The next morning passed in Hell, and the sound of a demonic rooster crow was heard as the hellish sun risen over the horizon. Young Cody was still asleep in his bed, looking so peaceful in his slumber. the little boy was tossing and turning as he was gently snoring while in dreamland.

Loona came in the room and was wearing a black tank top and black pants.

"He looks like a sleeping puppy." the Hellhound thought to herself. Loona really hated to wake him up, but Cody had to wake up sooner or later. She walked up to him and began to gently toss and turn his small body. "Cody?" Loona whispered. "Cody?" the boy mare a small sigh and turned over. "Come on, kiddo. Time to get up."

At last, the child began to stir and opened his eyes with a yawn. "What time is it?" he asked

"ten in the morning." Loona said. "Can't always over-sleep, dude. Have to wake up some time."

"I know." he looked out the window to see a beautiful, yet twisted morning in Hell. "I didn't mean to fall asleep last night after the show."

"nah, it's a little kid thing. Nothing to be ashamed of." she gently rubbed the kid's back affectionately. She could hear Cody's stomach growling as soon as he woke up from his sleep. 'Uh-oh, someone's hungry." Loona sang with a smirk and left eyebrow raised. He heard his small stomach grumble even further and louder as if a xenomorph was going to pop out of his chest or stomach for three or four seconds. Cody grasped it, knowing that he was hungry.

Smiling, Cody said: "Yeah, i am hungry. But I need a shower."

"You got it. That's fine. Try not to get yourself wrinkled from the water."

"I won't, Loona." the boy said before getting in the bathroom, and getting in the shower to enjoy the nice, soothing, warm water. He thought of how amazing it was to perform in front of a live audience like that, and that he helped Octavia with her show. He can always remember the roaring and cheering from the demonic crowd in front of him and the stage. Granted; the cheering was mostly toward Octavia because of how beautiful she looked with that dress and long hairstyle.

Something told him that he might have a closer relationship with her and Stolas than ever. No doubt since Loona is always on her phone most of the time when she is not talking or interacting with other people. He wanted to see how it was in the video so he can always cherish it from Loona. Meanwhile, Loona got out of her bedroom and what she saw caught him by surprise. "What the fuck?" she exclaimed. There was her adopted father in his underwear and having some drinks more than was good for him. "Blitzo?!" Loona looked mad. "What the fuck are you doing?!"

"Just, hic! Having some spirits to get me started in the morning, Looney." said Blitz is a slurry voice. He was obviously drunk and looked silly as he was laying upside down on the sofa. "Did you sleep well, Loona?"

"Yeah, way better than you, obviously." Loona rolled her eyes. "Look at you, you're a fucking mess!"

"Don't talk to your daddy like that!" Blitzo pointed at her in a silly manner with his eyes out of proportion. "I am- hic! I adopted you after all. You know what, I wish you would call me dad every once in a while." he got off the sofa, and he was obviously having trouble standing up a little bit, considering the fact that he had ten bottles of beer. "And you know what too, why can't you be more like Moxxie and Millie? Hic! Someone who is always fucking cheery and fucking happy, and... fucking supportive?!"

Loona looked offended since she can't really stand Moxxie most of the time, and said: "It's too bad you're drunk right now, because if you weren't, I..." she looked at the TV, and noticed that there was Cody, Octavia, and Moxxie on the news performing at the club last night. "Oh. The guys are on the news." she noticed.

"Yes, the beautiful Octavia Goetia sings in a very beautiful voice that warms our hearts." said the announcer. "As a matter of fact: why doesn't this lovely owlette do her own music? Of course, there was some human boy on the bongos, and some wimpy, pathetic little Imp that can't even lift a butterfly." Loona couldn't help but chuckle at that statement the broadcaster said.

"That's just... Moxxie for ya." said Blitzo. "He's weak as fuck like a baby coming out of a fat lady's pussy. Hic! But, I love him anyway. Hic!"

"go back to sleep, Blitzo, you're drunk."

"Oh, I can't be drunk as fuck." said Blitzo, scowling at her with a goofy scowl, "But, it's ok for you?"

"I wouldn't drink fifteen bottles of that piss!" Loona said.

"Everything OK out here?" It was then Cody came out with new clothes, looking nice and clean after a nice, refreshing shower. Loona peaked over her shoulder and looked at him, who was curious. "What's wrong with Blitzo?"

"Oh! Cody, you're out of the shower. Blitzo... he's just being a fool again."

"Ah! Ha ha ha!" Blitzo made a silly cackle while he was drunk. "Here's my favorite midget of the hour," he slopily walked up to him and hugged him tightly. "I love ya so much, Cody." he then gave the child a hug, making him uncomfortable. "Just reel it in, kiddo. I mean, how can anyone not like a twerp like you?"

"Twerp?" asked Cody, looking confused. "Are you ok, Blitzo?"

"OK? I feel as fucking right as rain, Cody-boy."

"Get off him, Blitzo. Can't ya see you're making him uncomfortable?" she pried him off of him like he was an octopus tentacle with a suction cup, and the imp demon was a little hard to pry off. "Blitzo!" she scolded him with that scary angry look on her face. Blitzo did love his adopted daughter, but he was afraid of her as well. Looking at Cody with an apologetic look. "Sorry, Cody."

"It's ok." said Cody. "I think Blitzo needs some rest."

"Rest?" said Blitzo before giving out a small, hardy laugh. "I got myself enough sleep for one day." he looked at Loona again, and he asked her: "So... I'm curious, sweetie. Did you have a dream of sucking Vortex's hairy dick? Hmm?"

Loona blushed red and steamed blew out of her ears like geysers on the side, then she threw him on the ground. "Why the fuck would you even ask that, you dumb fuck?!" she exclaimed. Loona covered her mouth and looked at the boy. "I'm sorry Cody, I'm sorry."

"It's ok. really." said Cody. "I don't know why he's drunk like this?"

Loona looked uncomfortable and replied: "it's a thing he sometimes does. I mean, what do you expect? This is Hell after all, kid."

"True. It wouldn't surprise me. Should we help him?"

Loona looked at Blitzo, moving around on the floor as if he was running. "Nah. He'll be fine. All he needs is sleep."

"I told ya, I don't need any-!" but before he can finish his sentence, he suddenly fell asleep on the spot, snoring loudly while drooling.

"And there it is." Loona rolled her eyes. "He'll be fine. Now then, you want some breakfast?"

"Sure. What should we have?"

"Well, there's a local diner around here that serves really good breakfast foods." Loona said.

"Cah we go to Earth and have a breakfast up there?"

"How come?"

"Well, I remember the gross toppings on the ice cream from Wally's parlor."

"I understand."

"Do they serve blood for waffles or pancakes?"

"Yeah, it's an option." Loona admitted. "So sure. We can go on earth to have our breakfast." she magically turned to her human disguise and grabbed the book go teleport her and her human friend up to the human world. "Back on earth." she noted. "So do you know a place where we can eat?"

"Yeah, before my mom and dad... you know, there was a diner that we would go to sometimes. they make good waffles."

"What's the place?"

"Dave's Diner."

"Cool. Do you remember where it is?"

"I think so."

he and Loona walked down a few streets and some blocks until finally, there was the diner with the signature sign above it. "Is this the place?"

"Yep." They both entered the diner and it was not very busy, but not very empty either. There were about ten customers inside the place and there was a lanky African-American man with a beautiful African-American woman with braids in her hair.

Walking up to the stools, they sat down and they were greeted by the couple. "Cody?" said the man.

"Cody! it's you!" the female employee said.

"Thank goodness you're alright. When we heard about the fire, we... assumed the worse." the man had a look of sorrow on his face. "And... we're really sorry about what happened."

"Thanks, Dave." said Cody.

"Are you ok, honeybunch?" asked the female employee.

"I'm fine, Selma." Cody said. "I wish mom and dad were still here". he rested his chin on his crossed arms.

Dave placed a hand on the kid's right arm. "Hey, it'll be ok. We're very sorry again. So where have you been?"

"She saved me."

they both looked at Loona, who just gave them a bored, blank expression on her beautiful face. "Oh. wonderful." said Selma. "And who might you be?"

"Call me Loona." said she flatly.

"Loona huh? I'm Dave Reese, and this is my wife, Selma. We own this here diner."

"Whatever." said Loona flatly.

"Right, well, Cody, do you have a place to go?" asked Selma

"Loona here is taking care of me."

"Oh.. that's nice." said Dave, looking like he didn't like the feeling of this child being with a goth girl like Loona.

"Well, we don't judge. I mean, she's not the only... special kind of person to be here."

"What do you mean, Dave?" asked Cody

"A couple of weird creatures over there came here and sat in that booth all sad and lonely." the owner pointed. Curioisly, Loona and Cody looked over to the right corner of the diner, and saw what appears to be a baby, a blue sheep, and a yellow sheep with halos on their heads, looking sad and moping.

These three did look peculiar and they looked very morose and taciturn in some way. "Hey, they look peculiar." said Loona. "I'll be right back." she got off the stool and went up to the three things. Cody followed after her and she asked them. "Hey, you look familiar to me."

the three creatures looked at her and the baby said: "Oh, don't mind us, madame. We're just angels wishing to go back home into heaven."

"Angels?" asked Cody.

"Well, we used to be." said the blue sheep, who turned out to be a male. "Until a couple of awful, wicked, unclean demons came and ruined our lives."

"We didn't mean to have that poor old man killed. If not for those imps, we would just go back to heaven." said the yellow sheep, which was female.

"But the man didn't deserve it." said the blue sheep angel thing.

"Come on, Collin." said the female, "We all knew he was a horrible man, but we were just doing our job."

"Yes Keenie." said the blue angel, "But we're still angels."

"Maybe there's a chance we can go to purgatory." said the baby angel.

"I wouldn't get my hopes up, Cletus." said the yellow female angel. "Deerie made it clear."

"Wait..." said Loona. She gaspsd and remember seeing these three in a commercial in Hell some time ago. and it was coming back to her. "You're the cherubs, aren't you?" she pointed.

"Yes." said Cletus, looking a little confused. "How do you know about us?" then the baby recognized the red in Loona's eyes, even though she is a human. "Wait, you're one of them, aren't you?!" he got in Loona's face while growling. "Your friends ruined our lives!"

"Back off, baby!" Loona pushed his face with her own. Cody didn't know what was going on, and noticed that the people were staring at the commotion, knowing that it could lead to trouble.

"Loona, calm down." said Cody. "Why don't we go somewhere more private."

"Fine." said Loona. The three cherubs reluctantly agreed and went on the outskirts of the city so no witnesses could see them.

"You shitty demons are nothing but scum of existence!" said Cletus.

"You and your kind are all the same!" Colin added. "Refusing to repent for your sins and admit your wrongdoings!"

"We're going to return the favor, you loathsome, filthy demon!"

Loona turned back into her hellhound form and said: "how did you little fuckers know I was a demon?"

"We can always tell by looking into their eyes, you wicked beast." said Cletus. they looked at the boy and said: "Wait, why are you affiliating yourself with this, this... thing?"

"Sweetie, she's a demon." Keenie added..

"I know, but I'm confused, what's going on? Can you tell me your names?"

"Oh, of course." said Collin. "My apologies. We're the Cherubs."

"Short for... Oh we forgot." said Cletus. "Silly me."

"We are angels dedicated to helping people from dying and giving them second chances to live their beautiful lives."

"I'm Cletus."

"Keenie!" she sang

"And I'm Collin. But why are you associating with an evil, broad of a demon here?"

"Hey," said Cody. "Loona is the nicest demon i have ever met. She saved me."

"Saved you?" asked the talking baby.

"And here we go." Loona frowned.

Cody then told the story of how he lost his parents and how Loona saved him. "Oh, sweetie." said Keenie. "We're very sorry to hear that."

"We can find a way to bring them back." said Collin

His eyes perked up and Cody asked. "Wait... you can bring them back?"

"Don't listen to them, Cody." said Loona. "These freaks don't know what they're talking about."
