Hello Every one, welcome back, no witty words to start this off with so let's just jump into this.
I don't own the HP universe.
Previously on Black and White:
"Is it really you?" Michael asked. "James? Raymond?"
Harry and Andrew's eyes grew wide, but not only theirs, the Weasley parents also felt their jaws drop at that.
"How do you know our dad's names?" Andrew demanded stepping closer to the man.
He didn't get an answer as Michael felt a sharp pain in his mind before collapsing to the ground.
"Dad?!"
"Michael?!"
Chapter 21:Don't be Dumb!
After Michael Granger had collapsed someone had the decency to call in the Aurors who took the Grangers to St Mungo's. The Weasley's and Potter boys had wanted to go along with them, but were turned down; they wouldn't be able to be in the room with Michael, Hermione and Jane as they weren't family and they would only be allowed in after the Healers had determined what had exactly happened to him.
After they had popped off to the magical Hospital, the others who were left behind just stood there unsure on what to do next. That is until Ginny suggested getting her wand, to redirected everyone's worries. Molly and Arthur quickly agreed. The group turned and headed towards Ollivander's wand store before Harry grabbed Andrew's arm.
"What's wrong?" the dark skinned boy asked in a short tone.
"Don't you think we should... I don't know get Hermione's books for her? I don't think she's in the mental state to remember her books for once." Harry said seriously.
"True, but what if she's already gotten her books? I mean Lockhart's crap were the last things we got." Andrew said sounding unsure. "How about, we send Dumbledore a quick message letting him know what's happened and the fact that Hermione might need some of her books." he suggested.
"Eh, I suppose that's the best option. Well we'd better-" Harry was cut off when the sound of glass breaking echoed through the alley.
Turning to investigate the sound the two boys were surprised to see Mr Weasley breathing heavily as another blond haired man covering one side of his face and some glittering pieces of glass lingering on his cloak from where he had broken the store window.
"Err, we should probably-" Harry suggested not needing to finish his statement as Andrew continued.
"Yeah, we probably should."
Rushing over they stood just behind Arthur Weasley as he glared at the blond man with a very noticable bruise forming on his cheek.
"Damn..." Andrew muttered as he saw the near black spot form on the man's face.
"Who is that man and also what happened?" Harry asked turning to Ron.
"That... is Lucius Malfoy." Andrew coughed but it sounded suspiciously like he was covering up a laugh. "He's Draco's dad. And to what happened, well he had apparently seen what happened with Hermione's dad and made some... crude comments, some shite about muggle's learning their place and not wandering into places they aren't meant to be. Dad didn't like that and so he told him to shove off, and that eventually spiralled into this." Ron finished pointing at the man who was still glaring at the patriarch of the Weasley family.
"Arthur, to think, you would resort to muggle means to resolve your anger. You have truly abandoned your dignity as a pureblood." Lucius stated, speaking for the first time since the Potters arrived. His voice was smooth and quiet with practiced grace littered with in. It honestly gave Andrew a few shivers.
"At least I have my dignity as a man, Lucius." Arthur responded coolly.
With little effort, Malfoy straightened his collar and ran a hand through his hair, getting it once again under control.
He made to leave until his eyes fell on Harry and he froze. Walking towards the boy Lucius would not break eye contact. Arthur blocked his path to Harry by placing his body in Lucius's way.
"Now now, Arthur, I would simply like a chance to introduce myself to the savior of the Wizarding world." Lucius said slightly louder than needed, gaining the eyes of many more of the inhabitants of the Alley who had chosen to ignore their earlier brawl.
"I don't think that would be a good-"
"It's alright, Mr Weasley." Harry said firmly.
"Are you sure, Harry. You don't need-"
"I believe the boy said it would be acceptable, Arthur." Lucius said cutting Arthur off.
After a slight moment of hesitation, Arthur stepped aside to let Lucius and Harry Potter meet for the first time. As the tall blond man stepped closer to Harry, his body language seemed to shift slightly, it was as if he were a predator approaching an unknown foe.
"Ah, Mr Potter, it is an absolute pleasure." He said as he held out a hand.
Harry looked to his side looking for Andrew, only to find him not there. Frowning, he turned back to Lucius. 'Dude, where are you?' he thought desperately.
'It's alright, if he tries anything he'll regret it.' Came Andrew's response less than a second later.
Nodding, Harry glanced at Lucius's hand uncertainly once more before reaching out and shaking it. He was about to let go when he suddenly felt himself being pulled forward and his hand being examined. A finger then softly ran over the infamous one half of the scar he was known for. He heard startled gasps from the Weasley family who all looked on in shock.
"Ah, yes, to think, one as young as yourself would have defeated a force such as the Dark Lord. You seem to have impeccable luck, Mr Potter." Lucius stated softly but Harry didn't miss the obvious tone, it sounded very much like contempt.
"Oh don't you worry, Lucy. He wasn't alone when the Dark Loser fell." came a voice from behind Lucius, before the elder man could react he felt the hot sensation of a wand tip pressed against the back of his ear.
"A simple disarming spell at this distance, in this position would not kill you, but if you try anything right now, trust me, when you wake up, you'll feel as though three million Cerberus pups had a violent game of tug o' war with your brain." Andrew said, his voice sounded devoid of all emotions.
Harry turned and saw his brother standing there and felt a pang of fear before pushing it aside. He turned back to Mr Malfoy and spoke.
"Well this has been fun but I do believe we should be leaving Mr Malfoy." Harry said as he pulled his arm away. He then motioned towards Andrew and the dark skinned teen nodded, pocketed his wand and made his move to walk away before:
"Ah, Raymond's boy, huh? I believe this has just become even more... interesting." Lucius said in an ominous tone.
Andrew spun around and looked at Lucious suspiciously, "How the hell do you know my dad?!" he asked angrily.
Lucious simply smirked, before he turned and popped away from them.
"What the hell, first Hermione's dad, now Draco's? Just what are we missing?!" Harry muttered angrily as he watched Andrew string together a few curses that made some members of the Weasley family blush. Oh yeah, they had been so quiet Harry had forgotten that they were still there.
"Young man, you will watch your language!" Molly said in a scolding manner.
Andrew ignored her and continued wringing his hands tightly. "This is bullshit, we have to do something about this." he said turning to Harry.
Harry didn't say anything, he simply nodded and turned back to the Weasley's insisting that they move on and get out of the Alley as soon as possible. After a quick agreement, everyone went back to their business and finished shopping for their supplies.
The group had arrived back to the Burrow later in the afternoon and after a delicious meal from Mrs Weasley, the two Potters went into their room to find Hedwig sitting on the window sill carrying an unopened letter. Walking over Harry untied the letter and gave his owl a loving rub which she reveled in.
'Wotcher Harry.
How's your last day of summer going? I tried sending letters during the hols but you didn't get back to me. I just assumed you were extremely busy having fun. How's Andrew? Have he and Ron murdered each other yet?
Well, my summer's been pretty tame to be honest. You guys gave me too much excitement last year! Haven't done much other than go flying a few times, well I did go to a few raves. The Weird Sisters were playing in London! I couldn't miss that! Well, I hope you enjoy the rest of the day and hopefully I'll see you and Andrew on the train tomorrow? If not, I'll see you during the term! Miss you guys!
Your Pal,
Tonks'
Harry turned to Andrew and told him that Tonks would be expecting them on the train tomorrow. His brother nodded and turned back to what he was doing. When Harry prompted, Andrew told him that he was just writing a quick note to Hermione; asking about her father's health and how she and her mother were holding out.
Harry nodded and collapsed on his allocated bed. Today had too many questions raised and not enough answered any! While Harry could see how Lucius might of Andrew's dad, but Hermione's? He was muggle, how could he possibly have any connection to them? Things were starting to get complicated and if there was one thing Harry hated it was the unknown.

The Weasley family were up early and things were... intense. People running around getting their books, cauldrons, school robes, quills etc and packing them into their trunks so that they could leave before the Hogwarts express could left them behind.
Andrew was quite impressed to be honest. They had gotten to Kings Cross with 5 minutes to spare. After a hasty "Hurry now" to their children the Weasley family rushed through the barrier. Three boys now remained behind the stone wall; the third to last one being Andrew who ran towards the barrier at full speed... He passed through and made his way towards the train as quickly as he could. Only a minute remained. Loading on his luggage he turned to tell his brother and Ron to hurry up when he noticed... they weren't there!
'Harry! Quit playing around, the trains about to leave!' he thought furiously.
'Andy, I can't get in! Ron and I are stuck on the other side of the wall!' Harry responded.
'What the hell do you mean you're stuck behind the wall?!'
'It's as I've said, we can't get through!' Harry responded heatedly.
"Oi, you! We're leaving now! Get on board!" the conductor yelled at Andrew over the loud yelling of students, parents and the Express blowing out a whistle of steam.
"Alright, alright! I'm getting on!" he yelled back. Andrew climbed the steps of the Ruby Steam Engine and sighed.
'Harry, the train's just left the station! There's no way you're getting on now. Okay, wait for Mr and Mrs Weasley then go to their house, when we get to school I'll let Dumbledore know what's happened and where you are. Just, don't do anything stupid please!' Andrew said tiredly.
'Oh, err... well about that...'
'No... Harry, I just said...'
'I know, but to be fair we had already started doing this before you told me the plan...'
'Doing what exactly, Harry?'
'Remember how we came here in the Weasley's car?'
Andrew frowned before slapping his forehead.
"God dammit Harry, for shit's sake!" Andrew stated out loud.
"Language Potter, have some self restraint." a voice said in a scolding manner.
As he turned to tell whoever it was to go eat a certain body part he froze.
"Su?"
"Yes, it's me. And when did we get comfortable enough to use first names?" The Japanese girl* asked with a frown.
Andrew didn't respond instead opting to continue staring at her. Something was different, but for the life of him...
"Did you change something about... you?" he asked bluntly while still frowning in concentration.
"Wh-What are you talking about?" the girl asked surprised at the sudden question.
"You seem different, yet the same. Like, hold on..." Andrew stepped closer to the small Ravenclaw and raised his hand towards her face, either not noticing her rapidly growing blush or choosing to ignore it. He then stepped back and grinned slightly.
"That's it! New glasses! God, it's been bothering me!" he said pointing at her slimmer spectacles.
"W-What, oh, ye-yes... Ahem! I got them this past summer." she informed him in a composed manner, though her face was still burning brightly.
"They suit you, they really bring out your eyes." Andrew responded innocently, before turning and a once more incoherent Su standing in the isle of the train alone.
As Andrew passed a window, he would swear on the unholy soul of Barney the Dinosaur he saw a blue Ford Anglia sore passed the train in his peripheral vision. Sighing and muttering more curses he walking into a compartment where he ran into Tonks, and had the unfortunate responsibility of informing her of what had happened during the summer hols and why he and his brother couldn't respond to her letters.
"A house-elf, huh? Weird little blighters, those elves. More than happy to work, insulted if you ever want to do something around the house yourself. Plus their eyes give me the creeps." the now purple haired girl said with a small shiver.
Andrew nodded his head in agreement when he saw the pudgy face of Neville Longbottom pop in.
"Hey guys." he greeted with a small smile.
"Wotcher." Tonks said happily.
"Alright there, Nev?" Andrew asked with a small smile. "Lose Trevor again?"
"Hmm? No, not this time. I'm just looking for Dean, he lent my Herbology book during the summer and hasn't returned it yet."
"Ah, well, just get it from him in the common room." Andrew suggested with a shrug.
"True, I just hope he hasn't forgotten it."
"Oh speaking of books, wheres Hermione?" Tonks with a small frown.
Andrew sighed again... he felt like he had been doing that way too many times lately. He turned back to Tonks and noticed Neville also looking curious. So with a small shrug he recounted what had happened in the Alley the day before all the while leaving out the connection Mr Granger had to Harry and his father.

Once the group had arrived at the Hogsmead station they had boarded the horseless carriages and made their way towards the magnificent castle in the distance. With a large breath Andrew couldn't stop the smile that spread on his face. It felt magnificent being back.
The students entered the hall and made their way into the Great Hall so that they could wait for the first years. After giving Tonks a quick "See ya." Andrew headed towards the Gryffindor table and found himself between Neville and Percy while Lavender and Pavarti occupied the seats in front of him. As the teachers allowed chatting to commence while they waited for the newbies to arrive Andrew instantly wanted to ram the fork through his eye before shoving the knifes into his ears.
Good God, annoyance sounded way too controlled for the sheer negative energy Andrew felt rushing through him. The two girls would not shut up about make-up, gossip mags and boys, Andrew felt extremely confused, sure he knew what attraction was and that usually a boy and a girl were attracted to one another but simultaneously he knew that they were only 12! Sure some girls were cute but ask him to kiss them or hold their hands... he shivered violently, not on that persons life!
Percy was just... Percy. He kept shooting glances towards the Ravenclaw table, probably at Penelope or Penny as she demanded he call her... Andrew chanced a look and as luck would have it, they made eye contact. Penny of course never shying away from emotions gave Andrew a blindingly bright smile before waving her arm at him happily.
"Absolutely no restraint." Andrew thought with a shake of his head, he gave a small wave back and turned away from her. Then he realized something. He had only spoken to the girl once, was she being so friendly with him? Not to sound paranoid, but you aren't usually that happy when you see someone you aren't to common with. Well, whatever, that just meant he had someone intelligent to speak to for a few days before Hermione came back. Speaking of, Andrew turned to the head table to look for Dumbledore. He didn't spot him, but figured he had to come in eventually when the sorting started.
Looking to his left; Percy's side, he found the stuck up prat glaring at him out of the corner of his eye... Moving on. Looking once more around the Hall he spotted Su Li sitting near the end of the table, not many people around her. Instantly he was reminded of when he had first seen her in Transfiguration the previous year. Before he could expand on that thought the Great Hall doors swung open and in came Professor McGonagall with the first years, Andrew caught a glimpse of red hair futter in the crowd and suspected that it was Ginny.
Once the sorting hat was pulled out and the song had been sung. McGonagall began reading the names of the Andrew heard something.
"We're gonna die, we're gonna die!"
"... Harry? What the hell is going on?!"
There was silence for a moment before Harry responded.
"We made it to Hogwarts, but we're stuck in a tree..."
"What do you mean, you're stuck in a tree?"
Harry then went on to explain what had been happening all the while taking the occasional break to respond to Ron. In a ten minute span, he told his brother about the tree, the fact that the tree tried killing them, then how the car had effectively thrown them out and driven away, and finally how they had run into Snape at the front door, and how they were now being taken away, probably to be expelled.
"How the hell... You know what?! Nope, I'm only going to come help once I've eaten. All this stress has given me an appetite." Andrew then cut off his connection and turned back to the front, and seeing that Ginny was the last one being sorted before the food would arrive.
Obviously the female Weasley made it to Gryffindor, which was no surprise, except to her brothers perhaps as they all started cheering extra loudly.
Once the young red-head had gotten a seat Dumbledore said a few words, once again reminding the students about the Forbidden Forest and introducing everyone to the Peacock; most of the girls in the hall sighed intently as the man flashed a (what he thought to be) a dashing smile. Then he proceeded to his random words then the food appeared! Andrew was about to dig into until Harry popped into his mind... He shook his head to clear his thoughts, but to no avail. He groaned before forcing himself up and walking towards the staff table.
There were murmurs as he passed but Andrew simply ignored them and headed directly for Dumbledore.
"Mister Potter, I trust you had productive summer." Dumbledore said with his usual twinkle eyed optimism.
Sighing Andrew decided to get straight to the point.
"Sir, Harry and Ron did a stupid thing and now Snape-" "Professor Snape, Mister Potter." "Yeah, yeah, him. Well, now he has Mop Top and Carrot Top locked in his office, probably threatening to feed them to wolves or something." Andrew finished, barely acknowledging the interruption by Dumbledore.
"Hmm, and what makes you so certain that Professor Snape?" Dumbledore asked with a small frown.
Thinking quickly Andrew responded. "His the only one not here, and I heard the car Ron and Harry arrived in."
"Car?" McGonagall asked highly confused.
"Long, long story, they'll explain. Now if you don't mind, I can hear the roast beef beckoning me over."
"Unfortunately Andrew, we will need you to accompany me. I do believe, that you should be the first student your brother sees after being in Severus' presence for this long." Dumbledore said, his bloody twinkle back in full force.
"But... I was going to... Why should I have to...? Oh for God's sake! Fine!" Andrew said heatedly. He spun around and noticed a majority of the students watching him, he felt his irritation rise once again. "The hell you all looking at?!" He said loudly.
"Mister Potter, Language! 5 Points from Gryffindor." McGonagall said in a scolding tone.
"It's just not my bloody night."
"Potter!"
"Sorry Professor."

On their way to the Potions office, Dumbledore and Andrew were in a comfortable silence, each in their own little world...
"So Andrew, would you mind telling me, why it is that you and your brother have chosen to pursue Occlumency?"
'Of course it wouldn't last.' Andrew thought sadly.
"Oh you know, Evil Guys have this pesky thing where they need to know information and so they'll do anything to get it. So instead of making it easy, we wanted to give them a bit of a fight." Andrew replied, a tad more sarcastically than he intended.
Apparently Dumbledore didn't notice.
"Ah yes, that would be an acceptable response."
Andrew blinked and waited. 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds.
"Really? That's it?" Andrew asked slightly confused.
"Of course, unless you wish for me to pry more." The Headmaster said with a small grin.
"I mean... I don't want you to, but I thought for sure..." Andrew's mutterings fell away as they approached the door.
"Five muggles! Five muggles saw you two in that... that... monstrosity! If it were up to me, I'd have the two of you expelled and sent of to Azkaban in the next ten minutes!" Snape's voice seemed to both be headed and cold.
"We're sorry sir but the passage was blocked off, it wasn't our fault." Ron said trying to get his point across.
"Really? Potter had his owl, why didn't you send her here with a note explaining your situation? Or perhaps wait for your parents to go back through the barrier?! No, you chose this course of action and now you shall punished!" Snape yelled angrily.
Dumbledore chose that exact moment to enter the classroom.
"Good Evening Professor Snape; the situation has just been brought to my attention."
"Good Evening Headmaster, yes, well, I believe these two morons should receive a months detention and 70 points deducted." Snape said finally.
"Hmm..." Dumbledore contemplated the punishment until Andrew stepped in.
"No deal." he said.
Snape looked at the dark skinned child in front of him and blinked. Then he blinked two more times until he felt his anger boil again.
"What?!"
"All I'm saying is, that the punishment isn't really fair. See, when you take 70 points away, you aren't punishing them, you're punishing all of Gryffindor." Harry and Ron looked to Andrew and both gave him a thankful look, until...
"So here's what I propose; 15 points from each of them, a weeks detention with either Snape or Filch and Harry gets banned from Quidditch for a match." Andrew said shoving his hands into his pockets.
The Potions Professor stared at Andrew in disbelief. "You dare believe that you can bargain... with me?!" he said angrily.
"Hmm? Oh no, I was talking to your boss." Andrew said looking over at Dumbledore.
"Hmm, interesting. Yes, they would be effectively punished and they would also receive the animosity from Gryffindor for a little while until they make up for their blunder. Yes, I agree with Andrew's punishment." The silver haired man said with a nod.
"But, Headmaster..."
"Come now boys, the feast is nearly finished, I do believe none of you have eaten."
Not needing to be told twice the three boys left the office and made their way towards the Great Hall. Andrew could feel their glares. It was only a matter of time...
"What the bloody hell was that, back there?!" Ron asked angrily.
"Yeah Andrew! I thought you were helping us out!" Harry added, his own anger evident in his tone.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't allow them to let you both off for nearly killing yourselves and almost being discovered." Andrew said sarcastically.
Ron's glare intensified while Harry's rapid breathing didn't waver. Not having any of it; Andrew turned to face the two of them.
"Is that what you really wanted?! For me to make them let you off with no punishments?!" He asked cooly.
Ron and Hary didn't even respond. Choosing to give Andrew a look as if to ask if he were stupid.
"Okay, let's say I do that then and you're both off the hook, how do you think that'll look everyone else?" He then started doing imitations of other students. "Oh I heard that Potter didn't get punished for that stunt he pulled. Must be nice to be famous, hey Potter?!"
"Stop whining and get your heads out of your arses. Harry, you keep saying how much you hate this fame that came with the death of our parents! Well then don't expect it to work in your favor and hate it every other time! Besides how do you think the others will take the news that you don't get in trouble? With a smile and a pat on the back? 'Oh well done there, ol' chap, got one over that dreaded bat did you?' Do you really think they'll appreciate you not getting anything while they always get shit from someone?!" he asked poking Harry in the chest. Then he turned to Ron.
"And you! Where the hell do you get off being angry when you know that waiting would have been the smarter move?! You aren't an idiot Ron, no matter how much you act like one. I'm absolutely sick and tired of you two using me and Hermione as your personal spell checkers as well as your homework mules when you've been too lazy to finish your own! I'm done, and when Hermione comes back I'm going to convince her to do the same. From now on, you will both start using your brains, cause the access to mine and Hermione's are closed. And I hope your punishments will help you two realize that I can't always be there to bail you out, and that you're going to have to do that yourself sometimes!"
Andrew didn't even wait for their response as he turned and marched his way down the hall to the the Great Hall.
"Jeez, what's his problem?" Ron asked thoroughly shocked at what had just happened.
Harry was silent for a moment before he groaned and rubbed his face. "He's right." Ron turned to the raven-haired boy with a confused face.
"I'm always expecting Andrew to be there to help me out when I need him, it didn't matter with what; cooking, fights, homework. He's always been there helping me out, but I could never really pay him back. Even now, he helped us out. Snape was about to take at least 70 points and give us at least a months detention. Andrew cut that to 30 points and a weeks worth of detentions."
"Yeah but he also got you benched from your first game!" Ron said sounding shocked at Harry's 180.
"Yeah, but he'll be playing, and we both the team at the same time, we're as good as each other. Which means that games in the bag either way." Harry said, looking at Ron waiting for the news to sink in.
"So then we got a very basic amount of punishment..."
"For doing something outrageous... yeah! But, I don't think we should get too happily. Andrew's extremely stubborn and proud. He told us that he's done being used. So... I think it's time we take our studies seriously, Ron." Harry said turning to Ron.
Ron nodded then rubbed his stomach. "Can we go get food now?" the red head asked with a small moan.
"Yeah, we'd better hurry, the feast is probably almost done."
The two boys then took off running towards the hall for the first meal of the year in Hogwarts.
Okay, so yeah, this wasn't great.
I wasn't sure where my mind went. I think I tried including too many elements at once and the flow just sort of fell flat. I promise it will get better I promise!
No Omake this time! Sorry! I know! But I didn't know what to do an Omake about!
Give us some suggestions in the reviews please. My silly ideas are kinda dry right now. Again sorry!
Welp! Thank you so much for reading this chapter!
Peace, Love, Respect
Zak.
