(Author's Note: Hellllllllloooooooooo loyal readers!

First off…I know, my updating schedule is SO MESSED UP! You don't have to say it, BELIEVE me…I know.

I saw Spider-Man: Far From Home a while ago…and I LOVED IT!:) Honestly, I knew I would before I even saw it. Spider-Man is one of my favorite characters in the ENTIRE Marvel Cinematic Universe, top five IF NOT top three. My only questioning is that it was made the final film of Phase Three, as opposed to the first movie of Phase Four. I thought that Avengers: Endgame was the PERFECT way to end the Infinity Saga…but, oh well I guess.

I heard a bit about what we can expect for the future of the MCU. Among the Phase Four films, we've got The Eternals, Doctor Strange: A Multiverse of Madness, Shang Chi and the Ten Rings, Thor: Love and Thunder, and a stand-alone Black Widow film.

I'm very curious about the Eternals and Shang Chi films, being able to learn about characters that I really don't know about.

The Doctor Strange sequel sounds VERY interesting to me, as I heard someone state that it'll be more "horror-based" than previous MCU films. A horror MCU movie? Tell me that doesn't sound interesting.

I'm not sure about the fourth Thor movie though. I heard that Natalie Portman's Jane Foster is taking up the "Thor" mantle, and I'm a little…unsure how to react to that. My main hope is that Thor (the REAL Thor) doesn't either die or lose his powers.

The stand-alone Black Widow film has me very excited! The curious thing about it is that I always thought the Black Widow movie would be a prequel film (showing how Natasha became the superhero we know), but I actually heard that it'll be set in-between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War.

Future MCU films that I know we'll be seeing are sequels for Black Panther and Captain Marvel, a third film to complete the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, a Fantastic Four film (FINALLY!), a stand-alone Blade film, and a "mutant centric" movie (which I assume will set up the X-Men in the future).

They also relieved some shows that will be done on the DisneyPlus streaming service. There's the Loki show (which I think is gonna focus on the alternate version of Loki that escaped the Battle of New York with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame), WandaVision, a Hawkeye-centric show, a Falcon/Captain America and Winter Soldier team-up show, and (the one that I'm the MOST excited for) the "What-If" show. That genuinely might be the main reason that I get on that streaming service, the What-If show sounds VERY good.

There's a little…announcement I'd like to make: recently, some of my stories have felt a little…difficult to write. Not in a way like I didn't know what to write, more like it has been a little…much. Like it's feeling more like something I HAVE to do as opposed to something I WANT to do. I never want to get to a point as to where I feel tired/annoyed with writing any of my stories. In order to attempt to "fix" thus… I'm going go take a break from certain stories. To a degree. If you look on my profile, there are ideas for stories I intend to start soon. What may end up happening is that I may one two new stories while working on one "old" story…possibly to alternate every once in a while. I'm only gonna start one story that'll be long, whereas the other will be a short one. At this exact moment…I'd say no longer than twenty chapters. Now…I AM aware of how idiotic/hypocritical (to a degree) that this sounds of me, seeing as how I'm ALWAYS using the "I'm writing six stories" thing as an excuse for a poor updating schedule. But…I genuinely believe that this'll be beneficial to me in the long run. I'm NOT abandoning ANY story, I WILL finish any story that I start. Including this chapter, I'll probably work on getting two more (consistent) chapters out for each story before I start any new ones. However…there IS a chance that it may only be one chapter. We'll see, I'll probably play it by ear.

Oh, and I SHOULD mention that there will be MASSIVE Spider-Man: Far From Home spoilers in the beginning. Prepare.

...

...

We good? Alright then, good.

Anyway, hope you guys enjoy:)

Chapter Eighteen: Side Effects

I kept humming to myself as I read the book in hand (Heroes of Olympus, Book 5: Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan…just for anyone who was curious (1)), not really sure why I'm doing it.

It may have been some lingering excitement from the movie. This previous weekend, Lincoln went to go see the next installment in the (AMAZING!) MCU…Spider-Man: Far From Home!

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Not only are MCU films awesome to begin with (Marvel clearly knows what they're doing), but Spider-Man is one of my absolute favorite MCU characters (one of my favorite fictional characters of all time!).

Going into the film, I wasn't sure whether or not Mysterio could be trusted…guess the answer was no! And I can't believe that he just revealed Spider-Man's identity like that! What a jerk…and a sore loser!

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt a tug on the back of my shirt. I turned around to see Lisa standing behind me, that same emotionless look on her face.

"Greeting sister unit," she spoke (why does she always call me that?), adjusting her glasses slightly, "I wish to request your aid in an experiment of mine." Huh…that was odd. Usually, she would ask Lincoln to help her with…whatever kind of experiment she had to do. Failing that, she'd usually get someone like Lynn (who was tough enough to deal with whatever she did) or Leni (who was, let's be honest, "simple" and sweet enough to help Lisa with whatever) to help her.

Now, I'll admit…I was just a tad bit suspicious. Besides, Lisa has a history of using the rest of us as (for lack of a better term) lab rats for her tests, "What kind of experiment?"

"Relax dear sister, it is nothing that would cause any form of pain or discomfort. At least it shouldn't," I didn't catch that last part because she muttered. Before I could ask anything, she reached into her pocket and pulled out (what I believe to be) the experiment in question.

It was one of those vials that I always see on the desk in Lisa's room, cylinder-shaped. Within it was an orange liquid that almost looked like orange juice.

"What is it?" I asked, looking at the vial from all angles. I even tapped on the glass a few times, only to receive a swat on the hand in return.

"This," she held up the vial, "Is a specialized serum I've concocted. Experiment 147. Upon ingestion, it shall access the more "primal" part of the human brain in order to greatly enhance one's physical capabilities. I suppose you could say that this could be the first step "perfecting" humanity, combining the skills of ancient man with the intellect of modern man."

I raised an eyebrow, "'Perfect humanity'? You know Lisa, this is where a lot of things go wrong in comic books."

Lisa rolled her eyes, "Need I remind you Lena that this is not some fabricated story made up by someone on a computer, this is real life (2). I can assure you: nothing will go wrong. Hopefully," she muttered that last part again, but I frowned because I heard it this time.

I stared hesitantly at the vial in her hand, and took it with a shakey hand, "Are you sure it's safe?"

"I'm certain Lena, but you do not have to partake in the experiment if you truly do not want to." I stared at the vial in my hand, still feeling a bit hesitant about it. But…I wanted to help out my little sister (she always gets annoyed when I specify that), and she was pretty certain that everything would be okay (and Lisa is extremely smart).

"No, that's alright," I shook my head out a little bit, "If you feel confident about it…I'll do it," I stated with a nod, to which I received a nod back. I took in a deep breath and let it out before bringing the vial up to my lips and downing the entire serum in a single gulp.

Huh…tastes like apple juice, I thought to myself as the flavor registered in my mind.

"Are you feeling anything?" Lisa asked, a pen and clipboard in hand…which I'm certain she didn't have before I drank the serum.

I closed my eyes, bit down on my lower lip, and clenched my hands into fists as…

…nothing happened. I looked at Lisa and shook my head, "No, nothing."

Lisa sighed, "Alright…here's the plan: the effects of the serum might be slow acting, so I want you to keep me informed about the rest of today. If anything, and I mean anything, goes different than usual, let me know immediately. Understood?"

I nodded, giving her a thumbs up as I did so, "Understood." Lisa nodded one final time before she buried her nose back into her clipboard, heading back to her and Lily's room as she wrote stuff down and muttered to herself.

I watched her walk away, before shrugging my shoulders and heading back into my room. I've still got a book to read after all.

(The Next Day)

(3rd Person P.O.V)

Lily, the youngest member of the Loud family, was sitting in the living room…messing around with a small green ball that her parents had gotten for her last month. Her siblings were either around the house or out, her dad was out shopping, and her mom was washing dishes in the kitchen.

Lily giggled loudly as she smacked the ball and threw it around, bouncing it all over the tables, and chairs, and more within the living room.

As she smacked the ball around yet again, the ball went a little lower than before as it neared the couch. Before Lily could do anything, the green ball quickly slid underneath the couch. Lily frowned before she crawled her way over to the couch. She tried to reached underneath the couch, but her baby arms weren't long enough to reach the toy that was just barely out of her reach.

Lily pouted and whined as she continued to struggle to get her toy back…but to no avail. Then, she began to tear up as a small whine slipped from her lips.

"Hey Lily," the youngest Loud sibling turned her head and saw her sister Lena walking up to her, "What's wrong?" Lily removed her arm, stood up, and grabbed at the air, motioning to Lena that she wanted to be picked up. Lena wasted no time in scooping her baby sister into her arms, and Lily then pointed underneath the couch, "What happened?"

"Bah-Bah."

After a few moments of thoughts, realization soon dawned on her, "Ohhhhhhhh…did you lose something?" Lily simply nodded, "Is it under the couch?" Another nod, "Okay then, I'll get it fir you Lily," she set her baby sister down on the floor, close to the TV, "Just hang on." Lena knelt down and looked underneath the couch, spotting the bright green shape of Lily's ball pretty easily. She tried to reach for it, but (even though her arms were longer than Lily's) wasn't able to reach it. She was this close from barely grazing but with her fingers. "Dang it," Lena muttered, before placing her hand on the bottom of the couch, "If…I can just…lift it a bit…"

…GOT IT!" Lena exclaimed as she finally grabbed ahold of the ball. She let go of the couch and stood up, holding the ball in her hand as she had a proud smile on her face. "Here you go Lily," Her baby sister was clapping and laughing loudly, which brought a smile to her face as she scooped Lily up into her arms and walked away with her in hand.

Had Lena been able to understand Lily's thoughts and feelings however, she would have known that the fifteen month old infant was not clapping because she got her ball back. But rather…clapping in amazement/amusement that her big sister was able to lift up the couch with only one hand.

And had Lily been paying attention…she would have noticed the outline of an orange triangle glow dully on the side of Lena's neck before quickly fading away.

(The Next Day)

On this Saturday afternoon, the entire Loud family had gathered together for lunch. Rita and all of the kids were in the dining room, while Lynn Sr. was putting the finishing touches on the food.

"Alrighty Louds!" Everyone turned to the kitchen at the sound of their father/husband's voice rang out. He stepped out of the kitchen, two plates in his hands…one with burgers and one with hot dogs. He also wore a chief's hat and an apron, "Let's eat!"

Barely two seconds after he'd set the plates down, nearly all of the kids attacked the food with the ferocity of a pack of starving wolves.

There was however…one thing that took pretty much everybody off guard. That thing…was the fact that Lena, sweet and quiet Lena, had packed more on her plate than anyone expected. Three burgers and four hot dogs, which was even more than Lynn (the "famous" heavy eater of the Loud family). This some fact had all of Lena's siblings and both of her parents completely jaw dropped, and that shock only increased as they saw Lena all but dig into her food like a feral creature.

Luna was the first to break this awkward silence/stunned silence, "Uh…Lena?"

Lena looked up from her plate, bread hanging from her mouth, "Yeah?"

"Uh…are you feeling okay?"

Lena swallowed her food, "Yeah, why?"

"Hungry?" Luan tried to joke, but even she couldn't keep her shock and confusion out of her voice. A nod was the only response that she got before Lena immediately went back to scarfing down her food.

While the rest of the family eventually went back to their food (still a bit confused), Lisa simply stared at her sister with inquisitive look in her eyes. Her eyes narrowed in suspicion as she rubbed her chin, discreetly taking out a notepad and a pencil outside of the view of her family.

Then…she began writing notes.

Unbeknownst to anyone, however, the triangle outline on Lena's neck glowed again…this time, a little brighter than before.

(The Next Day)

All of the kids were relaxing in the backyard. Lori was relaxing in a chair while talking to (no surprise) her boyfriend, Bobby Santiago, Leni was playing with Lily, Luna was rocking in her guitar, Luan was walking around telling jokes, Lynn was throwing her baseball against the trunk of the guard's tree, Lucy was sitting under said tree to stay out of the sunshine, Lana was playing in the mud with Charles, Lola was driving around in her toy truck, Lincoln and Lena were both reading one of the white-haired boy's comic books, and Lisa was writing on her notepad, stealing a glance at Lena about every…ten seconds.

After about the two hundredth time of throwing the ball against the tree, Lynn caught it and turned to her siblings. "Alright boy and girls, let's make things a little interesting…who wants to wrestle?!"

"Literally…not on your life," Lori replied with a glare, "Oh, not you Boo-Boo Bear-."

"Uh…I'm good," Lincoln spoke with a bit of wide eyes.

"Don't even think about it, you oaf," Lola snarled.

Lynn sighed loudly, "Come on you guys! It'll be fun!"

"I believe that you do not share the same definition of "fun" as the rest of us do," Lisa spoke, not even looking up from her notepad.

Lynn rolled her eyes…before said eyes gazed onto Lena, to which a smirk formed, "How about you Lena?"

Lena looked up from the colorful panels, "What?"

"Come on…a little wrestling with your big sis. Show me your moves, shortstack," she held her fists up in a playful manner.

Lena's eyes widened a bit, much like how her brother's did mere moments ago, "I-I'm good Lynn, thank you though."

That didn't stop her sporty sister from advancing, "Come on kid, real quick. Show me what you've got."

"Lynn," Lori spoke in a warning tone, actually taking her eyes off of her phone to glare at Lynn. Some of the others were a little hesitant and/or annoyed as well. Everyone knew that Lena was a bit more…fragile than most of them (physically and mentally).

Lena opened to mouth to reply…before immediately bolting away from the thirteen year old (at speeds that surprised even her). Lynn's eyes widened in shock, "What? Lena!" She quickly chased after her, to the shock of the others.

"LYNN!" They all quickly chased after her, more then a little upset. But when they got to the front of the house…they found Lynn standing, scratching her head and Lena nowhere to be seen.

"Lynn!" Lori stomped up to the tomboy jock, hands on her hips and a glare on her face, "Where is Lena?"

"I have no idea! I turned to the front yard…and she was just gone."

Just then, the (near) silence of the surrounding area allowed for them all to hear a "DING" sound. "That's me," Lincoln as he pulled out his phone, "Guys…it's Lena. She said that she's fine…but will be staying in her "undisclosed location" for a while. Gee…I wonder why…". All of them glared at Lynn, who chuckled sheepishly and rubbed the back of her head in response.

What not of them saw, however…was that Lena's "undisclosed location" meant the roof. The five year old girl had quickly climbed along the house and onto the roof…all in barely seven seconds. Lena sighed in relief, "That was a close one."

Just then…the triangle outline on her neck glowed to an even brighter (its brightest) degree. Lena frowned and scratched the side of her neck, suddenly feeling her neck growing itchy and (oddly) warmer.

(Later On That Night)

A quarter till midnight, all inhabitants of the (ironically named) Loud House were fast asleep. All of them…except one that is (partially at least).

Lena was tossing and turning in her bed, frustratingly trying to will herself to sleep…but completely failing. Her eyes shot open, groaning in an annoyed manner as she sat up. Lena sighed, got out of bed, and began making her way (rather sluggishly) towards the bathroom.

Lena turned on the light as she reached the bathroom (flinching from the sudden source of light), and walked up to the sink (standing up on a stool that she and some of her other sisters needed to reach the sink). Keeping her eyes close, she turned on the sink and splashed some water onto her face to try and cool herself off.

But this didn't work. As a matter of fact, she seemed even warmer. Lena growled (actually growled) in irritation as she furiously scratched at the same side of her neck that was itchy earlier.

"OW!" Both of Lena's hands shot to that one spot as it suddenly burned like a lit fire. What she didn't see was that the triangle on her neck was now fully glowing bright orange from before, no longer being a mere outline. Lena wiped sweat from her forehead, suddenly feeling really…tired. And sweaty, "Why is it so hot in here?" She pulled at the collar of her nightshirt, but didn't feel herself getting any cooler/better.

Lena then began to groan as she felt a MASSIVE headache coming on, it felt like an elephant was stomping on her skull. She suddenly slipped off of the steps, hitting the floor but barely showing any signs of care due to the headache she had. She held her head in both hands, rolling around on the floor as she groaned and moaned in pain.

After about ten seconds of this, Lena slowly sat up onto her knees. Her hands slowly lowered from her head, but they were shaking violently (almost vibrating like the Flash's).

Unbeknownst to Lena, all clocks in the house simultaneously struck midnight.

Just then…her nails elongated into claws. As she threw her head back and howled in pain, her teeth sharpened into razor sharp fangs. Lena fell back onto the floor, violently shaking and twitching as she continued to yell. The veins around her body became more visible as her body mass began to grow. She turned onto her stomach as her clothes began to tear from her increased mass. As this happened, dark brown hair (the same color as her own hair) began sprouting across her entire body.

She continued to yell (it growing deeper and more vicious, seeming more and more like a roar as time went on) as she grew in size, fur now covering most of her body and continuing to cover the rest. Her mouth slowly turned into a snout as a long, monkey-like tail shot forth from her backside.

Eventually…the yelling/roaring stopped all together. Now…all that was left was deep, heavy panting.

The being that was once Lena slowly stood up, her eyes closed. She now stood no less than ten foot tall and was even larger and more muscular than a gorilla. Her thin tail flailed slowly behind her, almost as if blowing in the wind. Her fingers twitched slightest as she growled softly.

Suddenly…her eyes shot open, revealing pure white, pupil less eyes underneath her eyelids. She growled louder as she looked around at her surroundings, finding herself a little confused by the…whiteness of her current area. She turned to a window, and saw the night sky on the other side of it.

She didn't see the mirror however, and simply saw an opening that lead to outside. Moving surprisingly quickly for one of her size, she leapt towards the window and smashed her way through both it and the further wall that imprisoned her.

She landed on the ground with a loud "THUMP!", causing the ground underneath her to crack and multiple car alarms to go off. Lena paid them no mind as she began sniffing around in the cool night air.

Then…she caught whiff of something. Growling slightly (opening her mouth just a bit), she began running down the street at superhuman speeds…just as a few people began looking outside. The only thing that a small few of them were able to detect was a large, fast moving dark figure speeding through the night.

[+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+]

Deep within the woods, a lone deer calmly walked through the night. He stopped after a few moments and began eating the grass at his feet. After a few moments however, the deer's ears moved and he suddenly looked up. He turned around behind him and began stomping at the ground underneath his hooves as he simply stared into the darkness of the woods behind him.

The deer simply stared before him, a sense of dread rolling over him. As he stared into the darkness before him (bobbing his head a bit)…he saw two pupil less, dead eyes glaring at him through the foliage. Eyes that seemed to absorb all of the moonlight around him, causing them to glow in the darkness of the night.

The deer turned around and bolted away as fast as he could…just as his stalker sped off after him. The deer bolted as fast as his legs and hooves could carry him, but (little did he know) the attacker was hot on his tail.

The creature sped through the wilderness at inhuman speeds, effortlessly keeping up with her prey and avoiding any obstacles in her path…almost as if she had a form of sixth sense. She glared determinedly at the deer as she ran, quickly catching up with him with each passing moment.

Suddenly…she leapt into the air with a mighty roar, baring her fangs and claws at the creature as it ran. Just as he was about to turn another corner, a massive weight collided with his back and sharp dagger-like objects dug into his neck.

The two creatures rolled and flew forward along the ground violently, coming to a…sort of stop as their bodies went flying off of a cliff, the deer yelling all of the way down. The noise was replaced by a loud "THUMPING!" sound, before everything stopped.

As it was all silent…eventually, the only sounds that could be heard was the sound of ripping and tearing…and eating.

(Five Hours Later)

As the sun came up over the horizon, allowing more light to shine throughout the town, a lone figure was maneuvering through her surroundings. She moved slower than she had before, both full and tired after many hours of hunting. She'd caught multiple deer, an entire pack of wolves, and even a grizzly bear.

It was all good, because she was STARVING when she "woke up". But it was a double-edged sword, as she had been exerting herself for five hours straight. Plus, none of her "prey" were pushovers and she did NOT emerge unscathed (the cuts that littered her body were enough proof of that).

Following her sense of smell, she slowly made her way back to her den where the rest of her clan slept. She didn't know why they didn't participate in the hunt, but that wasn't her problem. If they wanted to hunt by themselves, you'll hear no complaints from her.

More meat for her anyway.

She climbed her way up the cliff and crawled into one of the openings (which she ended up breaking a bit due to her size). Stepping around two of her packmates (whom she nuzzled affectionately a bit, not seeing how they smiled at the action), she maneuvered her way to her spot of their den and all but collapsed onto the ground (not noticing that her entire body was beginning to glow the same orange color as the triangle on her neck).

An hour and a half later, both of the twins woke up simultaneously…stretching and yawning as they did so (neither of them seeming to be aware of how in sync they were).

"EW!"

Lana quickly turned to face her twin, "Lola, what're yelling for?!"

"Why is Lena sleeping naked?!" The tomboy twin turned and did in fact see her younger sister lying (barely) underneath the covers.

"Aw, why didn't I think of that?!"

"You're both disgusting!"

Both twins heard a faint sound and turned to see the subject of their conversation sitting from her bed, trying to rub the sleep from her eyes. She turned, and saw her roommates just…staring at her. Lola in disgust, and Lana…in (apparent) jealously. "Hey guys, what's up?" Lola just shivered in disgust, while Lana turned and muttered, "Smart girl".

Lena titled her head at the weird behavior (weirder than normal, she should say) before suddenly looking to the side. She felt…weird. After a few moments, her eyes widened in shock and horror. Very slowly, she grabbed ahold of the blanket and quickly looked underneath.

Lena's head shot back from underneath the covers, her entire face burning a dark red. "Lana-."

"Yeah Lena?"

"Can you hand me some clothes please?" Lana struggled to keep her chuckling to herself (something that caused Lena's blush to increase) as she walked over to the room's drawer and pulled out some underwear, shorts, and a shirt for her younger sister. "Thank you," Lena said as she quickly took the clothes from Lana and got underneath the covers, maneuvering around quickly to get herself dressed.

The fact that she could still hear Lana laughing didn't help matters in the slightest.

(Lena's P.O.V)

After the…embarrassment of this morning (that we shall NEVER speak of again), I quickly walked my way down the stairs with the twins for breakfast.

As soon as we walked into the dining room and greeted our siblings, "OH, DANG IT!" We all ran to the stairs (some of us more so than others), and stared up to see Dad standing there…his hands on his head and a shocked/angry expression on his face. He then turned to us, "WHAT happened to the bathroom?! There's a GIANT hole in the wall!"

"Wasn't me." (Lincoln)

"Don't look at me, dudes." (Luna)

"Like, I didn't even go to the bathroom last night. Wait…did I?" (Leni)

"It was probably Lynn, with all of roughhousing," Lola accused our sporty sister.

"What? It was so not me!" Lynn yelled, "It was probably Lisa, with all of her…weird experiments."

"Impossible. The last time I was in the bathroom was at precisely 7:49 PM, a whole three hours and fifty-six minutes before the hole could have been made."

"Wait…how would you know when the hole was made? You didn't put some kind of camera in the bathroom, did you?" Lucy asked…a very valid question, actually.

"Nooooooooo," Lisa replied, but the creepy smile and the doubtful/nervous tone in her voice made me...not believe her. I swear, I will NEVER go in that bathroom again if she put cameras in there.

Lana stepped up, her toolbox (somehow) in hand, "Don't worry dad, I'll take care of this." As Lana went off to go fix the (apparent) hole in the bathroom with Dad, the rest of us (eventually) went back to our breakfast (after being talked to by Mom).

I wonder what happened to the bathroom, I couldn't help but think to myself as I scratched the side of my neck. I don't know why it's been bothering me all morning.

(3rd Person P.O.V)

(Later on that evening)

Lynn Sr. and Rita had gone out for their first date night in over two months, and had left Lori in charge of her younger siblings until they got home.

While the rest of her family slept. Lisa was still awake. She was searching through the notes she'd taken throughout the last few days, which detailed Lena's strange behavior recently. She had started getting…curious by Lena's sudden new appetite, but her (suddenly gained) athleticism and evasion skills (outrunning Lynn fast enough to completely disappear from her sight was a virtual impossible task to accomplish, especially without doing something to distract and/or blind her) and the nee hole in the bathroom wall had all but confirmed Lisa's suspicions: the effects of her serum had taken ahold of her elder sister.

"Why wouldn't she say anything though?:?" Lisa spoke to herself in frustration, "I told her to let me know the instant she sees something unusual happen. What possible reason could she have to keep it a secret?" As Lisa frantically searched her (powerful) mind for an answer to her question…she heard the sound of a door opening. And, judging on its noise proximity… it was Lena and the twins'.

Moving up and opening her own door, she saw Lena (sluggishly) making her way to the bathroom. "Lena," Lisa called after her sister as she quickly moved after her.

"Oh…hey Lisa," Lena waved tiredly with a smile that seemed forced. She looked sweaty and her hands were trembling just a bit. These factors did not go unnoticed by Lisa.

"You don't seem well," she stated.

"I am a little warm…and my neck does itch. Like…a lot. But I'll be fine, I'm just gonna go to the bathroom to wash up a little bit." She tried to sound calm and fine, but Lisa wasn't buying it one bit.

"Lena…why did you not inform me that the serum had taken effect?"

"Serum?" Lena questioned, "You mean…that orange, apple juice-tasting thing I drunk a while back? What do you mean? Whatever "effects" that serum was supposed to have…they didn't happen yet."

Lisa's eyes narrowed, "Actually, dear sister…I believe they did."

Despite her feeling…less than 100%, Lena titled her head in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"It's the only possible explanation for your recent behavior. Unnaturally enhanced physical capabilities, surprising appetite, all of which I predicted would be primary side effects of the serum."

Lena simply stared at her sister for a few seconds, before commenting, "I'm confused."

Lisa sighed and rubbed her eyes underneath her glasses, before quickly dropping into a inquisitive expression, "It would seem that my experiment had…unforeseen consequences. It's having an effect on your mind and body…yet you remember nothing." As Lisa continued to think to herself, she noticed her sister beginning to sway back and forth, a look of clear exhaustion on her face, "Lena…are you alright?" Lena continued to groan before falling to her knees, "Lena!" Lisa dropped all air of calmness and professionalism as she quickly went down to examine her sister…only to find her neck…glowing? "What the-?"

Suddenly, Lena's arm shot out and threw Lisa against the wall. The young genius grunted in shock and in pain (once her back collided with the wall), her glasses falling right off of her face. Even though she was temporarily robbed of her ability to see (clearly anyway), she could still hear the groaning sounds of pain that emerged from her elder sister. She scrambled to find her glasses, grabbing ahold of them just as she began to hear ripping and tearing sounds.

When she finally put her glasses back on, she was greeted with a sight that shook her to her very core. Lena's form was growing, tearing through her pajamas. Lisa watched on, in shock and horror, as Lena continued to grow larger and larger, becoming more monstrous as she did so.

Upon completion of her transformation, "Lena" opened her (now pupil less) eyes and turned her gaze directly to Lisa. For the first time in short life…Lisa was frozen in fear as the hulking beast that was her sister got on all fours and stepped closer to her, their faces only being inches apart.

The creature growled softly as she began sniffing Lisa, causing the young genius to cover her eyes and await her inevitable demise at the hands (or paws?) of her own sister (who could probably swallow her whole).

I should have known that my own genius would eventually lead to my downfall, Lisa thought to herself as she prepared for the worse.

Only, it never came. Instead, she felt Lena's head nuzzle against her own. Looking up, she saw the creature in front of her now having a much calmer (almost happy) expression on her face.

Just as Lisa was about to react, "AHHHHHHHHHHH! MONSTER!" Both of them turned to see Leni standing outside of her door, screaming her pretty pink lungs out while in her sleepwear. The sixteen year old reached into her room and grabbed the closest thing to throw at the "monster".

Unfortunately…the "closest thing" happened to be a lamp.

Lena howled in pain as the lamp collided with (and broke against) her face. She growled in fury as blood from her cheek dripped onto the floor. She turned to glare at Leni that seemed to contain a hybrid emotion of anger…and betrayal.

Leni, on the other hand, was frozen in terror when the creature's pupil less eyes locked onto her own. Her shrieking stopped, completely unable to move or make a sound when faced with the furious, pupil less eyes (that seemed to glow in the night) of the creature.

Lena snarled for a few more seconds before turning to the stairs and all but leaping down them and out the door. She crashed through the door, tearing it and large chunk of the wall off, and sped away into the night.

At that moment, all of the other Loud siblings all but burst out of their rooms. "What the hell was that?!" Lynn practically screamed.

"T-There was a m-monster!" Leni all but cried as she hugged/grabbed onto Lori.

"MONSTER?!" Lana and Lola grabbed onto each other, terrified expressions on their faces.

"No…there wasn't," they all turned to Lisa, who was staring at the floor with a shocked expression on her face, "There wasn't any monster."

"Then, what happened?" Luan asked.

Lisa sighed, "It's…a long story."

Lena winced a bit as she pulled the last bit of glass out of her face, dropping it to the ground along with the rest. She growled quietly and wiped the last bit of blood off of her face as the cuts on her face quickly healed.

She sat on top of a tall(ish) building, crouching slightly with a frown on her face. She simply…didn't understand why one of her own packmates just…attacked her like that. How could she not have recognized one of her own packmates and family?

A depressed expression appeared on Lena's face as she sat on the roof, being deeply saddened that one of her own packmates…a member of her own family…just attacked her like that.

"AHHHH!" Lena's ears perked up at the sound of a scream, "SOMEONE HELP US!" Lena walked herself over to the roof's edge and, with her enhanced eyesight combined with her night vision, was able to make out the source of the noise.

She saw two teenagers, a boy and a girl, being backed into an alleyway. Five people, three boys and two girls, were walking towards them. Quite menacingly, from Lena's point of view. Her eyes squinted as she quickly leaped over to another roof to figure things out.

[+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+]

"Hand over your wallet and her purse buddy, and everyone gets to go home happy. And, more importantly, unharmed," one of the guys commented, smacking a baseball bat in the palm of his hand. His companions behind him chuckled.

The boy held the girl (who was trembling) behind him, glaring at the five jerks that stood in front of him. "I believe," one of the girls (an obvious tomboy) stepped forward, taking a switchblade from her pocket, "My friend just gave you both some directions." Both of the teenagers remained there, continuing to glare and tremble (the boy and girl respectively).

The five thugs shared a look…and then a laugh before they began to step menacingly towards their "prey". The girl's back collided with the wall, and the boy did everything he could to keep himself in-between her and them. He put his fists up, fully prepared to throw himself at them if need be.

The thugs simply stared at him in a bit of shock…before they all burst out laughing. They were laughing so hard in fact, that not a single one of them heard the loud "THUMP!" sound from behind them. The two teenagers didn't just hear the "THUMP!" sound…they saw the thing that made that noise.

As the thugs' laughing began to grow quieter however, they became aware of the teens' expressions. "What are you two gawking at?" One of the guys yelled, before he suddenly heard a low growling. They all did.

Turning around slowly, the expressions of all five of them turned into one of shock and horror as they came face-to-face with a creature straight out of a horror movie. It towered over all of them, its fangs and claws being like knives. A thin tail swayed behind it in the wind before in slammed down onto the ground, cracking it easily. Its two, pupil less white eyes seemed to consume all light and glow in the darkness of the night. The only sound it made was it low, furious growling.

All was silent...until-.

"N-Nice costume dumbass, but it's not H-Halloween!" The guy with a bat in hand yelled out in an attempt to be unintimidated, but the fear in his eyes and the trembling of his hands told another story. "G-Get out of here weirdo!" But the beast just stood there…growling. "Fine! Have it your way!" With a roar of his own, he ran towards the beast swinging a bat. The beast didn't move as the bat hit its neck…

…and did absolutely NOTHING. The bat broke against its neck…and the beast didn't. Even. Flinch. The man looked at his broken bat in shock, before his eyes were filled with horror as he met the pure, soulless eyes of the beast.

With speed shocking for a creature of its size, it grabbed him by his shirt and slammed him into the ground. With the man (already) barely conscious, the beast leaned down and let loose a mighty roar into his face. One that would make Godzilla himself tremble in terror.

When the roar was finished, the beast slowly lifted its head to glare at the other four…all of whom were now visibly (or…visibly to the enhanced eyesight if the beast) trembling in fear.

Suddenly, one of the guys yelled and ran forward…his crowbar at the ready. The other three were quick to follow, attempting to overwhelm it. The beast simply backhanded the one with the crowbar into the wall, immediately knocking him unconscious. It grabbed another by the neck and slammed her into the ground, harder then before. Another female tried to stab the beast with her switchblade, but it grabbed her by her arm and (surprisingly) quickly head-butted her…knocking her unconscious, and causing her to go limp in its arm. It let her fall to the ground as it turned to glare at the final man that stood in its path.

This time…he was visibly shaking and sweating, "S-Stay back!" The beast growled as it took a step forward, the two teens simply staring with widened eyes (both being wise enough to stay away from a creature of such a size). The man reached into his jacket, fumbling with something in there, "GET AWAY!" When the beast didn't stop moving, the man pulled something out of his jacket and…

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

The beast flinched backwards as six bullets collided with its body from the gun in the man's hand. Soon, the bullets ran out. When they did, the man sighed in relief and lowered his weapon.

Just as he successfully caught his breath, he heard a low growling sound that terrified him to his bones. When he looked up, he saw blood running down the body and arms of the creature. The beast simply glared at him as the bullets were pushed out of its body, the wounds healing mere moments later. The gun violently trembled in the man's hand, his terror levels nearly reaching their levels.

Quicker then anyone can react, the beast charged forward, grabbed the man by his face, and slammed him into the wall…right next to the two (still scared) teens. The girl screamed and the man (very visibly) flinched, desperately trying to move the both of them far away from this creature. The beast left go of the man's face, causing him to slump to the ground in an unconscious state.

Then…it turned its gaze to the two teens. By this point, the girl couldn't take it as a few tears began to fall from her eyes. The guy was scared out of his wits too, seemingly trying to physically push the two of them into the wall itself.

The beast got on all fours and began crawling over to the two of them, sniffing them both a little bit. Then…it stopped. Both teens hesitantly looked to the creature, who now towered over the both of them by standing on its legs. Go…home," the creature (to the complete shock of the teenagers) spoke in a deep and raspy voice, "Stay…safe." And then, the creature turned around and leaped into the air. It landed on the roof of a nearby building, and ran away into the darkness…and out of their sight.

For a few moments, both of the teens were struck into stunned silence. "Come on," the boy grabbed ahold of his girlfriend's wrist, "We need to get out of here." The girl was still in a bit of a stunned silence as her boyfriend pulled her away, taking out his phone and calling the police to arrest the (unconscious) muggers.

While he was focused on the phone, she looked up to where the creature had ran away to. Whoever you are, she thought to herself, Thank you.

(The Next Day)

(Lena's P.O.V)

The light felt unbearable as I tried to open my eyes. "Why are you so bright, sun?" I complained, knowing that I'd get no response. I lifted my head up from my pillow, turning…and noticing that my roommates were not currently in the room. "Weird," I commented as I lifted myself up from bed…only to blush like crazy when I realized that I was completely naked. Again! What the heck?!

After a quick moment to make sure that no one was coming, I ran to my dresser and pulled out my fuchsia shirt and shorts (and some underwear, obviously). Upon completion, I was fiddling with my bow as I walked towards the door. I opened it…

…and was caught completely off-guard by the silence. Usually, it'd be pure chaos in this house. Especially around this time. "Again, weird."

Just as I was about to head downstairs, I heard a door open. Turning to the source of the noise, I saw Lincoln coming out of…Lori and Leni's room? Now that was really weird, seeing as how Lori hardly let's anyone but Leni in their shared room (only in emergencies, or our sibling meetings). "Guys, she's awake," Lincoln out into the room before turning back to face me, "Lena…can we talk to you for a moment?"

"Uh…sure," still confused, I walked over to my eldest sisters' room. When I stepped inside, I felt self-conscious as all eyes turned to me. They all seemed to look at me with varying degrees of concern and worry, all except for Lisa (who's primary emotion seemed to be…guilt?). "What happened?" I asked, my eyes drifting to the ground.

Lisa sighed, "It's…a long story. Sit down Lena, I have something you'll want to see." With a hesitant look in my eyes, I took a seat on the floor as Lisa placed a laptop in front of me. With a sigh, she pressed a button…and a video began.

It was…me. I saw myself in the bathroom a few days ago. I was moaning and tilting like I remember doing, but then I saw…my neck glowing? As if that wasn't weird/questioning enough, I heard myself screaming and fell down and rolled/twisted all over the floor.

Then…to my complete and utter shock, I saw myself actually beginning to grow and stretch out of my clothing. Within moments, I saw a hulking, furry creature standing where I once stood. The video then cut out, to show me and Lisa talking in the hallway just last night. If my eyes were the size of dinner plates at seeing myself (once again) mutate into some…hulking beast, they were the size of flat-screen TVs when I actually hit Lisa! That was when Leni came out, screaming her lungs out, and threw a lamp at me…not long before I literally jumped away! Then…the video cut off.

My eyes were wide and my hands were trembling, "This is is a joke, right?" I turned to Lisa, "This has to be a joke, right?"

"I'm afraid not Lena," she replied, a (rare) apologetic look on her face.

"Yeah, you know Lisa doesn't joke," Luan said with a small chuckle, trying (and failing) to make light of the situation.

"I'm…a monster?" My voice was barely above a whisper, wiping a few tears from my eyes.

"No!" Lori quickly yelled out, running over and pulling me into a tight hug. I leaned into her, feeling a few more tears fall from my eyes as the dams just…burst. "You are NOT a monster!"

"Lori's right, dude," Luna spoke as she also pulled me into a hug.

We heard Lisa sigh, "It's all my fault. I should have studied my serum even more intensely before asking you to test it," she put a hand on my shoulder, looking more emotional then she would on a typical basis, "Lena…you know that I would have never given it to you had I known of its effects, right?"

"I know Lisa," I replied, wiping my eyes a bit, giving her as strong/bright of a smile as I could muster up.

"But it's okay Lena," Lincoln put a hand on my shoulder, "Lisa can fix it…right?" All eyes (including my own) were now on our brainy sister.

"I can…theoretically speaking."

"What do you mean "theoretically speaking", Lisa?" Lincoln asked with an inquisitive gaze.

"Look, it's not a simple process to reverse. I spent weeks researching and concocting that serum, and there were still obvious mistakes! Do you people have any idea how difficult it'd be to make another serum, one that would require even more testing?!"

"Well you need to fix her Lisa! We can't just leave her like this!" Lynn yelled.

"Just because you want something to happen…doesn't mean that it's going to just…happen!" Lisa shot back.

"Well you have to do something!"

"Yelling isn't going to fix anything!"

"Enough!" Lori yelled, causing us all to flinch. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath in…and let it out before opening said eyes, "Lisa, we need you to fix…whatever your serum did to Lena. Can you do it?"

Lisa and Lori stared into each other's eyes for a moment before the former sighed, "I'll do what I can. That is as much as I can promise right now."

"I know you'll be fine Lisa," I spoke, my eyes finally dry (or…as dry as they're gonna get) as I gave her a bright smile, "I have faith in you."

Despite her best efforts to keep it down, I saw a small smile form on Lisa's face, "I appreciate that Lena."

(Later on that day, 11:50 pm)

It has been a…long day. Lisa told us all to go our own ways, and leave her alone so she can develop a cure. So…she's effectively been locked in her and Lily's room all day, with our youngest sister with us the whole time.

I tried to read one of my books, or maybe even take a nap…buuuuuuut it's (understandably) kinda difficult to relax throughout the day when you know that you'll mutate into a hulking abomination at midnight (why is it always midnight? (3)).

My siblings (bless their hearts) did try to make things better/easier for me throughout the day, but, just like their attempts to help after I broke my leg practicing ballet (4), they and I have very different definitions of the word "helping".

From Luan's comedy routine to Lola's tea parties, and Luna's music to Lana's wrestling (something I honestly expected from Lynn), it was…exhausting, if I'm being honest.

One benefit, though, was that all of my siblings' (excluding Lisa)…antics helped distract me throughout the day. The entire day had slipped away before I even realized it, and it was already darn near midnight before I even knew what had happened.

Now…we were all in Lisa and Lily's room, waiting as Lisa worked on the antidote. I was sitting on Lisa's bed, my knees to my chest and Leni's hand on my shoulder. Despite my best efforts to ignore it, my neck was feeling warmer…and itchy.

"Come on Lisa, it's almost midnight dude!" Luna all but yelled.

"I'm trying!"

"Well you need to try faster!" Lynn got in.

"I can't work under these conditions!" As everyone kept yelling at each other, my vision was getting fuzzy as I could feel a headache coming on.

(3rd Person P.O.V)

"Guys," all eyes turned to Lena, "I don't…I don't feel so good (5)."

Leni hugged her little sister, "It's gonna be alright Lena."

"Uh Leni…uh given what we've seen and what Lisa has told us, you might not wanna do that right now," Lincoln informed, as he saw his sister began to tremble.

"Don't be ridiculous Linky. It doesn't matter what Lena may turn into, she's still our sister. Maybe all she needs right now is some love and affection, and that will cure her."

"That's not how genetic alteration works Leni," Lisa commented without even looking up from her (frantic) work.

"Like…how would you know that?" Lisa was so focused and concentrated on her work that she didn't even think to correct her.

Just then, Lena let out a yell as she threw herself onto the ground. Everyone was frozen in shock as she trembled, and flinched, and shook as growls of pain(?) slipped through. Lynn ran up and put a hand on the young girl's shoulder, "Come on Len, it's alright. We can get through this." As Lena stood up and yelled/roared, she backhanded Lynn across the face…which sent her crashing into the wall.

The shock that coursed through their systems from seeing Lynn be sent flying was overpowered as they all watched on (the primary emotion being horror) as Lena ripped through her clothes, fur sprouting up as her body mass continued to grow. A tail sprout from her backside as her claws dug into the floor, throwing her head back and revealing the teeth that had sharpened into fangs.

All of them had seen Lena's transformation through Lisa's security cameras (with the exception of Lisa herself). But seeing it in person? Completely different story.

The creature that was once their sister shot its eyes open, the pure whiteness of them freezing all of them in their place. The creature looked up with a snarl, locking eyes with each and every member of the family before bending its legs and arms and shooting clean through the roof. If anyone were gazing at the moon in that particular moment, they would have seen the silhouette of a monster against the pale moon.

The creature was in the air for a few moments before it fell back down to Earth, landing on its feet and creating a miniature earthquake. As car alarms went and lights in houses turned on, the creature sped away into the night (quicker than any could track).

"LENA!" Leni and the twins cried out through the window, but their sister was already gone.

"Lisa…if you do not have that cure ready, I will literally turn you into a human pretzel!" Lori threatened, an expression of fury on her face.

"Keep your proverbial pants on," Lisa shot back without even looking up. She reached into her pocket, and pulled out a tablet sized dark grey device. She began pressing buttons on it, "As a percussion in case side effects occur while we were apart, I took the liberty of installing a tracking chip in Lena. For safety reasons," she added, noticing everyone else's weary glances.

"Tracking chip? You didn't put that in any of us, did you?" Lucy asked, none of them noticing how their necks were blinking green…the same as Lisa's machine. She pressed one of the buttons rapidly, and the blinking soon stopped. Lincoln then scratched his neck, feeling a strange itchy sensation coming over him.

"Nooooooooo," Lisa spoke with a suspicious look in her eyes, putting on a (clearly) forced smile.

"No time for questions!" Lana interrupted, We've gotta go find Lena!"

"She's right," Lisa agreed before tossing the device to Lincoln, "Lincoln, you lead us to Lena while I finish the antidote on the way."

Lori smiled, "Good idea, Loud family…MOVE OUT!"

[+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+]

(Later, in another part of the city)

Lena was ferociously digging through a dumpster, searching for something to eat.

Normally, she'd just go out hunting (primarily for deer, as they were the tastiest). But tonight, she felt…tired. Like…really tired. Although she pawed through her memories, she simply didn't understand why she was so tired.

Unfortunately, she didn't want to risk hunting. The chasing and sometimes fighting that hunting required demanded that her stamina and energy levels be at their peak. Even if she did have the energy to chase down and catch her prey, who's to say that she'll be able to land a finishing blow? Then she'd be even more tired, and would still be hungry.

Better safe than sorry, was the motto she was choosing to go by.

And so, she'd followed her nose and was searching for food within the concrete forest's walls, hoping she'd find something to satisfy her hunger. As she reached the bottom of the dumpster, she'd found the object that she'd smelled. She grabbed it with both hands, and pulled it up to her face.

It looked like one of the birds she'd see in the forest, a big one. Only…it'd seemed to be missing its skin, head, feathers, and feet. There were also patches of meat that had been taken, and it looked like it was turning green in a few places.

Without the slightest bit of hesitation, Lena dug her fangs into the bird and began to feast. It tasted…different compared to her meals from the past. But, at this point, she was glad to get any food to satisfy her hunger. Now she didn't have to turn her attention to the humans.

She found herself questioning way she never feasted on the prey already within the concrete forest, seeing as how they were no match for her skills (if the previous night was any indication). But…there was always this part of her mind that kept telling that she should never eat the humans. However, she noticed how that voice began to grow quieter as her hunger increased.

Now she didn't have to worry about it.

Just then...she smelled something. With a mouthful of rotten bird meat, she turned around…to see her packmates standing there, the smallest holding a…strange, sharp object in her hand.

[+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+]

(A Few Moments Earlier)

"Are we sure that this is where Lena is?" Lola asked, not exactly thrilled about having to walk down an alleyway.

Lincoln sighed, "For the tenth time Lola…yes! This is where Lisa's tracker says she's at," he held up the device for all to see. Lola just groaned in response.

"Shhhh," Lynn spoke, standing right up to the wall, "I hear something," she yelled/whispered. The kids all followed her lead, and carefully peaked out from the wall.

And that…is where they saw her.

She was in front of a dumpster, trash scattered all around her as she devoured something in her hands (or…paws?).

"Okay," Lisa held a syringe in her hand, filled with blue liquid, "This is the antidote. Now we just have to inject Lena with it, and she'll revert back to her normal form." As Lena was about to take another bite from her "meal"…she suddenly stopped and sniffed the air. At that moment, her head spun towards the others…causing them to freeze.

"Well, there goes the element of surprise," Lori muttered, before stepping out from the wall, "Okay Lena…it's us. Your siblings. Your family. We only want to help you." Lena was growling at them, but it didn't seem very intense. Like she wasn't sure if she should be threatening or not.

Luna was next "It's gonna be alright dude, just trust us." The glare on Lena's face seemed to lessen in intensity.

"We love you Lena, and we only want what's best for you," Lincoln spoke softly, Lena's threatening appearance all but disappearing. "Lisa," he whispered, "The antidote." As Lisa (very slowly) pulled the syringe from behind her back, Lena's face suddenly darkened. She couldn't explain it, but every part of her being was screaming "DANGER!" when she saw it (6).

It was her instincts…and she always trusted her instincts.

Lena slammed a hand on the ground, causing her siblings to flinch (and fly in the air a few inches) as she let out a warning growl. The warning was clear: leave…or die.

"Lena," Lincoln held a hand up, "Calm down, we're trying to help you." She simply roared in response.

"I got this," Lynn said confidently as she took the syringe from Lisa's hand. Lisa immediately tried to take it back, but was effortlessly held back by a single hand.

"Lynn! Stop! You have no idea what-!"

Lynn (of course) didn't wait for her sister to finish, "CHARGE!" She ran towards her (mutated) sister, holding the syringe like a knife.

Now, years of working out and sports had made Lynn a strong and fast girl. But compared to Lena's current state? It was almost laughable.

Lena grabbed ahold of Lynn's torso, lifted her up and slammed her into the ground, causing the antidote to go fall out of her hand. Lena growled in her face before raising an arm into the air, baring her claws. Lynn's eyes widened in terror and she desperately struggled to free herself from Lena's grasp, but her grip was like iron.

"LYNN!" The kids cheered. Looking around, Lori noticed a wooden plank (about the length of Luan) lying on the wall.

Sorry about this Lena, Lori thought as she picked up the plank, remembering what Lisa her about Lena's insane durability in this state (estimated she could take a grenade to the face and get right back up). With a yell of her own, she ran forward and slammed the plank down onto Lena's head.

The plank broke, as Lena didn't even react. Then…she was silent, before slowly locking eyes with Lori. She nervously chuckled, holding the (now broken) plank behind her back. "Uh…sorry?"

Needless to say…Lena was NOT amused. She released Lynn and stood up, glaring at Lori the entire way. Then, she let loose a monstrous roar. One that literally swept Lori off of her feet.

It was at that moment…that Luna and Luan decided to come on in, each of them grabbing one of Lena's arms. Lynn, who had recovered, leapt into the air and wrapped her arms around Lena's (massive) neck. "Calm down dude! We're your family!" Luna yelled, as the three if them struggled to stay ahold on the thrashing beast.

Getting an idea, all of the others started doing the same. Lana and Lola each latched onto one of Lena's legs, Leni did the best she could to pull her sister into a hug (bless her heart), Lincoln and Lucy leapt up to grab onto Lena's shoulders, and Lori (picking herself up from the ground) grabbed ahold of Lena's thrashing tail, preventing it from whipping and/or grabbing at anyone.

"LISA!" Lori yelled out, "THE ANTIDOTE! HURRY!" Lena threw her arms outwards, throwing Luna and Luan to the walls. She then grabbed ahold of Leni and shoved her aside as her tail smacked Lori across the face, causing her to loosen her grip enough to where the tail was able to wrap around her waist and toss her away.

Lisa's eyes darted across the ground for the syringe, not taking long to find the light blue glow of the liquid within. She quickly ran to grab it as Lena grabbed ahold of both Lincoln and Lucy and threw them down. "LYNN! CATCH!" With all of the strength that she could muster up, Lisa threw the syringe towards her athletic sister. Fortunately…Lynn caught it, at the same time that Lena shook the twins from her legs.

Just as Lena's tail crept up to grab her…Lynn jammed the stringers into Lena's neck. Her sister's roar of pain was enough of a distraction for Lynn to inject the antidote into her system. Lena's howls grew even louder as she reached behind her, grabbed Lynn, and (for the second time that night) slammed into the ground.

As Lena glared murderously and readied her claws to take Lynn's head off…she suddenly froze. She began making these coughing/hacking sounds as she held onto her own throat, stepping backwards as she did so. The rest of the Loud siblings watched with baited breath as Lena punched the ground in pain/rage, continuing to roar.

Just then…they saw her tail began to shrink until it had disappeared back into her body completely. Her body began to shrink as the fur on her body began to disappear. Her fair skin became visible underneath as her fangs and claws reduced back to her normal teeth and nails. She threw her head back and let out one final roar (which gradually decreased in more of a scream) as the last remnants of fur disappeared from her body. Lena stood there for a moment, before immediately falling forward.

Leni was quick, however, catching her little sister and wasting no time in (protectively) wrapping her arms around her. The rest of her siblings immediately crowded her unconscious form. "Is she okay?" Lola asked, her concern for her little sister showing. Just then, Lena turned a bit in Leni's arms.

"She'll be okay," Lisa sighed, "I'll run some tests tomorrow to be certain, but I'm confident in my work. Lena is normal, and will make a full recovery." The others all cheered and hugged Lena in Leni's arms.

Then, Lori yawned, "Come on guys, it's late. Let's get her home. There's a blanket to hold her in Vanzilla." No one objected to that. Everyone climbed into the van, Leni grabbing ahold of the blanket in question and wrapping it tightly around Lena. She then held her little sister up to her chest with a content smile on her face, everyone knowing that she had no intention of letting go.

It had been a long day, and an even longer week. So it was no problems that most of the kids were asleep within minutes. The only ones left awake were Lori and Leni, who rode in comfortable silence.

With most of the kids asleep and the only awake ones' attention focused elsewhere, nobody noticed the dim orange triangle outline on Lena's neck. It was there only for a split second before disappearing again.

(Author's Note: Annnnnnnnnd scene!

(1): In case you haven't realized, I'm enjoying giving Lena some of my interests. I'm not trying to make her like me, but…I guess it gives me a better understanding of her:)

(2): Ironic, isn't it?;)

(3): Isn't that right?

(4): CONTINUITY CALLBACK!:)

(5): Now that I know what happens in Endgame, I can joke about what happened in Infinity War to Spider-Man.

(6): This was Lena's instincts, telling her that the serum was dangerous (in that it would "destroy" her, in a sense).

Wow…talk about a wild way to start Season Two. Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and Alvin and the Chipmunks meet the Wolfman were both big inspirations for this.

The whole "mugger" scene was originally going to be much darker. The "muggers" in question were actually going to be attempted rapists, and Lena was going to kill them upon their confrontation. But I felt that'd be a little…much, especially seeing as how Lena (despite having would have been a hulking, mammalian monster at the time) would be five years old. So I changed it up, the criminals crime being MUCH less horrible so Lena can just take them down (non-lethally of course).

What's up with that ending? An I trying to set up the return of Lena's "monster transformation"? The answer is yes…yes I am. Why else would I put it in there? As to why and HOW the transformation wasn't eliminated…it took Lisa weeks to perfect her serum to the point where she was confident in its capabilities, and she STILL messed up. Having only a day to create another serum to negate the first serum, ABD considering the rush that she was in? She could only create a temporary version. For you anime fans, think of the difference between the two serums like the difference between the Super Saiyan and False Super Saiyan transformations. What Lisa used on Lena wasn't an antidote, but rather a FALSE antidote. It could neutralize Lena's mutated DNA, but it couldn't outright destroy it.

Now…Lena's mutation isn't going to be a common plot point of every chapter. It won't be in the next chapter, or the one after that…or the one after that. It's not something that needs to be at the forefront of your mind, but rather something to know so that you won't be COMETELY shocked when the transformation (inevitably) returns.

I'll also being accepting ideas for future chapters. And yes, I'm considering doing ACTUAL Loud House episodes in the future. I will, it's just that it won't be EVERY actual episode. Just some of them.

For those who heard...Cameron Boyce passed away recently. That is TRULY a tragedy. I've been watching him in shows since I was young. And he was too young pass from this world. I recently saw Descendants 3 (a great movie by the way), one of his final performances. They had memorials/honorable mentions to him at the beginning and end of the film...and my heart was genuinely hurting. He's in a better place now. Rest in peace Cameron Boyce, you will be missed.

Review, favorite, follow, and I'll see you guys next time:)
