Cody was a little mortified by the way Loona handled that hellhound. Sure, the lady killer was asking for it to be pounded silly by Loona, but he still felt that it was a little too extreme after how she finished him off. Monty was one of them fresh type of boys that come on too strong on a girl, which most girls do not like at all.

It was a rather rude thing to be fresh and come in too strong on a girl anyway. zit would be considered moving way too fast for her taste.

Monty was no more and Cody wouldn't have to worry about him since Loona gave him the works. Deep down, the kid wished Vortex was here so that he could... end Monty's suffering cleanly by just breaking his neck, but Tex was not here right now, and he was still at the pool with the guys. There was a few blood stains around Loona's mouth from the mauling and mutilating on the creep.

"Gah, that's the last time i ever have to deal with this creepy pervert again." Loona tasted the blood as she wiped her mouth off with a wet rag.

"You look like a vampire a little bit." Cody chuckled, remarking about the blood stains around Loona's mouth before she wiped them off.

"Well, be glad I'm not." said Loona. "O do not like the taste of blood at all. Besides, vampires are the kind of monsters you should always stay away from. I know they're not real, but still."

Cody laughed. "Yeah, I'll always stay away from those guys. Thanks for saving me from becoming dinner to thag guy."

Loona smirked before saying: "Don't worry about it. just always watch your step when you are down here in Hell."

"Got it." thinking, Cody was thinking of the hot succubus Verosika again. "She hasn't been trying to kidnap me again, has she?"

"Who?"

"Verosika."

"Oh! no. not really. good thing too. I guess she heard your brother's message well. Tommy wasn't kidding about what he said to her. Looks like she won't bother you again. Why?"

"I don't know. What if she's not that bad of a demon?"

"please. Only thing she cares about is her drinks and getting satisfaction for herself. Besides, she probably doesn't even care about you at all."

"True." Cody admitted. "She does only treat me like a pet anyway." he took another sip of his root beer. "This is Hell, so... I guess you can't really trust many people down here." The comment made Loona laugh a little bit.

"True, very true. But like I said; you can trust me, Tex, and the guys." The female hellhound remarked, gently hugging him on the right side.

"Of course I trust you, Loona. You saved me after all, and I owe you like a life debt."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, you don't have to owe me anything, kiddo." Loona chuckled. "Nope, your thanks is good enough for me." she looked around her. "And about Verosika, never trust her. Best to stay away from her so she can't kidnap you."

"She knows where I am at, you know?"

"Yeah, I know. But Vortex doesn't work for her anymore, and I think she feels helpless and weak without him by her side anymore. If she does kidnap you again, always count on us to help you out. And, if needed; we'll get Vortex, or Stolas to help ya out. Granted, that prince is a creeper, but if Blitzo needs his help, that crazy owl will do anything for Blitzo." Cody smiled gratefully to hear that. Yes, these demons seem to like and care about him a great deal. He was glad to be around people that like him, and thankful for it

"Good." he sais while looking at the redish-green grass he was sitting upon. "I'm starting to wish I have some guns like Tommy does."

"Wait, doesn't France have a law against using guns?"

"well, my brother was in the Legion."

"Right. I forgot about that." Loona said. "We'll be sure to call him too if something happens again. That book can teleport us anywhere we can point it to." It was silent for a few long minutes. Ultimately, Loona looked at the young boy and asked him: "So you ready to go back to the pool? The others are worried about you."

"Yeah." Cody gave a sad smile. "I guess I'm good."

"You sure?"

"Yep." Cody said. "I just need to move on with my life."

"Right. You're still very young and you've got a lot to live for an accomplish in life." she did something that have him slight chills. Loona gave him a soft, gentle kiss on his forehead. it wasn't like a flirty kind of kiss like Verosika, but what Loona gave him was quite different.

No, it was a kiss to show how much she cared about him very much. Yes, it proved that Loona is slowly growing to care for the boy. "Did you just... kiss me?" Cody couldn't help but ask her that.

"Yeah, but... don't tell anyone, or I'll never hear the end of it." the hellhound flatly said.

"I won't tell. I promise." Cody pretended to zip his lips, making Loona smile gratefully.

"Thanks, Cody." Loona smiled warmly at him. "I would hug you, but I'm worried the guys might see me doing it."

"That's fine." Cody smiled. He went back to the pool with Loona before being greeted by Vortex, hulking and towering over Cody with his beefy, muscular body.

"Are you feeling better, Cody?" he knelt down on one knee to have better eye contact with him.

"I am." said Cody

"Good. you had us worried back there." Moxxie admitted.

"Just so you know," said Blitzo, "I was the one most worried."

"No one cares, Blitzo." Loona narrowed his eyes at him.

"I guess you do have a soft spot after all, Loona." Millie remarked.

The female hellhound couldn't help but growl and snarl at her. "Say that again, and I'll use your tail as a toothpick." he looked at Cody, and said: "Let's just all be glad that Cody's doing better."

"Absolutely." Blitzo said. Looking at the boy, he added, I would just pick you up and bear hug you kiddo, but you'd be too heavy. I mean, I'm taller than most imps, but I'm still an imp."

"And he can't even lift a butterfly." Loona teased, making everyone laugh.

Blitzo began to seethe in anger as he heard his adopted daughter attack him like that.
