Hey guys, so here's the new chapter… I don't have any witty retorts or things to say… so enjoy!

Oh except thank you all for following this story and adding it as a favourite! I'm feeling the love.

I don't own… *sigh* must I do this for every chapter… really?! Don't own H.P, I DO own Andrew!

Chapter 18: God Dammit, Dobby!

The two boys were halfway to the house, when something caught Andrew's eye. Turning he saw it was a guitar. Walking over to it, he saw it needed some work, but he decided to take it. It could be fun.

Harry saw this and smiled a little. 'Always gotta learn something, don't you?' he thought.

'We could both learn it, you know, start a band during summers.' Andrew thought back with a smile. He picked up the instrument and continued on his way back to the house.

When they arrived the two boys got back to their work, Andrew placed the guitar against the wall and got back to once again trying to clear his mind while Harry scowled angrily at his paper.

It's been three weeks since the start of summer vacation and the boys had never had a more enjoyable stay at the Dursley's in their entire lives. Vernon and Petunia took to ignoring the boys completely and settled for the arrangements Andrew had set in the beginning of vacation. Especially after Vernon had charged at Andrew to which the two boys drew their wands and pointed them at the large man. That stopped him instantly and made him retreat. Muttering curses at the boys under his breath.

Harry had finally finished all of his homework and work he had left over from school which was a lot. Andrew wouldn't hear it and forced the raven haired boy to finish his work. After he had completed everything he started on his Occlumency training. Harry hadn't had as much issues on clearing his mind as Andrew did. "It's because you barely have anything in that mind of yours." Andrew teased with a playful glare.

The boys were now on to step four.

"Step four: After clearing your mind, sorting your memories in a way that makes it easier to categorize and hiding the remaining memories, you must construct a shield to protect the memories. You will be creating a minimum of three shields in your mind to protect your thoughts.

A light suggestion; construct the first shield to be something large and intimidating. If this isn't your cup of sugar you may use anything you wish. Many do start by creating a replica of an area they trust a place they consider a place of solitude. Read step five when you have completed this step."

Andrew turned to look at Harry. "You're gonna use Hogwarts aren't you?"

"Yeah, it got us out of this place. Why, aren't you going to use it?" Harry asked his brother.

"Nah, if we have the same base design people might be able to access our minds easier. You go ahead and use it though. I'll figure something out. Matter of fact, I think I'm going out for a walk."

"Yeah, I'll come along."

The two boys got out of the house and made their way down to the little park.

"Have you gotten any letters from… anyone?" Andrew asked turning to look at his brother.

"No, it's a bit strange, especially considering the fact that Arcanum and Hedwig always return without a letter from the others." Harry said, to which Andrew agreed to.

They arrived at the park and noticed Dudley's gang sitting by the swings looking for potential targets.

"Wow…"

"You'd think that they have something to do…" Andrew muttered looking at the gang sadly. "Hey Harry, have we ever gone to the local skate park before?"

Harry tilted his head in thought. "No, I don't think we have."

"Well then, let's go." Andrew said as he walked past the park and made his way to the skate park.

The two brothers walked for a few more minutes, each one thinking about something else. Harry was busy constructing his Hogwarts mind castle while Andrew was occasionally sharing a mental image of what he remembered about the castle to his brother, which in turn helped Harry build a more detailed version of his mind shield.

When the two arrived at their destination, they saw people on boards doing the most insane tricks they ever thought a board could do. Paying the entrance fee the two boys walked in and watched in awe as kids skated all around them. Of course being new, they didn't really know any of the customs that came with going to a skate park and accidently walked directly into someone's way, causing a huge crash to ensue.

"What the hell is the matter with you two!?" the guy they had knocked over asked angrily.

"Sorry, sorry, we're new here." Harry said as he quickly got up.

"Well, maybe you shouldn't be here then, you bloody tossers!" he retorted angrily.

"Oi, hey, calm down, we already said we were sorry, no need to start something." Andrew said as he stood up and glared at the kid who was glaring back at him.

"Oh and if I want to start something, what are you going to do then?!"

"Oh trust me, Goldie-locks; you don't want the answer to that question." Andrew retorted as he took a step closer to the boy.

"Okay, okay, break it up. What's the issue here?" a larger boy asked as he stepped in-between the two angry boys.

"This tosser and his friend came out of nowhere and wrecked my run!" the boy said angrily.

"I swear to God if you call us tossers one more time I'll beat you so badly your great grandchildren will have bruises!" Andrew said with a sneer.

"Look, we're sorry alright, we've never been to this park before and were a little impressed by the all the skaters." Harry chipped in before fists were thrown.

The older boy looked at Harry and Andrew before speaking.

"Where are your boards? You can't skate on the power of imagination." He asked with a raised brow while a few people chuckled.

"Like he said, we're new to this skate park, and we didn't come here to skate, but to watch." Andrew explained.

"Mmhm, okay now that you've seen them, how about you turn around and leave?"

"No, you don't own this area; we'll stay here if we want to." Andrew said stepping forward again.

"Well, maybe not, but this is a skate park, for skaters. Not bystanders." The older boy said, staring down at Andrew.

"Okay, so if we get boards we'll be left alone in here, right?" Harry asked as he stepped beside his brother.

"I suppose I could let it slide, if you had boards."

"Fine, we'll be back tomorrow then." Harry told him as he turned and left, he was soon followed by Andrew.

"What's the plan?" Andrew asked his brother when he caught up to him.

"Diagon Alley and then the mall." Harry said in a serious tone.

"Okay then, and how do you suppose we get to Diagon All- oooooh!"

Harry smiled as they reached the road and signalled for a taxi cab. The two brothers got in and closed the door.

"So, wher' you lo' goin'?" the driver asked in a thick cockney accent. Harry turned to Andrew and smiled. Andrew just shook his head.

"The library in town." Andrew answered, knowing the driver wouldn't be able to see the Leaky Cauldron.

"Alrigh' hol' on then." the driver said before he took off.

In Magical Scotland in a magical school, unknown to most of the people in the world, sat a man in his office, doing paper work from the ministry when suddenly four of the trinkets in his office blared loudly, scaring the crap out of him. He turned and looked around, he saw that two of the monitors for Harry and Andrew weren't showing them at Privet Drive and the other two were saying that they were on the move. Acting quickly he called his Deputy Headmistress and Charms professor to be in his office in an instant.

After a few minutes the two professors arrived and looked at the Headmaster in confusion.

"Albus, what is the problem?" McGonagall asked worriedly.

"Harry and Andrew are no longer at Privet Drive, I don't know if they left willingly or if they were kidnapped, we must move immediately." He told them urgently.

"But Albus, wouldn't the Aurors be better for this?" Flitwick asked.

"I do not wish to bother them with such a problem, if it's simply a misunderstanding." He said as he grabbed his wand and walked to the floo connection. "We'll be travelling to Arabella Figg's residence and travelling from there." Dumbledore said as he stepped into the fireplace.

"Arabella Figg!" he said clearly before disappearing. He reappeared in her living room and stepped out of the fireplace so the others could follow.

"Oh my… Albus, you scared the living day lights out of me!" the elderly woman chastised as she put a hand over her chest.

"My apologies, Arabella, but I have reason to believe the two Potters have left Privet Drive." Dumbledore explained.

"Oh my, well I've been busy in my back garden, I haven't noticed anything."

Two whooshing sounds came from behind Albus and his two professors came through the flames. After introducing them, Albus checked his small monitor. Before the boys had left Hogwarts he discreetly placed tracking charms on them, just in case such a situation happened.

"They are in the Leaky Cauldron. Let's hurry." Dumbledore said before turning and with a loud crack disappeared. The other two teachers followed suit and cracked out of Arabella's house.

Andrew and Harry just arrived in the Leaky Cauldron and made their way through the horde of people trying to get to the back of the pub. They heard three loud cracks, but didn't bother looking as it could've been people having a fight or something. Finally making to the back Andrew pulled his wand out from his pocket and closed his eyes. He then tapped the stone in the same sequence he remembered Hagrid doing it and the wall moved, showing the way to Diagon Alley.

Still amazed by everything around them the two boys made their way to the Goblin bank nodding at the intimidating guards by the door.

Making their way inside, they walked up to one of the Goblins and asked if they could access their vaults.

"Keys?" the goblin asked as he looked over the two boys.

"Oh, yeah… we need our key don't we?" Andrew muttered as he remembered.

"How could you forget that but remember what we had for supper on our second night at Hogwarts?" Harry asked Andrew while rubbing his face.

"Oh, just because I have a photographic memory it doesn't mean that I remember every little thing. This was your plan, you should have remembered." Andrew retorted.

"Isn't there another way for us to access our vaults if we've forgotten our keys?" Harry asked the goblin.

But just before the Goblin could reply, three figures appeared in the doorway of the bank.

"Harry and Andrew Potter!" the boys froze. That sounded like… but no it couldn't be… Turning they saw a very angry looking professor McGonagall, a stern looking professor Flitwick and a relieved Dumbledore.

"What in the blazes are you two doing here?" McGonagall asked them angrily.

"We wanted to make a withdrawal." Andrew answered nonchalantly.

"How did you even get here?" Flitwick asked the boys.

"Taxi." Harry answered.

"Like the Knight bus?" the tiny man asked again.

"No, like an actual muggle taxi." Harry replied.

"Why do you need to make a withdrawal?" Dumbledore asked this time.

"For… stuff." Andrew replied.

Sighing, Dumbledore walked up to the teller and handed him a key. "Potter trust fund, please." He said before walking back.

Andrew looked at Dumbledore with suspicion.

"Why do you have our key?" Andrew asked.

"I am your magical Guardian, thus I make sure your accounts are safe." Dumbledore replied with a small smile.

"Uh-huh, well then…" Andrew muttered while he turned away from them.

"Thank you, Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick; I'm sure you had other matters to attend to before I called you." Dumbledore said smiling at his two friends.

"Well, we'll be seeing you at Hogwarts then Albus." Flitwick said before he walked out of the bank followed by McGonagall who shot a look at the boys one last time.

After going down to their vault and taking a few Galleons the two boys exited and asked the teller back on the surface whether they could get half of their money converted to Pounds. They were more than a little surprised when they left the bank with a total of 2500 pounds in a small pouch. Dumbledore followed the two boys out of the bank and offered to take them home. They denied saying they had one more stop to make.

Dumbledore nodded and told them to be safe to which he boys agreed to.

"Wait, how'd you find us?" Andrew asked after the thought had struck him.

"A magician never reveals his tricks." Dumbledore answered with a wild twinkle in his eye. He turned to leave when he saw a poster in the window of Flourish and Bott's. He smiled and made his way over, this would certainly be what Hogwarts needed this coming year.

Shrugging the two boys made their way out of the Alley and out of the pub to the sidewalk to signal another taxi to take them to the local mall. Once there the two boys commenced with their mission. They found an urban store that sold mountain bikes, BMX's, skate boards, helmets, protective pads and several other things. Walking in, they walked up to the teller, a sandy blonde man with a light dusting of facial hair and deep blue eyes.

"Hi, we're looking for two of the best skate boards you have." Andrew said as he walked up to him.

"Oh, we've got plenty of boards here, take your pick." The man said with an easy smile.

"Well, actually, we're new to the skating thing so, we were hoping you'd be able to help us out." Harry said to the man, he looked over the two boys and nodded.

"You guys want to start with the basics? It features a board with a single side curved to help beginners move around easier. Or if you're brave enough we've got pro skater boards here." He said looking at the two boys.

"We'll take the pro boards." The two boys said simultaneously.

"Alright, let me help you out here." The man said with a grin. After a few minutes the boys were helped with their skate boards, they were also given DC shoes, as the man told them it would be more comfortable for them. They got a few pads and a helmet each. After all their purchases the two boys grabbed a taxi back to Privet Drive. They got off a few houses away from number 4 and walked back. Not wanting the Dursley's to see what they bought, Andrew moved around to the back while Harry went upstairs to their room.

"Toss them up, I'll catch them." Harry said. The only person they had to worry about was Petunia, but it was late now and they knew Vernon would be back soon.

After a few tries the boys finally managed to get the equipment up to their room before Vernon arrived. Andrew walked into the backdoor and saw Dudley in the living room watching something of lesser importance on the T.V he made his way upstairs and sat with his brother as they stared at the skate boarding equipment.

"So, we're probably going to fail tomorrow in front of everyone aren't we?" Andrew asked already knowing the answer.

"Yeah, most probably."

They sat in more silence before Andrew noticed the guitar and looked at Harry. "We should've gotten a book on guitars while we were in town." He said easily.

"Oh yeah… oh well."

They were soon called down for supper though Petunia would've left them up there to starve had it been her choice. She couldn't help but be a little peeved at the fact that the boys were starting to put on bit of weight, not a lot but enough that they didn't look anorexic, even their height had improved. They now stood toe to toe with Dudley, minus his "big boned" structure. That meant her Duddy-dums wasn't getting enough food as he usual did.

After a quiet supper and cleaning the dishes the boys went back upstairs. Andrew called it a night while Harry continued to work on his mental structure, it was coming along brilliantly. And he would soon be ready for the next step.

The next morning, the boys got up earlier than usual and prepared a large breakfast just so the Dursleys would leave them alone for the day. They ate their fill and put the rest in the ovens warming draw before grabbing their skate stuff and left. They moved quickly getting to the skate park and walking up to the older boy who gave them a hard time the day before the Potters showed him their equipment. He looked shocked before grabbing one of the boards and inspecting it.

"These are high quality… How'd you two get 'em?" he asked.

"A present from our… uncle." Andrew supplied quickly.

"Well, your uncle knows his boards. Well, go on then, show us what you've got." He said handing the board back.

"That's the thing, today's our first time riding these so, we don't really know anything." Harry said rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"Oh, well trial and error." He said with a small grin.

"You're back are you? And you're novices? This outta be fun." The kid from yesterday said with an evil smirk.

"Mark, calm down, you were a newbie once too." The older boy said.

"Ian, come on…" the boy; Mark said angrily.

"Alright you two, how about this, Mark obviously doesn't have the patience to deal with you, and I'm a terrible newbie trainer, so we'll get you two some other mentors. Hey, Christy, Jessie, come over here!" Ian called two girls from a half pipe. The two girls got off the half pipe and rolled over to where the boys stood.

"What's up?" One of the girls asked as she stopped in front of them.

"You messed up my run!" the other yelled angrily as she arrived.

Ian completely ignored the second girl as he smiled at them.

"Jessie, Christy, I've got two newbies here who want to join our little skating community." Ian told them with a smile.

"Come back when you're off your training boards." The purple haired girl said impatiently as she turned to leave.

"Jessie, I'd suggest you at least check their boards before making an assumption." Ian said again sounding slightly cocky.

With a loud groan the girl turned and snatched Andrew's board out of his hand and turned it over before her mouth dropped open and her eyes widened in shock.

"Wha-What?! These are the best boards on the market! Holy hell they cost an arm and a tit! How'd you two get these boards?"

"Uncle." The boys replied with a shrug.

"So, think you'll want to teach them the basics now?" Ian asked before turning, hopping onto his board and rolling away not even waiting for a reply.

"Well, this may be more fun than I originally thought." Jessie muttered.

Christy had been quiet through the entire ordeal and finally looked at the two boys.

"Let's get started, shall we?"

The boys agreed and put on their helmets but were stopped when they reached for their elbow pads.

"You can't learn anything if you have a safety net." Jessie said with a wicked smirk.

"But you can wear your knee pads." The pink and yellow haired Christy told the boys sweetly.

"Okay, now what?" Andrew asked.

"Get on your board."

They followed the instructions and waited.

"Now the first thing you're going to learn is balance." Jessie said.

"And just how are we going to- shit!" Andrew was cut off when Jessie suddenly pushed him and in his surprise the board flew from under him, causing him to land on his back hard. He groaned as the wind left his lungs, he heard Harry yelp before turning and seeing him on his back as well. He then heard Jessie's taunting voice and Christy's satanic laughter.

"Trial and error, of course."

He turned to Harry. "Brother, I believe we're in hell."

"I knew it the moment I saw them smirk." Harry replied breathlessly.

By the end of their training day the two boys were absolutely hammered and felt like a ton of boulders. They trudged to number four, really not feeling up to hiding their boards from the Dursleys. The sun was just about to set and they walked into the house and made their way up the stairs until they were called back by Petunia.

"And just where have you two been all day?!" she asked in a loud shriek.

"Oh you know, raping woman, murdering children… the usual." Andrew answered with a dark smirk.

"We were at the skate park." Harry told her when he saw her nervous look at Andrew's statement.

"And where did you get money for skate boards?!" Dudley demanded to know.

"Okay I'm not in the mood for this and… hold on, is Dud wearing a suit? And why do you look… semi-presentable tonight?" Andrew asked in confusion.

"Boys!" Vernon's booming voice cut off anything Petunia was about to say. "A business associate will be coming for dinner which means that you two hoodlums will not be here when they arrive, your supper is in the oven and you will eat it in your rooms and will not come down for anything! You will upstairs in your room pretending as though you don't exist! Am I clear?!" Vernon asked in a threatening tone.

"Yes sir." They replied before heading into the kitchen and getting their food.

They went past the Dursleys barely registering Vernon as he reminded them that they had better be silent and pretend as though they don't exist. The boys had just shut the door when they hear the front door open and Petunia layering the fake pleasantries on thick. They shook their head and turned and then they saw it; a small creature happily bouncing on their beds as if it were a child. The creature stopped and turned to them.

"Harry Potter…" the creature uttered the name as if it were that of a God's.

"What's a house-elf doing in our room?" Andrew asked ignoring the little creature.

"Not exactly sure, but we know it knows my name." Harry replied.

"Harry Potter sir, I's be Dobby and I is here to beg sir, do not return to Hogwarts." Dobby said in a desperate tone.

Andrew felt a little bit peeved that he was being unsubtly ignored.

"Oh, what do you mean Harry shouldn't return to Hogwarts?" Andrew asked.

"Oh, Master Andrew Potter sir, I is meaning both of you, do not return. A great evil is brewing." Dobby said bowing to Andrew slightly.

"How do you know this Dobby?" Harry asked. He would soon regret it though.

"Dobby, cannot say… I… I is being a bad elf!" Dobby wailed loudly affectively scaring the two boys and making them almost drop their food.

"Dobby, Dobby be quiet!" Harry begged.

"Shut up!" Andrew commanded and was surprised when Dobby stopped crying and the tears stopped falling. "Calm your shit and tell us what's going on!" Andrew demanded again.

"D-Dobby cannot sir, but the great Potters must stay away from Hogwarts this year." The little guy squeaked desperately.

"We can't Dobby; our relatives don't care about us! We have to go back to Hogwarts, back to our friends." Harry said to the emotional elf.

"Friends who don't even write to the Potters?" Dobby asked with a quirked brow.

"Wait a minute, how'd you know about that?" Harry asked advancing on the elf.

Dobby's eyes widened as he reached into his rags and pulled out an entire stack of letters; the top one Andrew noticed, had Hermione's hand writing.

"Dobby, give those back." Andrew said slowly while extending his hand out.

"N-No, Dobby can't."

"You'd better give them here you little bastard before I step on you!" Andrew threatened. That didn't work though as Dobby squeaked and rushed out of the door and ran down the hall.

"It's probably just the cat…" They heard Vernon say to his guest.

"Oh no…" Harry breathed worriedly.

They ran out of the room after the elf and finally reached the stairs where they slowly moved down the steps trying to avoid making any type of noise. Then they noticed Dobby staring at the cake on the kitchen counter.

"You wouldn't…" Andrew stated in horror.

"Masters Harry Potter and Andrew Potter must promise not to go to Hogwarts."

"We can't do that, Dobby!" Harry whispered desperately.

"Then Dobby has no choice." The house-elf said in a sad tone.

He snapped his fingers and the cake started to hover over the counter and then started moving on its own to the guests in the living room, whose back was turned to the kitchen.

"Shit…" the boys muttered angrily while moving towards the floating cake hoping to catch it before it reached its destination. The boys saw the looks the Dursleys shot them but they still tried to remain calm even under the circumstances. Harry was just about to grab the cake when it suddenly fell and landed directly on the head of potential business partner's wife.

Andrew turned to glare at Dobby only to see him fade away. He turned back to the scene in front of him and dreaded what would happen next.

"I'm sorry, they're my sister-in-law's kids, they aren't all that well in the head and that's why we kept them upstairs. They aren't too fond of strangers you see…" Andrew stopped listening after that, knowing that no threat of magic could stop the potential thrashing the two boys would receive.

After the ex-potential business partner left, Vernon's face went from cheery to livid and from pale to purple in a matter of a few seconds.

"You… bloody… bastards!"

"Look, we can explain…" Andrew tried but was shut up when a hard fist connected with his jaw sending him crashing to the floor.

"Uncle Vernon, wait…" Harry didn't finish either as he received an intense slap across the face from his Aunt which caused him to stagger slightly.

An owl flew through the open window at that moment and the two adults froze, scared that the freaks knew what they had just done. That is they were worried until the letter opened itself and started speaking.

"Andrew and Harry Potter we have detected the use of magic in your area. As you are underage wizards this is illegal. Should you once again break this law, you will be expelled from the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Long live the ministry,

Delores Jane Umbridge

Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic."

Andrew's eyes doubled in size as he turned to look at his relatives. They looked pissed! He grabbed Harry and pulled him up the stairs as he heard Vernon and Dudley stampeding towards them.

"Shit, shit, shit! Dammit! God Damn you, Dobby!" Andrew yelled angrily as he pulled Harry into their room and shut the door before locking it.

So I decided to go another route of how things would've gone in this H.P universe. What do you think? Dobby; while being one of my favourite characters was also a complete dick in the first half of the second book. Honestly, what's the point of protecting someone by putting them in danger? (P.S this is also why Dumbledore will never be truly redeemable in my opinion.)- You can't say you're protecting a person by placing them with people who hurt them or placing them in situations where one mistake might possibly kill them. That's like shaving your head to prevent getting a haircut, the logic isn't there!

Thank you guys for reading, also, I just wanted to tell you all that I AM planning on breaking the fandom/cannon characters. So: Daphne, Tracey, Fleur, Krum, Cedric and all the others I can't remember right now will not be how people normally perceive them; I will be recreating them to fit this universe!
