Sup! Are you guys ready for the second book of this story! I know I am!... Why am I so pumped about this? (–.-")
Sorry for the long wait, all I'll say is… Internet crashed. (For a while!)
Anyway, here it is! Please enjoy!
I don't own Harry Potter.
Chapter 1 (Book 2): Home 'sweet' home.
The last day at Hogwarts was eventful as the four Gryffs and Tonks spent the day hanging out and getting back into the swing of things. The farewell feast was by Andrew's account, insane! The food was extravagant, the house elves obviously put a lot of time into it.
As the feast commenced, Andrew, Harry, Ron and Hermione spoke of the adventure they had two nights ago. Hermione stressed over them fighting off Voldemort (not actually saying his name.) Ron seemed glad he'd been knocked out rather early and Harry and Andrew both said that it was one of the scariest times of their lives.
When the feast ended the points had been awarded, with Dumbledore, giving last minute points to Gryffindor, "That's gonna make us popular…" Andrew muttered sarcastically. The house of the lions won the house cup. The red and gold table went mad with celebration and cheers.
Andrew hadn't been as happy but was still excited about it, but he wanted to know something else. Looking over at the Great hall doors he saw the score board above it busy calculating. The other students heard the sound of the numbers running to the total score and they all turned to look at it. The numbers stopped and everyone held their breaths.
In fourth place with 350 was Ravenclaw, third place with 470 was Slytherin, second place with 500 was Gryffindor and first place was Hufflepuff with a total of 510 points. The yellow and black table lost their minds as they cheered for the score. They hadn't won by much, but they had won. Andrew furrowed his eyebrows in surprise before laughing loudly and clapping for the 'Puffs, this was soon followed by the other tables, sans Slytherin.
As Dumbledore was about to speak a loud thrill was heard in the hall as the two giant phoenixes from before appeared, and flew around the hall before landing next to the Hufflepuff table.
"Congratulations, house of the loyal." The Silver phoenix said.
"You have won the tournament of pranks." The Golden phoenix followed.
"And your prize…"
The two birds connected their wings and a large trophy appeared, made of stone. It softly floated down to the Badger table. The phoenixes then flew once more and trilled before disappearing in a flash of light. Everyone was left in awe and amazement at the display of magic.
"Fantastic, absolutely, fantastic!" Flitwick cheered from his place at the head table.
"I must agree, those were brilliant." Dumbledore agreed with a smile, he then leaned close to McGonagall and whispered in her ear. "I honestly doubt two first years were possible of this range of magic. Wouldn't you agree Minerva?"
"Oh, my Marauder sense is tingling, and in the seven years I taught James Potter and his little band of misfits it has never lied to me before, I know those two did it, but for the life of me I haven't the foggiest idea how!" she muttered back while biting her thumb slightly.
Dumbledore simply chuckled slightly, he knew through a small Legillimence probe that Andrew had spoken to the elves, very smart of him. He would definitely be a force to reckon with when he got older.
The rest of the feast ended on a high note as the students left the hall after being dismissed and made their way back to their common rooms for a good night's sleep before boarding the train after breakfast in the morning.

After getting on the Hogwarts express and finding a compartment to put their bags up on, Harry and the others heard a knock coming from their window. Turning, they saw Hagrid waving them out quickly. Harry and Andrew saw that some students were still on their way to the train and figured they had a few minutes to spare.
Getting off and meeting Hagrid they smiled and watched as he smiled back at them.
"Alrigh' Andrew, 'Arry?" He asked kindly, and smiled when the two boys nodded happily. "Good, good, righ', here yer are; a little goodbye present." The gentle giant said as he handed the two boys what looked to be a photo album.
Sharing a look, Harry opened the book and found photos of his parents. His eyes widened slightly as he couldn't believe that he finally had something of theirs. Hagrid looked over at Andrew to see him looking at the moving photos with interest as well.
"Don' worry Andrew, your parents are in their as well." Andrew smiled at him, something Hagrid hadn't seen him do much.
"Thanks, Hagrid." The two boys said before hearing the whistle from the train.
"Oh, you lot better get on now, don' want to miss your ride home." Harry and Andrew shot the large man one more smile before running back to the train and getting on. After waving goodbye and watching as the Hogsmaede station disappeared Harry put the book in his trunk as the two boys agreed it'd be better to look at it when they got back to Privet Drive.
The train ride was spent by Ron and Harry playing a game of chess while Andrew and Hermione decided to start on their summer essays. "Bloody pain…" "Andrew!" was constantly heard whenever Andrew glared at the potions paper in front of him.
Three months of Dursley… Andrew was definitely in a foul mood and he couldn't even use magic to keep them... Then a sudden thought struck him, he glanced over at Harry and shared his thought. Harry tried to smother a grin but was not at all successful.
"Oh no, what have you two thought of now?" Hermione asked seeing the look between the two boys.
"Nothing." They answered in unison.
Obviously, Hermione did not believe the two Potters.
A few hours, 12 chess games, a Transfiguration and twice written Potion essay (Andrew lost his temper and threw the first draft out the window - while simultaneously cursing the very ground Snape walked on) later, the train pulled in to Platform 9¾ and came to a halt. The three first years got their bags and exited the compartment, only to be bombarded by students who were pushing their way through to get on to the platform and home to their families.
After finally making it through, Harry, Andrew and Hermione quickly said goodbye to Ron as his brothers called him from somewhere on the platform. The other three then ran into Tonks who told them she'd owl them when she had a chance to which the others agreed to. She waved goodbye and made her way off to an older woman they assumed was her mother.
As they made their way through the magical wall separating the muggle from the magical side, Hermione saw her parents and was about to ask the two boys if they wanted to meet them when she heard a distinctly rude voice over the crowd.
"Boys, you'd better get over here or we'll leave you two behind!"
With a tired sigh Andrew turned to Hermione and shot her a small smile.
"We've got to go, Mio, but we'll owl you." He said as he turned to leave.
"Bye, Hermione, we'll see you next term." Harry said with a smile and a wave before turning and joining his brother to their relatives.
"About time!" Vernon Dursley said angrily as he opened the boot of the car and watched as the two boys put in their trunks and owl cages. Luckily, they'd released their beautiful friends before leaving Hogwarts. They hoped Hedwig and Arcanum would find their way to Privet Drive.
As they sat in the back seat of the car with a still overweight Dudley joining them, Vernon got into the driver's seat while Petunia got the passenger seat. They got off and drove to the house while the car was unusually quiet. Even Dudley didn't bother the boys but kept shooting them nervous glances. Andrew turned to his brother and quirked an eyebrow. Harry simply shook his head with an amused expression.
When they arrived at the house, Harry noticed the neighbours seemed a bit nosier than usual, when their car pulled up. Getting out and pulling their trunks and owl cages out of the boot of the car the Potter boys followed the Dursley's into their home, they had been on edge when they had gotten to the house, unsure of what to expect. So when Petunia closed the door after everyone had entered the boys were about ready to fight.
"Take your things to the second bedroom." Vernon said simply.
Andrew was not expecting that, dropping his glare and looking at the large man in confusion he couldn't help but ask.
"Excuse me?"
"Take your… things, into…. the second… bedroom." Vernon repeated slowly. Andrew could tell this was difficult on the obese bastard.
"Wait, no! That's my room!" Dudley yelled angrily.
"We can't have them in the cupboard under the stairs forever Duddy-dums." The giraffe of a woman said pacifyingly.
"No, I don't want them to have it!"
"Thank you, come on, Harry, let's go put our… stuff down." Andrew said cutting off the whiny little whale and raised a brow at Vernon and Petunia.
"Before you leave though, we have rules about your… your…"
"Mag-"
"Don't say that word!" Vernon yelled cutting Andrew off as his face turned purple.
"Now, you will not practice your abnormalities in this house, you will still do all the chores in the house and you will be fed according to whether those chores have been completed or not!" Vernon said angrily.
"No."
"Excuse me…?" Vernon was blinking at the dark skinned boy.
"Here's what's going to happen: One- we will not practice any practical magic but theory is completely fine. Two- We will do some of the chores, and only because I don't think Harry would let me off with doing nothing this summer. And finally; Three- We will be fed a proper diet, it'd be a shame if all those people from the Wi… Abnormal world, knew about our dietary lay out." Andrew said, using his God given golden tongue to not out-right threaten; but hint at the possibility of their treatment under the Dursley's household being discovered.
"The garden, cleaning and food!" Vernon said after glaring at the boy.
"We'll do the garden, and mow the lawn, since it is actually pretty relaxing. We'll clean on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and one Sunday every two weeks. And food, well Harry and I will alternate between Lunch and Supper." Andrew said.
"And what about cleaning on Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays? And who will prepare breakfast?!" Petunia shrieked, astonished at the sheer cheek of Andrew.
"Well, as I see it, there are five people in this house, and two of them have been doing most of the work for the past six years. Also I will revoke the deal if you don't hold up your side of the deal, I don't really care, Harry and I could just as easily clean our space without much hassle, you on the other hand would have to do everything by hand, eventually. So, you keep up your side and we'll keep up our side." Andrew said, cutting off any chance they had at cheating.
"Go to your bloody room already!" Vernon yelled angrily, oh how he wanted to punish Andrew, but Andrew knew that as long as they didn't find out about the 'no magic' outside of school rule, he and his brother could practically get away with murder.
As they entered the room, they were pretty shocked to discover that they had actually gotten two beds, and mattresses.
"How do you do that?!" Harry asked as his brother shut the door behind him.
"Do what?"
"Get them all riled up like that?!"
"Bro, manipulation is a skill everyone can learn. Some -like myself- are just born with it." Andrew said with a shrug.
"So, do you think that…?"
Andrew raised his eyebrows at his brother.
"I'm sorry; Honest Harry wants to learn how to deceive people?" Andrew asked honestly surprised.
"Well, hey this Occlumency stuff is also supposed to help with memorizing things and masking emotions so…"
"Manipulation would be a useful tool. True. Alright Har, I'll teach you. It's quite easy actually." Andrew said as he sat on one of the beds and faced the other one, prompting Harry to sit down and join him.
"Okay, so first thing you've got to do: learn how to lie convincingly. That's pretty easy to do; so lie to me." The dark skinned boy said suddenly.
"Oh, err, nobody likes you…" Harry said lamely, and Andrew just raised an eyebrow.
"Okay, we've got work to do…" Andrew said as he rubbed his hand over his face. "Alright, well, what you've got to do is, learn to believe."
"What?"
"You know, believe in the lie; believe that what you're saying is the complete and utter truth."
"O-kay, and how do I do that?"
"Let go of guilt… Now I'm not saying keep lying and potentially ruin someone's life, lie only when you know that there won't be a huge fallout. So, life or death situations, getting someone you care about out of trouble but don't get it twisted I'm saying go out there and abuse it, you've got to be careful, if someone figures out what you're doing, well, suffice to say you'd lose your credibility." Andrew told him.
Harry nodded, that made sense use only when necessary, then he creased his brows.
"Wait a minute; you've use manipulation for things that don't even need it."
"Well, yeah, but let's be honest here, I'm not exactly someone who cares about others… I couldn't care less if I lost the respect of someone I didn't know or like, but you, you're a people person, so don't mess up."
"You… do hate people." Harry agreed with a nod.
"Alright come on, you've got homework to take care of and I have some books to read." Andrew stated getting up from his place on his bed.
"But wait, you didn't teach me anything." Harry argued.
"Sure I did, first lesson: Believe the lie. If you can come up to me and tell me a legit lie, where I believe you then we'll move on to reading situations." Andrew told him as he dug through his trunk for some Occlumency books. With a grumble Harry followed suit and pulled out some text books a few pieces of parchment.
The pair sat in comfortable silence as they began their work. Harry sat with a scowl on his face while Andrew had a blank expression as he read through the book.
"Occlumency is the art of protecting one's mind from intruders. There could be many things a person could obtain from another's mind. Simply mentioning a situation could bring up the very information they search for. The magic of infiltrating another's mind is called Legillimence.
In this book I will give you the basics of shielding your mind from external forces.
1: Clear your mind.
While this may sound completely impossible, especially to those who constantly have thoughts forming in your mind, it will help to be able to do this at a moment's notice.
Now for those who simply cannot push your thoughts to the side. Imagine a box and then starting with the most recent memory put it in the box and simply know that it is there. This may take a while especially for those who are not in a calming environment or who have a lot of wandering thoughts.
When you have successfully completed this stage, continue on to step 2. (I strongly suggest you start with the first step as it will help you later.)"
Andrew shut the book and tilted his head in thought. 'Clear the mind… Sounds easy enough.' He thought before closing his eyes and started imagining a box in his mind. He then began putting his memories in the box, but the moment he remembered something, another memory would surface thus throwing him off slightly. He knew his mind wandered but this was just ridiculous.
Harry had just finished his Charms essay when he looked over at Andrew and blinked. What was he doing? Harry was about to put the parchment down and get the book when he remembered that his brother was quite serious about doing well in school. Harry was quite surprised when Andrew let him slack off as much as he did at Hogwarts. Shaking his head, he decided to get Snape's work out of the way and started on his Potions essay until…
"Goddammit!" Andrew yelled angrily snapping his eyes open.
Harry jumped about a foot in the air before turning and glaring at the dark skinned boy ahead of him.
"What…?"
"Let's go outside… we can get back to this later." Andrew said as he stood up and stretched his back.
"It's only been thirty minutes." Harry said with a raised brow.
"Oh I'm sorry, if you'd prefer to get back to your Potions…"
"Let's go." Harry cut him off as he walked out of the room with Andrew close behind him and made their way to the front door.
"And just where do you think you two are going?" Aunt Petunia asked from her spot in the kitchen.
"Out." They replied before leaving.
The sun was still high up in the sky and the boys decided that the park would be a reasonable place to relax some. They walked over to the playground and saw many children there having fun. Some were swinging, others were enjoying the slides and there were even a few waiting to go on the see-saw. The two brothers opted for sitting on the grass under the shade of some trees for some relaxation.
They were just starting to relax when they heard a small cry. Looking up they saw Dudley and his gang picking on what seemed to be a six year old child. Looking at each other they decided to go help the little boy.
"Come on, Big D, hit him." One of boys urged.
"Leave him alone Dud." Andrew said walking up to them.
"Oh, look who it is boys, the freak and his slave." Dudley taunted, making the boys behind him chuckle.
"You're right about me being a freak Dud in fact, let me to show you just how much of a freak I am…" Harry said ominously.
Andrew smirked slightly at Dudley's pale face.
"You wouldn't…"
"We would…" they replied.
"What's the hold up? Come on; get 'em Dudley!"
Dudley simply stood looking sick before turning and walking away, his group of friends seemed confused at this, but didn't argue with it and they turned and followed their leader out of the area.
Scratching his head, Andrew sighed a bit.
"Let's go back. I'm not in the mood to be here anymore."
Harry nodded and the two turned to leave.
"T-Thank you…" they heard the tiny boy say.
"Don't mention it." Andrew called over his shoulder as they continued to walk away.
The two boys were halfway to the house, when something caught Andrew's eye. Turning he saw it was a guitar. Walking over to it, he saw it needed some work, but he decided to take it. It could be fun.
Harry saw this and smiled a little. 'Always gotta learn something, don't you?' he thought.
'We could both learn it, you know, start a band during summers.' Andrew thought back with a smile. He picked up the instrument and continued on his way back to the house.
When they arrived the two boys got back to their work, Andrew placed the guitar against the wall and got back to once again trying to clear his mind while Harry scowled angrily at his paper.

Meanwhile over in Magical London, there was a platinum haired man who sat in his large tea room and was currently lost in thought. That is until his son entered the room or more like strut into the room.
"Father." The boy greeted.
"Draco. Tell me, how is Hogwarts?" Lucius Malfoy asked as he breezed over the greeting.
"It's alright I suppose. Professor Snape is just as amazing as you said father, meanwhile all the other teachers are mudblood loving fools, and with Dumbledore there running the place, it's practically fallen to shite." Draco mouthed off.
"Mm-hmm, and what of the Potters?" Lucius asked again while rubbing his bottom lip.
"Oh the mudblood loving fool and his supposed 'brother' were all the rage on the train. Apparently they battled a teacher in the lower levels of the school to protect some sort of item or whatever. But I don't believe that, I think those two were simply trying to build up their own popularity-"
"Uh-huh, Draco, go outside and play." Lucius said cutting his son off.
"B-But father, I thought we were going to-"
"Draco! Do as I say and leave… now!" the elder Malfoy said in a stern tone. Taking the hint, Draco simply nodded before turning and leaving the room.
Lucius was once again left to the thoughts in his mind. He sat and rubbed his face slightly before headed over to a stack of parchment and writing out a quick note. Sighing he called out for his elf.
"Dobby!"
With a pop a small creature with floppy ears, large eyes and wearing what seemed to be dirty rags appeared.
"Master be calling Dobby?" the house elf asked timidly.
"Of course I called you, you rat. Take this note to the Goblins, collect what they give you and return back here, or you will be severely punished. Am I clear?" Lucius asked with a dark glare, causing Dobby to flinch slightly before nodding.
"Good, now go!"
When Dobby left Lucius turned and sighed again, he felt as though he had been doing that a lot lately. And what was the cause of all his stress? A letter, more like a note actually, which currently sat on the coffee table in the middle of the room. He never thought this day would come, but after hearing what Draco had told him and what he had just recently learnt, the Slytherin alumni would not be taking any risks.
He glanced at the letter/note on his table again and skipped most of what was written only to see the final line and the signature.
'Lucius, I gave you an object many years ago. I now need you to get that object and give it to someone in a position of power. When you do this, my return will be certain.
L.V'
Lucius shivered as he thought of the poor bastard the mist of his master was currently attached to. Lucius simply shook his head and sat down again waiting for the blasted elf to return with his package. His eyes scanned the page and again he sighed.
I'm sorry guys! Not up to par I know! Well anyway it is the the first chapter in the Second Book!
