Ch.26: Amazon Cage Duel
(Author's Note: Man, can't believe I got this far. Now to answer some questions I have gotten- mostly about the Duel Giant- I do plan on putting that somewhere. Before I get the bombardment of messages, remember this is a different universe after all, some things from the canon show might appear, and when they do it'll be at either earlier or later times. And again, I will answer any questions through the PMs.)
The group camped out in front of the Colosseum as the night crept over the forest their campfire brightens their area, Kroluhaal and Mindokah kept their eyes on Dinok, as he remained bind by the Fiendish Chains, while the rest sat round the campfire. Sheppard and Crowler were trying to wrap their heads around the outcome of the Shadow Duel.
"I just can't believe Mr. Misawa lost." Crowler muttered, "He was the best student."
"Vellian." Sheppard sighed, "You know very well—"
"I meant in the Ra Dorm, Sir." Crowler replied, "He was the only Ra, I recommended to become an Obelisk."
"It was the bitch." Chazz hissed, getting the headmaster and teacher's attention, "She used her body to distract him, regardless of how smart one is, a man will always be distracted by a woman's body."
"So, you are saying you would make mistakes as well?"
The three of them turn to Sophitia as she leans forward as Vahraniik is healing her back from being pushed into the wall, "Not just me." Chazz stated, "But also the Slacker as well."
"And what makes you think the Young Lord would be distracted?" Sophitia asked.
"Uh, he's a guy?" Chazz asked back with snark, "All guys will get distracted."
Sophitia lets out a snarl before the Healer puts her hands on the Royal Guard's shoulders and pushed her back down to sit.
"No!" Vahraniik snarled, "You stay seated, until I say you can move." She then looks up glaring at Chazz, "And as for you! Have you already forgotten the Young Lord is a Dragon not a human?"
The Chancellor, Crowler and Chazz's eyes widen, before Crowler sighed out, "With everything that has been happening, I completely forgot about that."
"What's the difference?!" Chazz demanded, "He's still a male regardless of what he is!"
"A male the Young Lord is," A voice spoke up causing Crowler and Chazz to yelp out, as Koraavnu emerges from the forest and sat down next to Chazz, "but a Dragon takes only one to be with forever."
"Huh?!" Chazz asked.
"I'm not one for philosophical riddles," Crowler stated, "but, I think that old—"
"I prefer 'Blind' or 'Wise One', thank you." Koraavnu interrupted Crowler.
"Anyways," Crowler continued, "I think he's trying to say, since the Slacker is with Ms. Rhodes, he won't do anything with other girls."
"That's the dumb way of putting it." Koraavnu replied.
"By the Gods, you humans are so fucking dumb!" Gahlot snarled out from the treetops, "We Dragons only take one mate for our entire life!"
"Yes, thank you, Gahlot!" Vahraniik sighed out, "However, she is correct. Since Prince Draco is- in human terms- dating Alexis, he will not let other females into his love life."
"So, you're saying that Slacker will just have Alexis for the rest of his life?" Chazz asked, "Even if Alexis were to die?!"
"Ok one; dark." Koraavnu stated, "And two; Dragons takes one mate for life, until death separates them."
"Ok I see with what you are saying." Sheppard said, "But indulge me with this question." Koraavnu leans over as if to hear the question, "If Draco and Alexis were to- say argue to the point of them ending their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend, what will Draco do?"
The Blind Sage lean forward, thinking this information over, Sheppard looked across the fire, seeing Sophitia and Vahraniik doing the same.
"Um, I might just be spit balling here." Mana spoke up, getting every head at the fire to turn towards her, "Draco was raised as a human for-?"
"Sixteen years." Sophitia answered.
"Ok, for sixteen years, He might be fighting with himself." Mana stated, "I mean with sixteen years of being a human, he knows that relationships can break up, but with him being a Dragon, since he picked Alexis to be- in your terms- his mate, he'll be fighting himself into trying to date another."
"Well, that could be a possibility." Koraavnu said, "With how you humans have relationships, the Young Lord does know that they either continue or don't."
"But his instincts as a Dragon," Vahraniik added, "if he sees another male with Alexis, his instincts will tell him to fight the male back."
"I just hope it won't come down to that." Sheppard said, "The last thing I need to hear for anyone who doesn't or does know of Draco's true heritage to inform myself that Draco caused problems."
Immediately the three Dragons turn their heads looking at Chazz, with two of them giving him a deadpan stare, "It was one time, you stupid—"
"If you call us 'lizards' boy, you will have one massive headache the second you utter that word." Koraavnu said, as he threateningly raised his staff.
"Did we miss something here, Chancellor?" Crowler asked.
"I'm not sure." He replied.
"To make it simple," Sophitia spoke up, "During certain Full Moons we tend to be more territorial, and that dumbass decided to enter the Young Lord's dorm room during such a Full Moon that affected the Young Lord."
"So, he out right attacked a student?!" Crowler yelled.
"Nearly." She replied, still looking at Chazz, "Luckily, he decided to listen to me when I told him to close the door."
As the seven of them talked, Kroluhaal and Mindokah kept their focus on Dinok as he huffs loudly in the Fiendish Chains that held him down, before slightly looking ahead, seeing Syrus staring back.
"Finally brave enough to approach me, only while I'm restraint?" Dinok asked, with a slight snarl.
"W-well, I-I just wanted to be sure, since you work- or serve Draco- that you were fine is all!" Syrus stuttered out.
"Dinok is fine." Kroluhaal replied, "However the Chains are still draining the Berserk's Rage from him."
"How long will it take?" Syrus asked.
"Luckily, Dinok wasn't in his Berserk state for too long." Mindokah stated, "By sunrise he'll be back to normal."
"If you call 'being pissed at everything and everyone' normal." Syrus tried to joke, giving a sheepish laugh, and getting a stifle laughter from Mindokah and Kroluhaal, until the Mage cleared his throat trying to cover it.
"Only brave to crack jokes, while I'm restraint?" Dinok snarled, "I don't know, if it's bravery from the Young Lord or cockiness from being just a mortal."
Syrus gulped loudly before starting to look around the little campsite and noticed that Draco wasn't anywhere to be seen, "Hey, where is Draco?" he asked. Mindokah began to look around herself and began to look panicked.
"I can save you the time." Sahlos approached the four of them, holding her daughter in her arms as she was sleeping the night away, "Kendov is with him as he blows off the frustration, he is having with a friend that lost to a Shadow Rider."
"Oh, that would explain why Alexis isn't here as well." Syrus stated, to which Sahlos looked around.
"Huh, didn't realize she was gone." She stated, "Good eye on you. I can see why Draco, had good faith in you to be a great duelist."
Syrus slightly blushed, rubbing the back of his head and chuckled lightly, "Oh, and don't say I'm being modest." Sahlos added, "You're dueling improved when Draco was training you, then you finally used Power Bond."
"I still haven't found a Dragon to add to my deck for the card Draco gave me." He said.
"Don't spend all of your money trying to get a single Dragon Card." Kroluhaal told him, "The human doesn't pick the Dragon. We Dragons pick the human."
"What do you mean by that?" Syrus asked.
"Lord Krono has a warrior among the ranks of his army," Sahlos explained, "a 'Dragon Rider' you could say. The Dragon chose that warrior as a partner and the pair were just one of the many newly formed 'Dragon Riders'."
"'Many'?" Syrus asked, "How many does Draco's dad have?"
Sahlos, Kroluhaal and Mindokah looked at each other, "We don't actually know." Sahlos replied, "Being the Lord of the Red-Eyed Dragons, only Dark Dragons can be anywhere near his Fortress."
"So, none of you can be there?"
"Only Kendov, Gahlot and Vonzun." Mindokah replied, "Since they are Dark Dragons."
"Kendov and Vonzun first served Lord Krono before they joined the Dragon Guards." Mindokah added, "After Her Highness and Lord Krono announced they were to be Mates, he sent them to join the Guards."
"But, wouldn't their union cause a peace between the dragons?" Syrus asked.
"The White Dragons and the Black Dragons have been enemies for many millennia." Kroluhaal replied, "Their hatred towards each other is now instincts."
"Oh." Syrus replied, "That's something that can't just disappear."
"But getting back on subject," Syrus said, "what does Draco do to get his frustration out?"
"His Martial Arts." Mindokah answered, "However, now that he can use his Flames with them, I can see why he wanted to do it away from everyone."
Elsewhere, Alexis sat on a small rock with Kendov standing nearby with his arms cross as they both watched Draco, growling and yelling out as he threw one punch after another into many trees, it didn't take long for Draco to hit one tree and gave out a pained snarled and glared at his left hand, before his right hand erupted with his Flame and roared out before slamming his fist into the tree, shattering a large chunk off and caused the tree to fall and crash to the ground. After Draco fell to his knees huffing out in exhaustion and anger, Alexis looked up at the Fighter as he gives her a small head nod. She slowly stood up and walked over to Draco.
"Draco? Are you alright?"
"Alexis, this is why I didn't want you to follow me."
She looked at his left hand, before slowly lifting it up, causing Draco to wince out, "Did you really break your hand?"
Draco looks down at his hand at the disfigured fingers, before slowly taking his hand into his other and let out a loud groan as four loud pops were heard. Draco looked down seeing his left hand slightly swollen, unable to bend the fingers.
"Damn." He groaned, "I won't be using this hand for a while."
"Young Lord." Kendov spoke up, "Our Healer is still at your campsite. However, resetting your hand was both and smart and dumb decision."
"How was it dumb and smart?" Alexis asked.
"Smart, since it'll be less work for Vahraniik," Kendov replied, "but dumb, since she could have repaired the hand without pain."
"Ok, I can understand that, but wouldn't it have taken longer to heal if Draco didn't reset his hand?"
Kendov thought for a few seconds as he looks upwards to the stary sky, "Hmm, only about five minutes longer." He replied, "Plus, by resetting his hand, there might be some issues to address with it later."
Draco lets out a small groan, pressing his left hand to the ground, and getting a look from Alexis, the three of them made their way through the forest, they were able to see the light from the campfire, as Sheppard and Vahraniik noticed the three approaching and sat down near the Healer.
"So, did he get all of his Rage out?" Vahraniik asked.
"For the most part." Kendov replied, "His left hand needs to be attended though. Broke it against a tree before resetting his fingers."
"That was stupid of you, young Lord."
"I already heard it from Kendov, Vahraniik." Draco stated, "Just tell me how long do I have for my hand to be fully healed."
Vahraniik looks over Draco's hand, before resting it between her own hands, and gave off a faint yellow glow, "Well, if you didn't reset your hand, it would have taken a week." She said, "But since you did, I advise you don't throw punches with your left hand for three days."
"You mean not to hit anyone with it for three days, right?" Draco asked.
"No, I mean not to throw a punch, not even in training."
"Are you saying, he can't even duel?" Crowler asked.
"No, he can." She replied, "He just can't do anything too physical with it is all."
"I really think he shouldn't duel." Alexis said, getting all eyes on her.
"Is the reason behind that, because of his hand?" Mana asked.
"It's more of that Tania woman." She replied, "If what Draco said about their culture is true, if she wins, then Draco would end up like Bastion."
"Alexis," Draco sighed, "even if I did lose, I have given that some thought, and something has been nagging in my head."
"Instincts." Kendov spoke up, "That would be your instincts tell you to stay with your current ma—apologizes—girlfriend."
"Glad you are starting to use human customs." Draco told him.
"Maybe you should start using Dragon customs." Gahlot stated.
"Anyways!" Draco slightly yelled, "If it is my instincts, and if I lose, it won't change anything."
"You sure about that?" Alexis asked.
"He is right." Vahraniik said, finishing with his hand, "As a Dragon, we only take one mate for life. Since he—or if I recall—you chose him, after his Shadow Duel with the Archfiends, Draco and yourself are now together for life. Again, Dragon terms"
"When did I—" Alexis started to ask, until she remembered, she was the one to kiss first, "Oh right, when he got me to the Dorm."
"Yeah, that's when my instincts first rose up." Draco stated, "That could also be why I get a sudden urge of anger when I see another guy flirting with you."
Before the discussion continued, a loud sudden moan began to rise over the walls of the colosseum, which caused all heads to turn to the large wall.
"What the hell?" Draco asked, "Is that Bastion?"
"What the hell is that bitch doing it him?" Sophitia asked, before noticing Vonzun scaling down the wall.
"It is the human male." Vonzun stated, "The Amazoness is dueling him."
"That's her dueling him?!" Gahlot asked from the tree, "sounds more like she's trying to breed with him!"
"Vahraniik?" Koraavnu asked, "Would you kindly pick that rock in arm's reach of you and throw it straight up?"
"Umm, ok?" she replied, confused as she picks the stone up and lightly tossed it into the air. To which the Blind Sage stood up and effortlessly used his staff and smacked the stone into a tree, to which a "thud!" was heard followed by Gahlot groaning and fell to the ground.
"Ugh! You fucking Bastard!"
"I told you years ago, that bluntness of yours will come back and hurt you."
All of the present Guards muttered in agreement, confirming he did say that at a point, before another loud moan was heard, which went on for hours, everyone tried to sleep the night, but were suddenly awoke by more moans, before Crowler went around and gave everyone ear plugs, which did muffle to moans to the point they could get some sleep. The next day, Draco being the first to be awoke as one ear plug popped out and was awoken to Bastion moaning again.
"She is still torturing him?!" he thought, as he came out of a tent he shared with Syrus, and saw Drake staring at the large wall, "Drake? When did you get here?"
"We switched out some time during the night." He replied, "Has that noise being doing that all night?"
"All night?!" Draco looked around, seeing the Slasher Brothers, Rahzun, Zooruvhun, Kinbok, Ronaan, and Rovit had being around the camp. The only Dragon Guards that were from the night before her Kroluhaal, Mindokah, and Dinok. It wasn't long before the others came out of the tents and after removing their own ear plugs heard Bastion moaning once more.
"What the fuck?! Have they been at it all night?!" Chazz asked.
"Apparently." Draco replied."
"If only I didn't lose to that so-called Vampire." Crowler muttered, "Trust me, Doc. I'm thinking the same thing." Draco added.
"I can't believe she's been dueling him all night." Syrus added, "He has to be extremely exhausted after all that."
"hey, Alexis?" Mana asked.
"Yeah?"
"I just remembered something that Shadow Rider said."
"And what would that be, Ms. Ishtar?" Sheppard asked his student.
"Well, she said something about not dueling 'her sisters'."
"So, she might go after Chazz or Draco next?" Sheppard asked.
"Like I said I will get distracted by her." Chazz said.
"And I know we agreed to let me carry on the duels," Draco added, "but given the current situation, I can take this one."
Suddenly, the gates leading inside the colosseum began to open, getting the Dragon Guards with weapons to take hold of them.
"HEY!" Dinok roared at Kroluhaal and Mindokah, "Get these chains off of me!"
"It's not time yet!" the Mage roared back, "Now, shut up and stay calm!"
The Key Bearers carefully walked to the gate with the Guards at their sides, getting ready to get cross the blades, before Drake began to lower his blade hearing ragged footsteps.
"Recruit!" Kinbok slightly yelled, "Keep your weapon at the ready!"
"Captain? You don't hear how ragged those steps are?" he asked, before the others began to listen carefully.
"Hey, he's right." Syrus said. The Guards kept their grips on their weapons as the steps slowly got louder as they got closer. The rising sun shines into the tunnel showing beaten, dirty, torn pants; followed by a same condition shirt, and finally seeing a tired but beaten familiar face.
"Bastion?!" Draco gasped out, "Rith, Zahkriirith! Help him!" The two Slasher Brothers sheath their blades and quickly rushed over taking an arm each and carried him out from the tunnel, all the while Bastion muttered under his breath as they laid him down on one of the sleeping bags.
"Someone get me some—" Draco began before Zooruvhun held what seemed to be an old-style water carrier, "Where did you—Never mind!" Draco took the carrier, popping the cork or stopper out from the top and then pour a small amount on to Bastion's face, to which he gasps out and sputter loudly.
"Bloody hell!" he gasped out, "Do you realize how cold that water is?!"
"Young Duelist," Kinbok spoke up, "With Water Dragons among the Dragon Guards they know how to keep water cold or warm."
Draco handed the carrier to the Ra student as he began to chug it down and let out a loud gasp as he finished it, "Dude, what the hell happened in there?" Draco asked him. Bastion's eyes returned to the dead stare before sighing out heavily.
"She left me." He muttered.
Everyone looked confused at each other, before Draco looked back at the three Guards still stationed in the same position, "Kroluhaal! I need you here!"
"In a second, Young Lord!" he yelled back, before chains falling to the ground, "Alright, Dinok, you need to head back to the Guild and rest up."
"You think I need to rest up?!"
"Do not make me get the Sage out here, buddy!" After the small argument, to which Dinok silently growled as Kroluhaal walked over to the rest of them, "What is it, Young Lord?"
"I need to check over Bastion." He replied, "He seems to be distressed that Tania left him."
"Thinking the power of her Shadow Charm is still on him?"
Draco gave a nod as the Mage began to look over Bastion, raising a brow, "Strange."
"What is it?" Draco asked.
"There is nothing on him." He replied, "There is no magic of the Shadow Realm on him."
"If that is true, "Crowler said, "then why is he acting like he is still under her spell?"
"Because she is amazing." Bastion said, "Tania is strong, beautiful and just am—" he's little daze speech was cut off as Draco splash more cold water in his face, "What was that—"
"In case you forgotten Bastion, that bitch pretty much turned you into her sex slave!" Draco snarled back, "And now, you are saying and acting like she is now the love of your life! Do you not see how crazy that sounds?! Especially coming from one of the smartest students the Academy has ever seen?!" he then stood up and began to walk away from the group and the colosseum.
"Draco?" Alexis called out, "Where are you going?"
"back to my Dorm room. 'he replied, "I need to find out if there is a card that can beat either Warrior or Earth Attribute monsters. Hopefully by beating her, Bastion will regain his senses." Bastion quickly stood up about to protest, "Bastion! Think!" Draco yelled back, "When has any girl clouded you this badly without some form of cheating? The last time was when one a girl from the Ra Girl Dorm used a perfume, with a scent too strong you couldn't really focus, and it was killing my nose!"
"I assure you," Bastion snapped, "my mind has never been more clear!"
"Bastion, do you even see what you are wearing?!" Syrus asked to which Bastion looked at what he is wearing.
"It is a token of her love to me." He replied. Draco just huffs out and continues to walk back to the Slifer dorm, Zooruvhun looked at the Slasher Brothers, gave them a huff and head motion, and the two took off after Draco. Mana and Syrus quickly followed their fellow Slifer. Alexis took a step towards them, only to held back by Kinbok.
"Let's see if they can help him this time." He told her, "You have been around him when he hits a problem, but there will be times you won't be around to help."
Alexis looked at him, before sighing out and giving a small smile, "Yeah, you are right." She said, "I guess it's just a habit to help friends when needed."
"You and the Young Lord have a lot in common." Drake spoke up, "Not an insult in anyway."
"You know, I think Draco would have ordered you to hold your tongue or something." Alexis stated to which the other Guards chuckled and agreed.
After some time, Draco let out a frustrated snarl and banged his hands against the computer desk, "How is it I can't find a single card with an Ability to destroy Warriors or Earth Monsters!?"
Outside of the Dorm room, Syrus and Mana backed up from the door as the two Slashers looked at the door before looking at each other concerned.
"Man, Draco has been in there for a half an hour." Mana said, "You think he would have found a card by now."
"He might have." Syrus added, "But the card he found might cause problems with his deck." To which the Brothers nod their heads growling softly in agreement.
"So, we know why the larger one can't talk," Mana said getting the two's attention, "but why can't you two talk? Did you also get an injury on your throats?" Rith shakes his head to answer.
"A vow of silence?" Syrus asked, getting a head shake from Zahkriirith this time, the two students tried to think about why the two Guards don't speak, until they both looked between the students. Syrus noticed the two staring behind them. When he looked behind himself, he let out a started gasp, as Mana looked back to see what startled him and jumped back as well, seeing a Dark Magician Girl leaning over the bars, hovering in the air.
"Were you two born—or rather—hatched with weak or damaged vocal cords?" she asked, getting a confirming nod from both of them.
"Y-you're D-D—" Syrus sputtered, while blushing.
"Yes, I'm a real Dark Magician Girl." She spoke up smiling, "You have seen all of these Dragon Guards, got transported to the Spirit World, learned your best friend is the Dragon Prince, and I'm the one that shocks you, Syrus?"
"How do you know my name?!" Syrus gasped out, blushing even deeper than before.
"Hold on." Mana spoke up, "Are you the Dark Magician Girl in his deck?"
"Yes, I am." She replied with a smile, "And because you did give my card to him as a gift, it really did boost his confidence." She then turned to Syrus, "And I did hear you telling some of them you've been to find a Dragon card for that Fusion card of me, but they are right. A Dragon decides who can use them, give it some time and a Dragon might appear for you."
Rith lets out a sound similar to a throat clear getting the three attention and began to sign language, "Was there any reason for appearing before us?"
"Actually, there is." She answered.
"You understood that?" Mana asked.
"You'll be surprised." Magician Girl replied, "We Duel Spirit are fluent in every language."
"Really?" Syrus asked.
Bailfiel, nos sind." Magician Girl replied, speaking in three languages. ("Indeed, we are.") (In order of the language she spoke; Arabic, Latin, and German.)
Syrus and Mana's jaws dropped hearing all three languages in sequence and with no problems as she just giggled lightly, "Told you."
Zahkriirith cleared his throat and slightly angerly signed, "What is your reason, Spellcaster?!"
"Oh, right!" she gasped out, "Sorry, sorry. It's a question for Syrus and Mana actually." She looks back at them, "Is the young Prince having trouble finding a certain card?"
"Yeah." Syrus replied, "He's been trying to find a card that works well against Warriors or Earth Monsters, but for an Ability to destroy them before the battle."
"Hmm." Magician Girl started to think very hard about the situation, "Is there a teacher in the Academy that could help with this? All I can think of is a Zombie card that destroys Warriors and Spellcasters, regardless of their attack points, after the damage is dealt."
Syurs' eyes lit up slightly before he began to run down the stairs and towards the Academy, "Syrus?!" Mana called out.
"I can only think of one teach to help with this! I'll be right back!" he called back.
Mana looked confused, before Dark Magician Girl vanished to follow him, and the Slasher Brothers looked at each other, signing again.
"Shouldn't they travel together?"
"The little guy doesn't have a Spirit Key, dumbass!"
After about a five-minute run, Syrus stood in front of one door and gulped loudly before slowly stretching his arm out and timidly knocked on the door, waited for three minutes for a response before knocking again, a little harder this time.
"Whoever is making that noise out there; you either come in or get a week of detention for the irritation!" Syrus lets out a tiny yelp before he nervously took hold of the door and opened it and peeked in, seeing Mai glaring at the door, but suddenly changed at seeing him.
"Oh, Syrus, wasn't it?" she asked, getting a shaky nod, and motioned him to come in, after hearing the door clicked shut, she sighs out, "I'm sorry for that treat, but all day I have heard multiple knocks and no one coming in after I respond to them."
"Maybe, it was the Obelisk dorm?" Syrus asked.
"I've been thinking that myself." Mai replied, "Since they happen to be the Dorm that gives me the most trouble. Now what is it you need, Hun?"
Syrus took a deep breath, still terrified to speak, "It-it's more what Draco needs."
Mai raised a brow and looked around, "Is he not with you?"
"No, he's in our Dorm room and has been searching for cards that work well against Warrior or Earth Monsters."
"Well, that's a very specific search." She replied, "Why is he looking for cards to destroy those types only?"
"Well," Syrus gulped as he rubbed his head, "Bastion lost a duel and the person—"
"Shadow Rider?' Mai asked, with a small smirk, getting Syrus look shocked, but remembered she was in the meeting about them, "Yeah, Shadow Rider." He replied, "She really humiliated Bastion, with her Amazoness deck."
"Oh, now I see why he is searching for a card for Warrior or Earth Monsters." Mai spoke up, shaking her head in amusement.
"Ma'am?" Syrus asked, confused.
"I'll let you in on a little secret, Hun." She told her student, "I have two decks. My faithful Harpie Deck, which I use to toy with my opponent. Or my Amazoness Deck, if I want to finish them quickly and harshly. So, I know how the Amazoness cards work."
Syrus' face lit up with a smile, "So, you have a card to stop them?"
"No, I don't." Mai replied, getting the smile form Syrus to shatter, "But I do know someone who does. Let me give them a call." She then opened one of the desk drawer, pulled a cell phone out and began to push some dials on it, before holding it to her ear. Over in the Game Shop, as Yugi took the "Open" sign down and placed up "Staff gone for Lunch, will be back in twenty minutes." After which he headed upstairs to look for something as Joey and Tristan brought some fast food from down the block.
"Man, it has been a busy few days." Joey commented.
"I agree with you there, Joey." Tristan said, placing the final bag of food down, "I'm not the only one thinking of missing Mrs. Kaitos' cooking."
"You are not the only one Tristan." Kron spoke up, "But her pregnancy is closing into it's final stage, so she can't really do anything."
"Oh, don't worry too much about it youngster.' Solomon replied from the couch, before groaning softly.
"Yugi! Have you found your grandfather's therapeutic back pillow?!"
"I've looked everywhere for it, Téa!" he called down, before coming down the stairs, "I can't even find the blanket we use as a backup pillow for Grampa!"
Krono, upon hearing this groans out and facepalms himself, before standing up and walked to the Living room, "Give me a second." He said as he held an arm out. He took a deep breath before a ring of his Black Flame appeared and through it, a portal to his and Saffira's bedroom.
"What the?!" everyone gasped out, seeing through the portal and seeing a small mound of blankets and pillows on the bed, before a body began to shift and look at them.
"Krono?" Saffira asked, with a slight groan, "What is it?"
"Saffira, you wouldn't happen to have a blanket and pillow that belong to Yugi, would you?" he asked her.
Saffira groaned out laying her head down again, "Krono," she groaned, "you know when I was pregnant with Draco, I made a nest."
"I'm aware, Saffira." He replied, "But the pillow you took, Solomon needs it for his back."
Saffira groans as she lightly shifts herself, "I'm currently laying on it." She said.
Krono sighed out as he rubs his eyes, "Well," Solomon spoke up, "I may not know how pregnancy for a dragon might go, but I do know it can be uncomfortable for anyone."
"Gramps?" Joey asked, "Are you saying—"
"Yes I am." He replied, "It's just like you youngsters said, I do need to take it easy until my back is fully healed, and there really isn't anything for me to do at the moment, and it's clear she does need it more at the moment."
Saffira lets out a sigh as she seemed to finally relax, "Thank you, Mr. Muto." She said with a tired smile, "You'll get your pillow and blanket back when I'm done with them. You have my word on that."
"Get some rest, Saffira." Krono told her, "I'll be home in a few hours." After slowly clenching his fist, the Spirit Gate collapse and closed off.
"If you can travel using dat Spirit Gate," Joey stated, "why don't you use it to get to work?"
"Look at it this way, Joey." Krono said, just as Téa's cell phone started to ring, "Before knowing I'm a Duel Spirit, and knowing how far I live, would you question how I got to work before everyone else, besides Yugi and Téa?"
"He does have a point there." Tristan said, "I would have found that weird."
"Hey Joey!" Téa called out, "Mai's on the phone, must be the Academy's lunch hour as well, since she called from her cell." Joey quickly got up and went to Téa as she hands him the phone.
"Hey, Mai." Joey happily said, "Work been going well?"
"Still dealing with entitled brats." Mai replied, "Listen Hun, I have a favor to ask."
"A favor?"
"Yes, do you still have that Spell Card, Elemental Sabre?"
"Hold on. I'll look through my deck to see if it's still in there." He hands Téa the phone as he takes his deck from the box on his belt and begins to look through it.
"Hey Mai?" Téa asked, "Why is Joey looking through his deck?"
"Oh, I just asked if he still had a specific card in there is all." Mai replied, "Remember when I told you all about the Shadow Riders?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, as of now, Draco and the others have defeated two of them, but the second Shadow Rider beat two of the Key Bearers as Draco and his friends are called, and the third Shadow Rider just beat another one. He happened to be the best in the Ra Boy Dorm."
"I found it!" Joey exclaimed.
"Found what, Joey? Your Brain?" Tristan joked.
"Mai asked if I still had a card in my deck, Tristan!"
"Téa, you can put me on speaker phone." Mai said, "I heard Joey found it." Téa pressed a button on her phone and placed it on the table, "You found it, Hun?"
"Yeah, I did." He proudly announced, "Now, why did you want to know if I still had it?"
"It seems that Draco is looking for a card that works well against Warrior or Earth Monsters." Mai replied, "And your Elemental Sabre is all I can think of."
"And how do you know Draco is looking for such a card?" Krono asked, slightly concern.
"Easy." Mai replied, "Syrus came by and told me."
"So, when does he need the card?" Tristan asked, "If you ask me the sooner the better."
Everyone at the Shop gave Tristan a deadpan stare, "Tristan?" Krono asked, "Did you literally forget what I did just a few seconds ago?"
A sweat drop appeared on Tristan before sheepishly chuckling, "Mai, prepare yourself." Krono said, stretching his arm our again.
Back at the Academy, "Prepare for what?" Mai asked, before Syrus let out a startled yelp as a black ring of fire started to form in the room and a Spirit Gate opened showing the living room of the Game Shop, getting Mai to slightly exclaim and Syrus started to shiver.
"Joey, the card." Krono said, getting his attention and handed it over to him. Krono then approached the Gate and passed his hand and card through it and towards Syrus, "Here, Syrus. Give this to Draco when you seem him."
"Actually, Hun." Mai said standing up and ending the call on her cell as Téa did the same, "I'll take the card and call Draco down here." Krono handed her the card, and then closed the Gate.
"To be fair, Hun." Mai told her student, "That was also my first time seeing that." She then pulls her Academy PDA out and proceed to send a message to Draco. In the dorm room Draco growls out in frustration, after looking in the card database for a fifth time and found nothing to help and slammed his hands into the desk, before letting out a loud groan and held his left hand.
"Damn it!" he snarled, before his PDA began to chime, which he didn't hear as he tried to relax his left hand, "This is going to extend the healing of the hand."
"Hey, Draco?" hearing a voice behind him, Draco turned to the triple bunk bed, seeing Vulok leaning against the frame.
"Vulok, I don't have the time or the patience to deal with your entitlement!"
"How about being a smartass?" the Fire Prince asked, "That thing of yours is going off, and frankly it's annoying."
Draco finally noticed his PDA chiming and pulls it out of his blazer pocket, checking who messaged him, "Draco Kaitos, report to Mai Wheeler's office."
Draco groans out, before standing up and heading to the door, "What did you do?' Vulok asked, "I mean she never calls you, does she?"
"Not in the mood, Vulok!" Draco snarled as he left the room and began his way to the Main Building, as both Slasher Brothers following him, "No, you two stay here with Mana." Draco told them, they each looked at each other before standing still as Draco turned and continued. Ignoring the many stares from the Obelisks- who still believe the building of the colosseum was all his doing- he stood by the door and sighed out before knocking.
"Come on in, Hun." Mai said from the other side.
As Draco walked in, he gave a surprised glace, seeing Syrus in the room, "Syrus? What are you doing here?" Draco asked, "You didn't get into trouble, did you?"
"Don't worry, Hun." Mai replied, "Syrus isn't in any trouble, but he is the reason I called you down here."
Draco looks at Syrus confused as his little buddy started to panic, "The reason I called you down here, was Syrus told me you were looking for a card to deal with Warrior or Earth Monsters without battling them?"
"Draco sighed out as he rubs his eyes remember the long minutes he wasted, "Mrs. Wheeler, I do appreciate yours and Syrus' help, but I have spent who knows how long looking for such a card."
"That is the problem." Mai said, getting Draco's and Syrus' attention, "You were just looking for a card for those types alone." She smiles as she then holds the card she received earlier, "What you should have search for was an Equip Spell to destroy any Monster Attribute. As long as you are willing to pay for it with your own Monster that is."
Draco raised a brow more confused than before, Mai motioned with her hand. Draco walked to the desk as Mai placed the cade down and slid it to him. Draco slowly reached for the card, picked it up and flipped it over.
"Elemental Sabre?" Draco asked, "I never heard of this card."
"Well, most wouldn't." Mai replied, "My dorky husband got that card from Pegasus himself. It was a card he just created and wanted to see it in action."
"So, he gave it to Joey?' Draco asked, getting a nod from the teacher, "But what does it do?"
"Well, to give an example," Mai replied, "Joey and I were in a Couples Duel Tournament, we were against a couple whose cards worked well in battle."
"Ok?" Draco replied, still confused.
"By that, I mean their Monsters couldn't be destroyed by attacks." Mai continued, "However, Joey figured out what Elemental Sabre does, after he Equipped it to his Gearfried the Swordmaster, which destroyed one of the three monsters they had, he then tributed a Monster with an Attribute that matched one of their Monsters, in doing so—"
"He destroyed it without battling it." Draco suddenly spoke up, finally understanding what the card did.
"So, all I have to do is Tribute Dinok or Heimwahl for this card and Tania can't do anything!"
"That is correct, but you need something to protect it if you want it to beat her."
Draco quickly walked around the desk and hugged his teacher, getting both Syrus and Mai to look shocked, before she smiles and returns the hug.
"I do want the card back after your duel with her." Mai told him, to which Draco's eyes snapped open, realizing something.
"Hold on." He said, "You said this was your husband's card, right?"
"I did."
"Did you have the whole time? Like on day one of school?"
"No, I didn't."
"So, when did you get it from him?"
"I few minutes, before calling you."
Draco looking confused again, "I told you, I asked him to give me the card after Syrus told me, you were looking for a card to help you." Mai explained.
"How did you manage to get the card in less than 24-hours?" Draco asked, getting Mai only give a smirk and a raised brow. Draco thought for a moment, before it clicked, "My Dad?"
"Yup." She replied, "You know, for how smart you are, you tend to forget the most common things when you are stressed."
"Well, rational thinking does tend to be the last thing you do when stressed out." He replied.
"And like I said, I want that card back when you are done." Mai repeated.
"You'll get it back." Draco replied, "I never gone back on my word."
"Does that have something to do with your bloodline?" Mai joked.
"Maybe." Draco replied just as jokingly. He and Syrus left the room and began to run back to the Dorm room, once there, Syrus caught Mana up on the situation as Draco went to the room and grabbed his Duel Disk, slipped the card into his deck and gave it a quick shuffle, after leaving the room, Mana just finished sending a text back to the group.
"Alright, let's head back to that colosseum." Draco said, smirking. The three Slifers as well as the two Dragon Guards headed back into the forest towards the rest of the group and to duel the Shadow Rider. Over at the colosseum, specifically inside of it, many of the Amazoness were around a door, hearing frustrated yelling, and the sound of objects getting hit and the sound of objects breaking.
"Geez, she's not taking this well at all." The Fighter spoke up.
"Of course, she is!" the Princess snapped, "That dumb male wasn't worthy of being even a Trainee's husband. It deserved to be beaten and thrown out like the filth it is."
Another loud crash was heard, and the women slightly jumped back as the object hits the door, they sighed out as the door didn't shatter, "Hey?" the Archer spoke up, "What about that male that blinded us with that light?"
The others began to think, before the Princess began to give off a smile, "Now if that happens to be something in that male's bloodline, then the daughters he can give one of us would be the strongest an Amazoness as ever been." She said, "not to mention—"
"Hold your tongue, my Daughter." They all jumped and looked down the hall seeing their Queen walking towards them, "I know exactly what you are thinking. And my advice, is to not do anything."
"But Mother!" the Princess slightly whined, "You told me I have to find a strong male and if that—"
"If I'm right about that boy," she said, interrupting her daughter, "his bloodline could be connected to a dear friend of mine, back when I was the Princess."
"Then shouldn't that be more of a reason to make him MY husband?!" the Princess practically demanded.
"Not if he is already promise to another female!" the Queen snapped which caused the hallway to go silent, before the door suddenly flew between all the women and smashed into the opposite wall, causing them to slightly scream, all heads turned to the now open hole, seeing the Tigress quickly sulk out of the room as low as she could with her tail tucked between herself as she sulked away, right before Tania appeared, panting loudly and heavily while dripping with sweat.
"Your Highness," Tania panted out, "with all due respect, I'm in no mood to hear everyone talking outside of my chambers."
"Well, you know some of our Sisters love a good a gossip." The Queen replied giving a stern glare at the small group, with some of them sheepishly looking away, "It is a shame that male wasn't strong enough."
Before they could continue, a younger Amazoness ran down the hallway, strapped to her was a shiny bronze chain, both ends having a large, spiked end on each end, stopped in front of their Queen as she panted out and tried to speak.
"Trainee, I have told you to even out your breathing, otherwise you you'll lose all of your strength and stamina!" an Amazoness told her, wielding a chain herself, but only had one spiked end and having a crescent blade around the spike.
Th-that m-male is back!" the Trainee gasped.
"The male that Tania banished?" the Princess asked, getting Tania to groan.
"No, the male that attacked us the other day!" the Trainee corrected, "The one- the one that ordered those- those Dragons!"
All of the Amazoness looked at each other, before running down the hall, heading to the battle arena. Once there, they saw Draco and some of the Dragon Guards standing in the center. The Queen looked to the seating area and saw the rest of his group there, with other Guards.
"What the hell do you want, Male?!" the Princess demanded.
"It's not to have a shouting match with a spoiled brat!" Draco shouted back, the Princess looked shocked and disgusted, before the Swords Woman takes her sword out, in response Kinbok and the Slasher Brothers took hold of their swords, "Don't." Draco ordered them, then turned to the Amazoness, "I'm here to duel Tania."
The Amazoness glared and some even growled, as Tania stomped forward, crossing her arms in front of her chest, "And by what rights do you think you have to demand a challenge me?!"
I have two rights, actually." Draco replied, as he reached into his shirt and pulled out his Shadow Charm and Spirit Key, "One is I have a Spirit Key you seek."
"That is your only right you have, you Male scum!" the Princess spat out.
"My second right!" Draco slightly roared, "Is by my bloodline. My birth right!"
"You have no birth right! Filthy Males—"
"Hold your tongue, Daughter!" The Amazoness Queen ordered, getting a surprised stare, before turning her attention to Draco, "For you to have a birth right to challenge any of us, your mother has to be the one of authority power."
"Does it count if my mother happens to be the current Dragon Queen?"
The Amazoness warriors grew quiet, before the Archer slightly scoffed and stepped forward, "You dare speak in such a manner?!" she demanded, "I have seen the Dragon Queen, and she—"
"Blue scales?" Draco asked interrupting her, "White underbelly? Silver white hair? Feathered wings? But more importantly, being guarded by any of the White Dragon species?"
The Archer stood frozen as Draco described not only his own mother but also what would be guarding her, The Amazoness Queen looked over to him, "How is it you described the current Dragon Queen as well as the type of species of Dragon that would guard her?"
Draco rolled his eyes in annoyance, before activating his Duel Disk and the pointed to Tania, "Tania! Champion of the Amazoness! I, Draco Kaitos, Prince of Dragons, son of Saffira, Queen of Dragons! Challenge you to a duel!"
The Amazoness were shocked, not only did a male ignore their Queen, but declared a challenge.
"And if there is anything, my Mother taught me about your 'Amazon Ways'," Draco stated, "Is if a Male challenges one of you, if you turn it down; you'll be shamed."
Tania glared at Draco, before engaging her Duel Disk, "I'll show you the meaning of shame!" she roared out, before the rest of the Amazoness returned to the seating area around a Throne as the Dragon Guards vanished.
"DUEL"

Tania LP: 4000
Tania drew her first card, and gave a slight wicked smile, "My first monster is Amazoness Swords Woman!" a fierce and familiar woman appeared on to her field wielding her blade.

"Oh great." Draco muttered, "The one monster I didn't want to face this early in the Duel."
"And I activate the Field Spell!" Tania shouted, grabbing one card, and her blade like Duel Disk slightly extended, "the Filed Spell, Amazoness Arena!" Once the card was slid into the slot and the small extended part of her Duel Disk retreated, back into it.
"She's going all out this time." The Archer softly spoke.
"Yeah, that damn Male is going to get what he deserves for disrespecting us!" the Princess yelled.
"One more outburst from you, and I'll send you to your chambers, Daughter." The Queen spoke up, as a large metal frame appeared around the entire arena, forming a large cage. Draco looked around slightly confused, to which the others noticed.
"Hey, Draco?!" Syrus called out.
"Yeah?!"
"Do you know what that card does?!"
"Not at all." Draco replied, "This is the first time I heard of it!"
"Well, I can think of it as bad news!" Chazz stated, "Now it looks like you're in a death match cage!"
"Yeah, I notice that too." He replied.
"You'll see what this Field does on my next turn." Tania told Draco. He drew his looked through his hand and had a slight twinged of fear. Having Kinbok, Zooruvhun, Silziigaaf, Kendov, and Monster Reborn.
"Oh, Shit!" he thought, "This is the worst hand I have ever started with." He then drew his card, and sighed in relief, "Alright, all I can do is sent this Monster face down."
"Only one Monster?" Crowler questioned, "He must have started with a very bad hand." Syrus, Mana, and Alexis looked at each other, worried about what Crowler stated. Tania drew her card, giving another smile.
"I Summon Amazoness Tiger!" She yelled, as a battle-scarred tiger appeared and snarled out.

"Crap, that's right." Draco muttered, "That card gets 400 Attack Points for each of your 'Amazoness' Monsters."
"That's right." Tania told him, "And if you, your defense will keep you safe then you have forgotten my Swords Woman's Special Ability. Attack his Monster, my Swords Woman!" Her warrior rushed forward, taking hold of her sword, leap into the air, having her blade over her head, before letting out a battle cry and swung the sword down, slashing the face down card, revealing a very familiar red and white dragon, with its head severed from the body before vanishing.
"Wait a second." Chazz spoke up, "That was Masked Dragon!"
"So what?" Tania mocked.
"How about the fact I can get a new Dragon Monster out to the Field that has 1500 or less Attack Points?" Draco mocked backed, as his deck shot one card out, then shuffled as he pulled it from the deck, "And this one fits that requirement easily. I summon Golem Dragon!"
The replacement Dragon was a rather large brown Dragon, its entire body compose of nothing but boulders, with sharp claws and fangs, glowing red eyes and the front legs were bulky, as it slightly sat down and slammed it's legs down in a protective stance, growling menacingly.

"What?!" Tania gasped, seeing the new Dragon's defensive power out number her tiger's attack, "Fine, my turn ends."
"At least that gave Draco some breathing room." Alexis said.
"But if Tania gets another Amazoness Monster out, that Tiger will be stronger." Mana pointed.
"Oh, that's my Tania~." Bastion said nearly dream-like, "She will always—"
Bastion was cut off as Syrus suddenly bonked his head, surprising everyone, "Would actually start thinking, Bastion?!" he yelled, "You know Draco is doing this to help you!"
"I never asked for his help, Syrus!" Bastion yelled back.
"Wait a moment." Crowler spoke up, "I never recall that Slacker asking any of you if you needed help. He just did it, without asking, correct?" He got a nod from, Alexis and the three Slifers. Draco drew his one card and gave it a glace, before raising his brow.
"Huh, Dragon Guard Armory." He thought, "I haven't used this card since I was six. Damn, what did it do again?!"
"What's the hold up?" Tania taunted, "If you don't hurry up, your Duel Disk will start your count down, for when your turn is skipped."
Draco's snapped back to the Duel, before he chuckled, as he looked at his hand, "You know," he said, "next time don't say anything."
"What was that?!"
"The card I drew, I was trying to remember what it did, since it's been ten years since I used it." Draco added the Spell to his hand and picked another card out, "But thanks to your remark, I remember I have this in my hand. Monster Reborn!"
"He had that card in his hand the whole time?!" Tania thought.
"I revive, Masked Dragon!" the red and white Dragon returned to the Field and seemed to crack its neck from the last attack, "However, he's not sticking around. He was helpful to get Golem Dragon out, but I needed a Tribute to bring someone else out." Draco looked over to the Dragon, as it gave a nod, following the orders of its future ruler, "I tribute Masked Dragon, in order to summon; Silziigaaf, the Dragon Guard of Souls!"
The Masked Dragon was consumed by a pillar of wailing souls, before it vanished and the very sinister dark armor wearing Guard slowly rose to his feet as a lone soul float nearby, before he stretched out his right arm and tool hold of the soul, which in turn transformed into his wicked twin spiraling blade.

"And now, time to return the favor. Silziigaaf, attack her Tiger! Soul Slice!"
The Gatekeeper charged forward, his heavy armored feet, leaving imprints into the ground as each step he took, felt like shaking the small area he stood, before taking his blade into both hands and sliced through the opposing Tiger. The Tiger then became a soul itself and was then absorbed into Silziigaaf's blade.

"What did you do to my Tiger?!" Tania demanded.
"That is Silziigaaf's Special Ability." Draco replied, "Any Monster he battles is absorbed into his sword and removed from the Duel, and he gets 400 extra Attack for each Monster he battles."
"So, if Tania attacks with her Swords Woman?" the Amazoness Archer questioned.
"She will deal that worthless Male damage but will lose her best offensive card for the whole match!" The princess stated, "That damn Male! He thinks he has her out matched!"
Tania growled, drawing her card, before chuckling lightly, "I'll admit. You nearly had me there."
"What do you mean 'nearly'?" Draco asked.
"I mean I just drew the card that prevents you from removing my cards from the game! I activate the Continuous Spell, Shaman's Protection!" The Spell as it appeared on the Field showed the Amazoness Shaman casting a spell that gave the Fighter and Paladin o the card a protective glow.
"Another card I haven't heard?" Draco asked, "So, what exactly does it do?"
"Well, it protects my Amazoness from your Monsters Abilities and from being destroyed once per battle." She replied, "And now, I can show you the power of my Arena! Swords Woman attack that Armored bastard!"
The Swords Woman charged at Silziigaaf and leap into the air ready to attack the Guard, but suddenly the Golem Dragon got in front of Silziigaaf and harden its body as the sword slammed into its head and broke the blade.
"What the?!" the Amazoness that watched the Duel gasped.
"Golem Dragon prevents you from attacking any of my other Dragons!" Draco explained, "So, I'm afraid you have to keep attacking him until you can destroy him."
"Hmph!" Tania huffed, "You still get the damage done—"
"I didn't forget." Draco replied, as he looks up at the sword shard, spun in the air and sliced at his left arm as he groans softly.

"And now.' Tania chuckled as her body slightly glow and an astral projection of herself appeared in front of her.
Tania LP: 3900-3800
"Uh, what the fuck?" Draco asked, extremely confused.
"The Arena, let's our souls do battle." Tania told him, "We can pay 100 Life Points to try and dish out the same amount of damage dealt in the Battle. Of course, you can try to defend and counterattack."
"Alright, you ask for it." Draco sighed as he started to glow as well, Tania smirked, getting for the beat down she was going to deliver, only for the glow to move behind Draco and grow larger and took the form of a Dragon, mostly resembling a Blue-Eyes with some parts resembling the Red-Eyes. Once taking a stable form, the "Soul" of Draco roared out, causing him to look back and up to his "Soul", "Huh. So, that's what I would look like if I was feral." He simply said.
Tania slightly glared before her Soul launched forward, rearing a fist back to punch Draco's Soul as it just snarled and lunged its head, taking the punch before slamming into Tania's Soul and the force caused her to slam into the ground, causing the real Tania to groan in pain.
Draco LP: 3500-3400

"Hmm, so the damage we deal out can be split between us based on how our Souls hit each other." Draco pointed out.
"You cheat!" the Amzoness Princess yelled out, getting both Draco and Tania to look at her, "You never said your soul was a Dragon!"
"Excuse you!" Draco yelled back, "First of all; How as I suppose to know what my soul would look like in a Field Spell I never heard about?! And second of all; I told you, I'm the Dragon Prince! That alone, should have tipped you off I have Dragon as my soul!" Both Souls returned to the bodies they materialize from, Tania placed one monster face down, ending her turn.
Draco drew his next card, and smiled lightly, "I activate, Pot of Greed!" he announced, drawing two more cards and chuckled, "I found a way to stop you attacking me."
"Doubt it." Tania remarked.
"I summon Heimwahl, the Dragon Guard Blacksmith in Defense mode!" Draco placed his third Monster down as the anvil and the Blacksmith appeared as he just smirked at the Amazoness.

"You think that'll keep you safe?" Tania mocked, "You just gave me a better target to damage you."
"I did say, I stopped you from attacking." Draco remarked, getting Tania to raise a brow, "Heimwahl is a Dragon Monster, Golem Dragon will prevent you from attacking him, and in turn the Shield on Heimwahl, will prevent you from attacking Golem Dragon."
Tania looked as if she was trying to process what Draco told her, "Allow me to break it down for you, Lass." Heimwahl spoke up, getting Tania to growl softly as another Male spoke to her, "The only kind of attack you can declare are direct attacks to Draco's Life Points. As long as I have the Shield and remain in Defense Mode and Golem Dragon stays on the field, you can't declare a battle against us!"
"What?!" Tania gasped, "Y-you caught me in a protection loop?!" "Something is not right!" she thought, "How the hell is he not distracted and make rash decisions?! I had the other Male eating out of the palm of my hand! But this one, he's not looking at me as a Female, he's looking at me like I'm HIS PREY!"
"You seem confused over there!" Draco called out, "My turned ended, you don't have much time for your turn."
Tania looked down at her Duel Disk showing a "60" where her Life Points would be display and quickly drew her card, stopping the little count down, "I Summon my Aamzoness Paladin!" He second Monster took the field as it stared down at the three Dragons, before readying her blade.

"No, with this!" Tania yelled slamming a card under the Swords Woman, "Amazoness Seduction!"
The Amazoness Swords Woman burst in a pinkish aura, causing Heimwahl and Draco to groan out, "Oh great." Draco groaned, "You can't seduce me yourself, so you are trying to seduce my Monsters?"
"I'm just giving you a taste of your own medicine. My turn ends."
Draco drew his card, and smiled at the Dragon Guard he could summon, "Oi! Lad!" Heimwahl spoke up, Draco looked from his hand to the Blacksmith looking back at him, "What Heimwahl?"
"Any reason you didn't use the Armory your last turn?" the Blacksmith asked.
"I haven't used the card in ten years.' Draco replied, "I don't remember what it does."
"To sum it up." Heimwahl replied, "With a price of not using a card the turn you use the Armory, you could get a card you are searching for."
Draco looked down at the Spell with the image of an overgrown armory, before his eyes flickered as he remembered what it did, "Alright, I activate the Spell card, Dragon Guard Armory!"
Holograms of the Equip Spells in his deck appeared in front of him, and he picked three of them, which the three he selected enlarged and the rest vanished. The three cards began to rotate, increasing speed, before they shot to Draco's left, in front of him, and to his right.
"Alright, Tania!" Draco yelled out, "Pick one of the three before me! The one you pick is added to my hand, and the other two are returned to the deck!"
Tania looked at the three cards, "You think you're clever?" she taunted, "It's obvious you picked your best Equip Spells. Not sure why, since all of the damage from my Swords Woman would be giving to you."
"Well, you won't know until my next turn." Draco replied, "Now hurry and pick one."
"If it only speeds up your defeat, the card on the right!"
Draco smiled as the holograms vanished as he grabbed the card from his deck and reshuffled, "Alright that's it for my turn." He said.
Tania drew her card, and carefully looked through her hand, "I seem to have forgotten this card, Amazoness Fighting Spirit!" Sliding the next card into an open slot, "And to finish my turn, I summon Amazoness Fighter!"

"What?!"
"Do it!"
Rahzun growled softly and sheathed the large sword back behind him and took the sword from his hip from the sheath, "I now activate, Elemental Sabre!"
Draco slid the card under Rahzun, as the sword he wielded changed from a single-edge blade to a rapier sword, with the hand guard and blade being like a clear glass.
"How the hell am I going to kill with this?!" Rahzun asked.
Draco looked over to the Golem Dragon as it stares back to him, giving out a huff as it nods its head and in return Draco gives a nod and smirk, "Alright, It's time to use Golem Dragon to go on the offensive!" Draco said.
"Has that Slacker lost his mind?!" Crowler gasped out, "That card is more use for a defensive use rather than attacking!"
"I agree with you Dr. Crowler." Alexis stated, "But maybe that Spell Draco used has an Ability that needs a Monster."
"I tribute Golem Dragon to unlock the Elemental Sabre's true power!" Draco announced, as the Golem Dragon turned into a beam of light, shooting skyward then narrow down entering the Soldier's new sword. The Sabre's hand guard turned into a more solid brown as the fragile glass blade became more of a single shard of stone craved into a blade, "And to finish this Duel, I now Special Summon Kinbok, Captain of the Dragon Guard!"

"Rahzun! Attack the Swords Woman!" Draco ordered.
"Are you insane?!" Rahzun questioned.
"The Young Lord gave you an order, Soldier!" Kinbok told him, "Carry it out!"
Rahzun looked nervous before glaring over and began to charge towards her, as he positions his blade and thrust it forward to impale her as the Swords Woman, used her own sword to block and hold it off. Tania began to chuckle before letting out a small gasp as her Swords Woman's sword started to turn into stone and spread across the blade, then on to her warrior. The Swords Woman turned into a statue of herself before Rahzun pushed harder and shattered the petrified Amazoness.

"That is the power of the Elemental Sabre." Draco replied, "After I tribute Golem Dragon, the Sabre will now instantly destroy your EARTH Monsters, without applying damage. As long as Rahzun has that Sabre, you can't attack him with your Amazoness Deck!"
Tania looked shocked as a Male not only resisted her charms, but also overpower her in the field of battle, "Kinbok! Attack the Paladin! Shattering Claymore Slash!"
Kinbok took a better grip on his large blade and charged to the other Aamzoness as she began to glow lightly, before Kinbok slammed his blade into the Paladin's blade, causing the glow to vanish as soon as Kinbok jumped back from his attack.

"And now I think I'll use your Field's power!" Draco called out, "After all, you did say any of can do it when we deal damage."

This time the glow of Draco's Soul appeared in front of him, and took the form he took on Duel Spirit Day, letting a battle cry as his wings spread out and took a stance. Tania growled as her Soul emerged from her and took a stance as well. Both of them dashed forward, Draco's Soul lowered down and landed sudden kick to Tania's Soul, to retaliate she threw a punch down, hitting his Soul across the face, Draco whipped and wrapped his tail around her ankle, pulled back and caused her to slam down hard before landing his own punch to her face, before Tania manage to raise her leg and knee Draco in the stomach. After the blows were exchanged the Souls returned to their bodies as each of them groaned out from the damage, they each took.

"Silziigaaf, attack the Paladin as well!" The Gatekeeper charged forward, taking his blade and sliced the Paladin from her left shoulder, across her chest and to her right hip, causing the warrior to cry out in pain before shattering to pieces.

"One more time!" Draco roared out, before his Soul emerged once more but burst with his Flame.
Draco LP: 3100-3000
"Ok, that needs explaining." Draco stated.
"By dealing 1000 of Battle Damage, you now deal twice the amount of damage if you manage to hit me that is." Tania explained.
"Wait a minute." Mana spoke up, "If Draco can land eight successful hits—"
"He will win!" Syrus shouted in excitement.
"Hmm, eight hits." Draco thought, "I guess I have to pull out the big guns for that then." Tania's Soul appeared taking the stance from their last battle, however Tania looked nervous as she watched as the arms of Draco's Soul erupted in his Flame and then took off charging towards her, as she took off towards him as well. Tania noticed Draco lowering down, in which she positioned her arms to guard her chest and mid-section, but suddenly Draco's Soul lunged forward slamming his head into hers with a headbutt, stunning her, and then unleashed a flaming blow after blow on her until she dropped her guard and proceed to knee her in the stomach and then grabbed her head and roared out, slamming her head first into the ground. Sending her soul back to her as she yells out and was flung back into the colosseum wall, before everything from their duel vanished, expect for the Guards Draco had summoned.

"That was for Bastion." Draco growled. Before walking up to Tania as she slowly rose to her feet and chuckled softly.
"You know," she said, "I only agreed to join the Shadow Riders to find a strong enough husband. But it turns out you are too strong, even for me."
"That is because he is truly the Son of Saffira." The Amazoness Queen spoke up as she stands from her throne, "That fire his Soul had, was the same as hers."
"So, you are the same Amazoness my Mother told me about when I was younger." Draco told her, "She told me she was friends with their Princess and had to use her White Flare to escape a Rabid Horseman and so Sophitia could fight him off to get them to safety."
"And as such, I should have treated you with more respect." She replied.
"And speaking of respect." Draco said before bowing down slightly, "I do apologize for my harsh words."
"It was called for." The Queen replied, "Now, What is it you wish of us. You did win after all."
Before Draco could answer Silziigaaf picked up the Shadow Charm Gauntlet form the ground and began to walk away, "Hey, Silziigaaf!" Draco called out, getting the dark armor dragon to turned around, "First of all that is going into the vault! And second;" he looked back at the Amazoness Queen, "Were any of you aware of the three Sacred Beasts? Which is what Tania was helping to unseal?"
"We are aware." The Queen replied.
"So, you know you were helping to destroy my world as well as the Spirit World?" Draco asked. The Amazoenss looked confused and looked at each other and the Queen was shocked, "I don't won't this to be a stand of dishonor for your tribe, I would like for you to return to the Spirit and either seek out anyone from the White Temple or Black Fortress and agree to be allies to fight them if they do get unseal."
The Queen sighed out before giving a smile to Draco, "Well, if that's it. I'll agree to your request. We were trying to expand our territory into the Human World, but I can see it is your territory. She then turns to the Amazoness that followed her, "We are returning to the Village! Leave nothing behind!" Draco and his group began to leave the colosseum, and noticed it was slowly vanishing as well. Once they were in the forest, they witness the entire structure vanish and the aera where it stood returned to an untouched forest. Kinbok took the Gauntlet from the Gatekeeper before they all return to the Spirit World. The group went about the rest of the day as normal, relaxing and all. It wasn't until the Curfew Hour, Draco had an urge to head out for a short walk and followed the path to their training/hang-out spot, and noticed Bastion sitting there, staring out to the sea.
"What are you doing here, Bastion?" Draco asked.
"I could ask you the same thing." He replied, "You still think I'm affected by Tania?"
"Well, Kroluhaal said you were clear of any magic." Draco stated, "If that's the case, then you actually did love her."
"She was amazing." He sighed out, "But, she would never—"
"Not unless she is reason with." Draco interrupted him, "Hey, Kroluhaal!"
The Mage appeared slightly annoyed, "What is it, Young Lord?!" he slightly snarled, "I'm tiring to perfect a formula and I keep getting—"
"I know." Draco said, "You are still covered in soot."
The Dragon sighed out and rubbed his eyes, "What is it?"
"Is there any way to contact the Amazoness?" Draco asked, "More specifically, Tania?"
"You need to get one of the females for that." The Mage replied, "Since males can't enter their village."
"That's not necessary." A voice spoke up, causing the three of them to jump and look at the pathway leading back to the forest, as Tania stood there, arms crossed, "I had a feeling you needed to speak to me. My Queen doesn't even know I'm here."
"Taking a risk of banishment, by doing that." Draco replied, "I'll get to the point, Bastion is strong."
"How so?" Tania asked, "He isn't fit—"
Physically, he is above average built." Draco said interrupting her, "However, mentally he is the smartest student here, I'm a close second. If you would give him a chance, and get to know him, you would have seen strength isn't just muscles."
"He is correct." Kroluhaal added, "If you gave this boy a chance, and did have a daughter or son—"
"As an Amazoness Warrior we would—" Tania began before the Blue Dragon raised a finger.
"Humans are unpredictable." He stated, "Your genes could make a daughter, or his genes would overpower yours and you could have a daughter or son."
"What he is saying." Draco said, "Your physical strength and Bastions mental strength, your child would have been strong and intelligent. That child could have been trained in two ways and could have trained to read movements of the opponent and be unbeatable in hand-to-hand combat."
Tania looked surprised and thought it over, "I-I never thought of it like that before."
"Not to mention." Draco continued, "Bastion is completely smitten by you." The statement made both his friend and the Amazoness go red in the face as he stepped aside letting them walk up to each other.
"Is-is that true?" Tania asked with an ashamed stutter.
"I wish he didn't just go out and say it." Bastion admitted.
"I think Gahlot is rubbing off on you, Young Lord." Kroluhaal muttered.
"She does have that effect after a while." Draco replied.
Tania looked at the Ra Student, as he did the same. It didn't take long before she took his hand, and causing Bastion to gasp, realizing he could feel her, before he leans closer to her, then out of nowhere, they both kissed passionately.
"WHOA!" Draco slightly yelled, taken aback, "Ok! Didn't need to see that right away."
"With you on that, Young Lord!" the Mage agreed, the two broke the kiss and Bastion chuckled lightly.
"Well, you can't really blame me." He said, "I've been wanting to do that. However—"
"I think we need to what you would say in this world, take it slow?" Tania asked.
"Yes." Draco said, "We are still in High School. We don't start a family until we are done."
"By the way." Tania said, "I heard my Queen telling her daughter that you could have been betrothed to another."
"Not in that way." Draco told her, "But I am in a relationship. So, I am spoken for."
"But there is another problem." Bastion said, getting the three to look at him, "How am I going to allow Tania to stay with me? If she remains a Spirit without a card—"
"Don't you have a class of Card Design?" Kroluhaal asked, "Just use that class to make her card, and she can enter it, making it into a true Duel Monsters Card."
"Yeah, that could work." Draco said, "But then you need cards to make your own Amazoness Deck."
"That will be no problem." Bastion said with a smirk, "It won't take me long to assemble the deck."
Draco chuckled and smiled at his friend, before giving him a playful punch on his arm. Kroluhaal allowed Tania to stay at their Guild until her card was finished. Both of the boys made it back to the Slifer Dorm and Parted ways as bastion headed back to the Ra Dorm. However, in an unknown location shrouded in darkness.
"She has failed!" A demonic voice snarled.
"True, but she did manage to snag a key." The smooth voice spoke up.
"If I recall," a cocky voice said, "the last of us did better by getting two keys."
"The Key Bearers and us are currently even out." The distorted voice spoke, "We need a new plan to get the Keys!"
"I do have an idea.' The smooth voice said, "What if we infiltrate their Academy? Act like we were there the whole time and when they least expect it, we snatch the keys from them and have them duel us, while we hold the Keys?"
"That hasn't been done before." A second distorted voice stated, "It could work but if it doesn't, what's the backup plan?"
"Harm the ones that boy cares for the most!" the Demonic voice snarled.
"ENOUGH!" the first distorted voice roared, "Until we agree on a plan," the figure looks over to another, "return to your post."
"As you wish." The figure replied and vanished form the ever-shrinking group, "Now, then finish explaining." The smooth voice gave a chuckle.
