Cody was still shooting hoops at the arcade and his new hellhound friends noticed how well the kid was doing in this little arcade game. Cody was getting perfect scores through the hoops without missing. Dozens of other demon kids and some adult demons gathered around to notice this little event happening right now.

"Kids got skills." said an older kid demon.

"How does he do that?" his younger imp brother said in amusement.

"No idea." their muscular father said. There were so many tickets being pulled out of the hoop machine and it was almost piling like a mountain. Loona couldn't help but videotape this on her phone.

This was quite remarkable how Cody got some enhanced agility from his hellhound form. "This is fucking awesome." she thought.

"How long can the kid keep this up?" asked Vortex.

"I have no idea." Crystal replied.

"Look at him go." Serena added.

At last, after ten more minutes of ticket winning and shooting as much hoops as he can, Cody knew that he had to get tired some time, even if he is a hellhound now (even if Hellhounds can do exercise far longer than humans can).

He was not completely Hellhound however, for he can still sweat like a human can (granted, he doesn't know if Loona can pant her tongue out like regulsr wolves or dogs can.) He had enough and looked at all the tickets he won, abd he was surprised.

Perhaps- he was so caught up in the hoop shooting, he didn't even notice all the tickets he won, and he was surprised. He then wiped his now doggy-face as small drops of sweat were dripping from his pores.

He heard some demons cheer on for him and praising him for his skills. Deep down, Cody was touched that he was getting praise from these demons. Funny enough, he didn't see that mean, far demon boy that picked on him.

It was good however, because that kid meant trouble to him, especially how he just pushed Cody out of pure spite. "That was amazing, Cody." said Loona, going up to congratulate him with her cronies. "How did you do that?"

"I... don't really know." Cody admitted, sounding modest in himself. "I just shoot the ball into the hoop and I kept winning tickets."

"Maybe it's because of your enhanced eyesight and strength, Cody." Tex smiled.

"Ooh, maybe." the boy looked at the pile of tickets and wondered if there was anything good that he can purchase with them. There was a skinny, lanky imp demon in a carny-like outfit, looking shady and sleazy, and he looked like a con-artist kind of demon.

"Hello, hello!" said the employee. "Whoo, that is a lot of tickets, youngin. Wait- were you the one the crowd was looking at a few minutes earlier?" he sounded ratber curious.

"Yeah. That was me. I was shooting hoops without missing a shot."

"Sweet Satan!" said the arcade demon in surprise, looking at all the tickets and what the boy said before. "Well, it's your lucky day, my boy. What would you like to purchase?"

The kid looked long and hard at the many different prizes on display. One thing that caught his attention was something very nice and very valuable. This prize had the highest price of any ticket in this place.

It was a Black Label Society ring, the one that fellow berserkers have as a kind of symbol of being a fan of the band. When he first came down here, he noticed the Black Label Society wallpaper that Loona had on a side of her wall.

Loona is certainly a metal-loving hellhound, for she had the looks and makeup to show that she was, along with the Black Label poster, and Pantera, and Metallica, and Megadeth, etc.

Perhaps... yes, this should be a perfect gift for Loona since she was so nice and kind to him since she saved him from that... tragic accident. "sir, why is that ring the most expensive one for tickets here?"

"It's a rather interesting story, kid." said the carny demon. You see, that ring over there, used to belong to Zakk Wylde himself. He lost it years ago, and then some rich owl demon of some... royal nature brought it to me and sold it for one-hundred thousand demon dollars."

Cody realized who it was when he heard the term "owl demon" in his ears. "Stolas." he said.

"Yeah! That's the guy." the employee recognized that name too. "That's the one, sonny. Just let me count the tickets, and see if I can pay for it."

"Take your time." the four friends counted the tickets and it took a minute or two. There was at least one-thousand tickets from the game Cody kept on winning, and the kid looked at the ring, which was exactly one-thousand tickets. So, the boy happened to be in luck. It was the perfect amount to purchase that trinket.

"Are you sure you want to spend it on that, kiddo?" asked Vortex. "There's a paddle ball, and some funny toys."

"I'm sure I want the ring, Vortex." said Cody. "It's what I want."

"It's your choice, and your tickets." Loona gently ruffled his brown hair with affection.

"Very well, the ring it is." the carny said. "Oh! Wait!" he said before he took the tickets. "I just realized... it's the incorrect price! yeah." it sounded like this demon was lying.

"Incorrect?" said Serena

"Yep! The correct price is around here somewhere... Let me look." he turned his back behind the group, looking so confused at him. While they were not looking, the employee pulled out a pencil and piece of paper, and wrote down a number and the ring label. He hit it behind his back and looked a little nervous. "Well, It appears that, Verosika Mayday!" he pointed, with Cody looking at the direction the demon was pointing in fear. He was afraid of being abducted by that slutty popstar demon once again. The other three hellhounds snarled, keeping a close eye on the cunt in case she tried to ambush the boy.

"I don't see her." said Crystal. "You?" she looked at Vortex.

"Nope, not a trace."

While they were looking, the demon had a sneaky look on his face, and removed the original price sticker of the ring, to the new one. "Oops, darn me. But I found the price. I was sure I thought I saw that pop singer." the others looked back and when they saw the so-called "correct price" on the ticket, and they were shocked.

"What?!" Cody said. "Ten-thousand tickets?! That- that can't be right!"

"Sorry, little man." said the demon. "But that is the correct, price, and it's final. No less."

"But, I read correctly, the price was one thousand."

"Well, sorry to disappoint you kid, but this is the correct price." the imp looked smug.

"But... I'm a heavy metal fan. I want... I want that ring." Cody looked despondent, with his head down.

"Oh come on. don't be a sore loser. If you really are a heavy metal fan, then you should go out there and win some more tickets." the demon said. "No point in being a baby about it."

Loona growled in anger, and she can plainly see that the kid was being taken advantage of, and this demon was a shyster and a con-artist. "Hold that thought, Cody." said Loona. "I'll handle this." she walked up to the stall hopped over the counter, and pulled down the curtain,

"Hey! You can't be here. This is for employees only!"

"Shut the fuck up, you cocksucking piece of shit!" Loona growled. The sound of clawing, mauling, and a wolf growling was heard behind the metal curtains, and the sound of the carny demon screaming and yelling in fair and pain was heard. Cody was surprised and Vortex, being a very nice good who was good with kids, couldn't help but gently cover the boy's ears so he wouldn't have to hear the intense violence going on in there. "Tell me the truth, dude! Or I will claw your ball and make you eat them."

"OK! OK!" said the demon, giving up. "One-thousand is the correct price!"

Loona smiled in satisfaction, and opened the metal curtain back up to reveal the demon clawed and badly bruised. "He was wrong, Cody." said Loona, sounding pleased with what she did. The tickets were handed over to the employee and Cody was happy to get the ring. So shiny, so sparkly, and so delicate with a skull on it. He smiled and was happy to have gotten it. He knows that Loona would like the ring, but they all decided to just sit around and eat some pizza together, along with drinks. Yes, they were having fun together in the arcade, and the pizza tasted so good
