Cody looked at more of these monstrous plants at the garden, and he was always a little nervous since these plants looked very demonic and different than Earth's venus flytraps. Unlike the flytraps, these plants had actual teeth. He felt like a lone water buffalo calf in the middle of India or Bangladesh without his parents, just waiting for a tiger to pop out of the brush to kill and eat him, or an eland or kudu or wildebeest calf in the middle of Tanzania or Uganda just waiting to be pounced by a lion. However, as intimidating as these plants were, Octavia was there to make him more relaxed and calm while being near them. "So these are your dad's?" Cody asked.

Octavia nodded her head three times, and answered him: "Yep. My dad has quite an affinity for plants, and he has taken care of them ever since he was an owlette."

"Why does he have these plants?"

"I honestly have no idea. My dad is quite an eccentric man."

"What's eccentric again?"

"It means like someone behaves in a weird behavior that any people wouldn't normally do." Octavia replied. "For example... Ozzy Osbourne is eccentric since he used to bite the heads off rubber bats to get reactions out of audiences during his concerts. Other people in your world that are eccentric are many actors and other musicians. Nicolas Cage, Charlie Sheen, David Bowie before he died. You'll know it when they do some pretty crazy things, or wear weird clothing."

Cody understood now, and he said: "Ohhh. OK. Loona said that very rich people do many weird things."

"Exactly. Yes, my father is rich, and he can do pretty weird things as I have mentioned, Cody. But don't let that get to you. And don't worry, no one will hurt you here like I said."

"Are you sure we can't go to Loo Loo Land?" the boy asked

"Positive. Trust me, sweetie. Loo Loo Land is no place for an innocent, adorable child like yourself. The theme park has been sued countless times over the years since it's opening all those years ago."

"OK. Sounds like the rides are dangerous, Octavia."

"Oh yes. Very dangerous if one is not careful. And you would probably be too scared of it anyway."

"OK."

The two looked at the garden some more and they both sat on a bench together, looking at the beautiful, yet twisted scenery of this rich and plentiful garden. Stolas was sure as hell rich enough to purchase all of these plants and hedges and garden statues to make this place look beautiful. It was like Hell's version of the Garden of Eden. Despite Octavia being there for him, Cody was still a little cautious around some of these plants. "Like I said, my dad fed all of the plants so they won't eat anything else, not until dinner tonight.

"Good." Cody smiled. "Well your dad seems nice."

"Yes, as long as he doesn't do any funny business with Blitz." Octavia sounded a little bitter. "He kinda ruined everything for him and my mother." she looked a little sad.

"What do you mean?"

"I prefer not to talk about it. Besides, it's more of adult things anyway."

"OK."

"But, on the other hand, my dad said he would never leave me behind so that I could never find him."

Cody smiled. "That's good. At least your parents are still here." he looked sad and curled his legs up in his arms, wanting to cry again. As much as he wanted to, he knew it wouldn't bring his parents back. For all he knew, they lived all the way up there in heaven while he is in hell with Loona, and he never even committed a sin before in his life.

Octavia took pity on him, and held him close to her like how Stolas sat next to her on that ride in the theme park before. She understood what the poor child went through so well, and she hated to see him sad like this as much as Loona did. She thought it was very nice and sweet for the hellhound to just save him from a terrible fire. Normally, Loona would be choleric, bad-tempered, and really violent at most times, along with having a bad attitude. Still, it was really sweet of her to save a mortal soul from dying in a fire.

She gently patted his head with affection, and said: "Don't be sad Cody."

"Maybe I could have saved them."

He felt Octavia gently hug him on the left side. "Shhh, don't be like that." she said soothingly. "There was nothing you could have done. You're just a child, Cody. You would have been dead, too. But you are still alive. You should feel happy and lucky that Loona had saved you."

"It's like God had sent an angel to save me." Cody thought.

"Even if she came from down here, and we are the opposite of angels, yes." Octavia admitted. "But please, don't be sad. You've already made new friends here. Right?"

Cody smiled, "yeah, I did."

"Oh kids!" said a sing-song voice. It was Stolas himself, probably wanting to check on her daughter and new friend to see how they were doing. He came in on the left, near one of his fancy hedges. "Ah, there you two are. Mind if I sit next to you both?"

"What is it, dad?" Octavia asked before his father sat next to her.

"I was just checking and fairing on how you two are right now. It's been over half an hour."

"Don't worry, dad." Octavia sang while rolling her eyes. "We're just fine. I am just showing Cody around the garden."

"Wonderful! There are so many sights to see."

"Although he's still a little worried that your plants would go... you know, carnivore on him." Octavia whispered in his ear.

"Oh nonsense! They would never go on a rampage and kill other people." Stolas said. "... as long as they are fed. They're... like pigs. As long as you have them fed, they will not turn ravenous."

"Good."

"So Cody, how do you like it down here in Hell?"

"It looks surprisingly... OK." the boy admitted. "At first, I thought it would be a place filled with eternal suffering in the lake of fire with demons poking at you with hot irons or pokers."

"That is only just some insulting stereotype. Granted, there is a little place like that, but that is only a small part of it." Stolas said. "Hell is pretty much like Earth, but it's... less civilized than up there."

"Well, I believe you, Stolas." said Cody. "But I hope Loona comes back later. I trust her the most."

"Understandable." Stolas said. "But don't worry, she will be back before the day ends. in the meantime, are you hungry?"

"No, I had Burger King with Loona."

"Very well."

Meanwhile

In a nice town called Lyon in France, there was a young man living with his girlfriend with brunette hair. He was living in a cottage, and it was somewhere out in the countryside. "Tommy," said the girl. "Can you please help me move the television, s'il vous plait?"

"Sure thing, Celeste." the young man said. He helped out his girlfriend and it was just then he heard the phone ring out in the hallway. "Don't worry, I'll get that." as he picked up the phone, he said: "Bonjour?" he was silent and his smile turned into a frown.

"Tommy, it's terrible. Your parents house caught on fire." said an elderly man. It was Mr. Thompson, the elderly neighbor of Tommy and Cody's parents back in America.

"What?" Tommy looked shocked. "What happened?"

"Your parents are dead."

Tommy's heart shattered into millions of pieces after hearing the bad news. "Oh mon dieu. This... this can't be happening."

"I'm very sorry."

"It's ok, Mr. Thompson. What about Cody?"

"They haven't found him. He's been saved by some girl that looked like a wolf a little."

"So he's alive?" Tommy had his eyes open. "Where is he?"

"I don't know, but he disappeared and he hasn't been seen since. A couple of people reported that he was last seen in Burger King." Mr. Thompson explained. "I'm really sorry again, Tom."

"It's not your fault. Shit happens."

"What's going on?" asked Celeste. Her boyfriend gave her the "just a moment" gesture while still on the phone.

"I'm going over there to find him." he said. "Thanks again. Bye." he hung up the phone to look at his love. "I'm sorry, Celeste. My parents got killed in a fire and my little brother disappeared. Gah! I should never have joined the Legion in the first place."

"It wasn't your fault." said Celeste. "Zees things happen unexpectedly."

"You're right." said Tommy. "I need to get a plane back to Michigan and look for him. It's bad enough I lost mom and dad. But I'm not going to let Cody die too! He's my little brother."

"Well, then I'm coming with you." said Celeste. "You'll need my help."

"That's fine. Besides, I know how much you love Cody."

"I do. He's so precious and innocent."

Back in Hell, later on

It was the afternoon and Loona, Blitz, Moxxie, and Millie came back with some blood on them. They were really going to need showers after they had all killed a pop star and her friends. "You know guys." said Loona, "I've never feel so happy to kill someone in my life. The way she screamed, and squirmed as I ripped Kesha's throat out with my teeth."

"I know! It was so fucking awesome!" Blitzo agreed.

"Sir, I could not agree with you or with Loona." Moxxie smiled. "This is a kill worth remembering."

"That will teach her to ruin good music!" Millie said. They all went back to Stolas' residence and they found Cody and Octavia looking out the window with a large telescope, gazing at the stars in the sky of Hell.

"Cody?" said Loona.

"Loona!" Cody gasped with joy. He was about to run up and hug her, but he paused, noticing the blood on her. "Wow. You're covered with blood. Are you hurt?"

"Nah, that's Kesha's blood. Yep, we gave her a very painful death. But don't worry, it was our only kill for the day. That's it." Loona explained.

"And she had it coming." Blitzo said. "You want to see the picture of her dead body."

Looking a little scared, Cody said. "No thanks."

"Well, come on kiddo. Let's get ya back at my place." he looked at the owl demon. "Thanks again, Via. I owe you."

"No, thank you. He is such a delight. Mum and dad like him a good deal, and he is so adorable." Octavia said. "Bye Cody. I will see you soon. Let me know if you all have to go out again and I will take care of him."

"Will do." said Moxxie before he and everyone else went back to the van and Cody sitting with Loona back to her home.
