Last Time on Black and White:

"So what was he doing in the castle? Was he the one who attacked Andrew? Does this have something to do with the Tournament?" Harry asked in rapid succession.

"I would also like to know that? Was he the one who attacked my Godson and does this have to do with the tournament?" Sirius asked echoing the questions.

Dumbledore looked at the three in front of him and gave a sigh before he responded.

"Well, we don't have his full confession, but it is more than possible that yes; he attacked Andrew and somehow affected the Goblet."

Book 4 – Chapter 12: Choose Your Fighter!

After the talk in Dumbledore's office the boys were excused. Before she disappeared into the Floo Harry came jogging up to Tonks and shot her a smile.

"Wotcher." he greeted.

"Hey you." she greeted with a bright smile. "I'm sorry about, you know. All of... this." she told him with a gesture to the room.

"Yeah, you'd think we'd get used to it by now." Harry replied with a shrug. "But anyway, how goes the Trainee program? I see you have a badge now."

"Yeah, no- this is just for formal things like now. I was actually in Bones' office before coming here, she tossed me the badge and told me to act like I had finished the program. So after this it's right back to the mud." she responded with a small groan.

"Oh that sucks, sorry to hear that. So I guess I won't be seeing around for a while then?"

"Unfortunately, but don't worry we'll be able hang out again soon. Until then maybe supplement yourself with some lovely ladies, y'know?" she said while wiggling her eyebrows.

"Tonks..."

"Oh come on, you're 14 you're allowed to break a few hearts!" she said with a whimsical laugh.

"Trainee Tonks!"

"Ah crap, I'd better head back before Bones has my hide. I'll owl you as soon as I can alright?" The pink haired auror smiled at him before placing a soft kiss on his cheek and winking at him. "Something to remember me by." she said as a parting remark before grabbing some powder and flooing back to the ministry.

Harry stood rooted in place a hand on his cheek before he snapped out of it and turned to face the rest of the room. He saw all the males shooting him a knowing smirk while Professor McGonagall seemed rather stern judging by the thin line of her lips.

There was a light trilling in the room before a bright red bird fluttered over and landed on Harry's shoulder. Harry turned to see Fawks seemingly laughing at him. He shot the phoenix a look before headed towards two people he knew were about to tear the Mickey out of him.

"That was soo sweet." Andrew said with an exaggerated sigh.

"Like Pumpkin Pasties sweet." Sirius chimed with a small swoon.

Fawks added his own two cents as he too trilled sweetly.

"Shut up." Harry groaned.

"No luck, bud. As your Godfather it is my duty to humiliate you as much as possible."

"Same goes for me, as your brother."

"It was nothing." Harry tried.

"Nothing huh? Hey Andrew, do you stare longingly at something you deem 'nothing'?

"You know what Sirius? I do not. I'd definitively say that's a telltale sign of it being something."

"I would have to concur with you."

Sirius and Andrew joked around until Harry; looking like a tomato, headed to the door of the office while the other two chuckled and continued teasing him.

Once they left Flitwick turned to the other to educators in the room. "It is nice to seem them like that." he stated.

"Yes, though I must admit, I am rather nervous about Sirius influencing the boys. It has been a rather quiet year, it would not do to have that man reignite their pranking bone. Especially with the other schools here." McGonagall said with a small sigh.

"It is nice seeing them open up like that. I do believe Sirius will be a good influence on the boys as they will be for him. I am a bit surprised and rather happy that Fawks has taken such a liking to Harry." Dumbledore said with a small smile.

"Now Headmaster shall we reconvene after supper perhaps to discuss the matter of damage control?" the Vice Headmistress asked.

"Ah, yes of course, we'll call for a meeting after supper with the rest of the faculty and discuss everything then." Dumbledore nodded.

"Very well then." she replied before headed out, leaving Flitwick and Dumbledore alone.

"I believe it's quite obvious that one of their names has been entered into the tournament." Flitwick supplied.

"Yes, I fear the same thing. Now the question would be, who did he enter? Or did he enter both?"

"Seeing as how he attacked Andrew and discovered that the boys knew about him or at the very least suspected him. I fear there may not be a way to accurately predict the outcome."

Once Sirius, Harry and Andrew made their way towards the large double doors, talking merrily among themselves they heard someone shout out and turned to face them. Su came up to them with Luna skipping happily along side her.

"Hello Harry, Andrew, Mister Black." she greeted with a small nod.

"Oh please call me Sirius. Mister Black is uncomfortably formal." Sirius said waving away the formality.

"Oh right. I'll do so in the future." Su replied with a small nod.

There was a moment of silence, no one really knowing what to say until Luna jumped in.

"Sirius... like the dog star." She said airily. "Speaking of Dogs did you manage to register your animagus form with the Ministry? It wouldn't do for the rat to oust you when you've just gotten free." she added nonchalantly.

Sirius stared at the girl with no little amount of shock on his expression.

"How'd you know about my animagus form?" he asked quietly.

"Hmm, isn't it obvious?" she replied with a small shrug.

"No, I haven't yet. But I suppose you're right, it wouldn't do to have Pettigrew give the ministry this information." he replied with a thoughtful expression.

"So Su, what can we do for you?" Andrew asked choosing to not acknowledge the conversation between his odd little moon and his Godfather.

"Right, I've gotten a response from my mother, she's very excited to meet and talk to you." she told him.

"Oh brilliant. Um, we don't have a Hogsmeade weekend for another two weeks, but I'd like to get this done as soon as possible. We'll talk to Flitwick about maybe setting up the meeting in his office then I'll find you when we have a response, yeah?"

"Great, I'll uhh, wait for you till then." Su said before pulling Luna along.

Watching the two enter the Great Hall, Andrew couldn't help but say out loud.

"Is it just me or does it feel like we spend a lot of time in there?"

"It does, doesn't it?" Harry replied with a small shrug.

"Well, I'd better get on. Take that little girl's advice and register myself before my appointment with the mind healer." Sirius said with a small sigh.

"It's fine, we'll be seeing you soon enough anyway, right?" Harry asked.

"Hmm, you know what you're right. We will. Well, come on, give us a hug." he said holding his arms out to his side and waiting for the two boys to hug him.

"I think we all know that isn't going to- arrghh!" Andrew was cut off as Sirius hugged both boys in his arms and shook them around slightly. Having a Godfather was annoying, but Andrew had to admit, the man gave great hugs.

Once Sirius had gone, the day progressed as usual, the boys attended their classes; with Andrew shooting Draco a cruel look every chance he could, he hadn't forgiven the Blonde prat for what he done to Hermione and he would make sure Draco paid for his crime.

Once the classes had come to an end and the boys attended their extra lesson Andrew brought up the meeting to Flitwick.

"So what do you think, sir?" Andrew asked a little hopefully.

"I don't see any reason why not, just let me know when Mrs Li would be coming and I'll set everything else up."

"Thank you, sir." Harry replied with a wide smile.

"Now come boys, back at it; spell chaining. The correct combination and you'll have your opponent dealing with things they never thought about before. Actually, why don't we have a little sparring session?" Flitwick asked with a grin.

"Sir, you'd wipe the floor with us." Harry answered with a straight face.

The tiny professor chuckled at that. "Yes, yes I would. But I'm not talking about dueling me, I mean each other. It would be interesting to see how you two think."

The brothers shared a look before nodding.

"Excellent. Now, opposite ends of the classroom." Flitwick said, vanishing some of the desks and chairs in order to better accommodate the boys. "Now then; on my mark! Ready? Duel!"

Harry started immediately, sending a load of spells at Andrew, forcing the other boy to either dodge or shield from the constant barrage. Stupify, Expelliarmus, Incarcerous, Rictusempra, Locomotor Mortis, etc.

Andrew dodged and shielded while being genuinely surprised, Harry had been reading ahead? Well whatever he was doing it was working. Andrew could feel his energy draining as he continued to dance around and shield from the constant barrage.

Harry's spells seemed to actually shake his defenses, literally making Andrew vibrate at the amount of raw power that shot past him or rattled against his shield. He could honestly say, Harry's power rather scared him.

Knowing he had to come up with something soon Andrew decided to try and lure his brother into a false sense of security.

Harry watched his brother and was happily surprised to see that he had him on the defensive. He was under illusion that Andrew would outsmart him, but he had no idea that he had this much raw power. Each spell that shot from his wand caused the small stick to vibrate ever so slightly.

He watched as Andrew didn't seem to have much chances at countering, and that was exactly what Harry wanted. He knew that his brother had a lot of physical stamina, but the months of lazing about, and not running from Dudley's gang or learning to skate made his brother's body slightly sluggish, and he was going to use that his advantage.

Harry hadn't let up for a moment, shooting several more jinxes at Andrew not giving him time to come up with a strategy, then he saw it, Andrew's weight shifting sides- left to right, and shot the disarming spell in that direction to catch him off guard. But of course, that isn't what happened.

Andrew suddenly stopped his motion and hopped to his left that slight miscalculation gave Andrew exactly what he needed. Raising his wand he fired the Argumenti spell at his brother and didn't let up. He continued shooting the stream right at his brother while Harry's shield charm held true. It was almost as if watching someone standing under a water fall with an umbrella.

The stream suddenly stopped and Harry watched his brother in confusion. Andrew suddenly jumped and pointed his wand downward.

"Glacius!" he declared freezing the ground instantly and looked on in satisfaction as Harry's feet had frozen to the water that had once laid under him.

"Time!" Flitwick called, making both boys stop their assault. "Excellent job boys, both of you! That was a very entertaining duel!" the Charms professor gushed excitedly.

"But sir, no one won." Harry said as he breathed heavily.

"Not necessarily, I'd say you've both won this duel! Well, that is up to where I had stopped it. But you see I wasn't interested in a winner. Rather I was curious as to which dueling style you boys would adopt, and honestly both are wonderful if not without their own strengths and weakness' of course." he said as he looked between the two boys.

"Harry, let's start with you." Flitwick said as Harry cast an Incendio charm to melt the ice encasing his school shoes.

"You are a 'power dueler'; in other words you use your raw power to beat your opponent down. Not a bad tactic, it doesn't give them time to counter and keeps them either shielding or moving, allowing you to dictate the rhythm of the fight. But there are downfalls; particularly the constant casting will take a toll on your energy before your opponents. There is also the case of you being so solely focused on one target that you effectively leave yourself open for attacks from the flank or the rear." Flitwick said while thinking.

"And Andrew, you're what I'd like to call the 'coiled dueler'; almost the exact opposite of Harry, you prefer to take your time, looking for openings or weak spots in your opponents form before striking. Can I assume, you froze the floor when you noticed Harry hadn't move an inch since you started dueling?" At the boy's nod, Flitwick continued. "You lay in wait, like a coiled snake, until finally you find your opportunity and strike. Now the downfalls of this are similar to Harry's – energy, holding a shield for that long can take quite the toll. Also, you may find yourself defending against more than one enemy and waiting too long to come up with a plan, may end up being your undoing."

The boys shared a look. This was quite interesting, they now knew how they fought.

"First thing I'd suggest is physical training, well more specifically stamina training, building that will be sure to assist you boys in the future." Flitwick said with the nod of his head. "Then perhaps awareness and maybe even sensory training...yes, that would be the best."

The two boys watched as Flitwick flittered around his class for a moment before turning to face the boys.

"I understand this is all to get you boys up to dueling standard but I've honestly been more excited for a duel before. You boys have so much potential!" The professor gushed happily. "Now I think that will be all for today, best get some rest."

Once the boys left his office Andrew was tracked down by Madam Pomfrey who looked utterly peeved.

"Mister Potter, I told you to return to the Infirmary immediately!" she scolded.

"But, why? I'm fine. You said so yourself, my bones were healed up almost immediately." Andrew argued.

"That isn't the point, Mister Potter!"

"But it is! That's the whole point of the Infirmary, to ensure that all ailments and wounds are tended to. Mine are, so can I please just not go back?"

Pomfrey seemed to shake in anger for a moment and the Potters were sure that she was about to bind Andrew and drag him back to the Hospital Wing by force.

"Fine, I'll let you go this time, but should you feel any discomfort, I want you to come to the Hospital Wing right away." she told him angrily and waited for the boy to nod his head before turning and headed down the hallway, muttering about stubborn students.

"Bullet dodged." Harry muttered with a grin.

"Oh just you wait, you'll be in there soon enough and I'll be the one making smart-arsed remarks." Andrew said with a small huff.
