The Battle of Hogwarts

Soon, except for Aimee and Dudley, the exams were upon everyone. Ginny came one evening with her O.W.L. timetable and Hermione's study planner. Hermione urged Ginny, Luna, and Caitrin to revise into late hours in the night. She, Ron, Neville, and Harry would also revise until after midnight before turning in.

Very soon, it had become common to find Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Draco, Caitrin, Dudley, and Aimee sitting in Room Number Eleven of the ground floor with their heads bent together revising hard hours into the night, and even spending whole weekends there!

"This is how school's supposed to be!" Harry said happily one evening as they all were revising. Dudley frowned, "What do you mean, Harry?"

"Remember, Dudley, my school years have been completely different from yours!" Harry said.

Dudley remembered Harry talking about his Hogwarts career. The Philosophers Stone, Ginny and the Chamber, the Alleged Mass Murderer and the Traitor, The Triwizard Tournament, and everything going on since his parents were killed in that attack at Number Four. Dudley agreed with Harry. At least Dudley had had normal school before his fifth year at Smeltings.

Dudley returned to his Herbology. "Oh, what's this called?"

"Hey, Nev. What's this called?" He suddenly asked Neville, whose eyes were closed in concentration.

"W-What? Oh, that's the adult form of a Mandragora." Neville said. Immediately the hall grew cold, and it began to snow. "Nev, stop making it snow!" Hermione said. "S-Sorry, I'll set it right," Neville said. Once it had stopped snowing, Dudley said, "Sorry for disturbing you, Nev. I should've realized you were in the middle of revision."

Other students who were their friends had joined them on at least one occasion in that classroom, such as Dean, Seamus, Lavender, Parvati, Padma, Demelza, Colin, Hannah, Susan, Ernie, Terry, and Anthony. Harry was pleasantly surprised to walk into the classroom one day to find Blaise, Daphne, Crabbe, Goyle, and even Pansy Parkinson studying with the group! Pansy was no longer bothering Draco. She was too busy with her revision. She, after all, wanted to become a high-ranking Death Eater like Bellatrix, and a Prefect like Tom Riddle would only hire the best students with the highest marks for that purpose. Now that Bellatrix was dead, many DE aspirants and existing DE's were clamoring to take on Bellatrix's role.

When Draco turned seventeen, he received a parcel from Lucius and a note, "Draco, Happy Seventeenth!" It was the traditional gold watch witches and wizards gave their children once they turned seventeen. Draco had cried that evening, and everybody in Room Eleven abandoned all revision for one hour to cheer Draco up.

Dudley turned seventeen on the day Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville had their Defense Against the Dark Arts exam. After the exam, they made their way out to celebrate his birthday and their end of exams. Harry told Dudley and Aimee about Thestrals, Hermione still breaking down over the fact that she had to be the one to watch that DE die.

Even though the exams were over, Aimee and Dudley still had lessons. Even as June ended and the summer began, the classes were held at Potter Manor except for Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures, for which they had to go to Hogwarts. So, during the summer, Mondays and Tuesdays were devoted solely to Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures. Soon, Neville and Harry turned seventeen as well.

Soon, it was August. Ron Weasley was the new Head Boy, and Hermione Granger was the new Head Girl. Ginny Weasley was made the Gryffindor Prefect for girls. Bill and Charlie were going to be teaching at Hogwarts this year too. There was a party at Potter Manor to celebrate this. Soon, Ginny's birthday arrived. Harry took Ginny out to a romantic movie. Harry had booked a corner seat, Ginny sat by the wall, and Harry had the aisle seat. He put an arm around her, and she snuggled against his chest. Throughout the movie, Harry and Ginny shared kisses and popcorn and cola. After a romantic dinner date, they made their way back to Potter Manor late in the night.

Dudley stood at the door. "There you are, guys! Audrey went into labor two hours ago! They've gone to St Mungo's!"

In the early hours of the next morning, Audrey had given birth to a girl. As she held the baby, Percy beamed at her. She and Percy had named their firstborn Molly in honor of Molly Weasley nee Prewett.

Dudley decided to continue his studies in the muggle world. He had already taken a gap year, which would affect his future career should he choose to work in the muggle world. He enrolled in distance learning. He continued his classes with Aimee.

September the First was a rather rainy day, and King's Cross Station was filled with people. That year, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, and Draco entered their seventh year at Hogwarts, while Ginny, Luna, and Caitrin entered their sixth.

However, as everybody made their way to their dormitories, Professor Trelawney asked Harry if he could help her carry some books up to the Divination Tower. "It would be of great help, dear. And if you want, I'll give grace marks to Ginny..."

"Sorry, Professor, Ginny has dropped Divination. Besides, I wouldn't encourage grace marks because of favors like this." Harry curtly said. He remembered all his Divination classes and homework sessions with Ron and suppressed a smile. The two boys would make their own predictions and dreams and present them as homework.

But Professor Trelawney had suddenly stopped. "I'll keep these books here then. P-Professor?" Harry called out.

Trelawney slowly turned around, "The Chosen One shall not be alone. A metal that shall be wielded only by the life partner of the Chosen One will be involved! The one to conquer a dragon shall change the direction of the War! The subdued will rebel against the Dark Lord under the leadership of one of the subdued!"

Harry stood, shocked. Professor Trelawney returned to her normal state and said, "T-Thank you for your help, dear. I'm pained that Ginny, like her brother and you, hasn't chosen to continue with the noble art of Divination."

"W-What was that you told about the metal, the dragon, and the rebellion?" Harry asked.

"W-What? I never said anything like that, Dear. I understand that you'd be exhausted. Why don't you go to bed?" Trelawney said and left.

The first thing Harry did outside the room was to send a Patronus message to Ginny, Hermione, and Ron describing what exactly happened with Professor Trelawney. Sure enough, when he reached the Common Room, the three of them were waiting for him.

"This is about V-Voldemort, right? It means we need a metal that only the Chosen One's life partner shall wield. Hang on, that means you, Ginny!" Ron said rather loudly.

"W-What? M-Me? Wield a metal something? But what is it? And what's this dragon and rebellion she said? Does that have anything to do with Charlie?" Ginny said.

"Oh, Dear!" Hermione said, her eyes widening in realization.

"What?" The three of them demanded.

"Harry, remember I read about the soul bond in the Potter Library and the Hogwarts Library?" Hermione said, "I also read that if there's a prophecy or saying concerning the soul mate(s) and that the two are to be married for a task or mission, the mission will be incomplete without them getting married! You and Ginny should get married soon. That's what it means!"

"W-What?" Harry and Ginny said together.

"She is only 16, and I'm only 17!" Harry pointed out.

"Go and ask Trelawney! She is the one who made the prophecy!" Hermione retorted.

Ron stared at all of them as though he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "A-Are you two going to get married now?"

"W-Well..." Harry hesitated. "Ginny, look, no pressure. You're free to disagree if you want. D-Do you want to marry me shortly? We can plan it for October."

After a pregnant pause, Ginny said, "Bit early for me, but I'll do anything for you, Harry! I do!"

The following day at breakfast, as Professor Weasley (Bill) handed over the timetables, Harry requested a private word with the professors.

The professors stared at the black-haired young man and the red-haired girl sitting in front of them in the staff room sure enough in ten minutes.

"I have never had much patience with Divination." Minerva began.

"But Sybill has already predicted things that have or are happening!" Bill noted.

"So, you mean to say this one is true?" Filius asked thoughtfully.

"Potter, are you sure Sybil was giving out an actual prophecy?" Pomona asked.

"Yes, Professor! I have seen her behavior when she gives out real predictions. I know her normal behavior enough to distinguish!"

"Harry, I know you like young Miss Weasley here. But, is this all necessary for you to tell us that you want to marry her?" Horace asked.

"NO!" Harry suddenly said. "Professor." He added to make it sound polite. "I'm not making this up, nor, do I think is Professor Trelawney!"

"Okay, now. Do we have both your consents for this wedding?" Charlie asked, and the two teenagers nodded.

"No, I mean, in the actual sense. Not with the threat of..." Charlie began, but Harry cut in, "No, we want to get married even if Voldemort wasn't in question."

The wedding was scheduled for the second of October, and Potter Manor was filled with news, planning, and preparations. Dudley kept saying, "Blimey, Harry! You can get married at 17 while I can't! I'm so jealous!" But his grin told everybody that he was not in the slightest bit jealous. He was happy for Harry and Ginny.

One late afternoon during the first week of term, Harry sat with Ginny in the Common Room.

"Gin, let me demonstrate how you do nonverbal spells," Harry told Ginny. She huffed but nodded.

Harry was about to cast a spell nonverbally when Ron and Hermione burst into the Common Room. "Angelina and Alicia have given birth to baby girls! Angelina's baby is named Isabella, and Alicia's baby is named Sophia! Alicia and Angelina are doing good! Bill told me just now!"

Harry nonverbally cast the Patronus Charm in his happiness instead of the Levitation Charm he had initially planned on showing Ginny. The silver stag shot around the Common Room and left out of the window. "Send Fred, Angelina, and George, Alicia our congrats!" Harry bellowed at his Patronus.

Harry found the first week of the term going by really well. They say ignorance is bliss. But how much of ignorance is bliss?

Miles away, in a Dark and derelict building, despite the bright weather outside, Voldemort sat in semi-darkness and stared at the cauldron in front of him.

"Have you added everything I told you, Pyrites?" He barked.

Pyrites contracted in fear, "Y-Yes, m-my Lord! I t-think so."

"Why do you think? Are you sure of it or not?" Voldemort raged.

"Y-Yes, I mean, n-no, my Lord!"

Voldemort screamed in utter frustration and returned to his snake.

September passed by like a cool breeze. Quidditch, the DA, classes, and the hours everybody spent with their friends and their love interests made them feel like real school was back. On the evening of the thirtieth of September, everybody left for Potter Manor for the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Granger, Lupin, Tonks, Bill, Fleur, Charlie, Percy, Audrey, Fred, George, Angelina, Alicia, Ron, Hermione, Dudley, Aimee, Neville, Luna, Draco, and Caitrin were all behaving like overpowered bullets, zooming around the Manor and arranging everything. Hope wasn't even seen in one place idle, and she kept herself so busy Harry had to endure Hermione's lecture of "Why are you giving Hope so much work, Harry?!"

That night, Harry went to Lady Euphemia Potter's chambers and saw Ginny packing all her stuff. "And here is the... Oh! The Weasley jumper Mum knitted for me before..." Her shoulders shook slightly. Harry knew that feeling. Lily Potter was so distant from him, and he always felt her absence, as did James' absence. Not to mention Molly and Arthur had become his surrogate parents of a kind. Arthur and Molly weren't the only parent figures in his life. He had Sirius, Remus, Tonks, and Professor McGonagall.

"I know, right? Exactly how I feel!" Harry said sympathetically. Ginny jumped and let out a sob. "H-Harry?"

"Voldemort is behind all this. We need to stop him before he tears apart more families than he already has!" Harry insisted. Ginny put her arms around his neck, and they both remembered each others' parents and parent figures, even the ones who were alive.

"I know, Harry. You never asked for your parents to be killed by Voldemort. You'd rather be with your parents than all this." Ginny wiped her eyes. Harry could also feel the stinging in the corner of his eyes.

Then, breaking apart, Ginny opened a parcel, "I've been meaning to give this to you. A Weasley jumper Mum knit for you before deciding that green looks better than navy blue. Hope you don't mind navy blue?"

"I don't!" Harry smiled. "Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon never gave me anything more than a toothpick. The jumpers are first-class for me!"

Ginny stared at Harry with a mixture of emotions within her. Fury at the Dursleys, pity for Harry, then pity for Dudley, who also had no parents now just like her and Harry, and an understanding that the war with Voldemort would go on if they did nothing about this. So what if she married at 16? She wasn't sacrificing her dreams. She would continue studying and work in her field of interest. The only difference would be that she was married. This was her sacrifice to bring down the wicked tyrant.

"So, anyway, this is going to be my last night in this room. I move into yours after this! We even get a couple's chambers at Hogwarts like my brother and best friend has!" Ginny said.

"You can still use this room whenever you want. I'll come here instead." Harry shrugged.

The following morning, Harry sat on his bed, fumbling with his fingers. "Will you stop that, mate? Or do you want the treatment Lupin said he'll give me during my wedding?" Ron demanded.

"F-Fine, I'll stay put!" Harry said. "R-Ron, do you think I'll be able to stand independently when your sister comes up to me? I have this feeling I'll turn into wine at first sight of her! She is so pretty!" Harry sighed. Ron chuckled. "Don't you worry, Harry. As your best man, I have to ensure you stand still even at the prospect of your knees turning into water."

Meanwhile, Hermione was tying up Ginny's long mane of red hair when she heard the sniff. "G-Ginny? What happened?" she asked in alarm.

"Oh, nothing. Just wish they were here." Ginny said, tearing up.

"Oh, Ginny!" Hermione sadly hugged her best friend from behind. "Ron and I are with you. Harry's with you. All your brothers and sisters-in-law, apart from Remus, Tonks, my parents, Dudley, Aimee, Neville, Luna, Draco, and Caitrin, are here with you!" Hermione said, tearing up a bit.

Draco had volunteered to do the same job Dudley had done during Ron and Hermione's wedding, i.e., taking photos. He grinned at Caitrin, who sat at the end of the second row. In the first row, Remus, Tonks, Mr. and Mrs. Granger, Ron, Hermione, Neville, and Luna sat. Next to Catrin was Dudley seated next to Aimee, who was seated with Audrey and Percy. Charlie, Bill, and Fleur occupied the seats next to Percy.

There were seats reserved to Professors McGonagall, Sprout, Flitwick, and Slughorn. A lot of other seats were reserved for Harry's dormmates, Ginny's dormmates, Hermione's dormmates, Harry and Ginny's friends, and most of the older members of the DA.

"S-She was only a b-baby." Bill sniffed.

"W-When did our baby sister grow up?" Charlie wondered as he wiped his eyes.

"I stand by what I said during Ron's wedding." Percy declared. "They grew up when Ron made friends with Harry and Hermione."

"It was fun," Fred started.

"when we were children" George said.

"and we used to tease one another," Fred said.

"but now everyone is all grown up!" George finished.

Harry stood on the platform with Ron as they watched. First, Hermione walked up the aisle with Mrs. Granger. Mr. Granger, who had volunteered to do Mr. Weasley's job of bringing Ginny to the dais, came with Ginny. Mrs. Granger and Mr. Granger sat down while Hermione stood beside Ginny as her bridesmaid. Soon, Harry and Ginny were declared husband and wife, and everybody cheered, the loudest being from Ron and Hermione.

There was food, drinks, music, dance, butterbeer, and fireworks. The Weasleys all tore up seeing their baby sister married. Lupin was bawling like a baby while Tonks had difficulty deciding which baby to attend to, Remus or Teddy?

Dudley was now on his chair, screaming into the night, "Cheers! The woman has tied up her man now!" At confused looks, he clarified, "It is a muggle expression in some parts of the world, meaning the man and woman have married, and the man will be in the woman's control from now on."

The celebrations went on until past midnight. Ginny started the dance and danced with Harry as the others joined in. She leaned against him and could hear his heartbeat. Harry could smell Ginny's hair as he rested his chin on her fiery red hair. Soon, Ginny and Harry disappeared. Ron fed Hermione a piece of cake as she giggled and snuggled against him. Fleur was happily waving her wand on a piece of parchment that read,

"Bill - Fleur 2 Feb 1996

Percy - Audrey 2 July 1996

Fred - Angelina 2 November 1996

George - Alicia 2 November 1996

Ron - Hermione 2 March 1997

Ginny - Harry 2 October 1997"

She happily muttered, "All the Weasleys chose the same date but different months and years."

The following day, Dudley and Aimee were the only ones awake early. Everybody else at Potter Manor woke up around eleven in the morning. Aimee and Dudley wrote their exams that month. They had Herbology, Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, and Arithmancy. Everybody returned to Hogwarts, school, and work while Dudley and Aimee wrote their exams. They were both happy with the grades they received. Aimee and Dudley made changes to their study schedules after this. Dudley decided to focus solely on his muggle course. Aimee, on the other hand, dropped Potions and continued with the other subjects for her third year.

Professor McGonagall sighed. Just a few months back, she had had this situation with Ron and Hermione, and now, it was with Harry and Ginny. There was a portrait opposite to Woof the Wolf. A portly young man stood next to a coconut tree, Leo the Lion. "Password?" He said lazily.

Harry and Ginny quickly said, "Marauders!" Mineva groaned louder than when she had a few months ago.

"Okay, I'll leave it to you both then." She disguised the groan half successfully as a cough and left. Ginny took the first step inside. The chamber was precisely like that of Ron and Hermione's, with the difference being that whatever was to the right in Ron and Hermione's room was to the left in Harry and Ginny's room. Their trunks and belongings were already there.

As Harry washed his face, Ginny stretched her body on the balcony. The breeze was cool. When she shivered, she felt something warm cover her from behind, and she leaned back. The couple was enjoying the breeze when they heard music from Ron and Hermione's room. "Better put this so we can give them some privacy." Ron's voice came drifting, and Harry chuckled even as Hermione groaned, and Ginny rolled her eyes.

Classes continued as usual, with the only difference being, "Mrs. Weasley and Mrs. Potter" were students. When people went around saying things like, "Mrs. Potter and Mrs. Weasley are in the library." Hermione, Ron, Harry, and Ginny always felt happy. The days went by coolly, but like Harry had pointed out months before, it was the calm before the storm.

Voldemort cupped his hands and put it into the potion, muttering a Dark incantation. The purple liquid turned navy blue, just as he had expected. But as he smiled, he saw to his dismay that the potion turned blood red! "F***!" he cursed. "Pyrites, get out! And wait for my orders!" He barked. Pyrites took off immediately.

Voldemort closed his eyes and activated his Legilimency skills. But search the skies, he couldn't access Harry at all! Why wasn't he able to find Harry? Wasn't Harry a Horcrux? Wasn't there a part of Voldemort's soul inside that scar?

He swept into the Horcruxes. He only saw himself lying flat on the ground staring at Voldemort. He grew suspicious. Why wasn't he getting the signal from his other Horcruxes? He should've heard the sound of the sea from the cave, and the rustling of tree leaves at the Gaunt Shack. But he didn't. Even the silence from the diadem Horcrux was unsettling.

"Come back!" He roared at Pyrites. He knew something was wrong. "Gather all the Death Eaters! Somebody is attacking us!"

Voldemort barged into Malfoy Manor and demanded the diary. Lucius froze. Voldemort held the diary in front of him. "What happened to my precious diary, you insolent fool!" He bellowed.

"I-I'm sorry, My Lord! That Blood Traitor Weasley almost became a victim, but that Potter brat ruined my plans and destroyed the diary!" Lucius cried.

"CRUCIO!" Voldemort bellowed, and Lucius screamed. Voldemort sent the Cruciatus Curse at Lucius four times before setting off.

Voldemort went straight to the Cave and found no locket there! Fury erupted within him as he went to the Gaunt shack. To his shock, even the ring was gone! It was still evening! He could go to Bellatrix's vault! He stormed through Malfoy Manor, grabbed hair from a still covering Lucius Malfoy, drank Polyjuice Potion, and rushed off to Gringotts.

"T-The Lestranges? But…?" Griphook, the goblin, asked.

"I have an urgent business! Take me quickly!" Voldemort, in Lucius' form, demanded.

Meanwhile, Lucius slowly opened his eyes. As the realization hit him, he cried out in horror. Voldemort and his Death Eaters would indeed attack Hogwarts now! He had to keep his son safe! Every nerve was screaming in protest. Despite that, he immediately apparated to Hogwarts. At the gates, he bellowed and bellowed until Hagrid came running, followed by Charlie.

"Lucius Malfoy?" Charlie furiously spat. "What the hell…."

"No, please, listen! My son, Draco! Tell my son, Draco! I don't care about my life any longer! He can kill me for all I care! I want my son to be safe! Tell everybody that the Dark Lord is going to attack Hogwarts in the next couple of hours!" Lucius bellowed into the shocked faces of Hagrid and Charlie.

Then, without waiting for their reply, Lucius disapparated back to Malfoy Manor and collapsed. He had disapparated twice and had had the Cruciatus Curse put on him multiple times that day! He also knew that if Voldemort ordered him to fight, he'd have no choice but to obey.

Charlie and Hagrid raced to the Great Hall, where dinner was in progress. Harry was eating when he heard them shout out the message Lucius had given them.

Meanwhile, Voldemort screamed in fury as the Cup Horcrux was also missing. In anger, he murdered Griphook, turned back into Voldemort, and escaped. He didn't care who came in front of him. "Avada Kedavra!" He bellowed at any unfortunate soul that came into view. He went on a murderous rampage across Diagon Alley.

He needed to keep the diadem and Nagini safe now! That was all he cared about. He set off for Hogwarts immediately. Every single Death Eater had unbearable pain on their left arm, demanding their presence at Hogwarts right away.

Harry whispered something to Ron and Neville and bounded up the stairs. Ron and Neville went up to Professor McGonagall.

"Professor! The Room of Requirement! It can open up a safe passage out of the school! All the students can escape from there and safely go to Hogsmeade while Death Eaters attack Hogwarts! Harry has gone to open it now!"

Professor McGonagall said, "Snorous!" and demanded that every student below the age of seventeen follow their prefects and Head Boy and Girl.

"Where are we leading them to, love?" Hermione demanded.

"You will see in a moment, love." Ron answered. Draco and Caitrin helped Ron and Hermione manage the crowd. Surely enough, they went into the Room of Requirement. It was a long thin room leading to an opening in the wall, which had a tunnel that led to Hogsmeade. There was utter chaos and confusion. People kept asking for their belongings. "There's no time for that! Your safety is of utmost importance! Go! Run for your lives!" McGonagall bellowed. The entire path from the Great Hall to the RoR was extremely crowded. People pushed one another unceremoniously into the tunnel.

As soon as the last student had gone in, a group of people began making their way into Hogwarts via the same tunnel. Bill and Charlie called the entire Order of The Phoenix to Hogwarts. All the inhabitants of Potter Manor except Mr. and Mrs. Granger came, followed by some members of the Order of The Phoenix such as Kingsley Shacklebolt and Mad-Eye Moody came in. Then, Oliver Wood, Katie Bell, Cho Chang, and some other ex-students in the DA came in. They all raced to the Great Hall.

Dudley came running to Harry. Aimee followed Audrey as they went and joined Fleur, Angelina, Alicia, and Hermione. Ginny, Neville, and Luna were grouped together. More than half of Gryffindor stayed back, necessitating Professor McGonagall to walk down and usher those below seventeen outside. A lot of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students stayed behind as well. Pomona Sprout had to personally get down and instruct everyone to move. Filius Flitwick was dealing with the same situation with the Ravenclaws. Slughorn kept directing the Slytherins to follow the crowd. Harry saw with a hint of rage that Pansy was amidst the Slytherins going upstairs.

Minerva McGonagall kept barking instructions. Bill, Fleur, Charlie, Percy, Audrey, Fred, Angelina, George, Alicia, Ron, Hermione, Dudley, Aimee, Neville, Luna, Draco, Caitrin, Oliver, and Katie stood in the Great Hall. There were many others like Padma and Parvati Patil, Lavender, Seamus, Dean, Colin, Demelza, Susan, Hannah, Ernie, Zacharius, Micheal, Terry, Anthony, and to Harry's surprise, Daphne and Blaise! The four House Tables had been removed. McGonagall, Flitwick, Sprout, Slughorn, Vector, Kingsley, Moody, Remus, and Tonks stood on the raised platform. Harry stood between the two groups, and Ginny stood beside him.

It grew steadily darker. As expected, Voldemort and his Death Eaters arrived at Hogwarts. By then, the Hogwarts defenders (an army of members of the Order of The Phoenix, Dumbledore's Army, Harry's old Quidditch team, all the Weasleys, Dudley and Aimee, the professors of Hogwarts, and some regular students like Daphne and Blaise, who simply chose to fight against the Death Eaters) assembled in strategic points across the castle grounds, ready to fight.

Some Death Eaters began firing curses at the walls, and the Hogwarts defenders guarding those places fell. Thankfully, there were Cushioning Charms placed across the grounds, so no one falling from above was grievously injured. Then, all of a sudden, Hermione bellowed to the skies, "CHARGE!"

Harry remembered the prophecy saying, "The subdued will rebel against the Dark Lord under the leadership of one of the subdued!" he knew instantaneously that this part of the prophecy referred to Hermione. She moved graciously like the queens in the ancient legends and fought valiantly against the DE's like a Goddess slaying demons. She led the revolution and charged without fear. She had a wand in one hand and something sharp in the other. She was undefeatable! Parvati Patil represented Goddess Parvati as she conquered hordes of DE's like Goddess Parvati conquered demons like Mahishasura! Padma Patil resembled Goddess Lakshmi as she slew the Ravana's among the DE's.

The defenders and the Death Eaters (DE) moved closer and closer. Harry kept dodging and firing curses at DE's and casting Shield Charms to save the Defenders. Having earlier instructed Neville to kill Voldemort's snake, Nagini, he looked for the no-nose tyrant. He had given Neville two Basilisk fangs, and he knew Neville would do as he said. Voldemort was immersed in shooting Killing Curses randomly and stupidly ended up killing his own DE's more than his enemies.

Meanwhile, Dudley and Aimee had been provided with rifles and guns charmed to be lightweight and fire endless bullets. Harry heard gunshots and random DE's screaming in pain and confusion.

All the Weasleys were fighting, the Lupins were engaged in battle, and Dudley and Aimee were screaming with adrenaline as they fired endlessly from strategic points.

Harry shot curses at DE's as he rushed forwards. He was going to have to find Voldemort. Just then, Dudley fell to the ground from above. "DUDLEY!"

"I am alright, Harry!" Dudley got up. Neville passed Dudley one of his fangs, and Dudley took off, stabbing DE's. Aimee kept firing from her rifles. But Pyrites had seen her. He shot a blasting curse, and Aimee jumped out of there just in time. The corridor exploded, Dudley screamed, "AIMEE!" and there was a body falling down.

But Aimee got up and charged into the battle with a hidden knife. "Clever girl, she is!" Harry thought. Harry shot several more curses when he finally saw Voldemort. His heart sank as he watched Voldemort get into the castle, and he went after him.

"Stop right there, Tom!"

Voldemort turned, furious. "Who dare calls me by my filthy Mudblood father's name?!"

"Me, you ungrateful bastard of a son who murdered his father and grandparents!" Harry spat on Voldemort's face.

Voldemort wiped Harry's spit from his face angrily. "Avada Kedavra!"

Meanwhile, Dudley had gotten hold of both the rifles and had found Aimee stabbing a DE with the fang. "Aimee!" He ran up to her and handed over the rifle she had been using. "T-Thanks, Dudley!"

Then, the couple parted ways to fire curses at different DE's.

Hermione and Ron were always a team and now was no exception. They took down multiple DE's at a time. "How can a Pureblood and a Mudblood fight side by side?" A DE bellowed. In retaliation, Hermione lifted her right leg straight between his legs, "Like this!" she bellowed into his face as he cried out in pain. Meanwhile, a jet of green light filled the Entrance hall.

"Harry, NO!" Moody dived in front of Harry and took the curse.

"Stop shooting the Killing Curse and fight me like a man, Tom! I know where you're headed! The Room of Requirement! To see if that beautiful artifact befouled with your filthy soul still exists! Well, I have news for you! That diadem is gone! Your Horcruxes are gone!"

"What did you say?! How can a filthy Halfblood know so much?"

"I know things you don't know, Tom Riddle. I know lots of important things that you don't. Why don't you save your breath and feel remorse and shame?"

"How dare you!" Voldemort bellowed.

"You have torn apart enough families, Tom! You have caused enough chaos and mayhem! It's time for the final confrontation! No more of your cowardly antics!" Harry spat. "Even Snape worked as a triple agent and fought against your DE's!"

Harry slowly stepped backward to lure Voldemort back outside the castle. Voldemort's filthy presence should not defile the sacred place that was home to millions for the last thousand years. Voldemort took the bait and walked out.

Just then, Ginny and Ron rushed to Harry's side, with wands drawn out, "Tom! So nice to finally meet you in person! I must say, that toilet in the girls' bathroom where I threw your Diary Horcrux was the right place for you to be!" Ginny said pleasantly, as though talking of a party where Voldemort had looked his best.

"Don't forget the one time I vomited slugs and some of the food on his precious trophy!" Ron added, as though highlighting a particularly interesting point Voldemort had made in a speech.

Voldemort's jaw had dropped open. "W-What?"

Voldemort screamed in utter fury, and just then, there was a large amount of dust spreading across the grounds and the Entrance Hall. Harry heard footsteps running away from his direction and followed, thinking that the cowardly Dark Lord must have used this as a distraction to save his own unworthy skin.

As the Defenders and DE's alike kept rubbing their eyes frantically and screaming in panic, Ron could see with his hand shielding his eyes.

A Hungarian Horntail was angrily stampeding the Forbidden Forest and was coming their way! Charlie had told him when a dragon got angry and why. Surely enough, Ron saw a burn injury at the dragon's neck. It was time for quick thinking. He followed his instinct and disappeared into the dust.

When Harry rubbed his eyes and could finally see, he thought he had entered into the legend of Lord Shri Krishna dancing on the heads of the demon cobra, Kalia. Everybody audibly gasped.

"I-Is that Charlie?" Harry heard Bill squeak as Bill squinted into the darkness.

"I am here." came Charlie's voice.

"Charlie? If you're here, who's...?" Percy asked in shock. All of them turned around to look at the red-haired youth on the dragon.

Ron Weasley sat on the Horntail's head, rubbing a paste on a would on the dragon's neck and patting its head!

Harry remembered the prophecy saying, "The one to conquer a dragon shall change the direction of the War!" Instantaneously, he knew that this part of the prophecy referred to Ron. He resembled the Lord of Vrindavan playing his flute graciously even as he calmed down a disturbed but dangerous creature. Just like Lord Shri Krishna had lifted the Govardhan mountain with his little finger and protected his people, Ron had taken the dragon into control and saved both the Defenders and DE's.

Suddenly, a frustrated cry erupted from within the woods, followed by a high, cold voice, "You have failed, Pyrites! That dragon was supposed to wreak havoc in the battle!"

"S-Sorry, my..." A trembling voice began. But the cold voice bellowed, "AVADA KEDAVRA!" A jet of green light shone through the woods. The Horntail screamed in fury and took off, and Ron, twenty feet in the air, fell off the dragon. Everybody screamed! But Ron had no sooner fallen into the woods than a green circle of light expanded from the Forbidden Forest like a flash. Soon, Harry found himself, the defenders, and the DE's in a familiar place. Ginny screamed. Ron was severely injured but moved away from where he sat on Voldemort. He kicked Voldemort's head even as he made to stand up and came to stand in front of Harry as though defending Harry. Harry looked around.

They were in the Chamber of Secrets!
