I haven't uploaded Black and White for a while and I really need the story line to move on.
So here's the next chapter! Please enjoy!
I don't own anything in the Potter universe except for Andrew!
Chapter 15: Exams and Trials.
"His followers." Andrew stated simply.
"Whose followers?" Hermione asked again.
"Voldemorts." The Potters said together.
"Why would they be at Hogwarts?!" Ron asked after shivering at the name.
"'Cause… we are."
The walk back to the common room was silent as the four each thought about ways of getting past the Cerberus which was by no means an easy task. Harry stopped them before they entered the room and appeared to have thought of something.
"I think I know how we can get past the Cerberus. I think we should talk to Hagrid, if anyone would know how to get past it, it would be him."
"Good plan. We'll do that tomorrow, for now let's start studying. Exams are coming up in a month and I think we should study up or… you guys should, anyway." Andrew said with a smirk.
"Bloody perfect recall…" Harry muttered as he walked past his brother and into the common room.
"You should study too." Hermione said with a raised eyebrow.
"Not really, just gotta read through the material and it's stored in my mind."
"That's cheating!"
"How the hell is that cheating?"
They hadn't noticed how their quiet conversation had turned into a yelling match.
"First of all stop swearing, you'd think you were raised by sailors and secondly you're using your memory as an excuse to simply pass the exams but have no understanding of the material at all!"
"Oh it's my fault I was born with perfect memory was it? It's my fault that I remember everything that's happened in my life? Well, I'm sorry that I have an advantage to learning that you don't, but you know what, that gives you no right what so ever to judge me! You have no idea what I've seen that I am now constantly forced to remember!"
"That doesn't change the fact that even if you learn everything tonight that you'll understand it! Have you gotten the Levitation charm done yet or are you planning on having your memory pass you through the practical exams?" Hermione asked in a slightly superior tone, thinking she had won.
"Wengardium Leviosa." He said pointing the White Ash wood wand at a table in the room and watched as it rose off the ground. A few seconds later he cancelled the spell and turned back to a confused looking Hermione. "Just because I didn't understand then, doesn't mean I don't understand it now. Now if you'll excuse me." He said in a cold tone before walking off, ignoring Hermione calling for him.
He quickly climbed the stairs up to the boys' dorm, 'What right does she have? Who the hell does she think she is?!' he thought angrily as he burst through the door startling the other boys in the room.
"Err, hey there Andrew…" Seamus greeted as he watched the boy walk over to his trunk and pull out some books.
"You- you okay man?" Dean queried.
He was ignored as Andrew carried various books out of the room, slamming the door in the process.
The three boys looked at each other. "Maybe he's nervous about the upcoming exams?" Neville suggested with a weak shrug.

The next couple of weeks were a blur for most of the students who hadn't started studying till the last possible moment while the others were already testing each other with random questions and the occasional random false statement to which the questioned party would have to correct. Needless to say those who were less prepared (Ron) hadn't a clue for most of the answers.
Andrew and Hermione had settled their little dispute after talking it out and Hermione learned that while Andrew could memorise anything by simply listening to it, his attention span was barely long enough to capture all of the information which left some holes in his information. That was why he still studied even after he already memorised most of the work.
Monday, the day of the exam was a stressful time for most of the pupils the first exam being DADA annoyed most students as their Professor for the subject had barely taught them and was more stutter reliant.
The theory part of the exam lasted an hour and most first years were exhausted when they left the room for lunch, only to be reminded of the practical exam coming up after they had eaten. The next day, Tuesday, the students wrote Transfiguration which Hermione was excited about, followed by Charms, Herbology, Potions and finally Astronomy on Monday the following week.
Harry was rather proud of his performance in the DADA exam and felt as though he did rather well, as did his brother and Hermione. Ron also stated he found it rather easy and was confident in his performance (mainly due to Hermione's help) Neville, being the timid boy he was only said he felt as though he could have done better.
Transfiguration was by far the subject Hermione felt the most determined to beat Andrew in. Not only was her favourite teacher in this class, but she had picked up on the subject rather well, after studying as much as she did. The previous night after the Defence exam Hermione had shut out any outside influences and studied her Transfiguration book and notes about four times, even ignoring Ron as he practically demanded her help him. When the next day arrived, the bushy haired girl's friends picked up a sense of haughtiness about her, and how she seemed more confident than usual about this exam.
Charms, Andrew felt was one of his better subjects, along with Astronomy and DADA if the bloody teacher could actually do his job. Sighing, he opened his text book and began reading. Harry came over some time later for some help which Andrew happily offered. After about an hour, he decided he needed a small break and walked over to Hermione who also had her face buried in her Charms notes, he tapped her on the shoulder and motioned with his head over to the portrait hole. The bushy haired girl seemed reluctant and was about to argue when Andrew grabbed her hand and pulled her along.
"Come on, it's a great day, let's just go out for an hour or so then we can get back to the books." He said with a grin, to which Hermione sighed and nodded her head at.
After ten minutes the two arrived at a large tree near the Black lake, Andrew, being a boy, instantly made a bee line for the tree and began climbing it.
"What are you doing?" Hermione asked with wide eyes as she watched him.
"Climbing this tree." Andrew replied nonchalantly.
"I can see that, but why?!"
"Meh, it started out as a fun activity, but now I've got a goal." He stated as he stared at each branch in the tree as he climbed past them.
"What goal?" she asked as Andrew began sitting on one branch and feeling it with is bum before leaning back and resting against the trunk of the tree.
Hermione watched Andrew as he was now facing the Black lake sitting on one of the trees branches leaning against the trunk with a very relaxed look on his face. She was about to say something else when she heard a familiar voice call out.
"Hey Hermione, what are you doing out here? I thought you'd be nose deep in book by now."
Hermione turned to see who had spoken and a turf of yellow hair her attention.
"Hello, Tonks, oh Andrew and I decided to get some fresh air, you know. Give our brains a bit of a break." She stated with a small shrug.
"Oh, good call, I was just doing the same thing, where is Andrew." The metamorph asked looking around.
Hermione said nothing but simply pointed up at the large tree. Tonks looked up and caught the dark skinned boy looking like he had obtained absolute peace in the branches.
"Hello, Andrew." She stated with an indifferent tone.
Looking down Andrew saw Tonks and smiled.
"Hey, Tonks, sorry about the whole Nymphadora thing, was a tad bit annoyed you wouldn't tell me about the stone, but don't worry, we've found it, we're going for it on Tuesday next week." He replied in a happy tone.
Caught off guard by his happy tone and apology, Tonks, stared at the boy in surprise before she remembered what he said. "What about your game on Wednesday?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.
"What game on Wednes… Shit! I forgot about that! Dammit!" Andrew cursed angrily, causing Hermione to gasp at his language.
"Yep, the Ravenclaw v. Gryffindor game on Wednesday. Look, how about we go after it the day after, huh?" she suggested with a small shrug.
"No, no, if anything, the game would be the perfect time to go for it. It has to be before then." Andrew stated.
"What do you mean?" Hermione asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Everyone'll be in the Quidditch stadium, being the last game of the season and with Gryffindor only one game away from winning the Quidditch cup or one loss away from Slytherin getting it again… Well, sufficed to say everyone's gonna be curious about the outcome." A new voice added.
"Harry, decide to get some fresh air?" Andrew asked.
"Yeah, and I… got a thought. You're planning for us going the day before the match?"
"I was thinking the night before, less suspicious if everyone thinks we're asleep."
"Hello to you too, Harry." The now pink haired girl said with a smile. Harry smiled back, but knew Andrew noticed his blush.
"Hey Tonks, so we're doing it?" he asked quickly, preventing his brother from embarrassing him.
"Yeah." The two more… adventurous students replied. Hermione however looked slightly nervous.
"But, won't we get into trouble?" she asked timidly.
"Nah, only if we're caught. Thank God Dumbledore overruled Snape's detentions or I'd have a bit of trouble getting out of that."
"Professor Dumbledore and Professor Snape, Andrew." Hermione scolded lightly, to which Andrew simply waved off.
"So, who's gonna tell Ron?" Hermione asked after shooting an annoyed look at her best male friend.
"Not it!" Andrew shouted raising his hand.
"Not it!"
"Not it!"
He was soon copied by Harry and Tonks who both raised their hands and they all turned to Hermione who looked thoroughly put out. She sighed before nodding in agreement and stated they should go back in to finish their studying.
The Charms exam was by far the most enjoyable subject for majority of the students in the school. Everyone walked out of the room looking positively chipper compared to the DADA exam.
Next came Herbology, Andrew, Harry and Ron could be seen crowding Neville asking for help on different plants and their properties. The usually shy boy wasn't used to so much attention and could be seen blushing when one of the boys told him how awesome he was.
The potions exam preparations were worse as the every first year was seen hunched over their text books and notes desperately trying to memorize the material, some were even reading instructions and were seen moving their arms as if stirring a potion in a cauldron.
And Astronomy wasn't really anything the students stressed about, since apparently no one planned on studying it further, even Hermione only studied for three hours before being happy.
Finally that following Tuesday, Harry and the gang met up by the large tree next to the lake to talk about their strategy for that night. Harry was sitting under the cool shade, next to him sat Ron who looked quite confused about their meeting. Next was Hermione who sat near the trunk with a book in her hand, Tonks was casually leaning against the tree watching the group of first years with a bit of hesitation in her eyes and finally Andrew was perched in a branch leaning against the trunk like he had been doing the last time he was at this tree.
"Okay, so what's the plan?" the elder girl asked with a small frown.
"Well, first of all, why is Tonks here?" Ron asked in slight confusion, though he was too relaxed to show it.
"We might need an older person to help with what might be down there." Hermione said before looking over at Harry.
"Okay, so, we go in tonight." The green eyed eleven year old said with determination.
"Well, yeah, we got that much… I meant what's our game plan?" Tonks added.
"Oh, well… err…"
Andrew sighed before taking over.
"Okay, Harry and I assume we'll have to play it by ear. We have no idea what's going to be waiting for us down there but I can bet you all it's going to be… well not pleasant. So when we get there, don't let your guard down even for a second." Andrew stated as he looked down at the others.
"Andrew's right, we can only assume that it'll much harder, especially if the traps are designed to keep out fully grown wizards. Be on your toes."
"Should we really be doing this?" Hermione asked looking slightly shaken.
"Would you rather the stone land up with someone who wants to be immortal? Whoever's after the stone, I bet they don't want immortality so that they can learn all the ice cream flavours in the world." Andrew said sarcastically.
Hermione huffed slightly. "I know that… I just mean, shouldn't we at least tell Dumbledore about the stone? It'd be safer." She added.
"Yeah, well, what are the chances they'll listen to four first years and a fifth year about something as precious as the stone? Hell, we shouldn't even know about it, we only learnt about this because of Hagrid. If he got the package before or after we went to Gringotts and not during, we'd be as clueless as the other students right now." Andrew replied before his face morphed into a look of confusion.
"What're you thinking?" Harry asked looking at his brother.
"Nothing of importance…not yet anyway." He answered.
After their meeting, the five friends all agreed to meet on the third door corridor that night at midnight to avoid suspicion from their dorm mates.
0o-o0-0o-o0-0o-o0
That night before ten, Harry and Andrew sat by the Gryffindor fire place staring into the flames, each lost in thought.
"So, it's almost time." Harry said quietly.
"Yeah, nervous?"
"A little bit… you?"
"Yeah, I can't stop shaking. At least we won't run into Snape or Quirrel down there… I hope." Andrew said as he muttered the last part.
"Yeah, we just have to worry about the traps, but we'll get past them."
"Yeah."
They went back into a comfortable silence staring back at the flames.
It wasn't long before they were chased up to bed by a prefect and the two eleven year old boys along with Ron sat in their beds it wasn't long before they heard snores coming from their roommates. Sharing a look the three boys quietly got out of their beds with Harry getting his invisibility cloak out from his trunk and they made their way into the common room, to find it mostly empty with a few seventh years studying for the last of their exams.
After an hour or so, the last of the elder students made their way off to bed the three boys took the cloak off and sat waiting for Hermione. After casting the clock which hung in the common room a look they found it was eleven fifty. Right as the clock hit midnight Hermione descended down the steps in her baby blue night gown and looked at the three boys before nodding.
Together the four students made their way towards the third door corridor. To their relief Tonks was leaning against the door of the third corridor waiting for them under the disguise of Professor Sprout just in case one of the teachers or Filch had decided to pass by there. Luckily no one had passed since she had arrived.
So the five students entered the room, walked down the hallway, opened the door to the Cerberus with a quick unlocking charm and took a breath. Andrew quickly poked his head inside to find the beast peacefully sleeping as a large harp played some soothing music.
"Music has charms to soothe a savage beast…" he muttered under his breath as he looked back to the others and nodded his head. Quickly but quietly the students entered the room and found a hatch lying under the paws of the giant dog. Moving quickly and very carefully they slid the paw over the hatch, opened it, looked down and were met by cold darkness.
"… So, ladies first?" Ron asked politely. Hermione and Tonks both snorted quietly before looking to Harry and Andrew.
The two brothers looked at each other and shrugged. "We'll go down and let you know if it's safe." Harry told them.
"Wait, you don't know what's down there… it could be anything." Tonks argued.
"Well, we can't do any spells in here, just in case of…" Andrew glanced at the still sleeping Cerberus which grunted slightly. "Cuddles here, so the only option is to jump."
They all knew he was right, so without any more delays Harry jumped down quickly followed by Andrew. The others waited patiently before they heard a quiet "It's safe." From Harry and all of them were soon sitting in some ridiculously slippery vine type plants.
"Ugh!" Ron exclaimed. "What is this?"
Just then the vines started moving tying the students up and were gradually getting tighter.
"They're tightening!" Harry yelled in a panic.
"How can the Japanese stand this?!" Andrew said loudly, but not really yelling.
"It's Devil's Snare!" Hermione yelled out.
"Oh thank you for telling us what it is that's currently killing us, but do you have any idea how to undo this!?" Ron yelled as more vines covered his thrashing body.
"Oh, um… Oh what was it again? Andrew do you remember?" Hermione asked, but was unfortunately met with silence as Andrew's mouth was covered by one of the plants and was unable to reply.
"Wait?! Where's Tonks?" Harry asked.
"Down here!" came the metamorph's voice. "Hold on, I'm gonna try something. Ingens Calor!" she yelled while pointing her wand at the Devil's Snare.
The four Gryffindor students then felt and extreme amount of heat from below them before the vines rapidly scurried away from them and before they knew it, they had fallen to the ground below. Getting up, they all got up and thanked Tonks profusely before moving on. Just before they reached the second door Hermione snapped her fingers. "Heat! They hate heat!" she exclaimed happily.
"A bit late there, Mio…" Andrew said before pushing the door open and saw what he deemed the weirdest thing he'd have witnessed in the wizarding world.
"What are those?" Tonks asked as she too saw them.
"Winged creatures of some kind." Harry replied.
Rushing to the next door, Hermione tried pulling it open only to find it locked. She tried the unlocking charm, but that failed too. She turned to the others and shrugged her shoulders. "What now?" she asked sounding useless.
"Wait… These bugs, they kinda look like…"
"Keys."
The Potter boys stated, just then an object fell from the sky… They watched as the slender object then stopped inches from the ground and hovered there, waiting to be picked up.
Andrew and Harry shared a look. "I'll do it." They said at the same time then frowned at each other. The others just watched on unsure on what to say.
"We can't both go."
"I know, so I'll do it."
"No, Andy, I'm doing this!"
"No! Harry you're staying here!"
"I enact Rule 28 of the brother's code!" Harry stated loudly and professionally, the three other students were completely lost on the whole conversation.
"What?! No, Vetoed!" Andrew stated just the same.
"You can't it's the one Rule, you can't Veto." Harry said calmly.
"Shit! Fine… but for the love of God, be careful! We don't know what those things are or if they have a protective charm on them." Andrew said before walking away from his brother and approached the door.
"What type key do we need?" Harry asked.
"An old one, perhaps, probably brass." Ron answered as he watched Harry as he approached the broom.
The raven haired boy looked up and caught sight of an old looking key with a clipped wing fluttering around with the other keys. He looked back to the broom and couldn't help but feel that this task was too incredibly easy. 'Just fly up and get the key?' It was simply too simple. 'I totally agree, be careful.' He heard a voice in his mind say. Nodding his head Harry prepared himself.
Taking a breath he gripped the broom and was instantly engulfed by the thousands on keys which fluttered around him trying to confuse and injure him. Mounting the broom quickly, Harry took off and found this broom to be lacking in speed and control having grown accustomed to his Nimbus. Looking around he caught sight of the key they needed and pushed the broom forward, effectively leaving the other keys behind him. Reaching out he caught the key and circled around to the others. Tossing the key to the others he kept avoiding the other keys. Finally after the others had managed to open the door, Harry flew towards it and at the last second jumped off and diving through the door which was effectively closed by his brother and Ron. He rolled and lay on the floor getting his breath back before being hoisted up from Tonks.
Muttering a quick thank you they moved on. The room was dark before the candles burst to life; the kids then found themselves staring at what seemed to be a giant board before Ron noticed the statue pieces on the floor.
"Sweet mother of Merlin, it's a chess board." He said which caused the others to look at him in confusion.
"Great, now what?" Andrew asked thoroughly irritated.
"Actually, Ron's amazing at chess." Harry stated before turning to his Red headed friend. "You gotta get us through, Ron." Harry said pumping as much support into the statement as he could.
Ron looked to the others who all looked at him with support in their eyes; even Andrew shot him a smirk and nod of encouragement.
"Alright, looks like we'll have to replace some of the pieces. So Harry, you take the Bishop spot, Hermione, you take the Queen, Tonks, you cover the Rook, Andrew you get second Rook position and I'll take the Knight." Ron instructed.
The others followed his instructions and went to their positions. They were all anxious but trusted Ron's judgement. The game started out rather quickly, with Ron taking out a few White pieces only to have them retaliate. The game went on for a few minutes until Ron was forced to make a decision. Any choice he made required a sacrifice of one of two of his pieces. The choice was either, himself or Andrew. If he sacrificed Andrew he could take their Queen and have Harry checkmate their King having the piece stuck between Hermione and Harry. Or he could sacrifice himself, lead their Queen out and once again have their King in checkmate between Harry, Hermione and Andrew.
He took a breath and steeled himself. He turned to Harry and told them the plan which they all argued about until he told them that this was the only option he could think of. That silenced them, and with a nod Ron turned to look at Andrew before steeling himself and looked out to the opposition.
"…Knight to E7!" the Red head commanded instantly his piece moved ahead and stood in its allocated position he gulped as he saw the Queen turn towards him and move towards him and the next instant he felt his piece shatter under him as he hit his head on the board below, Hermione and Tonks' urgent calling of his name silenced as he passed out.
"I respect you a little more than I did yesterday, Garfield." Andrew muttered to himself with a small nod of his head as he watched the red head laying a small way away from him. He saw Harry turn to look at him, and nodded. Harry understood and moved ahead planting himself in front of the King.
"Checkmate." Harry said as he watched the King drop its sword and bow down in defeat.
Acting quickly they rushed over to Ron who lay on the floor still passed out. They moved him off the board and put him to the side and stood.
"We'll come back for him after we've gotten the stone." Tonks said as she looked over to Harry who looked slightly torn before nodding his head. "Agreed."
The others moved on but Andrew stayed and took off his cloak covering the red head with it.
"You had two options there, Carrot Top. You chose the honourable route. We'll get that stone, you rest." The dark skinned boy said before running to catch up with the others.
As they approached the next door the four students stopped.
"You smell that?" Hermione asked; her eyes still red from crying for Ron.
"Yeah…" Tonks agreed.
"Why does it smell oddly familiar?" Harry asked with furrowed brows.
"Sweet mother of God!" Andrew muttered with wide eyes.
Before the others could ask what the matter was they heard a rather stupid grunt from inside the room.
"Was that…?"
"Yep…"
"Shit." Tonks cursed.
Hermione though was shaking she could admit that her newest fear was the Mountain Troll after the whole debacle in the girls lavatory on Halloween. Andrew noticed his best female friend's wide eyes and shaking form.
"Mio? Hey there, Hermione, are you alright?"
"N-N-N-N-No, I-I can't…. N-Not a-a-again…." Their bushy haired friend muttered with new tears forming in her eyes.
"Hey, hey… No one said you had to go in there… Alright, here's what we'll do. Harry, me and Tonks will take care of it, you come through when we call you. Alright?" Andrew said, taking control for the first time that evening. With a shaky nod, Andrew helped Hermione sit down against the wall and told her to wait there for them to return.
"Alright guys, we've faced this thing before, we can do it again!" The dark skinned boy told them supportively.
They pulled the door open and immediately cast Wengardium Leviosa only to have the beast swing his club the wrong way so all of them missed. The troll then noticed them and charged instantly, not prepared for that, they all dove out of the way. Harry acting on instinct ran behind the beast and jumped up onto its back. The troll was momentarily confused which prompted Tonks to cast the levitation on the club again which worked this time. Andrew wondered why the troll hadn't noticed, until he saw his Black ashwood wand shoved up the creature's nose.
"Jump off, Harry!" Tonks yelled as she dropped the club which she managed to get up 15 feet in the air before getting the troll's head. There was a loud crack, a painful groan and then a deafening slam as the troll collapsed to the ground.
Harry smiled at the now blue haired which who smiled back and went off to get Hermione who had her face buried in her knees. "Hermione, come on. We have to move on." The fifth year said as she grabbed the young witch's hand gently pulling her up and leading her into the room where the two brothers were arguing.
"… it worked." Harry said as he wiped what looked like snot off the wand.
"But… my wand?! Really?"
Harry shrugged before moving to the next room with a grumbling Andrew sulking along behind him. The two girls shared a look which spoke the exact same thing… 'boys!' but they soon followed too.
Harry pulled the door open and saw a room with a table full of potions on it. Opening it wider, he walked in, the others followed closely behind him and finally Hermione came through. When they all turned to the desk, they heard a roar and looked to the sides to see flames covering the door which they used to come to the door covered in Red flames, while the other door was covered in Black flames. Hermione turned to the table again and saw a piece of parchment laying on it with what seemed to be a Riddle on it.
The others looked at her and waited.
"Danger lies before you, while safety lies behind,
Two of us will help you, whichever you would find,
One among us seven will let you move ahead,
Another will transport the drinker back instead,
Two among our number hold only nettle-wine,
Three of us are killers, waiting hidden in line,
Choose, unless you wish to stay here forevermore.
To help you in your choice, we give you these clues four:
First, however slyly the poison tries to hide
You will always find some on nettle-wine's left side
Second, different are those who stand at either end
But if you would move onward, neither is your friend;
Third as you see clearly, all are different size
Neither dwarf nor giant hold death in their insides;
Fourth, the second left and the second on the right
Are twins once you taste them, though different at first sight."
Hermione read the riddle a few times before a large smile spread across her face, she turned to the others.
"Anyone want to give it a try?" she asked in a playful tone.
"Nah, I don't think our stomachs would very much like that." Andrew answered sarcastically. To say he was tired was an understatement, he was completely exhausted and just wanted to get this over with.
"Alright, alright." Hermione conceded before she pulled two potions out of their slots. "Here," she stated holding up the tiniest bottle. "Is the potion to go through, and this one," she motioned to the slightly bigger potion in her left hand. "Is the one to go back." She told them.
"Alright, you and Tonks go back to the surface get Ron and find help; there should be a way out of here, check the wall by the Devil's Snare, I'd venture a guess that something's there. No arguments." Andrew said with a stern look, his exhaustion was starting to affect him, if they wasted anymore time he was going to pass out. The two girls nodded, sipped the 'Back' potion and slipped through the fires.
Andrew and Harry shared a look.
"There isn't enough." Harry stated. Andrew nodded.
"Possibly, but help will come, you go on through." With a nod Harry drank the potion and put it back on the display before walking through the flame.
Andrew watched his brother go before a sound caught his attention, he turned to see the potion refilling, he grabbed it and downed the whole thing before stepping out of the room and froze at what he saw.
Professor Quirrel sneering at Harry.
"Well, well, well. Welcome to the party, Potter two." He said in a mocking tone.
"Wa-Wait what?"
And this is where I shall end this chapter… this was a bloody long chapter too, my fingers are exhausted! Sorry it took so long, I have no excuse… Really I can't think of shit.

Omake: I'd Date Me!
"How is this even possible?" A fifteen year old Harry asked as he walked down the corridor with his brother Andrew who shrugged.
"The readers don't really care, they just want something interesting."
"I suppose but…" Harry didn't finish his sentence as he and Andrew walked into the Great Hall for their breakfast they stared at faces they didn't know, sure they looked familiar, but… they had no idea who some of these people were.
"Oh God, not another alternate universe please…" Andrew muttered in despair as he lay on the ground and curled up into the Fetal position.
Harry remembered some of the stories his brother had told him of some of the world's he'd travelled to and could help but shudder at the reminder of him and Malfoy's world. He held back the bile rising in his throat and pulled Andrew back up to his feet.
"Excuse me, but may we help you?" came an old sounding famine voice from the head table, but it didn't sound like McGonagall or any other teacher the boys knew. They looked up and saw the whole Hall was staring at them in confusion, but none more confused than the Gryffindors' who looked at the boys with suspicion shining in their eyes.
They looked up and noticed an old lady sitting in the Headmaster's seat; they turned to each other before looking back to the table and cocked their heads slightly.
"Sorry, um, who are you, exactly?" Andrew asked, bluntly, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"Who is she!?" came a voice from the Gryffindor table in utter shock, a tall red headed girl who had a bit of bacon hanging from her chin stood and pointed towards the old lady. "She is Allison Penelope Wendy Brianna Dumbledore! Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Order of Merlot: First class, Supreme Mugwump and Chief Witch of the Wizengamot!"
"Now, now, Miss Weasley, I am sure these two boys are merely not from here. Is that a correct assumption?" the witch asked while she peaked at the two boys over her spectacles.
The two boys stared between the red head who they just learnt had the same name as Ron and the supposed Headmistress of Hogwarts… they just nodded dumbly before they turned and headed for the huge double doors.
"Oh, please join us for breakfast." Headmistress Dumbledore insisted. The two boys shrugged nervously headed towards the house of the lions and sitting down next to the Weasley girl, who shot them a heated glare.
"Romilda, be nice." A boy with curly hair chastised before extending a hand at Harry and Andrew, his doe brown eyes shining happily.
"Granger, Herman Granger." He greeted with a kind smile. When the two boys just stared at Herman with wide eyes he cleared his throat. "Yes, I am a Muggle-born, get over it!" he said in an annoyed tone.
"Oh- Oh no, that isn't the issue, it's just…"
"You look like someone we know."
The two boys said nervously, Herman did look just like Hermione but more masculine while Romilda looked like Ron just more girlish. They shivered at the thought and shared a look.
"S-So, erm…"
"Who are the teachers?" Andrew asked, controlling his voice.
"Oh well," Herman started. "We have Professor Dumbledore and then we have our Potion Mistress, Professor Snape…"
"Sorry, but you leave the titles out and just tell us their first and last names?' Harry asked sounding less freaked out but he was still going mad inside.
"Oh, well, Allison Dumbledore, Michael McGonagall, Rose Hagrid, Fiona Flitwick, Paul Sprout, Serine Snape," Andrew couldn't help but snort at that, oh how Snape was going to hate him when he got back to their universe. "Skyler Trelawney and…" but before he could finish he jumped up and gave a yelp while glaring at Romilda who motioned to the door.
Herman turned, Harry and followed his gaze and froze as they saw three girls glaring at each other as they entered the hall. They heard the tall boy ahead of them sigh tiredly before waving the two girls. One had long raven hair which fell down to her back and looked as though it hadn't been combed in ages. She wore wiry glasses which emphasized her bright green eyes.
The second one had short braids coming up to her shoulders, dark skin, sharp hazel brown eyes, an earring on each ear. She looked over at Herman and grinned before her eyes met the two other boys and she froze apparently both girls noticed as they both stared at the boys who stared back all four of them were confused.
Finally Romilda got impatient. "Hey, hurry up, Breakfast won't forever."
"Calm your tits." The dark skinned girl said snarkishly ignoring the reprimand Herman shot at her for her language. "So, who are you two? I don't remember seeing your faces… anywhere." She asked as she sat down next to the green eyed girl who was staring at Harry who was staring back.
"It's a… long… unbelievable story." Andrew said tiredly.
"Please, talk to me when you've had to watch your sister go through a tournament only meant for adults, then talk about unbelievable." The girl said with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh please battle a 40 foot beast and then come talk to me." Andrew countered.
"Fought off Dementors." The girl said with a frown.
"Met an assumed Mass Murderer." Andrew shot back, but also looked at the girl curiously.
"What's your name?"
"Ladies first."
"I asked first."
"You're the curious one."
"Fine, the names Andromeda, but people call me Andy, your turn."
"A-Andrew… people call me Andy…"
The two stared at each other in shock before pointing to the people next them.
"Harry, my brother!"
"Harriet, my sister!"
They froze again and stared, before a voice called out behind Andromeda.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Looks like more blood traitors."
"Bugger off, Malnourish!" Andy (female) said angrily.
"Hello." The girl greeted Andrew and Harry who had to admit, Malfoy wasn't a bad looking girl, they both felt very sick at that thought. "The name is Malfoy, Dracella Malfoy." She stated.
"Oh."
"My."
"God." The two dimensional travellers together as they heard the girls name.
"I am so sorry!" Andrew said sympathetically while looking at Malfoy who scowled at him. He then heard Andy (female) laugh loudly.
"That's exactly what I said to her in first year when she introduced herself."
"Malfoy, just leave us alone." Harriet said angrily and turned to glare at the blonde girl who scowled.
"My mother shall hear of this, Potter!" she said before stalking off.
"Well, I can definitely say that I am currently done, we have to go." Harry said looking over at Andrew.
"Yeah you probably right."
The two stood up but Harriet quickly ran over to Harry and grabbed him softly.
"Must you really?" she asked with tears in her eyes.
Andrew and Andromeda stared at the teary goodbye in extreme confusion.
"Err, yeah… I've got stuff to do-" Harry didn't finish as Harriet smashed her lips against his.
"Oh... wow."
"I didn't see that coming." Andy (female) said with a weird look on her face.
Andrew turned to look at her, but she stuck her hands up. "Oh, hell no… No offence but I'm in a relationship and very happy, he's a claw." She told him as she turned and waved at her boyfriend who waved back shyly but with a happy smile.
"Oh no, I totally get you, I'm also happily taken, check what she gave me for our three month anniversary." Andrew told the girl as he showed her his eagle pendant.
"Oooh Lookit!" she yelled as she showed him the exact same pendant. They laughed and high fived before hearing a gasp.
"Okay, Andy, we're going now!" Harry said as he pushed Harriet away from him and ran for the double doors pulling his brother along with him. The girls shared a thought and forgot to ask how the boys were going to leave. Chasing after them, they found that they had disappeared and were curious about those boys.
"Who do you think they were? D.E's?" Andy asked her sister.
"Nah, they were too… placid, every D.E is cocky in some way, if anything, I'd say they were almost exactly like us…" Harriet spoke on about them but Andy quickly turned to the direction of the staff table.
"Yo Dumbledore, they left." Andy yelled over the noise to the Headmistress, who smiled at the girl and nodded her head.
"Insolent brats." Serine Snape muttered while staring at the Potter girls.
"Menopausal bitch." Andy muttered as she looked at the Potion Mistress.
"… he was soo cute!"
"Har, but I thought you liked Shin Chang though."
"Oh I do…" Harriet replied as they approached their seats. "But I guess what I'm saying is… I'd date me."
Okay so here it is, I hate the fact that when people write a gender-bender fic they bend all the characters the genders, if you think about it, I think there would be a lot more opportunities with that route. But that's just me!
