Cody was having a nice talk with Tommy, Celeste, and their legionnaire friends. He was really glad to have been out of there and on the other hand: he was still thinking of whether to thank Verosika or not.

Alas, he still didn't like her and still didn't want anything to do with her, or her slutty posse. "So you're not hurt, right buddy?" Tommy tried to lift his spirit.

"I'm ok guys, really." Cody said.

"Tommy, You're his brother, not his mother. Besides, he is in good hands with me."

"For a demon, you are becoming a good mother for Cody." said Chibuzo.

"What?" Loona looked confused. "Mother? That's complement ridicule! Besides, I'm too young to be a mom. I view myself as... more of a friend to Cody.

At first, Cody looked a little hurt, but he remembered that Loona does care about him, and she just didn't like to share her feelings.

"I'm twenty-five, still too young to be a mother anyway."

"I've known a few girls in high school who had babies when they were sixteen." Luc admitted.

"Why would they let a minor get laid?" Loona sounded a little surprised.

"Whoa whoa whoa!" Ali intervened. "Let's just calm down a little here."

"Mon ami!" said Pierre, "Never tell a lady to calm down."

"He's right." said Loona. "Boys telling girls to calm down never works. It just makes us even more pissed off."

Ali obviously looked scared at Loona and wished he had his crescent moon necklace out right now in case she tried to attack him. "My sincere apologies." he said.

Loona then pulled out a bottle of bloody mary and said: "here, you guys want some of this?"

"I'll take it." said Pierre.

"Merci but no merci." Ali said. "I do not drink."

"Pour it on me." Luc said.

"I don't really drink either." Chibuzo added.

"I guess I can have a little bit of that spirit." Tommy admitted.

"Try not to get so drunk." said Celeste. "losing your balance and all."

"don't worry baby. I'll be fine." Tommy said before taking a few sips. "So Cody, you plan on going back to school."

"uh-huh. I just want to wait a week so I can mourn for mom and dad."

"Oh. I understand." Tommy said. "You know you still have school, right?"

"I know, Tommy."

"So how are you going to get back to Earth?" asked Pierre.

"He has his ways of coming to earth." Tommy pointed. "With Loona, anything is possible."

"Don't worry about the kid." said Loona. "i'll get him there when he goes back. I know it sounds weird because i'm a demon, but i will make sure he is in good hands."

Tommy smiled, but his friends looked a little unsure about this. "Uh, Tommy," said Pierre. "Are you sure we can trust her and these demon? They're supposed to represent evil after all."

"Against my better judgment," Tommy said. "I trust her."

"Look, i'm sure you guys have heard a lot of bad reputation about us demons. But not all of us are simple-minded spiders." said Loona.

"It's true." Blitzo added. "I mean, look at Moxxie and Millie here. They love each other to pieces. Pretty healthy for an average demon down here."

"Fair enough." said Ali.

"Besides," said Tommy, "Loona saved Cody from the fire. And like I mentioned: if you don't trust Loona,"

"At least trust Tommy here." Celeste added.

"Well, we do trust him." said Luc. "So we can try to trust her."

Loona didn't smile, but she did on the inside of her so she wouldn't show it. She still like to keep her tough-as-nails personality on her at all times. "Thanks." she said flatly.

"Well Cody, we really need to go." said Tommy.

"Oui, i was going to make your brother some cookies in the oven." Celeste said. "And he loves my cooking."

"Oh, ma cherie." Tommy chuckled. "Maybe you can make me a sandwich as well, if you know what i mean."

"Ooh hoo, i know exactly what you mean, mon chere." Celeste had a flirty look on her beautiful face.

"OK." Cody said.

"You'll be ok down here, will you buddy?" asked Tommy

"Yep. I'll be fine." said the kid with a smile.

"Good. I'm just glad you're alright, that's what counts."

All the adult humans said bye to the demons and Blitzo opened the book to take them back to France. "I hopethey won't tell everyone else what happened."

"They swore." Crystal reminded. "Their lips are sealed.

"Yep, we Hellhounds can sense if someone is telling the truth or lying."

"And Cody," Crystal mentioned, "they were telling the truth."

"Good. I don't want you guys to get in trouble with Satan, or the Red Goddess or who rules the place."

"Come on, we won't get in trouble, sweetie. "We're sneaky as a bunny in the bermuda grass."

"Even if we do get in trouble, you won't have to worry about us." Moxxie added.

"And who's the Res Goddess?" Octavia asked curiously.

"My brother's friend said she rules hell in a video game called Agony."

"Agony?" asked everyone.

"Yeah, i'll show you guys." Cody pulled up his phone and showed everyone the infamous Onoskelis demon them.

"Ohhhhh. That shitty video game?" said Blitzo, "Gah! sorry, cruddy video game?"

"Uh-huh."

"I've seen footage of it." said Octavia, "it just looks plain wrong."

"Yeah, i mean, what kind person would have the mind to create a twisted game like this?" Vortex added. "Granted, hell can be twisted, but this game is just ridiculous."

About a week had passed and Cody was getting himself ready back to school after getting out of the shower. Loona was happy to get him a new backpack, and they transported to the human world with that little book.

Loona was careful to transform into her human disguise to blend in

"Will you be ok up here, Cody?"

"Yep. and you know where to find me when it's three, right?"

"Don't worry. I'll be here to pick you up when school's over."

"Thank you, Loona."

"Don't mention it. Just have a good day."

"I will." Cody was a little nervous, but he decided to treat it like it was a normal day back at school after the tragedy.
