Hope you all enjoy!
Last time on Black and White
Sirius nodded. "Did you know I wasn't just named your Godfather, but also Andrew's?"
Harry smiled. "No I didn't."
Sirius smiled back. "No, I suppose you wouldn't James and Ray were quite the pranksters to each other. So I was wondering, when I get cleared, would you and Andrew... that is to say... would you like to live with me? I know you've got your aunt and uncle and I wouldn't want to put you out, I just thought, you know maybe during Christmas holidays... you'd come over and spend it with me..."
Harry stared at the man open mouthed.
"That'd be wicked!" he said happily. No more Dursleys, he was happy with that.
Their moment was cut off though as they heard Tonks' desperate cries.
"Professor, Professor Lupin?! What's wrong?!"
The moon had been exposed from behind the clouds which had previously blocked it.
Book 3 – Chapter 14: Let's Try That Again
"Remus!" Sirius shouted running over to the man who now looked at the pale white moon with a glazed look.
"Tonks step back!" Andrew yelled untangling himself from Su and running over to the older metamorphmagus.
A scream ripped through the air and they watched, horrified as the transformation took place. His skin stretching and ripping over his forced change. The chilling sound of his bones breaking and reforming to accommodate his new form. Sirius' cries of desperation were not heard as the now wolf threw the man to the side and let out a bone chilling howl.
The werewolf turned to the group of students and started his advance towards them, his head held low and muscles tensed as if to attack, but in an instant a large black dog tackled the wolf to the side and growled at it protectively.
It was then that Andrew noticed Pettigrew who also watched the fight with a small grin. The portly man turned and saw Andrew watching him and gave a small condescending wave before he morphed into a rat and ran off into the brush.
"No!" Andrew yelled trying to reach him. But was stopped when Hermione grabbed his arm. Unseen by the group was the flash of a bright red light off in the direction Pettigrew had escaped to.
"You little shits!" they heard and turned to see Snape running over to them, only to stop when he heard a yelp, and turned to see Remus' werewolf form and shielded the children.
The black dog once again tackled Lupin but was picked up and thrown into a stone which resulted in a loud crunch as many of his bones broke.
"Sirius!" Harry yelled as he ran after them.
"Get Dumbledore!" Andrew yelled as he ran after his brother.
He ignored everyone who called after him and made his way down to where Harry had been pelting Remus with rocks to distract him from killing Sirius, of course this just resulted in him now turning his attention on to his brother.
Andrew ran forwards and called out to the beast, unfortunately he miscalculated the distance, a massive swipe with one of his paws sent the teen flying into a tree, he heard the familiar sound of his ribs breaking and was reminded of second year again before the wolf turned back to Harry.
As the massive animal approached they heard something off in the distance. A howl.
A-fucking-nother one?! Andrew thought to himself in a panic. But the howl seems to have worked in their favor as Lupin turned and chased after the noise.
Harry and Andrew (with immense difficulty) ran off and found Sirius laying down beside a small lake in the forest and approached him.
"Sirius! Sirius wake up!" Harry called out.
"Is he okay?" Andrew asked.
"He's breathing but I think Lupin really hurt him." Harry replied not seeing his breath coming from his mouth, but Andrew certainly did.
"Oh no." he muttered as he looked up.
Cloaked figures swarmed around the three of them and continued to do so. One broke away from the pack and attacked, it swooped down and the boys watched, horrified as the creature began sucking the happiness from Sirius.
They stood up immediately and began casting.
"Expecto Patronous!" they yelled in unison, causing a shield to appear and blocked off several attacks before they too had their happiness sucked from them.
Andrew let out a scream, but made sure to reinforce his blocks so that it wouldn't affect Harry like it had before. Another Dementor attacked and Andrew could only stand and gasp as visions of green lights, women screaming and begging, the Dursley's constant reminder of his uselessness and beatings flooded the front of his mind.
He collapsed on the ground and turned to see that Harry wasn't fairing any better. He crawled over to his brother and grabbed his hand. Then he turned to see six more dementors sweep down to them, when suddenly a wave of warmth hit him, the negative memories were now replaced by the smiling faces of his brother, Ron, Tonks... Su... Hermione... Andrew felt warmth and happiness swell inside of him and then he saw it.
A massive silver stag, ran across the now frozen lake the light it radiated reminding him of his happy memories. He looked over and saw Harry was also in awe. Then they noticed him, on the other side of the lake, obscured by the light of the stag... was it him?
"D-Dad?" Harry asked tiredly.
"Mum?" Andrew muttered before he joined his brother in darkness.

Harry opened his eyes and found himself now sitting in the Hospital Wing. He looked around and found Ron and Andrew in the beds on either side of him. Ron had a cast on his leg while Andrew's upper body was wrapped in gauze.
He sat up slightly and saw the others. Hermione saw him wake first and rushed to his side.
"Harry are you okay?" she asked, eyes red from crying.
"Yeah, I'm okay. How's Andrew?" he asked looking over at his brother.
"Stable, I heard Madam Pomfrey say that his ribs had been broken so they healed that." Su replied from the seat between Harry and Andrew.
"But he was exposed to those things again... and Madam Pomfrey doesn't know why he isn't waking up... You don't think this is like last time; do you?" Hermione said her voice cracking a bit.
Harry stopped and concentrated on his link with his brother, only to find that he had locked him out like a bank vault. He couldn't feel anything or hear anything from his brother, it was almost as if he were... as if he weren't there.
"I think he'll be alright." Harry said confidently with a nod.
Hermione shot the dark skinned boy a look and turned back to Harry.
"What happened down there, mate?" Ron asked from his left.
Harry sighed, he looked back up and recounted what had happened, he caught Tonks, Su and Hermione wince at the news about how Andrew had ended up hurt and everyone looked awed when told them about their savior.
"That's wild..." Tonks muttered in shock.
The others didn't get to say much else as the doors to the Hospital Wing were opened and three adults entered the room; Dumbledore, Snape and Minister Fudge entered the room and cast a glance at the students around.
"Good evening." Dumbledore greeted with a small smile.
"Sir!" Harry exclaimed at once. "Sirius is innocent!"
"Hmm, truly?" the aged professor asked while he stroked his beard.
"Oh, don't be ridiculous." Fudge said condescendingly while he fiddled with his green bowler hat.
"With all due respect, no one was talking to you." Harry commented coldly.
"Harry!" Hermione shrieked in shock, she rushed next to him and whispered something in his ear.
"I don't care if he's the Minister of Magic. If he isn't even going to let me say my piece than he isn't worth wasting breath over." Harry responded to his bushy haired friend.
"Now you listen to me, boy." Fudge started looking over Harry angrily.
"Minister." a voice drawled. "It would appear to me as though Potter and his little band of misfits were bewitched by Black." he said while shooting the boy a glare.
"That isn't true!" Tonks protested.
"Right, Black didn't cast anything on us!" Su added firmly.
The others nodded.
The Minister turned back to Snape. "Yes, it would appear as though you are correct, Mr Snape. Sirius Black shall be kissed tonight and an article placed in the Early Issue of the Daily Prophet letting the public know of their new found safety. Yes, that seems right."
"Minister Fudge, please!" Hermione tried.
The man ignored her and turned to Dumbledore. "You'll see to it that the convict is prepared?" he asked.
"Peter Pettigrew is to blame, not Sirius!" Harry tried again yelling angrily at the man, who turned to face the Boy-Who-Lived.
"I'll believe it when I see it." Fudge responded coolly.
"Hmm, yes well Cornelius, I can certainly say that you'll find culprit of all these crimes ready to face justice." Dumbledore said with a small twinkle in his eye. "Severus, perhaps you should accompany the Minister here to the Ministry and maybe come with a few members of the Daily Prophet. We must ensure that we have the proof available, word of mouth is only so reliable, after all."
Fudge was nodding along to Dumbledore's words fiercely.
"Yes, yes. Quite right, Dumbledore. Very good. Now, Mr Snape, shall we?" Fudge asked motioning to the door.
Snape shot Dumbledore a look of suspicion before nodding to the Minister and moving out of the room.
Dumbledore turned to those in the room and found on his feet looking determined.
"Professor, you have to believe us! Sirius is innocent."
Dumbledore sighed.
"I know, Harry."
"But, sir you don't under- I'm sorry?"
"I know, or at the very least I believe you. I believe what you're saying about Sirius and now we have to move. Ms Granger I do believe you'll be most helpful."
Hermione looked confused as she regarded the Headmaster.
"I believe three turns should be sufficient. Now remember, Sirius is being kept at the top of the highest tower in the castle. Should you succeed not only will you save more than one innocent life this night, but you shall receive unforeseen rewards." Dumbledore said with a small smile as he turned and left the room humming a small tune to himself.
"Maybe he really is going senile." Tonks said with a frown.
Hermione ignored the comment, stepped forward and pulled out a necklace she had. To Harry it seemed weird, the design of an hourglass wasn't something he personally found appealing but he wasn't the greatest to ask about fashion, so he figured he'd just let it go.
"That's a time turner!" Su gasped as she stepped closer to inspect the necklace.
Harry was very grateful he hadn't voiced his ignorance to a room full of intellectuals.
"What's a time turner?" Ron asked with a frown.
Harry remembered Ron was in the room and was one again very grateful.
"It's something Professor McGonagall lent me at the beginning of the school year. It's how I've been getting to all of my classes." Hermione answered. "So, who's going?" Hermione asked looking around the room.
Tonks instantly raised her hand. "I think it'd be better if someone older and with more spells went along in this." she said with a nod.
Hermione couldn't fault her logic then turned to look at Harry.
"Well obviously, I'm going." he said with a nod of his own.
"Okay, well I don't know much about these since the ministry is extremely cautious about handing them out, but I don't think three people should use it at once... so-" Hermione sighed at this point. "I don't really like it, but Harry and Tonks, you'll have to go alone."
"Go where?" Harry asked.
"You'll see in a minute." Tonks told him with a small smile.
"Now; make sure you aren't seen by anyone, I'm not kidding, messing around with time can have some serious ramifications. It's 12:10 in the morning right now, so you have to make sure that you're back here at that time. Oh and, please be careful."
Tonks and Harry nodded as Tonks took hold of the small hour glass and turned the small knob beside it three times. Harry's eyes widened as he watched everything around him move but in reverse and at an alarming amount of speed.
"What is..." and in a moment it all stopped and he was standing in the hospital wing but it was mid – late afternoon if the sun outside was any indication.
"4:15? Where were we at 4:15?" Tonks asked turning to face the confused Harry.
"Oh, uh... Hagrid's I think?"
"Right, let's go!" Tonks said pulling him along. "We don't have any time to waste."
They started running to the entrance hall as Harry still tried to make sense of everything. "Tonks what is..."
"Later." she replied cutting him off and continuing her descent down the moving staircases.
It took a few minutes but the two teens finally found themselves in the courtyard and once again passed the executioner sharpening his Ax.
They continued until they arrived at the end of the corridor and heard extremely familiar dialog.
"...Hermione, lower your wand, he isn't worth it." Harry heard his brother say again.
"What the hell...?" Harry muttered as felt Tonks grab him and pull him aside.
"Harry, you have to calm down."
"I'm sorry, do you know not see what I see?!" Harry asked.
"Harry, this is what time turners do, they send the wearer back a few hours." Tonks informed him quickly.
Harry looked slightly less confused as he looked back to Tonks.
"Okay, I guess that makes sense. So what? We can't interact with the past?" he asked slowly.
"Absolutely not. Harry, dangerous things have happened to magicals who've screwed around with time. It isn't illegal per say, but it is heavily looked down on. Besides we're kinda fucking with space and time here; wouldn't want to cause a universe ending phenomenon, ya'know?" she responded sternly.
Harry nodded and figured she was right. He turned back to his group of friends just as Hermione's fist connected with Malfoy's nose.
"Christ that girl's got an arm on her." Tonks muttered as she winced slightly.
"It's all those years of knocking sense into Andy, Ron and I." Harry whispered back with a small chuckle.
As the Slytherins fled, Harry heard his friends celebrating and had a question pop into his mind. What would happen if he...
Suddenly he grabbed his head at the exact time his past self and his brother did, both of them looking angrily at each other as if they were the culprits. Technically Andrew wasn't wrong.
"What happened?" Tonks asked the raven haired boy as the group started to move.
"I tried something I shouldn't have." Harry responded as he gasped for air. It was an almost impossible to explain feeling; he had his own thoughts, then there were Andrew's and then there were his own again. It completely messed up the perfectly balanced mind blocks they had built up. He wasn't going to do anything like that ever again.
As they watched the group head to Hagrid's hut, Harry and Tonks moved a little into the forbidden forest and followed a small distance away.
They continued on their until they saw their counterparts, being greeted by the large man let into his home, the moment the door shut however, Tonks happened to trip over something metal and landed with a painful "oomph!"
"You okay?" Harry asked helping her up.
"Yeah, I'm good. Bloody chains in the forbidden forest..." she mumbled in an annoyed manner. "What are these even doing here?" she questioned while throwing her arms up.
Harry smiled at her antics and turned to the shiny metal and followed them to see a content looking Buckbeak happily grooming himself.
"Oh shit..." Tonks whispered when she noticed the Hippogryph.
"It's okay." Harry told her as he stepped closer to the animal. "You just have to show him respect. They're extremely proud creatures." Harry informed her while he made direct eye contact with the large creature and gave a low bow which Buckbeak returned with a nod of his own head.
He along with Tonks sighed before they heard something that made them freeze.
"Minister, I know we've been over this, but is this truly necessary?"
"There isn't much I can do, Dumbledore. I have been bombarded with letters by parents concerned for the safety of their children, especially after Malfoy Jr was very nearly injured." the shorter man responded as they made their way to Hagrid's hut.
"Crap we have to let them know." Tonks whispered.
"No, we have to get Buckbeak out of here, remember that Andy, spots them." Harry told her.
"Oh right. Well, lets get this guy free." she said as she raised her wand.
"Wait."
"What now?"
"Wouldn't they blame Hagrid for his escape?" Harry asked with a frown.
He quickly raised his finger to his lips as he noticed their past selves hiding behind the massive pumpkins Hagrid grew. Once they got away, Tonks replied to the younger boy.
"You're right. Any ideas?"
"... Maybe, but it's tricky."
Harry explained his plan to Tonks who looked both surprised and excited by it.
"Okay, yeah you weren't kidding. It is going to be tricky."
"Think you can pull it off?" Harry asked nervously.
"Sure... it isn't that hard really." Tonks replied with a shrug.
They had a few minutes to prepare and Harry was never happier to have been forced to study from his brother. He soaked the relevant information he needed for his side of the plan.
At that moment the door opened and they saw the adults coming out of the hut. They quickly ran to their positions as quietly as they possibly could before Harry saw Hagrid lead the other three to the spot where Buckbeak was resting. The Hippogriff immediately looked happy to see Hagrid which made the man in question tear up sadly at his friend.
The executioner stepped forward, his ax glistening in the light menacingly, Buckbeak seemed to sense that something was wrong and slowly backed away from the man and started pulling at his chain. The sneer of disgust on the Minister's face when he saw Buckbeak made Harry lose some respect for the man.
Just as the executioner raised his weapon they heard a voice.
"Dumbledore? Minister?"
The three men turned and looked, they saw Lucius Malfoy standing at the edge of the forest peering in at them. His expensive looking silver robes bouncing the the twilight hues off his body.
"Mr Malfoy, what a surprise to see you here." Dumbledore greeted while peering at the man over his half-moon glasses.
"Ah, Lucius, you're just in time. Would you like to watch?" the Minister asked, gesturing to Buckbeak.
"Not particularly. No." the white haired man responded. "If you would, Headmaster, Minister; I believe there are a few words that we must exchange."
"Alright. Nott, you and Hagrid stay with the beast will you?"
"No, tell Mr Nott to join us. This is quite a serious discussion." Lucius chimed in.
"Hmm, then perhaps Hagrid should watch-"
"Not a chance! He might help the beast to escape!" The Minister argued loudly, cutting Dumbledore off.
"Then, perhaps Hagrid, if you could prepare some tea? Or even a large brandy?" Dumbledore requested with a kind smile to which Hagrid returned.
"Aye, Headmaster Dumbledore. I've just bought a new bottle from Diagon Alley, I have." Hagrid informed them somberly before lumbering up to his little cottage.
Dumbledore and Fudge turned to the aristocrat and made their way out of the forest to talk to Lucius.
Harry made his move.
He rushed over to Buckbeak, giving him a few rubs on the back to calm him down before pulling his wand from his robes and pointed it at the chain that held the magnificent animal.
"Alright, Beaky; I'm going to try to get you out now, Okay?" He asked as he made eye contact with the animal. He turned back to the chain and acted quickly.
"Aguamenti. Diffindo!" Harry muttered in quick successions.
The frozen chain links snapped apart when the severing charm hit and just like that, Harry managed to save Buckbeak from a cruel death. Before grabbing the chain. He rushed to the edge of the forest and seeing that Lucius Malfoy was facing the dark trees. Harry waved his hands and flashed a thumbs up.
Tonks, found mimicking a Malfoy both, enjoyable and stressful. Acting as a complete arse was fun, but Dumbledore kept shooting her a look, a look that seemed all knowing and that made her nervous. Damn the old man and his all knowing eyes.
Tonks looked up and saw Harry waving at her. She had to repress a sigh of relief before turning away.
"Right well, I believe you can handle it from here?" Tonks/Malfoy asked in a pompous tone.
"Oh? Leaving already Lucius? I would've thought you'd want to see the creature that almost maimed your son." Fudge asked with a small wringing of his hands as Dumbledore peered over his spectacles.
Dammit old man!
"Unlike some, Headmaster; I have business to attend. Good day." and with that, Tonks briskly walked away from the duo of wizards. All the while feeling Dumbledore's gaze on her back.
Finally she reached the curve where she knew they wouldn't see her and quickly rushed into the forest. She looked up and saw their earlier selves watching from near the castle.

Andrew looked around and saw... a house. A house he didn't really know. Actually scratch that, he did not know this house in the slightest. Nothing about it triggered any memory in his mind. In his confusion he heard a faint voice.
"Name that which you wish to see, and from this place it shall be."
"What? Who said that?!" he called out which caused his voice to echo.
"I am the one with stories untold, the one with knowledge to shape young and old."
Andrew decided to skip over the rhyming choosing to simply ignore it.
"Okay one with stories untold. Where am I?"
"Your story begins not where mine began, but rather a few centuries past, my friend."
"That was a horrendous rhyme scheme, just so you know." Andrew couldn't help but say. "Okay so, my story? What would that be?" he asked with a shrug, figuring he was in some weird dream.
"I will show you, the history of previous Lords, their rise and fall, the curse of George."
Andrew couldn't help but frown at the name George. Who the hell were they?

Tonks and Harry waited until nightfall to finally move away from where they had been hiding. They moved along and found their way to a nice secluded area a small distance away from the Whomping Willow.
"So what now?" Harry asked with a small frown.
Tonks stretched her arms over her head. "We wait. This is gonna take a while."
The two of them sat down, and watched as Lupin rushed into the hidden passageway soon followed by Snape.
The two teens sat in relative silence for a moment while they watched the sun set and the moon rise. Buckbeak was off in the background happily distracting himself with some bats.
"So, this is what your adventures feel like?" Tonks asked with a small grin.
"Well, admittedly this year's one is a bit slow, but usually Andy and I are at death's doorstep by this point." Harry responded, then added. "Andrew more than me."
"Oh so you're the careful one?"
Harry groans in an exaggerated manner. "Honestly, saving him every year is such a pain."
Tonks chuckled at that. "I can't wait to hear his side of the story."
Harry chuckled as well. "Please don't tell him I said that."
Tonks broke out in laughter at Harry's words. Harry smiled back while watching her, he couldn't help it. The pale light of the moon high-lighting her peaceful blue hair, her voice echoing through the dark forest behind them. He continued to stare feeling himself becoming lighter as her laughter continued.
When she finally calmed down she turned back to the third year and gave him a soft smile.
"I can't believe this is my last year here." she told him as she turned back to the scenery ahead of them.
"Yeah..." Harry said softly, suddenly feeling a cold sense of dread. "Excited for Auror training?"
"Somewhat, I heard it's really tough to get in."
"You can do it." Harry said confidently.
"Thanks, man."
They lulled into a state of silence as the sounds of Buckbeak munching on an unknown animal filled the air.
"Think we'll see each other again?" Harry asked, not looking at her.
Tonks turned to him and lightly punched his shoulder. "Of course we will. You think you're going to get rid of me that easily?" she asked with a small laugh.
Harry smiled back softly. "No, I doubt I will." he stated.
The two continued to stare at each other before the they heard a commotion. Turning they saw themselves exit the Whomping Willow.
"Oh I meant to ask you, what are you two talking about there?" Tonks asked as she gestured to Harry and Sirius on the hill.
"He's asking about Andrew and I. He offered us a home with him."
"Harry, that's wonderful!" Tonks said happily.
"Yeah, I was thinking somewhere sunny. I think, he'd hate living somewhere confined, you know after Azkaban. So somewhere open with a view, maybe near the ocean." Harry said happily.
The moment was short lived though as Tonks calling out to Lupin echoed through the air.
"Shit. We've got to go!" Tonks said.
"Wait, Pettigrew." Harry said pointing at the rat man.
"No Harry, there isn't time, we've got to move now." Tonks said urgently, as she grabbed his hand and pulled him into a run. The two ran along side the action when Harry noticed him; Pettigrew turning into his rat form and running away from the group.
Harry back up a bit and waited, sure to form the traitorous bastard appeared.
"Stupify!" Harry called, catching the rat with the stunner.
"Harry what the hell are you doing?!" Tonks called out.
Harry grabbed Pettigrew and caught up to her. "Sorry, I'll show you in a bit." Harry told her.
"Come on, we've got to go. You and Andrew are getting your arses kicked by Professor Lupin." Tonks said urgently.
Harry blinked and ran after her. They traversed through the forest keeping on eye on the ever moving targets. They watched with bated breath as Harry distracted Lupin from killing Sirius, Lupin proceeding to throw Andrew against a tree and turning back on the raven haired boy.
"Shit! We have to do something!" Tonks said desperately. She looked around frantically before remembering something she had studied about werewolves. Cupping her hands around her mouth she took a deep breath and howled.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Harry asked desperately.
"Saving you!"
She howled again this time getting Lupin's attention.
"Oh..." Harry muttered.
"He's coming this way."
"Yeah, we should probably move!"
