Hello People, I think I prefer typing out two chapters and posting them in bulk rather than trying to stick to a schedule. I hope you enjoy them as well- so here we are!
I hope you enjoy it!
Last time on Black and White Book 3
Harry turned and immediately went after him. He could feel the rain around him turn to sleet as the Dementors continued to chase after him, more than a few times did he feel his face get cut from these icicles but that didn't matter. He was so close to him, he reached out an arm but suddenly felt a jerk as he turned to see the creature grabbing on his broom now.
"Fuck it!" he said to himself loudly, and not even giving it a second thought jumped off his broom and finally reached his brother. But now he had no idea how they were going to stop.
And suddenly he felt them slow down all the adrenaline that burst during the initial chase and his free fall seemed to have taken their effect as Harry gave a slight chuckle before allowing himself to pass out.
Book 3 – Chapter 9: Get Out.
Andrew opened his eyes to find himself in the Gryffindor common room. He frowned and looked around in slight confusion before standing stretching his arms over his head. Looking around he found he found that his room mates were all missing, with another frown he left the room and made his way to the common room. Again it was completely empty, not a soul in sight.
"The hell?" The boy wondered out loud.
He continued and left the common room and made his way to the great hall, once he arrived it was also devoid of anyone. Okay now he knew for sure that something was wrong. The Great Hall being completely empty was impossible there would always be students in here from all the years.
"Follow."
Andrew spun around quickly. He scanned the doorway not finding a single person he quickly went into the hallway only to find it empty again except... He narrowed his eyes, he saw movement out of the corner of his eye; a person. They turned the corner.
Acting quickly Andrew followed this mysterious person but every time he made a turn he found the making another turn, he barely caught them.
They weren't wearing a school robe, instead they wore a gray colored robe and they seemed to... glow? Andrew continued to follow the person calling out to them every now and again to get their attention but would be soundly ignored. Before he knew what was happening Andrew found himself in the dungeons but... this wasn't the schools dungeons, if anything the walls in this underground tunnel were darker, colder than the dungeons found in Hogwarts. Where was he?
Finally the person stopped and Andrew thought he was getting a break but then they went into another room, dammit. Running he walked into the room and froze in complete shock. There seemed to be some sort of ritual happening. Figures dressed in dark robes all surrounded another person. A man, as Andrew crept closer he was certain he knew this man but before he could put his finger on it, he was yanked backwards but a strong arm. He didn't see the person as panic and fear started to invade his mind.
"Not ready."
That was the last thing he heard before he felt himself losing consciousness and blacking out completely.

Harry had been awake for about 2 hours before his teammates and friends came by to pay him a visit.
"Harry! Are you alright?" Hermione asked as she came in; she looked up and saw Andrew two beds away from his brother, she looked closer and saw his chest rising and falling and sighed in relief before turning back to Harry.
"Yeah mate, that was a nasty fall." Ron added as he walked up to the dark haired boy.
Harry moved his body a bit but found nothing to be in pain. "I'm a bit stiff but other than that I'm fine." he responded with a smile. "What happened?"
"Well, Dumbledore was pissed." Fred stated.
"He slowed you two down then gave the Dementors an earful before sending them away." George added.
Harry nodded before he looked at Hermione again.
"Hermione?"
"Yes?" she asked with a small tilt of her head.
"What's that in your arms?" he asked with a frown.
"Oh! Oh, well Harry. I'm sorry. Well, after you fell off your broom... well it flew into the Whomping Willow and... Oh Harry, I'm sorry." she said in a quiet and sad tone.
Harry watched as his broom was unwrapped from the bundle of cloth and revealed his shattered Nimbus 2000. He felt his heart break at the sight. He loved that broom, it was his first cool gift and it was utterly ruined. Sighing he told Hermione it was alright before he felt a large spike of fear rip through his body. Turning quickly he looked at a still sleeping Andrew.
"Oh hello."
Harry and the rest of the Gryffindor team jumped at the sudden greeting and turned to see a tiny blonde girl wearing a sweater consisting of Gryffindor colors. There was a moment of silence before their brains kicked in.
"Hello. Are you a first year?" Angelina asked with a small frown.
"Oh, no this would be my second year." the girl responded airily.
"Oh? I don't think I've seen you around in the tower." Katie spoke up for the first time.
"That's because she isn't a Gryffindor, her name's Luna Lovegood, she's a Ravenclaw in my year." Ginny provided as she entered the Medical Wing and shot the tiny blonde a smile.
"Oh hello Ginny! Quite right."
"What are you doing here?" Hermione asked before her face became horrified. "The dementors didn't affect you did they?!" she asked as she took a step towards the girl to ensure she was alright.
"Oh, no, no, no, no I'm here with Su, we're checking on Drew." she said as she pointed to the bed that held the still unconscious boy, Hermione blinked in surprise when she saw the small Asian girl next his bed and what's more Andrew's broom was placed by his bed. A fact she wasn't the only one to notice.
"Where did she find his broom? He fell off it further up than I did." Harry asked curiously.
"Well, after we left the stadium, we decided to check on Drew we turned around and made our way back to the Quidditch pitch and saw the broom fall into the lake." Luna answered honestly.
"... Then what?" Fred asked curiously.
"Su went in and got it." she responded just as easily.
They turned back to the girl again and saw that she was in fact dripping wet as she next to the boy's bed.
Madam Pomfrey shot the students a foul look as they crowded Harry's bed, but didn't say anything as the boy seemed to be recovering brilliantly. With a look of warning she made her way over to Andrew's bed and the Gryffindor's could hear her make a comment about knowing the drying charm as she shot it at Su before running several spells over Andrew and giving Su one last look that seemed softer than the last one and moved away to her offices.
"How do you think he is?" Hermione asked softly, mad at herself for not asking or checking on her best friend earlier.
"I mean, Pomfrey seemed quite content with his results right? Or she would've kicked... err... what's her name?" Ron asked softly.
"Su. Su Li." Luna answered immediately.
"Well, she would've kicked Li out."
Hermione seemed to accept that answer that is until Harry spoke.
"He's been asleep for hours. I think three or four Dementors got to him before he fell. And just now I felt... I feel like something isn't right."
"What do you mean?" Hermione asked with a frown.
"Well, usually I can... feel him. I think it has to do with being as close as we are and going through a lot together, something like a link between us." Harry said trying to explain what he meant.
"We know what you mean..."
"We're twins, so we just have this like connection between us." George explained.
"Yeah! Well, I don't... feel him, well not completely, he is there, but it's faint." Harry said.
Hermione, having heard enough gave the broom splinters to Ron and moved to Andrew's bed. Once she arrived she found Su sitting with her nose in a book, but her eyes weren't moving; showing Hermione that she in fact wasn't reading.
"Mind if I sit here?" Hermione asked with a small smile.
Su looked up in surprise before blinking a bit. "O- Of course."
"Thank you. So I heard you found Andrew's broom. Fetching it from the Lake, that was quite brave."
"No, i-it was an illogical move. I should've ju- just summoned it. But I acted without considering all of my options. Be- Besides, I'd read that if submerged in water certain brooms can be negatively affected." Su answered shyly.
Hermione smiled at the girl. "Well, I know he'll be happy you got it for him. Also you've learned the summoning charm already? Isn't that a fourth year charm?" she asked with bright eyes.
"F-Fifth actually. T- Tonks decided that i- it could be useful if I ever needed it." Su responded ducking her head slightly.
The others watched this interaction with small smiles even Harry before he noticed Luna beside him, he looked up into her deep blue eyes and smiled.
Luna smiled back before turning back to the Ravenclaw and Eagle in Lions clothing where her smile dimmed slightly.
"They are quite similar aren't they?" she asked turning to Harry once more.
"Well, I don't know Su but by the way they're talking I would certainly assume so." he answered.
"They have more in common than they realise and these similarities will only continue to grow, both in ways you'd expect and in ways that you wouldn't. They're essentially two sides of the same coin." Luna said calmly.
"Do you know Hermione?" Harry asked with a frown.
"Hmm? Oh no but... I see her." Luna answered cryptically.
Harry was about to say something else before he gripped his head and let out a scream which was instantly mimicked by Andrew who screamed in his bed, the hand which held the ring his father had given him on one of his fingers.
After Madam Pomfrey chased the rest of the students she turned to her screaming patience and tried everything she could think of to get them to stop, but her diagnostic charms showed nothing wrong, physically or mentally with the boys. In a desperate attempt she floo'd Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape who all showed up in a matter of minutes.

Outside, Hermione and Ron noticed Dumbledore rushing into the Medical Room, quickly shutting the door as he entered, but that didn't stop the two thirteen year olds from hearing their friends screams of pain. After being chased out, the rest of the team decided to head back to the tower to inform them of what had happened to their house mates. Hermione felt tears prick at her eyes as she turned away from her other male friend and was startled at the teary eyed Su was beside her. In seconds Tonks also arrived and demanded to know what had happened.
They explained the situation and the seventh year Hufflepuff stared at the door and true to form she could hear the faint screaming of her friends. She turned to Su and saw her being comforted by Luna this was obviously out of the girls element as her breathing was haggard and quick, her eyes scanned the area as if to find something to occupy herself with. Tonks then turned to Hermione and saw the girl doing the same thing, though tears were freely falling from her eyes.
Without thinking she wrapped an arm around the girls and felt them suddenly suck in a shuddered breath before leaving all pretenses and crying openly. The Hufflepuff turned to look at Ron who was sat on the ground his knuckles white from squeezing and his eyes were screwed shut as if to stop his own tears from falling.
Seeing that she would be in good hands Luna walked over to Ron and sat down next to him. In a flash she had her arms around him and the red head froze before turning and hugged the girl back as his tears slowly soaking the girls sweater.
An hour passed before Dumbledore finally left the room, his hair frizzled and his blue eyes sparkling but not as blindly as they usually did. Once he saw the teenagers who were valiantly awaiting news of their friends he couldn't help but notice two more additions, he couldn't tell their roles yet, but he was sure they would be very important to the group in due time.
"Sir." Tonks said with a nod before she slowly untangled herself from the other two red eyed girls and approached him.
"Good evening, Ms Tonks." he greeted with a happy smile.
"How are they?" she asked looking quite worried about them.
"They have recovered, but they are currently under Dreamless Sleep Potion, and I have been told by Madam Pomfrey herself that they will receive no visitors this night. So if you don't mind taking the others to their dorm before retiring yourself as I believe it has been quite the... exciting day." Dumbledore said with a tired smile.
"What about food?" Ron asked his voice hoarse from crying. "Mum always said we shouldn't sleep before we've eaten."
"Honestly Ron? You're thinking about food right now?" Hermione asked tiredly.
"He is right, Hermione. You should eat. I shall ask the elves to bring you something once you're in your rooms." Dumbledore said stopping a potential fight before it broke out.
"No thank you, Sir. I don't think I could eat right now." Hermione said as she stood and helped Su up.
"Alright, well we will inform you the moment they are awake." Dumbledore promised as the five students made their way away from the Medical Wing.
Dumbledore sighed.

Throat thrashing screams tore from the two boy's mouths as Dumbledore entered Pomfrey's Wing. He instantly shut the door to spare the children outside the sound. He rushed forwards and saw the two Potters clutching their heads while screaming painfully.
"Poppy, explain." Dumbledore demanded as he approached the beds.
"I don't know! Everything was completely fine! Harry was up a few hours ago while Andrew remained sleeping, I figured it must've been because he had actual contact with those demons while Harry hadn't. Then their team mates and a few others came by to visit! Everything was going well if not a bit cramped but they were fine, until they just started screaming!" Pomfrey told him urgently.
"Did you run scans for their mental activity?" Snape asked as he stepped closer to the boys as well.
"Yes! Everything seems in order! I don't understand!"
"We must breach their minds." Dumbledore said after a few seconds.
"Albus! You can't be serious! That is a serious offense!" McGonagall said scandalized.
"We do not have a choice! Or would you prefer your lions in pain!?" Snape asked angrily.
"There are steps to this..."
"They have no parents! So what would you do in this scenario?!"
She stopped short at that before nodding reluctantly.
"Alright, remember Severus, they have been studying the art of Occlumency, I am unsure of their strength in the art, but we must enter their minds!" Dumbledore shouted over the screaming. With a nod from Snape the two men entered the two boys minds.
They were first met with their shields but those were quite easy to break down, they couldn't focus on that while in pain so they broke through the barriers and were met by different base level protections.
Snape trekked through the castle as fast and as carefully as possible, he knew this castle like the back of his hand but Harry apparently knew it pretty as well, as the Potions Master found himself a little off track a few times before he found the Quidditch pitch and scoffed at the boys simplicity. Once he summoned the snitch from the air, immediately he was standing in front of two doors; one lead to his classroom while the other to Binns' room. Severus had no illusions that the boys hated him and thus entered the History class and found the fabled 'Mirror of Erised' Snape took a breath, he had an idea of what Harry's heart would desire... but could he face it himself? He shook away those thoughts, the boy was in pain now wasn't the time to be spiteful; he turned to the mirror and thought of the only woman he ever loved with the man he hated.
Dumbledore entered Andrew's mind and saw something he was not expecting – the Dursley's residence, with a blink, he entered the room and encountered a very angry looking Vernon Dursley. He frowned slightly before the man advanced on him.
"I'm going to beat you boy!" he yelled angrily as he raised a fist to the Headmaster.
In a flash Dumbledore sent a stunner at the man only to be thrown back and landing roughly on the ground.
"Albus, what happened?!" Minerva asked as she advanced on him.
The screams continued, so Dumbledore acted quickly and approached Andrew again. "I'll explain later!" he shouted before diving back in and once again found himself facing an angry Dursley.
He sighed and stood still, waiting as Dursley approached he closed his eyes and let the man strike him before he found himself in the trophy room, thousands of awards scattered around the room. He had no doubt that picking the wrong one would once again eject him from the mind so decided to be cautious as he scanned the room. He finally found a name that seemed too ridiculous, and that helped since it helped him remember it 'Hert Gerber: pudding eating champion' the 40's were an odd time. Moving on he saw a room with three creatures: Troll, Cerberus and Basilisk, these all played vital roles in their lives. The Basilisk obviously being the creature they found in the Chamber, the Cerberus being Hagrid's three headed guard of the Philosophers Stone and the Troll being the catalyst that brought all of them together.
Dumbledore thought for a second before approaching the Troll and smiled. The Giant creature stepped aside and allowed the Headmaster to enter a door which lead him to a very quaint sitting room somewhere in the castle. He knew the one thing the boys valued above all else was their connections to their friends and the Troll had been what made them as close as they were so the answer was quite obvious as long as you knew where to look.
He looked around and Andrew's memories floating around the room beautifully Dumbledore scanned them and found a few involving the Dursley's which looked less then friendly but decided he didn't have time to investigate; then he saw it; a dark, near black memory bubble off to the side of the room as he approached it he felt colder and colder unsure as to what he was looking at until he touched it and felt a sensation very similar to a portkey pull him into the bubble.
Turning he found something he never thought he would see Andrew crouching on the ground in the fetal position with Harry sitting beside him holding him closely and Severus watching over the two boys.
Dumbledore approached slowly and caught the attention of the three occupants. Harry saw him first and his face morphed into a look of shock then Severus shot him a blank look and Andrew, Andrew looked mortified.
"What the fuck are you doing here?!" he yelled angrily.
"Sir, you have to leave." Harry said urgently.
"What is happening here?" Dumbledore asked looking surprised.
"They refuse to divulge that piece of information, Headmaster." Snape provided.
"Get Out!" Harry screamed at the Potions professor.
Snape simply sneered at the boy while Andrew continued glaring at the Headmaster his cheeks wet with tears.
"Leave us alone! Get out! Get out of my mind!" Andrew screamed.
Snape and Dumbledore took a step back, surprised at the usually calm boy loosing all composure.
"Get out, quick." Harry said to the teachers before turning back to Andrew. "Andy, calm down. Please calm down. Please."
"LeavE us AloNe... lEaVe Us aLOne... Get oUt..."
Whispers floated the room, directed at the two professors. They felt a chill as the whispers were distorted and oozed the threat of harm.
"Potter, what's going on?!" Snape asked as he looked around cautiously.
"Just... Get out! I'll explain everything but you have to get out! This... Andrew's... you have to leave!" Harry said angrily.
"WhY...? mUM? daD? WHErE aRE you? Get OUt! PAIN... pAIn... MAKE IT StoP..."
The whispers were becoming louder and more threatening. Dumbledore turned to Snape and nodded.
"Harry..." the old man said sadly.
"It's fine! I've got this, but it's becoming angrier! Get out quickly!" the boy responded as he hugged his brother.
With a nod Dumbledore pulled himself out of the boys mind, he blinked and saw that Snape had also just exited. They shared a look before turning to the others in the room.
"It would appear there isn't much to do but wait for the boys to calm themselves down." Dumbledore provided sadly looking older than he ever had before.
"But Albus..."
As if on cue the two boys stopped screaming and returned to breathing softly. Their chests rising and falling in rhythm. Immediately Pomfrey headed over to the two boys and ran her scans again. They were clear. Snape suggested the Dreamless Sleep Potion to stop any night terrors the two boys may experience and in a flash the Medi-Witch had two potions and nursed them down the boys throats.
Dumbledore promised he would explain everything to the teachers in the morning, but was feeling extremely tired. After they agreed the Headmaster made his way out of the room and ran into the Potter's friends and decided to ease their minds.

In his office Dumbledore made his way to his desk and took a heavy seat. He was immediately joined by his familiar who sang softly.
"I fear Andrew might be falling deeper than we first imagined." he said sadly.
Fawks coo'ed softly.
"I thought we'd have more time. Could this be because of Black? What do I do?" he moaned quietly.
Fawks rubbed his face against Dumbledore's and sang again.
"Yes, I do believe you could be of more assistance to the boys. Thank you my friend."
With a small nod, Fawks flamed away from the Headmaster and reappeared on a chair placed between the two boys beds and began singing softly.

The boys woke a few days later and when questioned by faculty and friends claimed that they couldn't remember a single thing that happened when they screamed. Most excepted this answer except those the boys were hoping to avoid; Dumbledore.
Once they were cleared for guests the first few were their friends monitored very closely by Madam Pomfrey. Ron, Hermione and Tonks entered the room and questioned the boys about their episode, they claimed ignorance and the answer was reluctantly accepted by the others. Once they had to get to class Tonks walked over to Harry and looked him in the eye.
"I'm so happy you're okay." she told him with a soft smile, which then turned sad. "I- I'm sorry I wasn't here, I was in the library and the twins found me... and..."
"Hey, it's okay, really. You've got NEWT's coming up, you have to concentrate on that."
"Ms Tonks, don't you have classes?" Madam Pomfrey called out from the door, Tonks sighed softly.
"Hey, don't forget you owe me an adventure." she scolded him with a small smile.
"I haven't forgotten. You'll get it, I promise." Harry answered with a smile.
There was a beat of silence before...
"That was cute, really... but now you've practically guaranteed a life threatening scenario for us... so congrats." Andrew said evenly.
"Ms Tonks!" Pomfrey called again.
"You'd better leave before she forces you to join us." Harry said with a small laugh.
Tonks agreed and gave the boys a small kiss on their cheek each. "Get better soon! I'll see you later!"
Once Poppy closed the door and muttered about deaf seventh years Andrew turned to his brother with a smirk. "So... that was adorable."
"Shut up."
HP-AP-HP-AP-HP-AP
As the boys expected their next visitor was their ever vigilant Headmaster and resident 'stick up his arse' bastard. The four occupants all regarded one another or in Snape and Andrew's case glared viciously. No one said a word before Dumbledore sighed tiredly.
"How are you doing, boys?" he asked softly.
"We're fine sir." Harry answered with a smile.
"Do you remember anything that happened during your incidents?"
"No, sir. Last thing I remember is fall off my broom during the Quidditch match." Andrew answered as he spared a glance at his broom.
"Hmm, and you Harry?"
"Talking to Luna, uh a friend of Andrew's." he elaborated.
"Ah yes, Ms Lovegood, quite the interesting character she is." Dumbledore said with a small smile.
"She's ridiculous." Snape snarked from the side.
"Watch your mouth..." Andrew growled at the older man.
"Watch your tone, Potter! I am your elder."
"Now, now, let us not escalate this further than it has to go." Dumbledore said shooting Snape a look.
Andrew and Snape's glaring at one another turned darker and a cool breeze blew through the room. Dumbledore shot a quick look at Andrew before quickly moving the conversation forward.
"Boys I fear I may have some bad news for you." Dumbledore said sadly. "I am afraid that during your... incident. Severus and I, we had to access your minds." he told them.
"Excuse me?" Andrew asked his eyes narrowing dangerously.
"We had to access your minds to stop you from scaring half the castle with your screaming." Severus added with a sneer.
"I swear to God..." Andrew muttered dangerously.
"Sir, did you get anything?" Harry asked after shooting Snape a sneer of his own.
"... We are unsure. When we have an answer I will call you to my offices and let you know." he told Harry with a nod.
Snape though wasn't having it. "Why didn't you let anyone know that your minds are linked?"
Andrew desperately wanted to tell the man to mind his damn business but barely refrained.
"What are you on about?"
"You will respect me boy."
"Get to the damn point!" Andrew told him coolly.
"Your minds are connected! We saw that when we entered your subconscious."
"Sir, I don't know what you're talking about..."
"Don't. Lie. To. Me."
"Get Out."
The two adults froze for a moment, the whisper was so similar to the one they had heard a few days ago in the boys' minds. They turned to Andrew his face blank but his lip occasionally twitching into a sneer.
"Get Out." he repeated softly.
"Andy? Professor Snape, I believe it would be beneficial if you left." Harry told the man, with no room to oppose. Though the Headmaster could see the beginning of an argument on the man's lips.
"Severus." Dumbledore urged the younger man, who after a moment started moving to the door.
Once the Potions Master left the room Andrew drew a deep breath and immediately began calming down.
"Andrew?" Dumbledore asked softly.
"Sorry, it's... it's been a rough few days." the boy told Dumbledore softly.
"I completely understand, my boy. I will leave the two of you to resume your recovery." As he turned to leave he turned back to them one more time. "Oh and boys, while I do truly admire your shields, perhaps you may want to add a few more fail safes, one can never be too sure."
When they nodded and the headmaster left, Harry shot his brother a look.
"I don't know, okay? It's all so... blurry. I- What are those things doing to me?" Andrew asked his brother sounding scared.
That within itself scared Harry himself and without a second thought, the boy went over to his brother and pulled him into a close hug.
"I don't know, but I promise you, I'll do everything in my power to help you through this." Harry told his brother. "Whatever you go through, I go through. That's the deal."
Dumbledore canceled the listening charm and headed back to his office to think. This situation with had to be sorted out soon, anymore exposure to the Dementors was something he couldn't risk Andrew going through, he was too close to snapping.
And there we go! That's the chapter! I honestly surprised myself with this chapter. The boys were supposed to get the news of Sirius this chapter but it evolved into this, but I'm not mad.
I hope you all enjoyed! In the next chapter they'll definitely learn about Sirius' connection to them, but until then!
Peace, Love and Respect!
Zak!
