Can a broken angel fly?
- - -
A broken angel can never fly.
He knew this. Everything he looked into a bright, gleaming mirror- the taunting face stared him in the eye. He own reflection mocked him.
A broken angel with broken wings
He would never fly.
He could always fix anything. Any machine or sickness. Even if others shook their heads in puzzlement at it, he would always find a way to fix it. But not himself. He could not find a way to mend his broken wings. To find a way to fix himself would to true power yet that seemed to be the only power he lacked.
In childhood, he had always been chained down. Beaten. He had always been beaten for his ugly, degrading face.
His face chases away those around him, driving them to lash out coils of stinging pain and words as thousands of perfect faces laughed at him in sadistic pleasure.
After all, the Devil's Child was being beaten.
To these people, he represented every evil with his horrible, terrifying face. He was the loathsome gargoyles that endlessly ran from their God, the church. Now, the Devil's Child, all the demons in the world, was being punished right before their eyes.
But he was not the Devil- he was a broken angel who dared to fly.
Lucifer had been a broken angel also. He had shed his wings in search of a jewel to make his world bright. So bright with the flames of hell.
Christine.
She was his jewel. Her voice the beautiful melody that would light up his kingdom of darkness with black. She would inspire his music.
The music of the night.
And maybe with Christine as his wings, the broken angel will finally fly.

But will I fly? Will I really fly?

Aww! I love poor Erik. He is just so great. My friends and I are doing a Phantom film project…guess who's Erik? XD
I wrote a article for my school newspaper about why Erik is better than Raoul. My teacher said that I was "quirky" and said I was a freak about Yuugiou. XD XD XD I love Mrs. Woods. Great woman.
This thing wasa bit of a spur of the moment thing. Please review though! I will reply if you do.
