A/N: Here is Chapter 26! I hope you enjoy!

All was quiet in Team Dracos's HQ. The Team Dracos grunts were sleeping in their area and the only ones awake was Silva. Silva was sitting down as he was looking at a book. He then turned around as he opened the next chapter. He grinned as he turned around, looking at the novel. He grinned as he turned around, looking at the trash in front of him. It was tons of computers, cans and garbage that were just lying around. He turned around as he noticed Darcie and Jake hauling another bag of junk.

"So, what is the point of carrying all of this junk? We stole half of this crap from the Slateport Waste Plant," Darcie exclaimed.

"To create my next beast," said Silva.

He stood up as he closed his eyes. As he put his fingers together. A green aura surrounded him as he looked at the junk.

"Monster Change!"

A flash of green and white light surrounded the junk as it turned into mechanical Garbardor monster. Except the creature had a computer attached to its head with a black and green visor.

"Garbanerd at your service…" he said, tripping and falling to the ground. Darcie looked at the monster and then turned to Silva, "Can we just give up now?"

Silva laughed, "No. Trust me, once you get what we're looking for, Garbanerd will be as smart and not just a piece of trash."

Garbanerd nodded as he looked at them, "I like trash. I like to eat trash and do nothing. I know nothing."

Jake rolled his eyes as he looked at Silva, "You have to be kidding."

"No… and you will go with him," said Silva.

"Uh…," said Jake.

Silva shook his head, "Those are my orders, Jake. Follow them please."

Darcie stood there as she looked at Jake, "I wanna go!"

"No!" shouted Silva, turning to Darcie, "You would ruin it."

Darcie looked at him and then at Jake, "Oh, come on! That's not fair!"

Chapter 26: Forbidden Fruits

Max was cleaning up the desks and tables at Ranger HQ while music was playing in the background. He turned around as he was looking at the TVs, dusting them back and forth as he was looking at the ceiling. Turning around, he heard the door open. Looking up, Seb and the others were walking toward him as they went to take a seat. Max grinned as he turned around to look at them, "Rangers, I am so glad that you are here."

"Is it quick?" asked Rachel, "No offense. I have a rematch with Liza and Tate in two hours and I have to be focused."

"I am sure this will take less time than you think," said Max, "I highly doubt the villains are going to go for the Forbidden Berries."

"Forbidden Berries?" asked Zander, looking at Max, "What's a Forbidden Berry?"

"A Forbidden Berry is almost like the Forbidden Fruit in old texts. When consuming, the consumer knows all knowledge good and evil. However, the berries enhances that and more. It increases executive functioning and brain system knowledge."

"Executive functioning?" asked Grace.

"Basically, the certain things we need to do daily to get us into a routine. Those skills in the brain are enhanced," said Lamar.

"Ah," said Rachel, looking at Lamar, "Then if that's true…"

"Yeah," said Lamar, "We could have some really smart villains. But, I highly doubt they will go after berries."

"Well, I sent Cedric already to do that. He went to go get the berries so that way you and Cedric can analyze them together," said Max, "He should be back any time soon."

The sun was shining on a remote island off the coast of Hoenn. As the ocean waves were crashing up on the shore, Cedric was walking on the island mainland. He was going through the palm trees as he climbed up the mountain. Grinning, he turned around as he was looking at the beautiful pathways.

"I think Reshimé and I need to go to a beautiful island like this when this is over," said Cedric, grinning.

He ran across the passage as he noticed a tree in the middle of the field. He noticed golden berries surrounding them. He then turned around as he revealed his Detector Morpher. Opening the morpher, he saw the hazard level. Cedric nodded as he went to grab a bunch of berries. Grabbing a black bag to put the berries in, Garbanerd pushed him to the ground. Cedric turned around as he went to cover his nose. Garbanerd arrived with Darcie behind him.

"What are you doing here?" asked Cedric.

"I must get the berries so I can get stronger and get Team Dracos to become more intelligent and powerful!" said Garbanerd, cheerfully. Angrily, Darcie kicked him in the stomach, "IDIOT! You don't tell the enemy our true plan."

"And YOU weren't supposed to be here!"

Darcie turned around as Jake arrived with his saber. He turned around as he looked at him, "Now, move ranger!"

"Nope," said Cedric, taking out his Detector Morpher, "Relic Hunters, Start Up!"

A silver aura surrounded him as he transformed into his suit. As he went to take out his Meta Tector, Jake blocked it with his sword. Immediately, Jake swung his saber to strike Cedric. Cedric and Jake went at it, going for the blade. Their weapons clashed with each strike. As the sparks flew across, Jake went through to fight Cedric. Cedric hopped over as he went to strike again. While the two were going at it, Darcie turned around as she looked at Garbanerd.

"Go get the berries!" said Darcie.

"What's a berry?" he asked.

Darcie turned around, rolling her eyes. She sighed as she started walking toward the berries. As she went to reach, blue and yellow beams struck Darcie as she ducked. Looking up, she noticed Zander and Rachel morphed. Grace, Seb and Lamar appeared behind them.

"Oh, look who's here?" asked Seb.

Darcie rolled her eyes as she took out three green marbles, "Draco Grunts!"

Throwing the marbles on the ground, an explosion occurred as a wave of Draco Grunts appeared in front of her. The Draco Grunts came across, swarming like crazy Spearow ready to attack their prey. The rangers began to fight the Draco Grunts with their Hunter Sabers. As the rangers were handling the grunts, Jake and Cedric wrestled around as they tried to fight for the berries. Immediately, Garbanerd went over to get a few berries, only to trip and fall.

"Berries… they look interesting," he said.

"Why, you nincompoop," Jake said, breaking away from Cedric. Jake turned around as he released a Shadow Tag at the ground. Immediately, Jake and Darcie stood together as a green aura surrounded them, disappearing. As the Draco Grunts fell, the other rangers stood together as Cedric turned around, noticing Garbanerd.

"Great, a new monster," said Rachel.

"But, he's not your typical monster," said Cedric, noticing the Shadow Tag. The Shadow Tag had a red aura around it. As Garbanerd went to get up, he climbed up on two feet and went to touch the tag. Quickly, Cedric pushed him out of the way and pulled the trigger. A silver blast hit the tag, causing an explosion. The rangers stood there in response as he turned to the creature.

"He was going to kill me. All I wanted to do was get berries. I have no idea he would…"

"Why don't you just leave?" asked Cedric.

The creature nodded as he turned away. As he walked away, Seb turned around as he went to look at him, "And why are we letting him go?"

"He honestly has a very low IQ. He was made of junk and has no idea that he actually is being used by Jake and Darcie. Plus, why would Jake throw the Shadow Tag at someone?"

Seb placed his hand under his chin, which was covered by the helmet, "Ah, true."

Grace turned around, "Well, we got the berries… and there's a lot."

"Yeah," said Zander, "We should collect a majority of them before Team Dracos gets them."

Rachel sighed as she looked at them, "Fine… but now we have an hour to get back to Mossdeep."

"We will get there," said Lamar, grabbing a bag from Cedric, "Get your berries."

One hour later…

Rachel opened the glass doors as she walked into the Mossdeep Island Gym. As she placed her bag on the ground, she walked over as she headed toward the front of the battlefield. There, Tate and Liza were standing on the other side of the battlefield.

"Sorry I'm late," said Rachel, "I hope you weren't waiting."

"We knew Team Dracos were up to something," said Liza, "That's why we waited."

"Lucky for you, you are our last opponent today," Tate responded, grinning.

On the sidelines, Seb and the others sat down as they were watching the battle. Lamar stood there shaking as he was looking at the battle.

"Alrighty, two on two battle…," said Liza, "Are you ready?"

"I am ready!" said Rachel, taking out her Poké Balls from her belt. Tate and Liza nodded as they took out their Poké Balls.

"Come out, Pelipper, Absol!" shouted Rachel.

"Come out, Solrock!" shouted Tate.

"Let's go, Lunatone!" shouted Liza.

In flashes of light, the Pokémon faced each other on a two on two battle. Rachel stared at Absol and Pelipper. She nodded slowly as she went to raise her finger, "And go!"

"Solrock, use Rock Slide!" Tate shouted.

Immediately, Solrock began to glow a blue aura as rocks started to fall from the sky. Pelliper and Absol quickly dodged it as they charged toward the opponents.

"Lunatone, Psychic on Pelipper!" shouted Liza.

Lunatone used its eyes as a green aura surrounded Pelipper. Pelliper screamed as he caught in the confusion.

"Use Rock Slide again!" shouted Tate.

Rachel turned around as Absol looked at Tate, "Absol, Shadow Claw!"

Dodging the Rock Slide attack, Absol stretched its claw and slashed Solrock. Solrock screamed as it spun across. The rocks disappeared as Absol turned around to attack.

"Now, use Feint Attack!" yelled Rachel.

"Solrock, Take Down!" shouted Tate.

Before Absol went to strike Lunatone, Solrock slammed Absol down. Absol flew across the battlefield, landing on the ground. Absol struggled to get up as she went to strike. Lunatone threw Pelipper across and smacked him to the ground. Pelliper flew up as it headed toward Lunatone.

"Absol, jump up!"

Absol jumped up in the air.

"Pelliper, Surf!"

Immediately, a blast of water emerged from underneath Pelipper. Absol missed the water as it floated toward Lunatone and Solrock.

"Solrock, Lunatone! Psychic!"

Immediately, they stopped the waves. Rachel stood there as she looked at the waves, frozen.

"Absol, you know what to do…," said Rachel.

Absol nodded as it went straight through the water. Lunatone turned around as Absol released its claws, the Shadow Claw struck Lunatone multiple times as it was hit. Lunatone was struggling to keep its psychic power. As it released part of the waves, smacked Lunatone as Lunatone spun and landed on the ground. Lunatone had swirly eyes as it landed on the ground. Solrock turned around as it turned the waves toward Absol. As Solrock released it, the waves went toward Absol.

"Pelipper! Grab Absol!" shouted Rachel.

Floating toward Absol, Pelipper used its wings and carefully grabbed Absol before the wave came across. Tate stood there in response as he turned to Solrock, "Rock Slide!"

Immediately, the rocks emerged again from Solrock.

"Now, release Absol! Absol, Agility!" shouted Rachel.

Absol flashed back and forth between the rocks. As it jumped in front of Solrock, its claws were sharpened.

"Shadow Claw!"

A few black slashes hit Solrock as it stumbled back. Before Solrock could recover, Absol looked at Rachel as she nodded, "Night Slash!"

Flashes of black imagery came across Solrock as Solrock was hit. Solrock yelled as it landed on the ground. Absol and Pelipper landed on the ground, relieved as both Pokémon on the opposite were knocked out. Rachel stood there in relief as Tate and Liza were surprised. As they returned both Pokémon, Tate and Liza walked toward her with happiness. Tate grinned as he looked at her.

"Well, that was a fun battle. I barely was able to use my Solarbeam," said Tate.

Rachel grinned, "I figured I would try something different."

"Sometimes, you have to do things differently to make it work," said Liza, reaching for her pocket, "The Mind Badge is yours."

Rachel grinned as she reached for it, seeing the pink heart like badge. As she placed it in her badge case, she only needed one more. Looking at Liza, she grinned as she turned around, "I'm guessing Sootopolis Island?"

"Yes. Once you get all 8 badges, you will get further information about the Hoenn League. Hopefully, you can compete!" said Tate.

"I plan on it," said Rachel.

"Good," said Liza, grinning, "You did great! We wish you the best and thank you for saving our planet. Fire Magician."

Rachel grinned as she bowed her head a little. The other rangers headed toward the battlefield, excited to see Rachel's progress. Rachel grinned as the other rangers nodded in response. Cedric grinned as he turned to him, "Great job!"

"Thanks," said Rachel, grinning.

As they said their goodbyes, Rachel and the others started heading out of the Mossdeep Island Gym. All was well as they were heading back to the cruise ship. However, it was short lived when the rangers picked up the Relic Detectors. Picking up the detector, Rachel picked it up, "It's Rachel!"

"Rachel," said Max on the intercom, "I regret to inform the team but you found the right tree. But, the berries you picked? Not them. They are hidden in the trees."

"Seriously?" asked Rachel.

"What?" asked Seb, looking at Rachel. Rachel turned around, "We got the wrong berries."

"HOW?" asked the rangers.

Meanwhile…

Garbanerd was sitting at the tree trunk. He started sobbing as he was crouching down, "Oh… I will never be able to do what I need to do to please Dracos!"

He smacked his head on the ground as a berry fell to the ground. Garbanerd turned around as he saw the berry. Picking it up, he saw an orange aura coming from the berry. He looked at it as he turned to the island, "I wonder…"

As he ate the berry, a golden aura surrounded him as he began to grin. He looked at his device as he began to look at the tree trunk, "This is a palm tree! And I am on an island in Eastern Hoenn. I am a monster of Team Dracos and my goal is to find more berries to serve Team Dracos. I must study the rangers to defeat them immediately!"

Later that evening…

Darcie tossed and turned as she woke up. She opened her eyes, seeing the night sky. As she hopped off the bed and on to the floor, she walked toward the exit, where she saw a light at the end. As she walked toward the hall, she could hear the sound of a piano playing. She walked in as she noticed Garbanerd playing classical music.

"No, that's the wrong arpeggio… I must get this right!" he said, "The frequency of the notes are incorrect."

Darcie turned around, "Garbanerd?"

"Ah, Darcie. Yes! I am working on a Sonatina. It sounds amazing!" he said.

"You are different," Darcie said, "Did you-?"

"I ate a berry from the tree and now I am SUPER confident and SMART!" he said, grinning. Jake, who eavesdropped, walked into the room as he slammed on the piano keys. Garbanerd turned around as Jake arrived, "Then, you need to defeat the rangers."

Garbanerd turned around, "I refuse!"

He turned around and left. A purple and black aura surrounded him as Jake turned to him, "Seriously? A dumb creature turned smart? I thought I killed him."

"Well… maybe he had help," said Darcie, "But, he's smart now."

A few minutes later, outside of the headquarters.

Jake stood there in aghast as Garbanerd took out a white board with a few mathematic equations and a few pictures on self defense. Jake watched for a good half hour as Garbanerd began teaching not also simple mathematic equations but was also teaching Draco Grunts self defense. Jake stood there as he looked at Darcie. Darcie stood there quietly as she looked at him, "Maybe using the Shadow Tag bomb wasn't the smartest idea."

"I'm glad he's alive… they might learn something!" said Jake, turning to Silva. Silva grinned as he looked at them.

"It seems that Garbanerd is going to be a very smart person. We may not even need to get the berries at this point," said Silva.

"Sir," said Jake, turning to Silva, "If I may, maybe if he can train the Draco Grunts without the berries-."

"Why are they here?" asked Silva.

Jake turned around as he noticed two different versions of their grunts hanging out. Garbanerd was teaching Aqua Grunts, Magma Grunts and Draco Grunts, learning to battle and fight together.

"It seems that your monster really knows how to teach our grunts," a voice said. Silva turned around as Maxie and Archie arrived, grinning.

"Well, why are your grunts here?" asked Jake, turning to them, "He had an order from me and chose to do his own thing!"

"Well, you see… we were quite impressed," said Archie.

In between…

Garbanerd was running away as he was looking at the woods. He stumbled upon a few Magma Grunts and Aqua Grunts facing each other in anger. Watching, Garbanerd turned around as he noticed a few fighting each other for no reason. Garbanerd began to glow in a blue aura as green beams shot out from his eyes, shooting down the grunts.

"Guys, you are doing it wrong!"

A few minutes later, the Magma Grunts and the Aqua Grunts were impressed as he used one of the Draco Grunts, showing them the correct way to fight, "It's all about physics!"

One of the Magma Grunts turned to the Aqua Grunts. One of them nodded as they turned toward Garbanerd.

"Teach us to not be horrible! Help us!"

"Gladly!"

Maxie walked over as he turned around, "You see… now that we know what you are up to, both of us decided to let you use our grunts to fight the rangers. They learn from Garbanerd, they might learn something from this."

"I guess," said Jake, turning to Darcie, "Fair enough."

Maxie nodded as he turned around, "Great."

Maxie grinned as he smirked, turning to Archie. Archie was not so sure what was going on, but he watched. Maxie turned toward Courtney and Tabitha as they turned around.

"So, is this going to work?" asked Tabitha.

"You mean call it a truce and then turn their backs on them?" asked Maxie, "Yes. And, once we destroy the grunts, we will take Garbanerd and his brain. I want to use his brain to program our grunts and future monsters."

Courtney and Tabitha looked at each other in surprise as they turned to him, "Yes, sir!"

As the admin turned away, Garbanerd grinned as he grabbed another berry and ate it. A golden aura surrounded him as he gave a few berries to the grunts.

"What do these do?" asked Aqua Grunts.

"Do you want to learn the way faster or struggle?" asked Garbanerd.

The Aqua Grunt grumbled as he ate it. Ingesting it, a golden aura surrounded the grunt as he turned around toward the group, "I feel powerful!"

He turned around as he looked at the group. Meanwhile, Jake and Darcie headed down the stairs as he turned toward him.

"So," said Jake, "Are you going to kill the rangers with your new army?"

"Better," said Garbanerd, grinning, "I need access to an internet source."

"Why?" asked Darcie.

"… Do you want to lure the rangers out or not?" asked Garbanerd.

Meanwhile...

Urara and Amy were sitting together at Ranger HQ as they were having cups of tea. Urara, unsure of what Amy was researching, raised her eyebrow as she was looking straight at her. She had no knowledge of what was going on, but Amy was definitely in deep thought. She sighed as she went to take another sip of tea.

"So," said Urara, "What is going on?"

"Researching something about an artifact Max wanted me to look at. For some reason, its hidden in our data based and needs an ecryption-," she stopped mid sentence as she noticed green digits going through her computer. Her look was astonishing as Urara walked over, "What's up?"

"Uh… did JT clean out my computer or prank something?" asked Amy.

"No why?" asked Urara.

"It's downloading something that I didn't ask for it to download… its not even saving on my hard drive," said Amy.

Urara turned around as she noticed the wiring. She then turned around as she looked at her computer. Her computer had Garbanerd's image.

"Oh my! Amy, shut it down!"

"Why?" asked Amy.

"Trust me!" said Urara.

Quickly, Amy and Urara both shut their computers down. Next, Urara removed the wirings from both computers. As she did, a major spark occurred as both people flew on the floor. A light explosion occurred, but nothing to damage heavy. It was enough for Zander and the others to dash into the room.

"What's going on?" asked Zander.

"Garbanerd hacked our computer system!" Urara said.

"How?" asked Seb, walking in, "Our internet is secure."

"Don't know," said Amy, "But, I hope they weren't downloading anything important."

Cedric said nothing as he looked at both of them. He turned around as he went to the doors. As the doors opened up, Seb turned around in response, "Hey, where are you going?"

"Simple. I have some business to take care of. Nothing personal," said Cedric, closing the door behind him.

Pressing the white button to exit, he looked at the elevator as it went up. Cedric shook his head as he looked at the ceiling, "So… maybe Grace was right."

The doors opened up as he walked toward the zord bay, where JT and Ray's office were located. As the door opened, Cedric walked over to Ray, who looked over.

"What's up?" asked Ray.

"Did you guys have a computer surge?" asked Cedric.

"Yes," said Ray, "Why?"

"The downstairs lab area is going berserk," said Cedric.

Ray nodded as he turned over, looking at the chair. Clicking on a few things, he began to look at the radar as he noticed more things downloaded, "It seems like its coming from… the Mauville Power Plant?"

"You mean the abandoned plant that gives Mauville City power?" asked Cedric.

"Yes," said Ray.

Cedric nodded as he walked away. Ray walked outside as he went to Cedric, "What about the others?"

"There's no time!" shouted Cedric, running down the hill toward the elevator.

A half hour later…

Garbanerd grinned as he was looking at his findings. The black wires were connected to a supercomputer in New Mauville as he began to charge and create new electric currents. He grinned as he looked at the blue and green grid at the end. He looked up as he turned to the Dracos, Magma and Aqua Grunts.

"Do you see that?" he asked.

"Is that the grid?" asked the Magma Grunt.

"That means…," said the Aqua Grunt, "Sever the grid…"

"No electricity in Hoenn… this is the heart of the region!" said the Draco Grunt.

"Once we cut the power supply, we can use this power to duplicate many berries and then take what's ours… that is, if our empires can make a truce," said Garbanerd.

"Not so fast, Garbanerd!"

He turned around, noticing Cedric was standing across from him. Garbanerd turned around, "Cedric, what are you doing here?"

"To stop you from making a very big mistake… you might have the Forbidden Fruit, but I can't you destroy our region!" said Cedric.

Garbanerd turned around as he looked at him, "You wouldn't kill me after you spared my life…"

"I didn't know that you would eat from the Forbidden Fruit," said Cedric, turning to him. Garbanerd looked down as he stretched out his hand, "Look, Garbanerd, stop this! If you do this, Magma, Archie and Silva may not cooperate. They might use your brain for all we know!"

"No way! I am uniting people! I am going to carry on my mission!" he said.

Cedric took a deep breath as he looked at him. Before he could reach his Detector Morpher, blasts of energy shot out. Turning around, Seb and the others arrive at New Mauville. Seb walked over as he went to Cedric, "We must destroy him."

"I know," said Cedric, placing his morpher up, "Relic Hunters, Start Up!"

A flash of silver light surrounded him as he went to strike. Immediately, the rangers fought in the power plant. Rachel and Grace fought the Dracos Grunts while the guys split up the Magma and the Aqua Grunts. As the battle continued, Garbanerd was taken by Cedric. Cedric and Garbanerd dashed as they went to strike. As Cedric went to use his Steel Sniper, Garbanerd used his computer. Green beams shot out as explosions surrounded him. Cedric landed on the ground, pulling the trigger. Gold beams shot out as Garbanerd was hit. As Garbanerd went to strike with his hand. Blue beams struck out. Cedric began to close his eyes as he turned into a shadow. Going underneath, he jumped up as he hit Garbanerd. Garbanerd turned around as he flew across, splitting into three people. Cedric turned around as he looked at him.

"Garbanerd, why?"

"Take this! Garbage Bomber!"

Bags of garbage flew across as explosions surrounded Cedric. Cedric flew across as he landed on the grass. Rolling down the hill, a flash of silver light surrounded him as he unmorphed. As he was about to fall off the cliff, he yelled as he hung on for dear life. Garbanerd walked over as he watched. Garbanerd laughed as he turned around and looked at him. He then turned around as he began to think of what happened.

"Cedric!"

Stretching out his hand, he grabbed Cedric's arm. Cedric felt his arm as he was carried up the mountain and on the ground. Cedric looked at him as the creature stood up.

"Why?" asked Cedric.

"You saved my life," said Garbanerd, "And even though I ate the berries, I will be forever in your-."

SLASH!

Garbanerd cringed as he landed on the ground. As he fell flat on the floor, Cedric watched as he noticed Jake with a saber in his hand. He looked up as Garbanerd turned to Cedric, "Debt."

Landing on the ground, a huge explosion surrounded him. Cedric turned around as he looked at the explosion, "GARBANERD!"

"For someone who is smart… he has no heart," said Jake.

Cedric turned around as he grabbed the white bag. Opening the bag, he saw a glowing aura of the fruit. Before he could put it away, Jake placed his saber at sword point, "Hand over the berries!"

Cedric turned around as he looked at Jake, "… Kill me first."

"Why I oughta!" shouted Jake.

Suddenly, a green lightning bolt struck the ground as Silva arrived. Immediately, Jake turned around as he looked at him.

"You are going to pay for what you did!" shouted Cedric.

"You will pay the price, Silver. Now, let's do this!" shouted Silva.

A green aura surrounded him as winds picked up. A green aura surrounded Garbanerd as he grew ten times bigger. Screaming, he used his computer screen to destroy Route 110. Cedric turned around, seeing the flames, "Relic Hunter Zords 11-13, dispatch!"

In a flash, the Steelix Zord appeared as well as the Scizor and Metagross Zords. Jumping up, Cedric arrived in his cockpit, placing the Relic Driver into the cockpit.

"Let's do this!" said Cedric, "Emergency Adventure Fusion!"

Turning the dial, he heard three different clicks… seeing the numbers 11, 12 and 13 glowing in the center of the device. Pressing the green button, the device lit up.

The Steelix Zord split into three parts, the tail, head and body. The Scizor Zord jumped up as Steelix's head covered the Scizor Zord with the body attached to the Scizor's torso and legs, giving some height. The Metagross Zord attached to the back, with the arms coming up and over the Megazord. A blue helmet appeared on top of the Steelix's head.

"Detector Megazord, assembly complete!"

The Detector Megazord threw a punch or two at the creature. The Steelix Zord smacked Garbanerd across, causing him to land on the ground. Garbanerd landed on the ground, rolling on the floor. Turning around, he threw bags of garbage. The bags exploded around the Detector Megazord. The garbage turned into silver claws as it spiked into the Megazord, causing explosions. The Megazord shook as Cedric tried to keep it stable.

"Come on, I don't want to fight you. You aren't that type of monster!" said Cedric.

The creature roared as he turned around. Cedric looked at him as he went to strike back. As the struggle continued, Seb and the others walked toward the battle scene.

"Cedric…," said Seb.

Immediately, a punch was thrown in the face as the creature landed on the ground. Cedric sighed as he turned to him.

"I guess I have no choice but to destroy you," said Cedric. Looking at the creature, he then pressed a few buttons. Pressing a few buttons, silver, red and blue energy surrounded the Detector Megazord. The blue Metagross claws clamped together as blue beams surrounded it. The Scizor claw opened up, with a red aura surrounding the inside. The Steelix drill started to spin with a silver energy forming around it.

"Detector Megazord, Triple Flash Cannon!"

Three beams of energy were unleashed, combining into one blast of energy. The beam pierced Garbanerd straight through as he fell on the ground. Explosions surrounded him with a scream in response. As he exploded, a blue Shadow Tag flew out of the ground, landing in the cockpit. Cedric looked up as he noticed the tag said the word "Friend" on it.

"I didn't even have a chance to interact with you," said Cedric, looking up.

Meanwhile, down below, Darcie turned around as she looked at Jake, "Well, so much for him. Why did you kill him?"

Jake turned around, "He grew soft around Cedric because he spared him. I was just waiting for the kill… now we just need the chip of what he-."

The group turned around to notice that the remains of Garbanerd were taken. Jake turned around as he looked at what was left, "Shit!"

Back in the Magma Hideout…

"So…," said Maxie, turning to him, "You did a good job!"

The Magma Grunt grinned as Maxie looked at Garbanerd's head. Looking at the green chip, he placed the chip in the computer as he went into the files. He turned around as he looked at them, "Ah, so that's all the artifacts collected…"

"And that has all of their weaponry," said Tabitha.

"I'm not worried abut their weaponry," said Maxie, "I'm…"

He turned around as he stalled, looking at the image. He grinned as he turned to them, "Looking for something that could help us out in the future. Good job, Silva. You helped me a lot more than you know."

Later that day…

As the sun was setting, Cedric turned around as he knelt down. Looking at the waves crashing, he placed a wooden cross in the dirt as he bowed down to it. Looking up, he took the Friendship Shadow Tag and stabbed it to the cross. He grinned as the waves were flowing. He turned around, noticing the other rangers, standing on the other side.

"How long… have you been here?" asked Cedric.

"Enough," said Seb, looking at him, "So, I guess you aren't okay."

"I'll be fine. I just wasn't expecting to friend someone who lost his way," said Cedric, "And Team Dracos got their wish."

Rachel nodded as she turned around, "But, I am sure this won't be the last time either."

Cedric nodded as he yawned, "Well, let's go bring back the berries and head back on the cruise ship. It leaves for Sootopolis in an hour right?"

"Yeah, we should probably teleport and head back," said Seb.

"Last one on the cruise ship buys people drinks," Zander exclaimed, activating his Relic Detector. Before the rangers could say anything, a flash of blue light surrounded him, followed by the others in suit. The rangers leave behind Garbanerd's grave as the waves come crashing on shore.

A/N: So, this was a fun chapter to write and I enjoyed every moment. Yes, Rachel finally got her seventh gym badge. And well, things just get more and more interesting as we continue to find more artifacts that lead to the Crown of Weather. You are just going to wait and see what happens next! Reviews are appreciated for sure!

I am also back from a very long hiatus. So... abridged version, starting a new job in August... and the start of 2022 was crazy with family things happening. Hence, why you waited so long for an update. Hopefully, it won't be so bad. I do need to speed things up on my end though. So, be on the lookout for new chapters this summer.
