Loona helped Blizto sleep on his couch, still looking foolish as he was asleep. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, and Blitzo awoke with an outburst shouting: "Someone's fucking corn dog is done!" he looked wide awake, but suddenly fell back to sleep on the couch, like he just dropped dead.

"Well that was random." Loona said before answering the door. It was revealed to be her own coworkers themselves. She rolled her eyes and said: "Oh perfect, my two least favorite creatures in the world."

"Come on, Loona." Moxxie said, rolling his eyes himself. "That's a fine way to say: Ah, here are my friends coming to visit! how nice." Loon just made a small growl and showed her sharp teeth at the imp couple.

"We are just coworkers, but that's where it ends. You guys are nowhere near to being friends with me." said the Hellhound. "What are you doing here anyway?"

"What? we can't day hello to that little bundle of joy?" Millie said, seeing Cody and hugging him. "Sorry sweetie. I couldn't help myself."

"It's ok, Millie."

"How are you, Cody?" asked Moxxie.

"Just had a breakfast and Blitzo is... he's kinda..."

"Being a fool." Loona answered for him.

"What kind of fool?" Moxxie asked

"The 'being so drunk that he can't get his head straight' kind of fool. Look at him!" the female hellhound frantically waved her ledt hand at her adoptive father, making Moxxie and Millie to go around the couch to look at him.

Both Moxxie and Millie looked at how much of a mess their boss was. "Sweet Satan!" Millie exclaimed in disgust.

"Look at him! he looks disgusting." Moxxie added. "how many bottles did he drink?"

"Around ten of them."

"Oh Blitzo. I just don't understand you." Moxxie nodded his head sideways in disapproval.

"Well, i think we can agree on one thing, Moxxie." Loona smirked, "we both don't understand this weirdo a lot of times."

"Well, did y'all see the news?" asked Millie

"Yeah, me, Cody, and Octavia last night at the club?" said Moxxie.

"I know. we saw it too." said Cody. "Looks like you got a little popular Moxxie."

"Looks like it." the male imp admitted. "But, m being prone to bad luck, something will go wrong with me sooner or later."

"Come on!" Millie doubted, giving her husband a nice shoulder massage. "You're being too modest and hard on yourself, sweetie."

"Easy for you to say. Anything can happen honey." Moxxie admitted.

"You reek of low self-esteem." Loona looked at her phone.

"You can't even spell the word esteem!"

"Guys, calm down." said Cody. "Please don't kill each other."

"We won't kill each other." said Loona. "I say things to Moxxie, but I never actually kill him."

"So anyway, how do you feel about last night?" Millie asked the child.

"I feel good after last night. i'm glad i helped Octavia." Cody smiled. "We had a yummy breakfast in the human world." Cody looked out the window and wondered how his parents were doing up there in heaven while he is all the way down here in Hell. "Met old friends in my town, and it was nice to meet them again."

"Speaking of which," Loona said. "I ran into three familiar retards that you guys haven't see in a while."

"Enemies?" asked Moxxie with his right eyebrow raised in question.

"The Cherubs."

"Cherubs? Oh not those little twats again." Millie looked angry hearing that name.

Moxxie then asked his hellhound associate: "What did they want?"

"They just came along." Cody admitted. "We just found them at the diner we ate at."

"And Satan, they really fell from grace. Like they have been drinking in a bar, without the drinking." Loona added

Moxxie and Millie couldn't help but laugh at those three cherubs' misery. "Well, serves them right for trying to ruin our contract to kill Lyle Lipton." Millie looked happy.

"Did they give you any trouble, Cody?" asked the male imp.

"No, but they... they..." he slightly looked away. "I don't really want to talk about it" the kid admitted. He went to his new room to think things over.

"What's wrong with him?" asked Millie. "Did they hurt him?"

"No, of course not." Loona said. "If they did, he would be crying right now, and there would be some blood splattered on me."

"Good point." Moxxie pointed.

Loona calmly told them how Cody asked the three cherubs if they can show him his deceased mom and dad. Both Moxxie and Millie had a look of sympathy for the poor child. "Oh. I take it he still misses them?" asked Millie

"Of course he does, dumbass." Loona narrowed her eyes. "Come on, he still feels a little alone."

"Makes sense." Moxxie sighed. "But he knows he can't just bring them back, and he should just move on with his life."

"I know, Moxxie. But the least we can do is be there for him and help him if needed." the Hellhound reminded. "And come on, he still has his big brother. All he has to do is ask us if he can see him in France. That, or see if we can get him to visit here again."

"I'm sure he will pull through." Millie said. "And, I think it's nice of you to be so motherly to him, Loona."

"OK, say that again and I will bite your tongue out." However, deep down, she does really care about him and is fond of the child. She just doesn't really like to admit it. Yes, she can absolutely help Cody in any way possible if needed. However, she does not really see herself as a new mother to poor Cody. No, she views herself too young to call herself anyone's mother since she is in her mid-twenties. "I just care about him, and he doesn't really have nowhere else to go. Yeah there is Tommy but he lives far away from Cody's own home that is no fucking rubble."

"Yeah. that is so true." said Moxxie. "At least he can come and go to the living world whenever he pleases."

"True." Loona said. "And hey, at least he's friends with that rich asshole and Octavia."

"Come on, what's not to like about him? I mean, he is adorable and he is a good kid." Millie said. "But what about those cherubs?"

Moxxie scoffed before saying: "I wouldn't worry about them. If they can't re enter heaven again, they are powerless, sweetie."

"Right." the door was being knocked again, and Loona answered it. It was Vortex this time and he was looking handsome and bulky as ever. Loona was always happy to see this guy.

"Hey." he said. "How are you guys."

"Besides Blitzo getting wasted here." Millie pointed to her drunk boss, "We're doing good."

"What brings you here, Tex?"

"Just wanted to say hello to little Cody here. Where is he?"

Loona instantly frowned before answering: "He's in his room."

"Ooh, what happened?"

"It's a long story, but he's thinking of his parents again."

"Oh boy." Vortex frowned. "Poor Cody."

Speaking of which, the kid was on his phone, looking at a few videos and pictures that had him, Tommy, and his parents. Just looking at them just made him want to cry in nostalgia.

"So with the boss slightly out of action," waid Tex. "What do you think we should do?"

"well, we could just wait for a client to come to the office or give us a call for any assassin job." said Moxxie. "and... hey" a sly look appeared on his face, "Why don't we take a day off from work?"

"Never thought i would say that Moxxie, but good idea."

"Yeah, just relax for a little bit, at least until we get a call from a client and work out the pay for the target." Vortex said. "So who should take Blitzo's place for the time being?"

"I think you should, Vortex." said Millie. "You got a calm demeanor and you got the looks of a good leader."

"Like a leader of the pack?" Moxxie raised his left eyebrow.

"Exactly!"

"Well, for now, why don't we take a look at the video you recorded of Cody, Loona?"

"You read my mind." said the female hellhound. "Let me get Cody." she went into the bedroom to look for him. The funny thing was: she couldn't find him ob the bed. "Cody? where are you?" she called out. There was no answer and looked around the room. "If Verosika kidnapped him again, i fucking swear to Satan..."

Walking Past the closed bathroom door, she heard the faint sound of someone ob TV. "Having heaed his cry," said a British voice from the outside of the bathroom door. "Pa grape enters the scene."

"Cody?" Loona then knocked on the door. "Are you ok in there?"

"I'm fine!" Cody called back. "Just watching some videos."

"In the bathroom?" Loona asked

"Yep."

"Speaking of which, I want to show you the video I recorded from last night when you were at the club." said Loona. "Wanna see it?"

"Sure."

the boy stepped out of the bathroom to meet the others out in the living room. "Hey Cody, how are you?" asked Vortex.

"Doing good, Tex."

"What were you doing in there?" asked Millie.

"Just watching a video me and my parents recorded for me on YouTube." Cody admitted.

"Ooh, what kind of video?" asked Moxxie

"I don't know if I should show you guys, you will laugh at me."

"Oh come on. we won't laugh." Loona said. "Even if we did, we would laugh with you, not at you." Loona urged him. "Come on."

Cody ultimately gave in and said: "OK. it's a little embarrassing, but I'll show you." he pulled out his phone to show them the video he did with his brother, parents, and a couple of his friends from school. It revealed to be a live-action reenactment of the Hairbrush song from VeggieTales.

Of course, it was an actual recording of the silly song and everyone was just moving their mouths to the lyrics with Cody as the star of this video.

"Oh where is my hairbrush?" the video sang.

The others couldn't stop smiling at this funny video and Loona especially tried to hold back her laughter. "When was this?" asked Loona

"Two years ago."

At last, Loona couldn't hold it any longer and began laughing. Of course, she was laughing with him and not at him. She thought it was adorable, along with her cohorts, who laughed at the funny moments.
