Blitzo blushed as he was happy to see Miss Mayberry once again after many, many months since her assassination request for I.M.P and having their celebration cake together. "Well, it's been a while." said Mayberry.
"Y-yeah." both of them blushed and slightly looked away. Perhaps this was a small, romantic circle between them.
Loona rolled her eyes and clenched her arms with her hands. "Oh someone kill me now." she said under her breath."
"Ah, it's you again... uh... what is your name again, dear?" the former teacher asked the female hellhound. "I know you're Blitzo's Hellhound, but you never told me your name."
Loona got offended and said: "Uh, hello?" she said. "When you say I'm his hellhound, that's like saying I'm his pet, genius, which I'm not!"
"Right! Loona is also my loving daughter." Blitzo proudly stated.
Rolling her eyes again, Loona simply sang: "Like I said before: only on paper." Those words made Blitzo frown and a little hurt.
Nonetheless, Blitzo quickly regained his usual, friendly attitude and said to Mayberry "So how have you been, Moira?"
"Same old things. Wishing i can atone for what i did up there in the living world." Mayberry had a change of demeanor by angrily stating: "And ways to completely screw Jarold over like the way he screwed me!" she looked rather scary when she is raging mad.
"Wow. Every day, i keep thinking how cool and fearsome you are every day, Moira."
Those words made the female demon blush and said: "Oh. thank you." she smirked before looking at the human child. "So Cody, how did you end up down here?"
"He's explain the story to many people. Many, many times." Loona said. "But in short... come closer." Mayberry zoomed her ear closer to Loona's dog-like mug, and began whispering something in Mayberry's ear about what happened with Cody in recent turn of events and why he is down here in Hell.
Mayberry, like his new friends when they first heard of it, was as equally surprised and sympathetic towards Cody. "Oh. Cody. i... I'm so sorry about what happened with your parents." she bent down and laid a soft hand on his right shoulder. "But i still think you should be up there in heaven with them."
"Maybe. But Hell isn't as bad as many people eay it is down here." Cody admitted
"Fair enough." Mayberry smirked. "I mean, the living down here is a little comparable to Earth, but a little more... run-down down and more ill-mannered."
"And Loona saved me. She's my friend and... i really like her."
"It's true" said Blitzo, "Loony has become like a big sister to Cody."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. i wouldn't go that far." Loona admitted. "Cody's just... a friend."
"Wait, you're from Earth?"
"Yep. i got screwed over when my evil husband, Jarold, cheated on me for some... I can't say these things in front of you. You're still a little kid." Mayberry admitted.
"A slutty bitch?" Blitzo said
Loona and Mayberry instantly got mad at Blitzo and both exclaimed: "Blitzo!"
"Seriously?!" Loona asked
"What? It's a habit." Blitzo admitted. "In school, kids and people called me the 'King of cussing'. It fits me perfectly."
"Well would it kill you to watch it for once?" asked Mayberry?"
"I'm sorry that you got cheated on." said Cody.
"No, no, there is no need for you to be sorry, sweetie." Mayberry gently reassured him. "It wasn't your fault. You weren't there when it happened."
"And then she asked me and I.M.P to kill the woman who seduced her own husband. Turns out, she was a complete and utter mental case who worshipped Satan, along with her dysfunctional family." Blitzo said.
"Her name was Martha." said Loona. "No doubt she came down here after death. So Cody, when you see her, stay away."
"She's right, Cody." said Mayberry. "She is very dangerous."
"I'll be careful." Cody said.
Loona smiled, knowing that the kid will be fine and knows how to watch himself. Perhaps since he is traumatized from losing his parents in the fire, it probably taught him how to be make careful in life.
Some people learn those kind of things the hard way. "Good." said Loona. "Ah, who am I kidding? I doubt you might even meet her anyway. They say she and her family like to keep themselves isolated like a family of hermits".
"Wouldn't surprise me." said Mayberry. "They lived in an isolated lifestyle before they were killed."
"I'll stay away from them. i promise." said Cody
"Good." said Mayberry. "You are such a precious child and I would never forgive that family if they tried to hurt you in any way."
"So Mayberry, why don't we make up for lost time later?" said Blitzo with a wink. "If you know what i mean."
"what about Stolas?" said Loona.
"Ah what Stolas doesn't know won't hurt me, Loona. You shouldn't worry about it." Blitzo shrugged
"Ah, whatever. Besides, I'm already in hell." Mayberry shrugged. "So Cody, do you go to school? I know I'm dead now, but the law says you still have to go to school up there."
"Oh I know. But I'm mourning for my parents and i want to grieve for them."
"Oh... I understand." said Mayberry. "But remember, a proper education is important for all children."
"I know. That's what my grandparents said to me before."
"Well, prepare to have your body ready for me, Moira." Blitzo sang. "I know how a make a sexy baby happy." he bounced his eyebrows three times.
"Oh my god." Loona facepalmed. "Good luck not getting in trouble with Stolas one of these days, Blitzo."
"You don't have to worry about me, sweetie." said Blitzo. "If you should worry about anyone, it's the kid himself."
Little did the group know that from the other side of the store, someone was watching them. It was a rather beautiful demon woman with one eye missing and having a red heart over it. As a matter of fact, he skin was pale purple and had a demon tail and long, pale brown hair and wide hips.
She was looking at it in astonishment. "Well, I'll be Satan's daughter." she said in a southern belle voice. "A human boy down here in Hell. Who would have thought that?"
"And those IMP fuckers are with him, and that crazy bitch who almost killed ya." said her husband. "Well, I can go over there and give her what for." he cracked his knuckles and was about to head over to where the IMP group and Mayberry were, but he was stopped by his wife.
"Now now, Ralphie." said the beautiful demon woman. "No need to be irrational. We will have our revenge, but not just yet. Nah, some things require planning and maneuvers. Right kids?"
"Right, mom." said her son and daughter in unison
"Some things take time, and this is one of them. And, hey, maybe we can use that adorable little boy to our advantage against those little bitches called Assassins." she had a wicked smile and had her sweet demeanor changed again. "And just look at him. That little boy is as cute as a prairie dog in the middle of winter. I mean, I can just pinch his cheeks right now, but that Blitzo and that slutty, literally bitch of his daughter is with him, and they'll ruin everything."
"Well, should we eat him?" asked Ralphie
"No. They got plenty of good meat down here. We're dysfunctional and proud of it."
"You can say that again mom." said the boy. "We're always look for some new friends to play with."
"I know you do, Jimmy. I know."
"Well, when we strike, let us know, mom." said the daughter
"I most certainly will when the time is right, Abby. I sure will." They backed away from the shelf into the shadows (With Martha pulling her shopping cart with groceries.)
"Mom, are we still going to buy some candy?" asked Jimmy
"Yes, yes, sweetie." said the demon lady.
Ah, it was good to be back at the arcade again. This time, Moxxie, Millie, and Octavia were with the group this time. "ooh! They have laser tag!" said Moxxie. "Now that's something I can do around here." he clapped his hands happily.
"They also have shooting games down here, Mox." said Millie. "Like... Look! There's Baby Killer and Angel Of Death."
"Oooh, that's even better!" Moxxie said. "Normally, I would prefer the real deal, but maybe this can be good target practice in how I use my gun skills." he pointed his hands in a gun position and did the gesture, pretending to shoot from his fingers.
Loona just rolled her eyes and said: "Yeah, probably the only good thing you can do around here, besides mucking up on everything else."
"Very funny." Moxxie said.
"Come on, Loona." said Cody. "You should be a little more nicer to Moxxie
"Ha! Don't waste your time telling her that, Cody." Moxxie said to him before looking at Loona with bitterness. "She couldn't be nice to me even if she tries, because she is a..." he motioned his face towards Loona's face before slowly saying: "A literal... Stone. Cold. Bitch." Those words made Loona growl like a rabid wolf and she tried to lunge at Moxxie with her teeth barred, but Vortex stopped her by holding her back with his strong arms
"I'll show you stone cold bitch, you bitch boy!" said Loona
"Hey hey hey! Calm down, Loona. Calm down!" Vortex said before giving her a a nice shoulder massage, nice and gentle with his meaty hands. The nice, gentle touch was calming Loona down in an instant, and it was making her relax, like she was in paradise. "Just relax, and try to focus on what matters to you." the male hellhound added. After massaging her for a minute, Loona was one-hundred percent calm now and took a breath. "Feel better?"
"Yeah." but she looked at Moxxie with anger. "Just don't ever call me that again."
"Well, he is right." said Tex. "You should be a little more nicer to Moxxie here. He's a chill guy."
"Grrr... I'll try." said Loona while rolling her eyes.
"Come on, guys." said Cody. "Can't we just have fun here while Blitzo and Stolas are on their date tonight?"
"I agree. Even though I hate seeing my own dad hang with that weirdo, I agree with Cody completely. Octavia said, giving him a soft touch on his right shoulder. "Besides, at least just try to remember that Cody is here with us."
"Right." said Millie. "Sorry Cody."
"It's ok."
"So what do you guys want to do first?" asked Crystal
"Well... We can do Laser Tag again." Cody said. "That's fun, but is it safe for me to be here because I'm a human now?"
"Don't worry about it." said Octavia, "You've already been on TV here."
"And the demons at the store didn't give you a hard time earlier, did they?" Loona asked
"No. I mean, a few of them stared at me while at the store." the human kid remembered.
"Bah, screw them." said Millie. "What the hell do those turds know?"
"She's right." said Moxxie. "I mean, there will always be someone in the world that won't like you. Down here in hell, there's no exception."
"I know."
They all hit the Laser tag ring, and had fun. Octavia, on the other hand, didn't really participate and just watched the monitors as the others were playing in the arena. She was eating some popcorn and drinking a cup of rat blood from a large cup. "That is quite refreshing." she said to herself. "Satan, I love cold rat blood in a large container." Since Cody was a human again, he couldn't really do the Matrix acrobatics he did when he was a Hellhound, but he didn't care. He was having fun with his friends and it turns out; he still came out victorious (mostly because of his small stature in appearance).
He even got first place in the first game, then Tex, then Loona, and then Moxxie, who won the rest of the rounds, thanks to his incredible skills in firearms.
After that, everyone was doing their own thing, and playing different games. Moxxie, of course, was playing alien hunting games with fake guns with his loving wife. While looking around for something fun to do, Cody saw something that caught his attention. "Oh my god!" he said, rushing over to an arcade machine that was labeled: "Guitar Warrior" with two guitar controllers strapped to the device. He couldn't believe that one of the best arcade games on Earth was down here in Hell also. He was so happy to see it down here, and he promptly used his arcade tokens to play the thing.
He smiled and grabbed the first guitar in the shape of a Les Paul with six colored buttons on the neck. He saw "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N Roses on it, one of his favorite songs of all time, and when he played it, the music played loudly through the master recording of the song, and Loona perked her ears up, hearing the famous guitar tune by Slash, and she looked over to where it was coming from. Cody was playing the song without missing any notes at all, and she was impressed. "Oh my god." she said
The more Cody played on the song, the more people it gathered and gained attention from, watching Cody play on the machine. He still never missed a note. Eventually, a little more into the song, Vortex, Moxxie, Millie, Crystal, Serena, and Octavia crowded around the area to watch him play on the large TV screen. What made it even more impressive was: Cody was playing the solo, and he still never missed the notes
"Look at you go, Cody." said Loona.
"Am I doing good?" Cody asked while strumming and hitting the hammer-ons.
"Good?" said Loona with a look of impressiveness on her face
"You are doing awesome!" said Tex.
When the fast solo played, Cody played on and on, and when he was done playing the famous solo of the song, there was a round of applause from many arcade-goers and kids, and Octavia said: "You know how to rock, sweetie."
"Thanks, Octavia."
"What do you think, guys?" said Loona
"I agree! You are so good on that thing." said Crystal
"One-hundred percent amazing!" Serena added
"Hey Mox, Mills, can you- Guys?" Vortex noticed the two making out with one another, and he realized that they were making out during the song. Turns out: a song like that can get them into a kissing passion to show their love. Some kids were grossed out by the kissing, but some other demons got a few pictures of them kissing, and swooning. Nevertheless, Cody was not done just yet. No, he still needed to finish the song. When he finished, there was a round of applause for him and some cheering.
"That was amazing Cody!" said Loona, grasping to hug him like his own mother would do. "That's my little rock star." Cody flushed and loved this sensation Loona was giving him (not in a romantic feeling, but the other kind).
"Yeah, that was awesome." said Moxxie. "I didn't know you played that kind of game."
"I did lots of times before my parents died." Cody admitted. "Even though I haven't played it in three months."
"Looks like you still got it, sweetie." said Millie
"Can you do harder songs on that thing?" asked Vortex. "Not challenging you or anything. I'm just asking."
"Well, I'm not sure if I can beat 'Fury of the Storm' on it. I tried it a few times, and I always lose at the middle part of the solo." it sounded like Cody still had modesty and integrity in him. "I tried so hard, but I just can't seem to perfect it or keep it up."
"No shame in it." said Octavia. "You're still a good player at this game."
"Let's see what else you can do at this game."
Cody started to play Dokken's "In My Dreams" and it was a classic one, one of Dokken's best songs to hear and listen to. The kid didn't miss a single note and what made the people around him more amazed was that; he played the fast fingering part of the song, and he didn't miss a single note, perfecting it without ease. Loona and the others applauded him for that move he did and he received another round of applause for playing the game.
"Awesome." Loona said. "Just awesome."
"Thanks."
Moxxie couldn't help but bring it on himself to play with Cody on the game for another song, only for him to not understand how the game workds, especially the colored buttons on the neck of the guitar controller. "Oh crumbs." he said. He lost the match in an instant, and could hardly believe he lost the game to Cody
"It's ok, Moxxie." said Cody, trying to cheer him up. "You tried your best."
"Yeah. I know. I'm just more accustomed to playing real guitar. This one just feels so different."
"Well funny how you lost to a little kid," Loona smirked
"I have to give you credit though." said Octavia. "You still managed to try and give it your all, Moxxie."
"At least someone besides Millie encourages me and gives me a confidence booster." he narrowed his eyes at Loona again
