Chapter 35: Break in's and Nargles.
After the prank war was officially announced once more, the air around Hogwarts buzzed in excitement, no longer were students worried about the dreaded Sirius Black, but they were now more focused on getting their rival houses with an elaborate prank.
Though the third years and above were at a slight disadvantage as they had their first Hogsmeade weekend approaching. Meaning the younger years had the castle to themselves for the day and could set up all the pranks they wanted.
Harry and Andrew vowed to only prank when pranked upon and as such didn't really participate in the fun, rather choosing to watch the school dissolve into madness.
When the end of the week rolled around and the teachers announced the visit to the Wizarding village Ron, Hermione, Harry and Andrew were all sat in the Gryffindor common room discussing which stores they're most excited to visit. Ron mentioned many viable locations, Honeydukes for their candy, Zonko's for their joke shop, The Three Broomsticks, known for their delicious food and fantastic butter beer.
"Butter beer?" Andrew asked his faced screwed into a look of disgust.
"Oh yeah, it's brilliant!" Ron said with a bright smile on his face.
"Well, it doesn't have the best sounding name out there, but I'll take your word for it." the dark skinned boy said still with a look of slight disgust.
As Ron finished Fred and George slid in next to the group of friends.
"Oh, Ronny, you're forgetting one of the best things about Hogsmeade..."
"The Shrieking Shack."
"The what?" Hermione asked with a confused look.
"The Shrieking Shack." George said again. "It's said to be one of the most haunted places in all of Britain."
"They say you can still hear the howls of the man who mad from the building." Fred finished.
There was a beat of silence before the twins smiled and walked away chuckling slightly.
"That can't be true... can it?" Ron asked with a slightly worried expression.
"Well, these are the same two boys who told you that the sorting ceremony consisted of fighting a fully grown mountain troll so..." Andrew replied with a raised brow.
"... True."

The group made their way on to the front doors of the Great Hall where they saw the ever strict Professor McGonagall checking everyone's permission slips.
"Ah, Misters Potter, Weasley and Miss Granger, are you all ready for Hogsmeade?"
"Morning to you too, professor." Andrew said in a mockingly reprimanding tone. "And yes, I do believe we are."
Hermione looked scandalized at Andrew for being so disrespectful towards a teacher while Harry rolled his eyes and Ron simply chuckled.
"Mmhmm, I'll take your excitement as an excuse for your outburst." Andrew simply swallowed thinking his mouth was very soon going to get him into trouble. "Slips please?"
Ron and Hermione handed her their slips and waited patiently as she looked them over before handing them back to the two teens. "All seems in order, have fun today."
The two smiled happily in return before stepping away and waiting patiently for Andrew and Harry to get cleared.
"Hmm." the Transfiguration teacher said with a slight frown.
"Err, something wrong professor?" Andrew asked his heartbeat rising.
"Yes, it would appear as though these slips have been forged." McGonagall said with a stern look at the two boys.
Harry and Andrew shared a look before Andrew spoke again. "Oh my... what?! Who could've-"
"Save it mister Potter, I've graded enough of your parchments to recognize your flourish anywhere." she said without any hint of humor.
"Ah, dammit!"
"Language!" Hermione gasped out, shooting a nervous glance at McGonagall.
"Unfortunately I cannot allow you to go without permission."
"Professor, please." Harry said speaking for the first time.
"I can't do anything to help you. I'm sorry, truly I am, but without your permission slip I cannot permit you to go."
There was a moment of awkward glances before the two boys turned to Ron and Hermione.
"It's fine." Harry said with a shrug.
"Yeah, we'll wait for you guys to get back." Andrew added with a small smile.
"We'll bring you back something." Hermione said with a sad smile while Ron nodded in agreement.

"Very good, boys. Now I want you to focus on the amount of magic you're channeling through your wand." Flitwick said with a happy squeak as Andrew and Harry finally managed to cast silently.
As they weren't permitted to head off to the magical village the two boys came to a simultaneous decision to get more training from Flitwick. After two and a half hours of constantly casting the boys finally produced a relatively weak silent charm, much to the delight of their Charms Professor.
"How do we do that?" asked a very winded Harry.
"Concentrate on your intent and will the magic out at a larger amount."
This went on for a few more hours before Flitwick watched proudly as the two boys were able to completely extinguish the flaming battle dolls on the other side of the room. As the two boys relaxed with some cookies and milk Flitwick had happily provided them with said Professor brought up a topic that shocked the two boys.
"So Harry, I've heard from Professor Lupin that you have a fear of Dementors."
"Oh err, yes sir." Harry confirmed.
"Disgusting creatures those Dementors. I still can't believe the Ministry believing that having them Guard Hogwarts was a good idea. Barmy the lot of them." he said with a small shake of his head.
"Those with power tend to be." Andrew said as he happily munched on another cookie.
"Too true Andrew. Well, I have a proposition for the two of you." he smiled when the two boys looked at him in interest. "I know of a spell, that can repel that can repel a Dementor."
Harry and Andrew shared a look of surprise between themselves. "We're listening." they said simultaneously causing the small man to chuckle.
"It's called the Patronus Charm and the incantation is; Expecto Patronum."
The hours went on and the two boys were unsuccessful with their spell unable to even produce a mist. After a while the students started returning from the Hogsmeade trip. Andrew and Harry bid a farewell to their teacher and went off to find their friends.
They found Ron and Hermione waiting for them by the doors leading outside and greeted the two of them happily despite the agonizing exhaustion they were currently feeling. Hermione and Ron each gave the boys something from the village; Harry got a broom cleaning kit and a box of sweets from the two friends while Andrew got a book about the history of the village and box of Bertie Botts. The two Potters happily accepted the gifts and thanked the two.
"Well, we should go get ready for supper." Andrew said to Harry.
"Oh, yeah true."
"I wasn't going to say anything, but the two of you smell..." Hermione said with a small grimace.
"Yeah, like horrendously." Ron added.
"Okay, your input was neither needed nor appreciated." Harry replied while Andrew simply shot the two a dirty look.
"Why do you smell so bad anyway?" Hermione asked as the group headed to the common room for a quick wash.
Andrew shot Harry a look and the raven haired boy responded with a lost expression.
"We were... helping Hagrid clean out BuckBeak's pen." Andrew responded with a small shrug.
Ron had a look of disgust on his face while Hermione regarded the two boys with a look of suspicion.
"Really?" she asked them with a frown.
"Yes, really. Why? Do you not believe us?" Andrew asked turning to face her.
"Well honestly, no I don't." she responded a brow raised slightly.
Andrew smirked at her response. "Well, unlike you, we have proof of our exploits." he said as he motioned to his under-arms. "What about you, Mio? Do you have those notes for Runes I took for you?" he asked emphasizing the last question.
Hermione's face burned pink for a bit before she stopped and took a step closer to Andrew.
"Well, since your handwriting is so horrendous I had to turn to Su who was more than happy to help me catch up, and you know she told me quite a few interesting things."
Andrew's eyes widened for a split second and Hermione smirked in response.
"Oi, could we please get a move on already?!" Ron asked impatiently.
The two friends were suddenly very aware of their surroundings as well as the fact that they had somehow gotten closer to one another during their battle of wills. Clearing their throats the two turned and headed towards the common room in silence.
"What do you suppose that was about?" Ron asked Harry, while watching the two of them.
"I honestly couldn't tell you." Harry responded with a shrug of his shoulders.
The four friends eventually arrived to the moving staircase only to see a massive line of people murmuring to one another. Sharing a look the four Gryffindor's started pushing through to the front of the line, determined to see what the issue was. After a vigorous trek they finally saw what the problem was.
"What?" Hermione asked in pure shock.
The entrance portrait to the Gryffindor common room was completely shredded and the Fat Lady was missing.
"Out of the way please, head boy coming through!"
Andrew immediately sighed tiredly when he heard Percy being his usual pricky self.
"Move! I'm head boy!" he yelled at some pure unknowing second year.
"Percy, shut up! It's not like you'd be able to do anything anyway!" Andrew yelled at the annoying ponce.
"Hear, hear!" Fred and George cheered.
"Watch yourself Potter, or you'll end up-"
"Out of the way please, quickly now." said a more commanding voice.
Instantly Dumbledore was on the scene and the students parted like the red sea at the man's polite demand, causing Andrew to smirk at Percy before turning away.
The aged wizard examined the painting for a minute before turning and looking around at the other paintings before he stopped and suddenly moved much faster than most of the students were sure he was able to.
The rest of the students suddenly moved and followed the man. Except for Andrew who was grabbed by Percy.
"This isn't over."
"Blow it up your arse, Pompom."
Ripping his arm out of Percy's grasp he followed the rest of the students to where the Headmaster had found The Fat Lady... maybe they should ask for her name.
"Oh dear Lady, who did this?" Dumbledore asked softly.
Said Lady was being comforted by a group of dainty woman with long, beautifully coloured dresses.
"Oh Headmaster, terrifying it was. I saw eyes as black as the name itself. He demanded entrance into the tower, but when I refused, he went into a rage and he- he..." she couldn't finish her statement as she once again broke into loud wails and hid her face into the shoulder of one of the outrageously beautifully dressed women.
Dumbledore sighed and nodded his head in understanding. "Mr Weasley, kindly lead the students to the Great Hall."
Percy beamed at Dumbledore's instruction and nodded in determination.
The Headmaster then turned to another painting. "Grougher, please go to the teachers and request that they meet me in my office immediately."
"Aye 'Eadmasta." said a rough pirate looking painting before walking away briskly.

After supper it was announced that the school would be sleeping in the Great Hall, to the dismay of many of the students. That is until the reason was given.
"It would seem as though Sirius Black has managed to breach the school."
That sentence silenced and scared many of the kids in the hall. Suddenly many of the students weren't against sleeping in the hall anymore. The tables were moved by the house elves and soon the ground was covered in sleeping bags.
As the students moved to a sleeping bag, the teachers left the hall to search for Black.
Ron and Hermione moved to a section of the hall to find place to sleep while Andrew and Harry separated from the group.
"Hey, where are you going?" Ron asked the brothers.
Andrew seemed to think for a moment he looked up and made eye contact with Hermione for a bit before quickly looking away and frowned for a split second then turned to Harry with narrowed eyes.
"I'm going to look for Tonks. I just- I want to make sure she's alright, you know after everything that's happened." he answered looking back to Ron.
"And I'm gonna do the same. We'll meet you guys when we're done." Harry said with a nod.
Ron accepted the answer and turned to leave while Hermione looked at the two boys, and sighed when Andrew wouldn't make eye contact with her before turning to leave.
"What the hell was that? Your emotions spiked like crazy there. Why did you lie to them?" Harry thought to his brother.
"I don't know, but now isn't really a time to be thinking about it. Black can enter the castle, which means he can get us anytime." Andrew responded.
"What's the plan?"
"I don't know."
"Well, that isn't too reassuring." Harry said out loud.
"Yeah, imagine being me right now." Andrew said distractedly while looking around the Hall.
"Oh, there's Tonks. You coming?"
"Later." Andrew said moving to another section of the hall making Harry sigh when he saw where he was headed.
"Good luck."
Andrew paused for a second before shutting their connection and continuing. Harry blinked at the lost connection before shaking his head again and walking over to Tonks and her group of friends.
"Hey Tonks." he greeted.
"Harry!" she said happily while standing and hugging the boy closely. "How are you?" she asked.
"I'm okay, I just came over to see how you were doing?"
"Aww..."
Harry stopped and looked, he had forgotten about Tonks' friends. "Evening, ladies." he greeted with a slight nod of his head.
"Oh my God, Tonksie, he is adorable. I can't believe you've been hiding him from us!" a very pretty brunette said with excitement in her eyes.
"Meg..."
"No, no no no no. You should've introduced us long ago!" Jennifer joined sliding closer to the boy, making his face turn red.
"Oh he's even cuter when he's blushing!" Meg stated with a small squeal making Harry duck his head in embarrassment.
"I'm so sorry about this." Tonks said to Harry with a small smile, making Harry feel better.
"It's fine. I mean I can't help it I'm so adorable." Harry said with a small cheeky smile.
"I want him." Jennifer said after a pause.
"Jennifer!" Tonks squealed in surprise.
"What? He's too cute!"
"He's thirteen!"
"Consider it training." Jennifer said in a low voice.
"Oh my God."
"What do you say, Harry?" she asked leaning closer to him, instantly making his cheeky behaviour disappear.
"I mean... I, well..."
Meg started giggling which set Jennifer off. "Jen, that was mean!"
"I'm sorry Harry. Do you forgive me?" Jennifer asked batting her eyelashes at the boy.
"Okay, you're done." Tonks said silencing the two girls who rolled around and broke into silent laughter.
"Sorry about them. They're too childish for their own good. Honestly you two, we're in seventh year!" Tonks said with a small shake of her head before continuing. "But never mind about me, what about you? Black got into the castle. Does that make you nervous at all?"
"I mean a bit but, he didn't get us and Andy's probably got a few ideas in that mind of his."
"I'm coming with you." Tonks said determinedly.
"Tonks..."
"No, your first year I stayed behind to help Hermione and you ended up in the Hospital Wing, last year I went off by myself and ended up getting Su and myself petrified then I hear Andrew telling me he was going to kill the thing that did it and a few days later I wake up and the two of you are in the Hospital Wing again except this time they're significantly worse and then the beginning of this year; not only the dementor attack on the train but Andrew gets attacked by a Hippogriff and now Black? No I'm coming with you this time."
Harry paused and blinked. He then nodded. "Alright, I'll make sure to keep you in the loop this year." he said seriously. "Well, I'd better get going. I'd actually like some sleep tonight."
"Okay well goodnight." Tonks said with a smile before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
With a slight blush and a smile Harry stood to leave and waved at Jennifer and Meg before turning and leaving.

"Good luck." Andrew paused for a moment when he heard his brother's voice in his mind. Frowning he closed the connection and continued on his way.
"Okay, I'm just going to say hi, that's all." he muttered to himself as he approached his target.
"Oh, Andrew. Good evening."
"Su, hey. I just came over to see you. I mean- to see if you were okay." he corrected quickly.
"I'm doing okay. Just a bit frightened." she answered with a smile.
"That makes sense." he replied with a small smile of his own.
"Oh sorry, please." Su motioned to sleeping bag for Andrew to sit.
As Andrew sat down he saw a bundle of pale blonde and suddenly a girl sat beside Su with an oddly vacant yet extremely critical look in her sky blue eyes.
"Oh, uhm, Hi." Andrew greeted surprised.
"Oh Andrew, this is my friend Luna, Luna Lovegood. Luna this is Andrew Potter." Su introduced.
"Oh I know. It's nice to finally meet you, Drew." Luna replied dreamily.
Andrew paused for a second his brain recalling something from the past.
"It's you! You were by the treeline when we were at the Weasley's throwing those garden gnomes." Andrew said pointing an accusatory finger at the girl.
"Oh yes, that was me, I was surprised when yours didn't go very far. You're a lot weaker than I thought you were." Luna said easily.
"No, hold on! I had that game locked, you distracted me!" Andrew said defending himself.
"Luna, I thought you didn't know Andrew?" Su asked with a frown.
"Oh no I don't. I just happened to be on my nature walk when I saw them at the Weasley's throwing those poor Gnomes." Luna replied easily.
"Nature walk?"
"Oh yes, I live a little a ways from the Weasley's and usually walk through the forest by our house in the nude."
Andrew felt his brain freeze.
"Luna!" Su gasped scandalized. "That isn't very sanitary."
"Oh but it's needed to find the Nargle hive, they love the feel of human skin when they first hatch, you know." the tiny blonde replied as if it were the most common thing in the world. "Perhaps you'd like to join me? Maybe one human isn't enough." she asked Su.
"Absolutely not!" Su responded with a huff.
"Oh okay, maybe Drew would like to accompany me next time?" she asked turning to Andrew, whose brain was still calculating what the girl had just revealed earlier.
"He will do no such thing!"
"I mean... I wouldn't be against the idea..." the dark skinned boy saw Su's dark look and immediately backtracked. "Is what I would say if I were some sort of... pervert. Which you know, I'm not! By the way what are Nar-" he didn't get to finish as Su shook her head telling him not to ask.
"Oh pooh, well maybe a nature a walk in our clothes could also work." Luna suggested with an unhappy pout.
"Yes, that seems like the smarter option." Su agreed.
"I mean, technically underwear count as clothes." Andrew muttered his mind forgetting where he was.
Luna jumped on Andrew's train of thought energetically.
"Ohh yes that could work! I haven't grown enough to require a brassiere yet, although Su has and her breasts are quite spectacular to look at."
Unlike before, Andrew's mind traveled faster than light as his brain tried to place an image to the statement. Su's face burned a very bright red as she struggled to find the right words for her shock.
"Luna!"
"You seem upset?" Luna said with a tilt of her head.
"Of course I'm upset!" Su said as she remembered her friends antics. "You can't just go around telling people... that! About my..."
"Succulent breasts?"
"Succulent?" Andrew squeaked.
"And you. Stop imagining!" Su said smacking the boy across the head. "Stop it! Luna, please stop. Please." the tiny Asian pleaded.
"Alright if it makes you uncomfortable I'll stop." Luna said with an understanding nod.
"Thank you." Su sighed.
Andrew watched the two closely and was happy to see that Luna; with all her eccentrics managed to bring Su out of her shell more and more.
"So I heard Chang mention something about a match tomorrow. Are you excited?" Su asked the boy.
"Oh, yeah. I guess? The weather's been something horrible lately so it'll definitely make things harder." Andrew said with a sigh.
"Well, I'm going to be cheering for you." Luna said with a sweet smile which Andrew returned.
"Thank you Luna and you?" he asked turning to Su.
"I already told you. I'm not a fan of the sport." she responded all the while not making eye contact.
Luna seemed confused by something. "Wait but you showed me that you had bought..." Su soon covered the blonde's mouth.
"Nothing! I bought nothing!" Su said quickly.
Andrew looked confused for a bit before he let out a small yawn and looked around to see most people had already started settling down for the night.
"Alright, well I don't know what that was about, but I think it's time we get to bed." he said as he let out a stretch.
"If you'd like we could share a bag. Mine seems to be big enough to fit two." Luna said innocently while Su once again looked very shocked at her friend.
Andrew blinked, but fought the temptation to explore that image. "Not tonight. Maybe some other time." she responded with a smile before standing and saying his goodnights to the girls.
As he walked away he was joined by his brother.
"Hey, how'd it go?" he asked Harry.
"Good, Tonks wants in with whatever happens with Black." Harry said cutting to the chase.
"And you didn't stop her?"
"She was adamant, one way or another she's going to be a part of this, I thought the best place for her to be while all this goes down is by us." Harry said not in the mood to argue with his brother.
"Okay fine, when I think of something, I'll let you know." Andrew said with a shrug.
When the two of them arrived by Ron and Hermione they found that the latter had already settled in for the night and Ron was just about to do the same.
"Everything go well?" the red head asked tiredly.
"Yeah. We should probably get some rest." Harry suggested and the two other boys agreed as they settled in for the night.

A couple of hours went by and majority of the students were peacefully resting in the Great Hall. Dumbledore monitored the students with a dimly lit Lumos spell, he might be lenient but he was not about to be known as the Headmaster who allowed the next Generation of magicals to be conceived in his Great Hall.
"Headmaster."
Turning the aged wizard saw Severus Snape approaching him from the doors.
"Severus, anything?"
"No, I checked the dungeons as well as the entire first floor with the help of the paintings."
Dumbledore hummed his response as he turned to continue his patrol.
"You know sir, it would be quite impossible for Black to access the castle on his own."
"What are you suggesting Severus? That he had help?"
"Perhaps an old friend... I warned you against-"
"I very much doubt that they have been in communication." Dumbledore said shutting the topic down.
"Should we alert the Potter boys?"
"Soon but for now let them rest, as I understand it, Fillius has been rather harsh with their training. He seems rather excited to duel the boys when he deems them ready."
Severus sighed and nodded his head before turning to leave the hall.
"I feel as though all I do is apologize to you Harry and Andrew, but I promise, soon you will be given the answers to all the questions you have." Dumbledore said sadly moving on.
Harry's eyes were wide as he lay in his sleeping bag, his mind whirling at what he had just heard.
Hey everyone.
So there we go! At last Sirius has broken into the school and the boys have started their Patronus training!
I NEED YOUR HELP!
So I have the rest of the story planned out but I need to know who should go back with the time turner?
Harry/Hermione
Hermione/Tonks
Harry/Tonks
Hermione/Andrew
Andrew/Su
Harry/Su
Su/Tonks
Ron will follow cannon and have his leg be damaged so that's why he isn't an option.
Please let me know who you'd rather have go back and I can work it into the story. Some of these might not make sense but all of them are basically Plot related, so any of these work with how the story will progress forward. Thank you!
Peace, Love and Respect
Zak!
