Thank you to all the new followers of the story! I hope you're all in it for the long ride!

Last Time on: Black and White

"Will it hurt someone?" Harry asked caving in.

"No, not physically, but it will be embarrassing." Andrew replied before telling them his idea and he had to admit the smile on the faces of the people around him even Harry's made him sure that this prank needed to happen.

Chapter 20: Friends and Fiends.

Ginny was the youngest member of the Weasley clan. Being the only female born to her mother made her the permanent baby of the family, constantly looked after and doted on by her older brothers and her parents. When she was still a little tyke she enjoyed the attention, milking it whenever possible. Often she would do something wrong, then push the blame on the youngest male in the house; Ron, and when he became angry at her, she would simply shoot him her famous puppy pout look and he would look the other way, accepting the blame for her. To say the youngest Weasley was a little spoiled

would be an accurate description. When she then turned five her mother started telling her the stories of two boys; one having a mop of untidy raven hair, eyes as green as the grasslands in Ireland and a smile the was soft and inviting and his brother who was never really described in the books that often, all she knew was that he was called Andrew- she often wondered why that was- she had inadvertently fallen in love with him.

So when she came downstairs to ask her mother for her jumper and she came face to face with a boy with unruly black hair, a sharp looking face, high cheek bones and green eyes shining behind wire rimmed glasses, she knew exactly who she was talking to. Her idol, her knight in shining armor; Harry Potter. Unable to think of anything to say the poor girl gave a feeble 'eep' and bolted from the room. On her way out she heard a small chuckle and blushed harder thinking they were laughing at her. She got into her room and shut the door before leaning against it. She knew she had to go back down for breakfast before her mother came up to drag her down herself. Sighing, she shook her hair making her red locks fly around and strengthened her resolve. Changing quickly, she made her way back downstairs only to find Harry and a boy she didn't know in a whispered discussion.

Ginny made her way over to the table and sat down giving a mumbled "Hello" before she got herself some porridge. Glancing up she saw both Harry and the other boy watching her in what she assumed was curiosity. Right, she hadn't introduced herself yet.

"S-sorry, err, I'm Ginny." she said nervously watching the two boys. Then a smile broke out on both their faces. Ginny felt a weight lifted off her shoulders at the sight.

"Nice to meet you Ginny, I'm Harry and this is my brother Andrew."

"Hi."

Ginny felt her brain freeze.

"E-Excuse me?" she asked feebly.

"Oh, it's alright. I'm Harry Potter and this moron besides me is Andrew Potter, my brother."

"Who are you calling a moron?"

Again Ginny's brain froze. She looked between the two boys in front of her. The boy with the wind blown hair was Andrew? And the dark skinned boy was Harry?

"But... But the books said..."

"Oh those are just misguided works of fiction." 'Harry' stated.

"Yeah, good lord, imagine if I looked like him." 'Andrew' said with a grin.

Ginny couldn't get her mind around what she was told it was then that logic and reason took over and she broke down what she heard.

"No, that isn't possible!" She said pointing her finger at the two boys. "James and Lily were both white, and it is a known fact that Harry Potter looks exactly like James Potter and has Lily Potter's eyes, and I've seen both of them because my mum and dad pictures of them! So that means you're Harry Potter!" Ginny accused pointing her finger at the raven-haired boy.

The two boys eyes were as wide as plates when she finished her rant, she felt her cheeks turn red at their looks.

"Didn't really think it through all the way did you?" Harry asked turning to his brother.

"Good God, I didn't think she had that much information about mum and dad!" Andrew responded with an impressed grin.

Ginny looked between the two boys with a shocked impression.

"Ah, it was a good attempt boys but she did grow up with us, isn't that right Freddy."

"Correct, George! But we must applaud the young ones for their spirit." The twins had just come back downstairs and had heard the whole ordeal.

"So... so you're really Harry Potter then?" she asked pointing at the raven-haired boy.

"Yeah, and he's my brother Andrew."

The hazel eyed preteen grinned at her and gave her a lazy salute.

"Alright, come on, you've had your fun, come help us get rid of those blasted gnomes. Ron's probably grumbling up a storm." Fred said as he tossed the Potter boys a pair of gardening gloves each.

"We almost got you!" Andrew stated standing and putting the gloves on.

"Almost isn't going to cut it with me!" Ginny replied feeling some confidence creep up in her.

Andrew froze and turned to the girl slowly. "Is that a declaration of a challenge?" he asked in a dangerous whisper.

Ginny almost backed out until she saw the laughter in his eyes. She turned to look at Harry who also looked interested.

"You're so on!" she replied with her own shit eating grin.

Grinning back Andrew turned to Harry and smiled. "Fine, you've just made yourself a mortal prank enemy. Be alert, because you never know when we might strike."

With that the two boys left the kitchen but not before Harry gave her a small wave and a nod. Ginny smiled and turned back to her breakfast, she had finally met Harry and Andrew and she couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts with them in a few days.

HP-AP-HP-AP-HP-AP

Out in the garden the Weasley boys were in the middle of helping the Potters learn how to get rid garden gnomes.

"So essentially we just grab them by the feet spin around to gather momentum and just toss them over the fence?" Andrew asked.

"Yep, that's the long and short of it." Ron said.

With a shrug the boys started throwing the gnomes out of the garden, it made them chuckle how the little creatures would grumble in an annoyed manner as they were pulled from the ground and yell angrily as they flew through the air out of the yard.

But eventually this became boring and the twins gave a small suggestion.

"A competition?" Harry asked them.

"Yes-"

"so the person who throws the furthest gnome wins,"

"but the person who throws the shortest gets a punishment."

"Furthest from our throw point or the fence?" Harry asked.

"We'll just make it the fence to be fair." The twins answered with a smile.

The boys all shared a look. They weren't Gryfindors for nothing.

So the competition started and Fred and George went first, they threw an impressive 50 meters.

"How are we supposed to beat that?!" Ron asked angrily.

"You're not-" Fred started with a grin.

"Just don't come in last place." George finished with the same grin.

Ron went next and Andrew would claim it was because of his size and that he had been doing this for years that he managed to get 30 meters.

Harry went next and much to Andrew's chagrin; he had to admit that when he actually tried, Harry absorbed information and technique like a bloody sponge because he had managed a faithful 24 meters.

How?!

Andrew sighed, he and Harry were more or less the same build and strength so he should be able to nail his length but he hoped he could beat him. Andrew hated losing.

So he sighed and started looking for a gnome, quickly finding one he grabbed it by it's feet, ignoring the grumbling, he sighed again and started his wind up. He swung the creature above his head a few times until he felt the momentum try and take over. He held on and brought his arms down to chest level and started swinging the gnome faster. He felt good about this, just as he was about to let go, something caught his eye. By the tree line of the local forest, he wouldn't have even noticed it if it hadn't been so prominent. This split second distraction caused him to lose concentration; he slipped and this caused his gnome to fly upwards instead of at an angle. The poor creature landed a lousy 5 meters from the fence. Meaning, Andrew lost the bet.

"No, that's not fair!" He stated angrily.

"You lost, fair and square man." Ron said with a grin.

Andrew wanted to slap the freckles off his face. Turning to his brother he found Harry looking relieved.

"There was something watching us, right there-" Andrew stopped, it wasn't there anymore.

"Oh, really, something watching us?" Fred asked sarcastically.

"I'm serious!" Andrew persisted. "Whatever, what's the punishment?" he grumbled knowing there was no way to prove his distraction.

The twins shared a look and were about to respond when they heard their mum call out to them to come inside, deciding to postpone the punishment until a later date the boys went inside to find three owls sitting on the kitchen table.

The large brown owl that looked a little... err, lost to Harry and Andrew carried five letters on it's legs.

The next owl was an almost perfect snowy white owl who only had one letter but had a suspiciously large black smudge on her left side and was currently glaring at the pitch black owl who had a blank look as if she didn't notice her counterpart at all. She also carried only one letter and stared intently at Andrew.

The boys looked at the birds and just couldn't help but wonder what had happened.

Walking over Harry carefully approached his lovely Hedwig and pet her head gently.

"Hey girl, what happened?"

The owl in question hooted angrily flapping her wings and finally gave a sharp bark of irritation before sticking her leg out to her wizard. Harry simply untied the letter and watched as Hedwig went back to glaring.

"Arc, what did you do?" Andrew asked walking up to his own owl.

The proud black bird simply huffed and gave an unconvincingly nonchalant bark before she too stuck her leg out for Andrew.

The Weasley's watched the interaction and untied their own letters before turning back to the Potter boys.

"They're your owls?" Ginny asked the two boys.

"Yeah, she's Hedwig and this is Arcanum." Harry answered pointing to each bird respectfully.

"They're so pretty." the youngest Weasley said in admiration.

The two birds preened under the compliment and hooted at her in what sounded like thanks.

"They're also attention hogs." Andrew stage whispered causing the two birds to turn to him with an ugly look causing the others in the room to laugh slightly.

After the two owls got their attention they flew out to the barn where they decided to spend the rest of the summer.

Opening their letters they discovered that they were the book list for the year.

Frowning Andrew noticed something about most of the books for their Defense lesson.

"Who in Merlin's name is Gilderoy Lockhart?" Ron asked with a frown.

"Don't you ever listen Ron? Mum's been going on and on about him, he's the new famous author who went on all those adventures! He's been voted as Witch Weekly's newest and most eligible bachelor." Ginny said sounding utterly excited about it.

Andrew frowned. "Well, he'd better be good for the amount his books cost. Good God."

"He's right mum, it's going to be expensive." Fred stated giving his mother the list.

Sighing Molly nodded. "We'll make it through, we always do."

Deciding that the day after next would be better to collect the books as it was the last day of the summer and everyone would rush to Diagon Alley today and tomorrow, they opted for the day that would have the least people there. Andrew thought it would be smarter to give out the learning material a week or two before the end of Summer would be smarter than a few days; even more proof that Dumbledore was either senile or slowly going in that direction.

The following day was not really major, the boys had slept in Charlie and Bill Weasley's old room and woke up the next morning doing their regular morning exercises, nothing major just a few push ups and crunches followed by a delicious breakfast by Mrs Weasley. They were then roped into a makeshift Quidditch game by the other children in the house sans Percy who was in his room studying, that meant it was an even three – three split. Harry, Ron and George vs Andrew, Ginny and Fred. Since they didn't want any bludgers hurting their little sister the boys decided the game would be played with Ginny and George playing the Chasers for their respective teams, along with Andrew and Harry (there was no need for a seeker just yet). That left Ron and Fred to play Keepers for their team.

The game started and it started with a bang. The moment the Quaffle was thrown into the air there was only a brief moment of nothing before everyone moved for the hollow ball. Andrew and Harry decided that using their Nimbus brooms gave them too much of an advantage and opted to use the old family brooms, so they were now using the Cleansweep 2000's but that was quickly proven to do nothing to the boys as they flew. The Weasley's were unable to believe the rate the two boys pushed the brooms with little to no restriction.

Harry quickly gained possession of the Quaffle but found himself blocked by Ginny, without warning the twin dove towards the ground with Ginny quickly following suite she caught up to him and was about to swipe the ball when he suddenly pulled up and threw the ball to George who had just made it past Andrew and made his way towards the three goals, with a fake out Fred dove for the ball only to see it headed to the opposite goal. 10 – 0 to team Harry. Harry grinned as George whooped in happiness. Then the grin dropped as he felt a chill go down his spine. Looking up he saw his brother with his hand on his chin and with a smirk.

'What are you up to?' Harry thought with a frown.

'Play the game and find out.' Andrew responded with a quirk of his eyebrow.

"Ginny, you ready?" Andrew called out to the youngest Weasley who nodded her head and with a look of determination. "Let's go!"

With that battle cry Fred tossed the ball over to Andrew who instantly threw to Ginny. This play caused George to pause in surprise for a second, and that was all Andrew needed as he flew passed the twin, looking back at Ginny he gave a nod and saw that the female redhead saw the plan. She pushed forward a little more before throwing the Quaffle back to Andrew who was now facing his brother.

Harry stood his ground ready for whatever Andrew had planned, but nope, Andrew stopped dead in his tracks and gave a mighty heave as he threw the ball way over Harry and the goal posts, unsure what was happening Harry turned back to his brother and noticed that he was still there, but why that would be perfect for... where was Ginny?

Turning back to the ball he saw that Ron was distracted by it, then a red blur snatched the ball out of the air and back to the left goal post and there was Andrew ready for the volley, Ron dove only for Andrew to volley the back to Ginny who flew over the middle post, caught the ball the scored a goal while simultaneously performing a corkscrew.

Ron froze in amazement. What had just happened?

Andrew and Ginny celebrated with their goalie Fred who was just as surprised by the play.

The match went on and eventually they were called down for lunch by Mrs Weasley the score 120 – 110 Ron was frustrated that even though they had technically won every time they the other team would score right after, if his mum hadn't called them, they probably would've been playing for hours constantly leading then drawing.

As they sat down for lunch Ron asked Ginny how they did it.

"Andrew is the one who gives us the plays." she replied with a smile.

"That makes sense." Harry said with a grumble. He also knew that Andrew could've kept the game at a draw forever if he so wished it.

"How?!" Ron asked.

The topic of their discussion walked into the kitchen after having to go to the bathroom.

"How what?" Andrew asked Ron.

"How did you keep the game tied all the time? We scored then you just whispered to them and you're suddenly tied?"

Andrew chuckled. "I'm a good planner, that simple." At Ron's disbelieving look Andrew sighed and looked at his sandwiches longingly. "Fine, take your sixth play for example; George and Harry kept passing the ball between the two of them constantly making us unsure on which on would charge the goal and as an added bonus they switched positions, so that also threw us off until Harry dove making me chase him before he threw the ball to George who could – no offense Ginny – out fly Ginny pretty well and eventually scored."

"Okay, but where were the weaknesses?" George asked.

"Okay, firstly, I'm guessing you're right handed; when you were forced to throw with your less confident hand I could see it instantly. So I told Ginny to keep you on the right hand side to force you to use your weaker hand to try and defend. Then there's Harry, his biggest strength is diving, so I never give him an opportunity to do it. I always keep the Quaffle up in the air around him, constantly throwing it higher rather than going lower. Afterward I would give Ginny a minute to see an opening and throw the ball in a way that isn't logical, like volley it or use someone's head; sorry about that by the way." Andrew pointed to Ron who rubbed the side of his head where a small bump was forming.

"After she has her opening we just kind of play it by ear. My purpose is to just get us by the posts." Andrew finished with a shrug and went back to his beef sandwich with a satisfied grin. He shared a look with his brother and Harry frowned slightly. Andrew could always find a weak spot and exploit it in a way that worked for him. That always scared the raven-haired teen about his brother.

The rest of the day was spent playing other random games with the Weasley's. Soon enough a nightfall came and everyone was sent to bed early. Andrew lay in his bed feeling as though tomorrow's trip to Diagon Alley was going to be utterly boring and uneventful. Maybe he could go to Ollivander's since he and his brother had finished their books on wand lore he had more questions for the weird old wand maker. Soon enough he felt himself drift off and dream about the weird thing he saw at the edge of the forest the day before.

0-oo-0-oo-0-oo-0

After a strenuous morning which included; explosions from the twins room, somehow mistaken clothing which resulted in Ron wearing Ginny's clothes... Andrew made sure to keep that image in his mind for a particularly bad day. All in all it was a chaotic morning, currently the Weasleys along with the two Potters were standing in front of a fireplace.

"Now then, we're going to be taking the floo, alright? Dears, you do know how to use the floo, yes?" Mrs Weasley asked kindly.

"Yes ma'am, we used it towards the end of last year." Harry responded.

"Alright then, why don't you too go first?" she suggested while holding out the pot of floo powder.

Taking a fist full, Andrew stepped in the fireplace and called out the destination he wanted to go to and immediately saw a blinding green flash and the sudden appearance of the Leaky Cauldron fireplace... he wasn't ready for the instant reveal, losing his footing he collapsed landing flat on his face.

Letting out a groan he couldn't even get his cursing out of his system before he felt another body slam on top of his, evidently Harry hadn't expected the sudden appearance as well.

"Good merciful Lord." Harry moaned as the air had been knocked out of him.

After the red headed family had exited the floo channel and the Weasley spawn had all had their fill of laughter the entire party made their way through the back of the pub and entered the ever colorful Alley.

First stop was Gringotts to withdraw some money for all they needed. Stepping into the giant building they all approached a teller who asked for their keys, which once again found the boys unable to produce theirs. "This is an annoying turn out." Harry mumbled.

But Mrs Weasley was more than happy to pull the Potter keys out of her coat and hand them to the teller across from them.

"How the shitting hell did she get our keys?!"

"Good question, didn't Dumbledore have them last time?" Harry asked recalling their visit to the bank earlier that year.

Opting to nod Andrew turned to his brother and gave him a contempt look.

Following the Goblin – his name was Brinkshaw. They were lead to their vaults where Harry and Andrew were once again reminded of their absurd wealth. Feeling uncomfortable they filled their pouches with gold quickly and left the vault. In a quick private conversation they offered Mrs Weasley any help they could with the payment of the school materials. Thanking them, the older lady rejected their offer politely before smiling brightly and giving each a small hug.

Making their way out of the bank the party found their way to Florish and Blotts where they, unsurprisingly ran into Hermione. When the bookish girl spotted them she made a direct bee line for them, hugging Harry and Ron first and greeting Mrs Weasley; Mr Weasley who had just met his family at the book store, agreed to hold their place in case there was a line. Luckily he did as it seemed as though the line stretched out of the store and disappeared into the distance.

Finally Hermione turned to Andrew and smiled, "Hello Andrew." she greeted happily.

"Mio, you alright?" he asked with his own smile.

"I'm great, my parents are here." she said pointing at two people who looked similar to Hermione in their own separate way, but together their genes would certainly make the girl who currently stood in front of them.

"Cool..." Andrew replied with a shrug. "I don't know what to do with that information."

"Come on, I want to introduce you guys to them." she stated excitedly grabbing Andrew and dragging him towards the couple. Deciding not to fight but also not wanting to do this alone, Andrew grabbed Harry who in turn grabbed Ron and soon there was a train of children pulling each other towards the doors of the book store.

They didn't get far though as a voice loudly proclaimed.

"Great Scott! Is that...? No, it is! Harry Potter!" The train paused to see a man with the most obnoxious smile and way over pampered hair headed towards them.

"Err..." Harry stumbled.

"Come now Harry, smile for the camera!" The man said cockily. There was a bright flash which left Harry blinded before he was practically dragged into the book store.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, today marks a historic moment as young Harry here as come to this wonderful establishment looking to buy some of my greatest works, only for him to receive the ENTIRE collection, for free!" The man said gesturing grandly. There were swoons from the ladies in the audience – which included Hermione and Mrs Weasley. Andrew rolled his eyes and looked back to the man and his brother.

Harry looked down at the books and noticed the Authors name. An idea formed in his mind. "Excuse me sir, but what about my brother and our friends? I mean it wouldn't be fair for just me to receive this... generous gift." Harry said looking the man directly in the eye daring him to object. Thanks for those lessons, bro.

Andrew blinked stared and blinked again. Did his brother just... Did honest Harry just push this man into a corner?! Harry saw the opportunity and effectively twisted the poor bastards arm into an unfortunate position. Without realizing it, Andrew had a massive grin in place.

"What are you smiling at?" Ron asked looking at Andrew.

"Harry just manipulated that great peacock into some free books."

"Okay so?"

"Hermione, please remind our mutual friend here, who that man is."

"Honestly Ronald, that's Gilderoy Lockhart! Our defense professor for this year." Hermione stated with a frown.

"Oh... Oh!" Ron exclaimed the pieces all falling into place.

Back with Harry and the Peacock. Gilderoy looked at the boy in front of him and suddenly felt his neck get sweaty.

"Now then Harry, if I gave your friends that type of treatment I'd have to give it to everyone else."

"Really, then why do I warrant such special treatment? What makes me different from the others? Didn't Andrew my brother right there," Harry stated pointing at Andrew Potter. "Why didn't he receive any? I'm sorry I'm not looking for publicity or handouts. I'm a strong believer in equality! Good day to you sir!" Harry said strongly as he placed the books back on the table and made to walk away.

Lockhart, saw the crowd look baffled, and how some of them agreed with Harry on his views. He was losing the crowd and quickly, he needed to do something.

"You- you're right Harry! Absolutely right! And therefore, all my books are now free for all women and children!" Lockhart announced loudly.

Finally all the cheering died down, and everyone got their books.

"I cannot believe you did that." Andrew said with a large amount of pride evident in his tone.

"Well, living with a master manipulator for 12 years, you pick up a few things." Harry said with a grin.

"Harry!"

"Oh calm down, Hermione! You got your books at a major discount!" Ron said irritated.

"But..."

"I'm sorry, would you have preferred paying 13 galleons per book?" Andrew asked with a raised brow.

"Well, no but..."

"All I did was let everyone know he was being unfair." Harry stated with a shrug.

Hermione was about to retort when her name was called out. Turning the doe eyed girl smiled.

"Over here mum."

Just then a kind looking lady walked towards the group of kids, Jane Granger introduced herself to her daughters friends and called for her husband.

After a bit of small talk with the kids and the elder Weasleys another brown haired man walked towards them. He came up to Jane and gave her a kiss on the cheek before introducing himself as Michael Granger.

"Okay so mum, dad, these are my friends, Ron Weasley and Harry and Andrew Potter." she said smiling as she pointed at each boy.

Instantly Jane got slightly worried, three boys and one girl. She wasn't worried about them hurting her, well not completely but her biggest worry was the potential competition the boys would have over their only female friend. It was obvious that they were all close to her but Andrew was slightly in the lead being her daughters intellectual equal, that gave them a bond, but as she heard, Harry was no slouch either, he just needed to understand the work a little more before he grasped it completely and Ronald, well, opposites do attract. She shook her musings away, God they were only 11 going on 12 dating would hopefully not have to be a factor for a long while.

"Hello boys, its a pleasure to meet you all." Jane greeted with a smile. Then she wondered why she hadn't heard her husband verbally threaten these boys yet, when she looked over she saw his face and instantly got worried.

"Michael, sweetheart? Are you alright?" Jane asked tapping his shoulder slightly.

"Dad?" Hermione called uncertainly.

Michael stepped closer to the boys, staring intently between Harry and Andrew. He reached out a shaky hand before pulling it back quickly.

"Err, I feel uncomfortable, so..." Andrew stated as his nerves acting up.

"Is it really you?" Michael asked. "James? Raymond?"

Harry and Andrew's eyes grew wide, but not only theirs, the Weasley parents also felt their jaws drop at that.

"How do you know our dad's names?" Andrew demanded stepping closer to the man.

He didn't get an answer as Michael felt a sharp pain in his mind before collapsing to the ground.

"Dad?!"

"Michael?!"

Hey people! Yes, Hermione's dad knows something... but what?! Thank you to all the new followers to this story! Now then here's the Omake, have fun!

OMAKE: An Owl's Duty!

Hedwig and Arcanum sat in the Weasley barn, resting after their long flight from Surrey. It was then that the two birds felt a sudden pull, in the direction of Hogwarts, in a flash the two birds set off and flew towards the pull.

Together the two birds soared through the air, someone had something they needed to send to their masters and they would be damned should they let any other owl near their people! The flight was overall uninteresting for the two predatory birds, stopping every now and again for some food or a drink of water.

After a few hours the birds finally made it to the school and made their way to Deputy Headmistress McGonagall's office.

The Transfiguration professor obviously wasn't expecting to see the two owls as she stared at them in shock before looking at their legs.

"Either of you have a letter for me?" she asked.

"Hoot" Hedwig responded.

"I'll take that as a 'no', are you expecting a letter?" she asked trying again.

"Woo Woo!" Arcanum barked.

"So... that's a yes... Alright, I must say, you two are a lot smarter than I had previously thought. Thankfully you aren't like your owners, little trouble makers." McGonagall said with a small smile.

The owls only had to wait a few minutes as Minerva went to collect the book list for the upcoming school year.

The professor had seemed to have forgotten the sandwich she had been enjoying before the owls came in as there was half left on her plate... Arc noticed this. She hopped over to the sandwich and gave it a tentative sniff.

Hedwig gave a bark of protest. Arcanum turned to her 'sister' and huff before turning back to the sandwich, it was a bacon sandwich... she loved bacon.

Hedwig, knew Arc would try something. So she hopped over to Arcanum and bumped her away from the sandwich. The black owl didn't like that one bit as she hooted angrily and shoved Hedwig back to which the amber eyed owl responded with a slap of her wing...

It quickly went downhill from there.

Professor McGonagall walked back into her office, luckily the Weasley owl had already been at Hogwarts so they sent Errol off with the family mail. She approached her door and heard what sounded like a cat being strangled.

Instantly thinking of poor Mrs Norris she quickly walked into the office and found her office in a complete mess; files and paperwork strewed about the floor, the little trinkets on her desk were now on the floor and what was probably the weirdest sight: Hedwig gripping Arcanum's tail feathers as the black owl snapped at her forgotten half eaten sandwich. As she was about to intervene Hedwig pulled Arc back violently and which resulted in Andrew's owl turning mid-air, grabbing Hedwig by the neck and flying them both into the fireplace where Arcanum held Hedwig's body to the ashes and rubbed the black substance in her pure white feathers.

"Alright that is enough! Honestly!"

The two birds pulled away from one another and flew back to the desk sitting as though nothing had just happened. Didn't help though as both birds received a stern talking to by the aged witch. After everything was said and done, they were then handed the Hogwarts book list. The transfiguration teacher tried removing as much as the smudge off of Hedwig as she could, but it seemed charmed onto her feathers. She spared a glance at Arcanum who was still staring at he sandwich, sighing she pushed her plate towards the owl and watched as she happily munched away at the bacon inside, and as an apparent apology, she gave Hedwig half of the remaining bacon... she refused and Arc didn't let it faze her.

Finally the two owls left the office and flew off into the distance.

McGonagall reminded herself to ask whether a potential familiar could pick up their partners personality. Those owls reminded her way to much of their partners.

HELLO AGAIN! Yes now you know why Hedwig was angry at Arcanum earlier!

So, sorry for not updating, but I did say that life is Hella hectic right now (I've just played Life is Strange, so I might be saying 'Hella' a lot more lately... BTW Them feels bro!)
