Last Time on Black and White:

Andrew and Harry shared a look.

"Did he just say Potter?"

"He did?"

"But, which one?"

"That's the question isn't it?"

There was a hush as Dumbledore spoke once more.

"Andrew... Potter!"

There was a moment of silence as the entire Hall seemed to digest the name, but they were interrupted as the dark skinned boy stood and angrily exclaimed.

"Oh. Fuck. ME!"

Book 4 – Chapter 14: Aftermath

"Andrew!" Hermione admonished.

"No! I refuse!" Andrew exclaimed once more.

"Mr Potter, I do believe it would be beneficial to discuss this in the champion's chamber." Dumbledore said firmly, causing the boys mouth to snap shut.

Clenching his jaw in frustration he stood and walked towards the chamber brushing past the teachers.

"Now before we commence," Dumbledore said turning to the student body. "The professors and I thought it prudent to alert you all of the recent development we discovered a few days prior to today's selection."

The student body hushed over once more and waited for the Headmaster to speak.

"It was discovered a few days ago that our own Professor Moody was in fact an impostor. We believe this individual was placed within the walls of the castle to not only spy on the faculty but to enter one of the Potter children into the tournament. It was unclear who his target would be, but now we have our answer."

Harry, Hermione and Ron shared a look, they of course knew all of this, but the question was who would believe the Headmaster. They had been doing damage control as much as humanly possible, letting people know that they had heard a rumor that something was... wrong, that someone had managed to enchant the Goblet and enter the name of an underage student.

"I would like to request that you all treat Mr Potter no differently than you usually would, he did not enter his name into the tournament and as such did not break any rules."

"The Hufflepuffs look pissed." Ron stated looking over at the badger house.

"Well, Cedric was chosen as the Hogwarts Champion and he is a 'Puff, it would make sense that they're upset." Hermione said before shifting her eyes over to the Ravenclaw table.

"Ravenclaws look thoughtful." she said.

"Well, considering Andrew attacked them in their own dorm, I'd say their reaction is pretty tame." Harry added with a small shrug.

"Still, they could be thinking of retaliating for that, we should keep an eye on them." Ron said.

"Anyone surprised by Slytherin's silence?" Hermione chimed in.

"Actually, now that you mention it..."

Looking over they noticed that most of the house wore neutral expressions, Malfoy and his ilk all traded whispers looking excited. The other years looked an odd mixture of amused or curious.

Andrew entered the chamber and looked around the room. There was a fire burning where the other three champions stood and chatted among themselves. Turning they noticed the forth year and blinked in surprise.

"Andrew? Is zere a problem? Do zey want us to come back out?" Fleur asked when she got over her confusion.

Before he could answer though the door to the chamber burst open and several people flooded the room.

"Zis is a travesty, Dumblydoore!" Madam Maxime stated.

"Obviously this is some poor attempt for Hogwarts to have two champions, it is pathetic!" Kakaroff added with a sneer.

"Unfortunately, it is not. Our Auror department is doing everything they can to find out what has happened but until we have our answers, he will have to compete." Dumbledore said with a tired sigh.

Fleur turned to her headmistress and asked a question in French. The larger woman looked back to her and responded in the same language. Once she was done, Andrew noticed Fleur's eyes widen before turning back to him.

"Zis is ridiculous!" the younger woman in the room exclaimed.

"Precisely! Zere 'as to be somezing we can do!"

"Non, Madam, ze fact zat you all accuse 'im of wanting to compete, Andrew 'as stated multiple times how he finds zis tournament to be ridiculous."

Andrew turned to her and smiled in thanks.

"Ridiculous? And what gives you the right to say such?" Kakaroff growled towards Andrew, he noticed Krum's eyes looking at him suspiciously as well.

"Oh, do I finally have the floor?" he asked looking around at the adults.

"Just speak, boy!" Kakaroff snapped.

Andrew narrowed his eyes at the man, but at Dumbledore's look he swallowed his snarky response and continued.

"A thousand galleons might have been a fortune back in the day when the tournament was first introduced but now it barely has any significant value outside of investment. Outside of that, the whole eternal glory thing is a moronic mindset that gave children some delusion of greatness so that the adults could delight in watching them compete in games designed to kill them."

Everyone in the room froze at his words before Krum sported a massive sneer.

"And vhat proof you have of dis?"

"Name the last three champions who competed and died?"

That brought the Bulgarian up short as he frowned in concentration.

Andrew cut in once again.

"Okay, so that the last two cells in your brain don't short out. Name the winner of the last tournament."

He received a glare for his snark but otherwise neither champion nor headmaster could name the winner.

"See? Eternal Glory my arse."

"You..."

"That is quite enough!" Dumbledore cut in. "Now is there anything we can do, Ludo?"

The man in question blinked before rubbing his hands together.

"No, no, the Goblet's fire has gone out, sadly there isn't much else we can do. Mr Potter will have to compete or risk losing his magic." the man said in what Andrew suspected was supposed to be a sad tone.

The headmasters and officials all grumbled to one another no longer paying attention to the students in the room who turned to look at one another.

"So how'd you do it?" Cedric asked, speaking for the first time since Andrew arrived.

"Diggory, we've played against each other for three, fucking years. In terms of sportsmanship and competition you should know that I'd never do something like this." Andrew growled at the seventh year.

Cedric sighed. "I'm sorry, usually I'm a lot more... sure when I make accusations, it's just-"

"No I get it. By all that matters you are the Hogwarts champion. I'm not planning to take that away."

Cedric smiled at him. "Thanks, I'll talk to the others in Hufflepuff, hopefully let them see that you aren't doing this to put Gryffindor on top again."

Andrew laughed. "It's sad that this is your last year here, I'd love to beat you in Quidditch one more time before you leave."

"Maybe we can set something up over the summer. Then you won't have an audience when I utterly destroy you."

"So what do you zink is going to happen now?" Fleur asked softly.

"I'm going to have to compete, I did a bit of research about the artifact with Hermione; a friend of mine, we discovered the Goblet creates a sort of tether with the person who's name is entered in the Goblet, compelling them to compete. It was done so that previous champions couldn't or wouldn't back out at the last second."

"So you think you can beat us?" Krum said deeply.

"No, I don't and I'm not planning to. I'm just planning to survive."

Krum scoffed at his attitude. "You are not a varrior."

"Maybe not, but keep talking and I'll show you that I don't need to be a warrior to kick your arse." Andrew growled as he stepped towards the boy, who sneered and slowly gripped his wand.

"Please stop wiz ze measuring contest. Zer is nozing we can do about it now." Fleur said just as the adults stopped talking.

"Come, Fleur." Madam Maxime said. After a quick goodbye she walked over to her headmistress and left the room, followed by Krum and Kakaroff and finally Cedric and Snape, who was surprisingly quiet through the whole ordeal.

After the officials left, Andrew turned to the Headmaster.

"I am quite disappointed in you, Andrew." he said, not building up with any pleasantries.

"Sir?" Andrew responded in surprise.

"The way you carried yourself this evening is not what I expected of you."

Andrew, was honestly at a loss for what to say, so Dumbledore continued.

"I know this must be rather frustrating, but you must conduct yourself in a manner befitting a Hogwarts student. Now I have allowed you to be rather liberal in the way you wish to express yourself, but I believe it is time for you to curb some of your more... outlandish vocabulary."

"Headmaster I..."

"I know you do not trust me, Andrew."

"W-What?"

"But I would like you to know, that I would never do anything to harm you or your brother intentionally, I will always do everything in my power to protect both of you and hopefully prepare you for the future. Now I don't expect you to open up to me immediately. As I understand it you still keep Sirius at arms length somewhat. But I do ask that you not shut me out completely."

Andrew looked at the old man in front of him and thought about what he had said. He was right, Andrew basically cursed teachers out and threatened them with little to no reprimand from the old man. He knew he was extremely lucky and over the years Dumbledore had proven himself to be somewhat understanding. Perhaps it was time.

"Sir, I- I'm sorry for my actions. I'll do my best."

"That is all I ask, Andrew."

As the two started leaving the room and headed through the now empty hall. Andrew turned to him once more.

"Sir, what can you tell me about my family? It feels like everyone knows the Potters but few know anything about my birth parents."

Dumbledore sighed and looked at the young boy.

"Andrew, there are things about your history that are... difficult to discuss openly. I implore you to allow some time to pass before I tell you. The information is quite sensitive. I am not saying I won't tell you. But I am requesting that you forget it for the time being. Simply allow yourself to focus on the current before we retell the past."

Andrew wanted to fight, claim that he had every right and more to know, but also knew that demanding answers was the right way to go about things.

"Alright, I'll put it aside. For now."

"Thank you, Andrew." he smiled at the younger boy. "Now then, I do believe you should go back to your common room, it is getting rather late."

After saying goodnight, Andrew headed to the common room and stood in front of the Fat Lady, and breathed a sigh before entering.

He walked over the threshold and looked around seeing many faces looking back at him expectantly.

"I didn't put my name in the bloody Goblet." he told them tiredly.

"And how are we supposed to know you're telling the truth?" Seamus called out from the back.

"There's already a Hogwarts Champion; Cedric Diggory from Hufflepuff. It's impossible for there to be two champions from the same school."

"Then how did you get in?" Cormac McLaggen added.

"Weren't you listening to Dumbledore, someone entered his name, probably trying to kill him." Ron said in defense of his friend.

There were a few murmurs but ultimately they calmed down. Andrew shot Ron a grateful look before sitting by his friends.

"So how was it?" Harry asked.

"Alright, a tad frustrating being called a liar by adults but otherwise nothing too bad." Andrew said, choosing to forget his interaction with Krum.

"Did they mention anything about competition?" Ron asked.

"Yeah, after everyone stopped and pulled their head out of their arses," cue Hermione's reprimand. "they finally told us that the first event will be held in the beginning of the following month."

"So it's after Halloween?" Harry confirmed.

"Yeah, knowing our luck we aren't going to have a quiet one nonetheless."

"Well, we'd better head off to bed. No doubt it's going to be an interesting day tomorrow." Hermione said with a small sigh.

"Oh yeah, I have to speak to Su about meeting her mom soon anyway."

As the group stood they bid each other a goodnight, not paying attention to the stormy looks on the other Gryffindors' faces. When Andrew passed by McLaggen he tripped over something and stumbled for a bit before turning and shooting the boy a dark look.

McLaggen and a few others chuckled as the group separated and went to their dorms.

"This isn't over, Potter." McLaggen said in a low tone.

The next morning saw the four Gryffindors in the Great Hall enjoying their breakfast when the morning Prophet arrived via owl. Hermione handed the bird a few knuts and opened the paper up before gasping.

Looking up curiously the three boys looked at her in confusion before they heard a general trickle of laughter litter the hall and immediately they noticed a lot more eyes looking in their general direction.

"Hermione, what's going on?" Harry asked, a sinking feeling setting in his stomach.

The bushy haired witch said nothing and tentatively handed them the paper and waited for the reaction.

Andrew Potter, Tri-Wizard Cheater!

By Rita Skeeter

Good morning dears, at least it would be if the news of Andrew Potter's deceit wasn't the thing we all awoke to.

A long standing Wizarding tournament was thrown into disarray last night when Hogwarts announced the competitors of the Tri-Wizard tournament. The champions being; Fleur Delacour, a Half-Veela hailing from Beauxbatons Academy, Viktor Krum, the professional Seeker from Durmstrang Academy and Cedric Diggory, a seventh year Hufflepuff.

The students were all celebrating the champions who were chosen to compete in this prestigious event when a forth name was ejected from the Goblet; Andrew Potter, brother to Harry Potter and one half of the Boys-Who-Lived.

It is reported that Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts and Supreme Mugwump, did nothing to prevent Potter from competing nor did he punish the boy for obviously cheating his way to Fame. The director of this year's tournament, Barty Crouch Snr, was unavailable due to family issues which saw him temporarily replaced by former Quidditch star, Ludo Bagman from the Games Regulation Department.

I have an appointment to interview the champions later this month and will make sure to get Andrew's side of the story, hopefully I will be able to get through to this delusional young man and make him see that what he has done was irresponsible and reckless, seeing as how the adults in his life have refused to do the same.

"Andrew?"

The boy sat staring at the page that held a picture of him smiling at something from Diagon Alley, coupled with the article, gave the image of a self serving little shit. He felt his blood boil and wanted nothing more than to crush this Skeeter woman to paste and feed her to the smug looking fuckers who kept shooting glances at him and laughing. They all seemed to believe that Dumbledore was protecting him for some reason, he fucking hated them...

"Andrew!" Harry said shaking him.

Blinking he turned to his brother only to see him looking at his brother nervously, so were Hermione and Ron.

"What? What's wrong?"

"Mate, you alright? I could feel the heat coming off of you." Ron said his brows furrowed.

"What?"

"Andrew, you're magic was reacting wildly, look around you." Hermione urged.

When he did Andrew noticed that those in his vicinity looked as if they were caught in the headlights of a car unable to move. He turned back to Harry who looked at his brother with a concerned expression.

"What was that?"

"I don't know, I just got so angry..."

"Calm down, don't let the magic feed off your anger, lock it down." Harry told him.

Nodding Andrew closed his eyes and focused on his occlumency barriers, reinforcing them and calming his raging mind. He turned to look at the Headmaster who also seemed displeased by paper and nodded his head slightly.

Before he knew what happened classes started and Andrew was the center of attention being the central topic of the latest Gossip.

First class being potions was not something Andrew wanted to deal with at the current time, arriving he took his seat beside Blaise who slid him a piece of parchment discreetly. Opening it he read the message.

"Don't take anything Malfoy says to heart, you've proven to be an acceptable person, so a few of us in Slytherin stand with you. Silently, but defiantly. You won't have to keep an eye open for some of us."

Andrew looked over at the boy and nodded his head slightly before turning back to face the front of the class.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the Cheater. Zabini, any reason this trash is sitting beside you?" Malfoy said as he walked over to the two boys.

"Well, considering that Professor Snape, placed us next to each other it would stand to reason that we would continue to do so."

Andrew saw a crack in the blonds cocky expression and knew that Zabini was going to face some backlash back in Slytherin.

"Well Potter? What have you got to say for yourself?" Malfoy said ignoring Blaise and smirking at Andrew.

The dark skinned boy spared the blond a look before turning away from him, he had a lot he wanted to say, but he knew Snape would have his hide if he found out he'd talked back to his favorite mini- err student.

"Don't you turn your back on your betters when they address you, Potter. You will not like the results." Malfoy said sneering at the boy.

Andrew noticed his brother and Ron shaking he managed to grab Harry's attention and shook his head slightly.

"Potter!" Malfoy snapped.

"Wow..." Andrew finally spoke. "Snape sure is taking his time today."

With a growl Malfoy pulled his wand and aimed it at Andrew's back.

"Careful you imbred sack of shit, we already owe you for what you've done to Hermione, you add me to that list and I'll make you regret it for the rest of the year."

"Potter!" came a voice from the door.

"There he is." Andrew muttered sarcastically.

"Twenty points from Gryffindor for threatening another student!" Snape yelled as he entered the room.

"Professor, Malfoy has his wand pointed at Andrew's back!" Ron exclaimed.

"Another ten points for talking back to a professor." Snape said dismissing Ron's point. "Now then, Potter 2, I now understand why you've been doing... acceptably in this classroom. Apparently you've not only been cheating in official competitions, I see." he said snidely.

Andrew grit his teeth, Dumbledore had warned him about his attitude.

"Longbottom, Zabini swap places! Let's see how you do with this blubbering dunce beside you." he said staring intently at Andrew.

As the class went on Andrew was able to prevent Neville from causing another explosion by explaining to him that they had to wait another minute before adding a bottle of sliced lacewing flies. The potion wasn't perfect but it was certainly pass worthy and judging by the sour look on Snape's face when he walked past Andrew knew he had won this battle.

HP-AP-HP-AP-HP-AP-HP

"He just terrifies me." Neville said as they walked out of the classroom.

"Just ignore him, he does it so that you can mess up and make mistakes, then he won't have to grade your work." Andrew said with a small shrug.

"He's a prat." Ron said simply.

"Ronald!"

"No Hermione he's right." Harry said cutting her off.

"Regardless he's still a teacher and deserves respect."

"Based on what? His position alone? Hermione if there were a teacher in this school who say... sexually assaulted his students would he still be deserving of respect?" Andrew asked his friend.

"Of course not but..."

"Why?"

"What?"

"Why not? I mean he's a teacher right? By your logic he should be respected despite what he does."

"That's different, we haven't had a teacher who..."

"I'm more than positive Lockhart had his way with a few students." Andrew said cutting her off.

"Seriously?" Neville asked interjecting in the debate.

"No, he did not." Hermione said tiredly.

"He was an egotistical moron who was riding high on fame, think about it, he sought out fans constantly then suddenly he's introduced to a school filled with students who not only fawn at his feet but are young enough to be manipulated to do almost anything he wanted?" Andrew argued.

"But he didn't attack any of the students, we would have heard about it." Hermione said making her counterpoint.

"We were twelve, we barely registered the opposite sex at that age. Hermione you took his pop quiz seriously which held nothing but his personal information and I'm confident you got all those answers right. If he had stayed a few years he definitely would have targeted you since you were a fan, young enough to be manipulated and eager enough to please." Andrew said.

"What about the other professors?" Ron asked.

"Do you tell McGonagall, Flitwick or Dumbledore about your sexual feelings?" Andrew said.

Ron instantly went green at the thought. "I see what you mean."

"But that's besides the point; just because someone is in a position of power does not mean we shouldn't criticize them, that just makes them act worse." Harry said finishing his brother's though process.

Hermione paused at that and really thought about it. She looked over at the boys and turned away walking to her next class.

The boys watched her walk away in various states of confusion.

"Did we say something wrong?" Ron asked looking at the others confused.
