Title: Life Day Holo-movies
Characters: Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-wan Kenobi.
Disclaimer: I do not own Star Wars.
Anakin was getting concerned, Ahsoka had seemed depressed the entire week. He understood what she was going through, he had gone through it too, pre-Life Day depression. He wanted to help her despite knowing from personal experience that it wasn't really something you could get rid of. Obi-wan was just sipping tea, observing the whole situation. Anakin knew better then to ask him for advice, it would just end up with Obi-wan saying, "I tried my best when you were a child, there's just no fixing it." Anakin knew this, but still, it didn't feel right, having to watch his padawan suffer. Then he got an idea, "Everyone, put your pajamas on, we're doing a movie night!" he exclaimed. Ahsoka grumbled a bit, but got up anyway. "You do know this won't help?" Obi-Wan asked, "Of course I do," Anakin said, "But it will distract her for a little while."
They started with one of Ahsoka's favorites, The Garfield Life Day Special. A story about a grumpy Tooka cat that had to go visit his owners family for the holidays. It was shorter, but they all thought it was funny. Anakin chose The Grinch, the newer one that had a bit more action. Though he and Ahsoka could have done without the mushy sentimental stuff. It was finally Obi-wan's turn to pick a Holo-movie. He chose Charlie Brown, a story about a boy who was depressed on Life Day. It actually seemed pretty fitting, what with Ahsoka being depressed. Halfway in, and Anakin felt something on his shoulder. Ahsoka had fallen asleep, with her head resting on his shoulder. Obi-Wan chuckled quietly and turned off the Holo-movie, "Maybe she'll finally be able to sleep this off." he said once he and Anakin were in the kitchen. "Maybe," Anakin said, "Tomorrow will be a new day, a new beginning."
A/N: Today was very hard, and to top off I had a lousy night of sleep too. But, enough about my problems. I had initially planned to do something with tge characters from Rogue One because today is the five year anniversary of its release. But this is what I thought of, so this is what I did. Also, did you spot the Rebels Easter Egg that I hid in here? I tried to adapt the movies I mentioned to fit with Star Wars, but it was a bit of a challenge. Garfield is my personal favorite. Today we are nine days until Christmas and thirteen days until The Book of Boba Fett. Anyway, thank you for reading, feel free to leave a review, and I hope you enjoyed.
