten walked toward the Relic Hunter Megazord. The rangers watched as he went to stab them in the chest. With a high staff, he charged forward into the chest. However, an amber beam shot the creature down. Hoten turned around as the Gyarados Zord was dragging along with the Beedrill Zord, shooting needles. Hoten screamed as explosions surrounded him.

"Well…," said Urara, "I have an idea."

"Idea?" asked Seb.

"It's going to hurt…," said Urara, "JT, did you make the modifications?"

JT was on another screen in the cockpit, "… We didn't test it yet."

"Well… they are going to need it now," said Urara.

JT turned to the rangers while watching the battle of the auxiliary zords, "Rangers, we haven't tried this. But, combine the Beedrill and the Gyarados Zord."

"A seven zord combination?" asked Lamar, "Seb, that's a high risk. It was enough with six!"

"We got to do what we need to do," said Seb, "Double Adventure Upgrade!"

Pressing 6 and 7, he spun the Relic Detector, the two zords headed straight toward the Relic Hunter Megazord. The Gyarados split into two parts, top and bottom as it connected to one of the arms. The Gyarados connected around the left arm of the Megazord. The Beedrill began to fold its arms to right angles as it floated over toward the right arm of the Megazord. Wrapping around, the wings folded on top as the stingers moved down to the end, making a massive drill. The drill began to glow bright lime as it stretched out. The Gyarados Zord began to glow a bright aqua color.

"Anchor Driller Megazord, assembly complete!"

Hoten charged forward as he tried to strike. The Beedrill arm stretched out as lime needles pierced his body repeatedly. The creature yelled as he spun around to strike. A Hyper Beam came out of the Gyarados's mouth, shooting the creature down. A glow surrounded the rangers as blue sparks surrounded their suits.

"Break the limit!" shouted Seb.

The rangers nodded as they went into full throttle. The drill began to glow lime and the mouth of the Gyarados began to glow bright aqua as the rangers began to glow in an aura, hanging on.

"Anchor Driller Megazord: Twin Draco Beam!"

A lime and aqua blast shot out, swirling around into a drill as Hoten screamed. As his body was pierced through, Archie and the others watched as he fell to the ground, exploding. Archie watched the wreckage as he turned to them.

"Rangers… this isn't the end," said Archie.

Matt and Shelly looked at each other silently. Shelly turned around, "We need to make them pay!"

"In due time, Shelly," he said, walking away from the battlefield.

An hour later…

The red doors opened as the rangers stepped in. As they arrived at the table, Lamar placed a golden case on the table. Max turned around as he looked at Lamar, walking out of his chair and heading to the group. He turned around, noticing the Cuberator.

"Wow… what happened to Hoten?" he asked.

"Well… his spirit will be at rest for once…," said Lamar, "Can't believe Archie would toy around with something like that."

"Not surprising at this point," said Zander.

Jack turned around as he lifted the Cuberator up, scanning it with a silver device. He looked at it as he turned to the group. He stretched out his scanner, showing the number "0" in green lettering.

"Hazard Level: 0?" asked Lamar.

Rachel sighed as she turned to the group, "Well, that was nice."

Grace turned around as she looked at Rachel. She put her hand on the shoulder, "Well, hopefully the next artifact will give us some answers."

Before Seb could continue, a blue flash surrounded the Cuberator. The rangers turned around as a blue aura surrounded it. A white beam shot out as Hoten arrived. This time, in a spirit. His Slowking was in spirit as his human face was formed. It was bright blue… and fuzzy, hardly able to make out an image.

"Rangers… I presume," Hoten said.

"Hoten… the first emperor of Hoenn," said Seb, "I want to say we are sorry for your grave."

"I understand. It was not your fault. Because of your courageous act, you were able to put my soul at rest. The Fog of Disease has stopped. The Cuberator was able to break the curse and save me from slumber. Because of that, I must reward you," he said.

The rangers stood next to each other as he continued to speak, "Something did land in the Cuberator. I believe this is yours."

His Slowking floated toward the ground. Landing on the ground, Slowking placed something on the table. Floating up toward the ground, the rangers turned around as they noticed a yellow jewel… opal, to be exact.

"May you find peace in your journey…" he said. The blue spirit diminished as the Cuberator stopped shining. The rangers turned around as they saw the yellow jewel. As Rachel picked up the yellow jewel, a Pichu's face magically appeared on the jewel. The rangers turned around as a yellow glow surrounded the jewel. The jewel went toward the crown, connecting to the Crown of Weather.

"That's the first jewel…," said Seb.

"… Wait… what?" asked Rachel.

"We found the first jewel of the crown!" said Zander, turning around happily, "You know what this means?"

Seb nodded as he turned to the group, "One step close to restoring our magic. One step closer in reviving Rayquaza."

The rangers nodded as they admired the shining aura of the crown. Jack and Urara stood there with amazement as Max grinned with happiness. With four jewels remaining, the rangers knew that it was going to be tricky. As the rangers celebrated another victory, they were observing the yellow jewel that was attached to the crown.
