"Kids, Pizza is here." Pacey called from the kitchen. Leo and the twins came running in the room. However Pacey notice his sixteen year old daughter never went in.
"Where is your sister?" Pacey asked his four almost five year old daughter Madison who just shrugged.
"She was crying earlier." Macy the other twin said. That got Pacey's attention that's for sure. He quickly walked over to Ella's room and knocked on the door with a slice of pizza in his hands.
"Ella. Can I come in?" He said. He could hear a faint yes and he slowly walked in. "Hey." He whispered. He sat down on the bed and handed her the plate.
"Macy said you were crying earlier." Pacey said. "You can talk to your mom when you get home if you want but if you need me. You can always talk to me."
"Thank you, Dad. I just um I'm just having friend problems." Ella said. "Kathy and I are always on the same page but we are fighting over a boy."
Pacey tried his best not to laugh at old he felt in this moment thinking about all the times he fought with Dawson over Joey.
"You and Dawson and I fought over your mom for a while."
"You did?"
"Yeah. Was it fun, no! And you may not know what is the right thing to do. But one day you will be like me. Four kids, a house and the love of your life right thing to you and you will know that you did the right thing." Pacey said and then kiss Ella's head who was now smiling.
"Make sure to bring your plate out." He called as he walked out the room to find Joey standing there. "Oh hey."
"Hi." Joey said as Pacey shut the door. "Is she ok?" Joey asked.
"Yeah, boy problems."
Joey quickly took his hand and hers and kissed his lips. Pacey gave her a confused look.
"What was that for?"
"I just wanted to make sure I was hearing the right thing with the boy advice." Joey whispered and kissed him again. "Come on let's eat."
Pacey smiled all the way back to the kitchen. Years ago this would have seemed like a dream and some days it still does. But he got the girl and one day Ella will get the boy.
